One of the most horrific things I’ve ever learned in my life, (and I’m sorry to curse you with the knowledge too), human bodies treat potatoes and corn like carbs, not vegetables.

Corn is a grain, not a vegetable. Imagine eating corn as a healthier version of bread.

Potatoes (while technically a vegetable) are so full of starch, they are practically a healthier version of pasta.

Corn and potatoes aren’t bad, but you gotta eat other vegetables.

i mean this in the gentlest way possible: you need to eat vegetables. you need to become comfortable with doing so. i do not care if you are a picky eater because of autism (hi, i used to be this person!), you need to find at least some vegetables you can eat. find a different way to prepare them. chances are you would like a vegetable you hate if you prepared it in a stew or roasted it with seasoning or included it as an ingredient in a recipe. just. please start eating better. potatoes and corn are not sufficient vegetables for a healthy diet.

Wanted to post this earlier as a celebration of Pat Robertson's death, because it is an excellent party song, but my landlord was outside painting my window frames today, singing Christian songs, and it felt a bit weird.

But here it is now. For the record, if bands were allowed to actually play during Eurovision, then Citi Zēni not making it to the finals would've been worse than disappointing; it would've been a fucking crime.
