Besides the light shimmering from the portal between worlds, it was dark. Luckily for Neo, the dark didn’t scare her. Neither did the distant echoing growls of creatures hidden in the shadows that she could not see nor had any interest in seeing. It was easy for her to conceal herself against the cloak of pressing shadows, hiding within an illusion that would allow her to roam the darkness undetected with a sweep of her parasol around her. It was a strange world she had found herself stumbling into, even Neo had to admit. Never before had she encountered such a place that seemed to strangled by darkness and danger. ..and she loved it. 

Reminded her of home actually ~

Stopping with an echoing click of her heels, Neo glanced around through the gloom as the growls and caterwauls echoed into the distance enough to ensure her safety. She couldn’t just allow herself to be attacked by unseen creatures that could surely rip her to shreds. Grim? They were easy because she knew them. But the aura user wouldn’t drop her defenses completely. Not yet. The illusion she’d placed around herself though shimmered through the darkness, unveiling her to the shadowed world while she reached into her pocket to retrieve her scroll. Once the device was in hand she tapped its screen and held it up in the darkness, using it to scan the area with an impressed hum. The chasm seemed to extend on and on to which Neo saw no end. 

It was perfectly secluded. ..a perfect hide away for an on the run criminal.

She was utterly lost.

Though that didn’t seem to really bother Neo much as she turned, twirling her parasol in her hands with a smirk when the wall behind her crumbled and rebuilt itself. A quiet hum escaped her lips as she made her way down the hall with only the click of her heels as any indication that she was even present in the dilapidated interior. When the beam of light had appeared in Vale, the criminal had been surprised, to say the least. Since the attack on Beacon Academy she had been on the run from the police and the armies of General Ironwood and it hadn’t been pleasant since losing Roman...

Her lips twitched into a nearly invisible frown as her fingers tightened on the neck of her umbrella. Red -- Ruby Rose -- she would surely pay for separating the two of them ...

Neo stopped, glancing around the empty manor halls with a click of her tongue, her pace halting as she glanced between a crossroads in the layout Straight or left .. .. It didn’t really seem to matter what way she went anyway. The walls moved all around her, getting her more lost by the moment. She had tried to escape out one of the windows to no avail. That had only landed her jumping back inside somehow. There didn’t seem to be any illusions that were causing such infurations and yet it didn’t feel like aura either. ...it couldn’t be real magic, could it?

If only there was someone who could help her find her way out of this big scary mansion .. !
