The Prince of Wales will travel to Cape Town, South Africa on Monday, 4 November, for the fourth annual Earthshot Prize ceremony. His visit will last four days, covering the following engagements -

His visit starts with an event with young environmentalists from across Africa and South East Asia taking part in the inaugural Earthshot Prize Climate Leaders Youth Programme.

He will have an audience with South Africa's president, Cyril Ramaphosa as a followup to the 2022 South African State Visit. The two men will sit down for talks and be joined by Foreign Secretary David Lammy, in the country for a meeting with his South African counterpart Ronald Lamola.

He will also be part in some rugby & attending a United for Wildlife summit.

Prince William will also deliver two speeches and meet more than 100 young environmentalists, park rangers, conservationists, and fishermen. 

Additionally, he will join sea rescue volunteers on the water & enjoy the local cuisine at a traditional fish braai in Kalk Bay Harbour.

The highlight of the trip will be the Earthshot Prize ceremony, held in a custom-built eco-dome powered by renewable energy, where Prince William will announce the latest prize winners.

1965 - Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip Jacqueline Kennedy and her children Caroline and John Jr. inaugurate the memorial to the late US President John F. Kennedy in Runnymede, England. Runnymede was the location of the legendary tales of King Arthur and Camelot. The legendary tales were often used to describe the JFK presidency.

2005 - Prince Charles and Maria Kennedy Shriver, niece of John F. Kennedy in the gardens of the California Governors Mansion, her now former husband Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

2022 - Prince William meets Caroline Kennedy, US Ambassador to Australia and her children Jack and Tatiana Schlossberg in Boston for Williams Earthshot Prize Award, which is inspired by JFKs Moonshot.

Regarding the timing of the tour, I think it’s more simple than any sort of conspiracy. I just don’t think they had the control over when they could come. I think they were invited and likely given 2 options on when the tour took place. Meghan didn’t deny the November time frame because she still really wants the royal connection.

They have to take what they can get at this point. Do I think they have something planned for November? No. Do I think they wish they had something planned for November? Yes. Do I think Meghan will try and launch some half baked idea that completely misses the mark just so she can compete with Earthshot? Absolutely.

Probably.

I said yesterday that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior, and past behavior tells us we can expect Sussex shenanigans to overlap with the royal calendar - that's September (when the royals come back from summer holidays), October (foreign tours), November (tours and Remembrance Day), and December (Diplomatic Reception and the holidays/Christmas).

Here's what I think we can reasonably expect during this time:

A big content-focused initiative - either something like a magazine feature (eg the Time 100 cover/2021 or The Cut/2022) or an actual content production (eg Archetypes/2022 or Netflix/2022).

Something military involving Invictus Games (eg Dusseldorf IG/2023) or invoking Remembrance Day/Veterans Day (eg the cemetery pap walk/2020, Meghan's poppy conference appearance/2021, the Intrepid event/2021)

Royal Court of Montecito - royal-like Christmas card or some kind of black-tie event with a red carpet

An award - either receiving an award or being announced to receive an award.

I don't think we'll see them do another "official" tour like this for the rest of the year, primarily because I think Meghan will be hustling for merch to wear at Vancouver IG.

I'm 50/50 on whether they'll get involved with the presidential campaign. Meghan leaked, a while ago, that she's available and wants to be involved but I don't know if it'll come to pass. The Democrat establishment doesn't want anything to do with her and after the way their GOTV commercial was universally panned globally for the 2020 election, I don't know that Meghan would want to do another one...but she's certainly delulu enough to try.

Had to repost this after Rachel wore her faux topaz at the 'Puddles of Hope Awards' because Catherine wore Diana's $15 million emerald choker at Earthshot...

YES, IT'S FAKE!!

Enough with people claiming that Mrs. 6 has Diana's aquamarine ring. Open your eyes, the ring that she claims is Diana's is clearly not the same ring.

Diana's ring is an estimated 30 carat emerald cut, rectangle-shaped aquamarine flanked by small, solitaire princess cut, square-shaped diamonds on either side in a streamlined modern channel setting with a 24 kt yellow gold setting. She commissioned the ring from Asprey to match her existing aquamarine bracelet which was a gift from the Royal family.

Mrs. 6's ring has a square-shaped main stone, the side stones are neither princess cut nor channel set, the ring setting is not yellow gold and I believe the color of the main stone is too vibrant to be aquamarine.

Aquamarine has the colour of light blue to blue-green and the colour fades in sunlight. Topaz is much more vibrant and the colour of topaz never fades.

We see no fade in color in the pictures of Mrs. 6's ring either in the pictures from the wedding reception or in the pictures from the Tonga tour in Oct. 2018.

Would you explain to me -- as if I'm five -- what is the importance of the fourteen pantsuits worn by Kate last year? I, too, noticed the change in her wardrobe -- looser fit, more pants rather than her signature flowing dresses, etc. I'm just not clear on what you think the pantsuits mean and am interested in your thoughts.

I don't know that I can explain it to you as if you were five, but Will & Kate aren't as professional as the press portrays and their die-hard fans like to believe they are.

William suddenly lost his private secretary, Jean-Christophe Gray, at the same time Kate was doing her pantsuit streak.

If The Times was reporting that JCG was leaving on 08 October 2023, then that means he must have put in his resignation weeks prior. Things move slowly at the palaces. JCG decided to move on from working with William either before (such as late August) or near the beginning of Kate's pantsuit streak in September 2023.

The inconsistencies in Will & Kate's behavior during this time frame in September 2023 were always pretty easy to see. They spent more than 48 hours away from their kids in November/December 2022 when they went to Boston for the second Earthshot Prize awards, but yet--BUT YET--they could not travel together to France for the Rugby World Cup. France is a lot closer to the UK than Boston, Massachusetts, is.

The environmental posturing of William is completely hollow. Private jets for me, not for thee. And the perfect mother act of Kate is going to come under a serious review by the public. Very, very soon.

Because the pantsuit streak was a stunt.

Pure and simple.

It was a pure distraction from something else going on with Will & Kate at the time. Something Jean-Christophe Gray likely did not want to be a part of, when he decided he was jumping ship. Something that caused Kate to want to be seen as a "serious" royal who cared about her work, which is why Kate was being portrayed as "keen to do more" in late August 2023.

After her daughter Brodie's death by suicide in 2020, Emma Webb launched a suicide prevention campaign. Brodie was a talented equestrian, which is what inspired @thewebstermwebb’s challenge pulling a life-size resin horse 160 miles from Chepstow to London.

Sarah Goldson has directed the @Wimbledon Ball Boy and Girl training since the 2012 Championships. The training helps develop life skills among young people, with 280 BBGs selected from local schools.

Vaitea Cowan is a co-founder of @Enapter, a company aiming to account for 10% of the world's green hydrogen by 2050. Enapter won the Fix Our Climate category at the 2021 Earthshot Prize and continues to thrive.

Bianca Sakol is the founder and CEO of @Sebbys_Corner, a shop-style baby bank which believes no child should go without the basic essentials they need to thrive. They provide a warm, welcoming environment and gives families choice and dignity to choose the items they need.

Mother and daughter, Jennifer and Emilia Clarke, were awarded MBEs for their brain injury charity work. They are co-founders of @SameYouOrg, a charity which develops better mental health recovery treatment for survivors and raises awareness around rehabilitation.

Dr. Gubby Ayida has been the CEO of @EvelinaLondon since May 2023 and oversaw its opening of the new Children’s Day Surgery Unit last year.

In 2024, @hmsoardacious will be represented by Team Valkyrie, the first all-serving women's military team to row across the Atlantic. The @toughestrow challenge raises money for military charities and organisations that support veterans and their families.
