CW: paranoia, gore, anxiety?

''So you tellin' me you see that big boy with the skullface and you're not gonna start sweatin'? You won't see him. It's too late if you see him, you're fuckin' dead already.'' Your colleague's words played over and over in your head like a fucking broken record, thinking back on what you could have done differently to avoid him getting shot in the head in the middle of your conversation.

''Fuckin' hell.'' You mutter softly. Shaky, gloved hands pick off the pieces of brain stuck to your hair, trying your best not to gag at the sensation of the cold, dead tissue. You saw him. You saw him and you knew it was too late, even when you managed to run away and seek shelter in an abandoned house, he was coming for you.

One by one, less shadows are reporting on comms, dying alongside your hope. You bite your lip as tears threaten to slip, your fist slamming against the wall as you let out a frustrated groan, avoiding looking down at your uniform, covered in the blood of your former brothers in arms.

You flinch when you hear the familiar sound of wet, dirty boots sneaking up on you. You get your gun ready, finger on the trigger despite knowing you don't stand a chance. The light in the room flickers and you close your eyes, heart pounding so loud in your head you don't even register the swift steps behind you until it's too late.

''You afraid o' the dark?'' A british accent whispers from behind you, one gloved hand covering your mouth while the other one holds a bloody knife against your throat. Ghost became judge, jury, and executioner.

I think after getting his death note and meeting skullface Mikey would absolutely give them pizza (if ryuk acts like that bc of apples imagine how a shinigami would act w pizza. :]). Like ryuk, skullface dropped a death note to earth because they were bored and wanted an excuse to get away from the shinigami realm, of course this causes Mikey to become the fourth Kira; which inadvertently causes the timeline to change enough that instead of the "whole dying after light gets his memory back" thing, L and light (along with the rest of the task force but that’s not as important) go to nyc to find the fourth Kira. I’m sure you can guess how much light would be SEETHING that L isn’t dead yet

Anyways skullface does genuinely care about Mikey. Later in the timeline where Mikey turns themselves in to keep their brothers safe (yknow. From the government), rem is about to kill L for pretty much the same reasons as canon but skullface chases after her and stops her since L dying could cause Mikey’s brothers to be in harms way (Mikey’s condition for cooperation with L and the rest of the task force is that no one will hunt for his brothers, and L is more or less needed in order for that to happen). I’d probably put Mikey and skullfaces dynamic in the middle of the spectrum of ryuk n light and rem n misa, they’re besties!!

I can't take it. I can't fucking take it. I need Skullface RIGHT. FUCKING. NOW. Before Bloody Ties even came out, who I can only assume was God, or maybe even Skullface himself spoke to me in a dream. Ever since then I have slaved away saving money for DLC. I've lost my job, failed all of my classes, and ruined all of my relationships all because Skullface told me to. Now there's only 4 days left and I can't take it any longer. Why can't Dying Ligjt 2  just add him right fucking now? What if I die tomorrow? What if my house burns down? What if my CPU dies? I don't think I could live knowing that I couldn't get the big tiddy skull carnage champion the infinitesimal interval of time he comes out. I lay awake waiting on the steam Dying Light page counting the seconds until that fucking bitch Aiden leaves and makes way for the only character that actually matters in this godforsaken game. NPC Rangers and Shadow Company are amazed by Soap and scared shitless of Ghost for good reason. Which got me thinking, how do Graves and his soldiers think of Jade and vice versa, before and after the betrayal.

INTERESTING THOUGHT ANON (★ω★)

When Jade got contacted by Laswell to aid Soap, Ghost, and Alejandro in apprehending Hassan, Graves and SC sees her as a unicorn. I mean, let's be real : a short, red haired, chick from MI6 who's a multilingual and can handle herself like a badass -- Jade stands out.

Initially yeah, the SC would kinda underestimate Jade, cuz she's not a soldier but an agent. However, when they saw what she's capable of and see how she does in battle, they might find themselves kinda in awe of her.

Now when Alejandro, Ghost, Soap, and Jade got betrayed though, things get real. SC now have to find the deadliest SAS operator, a dangerous and skillful SAS sergeant, and an ex-black agent of MI6 without dying. They have a reason to worry about them.

Some dialogues that I tinkered 👀 :

Shadow 3-1 : So you're telling me you see that big boy with the skullface and you're not gonna start sweatin'?

Shadow 3-2 : I'm not gonna see him.

Shadow 3-1 : You're right, you won't see him. It's too late if you see him. You're fuckin' dead already.

Shadow 3-2 : Finding the chick should be easier.

Shadow 3-1 : You seen what she did? One of our guys got stabbed in the ear and under the jaw. She's fucking ruthless.

Shadow 3-2 : Fuck...

Shadow 3-1 : That shorty's hella light on her feet too. If you don't wanna die, keep your damn eyes open.

Now, about what Jade thinks of Graves and SC is probably simillar to the other boys. They're reinforcement team. Unlike the boys.

Jade was not the work-as-a-team type. So when she finally got Alejandro, Ghost, and Soap as friends she can trust and rely on, Jade cherishes them so.

After the betrayal though... just get ready for a bloodbath.
