Now that the calendar is over I want to wrap things up with some thoughts and facts about of what have been and what is coming.

The calendar

In this calendar I've written about 24 series that have meant something to me through my life. There are other series I might actually like more than some of them today, but they've all changed how I see things or how I feel about a certain subject. I started of with M*A*S*H, which will always be my all time favourite and which came into my life early. I ended with Julie and the Phantoms, which just recently came into my life and about which I still have a lot to learn. Some posts almost wrote themselves, while others needed some rewatches and reminiscing.

The list for 2024

I stream A LOT of media, and mostly series, some weeks up to 40 hours. This because I usually have something on in the background, it makes me focus even better. I work from home about half the time and the TV is always on, on these days. But it's normaly rewatches and comfort series and I have a hard time starting new ones. So, to help with this, my goal for 2024 is to complete a list of series I want to watch, but haven't dealt with yet. I might not complete them all if I don't like them, but the goal is to start them all.

11/18 哥本哈根成功用晴天挽回我的心、走在介紹遇到L和他男友、和L坐在奶茶店聊天（他還請我半杯飲料）、晚上在青旅和喝醉的挪威人下西洋棋

11/19 自己一個搭飛機到巴黎、坐夜巴、一個好心的黑人阿嬤帶我找到地鐵（原本還很擔心她是不是壞人）

11/20 自己一個人逛巴黎（羅浮宮）、逛完以後買了春陽茶室（超級好喝）跟吃了可麗餅（非常厲害！！）、走路經過聖母院（旁邊就是塞納河）、去了聖徒禮拜堂以及巴黎古監獄、出來之後下雨了、走莎士比亞書店買帆布袋、晚上晃去中式餐廳打包

結論：巴黎好像也沒有想像中危險

11/21 一個人逛奧賽（歐洲最愛的美術館、逛了六小時配導覽超滿足）、晚上和他們會合看了點燈的巴黎鐵塔

11/22 蒙馬特晴天超美、羅丹

11/23 橘園略失望、畢卡索美術館沒太多作品、龐畢度沒逛完、晚上住一個女生的沙發（在去的公車上遇到怪阿伯

11/24 自己一個人一大早從巴黎郊區去戴高樂、機場人員好有趣看到我拿居留證就跟我you don’t need that Taiwan have passport to go to everywhere 、晚上在超市看到一個超級無敵帥的帥哥

11/25 和香港室友一起去買褲子跟逛聖誕市集、第一次看到極光（在宿舍煮飯煮到一半出去陽台就看到了！）、晚上去結冰的松恩湖看極光 超級大還有紅紫色的

11/26 在奧斯陸的小島上看到狐狸（超級有靈性⋯⋯）

11/27 Tromso D1、在飛機上就被粉色的天空和雪山嚇到）下飛機直接驚呼、粉色的世界和顏色異常美麗的海面、很快就天黑了（極夜）、���了好吃餐廳、走北極大橋和一段很冷的山坡、晚上搭纜車上山+爬一點點雪山（🥵有個很像鳥居的桿子配上月光非常神聖）、人生最冷但也最美的一天

11/28 出發找鯨魚看到大片雪山（上面還有月亮），看到虎鯨群和座頭鯨（太奇妙了⋯⋯好想哭）、更冷了（-13度）

11/29 Tromso第三天看到湖、山、海、天空，一邊日出一邊日落的景色真的魔幻到不行、結冰的湖上吃好吃洋芋片和弄雪天使、後面的雪山和月亮和粉色月亮是我這輩子見過最美的景色、後來去到海邊、一望無際無比美麗（但好冷）、買了最北邊的飲料、有悠哉哉結果回程差點趕不上飛機（一路上如果有任何環節出差錯就完了

12/2 去I的小木屋、在結冰的湖上喝熱可可、煮韓式火鍋和🧋、晚上躺在-13度的湖上看星星（星星超級無敵多⋯⋯天空好大世界好大 超感動⋯）

12/6 一早終於交出期末報告、晚上搭飛機去克拉科夫、下雪❄️

12/7 早上錯過集中營的火車（幸好後來售票人員好心幫我們換導覽時間）、大雪中的集中營一場淒涼哀傷帶入感超級強、晚上去聖誕市集溜冰（來歐洲第一次⛸️！！我意外的很快就上手雖然溜的不快）

12/8 吃了超級厲害的早午餐（帕尼尼）、教堂和紡織會館很美（買了手套）、經過一家酷書店買了小小書、去看了一個博物館裡面有西概封面喔、晚上逛街

12/9 吃超級飽的早午餐、去了瓦維爾城堡（整區超級大），在遊客中心前面歐洲第一滑倒（P還說有個帥哥來關心我可惜我囧到無視了），教堂美到不行爬鐘樓也好有趣（是我目前最愛的歐洲教堂）、結束之後去看了當代（蠻酷的）、然後買下長羽絨跟雪靴

12/10 早上去辛德勒博物館、結束之後去紡織會館二樓看畫（意外的很厲害）、在很好吃的聖誕市集買了超巨肉串（但燒焦）、接著坐計程車（因為我們又錯過車^^）去維利奇卡鹽礦，裡面超級像魔戒的（最深有到130公尺喔！）、回市區吃了好吃義大利麵、晚上自己去逛聖誕市集和吃一間酷咖

12/11 早餐去酷店吃早午餐、今天都在猶太區晃、自己跑去另一家咖吃蛋糕、看了猶太隔離區的牆、晚上飛機延誤了兩個多小時、最後一次飛��奧斯陸

波蘭行結論：真的是寶藏城市（帥哥也不少ㄛ

12/12 錯過北一120年校慶了嗚嗚嗚、今天都沒出門 在宿舍煮飯洗衣

12/13 要離開奧斯陸前的最後一個禮拜和第一個禮拜一樣，生了場來勢洶洶的病、下午去Ingrid家做聖誕餅乾，還一起玩了牌（甚至是大老二、離別有點感傷，因為是最後一次了

12/17 最後一次去松恩湖、和香港鄰居一起溜冰（我有溜起來而且沒有滑倒ㄛ

12/18 和香港朋一起還冰鞋

12/19 昨天收行李收到早上才睡一小時、11:00要真正地離開奧斯陸了、到赫爾辛基！、晚上的時候見到林涵

12/20 為了行李來來回回幸好最後有成功、人生第一次搭臥鋪列車

12/21 聖誕老人村坐哈士奇雪橇（好玩！）但老人村本身很無聊

12/22 在羅瓦涅米市區逛

12/23 吃麥當勞（曾經的最北的）

12/24 淚灑維也納火車站

12/25 自己逛維也納、好冷

12/26 從維也納去布拉格，自己搭了Uber、在火車上根本大型路障、到青旅的時候發現住宿時間訂錯訂成一月差點嚇哭（幸好有換成功還免費、但德勒斯登的就要加錢）、布拉格第一天喝了一杯台幣100初的珍奶以及吃宮保雞丁

12/27 早上去郵政總局寄掉15公斤行李（過程超狼狽）、下午和J一起逛市區、聖誕市集肉串好吃、在查理大橋上巧遇在柏林工作的C一起走了一陣、晚餐吃豬肘

12/28 待到11.才退房、去了很廢的穆夏博物館、一個人坐車到德勒斯登

12/29 自己逛德勒斯登、在美術館遇到氣質帥哥、在聖誕市集被中國男路上搭話、晚上誤入聖母大教堂管風琴表演（有唱詩班）、吃了台灣料理還外帶便當跟珍奶好爽

12/30 5.起床搭車去柏林、第一次出去玩還煮飯洗衣、晚餐跟芬蘭行的X吃中式餐（第一次在國外認真吃合菜！）、第一次在國外失去網路還大迷路（最後跟路人借網路才成功回家⋯⋯

12/31 第一次跟跟認識的台灣人在柏林跨年（但好可怕）、夜不歸宿、又一次網路壞掉

1/1 第一次出去玩結果睡了幾乎一整天

1/2 猶太人博物館、舊國家美術館、和布拉格認識的女生C一起吃晚餐

1/3 和C約去愛樂但撲空、下午逛了恐怖地形圖、晚上和C吃韓式

1/4 一大早趕去中央車站搭車前往漢堡、又地鐵50分鐘才到宿舍、在火車站被怪男纏住強制幫忙嚇死、��鑰匙的女生陪我出門、去漢堡美術館看到很多厲害的畫

1/5 睡到V下午來才出門、去了港口邊和隧道覺得超級適合玩生存遊戲、晚餐吃了酷長堡（？

1/6 漢堡下大雪（很討厭的那種細雪）、中午後才出門、去了易北愛樂看風景（都是白茫茫一片，雪在跳舞！）（搭電梯上去那一段很像仿生世界？）、在路上亂晃風雪真的好大、去了二戰被炸毀過的教堂，搭很高的電梯（教堂在大學中好適合古代遺跡那種影戲？？）、晚餐和高中同學Y一起吃韓式料理（炸雞好吃）

1/7 從漢堡搭火車到阿姆斯特丹（雪地超級難拖）、火車擠到不行我甚至沒辦法去到我的座位（最後被塞到家庭包廂超尷尬）、出車站看到完美的日落（阿姆斯特丹是大晴天！！）、晚餐吃了港式燒臘

1/8 早上去了梵谷博物館、中間在市集晃但超冷（買了一杯不好喝的珍奶）、晚上去安妮之家（買了博物館卡貴死）

1/9 早上發現天氣超級好於是頂著冷風在市區拍照、又喝一杯珍奶才去國立博物館、看完出來後天氣依舊超級讚、吃了個熱狗堡、晚餐去吃歐姆蛋和小鬆餅、青旅來了兩個中國女生

1/10 臨時決定去羊角村因為今天天氣超級好、但坐火車的時候各種波折（第一趟搭一半被趕下車，後來要轉的車又被取消）、羊角村淡季沒什麼人然後運河都結冰了！、路上遇到的印度大叔請我和另一個台灣女生午餐和晚餐（後面一起玩）、晚餐吃泰式、一整天都好冷、晚上要回青旅的時候還發現渡船碼頭壞掉：）只好多走半個多小時

1/11 去了攝影博物館和朗伯特之家（都偏無聊）、天氣陰陰的而且沒有風大麻味很重、晚餐和昨天認識的台灣女生約荷蘭料理（店員超有趣哈哈哈）

1/12 從阿姆斯特丹坐火車到海牙、海牙乾淨多了、一開始電車還坐錯、下午吃了拉麵、晚餐吃泡麵

1/13 去看珍珠耳環少女（但博物館好小）、然後逛街、晚餐煮辛拉麵

1/14 鹿特丹一日遊、天氣好差沒去小孩提防

1/15 從海牙坐flixbus到布魯塞爾（車子晃到很想吐）、沿途荷蘭跟比利時都下大雪

1/20 結束一個人獨旅和媽媽在法蘭克福會合、去到紐倫堡、晚上聽了歌劇但只聽一半

1/21 羅騰堡一日遊、爬城牆好好玩、廣場看到一隻肥貓

1/22 從紐倫堡坐火車到慕尼黑、去了慕尼黑王宮、晚上突然怪風+下雨、晚餐吃了超級好吃的豬肘！厲害了！！

E: Wassup people, welcome to a new episode of the Gossip Guy podcast. My name is Ender Scholtens and today I’m here with Willem De Schryver. Everything ok?

W: Sure sure (In Dutch sure is used as a confirmation to a question).

E: Is this your first podcast?

W: Yes, this is my first podcast.

E: Stress?

W: No, it will be fine, right? Relaxed.

E: I don’t know… (laughing). For the people who don’t recognize you, from where could they know you?

W: Hmmm, probably from the youth series WTFOCK where, in the third season, I play the role of Sander.

E: And we are allowed to talk about it in this podcast.

W: Yeah I also heard that. Yes, it’s over.

E: Was it a difficult chapter of your life to close?

W: Yes, I still clearly remember the last moment… Like really the last last scene at the sea… That was an emotional moment because you went through a lot as a group, you did a lot together, and emotional scenes, intimate scenes. But yes, I think, if I speak for the whole group that it was a goodbye to the series but not a goodbye from each other. We still keep in contact. Mainly through WhatsApp.

E: Yeah, the end of the series was beautiful. I sat next to my girlfriend when it just came online. Because there were a few scenes that we hadn’t seen yet and we were just watching them… And we refreshed and the last episode was online… The last piece was online… So, I thought… I really cried… It caused quite some emotions.

W: For many people… Also under the cast and even the extras that were present for that last scene… Even among them. I can remember that they got emotional because it really was over over. I think that we, WTFOCK, have been able to impact a lot of young people in Belgium. So, it’s beautiful… We closed it beautifully…

E: I don’t doubt that. I really liked the end. What is your favorite memory from your whole WTFOCK experience?

W: Hoh, hmmm. Do I have to choose one? Difficult to choose one… I think that the most enjoyable moments… At the end of each series… Almost… We were at the sea or in the Ardennes, as a group, for a vacation. Away together. And those moments… Away with the whole cast and crew… Being away for a whole weekend. And in the evening, talking late into the night and that creates a special connection and I think that, in general, was the most enjoyable… Yes, it affects me… You share, as a young person, a common dream or something we want to realize as an actor to succeed and everyone who works so hard for that… That’s nice to see.

E: I recently talked to Veerle and I know that if she sees Nora, like somewhere, say at a party… Then they stay together for the whole evening… Do you have that? With who did you have the best connection throughout that whole experience?

W: Yes…

E: That doesn’t mean that the rest is not chill or so…

W: No the rest is all stupid… There’s only one person… I hate you all! (joking) No! Yes, hmmm, I think that I definitely have the best connection with Willem. Just because we have been through a lot… I always compare the WTFOCK crew a bit to my own friend group, aside from the cast. I mean, I know to whom I can go for what. I know I can go to some if I feel sad, to talk and I know who I can go to to have a laugh. And who I can go to to have a general chat. And everyone has their qualities or like their own aura around them… Where I love to hang around. So, it differs from person to person. So, it’s hard to choose one person but Willem then in the sense that, if you jump naked together in a swimming pool and if you have intimate scenes together… That creates a connection, of course. So, yes, if I have to choose one person…

Summary:Isak (29) eier en liten nærbutikk (arvet av sin morfar), lokalisert i et lite tettsted 20 minutter sør for Kristiansand.

Even (31) har nettopp forlatt et turbulent liv i Oslo og flyttet inn et lite hus i nærheten av der Isak jobber og bor. Et hus han har arvet etter en ukjent grandtante.

Isak (16) har erkjent for seg selv at han liker gutter, men det er ingen som vet om akkurat det. Even (18), ny på Nissen, er åpent panseksuell og bipolar. Isak oppdager Even og forelsker seg umiddelbart. En brutal situasjon fører til deres første møte. På fest like etterpå kysser de for første gang og reisen ut av skapet har startet for Isak - heldigvis med Even ved sin side.

“What?” Even sounds seriously surprised. His hand is still on Isak’s knee and his hand feels just as heavy.

“Eh- did I say that out loud?” Isak says with a voice barely audible.

“You did,” Even replies, voice equally low.

Isak (23) hooks up with Even (25) at a party where they both are forced to be at.

All my fics have a happy ending. EVAK is always endgame in my fics.

I do, but not that often. I have a hard time writing it. It’s like one sentence per 15 minutes or so. Haha. But there is a few E rated smut fics and some fics with a little smut inside.

Not that I know of.

Nope.

13. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

My only WIP on AO3: Boys of Summer would be nice to finish.

I have no skill in limiting myself wordwise. I use too many words to say something that surely can be said with a lot fewer words. 

16. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I prefer the dialogue to be in the same language as the rest of the fic.

From 22 September to 27 October this year, a new, Norwegian horror film will be shot in Røros.

“We want to use as many local assets as possible and in that way give back a little,” says director, producer and screenwriter Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken.

Filmmaker Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken is the man behind feature films such as "En affære" and "Gledelig jul”, the latter written by Erlend Loe and will be shown in Norwegian cinemas from October.

“The horror film that we are recording in Røros this autumn is the seventh film I have written. It is about the dark forces that arose in a mining society in 1918, about faith and doubt, and about the struggle between good and evil in humans,” Dahlsbakken explains.

Haunted by evil

The film, which so far goes under the working title ‘Possession’, is in short about a pastor and his son who return home from Madagascar and start a congregation in an imaginary mining community. When the pastor chooses to build a church on an old Sami cemetery, things start to happen.

“The pastor chooses to remove the remains from the Sami cemetery, and this is what sets in motion a series of ominous events. The small community gets haunted by something they think is something evil,” he explains.

Concerned about Sami history

Dahlsbakken says that he wanted to bring the Sami theme into the story since he’s always been fascinated by stories where the white man tramples over indigenous people.

“The way the Sami population has been treated through the ages is a stain on Norwegian history,” he says.

Of the actors who participate, we find, among others, Jan Sælid, Dennis Storhøi, Tarjei Sandvik Moe, known from the NRK series Skam and “En affære”, and from Trøndelag Theater; Øyvind Brandtzæg and Ragne Grande.

Creates jobs for a period of time

The mining scenes are mostly filmed on Storwartz, but in the film it isn’t depicting a specific place.

“The Røros Museum is content that it will not depict Storwartz, because otherwise you start to twist the story, and that is not good. That is why we have invented an ”imaginary mining community’.”

“None of the scenes will be filmed from the center of Røros,” says Dahlsbakken, and adds that they have received great help from the Røros Museum and Odd Sletten.

“We are also very lucky to have received help from Rulle Smit. She has been incredibly important to us,” he says, and adds that the production is completely dependent on rørosingar to land the project.

“We want to use local labor, both because the locals have a unique knowledge that we don’t have, but also because we will create some jobs here for a period.”

A carpenter, a painter and a floor sander

The production is looking for craftsmen with free time, like pensioners. For example, construction work will be built for a small church and they want to hire a crew for this.

“We need several practical people. Someone who can carpent, paint with linseed oil paint and perform that kind of craft. We also need someone who can take on the task of sanding a floor.”

“And if there are make-up artists and hair stylists who have knowledge of hair from the time period, that’s interesting too,” says production manager Wencke Hovet.

Want period items

Dahlsbakken says he is very concerned that the film should be one hundred percent credible.

“Therefore, we are looking for someone who knows about old things from the beginning of the 20th century or earlier. If any locals have these kinds of objects, we are very interested in borrowing or renting them.”

Needs infection control officer

The production team also needs a legal person who can act as infection control manager.

“It is desirable that this person has a background in health care. Infection control assistants may also be needed on days when there are many extras on the set. These assistants do not need a health professional background,” says the production manager.

The big potato

“We also need a very big potato, namely a production assistant. This person must be available between September 21 to October 23. Beyond that, he or she must be on the set every day, own a driver's license and be happy to work hard, carry things and assist where needed,” says Dahlsbakken and smiles.
