Though the final match between Argentina versus France has been dubbed by the majority of people as the best World Cup Final, personally this is the best match throughout World Cup 2022, or more like, the most unforgettable one.

The altercation between players started after what Lea did to the Dutch’s bench. Things escalated quickly from that moment. It got worse because Lahoz gave them 10mins additional times and once it ended, the 2nd brawl happened almost instantly.

Dunno what the hell is wrong with that Bergwijn guy 💀🤬.

It’s a good thing Ota came right on time. It looks as if he noticed Bergwijn’s movement and Ota used his body as armor to protect his teammate from violent Bergwijn. We never know which player Bergwijn intended to hurt when he suddenly marched into the players’ mob like that (there’s Macca and Lea right there, Bergwijn proly wanted to hurt them).

This post is solely to capture the fight scenes, for the penalty shoot-out scenes read here.

The game ended after Lautaro successfully converted his penalty kick. The Dutch players got to see El General do this ‘Roman’ celebration right in front of their faces.

But the next fight happened exactly after that. Well, actually there are 2 fights happened at the same time.

Scene #1 was when Lahoz gave Dumpfries red card and Dybala was seen happily mocking Dumpfries. His mouth and his gesture showed that he told Dumpfries to go home. Dumpfries fumed and marched to probably kill Dybala, but Tagliafico shielded Dumpfries from doing that.

Meanwhile, the other scene involved Noa Lang who pushed Paredes and Papu who pushed Lang back.

From this angle we can see how Tagliafico held Dumpfries off with all his might.

It’s a never-ending drama that we saw one after another. And again, in between Argies’ celebration, Messi came to Van Gaal and this whole thing happened:

I know we should respect the elder, with Van Gaal being the senior coach and all that, but at this moment, somos todos Rodrigo De Paul. I can imagine De Paul proly said: “Ay, señor this is what happens if you talk too much about us. See, now you make Leo angry. Jajaja~ Enjoy your exit, señor. Chao~”

And while Rodri loved every second of provoking Van Gaal, our Angelito came to pull Messi away from the altercation. He’s our MOM, okay? Fide is truly the MOTHER ANGEL 👼 of this chaotic group. First, he protected Enzo from Dumpfries, then protected Enzo from hearing DIbu’s cursing, and at last, when everyone tried to calm the shit out of Leo with no success, somehow as soon after Fide stepped in, just like that the altercation ended.

And of course, being such an Angel as he was, Fide took a moment to hug Frans Hoek 👼❤️♥️(The Dutch’s GK coach, who used to work with both Van Gaal and Fide in United)

Not only did Messi pay a ‘friendly’ visit to The Dutch’s bench, but our beloved Dibu too, this time we all could hear his direct message clearly.

Impressive.

My favorite moment?

It’s when Dibu joined his teammate’s celebration and half-joking cursed Enzo for his failed penalty attempt. Di Maria stood there watching that moment smiling, but he saved Enzo from Dibu’s wrath when Di Maria pulled Dibu into a hug, gave Enzo an exit to escape from Dibu.

Talk about La Scaloneta destined to be World Cup champion cuz it’s been written in the stars, there are 2 things I found that are interesting from this match against Nederland.

First, when Lahoz yellow-carded Gonza for protesting just 3 minutes after Gonza came to the pitch to replace Molina. That yellow card banned Gonza from playing in the next game, in case the Argies advanced to the Semifinal round. But that didn’t stop him from executing the penalty kick.

With his success, along with Leo’s, Lea’s, and Lautaro’s, La Scaloneta did advance to the next round, where they won easily against Croatia, and Gonza was benched without major problems. Meanwhile, during Argies’ last, final game against France when the victory had to be determined through a penalty shoot-out, we got him ready, unpunished, and he did his job well once again.

And then we have Dybala 💎. People have been asking and waiting for when he will play. His chance came to light with Argentina’s victory over Nederland. Fun fact, his first-ever World Cup debut was in 2018, the same game against Croatia when he came to sub Tevez, only this time the Argies won 3-0 and advanced to the final.

And as we all know, in the Final match Scaloni put him in to prepare La Joya to take part in the penalty shoot-out. He didn’t waste that chance. He helped Argies to get the World Cup trophy, despite only playing for no less than 20mins throughout the whole tournament.

The reason why I mentioned Dybala in this post is because of what he revealed later that he remembered what Dibu said to Enzo: "kick the ball to the center". I can say that Enzo’s failure during the match against Nederland somehow helped La Joya to convert his kick successfully.

(too new and too much a weenie to not be anon sorry ;-;) I'm rereading Van Halen Rising for 10584 time and gaaaawwwddd I'd give anything for a VH limited series, like two seasons at least to really go through the bands history and everyone's growing up. Also I feel like it could do what The Dirt dropped the ball on and start a empathic Convo about men's mental health and addiction, etc.

But....*sighs* I also don't trust the big wigs to /not/ whitewash Edward and Alexander (probably Edward much more). Like them being Indo-Dutch doesn't have to be a whole statement, it had nothing to do with the music or thier careers,but it is part of them and their heritage and an element of the discrimination they faced especially in early childhood.

Yes, I feel like touching in on David's,,, I don't want to jump and call it narcissism but that's what it honestly seemed like, Eddie's drug addiction, Alex's alcohol addiction and Michael's acceptance to some of the treatment he went through would really start a great discussion on men's health, potential causes, and change perceptions about it. If done correctly by a good director, it'd be trailblazing.

I don't trust them either, I definitely feel like they'd try to wash away their indo heritage!! And the discrimination I'm sure helped build them in many ways, whether the ways be negative or positive, and it'd be extremely important not to leave that out, but you know how hollywood is 🤩✨

Allright, time for my “end of the year looking back on all i’ve read” thingie.

It’s my first time doing this, but i’m excited and ready, so let’s go!

I wanna start with some more “boring stuff”, this year i’ve decided to read more classics. Growing up, i’ve never had a reading list at school so I missed a lot of literature. I wanted to read some of that, so I asked some help from my uncle (he used to own a bookshop catered to Dutch literature).

Firstly I read two recommendations by him, “ De aanslag” van Harry Mulisch, a book that a lot of dutchies probably loathe, and “bezonken rood”. His personal favourite! (he actually knew the author pretty well).

these books were very.. hard to get into, they had a lot of intense themes. But were still very interesting and i’m glad I read them!

I also read “The picture of Dorian Gray”, which was super interesting to me. It was an open mouth read through, i definitely recommend it!

I also got more into Osamu Dazai, as i’ve read both “no longer human” and “The setting sun”. If they look like something you wanna read please do, they are so beautifully painfully written.

more intense history books i’ve read this year were probably Pachinko and The Book Thief. I knew the book thief was aready super well known and populair, so I was excited to get into it. It wasn’t however, a good idea to read it while on holiday in Gran Canaria.. (i started crying while reading at the poolside).

Both books were super emotional, cried at both and added both to my favourites lists. Sooo good. They were incredible! (Pachinko.. so good.. Sunja my beloved)

A short book i’ve read and recommend is Lie with me. Beautiful and queer, held my breath the entire time. Please read it, and look into it!!

Some japanese books i’ve read this year were two books by Sayaka Muratw (i’ve read Convenience store women and Earthlings). My fave was most definitely Earthlings. The craziest book i’ve ever read tbh. Don’t look into it and just start it, you will be flabbergasted!!

The one writer who has captivated this year to me is R.F kuang. Poppy year was my yearly fantasy (I try to get through one fantasy franchise at once), and it was AMAZING.. immediately bought every book she’s ever written and i’m excited to read babel next year!!

Yellowface wasn’t really that big of a hit for me though.. It wasn’t bad though, don’t get me wrong! It just wasn’t for me i’m afraid.

Other books that didn’t do it for me were Diary of a void (boring), and the death of vivek oji (incest.). Though I don’t want to keep people from reading them, please form your own opinion ❤️

Tried getting into crimson cranes but.. yeah.. didn’t like that 😬

The best book i read this year was probably Almond. Never had a book hit me personally like that before.

Others I loved were Good omens (SO GOOD), and piranesi (The fact the first half makes no sense makes it BETTER).

I’ll post my next year goal soon. But for now this is it.

And I'm not very good with children but he actually seemed to like me 🥺 and he asked me to read him his dragon book 🥺🥺 and he wanted me to watch Monsters Inc with him so that he could show me the monster with the "naughty eyes" 🥺🥺🥺

AND THEN we saw my other cousin who lives in London (the brother of the one I stayed with), cause he and his wife (who is the loveliest woman every oh my god) came with their new baby, and he's really short cause he was born prematurely and really underweight, but he's now SO CHUBBY and it's the cutest thing ever he's just CHONKY and so adorable oh my god

AND. MY FINAL BIT OF NEWS FROM THAT TRIP. We were in London st pancras train station, and I was waiting for my mum to come out of the toilets and then Kit Connor walked past me?? S/o: Vampire!Dutch Van Der Linde. He's not as accurate to canon as you all are thinking. Mostly on the basis he is of sound mind. My friend and I are aware how bad canon Dutch is and she would not be pursuing him if her story took place in canon. V!Dutch behaves more like a grumpier Trelawny - do not come for our throats.

❣️- What are their love languages?

Claudia is a woman of action and passion and thus her love language shows through that way. Either by acts of service or through physical touch. She is often touching her beloved Vampire in some shape or form, even as little as grazing her fingers against his arm. If she is not touching, kissing him or doting on him, then she is doing little things such as making sure her flat has his favorite whiskey or singing to him while he rests.

🍷- How do they feel about alcohol?

Claudia believes that having a glass of wine a night is good for the soul. Drinking red wine helps her relax after a long day. Even on performance nights she makes it a point to drink some to help her. That is to say she doesn't have her fair disdain for alcoholics and drunken men that feel a little too confident in their pants. However, her dear friend, Darius runs several bars so she holds no ill will to the alcohol industry. Just the selfish and reckless folk.

💓- What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Generally speaking, Claudia keeps to herself as much as she can outside of work. However, when she is fancying someone - either like her "ex", Darius or Dutch, she will go out of her way to spend time with them. She'll also go through the trouble of keeping something in her house for them if they're visiting. Whether it be cigarettes, whiskey, or something like slippers.

👨‍👩‍👧- What’s their relationship with their parents like?

Nonexistent; they died when she was only a baby. She has no bond or connection to them.

☂️- How do they feel about rain?

She finds it both soothing and a nuisance. Soothing for on the days she has off and she can curl up at home under a blanket. It's more of a nuisance when it comes to work. It can cause delays in the shows and traveling to and from the theatre becomes more challenging.

🎶- What’s a song they really like?

Given the time period in which she lives, she doesn't quite get the luxury of listening to music like today, however; she quite enjoys Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake".

🖌️- Do they have any hobbies?

When she is not on the clock, she loves reading books or going for walks in the nearby park. Currently she is reading "Frankenstein" in the rp.

💘- What do they find attractive about their partner(s)?

I'm going to assume we're just talking about Dutch here. Although Darius is an Ex of sorts, the two are on good terms and still quite close. But for the sake of the ask I'll stick to Dutch only. For Dutch she finds his voice quite attractive. It's very warm and sultry - has a bit of a tart bite to it? (Idk if that makes sense???) And it just makes her melt. She also really admires his fangs. His are much larger and pronounced compared to hers. Seeing his fangs for the first time when he punched a drunken flirt for harassing her, made her feel things. And finally, his hands. He is,,,, a very multi-talented man with those hands. He can shoot, protect, and soothe with those hands - what more could a woman want?

🐾- Do they have any pets?

She does! A sweet little black and white , long-haired cat named Wyatt.

She is an only child.

🥰- What pet names do their partner(s) use for them? How flustered do they get by them?

Darius - Satakieli (Nightingale in finnish) (Yes I'm including him again because their connection makes me weak. He still calls her this even as friends.) Dutch - Dear, my sweet, dove, and Songbird. Songbird gets her the most flustered. -----

❣️- What are their love languages?

Sweet miss Faline's love language is a combination of physical touch and words of affirmation. She is not one to shy away from making sure her husband feels loved and cared for. Not only does it make him feel cared for, but it makes her feel good as well. Win-win.

🍷- How do they feel about alcohol?

She tolerates it at best; and that is on a good day. She feels comfortable enough around Heisenberg to be okay when he drinks it. But generally speaking, she doesn't think highly of the products, and she hasn't had good experiences with others when they're drunk.

💓- What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Seeing as Heisenberg was her first and only relationship she's had, it's hard to gauge a pattern. However, when she started to catch feelings for Heis, she had a tendency to hum a lot. It wasn't something she did often up until that point. She also started baking more. Leaving little offerings on his work bench of muffins, cookies, apple slices, etc. Just something to ensure he had food in his system, and he wasn't neglecting himself.

👨‍👩‍👧- What’s their relationship with their parents like?

*Sweats* Currently nonexistent considering they live on the other side of the world. Her family abandoned her in Romania, and she was left to her own devices months before being brought towards the lords. However, it's for the best the ties have been severed - Trust me.

☂️- How do they feel about rain?

Faline will get any chance she gets to go dance in the rain. She will drag Heisenberg out with her to play in it. It's the little things like that help them both decompress while living in such a stressful environment. If she isn't smooching her husband in the rain, then they're both curled up on the bed taking advantage of a good nap.

🎶- What’s a song they really like?

Faline's taste in music varies, especially with what's accessible. But "Let me Be Your Superhero" by Smash into pieces would be one she listens to as much as she can.

🖌️- Do they have any hobbies? Baking since its accessible to her. Modern day entertainment isn't always the most available in a crazy village ya know?

💘- What do they find attractive about their partner(s)? Holy moly what doesn't she find attractive? His eyes, his nose, his hands, his squishy dad-bod? His voice?! His determination for freedom, his ambition to create? She adores it all. There's too many things to decide. When she fell for him, she fell deeply and madly in love.

A Means, A Way, A Plan - This is the first fic I wrote for Cobra Kai, right after I finished season 3. I hadn't been inspired to write for a fandom in years at that point, but this hit me at just the right time in just the right way. I really wanted to treat the subject with respect, while also delving into the trash goblin mind of Johnny Lawrence. I'm really proud of this fic, which I like to think walks a line between the serious topic and the reality of living as a person who has to navigate it.

Different Hats - At the time I originally wrote and posted this (03/03/2005), it was the only piece of Smokey and the Bandit slash ever posted publicly to the internet. I see the fandom has expanded since then! Please note that I not only included Fred the Bassett Hound, I made him romantically significant. I'm not sorry.

Doubt of the Benefit - This was meant to be a one-shot. Except I had an extra chapter that I couldn't make work, where Johnny talked to Ali. But this was 100% meant to be a one-shot fic, where Johnny says "hey, some bad shit happened to me when I was a kid", and Daniel says, "hey, me too, let's talk about dudes with ponytails" and they realize they can support one another and be friends, then end. Hope y'all enjoyed my inability to leave a good story alone.

trouble child - Joni Lawrence, my beloved disaster baby. If, in April of 2021, you had told me I was going to rewrite the Karate Kid movies, from the POV of the bully from KK1, except as a girl... Let us say the disbelief would have been palpable. (If you had told me I was going to write a 10,000 word, non-linear threesome scene, I would also have been unlikely to agree.) I love this story. I don't care that maybe ten other people on the planet will ever want to read it- the ten of you are my people, and I cherish you.
