Because I'm terminally allergic to accepting movie canon as canon when it comes to this saga here is my map of Panem drawn from vague memory. The sizes are a bit wonky but I think most larger districts are not fully inhabited either way. I decided that the numbers are given for distance from the Capitol which sadly prevented me from putting district 4 in Florida as my heart desired. I'm soso good at gerrymandering

Video on Tellico Dam is live! Feel free to tell me how I can improve. First time doing audio recording that wasn't on my phone. Apologies for interference that I didn't anticipate at first. I learned eventually 😅

Klamath National Forest, California
The 4th day backpacking the Trinity Alps Wilderness did have some burn at the start, but mostly was a day of lakes and explorations. I stopped by one of the Forest's designated special places (for geology) even!

11/4/23.
The Age of Colored Lizards is just an excellent name for a band. This is a bedroom recording project from Oslo, Norway based musician Christian Dam.
This brings to mind bands like East River Pipe, Stars on Fire, and various releases on Requested Records (Sweat Enzo and the like).
This is released on Sotron Records, which is also based in Oslo, Norway. It looks like Christian Dam might run this label.

This isn’t gonna be an educated take or anything it’s just me bitching, but as someone from NC who has lived here my entire life and has personally witnessed my neighbors beg the government to update our old as fuck infrastructure with no acknowledgment or action in return, the fact that millions-billions are being sent to fuel genocide and personally jack off millionaires makes me sick.
My city lost power and luckily avoided the flooding, but there are entire towns like Asheville and Waynesville that are completely underwater. Or beautiful places like Chimney Rock that are gone. Washed away. Dams fit to burst and roads swept into the trees. Meanwhile this dumbass government focuses on all the wrong things and turns blind eyes to anything involving climate change. The southern east coast is already notoriously historically neglected and this is really a textbook example of that.
I guess my point is: vote at your local levels + donate where you can. I’ll add a link below to a page with several good donation sites.
If you want to add more information or links to this post feel free, I just wanted to get my thoughts out on this
