The fact Rogue didn't push the button while kissing the Doctor. It would have been so easy. In character for what the Doctor might expect even. He's the Rogue after all, the classic morally dubious role.

I think with that quiet 'no' the Doctor was expecting him, maybe even asking him, to take the decision out of their hands. To press it for them. Then they'd both have the fresh pain of losing someone and could go on to travel together.

But the Rogue isn't into cosplay, he isn't playing a character. So instead he puts the Doctor's happiness with Ruby above his own life, and above a life with the Doctor. He pushes Ruby out of the way, taking the controller with him so the Doctor still doesn't have to choose. That sad, cheeky, rogue-ish grin as he does it. Its just so unbearably sweet

A lovely friend of mine got my 10th Doctor illustration signed by David Tennant yesterday and also gave him a little gift I prepared! ✨️ She managed to record what he said, and I have listened to it nonstop since she sent it to me, haha. He's been my favourite person and actor for over a decade, and the fact that he's seen my art and likes it means the world to me!

The gift included most of my good omens prints, bookmarks, stickers and a personal letter. I hope he got the chance to look through them!

childhood best friend!wrio who moves to join you, his elbows leaning against the railing, because he cares more about looking at you. in the intimate silence between you both, with the sun setting, you ask him, "do you believe in soulmates?". you're almost scared to look at him as you ask, his cheeks flushed a slight pink from the wine. there's a softness to his eyes as he reaches for you, fingers tracing over your forearm, before pulling you in, cupping your face as his lips touch yours.

childhood best friend!wrio who checks for your reaction, thumb grazing across your cheek. you smile at him and he immediately smiles back, both of you leaning back into each other, your giggle still lingering on your lips as he pulls you closer again, and again.

Compared to Astro you’ve always been more chatty. He always love listening to you talk as you cuddle up together in his blanket. While you talk about either your latest interest, interactions or drama. Makes him happy and calm just to hear your voice. Trust me, if he could he’d go into your dreams just to talk to you, but sadly…he can’t really interact with you in your dreams, so the waking world does just fine. He could fall asleep to your voice it calms him down so much, he has multiple times. If you stop talking tho he wakes right back up and asks why you stopped!! He loves to lean on you while you talk. Especially if you’re cooking, it’s so comforting and just. So nice. I headcanon, that he’s always dreamed of having just a quiet life without worrying about all the main character stuff, and just being happy with the person he loves most, listing to your stories. Guess dreams can come true for a guy like him after all!

Moffat coming back after years to let the new Scottish doctor fully sing the Skye Boat Song and explain the real history and context behind it when so many people only know it as the outlander theme...oh I have missed the way he writes Scottish characters. I see your vision sir and I salute you!
