Indie successors are better than the games they "copy", and I'm not kidding.
Undertale's better than Earthbound, Freedom Planet's better than a lot of 2D Sonic games, Palworld's better than Pokémon, Tunic and Oceanhorn pretty much NEED to exist since traditional 2D Zelda just doesn't exist anymore (Echoes of Wisdom isn't "traditional"), Duskfade and Genokids need to exist since Kingdom Hearts 4 won't be out for a long long time, Bug Fables forced Nintendo to realize people actually like Thousand Year Door, Shovelknight is more relevant than Ducktales ever will be, Spark the Electric Jester is the Sonic Adventure 3 we've been begging and begging for, AdventureQuest Worlds and AdventureQuest 3D were there for me when I couldn't afford WOW (and they didn't fall off like WOW did either), etc.
We need more games made by actual gamers who know what gamers want. Not out of touch old boomers who bow down and worship their executives and shareholders.

What names would you give the cast of Goncharov in a warrior cats au? Personally, this is what I would go with:
Goncharov himself:
I really don't know. Maybe something related to time for his prefix. Dusk- perhaps? It fits the idea of running out of time. Duskfade? Duskglow? Duskfrost?
Andrey:
I really don't know. If we go for Dusk- as Goncharov's prefix, maybe Dawn- for thematic parallels? Dawnflame perhaps?
Katya:
I was thinking Shining- for her prefix but I'm not really sure if it works
Ice Pick Joe:
Obviously Ice- would be his prefix but I cant decide on a suffix. My ideas so far are Icetalon, Iceclaw, Icefang or Iceshard.
I don't know about anyone else.

When literally any other popular game IP gets an indie spiritual successor based on it, fans of those IPs are all like "wow, I'm happy to see another game similar to this other game that I enjoy. I am excited to see what new ideas this indie game brings to that old formula".
When the same thing happens to Pokemon or Zelda, Pokemon and Zelda fans throw a temper tantrum, and sling the word "plagiarism" around without knowing what it even means.
Not even Sonic fans do that shit...
I don't even think it's a Nintendo fan thing either, cuz even Mario fans are pretty chill when Paper Mario or SMRPG gets a new indie successor.
It's always the Pokemon and Zelda people.
In fact, I'm pretty sure the only time Zelda fans were accepting of an indie adaptation was when Arzette came around.
Edit: Actually nevermind, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans do this too with any other card game that exists, ugh.

@duskfade dude...
The Initiative Tree
I just showed up to my buddy’s house for our weekly D&D Night, and he pulled out this awesome creation that he built.
After we roll for Initiative, we each put on our clothespin to remember the order of our turns. I was so immediately impressed that I asked him if I could snap a pic and share with the rest of you. He graciously agreed.
