Brandi was very happy to have Dustin close again, even if he moves in to the "other side" of town. Now that the whole feud was over, she knew she will be visiting her son more often.

She also finally got to meet Juliette. When Dustin broke up with Angela, she was worried he will fall in the wrong company and when he kept his new girlfriend a secret for so long, she expected some wild girl. She was pleasantly surprised with her son's fiancée.

Brandi: I have no idea why Dustin kept us apart for so long. You seem like such a lovely young woman, he shouldn't be embarrassed of letting me meet you.

Juliette: That's really sweet, but I can understand him now. You're married to one of the Montys and my family would not be happy about it until just recently.

Tried to make the elder versions of the Newbies, Burbs, and Pleasants. I've always wondered what other people's personal canons were on them, since they've all passed away in TS2.

I've always imagined Bob and Betty went on to live in a retirement home after selling their house in SimLane, because Bob's health rather deteriorated and Betty was just stressed out. Her relationship with Brandi was always challenging because her own mother was tough on her, and she was concerned about Brandi marrying Skip as much as they liked him. Bob died first, and later on, Dustin was born around the same time as Betty's death of a stroke. Shame they never got to meet their grandkids.

For the Burbs, Brad always seemed older and he died after John and Jennifer got engaged. I'm happy to see that Tiffany lived to meet Lucy, as I imagine she'd be pretty old by then. I imagine her as a chainsmoking and sharp-tongued grandma. I like the Early Pleasantview canon of her, moving to the city again and all that.

Jeff and Diane Pleasant, too, apparently lived to see Angela and Lilith. But I imagine they'd be kind of distant to the grandkids. Jeff seemed to be tanner, so I guess they retired in a warmer climate. They died around the same time, but I dunno who'd go first--probably Jeff from his disappointment of not being able to go to Mars.

Daniel Pleasant owns the most profitable coal mine in Veronaview. His wife Mary Sue helps him run it and oversees the distribution and sales of the coal. Now that Mary Sue's parents have moved in with them, she can spend more time at the mining office while they help out around the house.

Angela is the golden child of the family, and knows her first duty is to marry well. She couldn't help falling head over heels for Dustin though. She knows that he is smart and ambitious and deserves a chance to be more than a guttersnipe.

Lilith wants to be an opera singer and marry Dirk Dreamer, both of which would horrify her parents, if they paid any attention to her in the first place.

Daniel and Mary Sue have been in touch with some of the wealthy sims in Veronaville, and want to introduce their daughters to the Monty and Capp heirs. The girls have $10k simoleans each for their dowries, and if Daniel doesn't have a son, Angela and her husband will inherit the manor, mine, and Pleasant fortune! So it shouldn't be too hard to get an introduction for them.

A mother and daughter with a goal to take over the world.

Sure but first, Lilith just has to make sure that Eva's love for solving conflicts with her fists doesn't interfere too much with the plan already laid out.

Lilith Pleasant

Lilith had left Oasis Springs to study at Britechester with her sister Angela. Maybe in a final, futile attempt to salvage their relationship. It didn’t work.

When Angela’s old flame Dustin showed up and asked her to marry him (wth?) and move to Del Sol Valley, Angela had quickly dropped out of school and became a full-time mum.

Lilith, she actually finished her studies. And then she left for Del Sol to be with her old flame, Dirk Dreamer.

But she didn’t become a pretty housewife. Lilith soon figured out that Dirk had created an app, and his skills in programming and her… more villainous side made it very possible for them to soon create a very dark internet.

But Dirk was so boring, and wanted them to stop. Why do men lack visions? Anyway, she broke up with him (after she had secured the programming and licenses for it) and kicked him out. It was a bit of a shame that she had by then realized that she was pregnant, but she viewed it as a blessing in disguise. As long as Dirk didn’t come back and had some ideas about being an active parent, she would be fine.

(He didn’t. Turned out he had started seeing Bess Sterling while they were working on a start-up and then hastily married her. Only to then die in a car accident, when Eva was only 5 years old. Lilith had nothing to do with the accident.)

Now, Lilith is back in Oasis Springs and owns a global business made up of social media apps, a car company and a space program. 

Her daughter Eva? Walking right in her mother’s footsteps. As long as Lilith can keep her on track, and keep the police out of Eva's way to resolve conflicts, they should be fine. And it's not as if Lilith doesn't understand the want to punch someone in the face now and then.

Eva Pleasant

With her mother as her biggest idol, Eva is dead set on learning whatever she can from her mother.

It's just that she always gets in trouble, and not in the kind that her mother fully approves. Eva is pretty hot-headed and often ends up in fights. Luckily, school is soon over for her, and she is ready to start working for her mother.

Although, hanging with the few friends she has is also quite a lot of fun...

Hiii I'm currently at round 3 with my pleasantview and I wanted to show off some sims. I'm on the Brokes rn. Dustin and Angela got married and moved out together after College.

Had a son called Stephen who just aged into a child ^_^ I may give them more kids but we'll see.....

Stephen's OTH happens to be sports while both his parents are nature which I found funny.

Okay… so everyone was very kind and like I’m honestly amazed anyone even saw my little post about the fic and not knowing what i want to do? Like holy cow even @shieldofiron was kind enough to acknowledge it which is wild to me since i basically stalk everything they post on my main account. Anyway that being said… I am going to go the snippet route, cause really its the fuck around and find out urge i get at least once a year to do something a little too impulsive. Like post the fic before my planned posting or like idk chopping off my hair (I never like the chop, its always a bad idea but that never stops the random urge that comes upon me)

I am truly hoping this gets it out of my system.

Anyway tiny snippet, but I am going to warn you, that like i wont be giving out the insane cast list for this fic, but I will say some of it is pure chaos but like workable chaos and not every couple that ends up together i even ship? But yes batshit insane. I am also a die hard obsessed Pride and prejudice fan and know waaaayyyy too much about it. I’ve seen every version that still exists minus the musical… because i know I can’t do it. But i mean I’ve even seen the fucking Mormon version. Which i obviously don’t recommend, the Bollywood version is cute tho. Either way, it was the second chapter book i ever owned and I’ve loved it forever sooo like my boys deserved a good straight up Pride and Prejudice Au. This is like a very little snip, chapter 1 is 9k and chapter 2 is over 11k and I am still working on chapter 3

““Angie, Dustin what have I told you about listening at the door?” Steve was incensed as the two kept up their quiet but undoubtedly giddy behavior.

Angela scoffed briefly at him and swatted back at his hand before cheerfully responding,

“Who cares about that Stevie? Someone, an Alpha, has finally rented Cherry Lane!”

Dustin who was barely older than Angela and more like her shadow immediately piped in,

“Ms. Cunningham from the West, she has 5,000 a year!” Steve let go of Angela’s skirt in shock.

“Really?” Steve couldn’t help himself as tried to look over the two of them to see his parents talking. The pair quietly squealing in unison that she was single made him give way back into an amused smirk.

“Who’s single?”

Steven grinned down at Robin who had come around the corner at his side before turning his face back toward his parents and whispering to her,

“A Ms. Cunningham apparently.” Steve was annoyed and amused in equal measure as Dustin shushed him and rolled his eyes at Robin who gave him a look of commiseration.

“Mr. Harrington, you must go and visit her. Welcome her into the neighborhood.”

The children all watched as their father seemed to move in near circles around his wife whilst asking her,

“How can it possibly affect them if I go and visit Ms. Cunningham?” They all heard rather than see their mother stamping her foot.

“How can you possibly be so tiresome and annoying? I’m hoping she might marry one of them. I sincerely doubt I could have been all that much clearer about it especially since this isn’t the first conversation, we are having about this.” Mr. Harrington didn’t even make direct eye contact with his wife, but he did arch his brow in her direction.”

Oldies

A beloved old couple, Coral and Herb raised Mary Sue Pleasant into the wonderful driven woman she is today. They are looking forward to spending their retirement getting to know their grandchildren and spending time with their daughter.

Burbs

Jenny is the sister of Daniel Pleasant, a woman with a workaholic drive. John is more than happy to stand by her side and support her with all his heart. Their little daughter Lucy hasn't decided what she wants in the world yet, but is looking forward to what she finds in Pleasantview.

Broke

Brandi Broke is the mother of Dustin and Beau. A friend of Darren Dreamer's, she had been happy in her marriage with Skip before his tragic pool accident. Brandi is devoted to her children and wants to give them the best that she can, but even before Skip died the family was poor. Brandi has found herself unable to work, as she has to look after her toddler Beau, leaving teenage Dustin as the sole bread winner of the family. He's found work as a runner for a local gang, but dreams of something larger than a life of crime, more secure. Angela Pleasant, his girlfriend, has all the luxuries he dreams of, and believes if a good girl like her could love a bad boy like him, it may just be possible.

Goth

The founding family of Pleasantview, the Goth family is an ancient lineage steeped in wealth. They have always experienced life closer to southern gothic horror than others may imagine, with mad men, tragic deaths, and more plaguing their history. Mortimer himself was a mad scientist, and a successful one. He married the beautiful Bella, and had two children with her, Alexander and Cassandra. The horrors that stalk the family struck again however, with Bella vanishing and leaving the family in their grief. Cassandra found herself dreaming of a true love that would sweep her away, and thought she found it in Don Lothario, the town's cassanova. They even became engaged! Alexander has clung tightly to his father as his closest friend in his childhood, and watches with caution as Dina Caliente courts his father for possible marriage.

Lothario

A man of pleasure, Don has two goals in life: love as many women as possible, and be admired as a musician. He has successfully seduced his neighbors, the Caliente sisters Dina and Nina, his maid Kaylynn Langerak, and the daughter of the Goth family, Cassandra. Sure Cassandra is far more serious about their relationship than he cares for, but he's sure he can handle it!

Caliente

The mysterious and beautiful Caliente sisters! Both are adoring of Don's love making skills. Nina is more than happy with their relationship as is, she doesn't want to be serious anymore than he does! As long as he gives her enough love she's happy to let him be and focus on her dreams of being a star athlete. Dina of course has always been more monetary focused. Her marriage to Michael Bachelor certainly helped set the pair up with their current lifestyle, but his death has her hunting again. Luckily she knew Michael's sister Bella, and about the Goth family through her. With Bella gone, Dina has her eyes set on a particularly large catch. Don is a far better lover, but Mortimer Goth is where the money's at.

Dreamer

Darren Dreamer is a creative man with big dreams. With his wife Darleen he had his son Dirk. It was a tragedy when his wife died a couple years ago. Slowly they've moved on from there. Darren fell in love with Cassandra Goth, though Cassandra hasn't noticed it, and has been close with Brandi Broke as they shared plans for how to work on a small budget. The family is struggling. Dirk found an escape from this in Lilith Pleasant. She is struggling just as much with life as Dirk is, but together they have found sweet moments of reprieve.

Pleasant

Mary Sue and Daniel Pleasant married some time ago and had baby twin girls. At the start of their relationship, Mary Sue and Daniel were madly in love. Daniel swept Mary Sue away in a wave of passion, and Mary Sue's melting under his attention was addicting. Of course, that changed when the twins were born, and they had to focus on the world beyond each other. It was clear to Mary Sue and Daniel that Angela was a good girl, and Lilith...was not. Of course they didn't do anything bad, they aren't terrible people or anything. They simply left Lilith mostly to herself, instead pouring their hopes and love onto Angela alone.

Mary Sue grew more distant as she became more and more involved with her career, working towards the coveted position of a board holder, while Daniel grew bored and frustrated from his wife always being busy. Daniel turned to the family maid, Kaylynn Langerak, to romance, and enjoy. It was easy to be happy when he could make Kaylynn forget her work under his touch, just like Mary Sue used to when they were younger.

Angela found a reprieve from the expectations of perfection her parents unknowingly placed on her in bad boy Dustin. She does her best to keep Dustin clear of her family, she needs to keep her good girl image up after all. Lilith is bitter from years of her parents favoring her sister over her, and Angela picking on her and claiming everything Lilith tries to claim. She dreams of a life far from her family, perhaps as a chef of some sort. Dirk Dreamer was the first person she can remember to look at her and really see her, Lilith, and not just a poor copy of her sister.

the gasp i just gasped is INSANE

i can't even bother to start the insights from the start because WHAT WAS THAT ENDING I AM LITERALLY HYPERVENTILATING RN !!!!

honestly i felt the entire chapter to my core, everything's going wrong and it's falling apart, felt it in my gut. i can't believe the fallout dustin and bug are having. it's just, so. sad. i feel like i was ready for everything BUT that.

and bug deserves to lose it genuinely, all this time she's been so so considerate for everything and everyone, girl's bound to lose it at some point. darling lucas is kind of the only one who's appreciating her rn :(

and STEVE OH MY GODDDDDD SIR IK YOU HAVE SEVERE ABANDONMENT ISSUES AND SHE DOES TOO BUT HEAR HER OUT SIR PLS & that argument was soooo abrupt and sudden i did NOT see that coming like steve cmon fight tmr she's having the worst day rn :(

dustin and bug fighting ,,, it hurts me too. but dustins character changes so much in season 4 and i had to include it because i want my own explanation for it tbh. he becomes so much more aggressive :((( my baby. and it was SO refreshing writing bug as more angry this season. she does deserve to lose it, i support her. so having her yell at dustin, defend herself against steve, and hang up on jon is GROWTH !!!

steves abandonment issues vs bugs is sooooo funny to me like guys u both hate being left alone pls recognize this and get married smh. and i wanted the argument to be slightly abrupt because theyre nearing graduation and never once discussed what would come next. the consequences of that speak for itself with the fight. steve just assumed hed move in with bug (which is a HUGE leap) while bug just ... didnt think about it (which is also a huge leap). both of them are upset and hurt and have the right ideas, just horrible ways of communicating them.

jon ,,, oh my dear baby jon. the phone call was the scene ive had planned since season 1 :) fun come home fact: the phone call, camera scene from season 1, and the iconic come home scene yall will get later were all planned before the story even began. they inspired me to write come home.

els letter !!! i felt cheesy starting the season with that, but it honestly felt so fitting. it was interesting writing from els pov with the way she speaks. she doesnt ever use conjunctions and she has a weird way of expressing emotions that i loved toying with !! i also wanted to show how el feels comfortable enough being vulnerable with bug by telling her about angela and the bullying (while hiding it from mike) so ! cute lil letter it was

Chapter 9

The End of an Era

Welcome back to the Duchelli household, where we are hurtling towards the final stretches of our first generation.

I’m not sure what is going on here, but I think Johnny is showing off some yoga moves. On the sidewalk. To a stray cat.

His daughter Jodi is pretending she doesn’t know him in the background.

To increase the household income enough to send Cora off to university, everyone is working hard. On top of her criminal activities, Alex has taking up writing a few books and painting.

Cora is still single and has no real friends, so for Love Day, she gives a rose to her beloved sister.

Brielle and Shawn used Love Day to finally make it official. No one was surprised, as they have been together for a while.

Another visitor dropping by is one of Brie’s best friends, Ariana Broke. She’s one of Angela and Dustin Broke’s twin daughters.

This is Adriana, the other twin. Both twins are very close with Brie.

Cora has neither the time nor inclination for making friends. It’s all about homework.

After fulfilling his aspiration to be the greatest bodybuilder ever, Don is back to being a serial romantic. He still has strong opinions on cheating, and most of the women closer to his age are married, so the dating pool is honestly a little sparse. Therefore, he invites out the somewhat younger Evie Delgato.

Evie tells Don all about her college, and mentions how she isn’t planning on settling down in a serious relationship until she gets her career started, so she’s open to just having some fun.

And so, after “having some fun” in a back room of the bar…

… Don kisses Evie goodbye before she heads back to her dorm.

Cora has gotten a job as a barista, which means she has to get up insanely early. So she’s always tired and in a bad mood. Late night studying does not work well with 5 AM workdays.

After work and a nap, she barely has time to fall asleep in her breakfast before going to school.

Her barista job, however, has given her a newfound appreciation for coffee, and she manages to talk her parents into letting her buy a fancy coffee maker at home.

Much better! Hopefully this’ll get her up in the morning.

While out on the town one day, Don hears someone cry in the ladies room. Out comes Morgan Fyres-Munch. Don asks her what is wrong, and she tells him that her and Wolfgang’s marriage has been rocky for a while, due to the stress of them living with her aging parents, and he finally had enough and left her.

Always the gentleman, Don cheers Morgan up and invites her to join him for coffee.

They hit it off immediately, and Don does his best to make Morgan feel better about herself.

It doesn’t take long before Morgan starts flirting back.

And to no one’s surprise, they end up in a back room.

Cora is really doing nothing but studying. She’s trying to get accepted into the distinguished degree in Physics at Foxbury University, and that takes hard work.

One evening, the girls are given school projects as usual, and Brie brings, besides one of the Broke twins, this guy.

His name is Aidan, and it turns out he’s a bit of a nerdy loner. Maybe Brie brought him because he reminds her of Cora. They immediately bond over robots.

“Alex, babe, will you still love me when I’m old and wrinkly?”

“Of course, honey.”

And so, Don is the first member of the family to hit old age.

Cora, would it kill you to leave the voidcritters alone and attend your father’s birthday? Sheesh. Even Christie from his fitness club is more excited than you.

on confusing relationships, does Danika know about what happened between her mom and aunt, if she even knows she has an aunt and cousin out there, I would've thought the other second-gen pleasant would shown up during the high school years.

OMG hAHAH yes!

That's the main reason she doesn't like her father and she's now making amend with her mom. She knows everything. I imagine that she found out when she was a teen, since she knew her mother had a twin sister that she's never met before.

I imagine her doing some digging and finding out on her own and confronting her parents about it! Luckily she went to college right after and didn't need to look at her parents' face.

Fun fact: Dustin and Angela got back together through MCCC and I think they had another kid lmao

So yeah, the pleasants are a mess!

Juliette was looking forward to being a sweet wife and mother, but she definitely wasn't going to be a housewife and take care of the house. Thankfully, every other Capp lady in town could recommend a butler to help her.

She didn't wait long to start bringing up their wedding and rushing Dustin. She didn't want to wait for Romeo and Angela to have their happy little family before them. Dustin didn't mind having the wedding as soon as possible, to establish himself as part of the Capp family. He just wasn't in a rush for parenthood and knew Juliette will be unstoppable once they're married.

She wanted to have children, of course. But she still wasn't going to just sit there and look pretty. She wanted to apply and started working as a teacher, but the Capp reputation reaches far and the only offer she could find already positioned her as a principal.

Alien Invasion: Family trees 25 years in

It's been 25 years since the invasion of Pleasantview and Strangetown started. Since Tycho is technically born in-game and he had a baby with Lucy Burb, the first born in-game generation is now complete for my alien invasion hood!

PT was really busy early on, but his jobs have slowed down lately. The rule was to only summon him when a human man rolled a want for a baby. Among his kids are Tycho, Vidcund Jr., Loki's twins Atom and Ceres and their younger sister Elektra (number 7 in the row), and finally John Burbs 3 alien kids Jane, Joe and Jack. Tycho already has a child of his own, little Joule with Lucy Burb.

Stella has a relatively modest number of kids at 4. Her eldest, Aster (pictured second), was born from her short-lived marriage to Cassandra Goth, and Deneb (pictured first) was born about a year after, from the affair she had with Darren that ended that marriage. She has two girls from her marriage to Vidcund: Violet and Cundy Sinclair Nova.

Chloe is happily married to Ripp, and has three children with him: Melanie, Bruno and Flavio. Outside of her marriage, she has three more: Azzura Goth, Alexander's daughter, Junior Oldie, Herb's son, and Rina Singles, the daughter she had with Nina. Only Junior and Rina have any alien DNA, although it remains unexpressed in Junior.

Lola has only two kids, Sitara and Parveen Loner in a previous marriage to Ajay. Sitara, the younger of the two, possesses recessive alien genes.

Jill has 3 kids, 2 with her longtime fiancé Buck: Jeff and Jess. Additionally, she has a toddler age son with Beau: Bill Broke. Jess has her grandfather's green skin, and Bill has latent alien DNA.

Johnny has done one hell of a job, with no fewer than 9 children. From eldest to youngest, we have Gertrude Nigmos, with the late Ophelia, Esmeralda Broke with Dustin, Diana and Dzvezda Smith with Dirk, Beelzebub Pleasant with Lilith, Justina Smith with Dina, twins Arma and Colt Grunt with Tank and finally baby Eric Davis with Johnny's most recent ex-husband Aldric. Of these, Justina is homozygous for alien genes, making her the first full blood alien to be born in the neighborhood.

Dina has a modest 4 children. Her eldest two are the twins Dino and Regina Goth with Mortimer, followed by her son Michael with her wife Angela. Finally, she had Justina with Johnny, as previously mentioned. Michael has latent alien genes.

Unfortunately, Nina and her husband Don passed away when a cockroach-borne epidemic swept SimCity. With him, she had two daughters called Jezebel and Carmen Lothario. Outside of her marriage, she had 5 more kids: Laser Grunt with Buzz, Rina Singles with Chloe, Paul Curious with Vidcund, Nino Pleasant with Daniel and Ulysses Beaker with Circe. Of these, Rina and Ulysses have alien skin, and Nino has recessive alien genes.

In total, this means the next generation consists of no fewer than 42 sims. 24 of those have alien skin, with one of them being a full alien. 5 sims have recessive alien genes, and 13 are fully human.

For the upcoming generation, I will be focusing on pairing off the half-alien offspring with each other. Hopefully, by the next generation we will have arrived at the final stage of the alien invasion, and we have at least one fully viable court consisting of a queen and several drones, each fully alien.
