You weren’t in the habit letting strangers into your home. You knew the risks of that from living in such a violent town full of cowboys, miners, and outlaws in equal measure. But on that evening your family was hosting a party. So when a knock came from the front door, you thought nothing of it. The man who stood in front of you looked familiar enough to you. Perhaps a distant relative you only saw one or twice in your life, or someone who lived in the area that your family was cordial with.

He introduced himself as a Mr. ‘Dutch’ Van der Linde. He took your hand in his with two gold rings on his fingers. On his pinky a circular one with the face of a lion that had two small rubies for eyes. On his middle was a larger rectangular signet ring with a gold D in black enamel in a Gothic font. He pressed his thin and abnormally cool lips to your top palm. His facial hair tickled your flesh, a black and well groomed mustache and an unshaven patch just above his chin.

He gave an odd energy. It was alluring, yet your deepest instincts shivered. Despite it, you were drawn to him. He was an older gentleman, but not elderly. Somewhere in his 40s, if you had to guess. He was quite tall and slender, but something told you he held incredible strength if the circumstances called for it.. His black hair was long, swept behind his ears and reached down to his neck. It was mostly straight, except with thick and loose curls at the ends. His almond shaped and wide set eyes were also dark. In the mixture of night outside and the kerosene fed lighting inside, they almost glowed like amber. Even stranger, they were piercing. As he gazed at you, it felt like he was reading your very thoughts and it only further fascinated you. It kept you looking upon his angular face, with high cheekbones that had a noticeable mole on the right one and a large well shaped nose.

His fine clothing was also dark. He had on a black velvet, wide lapel frock coat that made his figure striking. The lining of it a deep red silk, in the pocket was a well folded handkerchief that corresponded with it. His vest was also velvet and red, with gold buttons and a matching single watch chain suspended from one of them. His pants were black, the usual cut that men wore though a bit tighter than what was normal, covering his black leather boots.

It was only a brief moment that felt like hours. You welcomed him in. When he stepped over the threshold you felt and icy breeze. You led him into the large parlor where everyone else was. You offered him a drink, but he refused. He excused himself by explaining he doesn’t partake in alcohol. He wasn’t much interested in the table of canapes either, but he did help himself to a cigar.

You excused yourself to allow Dutch to mingle with the other guests. It was difficult to do so, like something had possessed you to desire to only want his attention in return for yours. You didn’t stray far. As he wandered around and chatted, you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. You weren’t the only one, except in the eyes of your families and partygoers there was a glimmer of deep unease when they were near him.

It was a short time later he returned to you. He found you sitting quietly in the corner with a glass of wine. His warm smile and gentle gaze intoxicated you more than spirit you were sipping ever could. He leaned over you playfully, the shadow of his form enveloped you and made you dizzy. His voice was more stimulating than the music playing over the phonograph.

Dutch extended his hand to you, “Would you care to dance with me?”

“Of course!” You replied, exhilarated by the offer.

Standing up, the both of you went to an empty spot in the room. He quickly swept you close to him, resting one hand on your lower back and taking one of your hands into his ringed one. Like his lips, they were abnormally cold. His firm hold that made your heart race, to the point you couldn’t feel his at all. It was as if he took control of your body as you twirled almost inhumanly around the floor. The people around side eyed the two of you nervously, but you didn’t care. Nor did you have any concern when you caught a glimpse of yourself – and only yourself – in a large mirror on the wall. He seemed completely absent.

You spent the rest of the evening in his company until it became late into the night when people began to leave. You felt so high, so alive, it was almost unbearable to think of parting with him. If it had not been scandalous, you would have begged him to stay. As you saw him to the door, it felt like he could sense it.

“Don’t worry,” Dutch said soothingly, “I’m sure we will see each other again.”

You deeply hoped that would be true.

When you crawled into your bed after everything was cleaned up and settled, you couldn’t help but feel a little lonely. What manner of a man, this Dutch Van der Linde, made you long for him so? What about him made you want? To throw away all propriety? To risk your reputation? You felt like you were missing a part of you, withdrawing from the strongest drug.

You turned onto your side, taking one of your pillows and holding onto it. You pretended it was him. Lying beside you, holding you in his arms, speaking all those pretty little things he did during the party. His voice soothing you into sleep.

In between the realm of slumber and wakefulness you started to hear something strange at your window. At first you ignored it, thinking it was a lucid dream. It became more insistent and demanding. It sounded like tapping against the glass. You sat up, trying to figure out what it could be. It wasn’t a tree branch, the elms and oaks weren’t close enough to the house. It persisted until you finally got up to investigate. You pulled the curtains back, flooding yourself and the room in bright moonlight. You lifted the lower pane of you window and stuck your head out. You couldn’t see anything when you looked around, except a blanket of mist on the lawn.

It moved with an intelligence you had never seen, one that hypnotized you. It crawled along the grass and up the outer wall of the house. It poured through the window and surrounded you in a cold embrace you welcomed. It felt like someone was taking hold of your shoulders, gently but firmly guiding you backward to your bed.

You sat down and laid back obediently. In the mist, there were little flecks of dust. They whirled around in front of you, taking on a human shape as they danced quicker and gathered together. At first he was just a phantom, then materialized was the man who had become the object of your desire. It didn’t disturb your sense of soothing calm. You just stared at him with half closed eyes.

Dutch was sitting at the edge of your bed hovering over you. He looked just the same was earlier, except his eyes glowed more intensely and he changed his clothes to a brocaded black vest with a red back panel. The watch chain suspended from the button had a red gem suspended from it. He caressed your cheek with his fingertips. They then trailed down your face to the left side of your neck. The sensation was overwhelming, pleasurable and repulsive at the same time. You gasped, your head tilting over to give him better access to the delicate flesh. He leaned in closer until you could feel his breath on your skin, causing it to tickle in an unfamiliar way.

“Yes, yes, just relax…” Dutch whispered in your ear, opening the collar of your nightclothes and pulling it away from your body, “Don’t you worry. I only take what I need.”

His tongue darted out of his mouth. He pressed it against your shoulder and slowly dragged it along where your jugular vein was hidden beneath the surface. He stopped halfway when he found a particularly sensitive spot that made you groan under the pressure. He let out a low chuckle.

You could only pant when his lips latched onto that area of your neck, then the tips of two sharp eye teeth. Then you felt them pierce you. Your eyes widened as an unbearable and stinging pain tore through your body. It slowly dissipated, being replaced by a tranquillizingly warm numbness. You felt a hot wetness from the wounds he created, which he sucked and licked up with satisfied sighs.

He was drawing large amounts of blood, at least from your point of view. Even if you wanted to stop him, you couldn’t. The moment he bit you he controlled you. He owned you. He now knew every little thing about you. Your hopes, your fears. Your thoughts and desires. Your personality was bared before him as he drank.

Time seemed to slow. It felt like the entire night went by in your stupor, until he finally had his fill. He closed the wounds and lifted his head. You finally saw the face of a human man, a mask hiding the creature underneath. You could see the stains of your blood on his lips.

“You are a delight.” Dutch said, “I will make a visit to you again.”

He kissed your forehead and stood, leaving out of the window from where he came. You closed your heavy eyes. Weak and light headed, you fell into a deep and dreamless unconsciousness.

In the morning at breakfast your family noticed your paleness and how frail you seemed. They wanted to call for a doctor, which you refused. You would become strong again in time. When you did, you hoped Dutch would keep his promise.

He's always clapping people on the shoulder or patting them on the back. He's not afraid of showing affection as we see with the more tender parts with Molly and is pretty affectionate with Hosea as well. PDA seems to be okay within a certain extent. Everyone knows you're his partner. I think he would feel the situation out. If you seem like the type who likes hugs, I think he'd encourage that and do so as long as he was in the right mood, but he's definitely not the type to force it on someone. Dutch is a HUGE guy. Like, canonically if we're going by Benjamin his voice performer's height, 6'4. He's also very broad. Imagine getting a hug from someone that tall and strong! I would imagine it feels very safe and given that he likes to wear soft things like velvet, it's probably comfty as heck. It feels very safe, but if you reach his face, his mustache might tickle a bit.

arthur doesn’t believe in being remotely worthy of any romantic interests, he always thought you were out of his league. needless to say, it’s a pretty loving yet interesting surprise. he even comes as far as questioning your tastes in men.

but of course, he doesn’t say no, and god knows what would happen to his mental state if he ever dismissed your feelings.

by the time your confession came out, he’d admit that he loved admiring you from a distance, seeing how you swayed men with your charms and wits. it was always fascinating for him in a weird way. he can’t quite put it in words, but by simply observing you, he could feel things.

“alright, alright … i’ll take the goddamn minx’s hand, but don’tcha go cryin’ on Grimshaw’s dress if ya’ startin’ to regret yer decision, understand?”

obviously, he’s so grateful to have you under his wing now. it’s almost like a dream he’ll never want to wake up from, it’s a blessing, even.

although arthur still doubt how long you’ll stay with him, due to his bad experience during his first relationships with some women, he’s trying to be optimistic about the way it will turn out.

he doesn’t have much to say or do, except awkwardly appreciating your presence and the way all of your attention shifted onto him, but he’s not a slacker in this relationship, hell no.

“why?” was the first thing that came out of his mouth. he regrets it.

when you explained it’s really by the way he behaves with you, the way he’s gentle and soft for you, always slacking around until he gets to work when you ask him to from dutch’s part, that’s where he realizes, he really didn’t made any efforts to try and keep his feelings away from you. he is embarrassed.

lord knows how red his face was when you admitted that he may be one of the most tender man you’ve ever came across from the millions of other ones you had to seduce for survival, to think he was one in a million, in a way, you made him feel special.

he could only hide his lips with the back of his hand as he reluctantly tried to look at you, in which he desperately can’t. and while you await his answer, his heart keeps beating faster and faster, he worries you may even hear the sound of his heartbeat from where you are.

eventually, after a long moment of awkward, peaceful silence, with the sounds of birds and winds clearing the void of noises your head, john eventually grumbled a little “yeah, i guess i like you too.”

he can’t believe that he managed to get into a relationship with someone as charismatic as you, knowing he absolutely has zero charms. but this reality doesn’t apply to you, it seems. with the way you shower him in compliments and constantly pampering him with kisses ever since your confession, it makes it hard to believe that he wouldn’t be a man of interest.

in return, he’d quietly shove all of his love and affection by pulling you into a simple hug or enticing you to join their partying when the gang suddenly pops out the alcohol and plays music for some event. he’s a fun man when he tries to be, otherwise, it’s really just long, and silent moments of adoration as he hugs and cuddles you from behind.

before he even got together with you, he was already a little frustrated with the men you had to engage with for the sake of the mission, but now that you’re his, his frustration is even worse.

he’ll tease you about your feelings, dutch already grew a reputation amongst women for his ability to entertain with just talks and conversations. he even swayed men to like him for being friendly. after all, why do you think he knows and have contacts with so many people?

admittedly, dutch secretly loved it when you confessed to him. there’s something about you initiating it that sparks a bigger interest in you. you were a pretty thing to look at, a painting in exposition for a museum. of course he had his eyes on you for a long while ever since you joined.

he only puts you in those (insufferable) tasks to see you in action, and boy, was he impressed with the way you’d easily wrap those creeps, men and women alike, around your finger so quickly. not only were you useful for the gang, but you proved you’re more worthy than those petty missions.

he’ll never admit how he would also punish himself watching you whisper those sweet-nothings into their ear, only hosea knew the kind of face he would make when you did your job.

surprisingly committed and devoted into this relationship, you honestly expected something lacking. i mean, the way he treated molly should’ve trigger those red flags, but there’s something about him that you couldn’t quite touch on, that was so annoyingly attractive. and that devotion never faded away, you always kept him entertain in some wicked way, god knows what kind of poison you have for him to be so hooked on you.

he’d always slide his hand around your waist, tracing the edge of your body with his fingers as he looked down on you. and the way you gracefully accepted his touch only made him want to crave for more, he wants more of your subtle validation every time he shares an intimate moment with you. you’re his elixir, and he will never stop getting sick if it means consuming you more and more.

don’t expect this relationship to end. he will never let go of you. ever.

it took hosea some convincing to let him know that you were serious about your feelings, he always took everything under a sarcastic joke, until he realizes you actually mean it, his smile drops as he’s processing the information.

hosea is aware he’s not as devilishly handsome as dutch, he thinks of himself as a boring old man who likes novels and wisdom. to think you, a young and seductive temptress, in love with him? he doesn’t know how to eat that in a whole.

that is probably the first time you ever seen him that nervous, but the way he plays it out as a joke was still endearing, but annoying, at the same time.

“who forced you? i swear, i won’t be mad if ya’ just told me, y’know?”

when he finally accepts the fact that you’re really interested, hosea couldn’t help but smile again. he’s a jokester, seriously, what do you see in that guy? he makes you laugh. (nudge nudge, wink wink) and the sheer fact that he made you bend over (not in that way)mon your tummy as you try to suppress your laughter into quiet snorts so many times was just charming, in your opinion. and impressive as well. no men made you laugh like that before.

you couldn’t care less if he was too old or too modest, he was the perfect amount of gentleman. he’s been loyal to you like some kind of butler, and it was just so lovely to see him act like such a domestic husband when you ask nothing from him, and it was even more funny to see him quietly appreciating your flirtatious remarks before you got together.

now that you are in a relationship, your teasing has gotten even worse, and hosea desperately tries to keep up with you but you always left him in long flustered silences before he cracks another joke to try and change the topic. but he doesn’t leave you do all the talk, when you need comforting words after a mission, he’s here. and he’s the perfect man for encouragement and motivation.

he understands that it must be hard to always be a man’s attention, and he couldn’t be any more proud of you for trying to play your part for the sake of the gang. he doesn’t care about the comments you have to use towards these men for information, he knows whatever you do or say, he’s the only one you love, and you’re the only one he loves.

you’ve never seen him so. happily. flustered.

he doesn’t want to show this side to you, he’s a scary outlaw who knows how to handle a knife, guns and such. but you made his heart flutter, how is he supposed to react to your feelings in a way that wouldn’t miserably damage his image as a brave yet intimidating gunman?

being generally polite and soft-spoken, you couldn’t hear him literally grumbling in spanish under his breath, not like you could understand him anyways, he was talking too fast in your opinion.

he can’t afford to look you in the eyes, you’re so beautiful and precious. you’re no saint and that, he shamefully loves it, so much. no amount of words can describe how he loves seeing you talking your way out of conflict with those honey words. and because of that, you’ll only ever hear his confession in spanish before he pulls you in an embrace, which told you that he’ll happily stay by your side if that’s what you want.

it frustrates you that he’ll only talk about his feelings in his native language, that’s his mother tongue, and as much as you love to hear his love words in spanish, you also want to know what that means. you want to hear those words clear and loud, and javier can’t help but chuckle at your desperation. it was adorable. he didn’t know you had that side for him; being cute. usually, he would only see you tempting men and women, or constantly hearing your teases.

seeing you pout just made him want to speak spanish more often, he savors everything you offer him. and there couldn’t be anything more delicious than your new expressions, he especially loves it when you blush for him, because it came to a point where hearing his mexican rants was.. weirdly attractive.

my fault, all my goddamn fault was all arthur could think when he watched your body fall in slow motion to the ground.

"arthur!" dutch called over the loud gunfire. arthur was unable to tear his gaze from the warm blood leaving the four bullet holes in your side dripping onto the ground.

he told you to come into the bank, to help him get up to the roof to snipe the guards. he told you to leave the relatively safe position you were in to come help arthur with a job he could do perfectly fine alone. he just wanted you out of there and quite unfortunately, you died because of that.

"get up to the roof, son!" dutch yelled, shoving arthur out to the alley of the saint denis bank.

"'m sorry, y/n. god i am sorry. i ain't- christ. . . i ain't mean to getcha killed. shit, i ain't even know where you were," arthur mumbled. he climbed three ladders before he got to the spot that would do him well.

he killed every guard he saw with a headshot, spilling the oily bastards' brains onto the ground and walls of the glorified 'city of the future'.

not five minutes later the man arthur called his brother was shot in front of him too.

ain't that just the way, arthur thought. the man's jaw was sore from how hard he was clenching it, and his eyes stung like nothing else.

"let's go, damnit!"

the gunslinger was pulled to his feet.

arthur was pushed forward. "we need to get out now so there aren't more dead later," dutch said.

and that was that. . . for now.

☆ - JOHN MARSTON

it was completely preventable, what happened to you. at least from what john heard.

of fucking course he had to be locked up the day you died.

he had looked around when he got back, a wry smile pulling his lips thin. past arthur's shoulders, past sadie's unsmiling face. "where's y/n?" he asked, smile faltering.

sadie swallowed, eying arthur. "uh. . . y/n-"

"is dead," arthur finished. "agent numbnuts, uh, ambushed us. we were all good up until the end, adrenaline. . . adrenaline wore off. y/n fell behind me," arthur explained, avoiding eye contact with john. "they showed me two bullet holes they'd been hidin'. . . y/n died in my arms. talkin' 'bout you." arthur clenched his jaw and sniffed.

sadie looked uncomfortable. she'd gotten close with y/n and she had been crying alongside arthur while y/n spent their last minutes just talking with the pair. it's been so long since i've just talked with someone. ain't know how much i missed it, they had said. miss you asshats already, was one of the last things that had bubbled up from y/n's bloody lips.

"we're sorry, john."

"did- did you bury them?" john's voice wavered dangerously.

sadie nodded. "we can, uh. . . show you."

the rest of the day was a blur. a mix of voices, the slur of a familiar voice. john didn't know what to do.

☆ - DUTCH VAN DER LINDE

"goddamn it, y/n!" dutch yelled. the man's voice was hoarse from lack of sleep and water. his irritation stemmed from plans going wrong, scores being set-ups, and his own gang showing slowly showing their distrust.

"what, dutch?" y/n asked tiredly. they massaged their temple.

their most recent argument was because of y/n tackling dutch to prevent him from being shot in the shoulder. because of this, dutch missfired his bullet and eventually their getaway stagecoach was blown up.

"you have nothing to say?! no apologies!? we could be halfway to tahiti right now, y/n! if it weren't for you-"

y/n scoffed in disbelief and ran a hand down their face. "if it weren't for me saving your life? how much do you even know about tahiti, dutch? i trust you, i have faith in you, i believe in the power of this gang but please. we need to take our time with these pla-"

"don't you tell me what to do!" dutch strode over to y/n who was shaking their head.

y/n- clearly done with the conversation- made their way to their horse. from the faint lamplight, y/n could make out javier and charles both watching the interaction. micah tipped his hat to y/n; micah didn't talk to y/n enough to hate them. john watched dutch and y/n from the fire, already sensing something in his gut.

the anger radiating off of dutch was downright murderous. y/n hadn't even done anything wrong! john gnawed on his lip, one hand unconsciously drifting to his holstered gun.

"we are not done talking about this!" dutch grabbed y/n's arm and yanked hard.

"fuck!" y/n cried, instinctively jerking away from dutch's touch. y/n tore their arm from dutch's hold and, because of all the power that y/n used to get away from dutch, fell forward. a loud snap followed right after y/n collided with the ground.

a morbid choking sound fell from y/n's lips as their head made sharp contact with a rock. y/n felt blood rush to their head because of the odd angle y/n landed in: their head was below their broken legs.

dutch stood, parayzed in his spot. blood flowed out of the side of y/n's head, sliding down the dirt in rivulets. "i'm sorry," he whispered.

"y/n!" javier called, running to where y/n lie. charles followed closely behind, along with john and arthur.

charles set both of their lookout lamps by y/n's head. "be calm, y/n, you're okay," charles soothed, clutching their hand.

javier grasped y/n's other flailing arm, tears springing into his eyes. "you're okay. por favor- please- keep your eyes open," he begged. "mrs. grimshaw will be here soon, yeah? she will get you all fixed up."

arthur shouted for the women to hurry up because he knew y/n probably wouldn't survive this.

charles kept mostly quiet, checking y/n's pulse at random. javier was telling a story, talking about all the beautiful sunsets and sunrises in mexico. john waited off to the side, watching tilly and mrs. grimshaw and abigail share a look before giving arthur a terrible look.

dutch fled. he got on his bright white horse and left. he didn't know how to deal with thaf. he just killed you. you are dead because of him. dutch felt tears roll down his face. he felt the softness of his horse's hair. and he also felt the burning two foot hole in his chest because of the hollow, fearful look in your eyes after hitting your head.

on and on he rode, never stopping and never stalling. with no destination in mind, dutch figured he'd ride till morning then go back to help bury you.

from the moment you met him, you never felt the need to mask around him because he never questioned your behaviors or belittled you for them

if any problems ever arised, arthur would always be quick to come to your defense

hes very careful with you; he handles you like he's holding a butterly. not because he thinks youre fragile or incapable, but because he cares for you too much and never wants to hurt you

he also knows that youre sensitive to things and will take mental notes

if he sees that you cover your ears when something loud happens, he'll be sure to be quiet around you

if you express that you don't like how a certain food feels, he'll start bringing other options along to make sure you're eating

he's not very good at being upfront with his emotions, and you can't always catch onto his hints which ends up with you being confused

but he's trying to break that habit

he definitely pampers you a lot and sometimes it might feel suffocating at times but not bc you dislike it, you just need a moment to recharge

you'll tell him you need a moment to yourself and he'll oblige

he just cares about you more than anything

now that im thinking about it charles is also probably autistic

he's usually very quiet but with you he'll never shut up because he knows that you'll listen and show genuine interest

he will craft things for you to fidget with omfg

he'll notice that youre very antsy with your hands or legs and one day you'll come back to your tent and see a small handmade doll sitting on your bed

Anon asked: hi! can you do a headcanon for john, arthur, and dutch with a reader who gets into a nasty fight with someone at a bar or another person at camp? i love your writing!

Chances are the both of you went to go get a drink and relax before heading back to camp

Just like him, you would have to develop patience for drunkards but the minute someone says something you don’t like that crosses the line, it’s going down

Arthur will immediately jump in as your backup

The aftermath of the fight is what really gets up as the both of you are kicked out of the saloon

He will make sure you are all good

If you are his significant He won’t lie, he will be very turned on if you gave the fight all you got

He will be slightly shocked for the most part

Will make you lean against one of the horses as he wipes any blood off your face, check your hands, any other injuries, etc

“Remind me not to get on yer bad side. Ya got a nasty (right/left) hook”

May bring this up multiple times if it was that impressive or if he wants to tease you the next time you go to a saloon

Since he’s at the camp most of the time, that’s where your fight will take place

It would be to defend his honor and faith

Seriously though, it would probably be either at Shady Belle or Beaver Hollow when everyone is at their low and the nasty fight takes place

Most likely someone said something and you were just at your limit but unlike the others, you don’t hold back

Thus, you win the fight but at a very bloody cost

Dutch will have a word for you if you are still very loyal to him and he actually knows it

If you are his significant other it will most definitely stroke his ego

You have woo’d him

If it’s at Shady Bell, he’ll help you clean up

If it’s at Beaver Hollow you may have to clean yourself up after he congratulates you on the win and reminds you to keep that faith you have for him

For him, I think you would need to be at a saloon while he is at camp because his temper is much quicker than the other two and he would help beat the living daylights out of whoever laid a finger on you

Show up bloodied and injured and he will be physically seething but he won’t make you talk unless you want to

I headcanon that John much like Arthur gets into bar fights often so he knows how to take care of those injuries and he’d help you without really thinking about it

If he was there? That’s a whole different story

He’d hold back on whatever person is pissing you off but the moment you explode?

Oh bring it on

He’s fighting with you, getting all that pent-up frustration out and after it all, it would be a good laugh with him.

If you are his partner

He will be damn proud

If the adrenaline is still rushing through his veins he will most definitely want to take you to a more secluded area

.He also is very educated and knows the right way to say things to you, to get you on his side.

.Pretty much having various men and women spy on you for him, to make sure that you are never ever going to leave him.

.Dutch can be a calm and collected yandere, but he can also be very rash and petty. 

.He would go so far as locking you up if he has to, anything to keep you, his darling love in line! 

.He is the type of yandere that values loyalty above all else. 

.So if you were to cheat on him he would punish you and make you regret it and the man or woman you cheated on him with, will be killed right in front of you. 

.He would remind you it is your fault they are dead because you cheated on him and that they were no longer here because you could not keep your legs closed. 

.That is right he would also slut shame you if you had partners that were not him. 

.He is also the type of yandere that would gaslight you as well! Makes you feel crazy for questioning him and not trusting him. 

.He would also turn most of the gang against you as well! 

.No One would be on your side and they all would say how you are giving Dutch such a hard time when Dutch clearly loves you and is worried about you. 

.Why can you not make it easier on Dutch when he does all this time for you? 

.No One would believe you when you say how bad Dutch is or how obsessive he is of you, because he has made everyone trust him and see you as the paranoid and unwell one. 

.They would even pity Dutch thinking he is such a good man to love and take care of you and be the man you need in your life. 

.No One would trust you or let you leave Dutch, he would use his influence over the gang members to make sure that you were kept in the gang and that if you tried to run then you would be brought back. 

.The web of lies and manipulation that he has made is thick and there is no getting out of it once you are in it. 

.You would be pretty much trapped by Dutch. 

.Dutch is also a man who likes modern things as well. 

.Such as his books, typewriter, and gramophone which are a few of the amenities he loves the most. 

.He would be the type of yandere to spoil you as well. 

.You like books, he will be getting you so many books! If you like jewelry or makeup he will get those as well, or if you like guns and knives he will get those for you as well. 

.He is the type of yandere that thinks he can buy your love and have you by his side by spoiling you and treating you like the royal person he sees you as. 

.He is also very brave and not afraid to go head first into gunfire if it meant keeping you safe. 

.You are the love of his life and he will face any amount of gunmen to keep you safe and sound. 

.He is the type of yandere that may even sacrifice for himself for you. 

. Over time though his ego starts to grow and he becomes more violent to anyone who dares even looks at you. 

.At this point no one would even talk to you and Dutch starts to isolate you from the world. 

.Declaring that all you need is him and that you do not need anyone else. 

.No One dares try to help you as the first person who did get executed, they go from thinking Dutch is good for you, to finding out he is obsessed with you. 

.But at this point, no one will risk helping you, they feel bad that they let it get this far, but they value their own lives and they realize how unstable Dutch has become. 

.In truth Dutch has always been a violent yandere and takes great pleasure in killing rivals, and when he finally slips into the full madness of his yandere side violence becomes his first and only choice in dealing with anyone that is in the way of his love for you. 

.He would be the type of yandere that is "If I cannot have you,  no one can!" and this shows when he confesses to you. 

.He romantically confessed to you and if you said yes you would be treated like the royal person he sees you as! 

.If you say no there are two ways he will deal with it! 

.The first way is before he fully slips into the maniac side of himself and he would try and court you and manipulate you into loving him. 

.But if he has already slipped fully into madness? Then he will be like I said before, if he cannot have you then no one can and would empty his gun into your brain. 

.Also if you ever tried to leave him, he would make sure you regretted it deeply, no one! NO ONE! Betrays Dutch Van Der Linde! Not even you, his darling!

The Fairytale She Wove Pairing: Dutch x ofc (his s/o) - It’s over 17k words long, it’s easily my favourite thing that I’ve written for this fandom. There’s smut/angst/some violence and a warning for miscarriage. Essentially I wanted to write about what it would be like to be Dutch’s s/o through the years, the good and the bad. I may revisit this and add at some point.

Damned from the start. Request. Quite a bit of Angst. Pairing - Javier x f! s/o. Javier falls in love with Bronte’s daughter without knowing her true identity. Naturally when things go down, it gets awkward and Javier questions his feelings/loyalty. 

Absolution at the base of your Altar - Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three, Chapter Four.  Pairing - Javier x afab reader. The reader was at Blackwater and thus carries around a lot of anxiety/survivors guilt over what happened. She thinks of something that may help her process the grief and guilt, but it will take Javier’s help. A lot of content warnings apply aside from the smut/explicit material, there are references to survivors guilt, anxiety, mental health, degradation, religion/theology, spitting during sex, reader being triggered by certain words during sex, hair pulling, choking. 

When It Rains - Hurt/Comfort/Angst . Javier choses Dutch over the one he loves, only later to return to them and beg for forgiveness.

I can’t believe you believed me? Dutch and Hosea (being dads) - No warnings - a little fluffy. Based on another prompt that was sent to me, Dutch decides to try and get Hosea back for all his years of pranks and show the conman he isn’t always on the ball.

Just Breathe - Javier x Charles - gender neutral reader (Platonic) Hurt/Comfort/Fluff. The reader has a pretty awful panic attack and leaves the camp as they don’t wish the others to see. Javier and Charles find them and comfort them and help to coach them through it and calm down. Written in a way that can be taken as platonic, but also potential relationship.

Everyday Magic. Trelawny x gender neutral reader. Fluff. Trelawny and the reader are out on a mission for the Gang, they enter a greenhouse where the reader’s mind is opened to the beauty of plants. They and Trelawny share a heartfelt conversation over lunch which leads to a little more than was expected.

-Base Yandere Headcanons With Yandere Dutch van der Linde From Red Dead Redemption 2- 

.Dutch is a bad man and a very dangerous yandere. 

.He did have morals at the start out with, but as time goes he becomes even more vengeful. 

This also translates to how he is with his Yandere side. 

.He fell head over heels in love with you and my oh my aren't you a stunning person to him? 

.Dutch is a very charismatic yandere and can charm his way into your heart. 

.He also is very educated and knows the right way to say things to you, to get you on his side. 

.He is the type of yandere that will be able to talk people into keeping an eye on you for him. 

.Pretty much having various men and women spy on you for him, to make sure that you are never ever going to leave him. 

.He is so charming that you would not know you were in danger with him until it is too late! 

.He is the type of yandere that Is in control 90 percent of the time. 

.No One would question his love for you, thinking that Dutch is good for you and that you and he were already dating before you even accepted his love! 

.Dutch has very brutal methods which he uses on his rivals. 

.From starving them to castrating them,  and straight up even killing them in a long and torturous manner. 

.He does not take kindly to rivals and so if he does have a rival he very much will make sure they suffer.

.You belong to him being more or less property of Dutch Van Der Linde! 

.Dutch can be a calm and collected yandere, but he can also be very rash and petty.

.So if you were to cheat on him he would punish you and make you regret it and the man or woman you cheated on him with, will be killed right in front of you. 

.He would remind you it is your fault they are dead because you cheated on him and that they were no longer here because you could not keep your legs closed. 

.That is right he would also slut shame you if you had partners that were not him. 

.He is also the type of yandere that would gaslight you as well! Makes you feel crazy for questioning him and not trusting him.

.No One would be on your side and they all would say how you are giving Dutch such a hard time when Dutch clearly loves you and is worried about you. 

.Why can you not make it easier on Dutch when he does all this time for you? 

.No One would believe you when you say how bad Dutch is or how obsessive he is of you, because he has made everyone trust him and see you as the paranoid and unwell one. 

.They would even pity Dutch thinking he is such a good man to love and take care of you and be the man you need in your life. 

.No One would trust you or let you leave Dutch, he would use his influence over the gang members to make sure that you were kept in the gang and that if you tried to run then you would be brought back. 

.The web of lies and manipulation that he has made is thick and there is no getting out of it once you are in it. 

.You would be pretty much trapped by Dutch. 

.Dutch is also a man who likes modern things as well. 

.Such as his books, typewriter, and gramophone which are a few of the amenities he loves the most. 

.He would be the type of yandere to spoil you as well. 

.You like books, he will be getting you so many books! If you like jewelry or makeup he will get those as well, or if you like guns and knives he will get those for you as well. 

.He is the type of yandere that thinks he can buy your love and have you by his side by spoiling you and treating you like the royal person he sees you as. 

.He is also very brave and not afraid to go head first into gunfire if it meant keeping you safe. 

.You are the love of his life and he will face any amount of gunmen to keep you safe and sound. 

.He is the type of yandere that may even sacrifice for himself for you. 

. Over time though his ego starts to grow and he becomes more violent to anyone who dares even looks at you. 

.At this point no one would even talk to you and Dutch starts to isolate you from the world. 

.Declaring that all you need is him and that you do not need anyone else. 

.No One dares try to help you as the first person who did get executed, they go from thinking Dutch is good for you, to finding out he is obsessed with you. 

.But at this point, no one will risk helping you, they feel bad that they let it get this far, but they value their own lives and they realize how unstable Dutch has become. 

.In truth Dutch has always been a violent yandere and takes great pleasure in killing rivals, and when he finally slips into the full madness of his yandere side violence becomes his first and only choice in dealing with anyone that is in the way of his love for you. 

.He would be the type of yandere that is "If I cannot have you,  no one can!" and this shows when he confesses to you. 

.He romantically confessed to you and if you said yes you would be treated like the royal person he sees you as! 

.If you say no there are two ways he will deal with it! 

.The first way is before he fully slips into the maniac side of himself and he would try and court you and manipulate you into loving him. 

.But if he has already slipped fully into madness? Then he will be like I said before, if he cannot have you then no one can and would empty his gun into your brain. 

.Also if you ever tried to leave him, he would make sure you regretted it deeply, no one! NO ONE! Betrays Dutch Van Der Linde! Not even you, his darling!
