so i'm doing asato's route and i might be a bit in love with him. and also how konoe reacts to him. i mean konoe is still konoe but ofc he reacts differently to different people and it's interesting how in rai's route it was always rai pulling konoe by the arm, and in asato's route it's konoe leading asato holding his hand. i think that says a lot about their dynamics so that's cool. konoe is very patient toward others and the way he tunes into their emotions makes it manifest in different ways without konoe feeling like he's not consistently written. i just like it when we can see characters react to other characters with consistent characterization that also keeps in mind that a person doesnt interact the same with everyone they meet. ofc konoe will be more touchy with asato sooner, asato wears his heart on his sleeve. ofc it takes him a bit longer with rai who keeps his walls up. im getting so much out of this catboy game

and that’ll do. the Legend tournament is exactly the same as it was in Dusk, i guess not everything can have something or another change, but still. honestly gotta say, a bit disappointed with how much was the same. the Gaiomon fight could’ve been changed. oh well.

anyways, here’s the team! Puttimon couldn’t be gotten until Highlight Haven in the post-game, and i kinda always planned Elvis being King Chessmon. Fe Ar could’ve easily have been Metal Etemon as well, it was always a toss up between that and Metal Garurumon. Blend and Antares were the easy two: no DNA digivolving, no shenanigans, just straight forth. Dorugoramon is a beast.

which leaves HB and Arpeggio as the odd two. i think, after a few DNA digivolutions, it’s possible that the stats just fall behind if the “material“ mons used don’t keep up, so considering i DNA digivolved Arpeggio thrice in the end, it’s noticeable. still, it’s a fun system, but it really is something to be kept in mind. that said, HB got his in 1 DNA-volution, so it never fell behind much. Giga Seadramon is awesome.

Finally I can watch the whole episode without wifi issues and anything in between *sighs* but the first half was so good and I cannot wait to watch the second half in it's entirety!

Also, damn I am a teeny tiny bit bummed that there wasn't more angst with the failed wisdom saves but I loved Ashton's reaction to it so far!

Also, Imogen chatting with "her mom" while Dorian saw his dead brother and Chet saw dead kids

Sam Reigel having Braius just to flirt with everyone

Fearne not knowing the full terms of her deal and not remembering what was actually there

Braius downing one healing potion, getting cure wounds before casting lay on hands on himself

Imogen's "I don't know for sure" when Braius asked if she was single

The irony of one of Sam's character waking up to his people dead and his next character "waking up" to his people attacking him with no reason. Karma I guess

Teven: We are bonded

Fearne: *Fumbling a lot* Yeah. yeah

Teven: I am bonded to many

Something about Braius asking everyone if they are single reminds me of Dusk in a way?

You know... I think the whole of BH is on an acid trip and by the time we finish the campaign, one of the most knowledgeable people of the most bizzaire stuff
