Thud. A hollow noise would echo out as Frederick had finished skewering what looked to have been an attacker upon entering new parts. Thankfully his reflexes hadn’t dulled over the time, so one carefully placed thrust with his spear was more than enough to end its life. Giving the blade of his spear a quick wipe off to prevent rusting and of course, a build up of smells would he keep it ready still as he looked at his surroundings--or at least attempted to given how dark it was.

[ ↺ } Of all locations Morgan had to have been thus far, this one was by far the most unsettling and the one he wished to leave from immediately. At first glance, the almost charred and burned remains of what looked like some kind of lab told him that something rather big happened here. Had that been all maybe his curiosity could be sated by exploring a bit more, but the humming growl warned him he wasn’t alone as he chose to stay still where he stood, frozen in fear at what could be around any potential corner.
Tumblr media
“ I might.. just have.. to run for it..! “ He told himself in a quiet whisper, trying not to alert anything else here.

Besides the light shimmering from the portal between worlds, it was dark. Luckily for Neo, the dark didn’t scare her. Neither did the distant echoing growls of creatures hidden in the shadows that she could not see nor had any interest in seeing. It was easy for her to conceal herself against the cloak of pressing shadows, hiding within an illusion that would allow her to roam the darkness undetected with a sweep of her parasol around her. It was a strange world she had found herself stumbling into, even Neo had to admit. Never before had she encountered such a place that seemed to strangled by darkness and danger. ..and she loved it.
Reminded her of home actually ~
Tumblr media
Stopping with an echoing click of her heels, Neo glanced around through the gloom as the growls and caterwauls echoed into the distance enough to ensure her safety. She couldn’t just allow herself to be attacked by unseen creatures that could surely rip her to shreds. Grim? They were easy because she knew them. But the aura user wouldn’t drop her defenses completely. Not yet. The illusion she’d placed around herself though shimmered through the darkness, unveiling her to the shadowed world while she reached into her pocket to retrieve her scroll. Once the device was in hand she tapped its screen and held it up in the darkness, using it to scan the area with an impressed hum. The chasm seemed to extend on and on to which Neo saw no end.
It was perfectly secluded. ..a perfect hide away for an on the run criminal.

Eyes narrow, for this one smells odd. She knows no other word for it, for she’s never encountered anything quite like it, but in the absence of any others, she supposes he’ll have to do. Those strange portals...how irritating it is that there’s no way to know where she’s headed.
“Excuse me, sir? Could you tell me where I am?”

The girl did not like the looks of this area. The walls were torn and run down. Worst than the hallways of Beast’s Castle. Here the monsters were not Heartless. No, they were far more sinister and the girl had to fight with all her strength not to get overrun with them. Her keyblade was out, heavy breaths left her lips.
She had lost herself in the corridors and now desperately wanted to get back. But with every turn she made when trying to retrace her steps, she just found more and more beasts. Finally, after so much fighting, the girl let out a cry in frustration. She just wanted to get out of this nightmare.
She ran and ran, wasting her energy by casting blizzard at all the enemies. It wasn’t until she saw another person at the end of the hallway. She stopped, blade up and ready to attack. She didn’t say anything but her jagged breaths proved just how tired she was.

Ein was hunting.  They’d received word that a large group of demons had begun making their way to Elendia.  No doubt they had sensed the disturbance that had occurred and were hoping to find something they could use on the other side of that portal.
And so he stood alone, simply waiting for their arrival.  He wore no fear for he had fought much worse before.  This sort of thing would be challenging for him alone, but he was a Grim Angel.  No demon had ever managed to best him before and that would not change.  With Hector and the Accursed gone, the demons seemed weaker somehow, as though they were being supplied power by those five beings in an effort to stop Ein’s advance.
It had only sharpened his abilities further.  Which was why it was so easy for him to notice that he wasn’t alone.
Tumblr media
He wondered if they were a friend or a foe.  They certainly felt strange.  Maybe someone had come through the portal?
“Hey.  I just want you to know that there’s going to be a hoard of demons coming through here soon.  You should probably head to safe ground,” He called out to the figure he could not see but knew was there.

The night was normally a reserved period for rest and comfort. It was for humans and even monsters to rejuvenate their weary bones and rise with the sun when day breaks. But for a spirit like herself who needed rest only as a luxury it was a time for thinking and starlit strolls. Nia Khera was quiet as she weaved between it’s dome shaped homes as it’s inhabitants had gone to sleep some time ago. The only sounds came from the running streams etched in the earth around the village and the few temperamental cattle that remained awake to graze more. Her thoughts drifted towards her more human companions currently divided among Rieze Maxia. The fondness she had for each of them naturally left her questioning their current well being and when they would all meet once again. Of course she knew it would be when the time was right and when they all had completed their own agendas.
The swordsman had paused in front of one of four small shrines that were placed around the village. Each housed a special artifact connecting to one of the four great spirits. This one in particular was Undine, the great spirit of water. Milla raised one gloved hand towards the candles that sat on the top of the wooden shrine to perform a spirit arte that would light them. The lesser spirits accepted and set the wax aflame so she could see the path a bit better but even Milla noticed there was a nervous sense about them.
Tumblr media
“I wonder...”
Something down the path was making the spirits uneasy and as such it was her duty to get to the bottom of it. Or perhaps it was also a touch of curiosity. If she could recall there was a stream a ways on the edge of the village where she had discovered an unusual portal of light a mere few days ago. Perhaps it could be that? However, when she made it to the end she found what was probably the cause of the lesser spirits grief. One human. In comparison to her he was quite tall and looming which might fright a small child if they happen to come across him in this dark hour. His clothes seemed to be mostly black and his hair the same and left long. It quickly came across her mind that this person oddly resembled King Gaius of Auj Oule. Perhaps the lesser spirits in Nia Khera hadn’t quite forgiven her former enemy but she’d make note to assess it later.
Being as straightforward as she was her steps continued until she stood across from the traveler on the opposite side of the stream.
“It’s unusual for people to be passing through here and at such a late hour.”

Metal Mystery
@dxrknocturne
Akita thought things couldn’t get weirder after visiting that last land, but apparently once again he was wrong. This room was dim and made of metal, and curious Akita knelt down, tapping at the strange metal floor with the sheath of his steel-self. “Maybe I am related to the floor and room here? Helloo?” He asked the floor innocently, wondering when it would take shape like him. He had never seen so much metal in his near 400 years, not that much of it was spent outside in general.
Hearing footsteps from a connected hallway, Akita drew his blade, small sword ready to defend himself in case Kebiishi or monsters were also here. Seeing a tall human-like figure instead, Akita lowered his steel-self, but didn’t sheath it just yet.
Tumblr media
“Are you this room, Master? Is all this metal the reason you’re so tall? Where am I, anyway?” He asked, bright eyes looking around, trying to find any details he might understand in his situation.

Hello mods! I don't want to be a bother, but I had a question. I noticed this a few days ago, and it's been almost a week since acceptance of my application, but D isn't on the masterlist, nor is his world on the registry. Is there anything else I need to do? Thank you in advance for your time.
so sorry about that! that pesky ‘save’ button on the blog customization screen will be given a stern talking to. it’s all been taken care of for you, and thank you so much for letting us know!

Frequent visits to a most peculiar sight have enabled the faultless conception of the seemingly sound conclusion that this mysterious gateway will not disintegrate anytime soon to transpire within the venturesome intellectual, but it is what lies beyond the gaping hole that she remains completely unaware of. Compelled by youthful inquisitiveness, she finds herself resolving to seek enlightenment by abandoning caution. It is this newfound pursuit of unfabricated truths that is to be held accountable for placing the teenage student 'fore her only means of accessing the unknown.
Before this thrilling journey can commence, however, an absolutely unfamiliar figure emerges from the very thing that has effortlessly captured her undivided attention. Feminine features immediately play host to a facial expression reading of unconcealed curiosity as almond irises familiarize themselves with the appearance of the lone traveler. Perhaps useful details can be retrieved before her departure from the bustling city. It is this initial thought that quickly leads to the release of a single query.

“What is this place...?” Never once has she ever come across something so unquestionably strange. Seiryuu's village might even be normal by comparison. Yona is someone who relies on words just as much as she does action but here, at this very moment, she finds there is nothing in her vocabulary to describe the world beyond this pillar.
Pulse rising ever so slightly, the thought crosses her mind that maybe she - no, she definitely shouldn’t be traveling so much without Hak. The absence of her bodyguard, of the four dragons, and of yoon does nothing to prevent her from tensing at the sound of movement. “Hello?” She calls tentatively. “Is someone there?”

✎ What do you wish the author would reveal/had revealed about your muse?
I think I’m lucky in the sense that Jordan (and by extension Sanderson) have both given me so much on Perrin already, I more or less know how to have him react in any given situation. He’s a well-rounded character whose various personality traits aren’t contradictory, as there is always a reason behind his feelings and actions.
Still, I would have loved to learn more about his childhood, or some of the relationships he had with his family and friends. What drove him to grow up into a young man who always held himself back because he thought he might hurt people? What sort of an older brother was he to Adora, Deselle and Paet? Why did he not find love with either Cilia or Laila? What sort of friendship did he have with Nynaeve? Or even Egwene, since he clearly taught her how to punch at some point? Are the Luhhans something like surrogate parents for him now? WHY WAS I DEPRIVED OF MORE PERRIN AND GAUL INTERACTIONS? More information on Wolfbrothers on a whole would have been awesome, too.
Just minor things, as you can see, haha. I’m more or less happy with what I’ve been given, though!

there seemed to be no redeeming motive behind this . why should his son seek to forgive him ? a monster that had ruined his mother’s life , of her compatriots , who had endeavored the attempt to enslave the world under his species . but , d deserved the truth and nothing but it . even if it would mean his son hating him more than he already did .
‘ i’ll leave if you want , but if you have questions , ask them . you deserve the truth . ‘
