I did not mean for this to get backed up so much. It seemed like every time I had time to sit down and do a couple of these, I'd get like 3+ more tags at a time. I love y'all, but holy shit.
It's ok, I finally got caught up. Below the cut is all of them.
"I really don't mind."
Lexi: "No, seriously, I don't mind at all."
Maddie: "I don't care."
Ash: "Honestly, I don't care; it's fine."
Gwen: "It's okay, I really don't mind."
Robbie: "Seriously, it's all good, I don't actually mind."
Akash: "No, you're fine. I actually don't mind at all."
Jedi: "I do not mind, actually."
Carmen: "Does it look like I care?"
"I've been waiting here all day."
Lexi: "Oh, you're here! Are you okay??" (Internally panicking that the schedule is off)
Maddie: "Finally. I've been bored."
Ash: "It's about time. Where were you?"
Gwen: "You're pretty late. What happened?"
Robbie: "Wow you finally made it. What were you doing, styling your hair? Hahaha"
Akash: "Um hey you're pretty late. Not that I, like, care about that. I've been late too. Hate being late. It sucks. Not that you suck." (Thinking: I AM AN IDIOT)
Jedi: "It is good to see you have arrived. I have been waiting for you all day. Not... That I am troubled by your unpunctuality."
Carmen: "I've been standing here all day what took you so long?!"
“I love you.”
Lexi: "I want you to know that I really, deeply care about you. Remember when we met? It was October 8, 2020, it was overcast, warm, and I was biking to school on a green bike, you on a pink one, and we got talking about how it wasn't fair that it was fall with no sun and almost 80 degrees! About ten minutes after that --"
Maddie: "I definitely feel something for you." (Does not elaborate)
Ash: "I obviously care a lot about you." (Says this if dealing with a regular friend or a crush)
Gwen: "Hey, this may be awkward, but I want you to know... I like...like you. But like, I mean, if you don't, that's totally okay."
Robbie: "Dude, how could I not love you, you're freaking awesome! I mean, if I had to choose anyone to always be there with me on crazy adventures, obviously you!!"
Akash: "I think it may be a little early, but... I want to tell you I love you. I think it's perfectly normal to love your friends and partners, but I dunno, apparently it's weird to say that until you're 'ready'. But I do. Like, we're definitely friends but seeing you laugh and smile while you had part of your chocolate hazelnut frozen yogurt with rainbow sprinkles and marshmallows, I realized... I really love you."
Jedi: "I wanted you to know I care about you. It is really important to me that you know that."
Carmen: "I don't see why my 'loving' you is an issue. It's simply a neurological response in the brain." (Internally this runs very deep)
"I can't believe you actually said that."
Lexi: (visibly upset) "How could you even say that?'
Maddie: "That may be the weirdest thing I've heard you say."
Ash: "... Not sure I understand. Why did you say that?"
Gwen: "How... How can you -- I can't believe you'd say something like that!"
Robbie: "Woah. Even I couldn't come up with that."
Akash: "Dude, what even? How could you even think about saying that?"
Jedi: "That is...quite the strange thing to say."
Carmen: "In the name of-- How stupid do you have to be to say something like that?!"
"I'll be here when you get back."
Lexi: "Don't worry! I'll still be here! Not a problem waiting for you <3" (will probably get really nervous
Maddie: "Uh yeah I'll wait for you or something. I'll just play on my phone while I wait."
Ash: "Yeah I'll probably still be doing this when you get back. Ugh, I don't want to do it!"
Gwen: "Oh, yeah, it's okay, I don't mind waiting." (She does. This is torture.)
Robbie: "You're gonna be late getting back? Nononono, that's totally fine. Yeah. I'll be fine." (Bounces on his toes the entire time, nervous as all hell, anxiety raised)
Akash: "Yeah, I've been waiting here for you an hour. Yeah, totally okay. Um... You sure you still want to do this? Cause, like, y'know, you're so late? Not that I think you're intentionally running behind or any. Like, I know I said I'd wait for you to get back."
Jedi: "I have been waiting for you to return. While gone, I took it upon myself to complete my tasks, and tomorrow's work as well."
Carmen: "Fine, I'll be here when you get back. It's not like I have anywhere else to be. But if you are a single minute late, I swear on whatever you find holy, you will not want to see me again."
"Don’t touch my juice box."
Lexi: "Guys, this is my juice box. Just setting it down while I go get something."
Maddie: "That's my juice box. Why are you touching it? Can I have it back?"
Ash: "Uh, that's my juice box. Don't touch it."
Gwen: "Hey, is it okay if you stop touching my juice box?"
Robbie: (after several minutes) "Dude, wait, that's my juice box! I know because of that dent right there."
Akash: "Why are people touching my juice box? Germs, people. I slobbered on this thing. Ew."
Jedi: "Pardon me, I believe you are touching my juice box."
Carmen: "WHY DID YOU TOUCH MY JUICE BOX??? Now I have to get another one!!! I don't care that you didn't drink out of it - you touched it!!!"
“oh my god, tell me i didn’t just see what i think i did!”
Lexi: "Um... Tell me you saw that, please?"
Maddie: "Did y'all see that? That was weird."
Ash: "I'm not the only one who saw that, right?"
Gwen: "Hey, y'all saw that, right? Cause uh... *Gestures vaguely* it was something."
Robbie: "Oh my GOD did you see that??? Was that what I thought I saw???"
Akash: "Uh...that was weird... Please tell me someone else saw that."
Jedi: "What a peculiar sight. I wonder if anyone else saw the same thing. I have a hypothesis on what it was. I wonder if anyone else has the same."
Carmen: [I think she'd actually be rendered speechless]
"I wish I didn't have to."
Lexi: "I really, really don't wanna do this, but like... I have to. I'm sorry."
Maddie: "Ugh, I wish I didn't have to do this. This sucks. It's boring."
Ash: "Ugh. Doing this is the worst. I wish I didn't have to."
Gwen: "I'm sorry, but I must do this. It's something I have to do. I wish that wasn't the case..."
Robbie: "Why did I do this, again? Because, it's for the greater good. Greater good shmater good, this sucks. But like it'll work out in the end. Ugh, I wish I didn't have to do this. Shut up, Robert, just do it!"
Akash: "Man, I am so sorry. I really wish I didn't have to do this but.... I gotta."
Jedi: "Forgive me, for I wish there was another way to do this."
Carmen: "You think I want to do this?! What is wrong with you?!"
"You put that in your pancakes?"
Lexi: "Hold on, why are you putting that in your pancake? Not to be rude, or anything. It's just that the recipe says--"
Maddie: "Why are you putting that in your pancakes? That's weird."
Ash: "That's a weird thing to put in your pancakes."
Gwen: "Well, um... I wasn't expecting you to put that in the pancakes. Out of curiosity, why? Genuinely, I'd like to know."
Robbie: "Wawawawawait -- you put that in your pancakes? I mean. That's certainly interesting."
Akash: "Um, just in case you missed it, the recipe for the pancakes doesn't call for that. Oh, you did it on purpose? O...kay...."
Jedi: "Pardon me, but may I inquire your reasoning for putting that in your pancakes?"
Carmen: "Why would you ever put that in your pancakes???? What's wrong with you??? Follow the recipe!! This is why cooking is stupid."
"And why are you trusting me with this?"
Lexi: "I'm honored that you'd choose me to tell but... I dunno, why me? Why do you think I could keep this secret?"
Maddie: "No offense, but we're like, acquaintances. Why would you trust me with this?"
Ash: "I'm literally a telepath. I already knew that. But, like, it's nice of you to trust me."
Gwen: "I'm really glad you told me this, but... Out of curiosity, why me?"
Robbie: "Why are you trusting me with this? No, seriously, why me? I don't even trust myself with my secrets."
Akash: "... It's a lot to ask, but I completely understand. Thank you for trusting me with this. Though I have to ask... Is there any reason you told me specifically?"
Jedi: "I am deeply honored to have been selected in helping you carry this burden. However, I must ask, is there a particular reason you chose me when there are a variety of other options?"
Carmen: "Why are you telling me this? I don't care."
"You call that music?"
Lexi: "Uh, not to be rude, but I'm not sure this music fits...this. Like from an aesthetic point."
Maddie: "You like this? It sucks."
Ash: "Gonna be honest, but a fan of this type of music."
Gwen: "This is...an interesting choice of music."
Robbie: "Hey, uh... This music is kinda bothering me? Like, I dunno, for sensory reasons. Not that it sucks or anything like that haha..."
Akash: "You like this? Oh, you do? Uh... Okay." (Suffers in silence, complains in his head or to Robbie)
Jedi: "I am unfamiliar with this type of music. I cannot form an opinion on it just yet."
Carmen: "Do all people from Ceteri have the same terrible taste in music?"
"I'm not angry, I'm disappointed."
Lexi: "Nononono, I would never be angry with you. I dunno, I'm just a little disappointed. Like, not with you. Or anything. Just, the situation."
Maddie: "Why would I be mad? I'm just disappointed, that's all."
Ash: "I'm not mad! I'm just... I guess... Hm. Not sure actually. Uh... Disappointed?"
Gwen: "No, I'm not angry. Disappointed, maybe, but not angry."
Robbie: "Woahwoahwoah, slow down. I am not angry. Not even a little. I'm just disappointed. [Pause] Huh, that's probably worse, isn't it?"
Akash: "Nuh-no, I'm not angry at all! I'm... Sad? No. I feel...let down? No, you didn't let me down. What's the word? Disappointed! That's it."
Jedi: "I apologize if I came across as angry. I am merely disappointed."
Carmen: "Angry?! What gave you that idea?! I am not angry with you!!! Just severely disappointed!"
That was long. Sorry y'all.

No Longer You
Previous Next Read on Ao3 Shadow: Holding the Braincell
Hyrule pat Shadow on the shoulder. “You’re healing well! It shouldn’t be long until you can take off the bandages, maybe another day.”
“Th-thanks.” Shadow smiled sheepishly. He had hidden into himself since he’d been found out. Everyone had been at least civil with him if not nice. It had at least helped that Green Red and Blue vouched for him, and had told the group of their quest. With how suspicious he had seemed at first, it surprised him when Legend was the first to approach over Red. He had just sat next to him on the log at the fire and started working on a project. He found the silence surprisingly comfortable.
Over a few nights they slowly warmed up and tried to get him talking again. Even Blue would sometimes playfully nudge his shoulder but the real topic and question loomed over them all like a guillotine. No one knew why or how Shadow had appeared instead of Vio.

“Hey,” Green started softly one night. They were having a calm night. Everyone is full from Wild’s amazing cooking, the immediate area clear of monsters, and just sitting or playing or crafting. “Can I ask something? You don’t have to answer.” Shadow looks up at him, his true red and blue eyes reflecting the campfire. The sun was nearly fully set. “What do you remember between the tower and now?”
“Ah.” Shadow frowns “Notta lot. Et’s maor the memoree of how et felt? Dunno if that makes sense. Like ah knew et happend but ets like… a blurr. Yew ever just float around inna lake? Felt like that, but if the wader was heavier and ah was fully submerged.” Shadow took a sip of the tea mug he had been given earlier. “Ah assume et was the inside of the meer or wherever ah went when inside it. And then there ah was an y'all were shoutin’ an’ I panicked.”
“Inside the what?” Red tilted his head.
“The dark meer?”
“Oh, mirror. Sorry,” Red flushed embarrassment. “Well, now you can help us look when we get back to our era!”
“And get you a proper weapon.” Blue grunts, both offending and complimenting at the same time.
“Yewanna make me a sword??” Shadow asked, surprised. She only did that for very special circumstances, according to Green.
“No,” She waves a hand in the air, “Course not.” he deflates until she continues on. “You suck with swords, Hylia knows how you’re part of Link.” she snorts. “No. You should have some daggers. A few super sharp lightweight for throwing with your shadows and some curved ones for hand combat. Maybe some enchanted rings like Vet for your magic.” Blue was still looking down at the sword she was sharpening. “I can make those, but we would have to see the Minish for enchanting. Unless you wanna take a go with it,”
“Ah- uh-” Shadow’s notched ears were twitching up and down. The warmth that bloomed in his chest isn't new but the source was. It didn't escape notice the thought put into the answer. “Have yew thought about this befoar?”
Blue put the sword away, turning her attention to them now. “Well, yeah.” She says like that was the most obvious thing in the world. “Green was talking yesterday about how you fight.” How different it had been from Vio he was sure left unsaid, he had been so obvious thinking back on it. “Where you place your balance, how you swing, how you work in a group and all that nonsense.”
“It’s not nonsense!” He rises to the bait. “It's a real combat maneuver and analyzing strategy!” he crosses his arms and Red laughs. If their faces weren’t hint enough they never failed to act like siblings.
“Yeah, yeah nerd.” Blue grins at him, “It’s true though. You tend to fight on the balls of your feet like a boxer, similar to Red doing hand to hand. Oh you two should spar sometime! that would be fun to watch.”
“You mean fun to bet on,” Wind pipes in. “I give 20 on Shadow, he can move .” Shadow whips his head between them as the chain makes bets, about fifty-fifty. Even Time pitches in, that mischievous half smile on his face.
“So,” Legend sits next to Shadow. “How about a new round of 20 questions, with your answers?”
“Oh! Oh! Yeaaah!” Wind and Wild sit in a circle with them. “Quiz time! Favorite color? Food? trinket? weapon?
“Uh- Purple.” That makes Blue snort again.
“More like Violet .” That makes him blush.
“Shuddup!” He huffed, but the teasing had gotten him comfortable around them all. It was familiar. “Ah haven had a lotta foods, but ah really like Wild’s beef stew. And the little honey crunchy things.” He thinks for a moment, “Ah don have any trinkets, an the swords the Gerudo have are really cool.” He gets nods.
“What animals do you like? Mine are birds.” Sky offers, everyone knows that already but he feels bad asking without also sharing.
“Oh, yer big wons right?” he makes a motion of his arms like giant wings. “That sounds cool! But my dragon is cooler! Uh- Ah dunno what happened to her though.” Shadow looks questiongly at the colors who shrug.
“Haven’t seen it since the initial castle raid.”
“Hm. Well Ah took Vaio for a ride when that all first started. Ah bet she found a cave somewhere to hoard shit.” He grins really big.
“Wait wait- a literal dragon?” Wild puts his hand up. “There are Dragons in my era but they're HUGE!”
“Well, she was big but ah wouldnt know the compare-esin.” He shrugs. Looking around now they were talking while most of the camp had settled in their bedrolls. Time was awake for the first watch as discussed Shadow would be second and Wars third. Wind was yawning and rubbing his eyes.
“Maybe yew should go to bed Sailer, et’s gettin layte.” he himself failed in fighting a yawn. His mouthful of predator teeth opened wide. “Aw dammnit now yew got me yawnin.”
“Well,” Legend moves to his own sack of blankets and pillow. “I for one am taking full advantage of being off watch duty” he gives a mock salute to Time and plops into his bedding. “G’night.”
“Night Leg,” Wind is giving in. “Ugh just when we were getting started. Will you tell me more about Vio sometime? You sound really close.”
“…Sure, Wind.” Shadow gets a sad wistful look before shaking it away. “G’night.”
The weeks passed similarly, Shadow always surprised but happy at his welcome.Their fighting got a lot smoother. Green helped him practice with a team dynamic and Shadow got to show off more of his powers. He was finding more and more new things he could do too. They were in their own world for a few days time by now.
Shadow was sitting on a nice bench in the middle of town, just gazing out. People bustled about. There was always homely chatter at a base noise level. Someone laughing, people gossiping, a gruff old man complaining about the increase in egg prices despite it being only 2 rupees. Watching everyone living their lives felt special. Like he was in the middle of real honest life discovering what it meant. They were so close to the heart of Hyrule. Occasionally he’d spot one of the Links shopping and running about. He caught parts of a conversation from the Vet chatting with Wars about some lady's atrocious outfit clash as they passed. Shadow smiled as Wind ran around place to place discovering the Minish and trying to convince Wild they were real.
He tried not to mind when people glared at him, they didn’t know any better. He’d say it was fair, honestly, he had been one hell of a menace. Although, with some of the not so whispered comments he was beginning to think it was just how he looked. He was debating sinking away into the comfort of the cool Shadows when he saw someone run by with glasses and a stack of books to the library. Nostalgia struck him in force. Vio reading in the rare calm times in the tower when his hyper ass finally settled down. The soft peaceful expression he had while reading, how it twisted into furrows or tiny smiles or clenched teeth as he devoured information and fantasy alike.
He missed him horribly.
Shadow wished they were in a position to look for him. Unfortunately the colors had guaranteed Vio wasn’t anywhere near. He could only rely upon rumors and hearsay for information at the moment. They had scoured every inch possible around the mainlands.
He knows Vio would go far to hide. Hell, he might even be in another country at this point! Shadow looked up at the warm blue sky. It made his chest ache to think about him. He had long since convinced himself the smiles and laughter he remembered were true. They had to be, if Vio left to search for the magic to find him again.
Red had explained he had stolen books on ancient magic, similar to his own but sinister. Outlawed everywhere for its heinous nature and corrupting properties. They had explained Zelda described it as something wicked, dangerous, and as old as the clay beneath their feet. Maybe that’s what attracted Vio to it in the first place, Shadow’s chest reverberated with a low hum. He was lost in thoughts now, the world around him disappearing. This magic situation worried him. He wished that Hylia, or whoever was giving clues and sending portals could help him find his Vio. Help him with whatever he had gotten himself into without someone there to be his restraint.
Shadow gnawed on his overworked lip. This was a bad habit he just couldn't break. Even when he tasted the little blood from breaking skin. He needed him to be okay, he held his heart. Vio was the very reason he had turned good in the first place. Shadow even dared say he might love the man, no matter what he had now become.
“Stop biting your lip.” Green scared him, making him jumped comically.
“Shit!” Shadow pulled back the little shadow ball he’d brought up on instinct. “Don’t do that!”
Green laughed and sat next to him. His hair flowed with the light breeze that always seemed to follow him around. “Haha, sorry I wasn’t trying to scare you. Thinking about Vio?”
“Howdya know?” he brings his foot up, putting his boot on the bench seat and resting his arm over the bent knee.
“There’s a certain look you get. And destroying your poor bottom lip.” Green swings his feet back and forth. “Do you wanna talk about it?”
He hesitates. He does trust Green, but he isn’t used to talking about his emotions. “Ah’m worried. His brain scares me, what he can do.” Shadow admits, “Ah know he doesn’ mean to think those things sometymes, et only comes from an analyticul view. But Vaioh bein’ emotional is terrifyin’. Who knows what he’d do? He promised once to keep a limet on what he researched or experimened with, but that was when ah was here. He has this dezayre to learn.” Shadow forms a shape with his hands while he speaks. It was another tell of his, speaking with his hands. Green listens patiently while he rambles. “Et’s like some kinda need, like when yew get thirsty, he needs et to survive. An idea just gits into his head an he has to solve et. Like et would hurt him if he didn’. He described et once like this flush of heat that boils innis skin until he does et an’ if he doesn’ et just gets warmer an’ warmer an’ he cant think of anythin’ else.”
“Hm.” His face is pensive, brows furrowed and arms crossed. “That’s concerning to say the least.”
“Well that’s why ah’m makin’ fayces!” Shadow huffs a laugh, “Ah just hope we aren’ too late when we find him.” Green claps his shoulder.
“I’m sure we’ll get there in time, Shadow. Besides, you’re back! He can’t exactly do the whole crazy magic off the deep end kinda ritual if you’re already in existence right?”
“Ah guess so,” Shadow automatically ducks as someone throws a drink at him and it flies past. That was the fifth one today already! Green jumps and glares at the civilian.
“Hey!! That was rude!”
“Et’s fine, Green. They’ve been doin’ that awl day.” He waves him off, standing up. “Ah should probably git back to Blue anyway, she was workin’ on those daggers.” He turns a fangy grin at him, changing the subject. “An’ ah would love to try those babies out!”
Green looks like he might push the subject, but the stranger was gonna already once they realized who Green was. Scurried off like a rat. “Alright.”
“We can review layter, but ah did write down some stuff the towns people were sayin’. Et could just be gossip, but some of the little guys,” He means the Minish, “Were real helpfull. There could be some mareit to a few. When we got everyone together we should make a map of where y'all have checked around.”
“That’s a good idea,” He nods, only a pace behind Shadow. “Why didn’t I think of that?”
“Ah dunno, maybe Ah’m the brains now.” He teased, “Ah hold the brain cell today, sorry nawt sorry…” he trails off, “There’ve been a lotta mentions about a town of the Southside-a Hyrule. An archur that killed a HInox that took villagers in a town, ah couldn’ catch a name but that’s a pretty good lead. Ah’m sure we wouldn’ be able to reach it before the next swap, though.”
Red had joined up while Shadow was mid-sentence. “It’s a good start! Maybe we’ll appear closer next time!” Always the optimist, Shadow appreciated it. He ruffled his pretty blonde curls in affection. “And if it doesn’t work out, then at least we can check out if there are any more monsters. Hinox is a weird monster to be out in deep woods.”
“Unless it’s not a Hinox from our era,” Green adds.
“That’s trew.” Shadow’s hood tip curls up in a circle: curiosity. He had been letting it do its thing since he transformed back into himself. Twilight laughed at him that it was similar in movement to a cat’s tail. “Thanks for listnenin’ to me go on an’ on today.”
Red skips up closer, giving him a sly side hug. “It’s not rambling nonsense if it’s important to you.”
“Way to use my words again’t me.” Shadow huffed, but accepted it nonetheless. “C’mon slow asses, Blue’s waiting.”
“Hey,” Green started softly one night. They were having a calm night. Everyone is full from Wild’s amazing cooking, the immediate area clear of monsters, and just sitting or playing or crafting. “Can I ask something?
“...Sure, Wind.” Shadow gets a sad wistful look before shaking it away.
“That’s concerning to say the least.” “Well that’s why ah’m makin’ fayces!” Shadow huffs a laugh, “Ah just hope we aren’ too late when we find him.” Green claps his shoulder. “I’m sure we’ll get there in time, Shadow. Besides, you’re back! He can’t exactly do the whole crazy magic off the deep end kinda ritual if you’re already in existence right?” “Ah guess so,” Shadow automatically ducks as someone throws a drink at him and it flies past. That was the fifth one today already! Green jumps and glares at the civilian. “Hey!! That was rude!” “Et’s fine, Green. They’ve been doin’ that awl day.” He waves him off, standing up. “Ah should probably git back to Blue anyway, she was workin’ on those daggers.” He turns a fangy grin at him, changing the subject. “An’ ah would love to try those babies out!” Green looks like he might push the subject, but the stranger was gonna already once they realized who Green was. Scurried off like a rat. “Alright.” “We can review layter, but ah did write down some stuff the towns people were sayin’. Et could just be gossip, but some of the little guys,” He means the Minish, “Were real helpfull. There could be some mareit to a few. When we got everyone together we should make a map of where y'all have checked around.” “That’s a good idea,” He nods, only a pace behind Shadow. “Why didn’t I think of that?” “Ah dunno, maybe Ah’m the brains now.” He teased, “Ah hold the brain cell today, sorry nawt sorry…” he trails off, “There’ve been a lotta mentions about a town of the Southside-a Hyrule. An archur that killed a HInox that took villagers in a town, ah couldn’ catch a name but that’s a pretty good lead. Ah’m sure we wouldn’ be able to reach it before the next swap, though.” Red had joined up while Shadow was mid-sentence. “It’s a good start! Maybe we’ll appear closer next time!” Always the optimist, Shadow appreciated it. He ruffled his pretty blonde curls in affection. “And if it doesn’t work out, then at least we can check out if there are any more monsters. Hinox is a weird monster to be out in deep woods.” “Unless it’s not a Hinox from our era,” Green adds. “That’s trew.” Shadow’s hood tip curls up in a circle: curiosity. He had been letting it do its thing since he transformed back into himself. Twilight laughed at him that it was similar in movement to a cat’s tail. “Thanks for listnenin’ to me go on an’ on today.” Red skips up closer, giving him a sly side hug. “It’s not rambling nonsense if it’s important to you.” “Way to use my words again’t me.” Shadow huffed, but accepted it nonetheless. “C’mon slow asses, Blue’s waiting.”

i hesitated on posting this, i am almost ashamed, but the damage has been done. i have been told that we are in need of cringe SO MAMA HAS SUPPLIED 🔥 get ready
also, sometimes i refer the "reader" as "yn" or just use "you" 🕺
combining both of my worlds into one, this is lengthy.
undertale!yn/reader and rise of the guardians ok hear me out (or don't)
in other words, welcome to monster!yn crushing on the guardians, and having joking around with jack frost, he kind of reminds yn of someone they know..
i also want to point out that i'm not never sure about yn hitting on jack, he may have been alive for 300+ years, yet he has the appearance of a teenager, and im pretty sure he was around 17 when he died??
yn's kinda old. in monster years, at least. more to be explained soon.
~
if you've been around my blog for a while, i watched rise of the guardians again after YEARS, and i have spiraled since. around this time, i was also in my undertale spiral lol (more coming soon) and bc my brain refuses to shut up, i was thinking, 'why not combine both?'
i'll show u why 🙄 am i proud of where i am in life? no, not really but im vibing, but man oh man i have to express myself now
moving on 😏😼 time for the content,
- takes place during the ROTG movie😏
more under the cut 🤤
•••
yn is a monster from the undertale universe 🕺, and somehow finds their way to the rotg universe and is like
"🤨🤨?? wdym ur the toothfairy????"
honestly this could go in SO many different directions. for examply, let's say yn has magic similar to the skele bros and then some other stuff? i dunno like this bitch can float or something 😼 space and time manipulation, honestly this is up to y'all, as i may or may not write and post more so please give me ideas
yn is aware of timelines, resets, saves, alternate universes, and has some knowledge of the science behind it, has theories, probably doesn't know too much about quantum mechanics, but knows enough.
sans is more in tune with that..
yn arrives somewhere on the 'surface,' as far as they know, and is immediately, slightly panicking. i mean, who wouldn't? you're just chilling on someone's couch relaxing one moment and all of a sudden *poof* and now you're standing on some GRASS???
..maybe papyrus' spaghetti needs more time in the oven.
next!
-
as far as yn's concern, monsters haven't resurfaced yet in their current timeline and maybe it's best to lay low, if possible. they also notice a lack of magic in their area, which is off-putting. they are not so sure as to what's going on.
did they jump timelines? somehow FAR off in the future? or was it jumping universes? oh god, where's the line drawn from jumping universes to appearing in a different dimension? what classifies as an alternate universe as well as a different dimension?
-
it's gets REALLY weird when manny, the man in the moon himself, is somehow aware of what has happened and alerts the guardians. coincidentally, right after showing the big four™ the next new guardian.
did manny do this? did he put yn in this predicament ?
was it gASSter? what an asshole.
-
ok so i was gonna have a segment here of yn meeting everyone, including jack frost and whatnot but i straight up have no ideas LMAOOOO send help
anyway
-
everyone's confused as to why yn can see the guardians.
yn is especially confused when THEY are confused when yn mentions the monster race and that damn mountain that has them trapped. yikes, imagine yn's shock and panic upon learning that there is no mt. ebott, that there is no monster race that yn speaks of.
also, yn's not a believer. how could they believe in santa claus and the toothfairy when they go through endless cycles of resets? in fact, they carry some nihilistic beliefs. yn's not insufferable nor are they miserable company. far from it actually.
yn likes to believe they are a delight to be around.
-
yn has a theory that it may have to do with the magic in a monster's soul.
oh man. how do you explain monsters, monster magic, and souls to these people??????
matter of fact, how will THEY explain themselves and their roles to you?
-
also how do you explain the easter bunny to yn? "what is an "easter bunny" and why r u so tall" yn says to a bewildered bunnymund.
"What do you mean 'what is an easter bunny'???"
"those bigass ears and u didn't hear me????????" what an inpression you've made yn. at least jack found it amusing.
-
yn just wants to go home.
god how they miss and love doing absolutely nothing with best friend sans™ and supervise over papyrus and undyne while they cook.
...not to say that they haven't been doing that, doing nothing. it's just different (and better) doing that back in their home.
just as much as they love doing nothing, they love being useful, which is kind of hard to keep track of. i mean, you hate doing stuff but you love being/feeling useful. clearly ya got something to work out. it's okay, i do as well
-
things are getting odd when yn is trying to explain the difference between the monster race and the monsters that the guardians know of.
like no man, yn is NOT going to "strike fear into the minds and souls of children for their own benefit and then eradicate all light and love from the world" stars, are you INSANE??? who put that narrative out there? but all yn can do is blankly stare and raise their eyebrow (bonebrow idk, whatever monster you are teehee)
...this is a very awkward monster lesson with professor yn™ about how monsters are of magic and their souls out of love, hope, and compassion. it also gets awkward when yn has to inform them about HoPe, LV, and/or EXP. yn isn't sure what to ignore, if they should withhold some information or tell them what it is. i mean, it IS factual, but yn hasn't actually fully trusted them.
at this point yn is just saying shit and probably doesn't make any sense but do they care? not at that moment, maybe they hit their head too hard. maybe this is just a dream? a real screwed up dream, that is.
-
yn has made the discovery that this is NOT a dream and that these people are old. like really, really old. their mind short circuits.
this gave yn the idea of telling them monster years and age. they explain that where they're from, monsters age differently than humans.
this led yn to reveal themselves being a boss monster, and how boss monsters age differently as well.
"boss monsters' souls can persist for a few moments after death." yn begins.
"there isn't really an explanation as to why. but for a human, it's because of their determination. now, monsters do not have enough physical matter to handle higher amounts of determination. remember when i mentioned what monsters are technically made of? because of the lack of physical matter, and that we cannot handle such amounts, humans are far stronger than us, with their physical forms.
as for a monster's age, specifically boss monster's, can only age when their offspring do. so in other words, we can live forever if we do not have a child. when a boss monster has a child, the power from the parents' souls, transfer to the child, aging both.
stands within reason that i can live forever. that is, if nothin happens to me and i don't have a kid."
man. what a lesson. everyone in the room seems to be listening closely, surprisingly so. though, it is inevitable that they get confused. they've been alive for many centuries, but they've never experienced this.
-
yn does not mention dusting.
yn does not mention the void.
yn does not mention timelines or alternate universes.
or resets.
they don't need to know that.
-
maybe yn should have began with telling the guardians the story of the war that started everything. maybe some confusion could've been avoided. oh well, yn couldn't care less, they're not a licensed professor, not like they have a guideline to follow. yn's too lazy to think straight.
"any questions? no? ok good!"
many questions left unanswered.
-
the amount of jokes, japes, and puns yn could make. imagine that.
-
......zzz zzzz zZZZ
it's no surprise that yn and the sandman are now officially nap buddies™
"please give me a good dream for once."
the sandman is concerned... 'for once??'
you don't elaborate.
he's kind of a cutie tho.. and good lord he's shorter than sans,
stars, he's adorable. you resist the urge to pick him up and squish him. but manny knows how much you want to.
-
toothiana is certified woman crush™.
tooth stares at yn's white teeth from across the room, barely able to contain herself. she's practically vibrating where she stands—flies.
until she cracks.
yn's teeth separated in shock, beautifully sharp canines on display, is that a gold tooth?
stars, tooth is such a beaut. yn shamelessly admiring her colors.
it also seems that tooth's little companions seem to have taken quite the liking to the monster. their wings fluttering excitedly, yn swears they could hear desperate squeaks, begging for their attention. man, a wave and a shy, friendly wink destroyed them all.
...did one of them just faint?
-
yn was lucky their eyes hadn't threw them under the bus and expose them to queen tooth and sandy.
man, that'd be bad. yn couldn't imagine the embarrassment and would not handle any teasing.
-
unfortunately life hates yn and fucks them at every given moment.
yn is staring at the huge ass bunny that's across the room. 'is bro a bunny???? i don't know wtf' as if this wasn't already talked about during introductions.
they can't help but also admire the large figure, now known to yn as bunnymund. oh my stars, he looks so cool, borderline attractive, they thought.
at one point, yn was barely to notice, but they did anyway. they felt the slightest change to their eyes.
'ah shit.'
small hearts had manifested in their eyes for a split second.
and that damn bunny noticed, and gave them a smile.
yn had almost dusted on the spot and teleported away, much to the dismay of the damn bunny.
and his accent. STARS, the accent. yn's about to loose all composure.
-
when yn finally comes face-to-face, (or not, this guy is tall, and i am not💔), yn's dumb mouth had to open.
"there's no way papa hunka hunka over here is santa claus." is how yn decided to make a fool of themselves, yet again.
'this man is lowkey so fine FUCK.'
yn couldn't help but giggle a little upon remembering sansta.
wonder what sans is up to.
"????????"
anyway, north's workshop is pretty sick. the elves are fun to mess with, same with the yetis. in fact, yn had shown a bit of their magic on one of the elves. their magic is actually their favorite color, which is always a nice plus. there was a glow of their magic surrounding the elf as yn moved them slowly across the room, being careful not to harm the laughing elf. he seems to be having a good time.
rock on elf🔥
sometimes yn likes to mess with the yetis slightly. there's a yeti holding a toy? not anymore. it's floating above the yeti. there's a yeti looking for something? that something is then floating around the yeti, taunting him.
poor phil 😔
yn is curious if they are on the nice list or on the naughty list. this is a bit of a mystery since yn isn't really from around here so...
regardless, yn likes to think they are a good noodle.
for the most part.
-
that guy with the frosty blue hoodie is a different story. he reminds yn a bit of sans with the blue hoodie, the white hair, the jokes he makes and the pranks he pulls.
way too much energy though..
but he was rather easygoing.
he had that carefree attitude, all he wanted to do was to freeze shit and have fun and honestly, yn could get down with that. still too much energy.
they've been in snowdin countless of times / they live(d) in snowdin for fucks sake.
remember the lesson with the elf? during the lesson, yn threw the elf in jack's direction, effectively hitting him in the face.
"...that wasn't me."
"I just SAW YOU????"
yn views this guy as that annoying younger brother. he's constantly messing with them, gets a good laugh from them though. yn likes to move his staff with their magic whenever he's leaning on it, just to see him take a tumble.
-
yn had to restrain themselves from literally giving them heart eyes (again) AND punch jack. they don't even trust that easy and NOW they're folding to a group of guardians???? strike them down now.
... it also took a lot of effort to not do a check on all of them. yn does not know if they'll be able to feel or know. they don't even know if they can. do souls manifest here like they do where they're from? they just have to! maybe.
yn wants to view their stats, see if they're dangerous. man, they should have done that in the beginning. but now look where they stand. yn wasn't always so careless. what's happened now?
'geez, people show you kindness and give you attention and all of a sudden you're down bad." my fault, brain 🧠.
though, considering they are the "guardians of childhood" and whatnot, yn doesn't perceive them as a threat.
...but they still want to do that check.
-
i'd be honored if y'all could give me more ideas for this writing 🙏 the cringe-fest must continue.
i want to figure out:
•how the five meet yn
•if yn was present during that fiasco of jack frost finding out he's a guardian
•what would the five stats be like? what about soul traits?
•meet pitch at tooth's palace? 👀 all pitch really has to do is make eye contact and knows yn's fears. now that's a can of worms. maybe yn has to finally discuss "dusting". eugh..
if you find this cringe, KISS MY ASS 🗣️
or! if you have something better to add or adjust, i'm all ears👂, or eyes 👀 since im readin
love u bye!

I sure do love a distraction hiding from the fact that they don't mention, I dunno, why this teenager with a mental disorder (see gender dysphoria) and a bunch of hetro sexual, basic bitches with nothing better to do but trust a media bought out by companies and made to ignite minor social outrage to cause sales...
Hey, wait. Why did this teen beat up these girls? Anyone wanna talk about what they did, or are y'all gonna ignore how they only talk about the dangerous and deadly girl beating them up?
Equally.
"leering"
Bit of a strong word innit, something like this tends to be noted before hand with other activity, like stealing panties. Gee, I sure do wonder why this social media isn't talking about the previous engagements and instead highlights "her rowing Activites made her teammates uncomfortable"
Which could mean any number of things. But within context of the next quote, if they'd seen tittes they respond "uhhh, yeah" before being suspended.
*sips tea*
Am I getting that right?
Also, if some girl, for some reason, feels more comfortable with male pronouns because they're born with a hunky body.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not gonna argue with someone who's able to wrangle a horse from panicked gallop to exhausted trot.
Anyone wanna tell me about the previous comments that aren't some media trick to make a bunch of dumb sluts with nothing better to do think a certain way about this specific STUDENT.
Because this STUDENT, lashing out against her fellow STUDENTS, is usually indicative of something worse happening before hand.
And I'd know, because I've stopped my own share of fights from happening lol.

Wally didn’t come into the coffee shop for almost two whole months after their fight—not that she blamed him—she was still vaguely upset with his harsh words. But she had to admit that she’d gotten used to his warm presence every morning, and not seeing him messed her up more than she thought it would. More often than not, she found herself absentmindedly staring at the door, waiting for him to walk in with that stupid grin on his face and proceed to boast and recall whatever exciting exploits he and his friends had accomplished earlier. It hurt not to see or hear him, and she realized that Wally had become the greatest friend she’d ever had.
Barry still came in though, and if he knew who she really was, he didn’t say anything because he still acted like he always did. So, even if Wally were still angry with her, at least he’d kept his word and not said anything to anyone about her identity. Which if she were honest, tasted bitter when she thought about the price she paid for his silence—his friendship.
It was getting colder again, which meant a lot more people were coming and going from the shop, so at least she could take her mind off her feelings for at least a few hours. Until she got home, and all she was left with were them and a whole lot of silence to think about them with. Sometimes she thought about calling Wally, at least to hear his voice. Hell, even if their last words to one another were frigid, she missed the interaction. She’d give anything to hear him, even taking another round of cold snipes and trades.
She heaved a sigh and wiped down the last few tables of the evening rush, smiling politely at the people who were still sitting at tables or so across. Today had been hectic and there’d been no let up of customers until the last hour of the shift. She’d never thought they’d run out of coffee, but it came close to that a couple hours ago.
The bell above the door chimed and with her back turned to the entrance, she didn’t see who came in, but with another barista at the counter ready to take the final orders of the evening, she didn’t particularly care. All she wanted to do was go home and crawl into bed. Sleep until hell froze over. That, or until her feet stopped hurting—whichever came first. She let out a quiet laugh that made her chest ache—Wally would’ve found that absolutely hilarious and probably shot back about how if anyone had the right to complain about their feet hurting, it would be him. God, she really missed Wally.
“Melisandre,” someone called quietly, and she glanced over her shoulder, eyes widening when she saw the familiar red head behind her.
Speak and the Devil will appear.
“Wally,” she breathed, voice thick with shock, and before she could stop herself, she was throwing her arms around his waist, squeezing him tightly.
He returned her hug in fold. “I guess I wasn’t the only one who missed this,” he quipped.
She huffed a laugh and pulled away. “Believe it or not, it doesn’t feel right when you don’t come around.” Her eyes narrowed almost sadly. “I’ve missed seeing you, Wally.”
“Same here,” he replied, then glanced at the clock above the espresso machines. “Are you almost off? I want to take you somewhere.”
Nodding, she took a look at her watch. “I get off in about ten minutes. Can you wait that long, or will you perish from boredom?”
“I think I can survive ten minutes, Melisandre,” he retorted and collapsed into one of the booths. “Hurry though, I don’t want to be late.”
She rolled her eyes and deadpanned, “Wally, I can’t speed time up. That’s not how that works.”
“Works for me.” He proudly stated.
“I wonder why?” she retorted sarcastically, then gave him a smile before wandering off to clean the last tables.
***
Despite the fact that Wally could run anywhere he wanted in less than a second, he still owned a vehicle and that was downright baffling in her opinion.
“Dick got it for me.” He suddenly said, shifting the car into drive and she blinked internally wincing at the mention of her brother.
“I didn’t say anything.”
“I know you didn’t, (Y/N). But you were thinking it.”
“Uh huh,” she doubted and crossed her arms over her chest. “What am I thinking about right now?”
“Knowing you? Probably food, I know you like to ea—” he dissolved into laughter when she reached over and shoved at his side.
“No, I don’t you ass.”
“Really? Because I distinctly remember the time I took a fry off your basket and you looked at me like I’d killed your favorite dog.” (Y/N) glared at him and he pointed at her. “Yeah, that’s the look right there.”
“I don’t like sharing my food,” she said. “You should’ve known better.” Her eyes drifted to the windshield. “So, where are we going?”
“S.T.A.R. labs.”
(Y/N) cocked a brow and stared at him. “Really? S.T.A.R. labs? What’s there?”
Wally shrugged. “Wanted to show you a bit of what it’s like to be me.”
Her eyes narrowed. “You mean you came to see me after all this time and the first thing we’re doing is going to a lab so you can show my what you do?”
His gaze momentarily darted to hers. “Is that a problem?”
“I dunno, I just figured we’d go eat a diner somewhere and apologize to each other.”
“Are you sorry?”
“Beg pardon?”
“Are you sorry? For all of the last three years?”
“Not particularly,” she griped, and he shrugged again.
“Then I’m not sorry for what we said to each other that night.” he let out a sigh. “But I’m willing to let it go, because I’d rather us just have a disagreement than lose what our friendship over it.” he looked at her. “What do you say?”
(Y/N) stared at him for a long moment, then she sighed and nodded. “…Yeah, I agree.”
Wally smiled. “Good.” He turned the wheel and pulled into the parking lot of the lab. “But there is food there for us, so you’ll be satiated anyways.”
“Hardy har har. Shut up, Wallace West,” she shot back, climbing out of the car. Her eyes traveled up the tall building. “Wow, this place is huge, isn’t it?”
She felt him stand next to her. “Yeah. Did you know they had to replace the glass windows a whole bunch of times because Barry and I kept shattering them when we’d run up ‘em?”
(Y/N) blinked, unsurprisingly stating, “No, I did not. But I can see that happening.”
He started towards the doors, leaving her to follow and soon they were stepping into an elevator. She watched him hit the rooftop button and she looked at him.
“If you’re showing me what you do, why are we going to the roof? Shouldn’t we be going to some laboratory inside?”
Wally chuckled. “Patience, young padawan.” He ignored her rolling eyes. “Food first.”
“Oh, dinner in the moonlight? Well, aren’t you just the romantic.” (Y/N) cocked her elbow on his shoulder and grinned. “Don’t tell me you fell in love with me all that time we spent away from each other?”
This time, he was rolling his eyes. “Hardly, (Y/N). I just figured you’d want a nice evening where you weren’t staring at your bland kitchen walls.”
She scoffed and pulled away from him. “Look, I’d paint and hang shit up but the landlord wouldn’t be happy.”
“Since when do you care about making people happy? You’re typically a ‘I’m going to make someone unhappy’ type of person.” Her eyes shifted to his and he waved a hand. “Not what you’re thinking about—I was talking about the coffee shop.”
For a moment, she didn’t say anything, then she hummed. “There’s nothing more fun than telling someone I’m going to get the manager and then do my magic little spin and cheerfully greet, ‘Hi, I’m the manager’.” She grinned. “Does wonders to see Karen’s little head explode.”
Wally chuckled and the elevator dinged. The doors split open, and they walked out onto the rooftop. Surprisingly, the roof was enclosed and lighted, giving her perfect vision and when her eyes fell on them, her heart seemed to stop in her chest, and her feet to a halt.
They stood from the table they’d been sitting at and with her heart hammering against her ribcage, she immediately spun on her heel, intent to flee back into the elevator, only to come chest to chest with Wally, who wrapped his arms around her waist—effectively keeping her in place.
Her feet were still moving on their own accord and she shoved against his chest, trying to get back to the lift. “Wally, move.”
“No, (Y/N),” he murmured, and she could feel her breath starting to come in and out in panicked spurts.
“Wally, please, I’m begging you, move.” She stared up at him and plead, “Please don’t make me do this. I’ll do anything, just please let me leave.”
His evergreen eyes were narrowed in pity, but there was a firmness that rested within that pity and he shook his head. “I can’t let you leave, (Y/N).”
“Wally, please,” she begged, arms starting to go limp against his chest, the tears flooding her vision. “Don’t make me do this.”
“You’ve gotta stop running, (Y/N).”
She couldn’t help the sob that escaped her, and she rested her cheek against his chest. “I hate you…so much.”
“I know,” he murmured.
“You’re a liar and I hate you.”
Wally sighed. “I know you do.”
(Y/N)’s face contorted in anger despite her pain. “I should’ve left the night we fought. I knew you wouldn’t be capable of keeping it from him. From any of them,” she sneered and suddenly pulled away from his grip, eyes flashing with rage.
“This wasn’t your right to tell!” she shouted at him and shoved him in the chest. Wally didn’t budge an inch and she shoved him again. “God, I was so naïve to assume you’d keep your fucking mouth shut! That’s one thing you’re not capable of doing!”
She growled and turned from him, running her hands over her face. “Three years of relative peace shot straight down the fucking drain,” she shot him a teary glower. “All because of you and your big bleeding heart for your best friend.”
Wally frowned. “I’m doing what I think is best, (Y/N).”
“Forcing me to meet them isn’t what’s best, Wally! I didn’t want to be found! I didn’t want to be associated with them again!” she snarled and in an instance her anger cooled, her shoulders drooping as she lamented, “…This wasn’t a decision you should’ve made. This was never your right to decide. For me…or for them.”
“Perhaps it wasn’t,” he agreed. “But if you weren’t going to draw the line in the sand, I was.”
(Y/N) met his gaze and held it for a long moment, then she turned her attention to the four men who were standing in front of the table, their expressions a mixture of regret, anger, and relief.
She let out a long sigh and reached up to rub at her temples. “Let me guess, I’m not allowed to leave until we’ve had our picture-perfect reunion scene?”
Wally nodded. “The elevator is sadly,” his hand shot backwards and with a sharp crackle of lightning, the light went out. “out of order.”
(Y/N) shook her head in disappointment at him then declared, “The next time I run, I’m settling in a city that has no superheroes.”
“Good plan,” he quipped. “But I don’t think there’ll be anymore running.”
She got up in his face and hissed, “Then you underestimate my feelings regarding the brothers and father before me.”

I just thought that maybe a shapeshifter AU would be nice? Maybe without the "classic animals"? Things like Tommi being a bear are too obvious 🙃
Funny you should ask! In my superhero AU summary I struggled coming up with Aleksi's superpower a lot, and at some point I was almost like fuck it, I'ma make him be able to turn into a little black bat or something for no reason at all 😂 So here, have some bat!Aleksi I guess 🦇 Also, this got a little out of hand again, dunno how that happened.. 🤷‍♀️
(PS. I get the need for variation in the "Tommi is a bear" trope but I just wanna say that this bear!Tommi fic by @askeataiho is so cute and hot and y'all should read it 🥰)
(PPS. I kept repeating a certain name waaaay before it was ever mentioned, I tried to fix them all but if a few still remain, don't let it bother you too much 😅🙈)
Aleksi never really knew what the purpose of him being able to take the form of a human from time to time was; the other bats that lived in the attic of the old town church seemed to not have such a gift. Nevertheless, it provided Aleksi lots of fun he didn't get to experience as a bat, such as buying and eating ice cream from the church park's kiosk with the coins he stole from the church's collection bag (the black salmiakki one was his favourite) and watching people pass him by as he sat on a bench, sometimes hours a day. At dusk, when the atmosphere in the church park became uneasy without the protection of the daylight, especially on Friday nights, Aleksi took back his animal form and flew into the belltower, awakening his dull companions, who would then assemble in a cauldron of bats and fly out into the night, leaving Aleksi to sleep in peace.
Until one evening, his peace was disturbed by a young man rushing in to the attic. Panting heavily and drops of sweat showing on his temple, it was clear to Aleksi this man was in great distress as he slammed the small wooden door closed and looked around the room with panicked eyes. He spotted the old out-of-order organ bench and started pulling it towards the door, but it was too heavy for his slim arms. When the man slumped against the bench, the panting turning into hopeless whimpering, Aleksi took a firmer grip of the rafter he was hanging from and took his human form. He dropped himself on the wooden attic floor softly, trying not to frighten the man. It seemed the man's own sobs covered the thump of Aleksi falling on the floor, and for a while he just observed the weeping figure.
The man seemed to make an attempt at collecting himself as he took a few deep breaths before proceeding in his efforts to move the bench. Aleksi figured he should make his presence known to the man.
"Hi."
The man jumped and held a hand to his chest, falling on his bottom on the floor as he turned to Aleksi's direction. He didn't say anything, but his eyes were wide open, filled with fear.
"Are you alr--"
"Don't touch me!" the man shouted and backed off towards the closed door through which he had appeared just a moment ago.
"I won't," Aleksi answered and lifted his hands in a conciliatory gesture. "I mean no harm."
The man was trembling as he looked at Aleksi, the moonlight from the attic window revealing the wet trails striping his cheeks.
"What are you doing here?" the man asked him.
"I, umm, I sort of live here? What are you doing here?"
"You can't live in the belltower," the man ignored his question. His gaze averted from Aleksi as he looked around the room, as if looking for something.
"I don't know what to tell you," Aleksi shrugged. "Tell me, why are you here?"
The man was still breathing heavily, his back pressed against the door.
"I'm not going back there," he said with a chocked-up voice.
"Back where?"
More deep breaths, then an unsettling answer.
"The cage."
Aleksi was not keen on knowing the details of that.
"Is there someone after you?"
The man nodded. He pursed his lips together, and Aleksi feared he was going to start crying again.
A loud slam sounded from somewhere below them, and the man looked at Aleksi like he was his last lifeline.
"Let's move this thing then," Aleksi stepped to the bench and started pushing it. After a moment's consideration, the man seemed to understand what Aleksi was doing and came to help.
When the bench was finally in front of the door, blocking it from opening, should someone try to come in, they collapsed against it, soaked from sweat.
Aleksi took a moment to observe the man next to him. His shoulder-length blond hair was messy and dirty, and his dark red leather vest was ripped from the seam, as if he had been in a fight. There were large holes on the knees of his pants, although during his hours of people-watching, Aleksi had figured it must have been more a stylistic choice rather than a sign of low-quality garments.
Then he saw that the side of the man's pantleg was soaked in something red.
"Are you hurt?"
But before Aleksi got his answer, there was loud banging on the door behind their backs. Aleksi got so frightened that he changed into his bat form and flew to the ceiling. He watched as the man looked around himself, eyes widened with panic and fear again, until he dived behind a pile of assorted planks and ropes and crumbled concrete, just in time to hide himself when the door was broken and two men entered the room. One of them was holding a hand net, the other wielding a gun.
"Did you see it come here?" the other asked.
"I swear," the one with the gun replied.
Aleksi held his breath as they approached the blond man's hideout. He had seemed so shaky and troubled that Aleksi found it impossible to let the intruders get him, whatever they were planning on doing with him if they did.
He didn't hesitate as he flew towards the man with the net, slapping his face with his wings as he flew by. The man yelped and, attempting to swat the bat away from his face, ended up shoving his friend who swore loudly and dropped his gun on the floor. Aleksi kept flapping his wings rapidly at the men's face level, until suddenly he felt his wings get tangled in something and he was pushed to he floor.
"God, I hate bats. Always given me the creeps," the man muttered. To his horror, Aleksi realised he had been caught in the hand net.
"Now where is that stupid creature?"
"Chh-chh-chh, come here puss, where are youuuu," the other man called.
"You gonna catch it with your bare hands, huh?"
"Can't be that bad, have you seen the size of it? My nana's old ragdoll's bigger than that pathetic little thing. Hell nah I'm gonna let that bat to my face again," Aleksi's capturer said and spat at his direction. "Besides, we've got that anesthetic shot of yours for that purpose, don't we."
The men tiptoed around the attic, and Aleksi tried to untangle himself from the net, but he only seemed to get himself more trapped.
When both men's backs were turned to the pile of planks, Aleksi saw a shadow climb up a log pillar, up to the rafters above their heads. The shadow stopped moving, with only a short stripe of it swaying from left to right. To Aleksi, it looked like a tail.
"You sure it came here? I mean, I'm not sure that bat would still be alive if-"
"That cripple of a cat couldn't catch a mouse if it was given to it on a silver plate. Now shut up, or I'll shut it for you."
"Always a pleasure working with you..." the other man mumbled under his breath. The shadow near the ceiling tensed as the men kept on squabbling.
When the one with the gun straightened his back and grunted, touching a hand to his lower back, the shadow made its move and jumped to his neck with an angry hiss.
The man screamed and dropped his gun again, and when he twisted and turned with the attempt to get the shadow off his back, the light from the window showed Aleksi what the shadow really was: a dark-furred feline, with long claws that shone in the moonlight as they scratched the man's pale skin.
The other man was paralyzed, deaf to his friend's pleas for help, until the feline jumped back to the rafters and kept hissing at the man from there.
"Fuck this, the boss can come get his rabid rat himself," said the man who the feline had attacked, holding his palm against his neck. "Let's get the fuck out of here."
The men left, their swear words echoing in the bell tower as they went. When the voices quieted down, the feline jumped on the floor, and in a blink of an eye, the blond-haired man was crouching next to Aleksi, untagling his wings from the net. Once free, Aleksi took back his human form as well, immediately finding the other man's eyes and locking their gaze with his.
For a minute they just looked at each other as the realization of what just happened hit them.
"You're like me," Aleksi whispered.
The other man said nothing, but didn't flinch away when Aleksi shuffled closer, both of them sitting on their knees on the floor.
"What did the men want with you?"
The man swallowed and spoke:
"There's an exhibition," he said, "for creatures like you and me."
"What's an exhibition?"
The man shook his head.
"They put you in a cage and on display for people to gawk at you and throw you peanuts. Screaming at you to do the thing. Pray you'll never see it with your own eyes."
Aleksi made a mental note to keep that in mind for the next Sunday mass.
"But you escaped," he noted. He glanced at the dark stain on the man's pant leg. It seemed to have grown since the last time he was in his human form.
"I did. But the others stayed behind."
Aleksi looked at the man in the eye again. He noticed the unusually bright shade of blue in them.
"Do you have a name?" Aleksi asked the man.
"They call me Joel," he answered.
"I'm Aleksi."
Joel was quiet for a while before he opened his mouth again.
"Who gave you that name?"
Aleksi was aware of the name-giving tradition humans had; he had been a witness to enough christenings to have figured it out. One time he had heard the name Aleksi being given to an exceptionally calm baby (normally they all screamed in horror as the priest poured water on them; sometimes Aleksi sneaked in the sacristy to make sure the water they used for such events would be lukewarm enough to not cause the poor babies any discomfort). He didn't know much about names, but Aleksi sounded nice when he said it out loud.
"Myself," he smiled shyly. He felt oddly proud about it. Joel accepted his answer with a nod.
"I'm sorry they hurt you, Aleksi. It's my fault."
"Out of the two of us, it looks like you're the one who's hurt," Aleksi pointed at Joel's leg.
"It's just a scratch," Joel dismissed Aleksi's concern. It didnt seem like just a scratch to Aleksi, but he didn't want to argue.
"We should get you out of here. In case they come back. I know a place where you'll be safe." The place Aleksi had in mind was a cave in the nearby forest, where he sometimes followed his fellow bats when he was bored enough. It was cold and damp and he didn't like it there very much, but he supposed it would serve as the perfect bolthole, at least until they figured out something better.
"No," Joel objected, "I can't leave without my friends."
Aleksi tried to understand; he had never had any friends, if the friendly man selling him ice cream didn't count.
"I see," he said, disappointed about the fact he'd lose the only creature he had ever met that was like him.
Suddenly Joel touched his hand, and Aleksi's breath caught in his throat.
"Will you help me rescue them?"
The blue eyes stared at him. How would they do it, a clueless bat and an injured cat? What use would they be in plotting the escape of many more like them?
Yet, he heard himself answer:
"Yes."

I imagine that most of them put on the headset out of free will as beta testers. Also, I imagine that the company is still up and running but it looks abandoned cuz almost every other employee realized the horrors of being trapped in the digital planes and left. Another reason why is cuz...how are all of the other (except pomni) still alive after years and years of being trapped there? Cuz they still posses their mortal bodies, so how are they getting nutrients n stuff to keep staying alive? The company probably has them all hooked up into... something...like the matrix.
Human pomni (or Pam as I like to call her) put on the headset cuz she was tired of the same old routine of going to work, sitting on a desk all-day only to come back home and drink her problems away. I imagine burn out took a toll on her and so she said "fuck it" and entered the circus. Now, a few plot holes can form with this:
1) why does she act all panicked and stuff? Didn't she enter willingly? Well i guess that it erases all of your memories prior to putting on the headset and so she forgot all of her suffering in the real world.
2) Where were all of the others before pomni entered the circus? The company probably said to all of the employees "hey y'all, this thing ain't done yet but do you wanna give it a try?" Some employees might've jumped in thinking that they could leave once they entered and other that actually knew bout that fact (like kinger) might've still entered cuz they spent their whole lives working on it so why wouldn't they try it out? Or a third option could be boredom, like Jax. I dunno.
Sorry for the rambling. My brain is going 100 miles an hour and I cannot stop.

It was supposed to stay as a blank sketch but I had the brilliant idea to colour it in- now I have to repeat it for the rest of the cast when I make their human versions- bravo face, bravo. AAAAAnyway I'm still in doubt on some of their roles but I did see a reblog bout kingers role in the circus by @bookoramaenderteeth so Imma role with that concept. Also I have no idea what Jax is supposed to be doing, the possible ideas are written right next to the sketch. I have a thing for grabbing the most expressive and we'll made characters and throwing them in my "average-fy" machine and they come out looking boring as fuck
Ps: I FORGOT TO COLOUR POMNIS PEN FKN DAMMIT

A\N: what's up with y'all dating Peter but also being the daughter of Tony? Hahaha I don't complain, wish that was real for me as well haha.
[Part 2]
_____________________
"Alright… careful, careful…" you hear your father's voice as you entered the building, school was over and all you wanted to do was go back home and eat something, relax and sleep all day, but of course, there wasn't a single normal day in your life, as the elevator to your dad's lab opens, you find Tony looking at a big container, it was covered with a black blanket so you couldn't see what was under it, Maybe a new suit he was working on?
"Hi" you smile, your dad turns around to greet you with a smile.
"Hello sweetie, how was school?" Tony gives you a soft kiss on the head.
"It was okay… What's that?" You point at the big container in front of you.
"That's-" Tony's words get interrupted by someone else's, the elevator opens and you see the one and only Peter Parker make his way to you both.
"Alright mister Stark I'm he...re…" Peter freezes in place when he sees you, you only look back at him and back at your father.
"Are you having some father-son quality time?" You roll your eyes at Peter and look back at Tony, knowing that whatever that was under that blanket wasn't none of your business, it was for Peter, like everything.
"It's not like that we're just…" Peter starts speaking, trying to explain to you, you look back at him and he closes his mouth, feeling like your eyes were daggers.
"I'll be in my room, have fun you guys" No one else said anything else, you only turned around to leave both men to whatever they had in their hands now.
Your day was going well, you ate something, you took a shower and you also slept all day after finishing your homework, meanwhile, for Peter and Tony it was all chaos, something went wrong, as Peter was trying to show his abilities to Tony, he fell against the container with the radioactive spiders.
Peter was quick enough to catch almost all of them with his speed, but it wasn't enough, a few of the spiders made their way through the ventilation system, trying to find a new home.
You were sleeping peacefully in your bed, having the sweetest of dreams, when you suddenly felt something biting your leg, you woke up screaming thinking it was a dream, but it felt too real for a dream, so you quickly checked your leg to see the spider.
"What the fuck?!" You screamed so loud that almost everyone in base could hear you. You quickly killed the spider and you threw it out of your window, thinking it wasn't such a big deal. With that, you went back to sleep as if nothing had happened.
Down in the laboratory Tony and Peter heard your scream, for Tony, it wasn't such a big deal, you were always screaming your lungs out, but for Peter, he felt that something was wrong, he felt an uneasy feeling in his chest, something was going on with you.
"Hey mister Stark.. Uh… So, is y/n okay?" Peter asked Tony, the man looked back at Peter with a soft look.
"Yes? Why?".
"Cause that was her screaming right?".
"Yes, that was my kid, but you have nothing to worry about, maybe she's getting angry cause she can't figure out something for her homework, or maybe she's playing video games or something…" Tony looks at Peter raising an eyebrow "You know what, I think that's enough for today, go back home to your aunt and… do whatever teenagers your age do, homework? I don't know…" Tony fakes a smile.
"Alright… uh, okay, yeah sure" Peter smiles grabbing his backpack and jacket, he gives one last look to the container feeling weird there was something wrong and he couldn't figure out what.
As he walked to the elevator, he couldn’t help himself but to push the button that would take him to the dorms, as the elevator door opened, he walked out looking for your room, as he was outside your door, he started to think this wasn’t a good idea after all.
You never seemed to really like Peter and he never knew why, he admire your dad for his work and his intelligence, and that was it, but with you it was different, he couldn't help but to grow a small crush on you with the passing time, but each time that he seemed to talk to you, you just never payed attention to him or you straight up ignored him.
He gave the door two knocks waiting for you to open, after no response, he decided that it was better to leave you alone, he could try tomorrow, like any other day.
[°°°]
The next morning, the alarm started with it's usual annoying sound, you reached for it smashing it into pieces, if the alarm didn't wake you up, that certainly did. You looked at the now very broken alarm on the floor, you looked at your hands with horror.
"Am i still dreaming?" You stood up from bed and walked to your closet to get your uniform, as you pulled the door to open it, you ripped the entire door, you looked amazed at it in your hand "Holy shit…" you whispered and started laughing. "Wait a minute… Am I still dreaming?... I must be this is insane but hella cool!" You started laughing trying to get rid of the door, you shake your hand but the door didn't seem to leave your hand, which was weird. "Do I have glue or something? What the…" By this point you started to feel very annoyed by the fact that you couldn't let go of the door in your hand.
A small knock on your door makes you jump, then the door opens revealing Pepper's blushy face, she smiles at you like all mornings, you put the door back in place pretending to be opening the closet door.
"Heeeeeey!" You smile awkwardly.
"Good morning honey… Breakfast is amlost ready, I'm dropping you at school today so get ready" Pepper smiled.
"oh! Yeah sure is just that… I'm having a… a bit of a problem right here" you whisper, Pepper wasn't your mom, but you trusted her as if you were her own daughter, and Pepper trusted you the same, you both had an amazing relationship, and it all started when trying to keep your father alive, but now, it was more than that.
"Oh… What's going on?" Pepper entered your room, closing the door behind her, she walked towards you.
"No! Don't get close! I don't know what's wrong with me" you spoke with a bit of fear.
"What do you mean?" She asked confused, you take the door off of it's palace and you smile awkwardly at her, you then point at the alarm that was smashed a few minutes ago on your floor. "Oh…".
"I - I don't know what's happening, it feels like I have glue in my hands there sticky and I can't get rid of the damn door and I smashed my alarm and I … I don't know what's wrong!" You panicked.
"Okay, Y/N I need you to take a deep breath okay?" Pepper steps closer to you, she grabs the door for you and pulls it away from you little by little "Breathe… that's right, try to relax" As you started to relax, you could feel your hand letting go of the door, pepper throws the door on the floor and smiled at you.
"Thank you" you smiled shyly.
"Let's go with your dad …" Pepper looks at the door on the floor and then at you "there's clearly something wrong".
"You tell me…".
The both of you entered the elevator going to Tony's lab, it was early but it was obvious that he was working on something for Peter, so it wasn't a surprise that he'd been there all night.
As the elevator doors open, you see your dad and Peter already there, the only difference was that Peter had different clothes from yesterday.
"Tony! We have a problem!" Pepper speaks angrily at him.
"Potts… no please… Not in front of him" you whisper, feeling ashamed of Peter there.
"A problem? What's wrong?" Tony looks at the both of you with a smile "Wait… I don't know anything about THAT type of problems, you are girls you fix it!" Tony goes back to working to whatever he was doing.
"Tony…" Pepper cross her arms on top of her chest. "It's Y/N, and this is… Okay, show him" Pepper looks at you, wanting you to do something.
"Well… It's not such a big deal" You look at something you can break, you grab and empty metal box smashing it, Tony and Peter look at you with surprise.
"Holy sh…" Peter covers his mouth, you only look at him annoyed.
"Since when are you able to do that?!" Tony asks surprised.
"Since this morning… I had a fever all night and I felt very weird and, I dunno' dad I don't know what's going on" Tony and Peter shared a small worried look and then looked over at you.
"I know what's going on with you Y/N" Peter speaks, he stands up from his chair walking towards you, when he's in front of you, you feel electricity running through your body, as if something clicked between you and Peter.
"Wow…" the both of you whisper at the same time.
"You're like me!" Peter confirms with a smile.
"Say what now?" You shake your head getting out of the trance that you both were in.
"The spiders!" Tony screams stands up "Kid are you sure you catched all of them?!" Tony asks Peter, the teenager looks at him confused.
"I thought I did, but apparently I didn't… That's why you screamed yesterday right?" Peter looks at you with a smile. "A spider bite you!".
You opened your mouth to say something but you couldn't, you were as confused as someone in math class, you look at Pepper giving her a 'help me look', she understands, she looks at Tony.
"What's going on?" Pepper smiles in anger, trying to calm down "what did you do to your daughter Tony?!" Pepper screams losing her cool.
"I-" Tony looks at Peter for help, just like you, Peter looks at you with a smile.
"You're going to be okay… I swear, just trust me" Peter smiles, giving you a reasuranse look.
[°°°]
Peter wasn't happy with what was happening to you, but deep inside he was, this was his perfect time to grow closer to you, spend time with you and show you how to control your new abilities, he didn't have anyone by his side when everything was happening to him at first, but you have someone, you have him, and he wasn't going to leave you alone.
That day you and Tony decided that skipping school was the best idea, he called to report you sick for like a week, it was better if you spent a few days working on your new abilities before you caught someone's attention at school and then having S.H.I.E.LD knocking on Tony's door.
After school, Peter rushed back to base to work with you on your new cool powers, the both of you were in the gym, you were standing there awkwardly waiting for him, he was looking for something in his backpack, and when he got it, he looked at you with the brightest of smiles, it was hard not to smile back at him.
"I got something for you" Peter gets close "Can I…?" He extends his hands grabbing yours, you look at what he was doing, he was putting some kind of bracelets, his touch was soft, he was trying to be extremely careful, you have new reflects, so he tired not to activate any of them.
"What is this?" You said looking at the bracelets.
"Web shooters!" Peter smiles "I made them in class for you today, I didn't know what was your favorite color so I just made them blue and red like mine, I'm sure that Mr Stark can help you customize them later".
"Thank you…" that was the only thing you could say, Peter looked at your face, you didn't look happy, hyped up, it was all sadness, it seemed like you wanted to cry?
"Y/N…" Peter whispered your name, you look up at him and he sees your watery eyes, he sighs trying to find the correct words "You're not alone in this… You have your dad, and… I'm here for you, I can teach you everything you need to know to be Spider-Man or Spider-Woman?..." He smiled awkwardly "I know this can be overwhelming but believe me, this is the coolest thing ever, you’re gonna love it" Peter smiles.
"I'm not so sure Pete… this is your thing, not mine, i think that you are much better at this 'superhero' thing, you can keep up with everything my dad does, I'm just a normal kid, I go to school, I do homework, I like going to the office with Pepper and just help her around… I'm not built to be this" Your voice was shaky, everything was striking you like a bullet, you felt weird, you had new feelings or better said, you could feel all your feelings at the same time, which was horrible.
You looked at Peter and you started wondering if this is how he felt all the time, you started to feel a bit of compassion for him, you started to feel some kind of new respect for him.
"What?! No! Don't say that, you are as much of a superhero as anyone in this base Y/N! And… To be honest, I kinda want you by my side in the streets?" He whispers the last sentence making you smile shyly.
"Like a spider couple? Or… duet?" You smile, Peter nods with the same smile.
"Just imagine, we can be unstoppable! Or much better! No one knows you exist yet, I can go on patrol one day you the next day, so we can both rest… for a bit" he sighs and you chuckle.
"Poor thing… must be exhausting being Spider-Man 24/7".
"Alright…" Peter smiled standing beside you "Let's start with your first lesson, the web shooters".
You had to admit it, Peter was a lot of fun, his bad jokes, all his references to modern culture, and he was also an amazing teacher, in no time you started picking up this web shooters thing, attracting things to you, small things at first, then things like punching bags that were around in the gym and more heavy things, finding out that you were a lot more stronger than you thought.
Peter couldn't help but look at you with proud eyes, he was so happy you started to like this, in no time, the both of you stuck yourselves to the ceiling, just talking… you could feel all your blood coming down to your head but it wasn't bothering you all thanks to your new abilities.
"This is so cool… you always do this?" You ask with a smile, Peter smiles back nodding.
"All the time, this is how I sneak myself to my room so aunt May doesn't find out" you both chuckle.
"Oh man, I can't wait to sneak up on my old man and scare the shit out of him" you laugh imagining Tony screaming.
"I would love to see that" Peter laughs as well, Tony Stark getting scared a pretty funny image.
"Dinner's ready… What?" Pepper enters the gym but sees nothing.
"Up here!" You smile, Pepper looks up at the ceiling looking surprised at the both of you.
"Uh… Get down kids, it's time for dinner, and please, no web shooters at the table" Pepper smiles getting out of the gym.
Peter gets down quickly, he was used to it, but for you, all of a sudden, the floor started to look very far, you started panicking, and Peter noticed it, call it his sixth sense.
"Hey Y/N…" Peter looks up "let go, just relax, I'm here, I'll catch you, I promise" Peter opened his arms to catch you, you close your eyes remembering his lectures on how to let go objects from your new sticky fingers, as you started to feel relaxed, you felt your body lighter but maybe that what just gravity playing with you.
In seconds, you were in Peter's arms, you opened your eyes to find Him looking at you with soft eyes and a small smile.
"Told you I got ya', you okay?" Peter smiles, not noticing that you were still in his arms, not that he minded that for a bit, he actually started walking to the door with you in his arms.
"Yeah… thank you" you smile, swinging your feet and letting Peter carry you "I can get used to this!" You laugh.
"What do you mean? Being a superhero?" Peter smiles down at you.
"No!" You look up at him "At you carrying me around everywhere" Peter felt his cheeks burn like fire when he noticed that he was still carrying you, carefully he put you on the floor with a shy smile.
"I'm sorry".
"It's alright… Let's go eat, I'm hungry with all that training".
[°°°]
As the days and weeks passed, Peter and you grew closer and closer, you got excited each time he arrived at the base after school and you couldn't wait for your next lesson with him, but deep inside, you just wanted to see him, and it was the same with Peter. You couldn't wait to spend all the evening with him, having a little competition to see who could finish their homework first, he made you watch star wars with him, he even brought Legos for the both of you.
On the other side, Peter was more than happy to spend all this time with you, he actually started spending more time with you than your dad, which was much better, not that Tony wasn't good company, but you were much, much, much! Better.
"Miss Y/N, Mr. Stark will like to see you and Mr.Parker in the laboratory" The robotic voice of Friday was heard in the living room, you and Peter were playing video games and having some quality time together like you always do.
"Ugh!" You roll your eyes "but I was finally destroying you!" You look at Peter and he smiles.
"What?! Of course not! You barely keep up with me!" You look at him, the both of you staying quiet for a few seconds, Peter could feel your eyes burning his soul, he felt naked for a second, your eyes held so much power onto him.
"Bet" you smile, Peter shakes his head getting out of his trance.
"What?".
"You said that I can't keep up with you… I said bet!".
"Oh!" Peter smiles "Girl you have a bet!" He stood up from the couch.
"Yes!" You stand up as well looking at him "Let's see… let's have a race to my dad's lab whoever gets last, needs to do whatever the other person wants" You suggest, Peter smiles already knowing what to do with you.
"Anything…?" Peter smiles looking at you up and down.
"Anything."
"Bet!".
"Okay… 3...2…" you start running to the lab leaving Peter behind.
"What happened with one?! What happened with one?!" Peter screams, running behind you and trying to keep up with you.
When Peter arrived at the lab, you were sitting comfortably in front of Tony as if you were waiting for hours.
"You played dirty! That's not fair!" Peter points at you, making you laugh.
"I never said it was a fair race Mr.Parker" you smile, Peter looks at you fulminating you with his eyes, ready to bet you into another race, he wouldn't go so easy on you next time.
"You called us Mr. Stark?" Peter sits beside you, waiting for Tony to speak.
"Yeah… I did…" Tony sighs "how's training going? Are you… A good Spider-kid?" Your dad asks you.
"I dunno' ask him, he's my mentor" you look at Peter, the teenager looks at you feeling his cheeks burn, this was the first time you called him that.
"Uh… She's amazing, I can say that's she's even better than me" Peter smiles.
"Really?" Tony asks with a bit of surprise but worried at the same time.
"Yes! She will make an amazing Spider-Woman!" Peter looks at you excited.
"Talking about that! Dad! I was talking with Peter the other day and … We were wondering if you could let me go out with him?" You smile awkwardly.
"Excuse me?" Tony raises his eyebrows "Go out… with him? As … a date?"
"Oh! Nononono!" You and Peter speak nervously at the same time.
"We mean that, if you could let her go patrol with me… So she can see how everything is outside" Peter smiles at you, Tony sighs looking down.
"Dad?" Your smile disappeared from your face.
"Yeah?" Tony looks at you "Yeah… uh, I heard you, it's just, I think one Spider-Man is more than enough… do we need two?" Tony looked at you, you knew he was just worried, and he was, Tony was so glad you prefered to be with Pepper in the office instead of wandering around in the lab with him, he wanted you safe.
"No… but I think that Peter needs help, and we can cover much more territory as two than one, and we actually have a plan and…" Tony raises his hand, you shut your mouth looking at him.
"Okay, you can go, I know that anything that I say will not stop you, you're a Stark after all" Tony stands up and walks to the wall "I was afraid this day would come, but… It's Inevitable" Tony taps the wall and a secret wall opens, revealing a new Spider-Man suit, he sighs and looks back at you.
"Holly shit!" Peter stands up and smiles, he looks at you and you could feel yourself getting contaiged by his excitement.
You look at the suit and then at Tony, he was just standing there waiting for you to grab the suit.
"Dad… is that… for me?" The suit was white, with a red spider in the chest and red lines on the arms and legs, like a blank canvas.
"Yes… I didn't knew what colors you would like so we can go to that later, but you should try it on" Tony smiles.
"Oh! Hell yeah!" You stand up, running to the suit.
You saw Peter use his suit all the time so you knew that by pressing the spider in the chest, the suit will get loosen, you took the suit out of the manique grabbing it in your hands, it felt just like Peter's, probably because Tony also made Peter's, but this one felt different, a bit softer, you couldn't believe it, your own suit.
You ran to the bathroom to put on your suit, you took off your clothes just letting your underwear on, you got in the suit and pressed the spider on your chest again, feeling the suit adjust to the curves of your body perfectly.
"Holy mother of spiders…" you looked surprised at yourself in the mirror, you always wanted to ask Peter to try on his suit, but now, you had your own, you felt super cool, like a real superhero.
You took the mask in your hands and you got out of the bathroom, you opened the door making a pose, Peter looked at up and down, memorizing the way your curves looked thanks to the suit, you looked sexy, beautiful, you looked better than he could've imagined.
"Wow…" Peter whispers.
"Don't I look cool?!" You jump with excitement.
"Yes, now, please be careful Y/N, if something goes wrong please call me immediately I-" you grab Tony's hands in yours squishing them.
"I'll be okay dad, Peter will keep me safe" You smile, looking at your new partner.
"You can trust me Mr. Stark, I will never let anything or anyone hurt her" Peter looks at Tony with a serious look, he wasn't lying, Peter preferred to die before letting someone touch a hair on your head.
"Okay… Have fun kids" Tony smiles, giving you a small hug and a pat on the back of Peter.
You and Peter run out of the lab, Peter starts undressing on his way to the door, he already had the suit underneath, the two of you couldn't stop laughing and smiling at eachother.
You both put on your mask at the same time, shooting webs into buildings and starting swinging your way into the city.
The view was incredible, the city lights looked like stars from your point of view, people looked like ants and the cars looked like hot wheels, like toys, you couldn't erase the smile on your face.
After a quick patrol and making sure that everything was okay for a few hours, you and Peter sat on the edge of a building, taking off your masks, looking down at the city.
"So?" Peter looks at you "How you like that?" He smiles.
"It's freaking awesome!" You smile, feeling the cold breeze of the night hit your face.
"I know, who would've thought… A month ago you were freaking out about your powers and now… look at you, you have a spider-man suit and everything!" Peter smiles at you, you could see how proud he was "you've come so far Y/N" he grabs your hand squeezing it "Your master is proud".
"You're so dumb" you take back your hand giving him a small punch on the shoulder, Peter only smiles at you. "But thank you…" you look at him and Peter starts feeling nervous immediately, your eyes, they really had an effect on him "I would never have done this without you, I owe you a lot Peter" You rest your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes and feeling relaxed.
"You don't have to thank me Y/N… For real, I'm so glad I'm not alone in this anymore and… I'm so happy you're the one who's with me" Peter rests his head on top of yours, feeling at peace, looking down at the city and having you beside him, was a much better feeling than he would've thought.
"We make a hell of a team, don't we?" You smile, looking at him, Peter looks at you nodding and smiling.
"We do make a hell of a team!" Peter swings his legs on the edge, an idea hitting his head immediately "A race down the building?" He smiles at you.
"Bet!" Both stand up on the edge of the building ready to jump.
"On the count of three…" Peter looks at you "One, two… three!" You jump out of the building landing on the floor a few seconds later, you jump happily knowing you won again, you look beside you to shove it into Peter's face, but he's not there.
You look up to see Peter coming down hanging upside down from a web.
"You won" Peter whispers, closer to your lips.
"Yeah… I guess I did" you whisper back, looking at his lips, that were dangerously close to your face, a few centimeters away."You never plan on winning this race right?" You smile, Peter chuckles, he grabs the back of your neck closing the distance between the both of you.
Peter's lips were warm, and to be honest, soft as hell, you didn't know it was possible for someone to have lips this soft, he tasted like mountain dew stew, he could taste your cherry lip gloss, it was intoxicating, like a drug for him, he knew he wouldn't be able to keep his lips off of you again, and not that you could complain, you felt the same.
Your hands rested on Peter's cheeks, he cut the kiss just so he could stand properly on the floor to have a better access to your mouth, you felt his arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer, the only barrier away from your skin were your suits.
Peter looks at you and smiles, caressing your skin on your cheeks.
"Wow…" he chuckles.
"Exactly… wow!" You laugh.
"To all units! We have a robbery near Central Park!" You and Peter looked at each other when you heard the police in your ears, you both had access to their channel thanks to Tony.
"I guess we have work my lady" Peter puts on his mask.
"Guess we do" You put on your mask but you lift Peter's a bit, giving him a quick kiss "Race to Central Park?" You smile.
"Bet!" He puts on his mask and shoots a web to the air, already leaving you behind.
"Hey! What happened with one, two, three!!!!!" You scream, shooting a web behind him to keep you with him, after all, this was his territory, he knew this streets like the palm of his hand.
"Loser buys dinner!" Peter screams.
"Are you asking me on a date Peter Parker?" You scream back once you manage to get beside him.
"It's a win win!" Peter laughs, swinging away from you.
"You have a bet!".

I dunno why everyone's freaking out so much about the Gruvia thing in the latest chapter...Like yeah, it was a little strange seeing Gray act so spontaneously, but he panicked lmao. He didn't want Elfman to see Juvia naked and he did the first thing that he could think of (or didn't think at all 😂😂). Personally, I thought it was hilarious. Yes, he maybe could have hidden her another way just as quickly and I have no doubt that a younger Gray definitely would have acted differently, but it just goes to show that our boy is becoming more and more comfortable around Juvia (And even our girl thought it was a bit much hahaha). And let's not forget all the chapters we just had with all their sweet moments. Y'all know we usually have some kind of comic relief after a huge battle. Shit's about to get real, let them have this comedic moment.

#onlyingotham One Shots
WebeJAMMIN @nowman
So, I just got back from a trip to the Bronx. Don't get why people say Gotham is better. Joker is #onlyingotham bitches. Ma cousin in the Bronx was calling me weak. We got mugged and she just freaked out. Apparently #onlyingotham do people fight back. #weak #wtf #beatthecrapouttatheguy #cuzwenttothehospitalforshock #bronxsucks #gothamisdabest #wegotBATMAN
STORYTIME!
Hailey Calderwood was born and raised in Gotham. She lived just off Crime Alley and was a certified badass if she said so herself. She had just come back from a roof party with her mates when her ma told her they were visitin her family in the Bronx.
"Th' say tha' th's place is worse than Gotham? Ar' th' high or somethin'?"
Her Ma rolled her eyes and smacked her on the head.
"Hailey! Your cousins are like you. Always fighting. Dontcha worry. Y'all definitely have a chance to beat the shit outta someone."
She laughed and skipped behind her ma.
~
She takes it back. This is way betta than Gotham! She's been here two days and nodda single things 'appened! Her cousin draped themselves next to her and she rolled her eyes.
"Hey Weak, hows it like bein in a place worse than little old Gotham?"
She rolled her eyes. Seriously? She may not be in a gang, but at least her piercings and tats weren't fake.
"Oh. I dunno I'll have ta tell ya when I go there!"
Her cuz, Amy, snorted. "C'mon. Ya leave tonight and I wanna show ya to the guys before ya go."
"long as they donna work for a rogue I'll hang."
"Still talking about the fake heroes and villains shit those actors put on?"
"STILL BEING A DUMBASS?"
By this time the two had moved several blocks into the darker side of the Bronx. Suddenly as the turned the corner they were jumped. She backed up and pushed Amy behind her.
One guy. Small gun and knife. Easy as pie.
"Amy wanna take him? Or wanna do it togetha!"
She got no reply other than panicked muttering and her cousin dropping to the ground in the fetal position. Fake. She turned back to the guy and smirked.
He stepped forward and pushed the gun into her chest. "Give me your wallet."
She wrapped a hand around his wrist and twisted hard and fast until she heard the sharp crack. He dropped the gun with a cry and stumbled back holding the broken wrist.
She readied herself for his lunge as the man recovered.
"WHAT THE HELL BITCH! I'M GONNA KILL YA!"
She snorted and dodged when he swung at her face with the knife. 'They call that a knife? it'sa small ass knife! I hadda bigga one when I was two!' The man wasn't that great of a fighter and left his side wide open.
She hadda give it ta him though. For a weak idiot he certainly withstood several brass knuckles ta the kidneys. And the liver. And the nose. Finally she palm heel striked him in the stomach slamming her knee into his face as he buckled over. He fell to the ground and groaned.
She turned away after ziptying the dude to find her cousin passed out on the ground and turnin blue.
Let's just say, Aunt Mary realized her kid aint tough and she aint allowed to go back to visit. A bad influence on weak amy. All for the better. The dude got blood on her jacket.

little ghost boy || [JATP Agere/CGLRE]- “Panic Attacks and Secrets” (Chapter 8)
A/N: been planning *this* plot point for a while. Hope y'all enjoy.
Reggie panics and involuntarily regresses after a nightmare, Alex meets up with Willie at a skatepark when band practice is cancelled, and Reggie makes a big decision.
--
Reggie wanted Luke.
Now.
He couldn't breathe. Or at least, it felt that way. He didn't remember what was so scary about his dream at first, all he knew is that it upset him.
Tears ran down his face as he sobbed, sniffling. He sat up, taking in his surroundings. He was in Julie's bed. He didn't recall why, but he was glad he had the stuffed bear Julie gave him for comfort.
He knew that he was very little but he didn't care. This was to much for him. And he needed Luke.
"Reggie, it's time to get up for band practice-"
Reggie heard Julie's voice as she opened the door, speaking casually until she got a glance of him. "Oh my god, Reg! What happened?" She shut her door behind her, and quickly came to sit next to him on the bed.
She had let him nap in her room because he had stayed up late the night before doing something, planning to come wake him up before band practice.
Reggie shook his head, closing in on himself and squeezing the bear. "Mama!" Reggie cried, babbling over his words. He panicked, his breathing becoming more quickened and panicky.
"Baby, I need you to breathe for me. Like me, okay?" Julie continued to breathe in deeply, and then out. Reggie nodded, attempting to follow her lead. She didn't care that he was little at a bad time, she just wanted him to be okay.  Julie didn't ask for an explanation, nor did she question what was going on. In the moment, she just did everything she could to help him calm down.
She continued on, muttering praise and reassurance until his breathing was more level. "Bad dream, mama! Scary and I wan Luke..." he whined, still sniffling.
"It's okay, baby," Julie opened her arms, letting him hug her. He snuggled into her chest, hugging her tightly. "And I'll see if I can get Luke for you, yeah?"
"Band pwactice?" Reggie pulled away, tilting his head. "Gotta be big."
"No, you don't. You just had some sort of panic attack and that's what this is for, remember? To deal with your mental health and emotions."
Reggie nodded, and Julie continued. "We don't have a gig for a week, we'll come up with another time to practice. And...I'll come up with something to tell Alex. You just play with your stuffie, okay?"
Reggie picked the bear back up from the bed, hugging it and nodding. Julie's breathing exercise and affection helped comfort him a bit, but he still didn't feel well. He wanted Luke.
Luke's comfort seemed so important in the moment due to the contents of his dream. The nightmare made him afraid of losing Luke, and he needed to know that he wouldn't.
Julie leaned forward and kissed his forehead. Reggie hugged the stuffed animal, trying to focus on keeping his breathing level for the time being, watching his Mama leave the room.
--
"Julie!" Luke cheered once Julie entered the studio, dropping his smile when he saw how serious she looked. "Where's Reggie?"
"I need to talk to you," Julie said, in a serious tone that scared him a bit. . Luke lifted his guitar over his head, going over and setting it on his stand.
"I'll be back." He told Alex, following Julie out of the studio and leaving the blonde very confused. Once they were outside, and the garage doors were shut behind him, he spoke aloud, questioning what was going on.
"What's up, Jules?"
"Reggie had a panic attack," Julie sighed, seemingly worried. "He said something about a bad dream and he's very little and he's asking for you. Can we cancel band practice? Can you please go spend some time with him?" Julie pleaded. She was really worried.
"Of course...I'll tell Alex that Reggie had a nightmare but leave out the details. He used to get them pretty bad, about his parents and stuff, and he'd be sensitive after. I'm sure he won't think anything of it," Luke decided, nodding. "I'll talk to Reggie, and then we can all do something as a distraction for him, okay?"
"Sounds like a plan." Julie confirmed, still on-edge.
"Hey," Luke spoke softly to her, picking up on her stress. "He's gonna be okay. We'll figure this out."
Julie hummed, nodding. "Yeah...thanks for that." She thanked him for the comfort, and Luke smiled.
"Of course."
--
"Nightmares? I feel so bad...I thought those went away," Alex frowned, worried for his friend. "Can I see him? I used to help him when he had them when we were alive."
"No!" Julie said, immediately. She awkwardly chuckled, "We got this. You go hang out with Willie or something, and we can all hang out later tonight." she compromised. Julie understood that Alex was worried and tried to come up with a solution that would allow him to see Reggie, without exposing him for being an age regressor.
"O-okay, yeah. You sure you got this?" Alex looked to Luke, who nodded. "When I come back, can we talk all about something?" Alex asked.
"Uh, yeah. Whatever you want, just not right now." Luke wasn't really worried about whatever he was planning to bring up, just trying to get him out so that he could go help his baby.
Alex nodded, setting his drumsticks down and stepping away from the drum set. Luke gave him a soft smile, before poofing out as Julie exited through the door. Alex didn't know what was up, but he was worried.
It seemed like Luke was always trying to keep him out of the house, and while he loved spending time with his boyfriend, he was missing his friends too. But he was kinda thankful about it, because they never questioned why he was gone all the time, they just seemed to be glad that he wasn't in the house to discover whatever they were keeping from him.
They were hiding something from him, but he was hiding something too. It wasn't his secret to tell anyways. It was Willie's.
He figured that he should go check on the boy in question anyways. With everything going on, Willie was always pretty stressed. Hiding a relationship from the person who owns your soul will do that to you. He poofed out, appearing on a bench at a empty skate park.
How long would it be before it hit them that their secrets were exactly the same? At least, Willie and Reggie's were.
--
"Luke!" Reggie made grabby hands towards his friend the moment he appeared in the room. Luke came forward, leaning down to hug him without making him get up from the bed. Reggie cuddled into his chest. "Scary dream, Luke! You didn't wanna be friends anymore- and Julie left too. And Alex-" he started rambling, working himself back to tears again.
"Baby, none of us would ever leave you, okay? I know nightmares can be scary but they're not real. "  Luke assured, kissing the top of Reggie's head softly. "None of us are going anywhere, I promise you."
He let go of Reggie, letting him settle back into the bed. "I heard you kinda panicked. Are you feeling okay?" Luke sat on the bed next to him, hearing the door open as Julie entered. She didn't interrupt, closing the door behind her and taking her spot on the other side of Reggie as he replied.
"Still sad." he mumbled, shaking his head. "Don't wanna lose you," he said.
"I know, baby. You won't," Luke repeated. Julie seemed concerned. "Do you wanna tell Mama what the dream was about?"
Reggie turned to Julie, bringing his thumb to his lip. "Lost Luke, and yous, and Alex. Didn't wanna be friends anymore," he pouted.
"Poor baby," Julie opened his arms, letting him hug her. "Luke's right, we're not going anywhere. I can promise you that, Little Prince."
Reggie hummed, cuddling into her too. "Hey, Rockstar?" Luke asked after a minute of just them hugging. Reggie pulled away from Julie, tilting his head as he looked over at him. "Will a movie make you feel a bit better?" Luke asked.
Reggie shrugged. "We could watch Winnie the Pooh!" Julie suggested, in a excited tone that made Reggie really wanna watch it. He pouted though, shaking his head. "Why not, Flower?"
"Makes me littler," he mumbled shyly, his face a little pink.
Luke gave an amused smile. "And exactly how big are you right now?" he questioned in a teasing tone.
"Dunno," Reggie pouted. "Not a baby," he decided.
"Hmm, well...does Winnie the Pooh make you happy?" Julie interrupted, joining back in on the conversation. Reggie nodded slowly. "Then what does it matter if it triggers a younger headspace? You're allowed to be little, even if 'little' is very young."
Reggie seemed hesitant to agree, but Julie leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead, distracting him from whatever he was going to say. "I'll set up the show. Julie, is there any way to get more blankets so that the baby is more comfy? We can build a little pillow fort!"
Reggie bounced it place. "Yeah, Mama, can we?"
Julie rolled her eyes, playfully glaring at Luke, chuckling a bit. "Yeah, I'll see what I can do. Reggie, you can be my little helper!"
"That's a very important job, mister." Luke said playfully. Reggie nodded, seeming determined to help Julie with whatever she needed. Julie stood up, reaching out her hand for Reggie to take.
What Reggie needed right now was a distraction. And Julie and Luke were providing just that. They always seemed to know what he needed and how to help him.
And Reggie would always be thankful for that.
--
Alex poofed onto a bench in an empty skate park, looking around for Willie.
"Alex!" Willie cheered, stopping his skateboard in front of the bench. He sat down next to him. Alex still had no idea how they were always able to correctly guess where the other was most of the time. It was weird.
"Hey, Willie," Alex chuckled at his excitement. "How are you?"
"Not little, if that's what you're getting at," Willie told him. "Actually though, I'm pretty okay at the moment! I've been skating and just hanging out. You?"
"Well, I was supposed to practice with the band today but then they cancelled it because of Reggie. He was pretty shaken up after a nightmare, they wouldn't let me see him for some reason." Alex explained.
"It sounds like they're hiding something related to Reggie from you. Do you have any ideas on what it could be?" Willie frowned, sitting back in the bench and getting settled.
"Actually, I think I might."
"Go on," Willie seemed interested.
"At first I thought it was just a weird Reggie thing- but on Halloween night, I caught Reggie sleeping and sucking his thumb. I-i think he might be like you," Alex seemed hesitant, like he wasn't completely sure.
"I mean, I think that's possible. You said that he deals with anxiety too, right? And that he didn't have the best childhood?"
Alex nodded in affirmation. "Those are both two things people can use age regression to deal with."
Alex nodded again, "There's so many other things too. I was thinking it in the back of my mind since you told me about you a month ago, but I didn't know for sure. He will disappear with either Julie or Luke, or both, for extended periods of time. Whenever I come home, one of them will distract me until the other two come back, and Reggie always is kinda shy."
"Like I am when I come out of littlespace," Willie connected.
"Yeah, I don't know, but I do think it's possible. Either way, I'm gonna ask them about it tonight, see if I can figure out what they're keeping from me." Alex ran his fingers through his hair. "But while I'm here, do you wanna do something?"
"I-i know I said I wasn't little-"
"You can be if you want." Alex cut him off, smiling at him. Willie smiled back, nodding.
"Okay. Cool. Can we go to the park?" Willie was thankful. He could only ever feel comfortable being little away from the club, and it was much easier to be a kid when you had someone to play with.
"Of course."
--
"Luke! Look at all the blankies we got!" Reggie giggled, coming over to Julie's bed and dumping a pile of soft blankets on the bed. He looked so proud of himself for helping, even though it was obvious that Julie carried more and did all the work.
"Whoa! Those are a lot! You must be so strong, baby."
Reggie blushed a little bit. He was still getting used to the praise thing. Instead of pointing out things he did wrong, or getting mad at him, they made a point to tell him what he did well. While softly correcting and helping him improve in spots he could do better. Instead of 'You're not good enough', it was 'You're amazing, and we're gonna help you be even better'.
"Now you get to help me set this up! I don't know how we're gonna do a fort though..." she trailed off, looking around her room. "We could pull the chair over here, and use the stool to create a roof? Just drape the blanket across it and set up on the floor?"
They eventually figured out the blanket fort thing, setting it up on the ground. They all cuddled up inside of it, Reggie sitting between his friends with the computer on his lap. Reggie was definitely right about the show making him littler.
He was sucking on his thumb and cuddling both his bear and Luke. Julie had been the one mainly taking care of Reggie the past few times he regressed, and he seemed to want Luke now. That dream spooked him, and out of the two people he trusted, he wanted the one he knew longer. Julie didn't take offence to that, just glad that he was feeling better.
Reggie kept giggling at the movie, but he eventually fell back asleep against Luke. Luke reached forward, pressing the spacebar on the laptop to pause the show once he was sure the baby was sleeping. "We should let him get some more sleep. He can stay in the pillow fort, though." Luke suggested.
Julie nodded, "The crying probably tired him back out. We can let him sleep for a while and hopefully he'll be big when he wakes up."
Luke nodded a bit in response, closing the laptop and setting it aside, working to carefully lay Reggie down without waking him up. He stirred a bit at the last minute, whining. "No go.." Reggie mumbled sleepily. He fell back asleep basically immediately, but Luke's heart melted.
"Julie, he's so adorable-"
"I know, but if you spend a million years cooing over him, we're never gonna come up with something to tell Alex."
Luke rolled his eyes, proceeding to climb out of their little fort, followed by Julie.
Little did they know, there was no need to lie to Alex. They'll figure it out eventually.
--
"I have to go home, kiddo. I'm sorry," Alex looked at the pouty kid in front of him, frowning a bit.
"But Awex!" Willie whined. "Wanna keep playin'."
Alex smiled a bit at his mispronunciation of his name, "I know, Little One. But we can always play later, right?"
Willie nodded, casting his eyes down. "Mkay. I miss you."
"I'll miss you too, Willie." Alex opened his arms, letting the little hug him. Little Willie had an older headspace age then Little Reggie, for sure, but they were alike in many ways. When they eventually met, and interacted in littlespace, it was undoubtedly going to be an absolutely adorable sight to see.
But of course, there were many things that needed to happen before they got there. Many secrets to be told. Many conversations to be had.
"Can you be a big kid for me, buddy? I know big Willie can take care of himself, I don't know about you, though."
Willie pouted, but he nodded nonetheless. "Be big after you leave, pwomise." he held out his pinky childishly.
Alex gave an amused smile, wrapping his pinky around his. "I know it's hard to pull yourself out of headspace. It's okay."
After a moment of silence, Alex leaned forward, kissing Willie's forehead before smiling at him. "I'll see you later."
Willie hummed, stepping back as he poofed out. Willie frowned, sad that he was gone. He stepped back onto the playground, going over to the swings and taking a seat.
He had to be big before heading back to the club. Sometimes, Caleb wasn't the nicest person about the more childish part of him. Only sometimes, when things at the club weren't doing well and there was a lot going on. And Willie knew he had been pretty stressed after failing to possess a teenage boy for more then a few day. And getting yelled at for not being able to understand orders wasn't something on his 'to-do' list for today.
He was glad he got to spend some time with Alex, though.
--
"There, all the pillow fort stuff is put away. I think Alex will be heading back soon, though." Luke said, looking over to a nervous Reggie as he set one of Julie's pillows back in place on her bed.
"Are you sure you wanna tell him? We can come up with a lie." Julie offered, coming to sit next to him. Reggie shook his head a bit.
"I'm okay. I-i'm sure about this. Nervous out of my mind, but sure."
"Okay, Reg. Just let us know if you change your mind." Luke told him, sitting down as well.
"I will." Reggie assured, biting on his lip and bouncing his knee. He was very nervous. This was the first time he'd be willingly telling someone, and it was terrifying. He could still back out, but he didn't think he wanted to. He trusted Alex, and he knew somewhere, deep down, that he'd probably be okay with it.
The most he'd do is tease him playfully like Luke did. But it was still scary.
Alex walked through the door, talking about how he had gone to the studio to find them first. Reggie waited until he was done with his rambling, speaking up nervously.
"Alex, I have something to tell you..."
Was he really doing this?

Survey #475
(from two days ago, oops)
What is your favorite background noise? (Ex. Water dripping, people talking.) I really like a steady rain tapping on the windows. Do you like taking selfies? Why or why not? No, because I'm ugly. It's annoying because I've been wanting to take pics with Girt considering even as just friends literally none exist of us, but yeah. I fucking hate taking pictures of myself and it takes a billion and two tries to get a picture I deem "acceptable" anyway. Were you named after anyone? No. What was the last comic book you read? I don't and never have read comic books. What is your heritage? German, Irish, and Polish. Describe the worst friend you have ever befriended. All things considered, somehow my former best friend was the worst. She was homophobic, racist, extremely self-centered, drama-driven, excessively bossy, ungrateful... I will never be able to explain how our friendship ever worked. If you found the recipe for immortality, would you sell it or would you burn it? Burn it. With certainty. We just aren't meant to live forever. What is the most embarrassing, cringe-worthy thing you have ever done? 99% of my life has been Cringe. What is the worst thing someone could do on a date? Be distracted/not pay attention to the other, like by constantly using their phone. It's so rude. That would immediately make me lose interest in you. If you could turn one legal thing illegal, what would it be? I dunno. What is something you swore you would never do when you grew up, but you did anyway? I was absolutely going to college as a kid. Fast-forward to the future, I've dropped out three times and am going nowhere. Little me saw me as so, so much more successful. Do you actually iron your clothes? No. Unless it's a formal occasion. Do you rent or own your current home? We rent. Have you ever used cursive after school, aside from your signature? My handwriting is naturally mostly cursive. Do you have your groceries delivered or do you buy them yourself? We order our groceries for pick-up, so we have to go to the store, but not in. Do you have a gym membership? Sigh. I do, but Mom and I have really been neglecting going since my time with my personal trainer ran out... What’s your favorite computer game genre? Horror, of course. Do you have any exes your parents never liked? No. Have you ever been severely mentally ill? I am. What was the last thing you purchased from a small local business? I don't know. Have you ever used chewing tobacco? EW no, that shit grosses me out so much. If someone’s laughing, do you instantly think they’re laughing at you? Suuuure do. How would you react if your parents told you they were having another baby? Well, they're divorced, Mom cannot stand my dad, and she also had a complete hysterectomy when she had ovarian cancer, so like... Have you ever had a garage or yard sale before? How much did you make? Over the course of my life, we've had a few yard sales. I don't remember how much we made at any. Have you ever had to evacuate your home for any reason? No. Which mythological creature is your favorite? DRAGONS. I love dragons. Have you ever been to a butterfly garden before? No, but that sounds amazing. What's the biggest bird you've ever seen up close? Oh my god y'all, when I volunteered once at a wildlife rehab center, I was FEET away from some sort of falcon. Guys, you would not believe JUST how big birds of prey are. I was shocked and in total awe. Have you ever seen a double rainbow before? More than once. Were you ever afraid of the dark as a child? I don't THINK I was? What is the strangest thing you’ve been asked? Something inappropriate that really pissed me off. What was your favorite game as a child? I was obsessed with the original Spryo trilogy and would play all three obsessively. What is the darkest thing you have seen on the internet? I don't know, dark shit. Do you crack your knuckles, neck or toes constantly? No, but ugh Girt does that with his neck and it drives me insane alsdkjfaljdlfkwe. Are you constantly catching colds or other sicknesses? No, my immune system is a legend. Are you afraid of mice? No, they're precious. What type of souvenir do you usually purchase when on vacation? I go on vacations so irregularly that I can't really answer this. I've been on a vacation maybe twice in my entire life. Do you own more than one copy or edition of a book? No. If you could see any musical on Broadway right now, what would it be? I don't like musicals. Will you willingly sing in front of other people besides your family? God no. Do you eat soup when you’re sick? No. I don't like soup. Who can never fail to make you laugh? Absolutely my boyfriend. He's the funniest person I know. Have you ever been on a tour bus? No. Do you prefer listening to things through headphones or speakers? Earplugs. Are you listening to music right now? No; I'm watching Gab play The Evil Within. Have you ever unbuttoned your ex’s pants? Just one of them, but we were together at the time. What are you planning on eating for dinner tonight if you haven’t already? Mom made pizza. What was the worst news you’ve heard this entire week? Girt's mother has Covid. He's vaccinated, but nevertheless, he's still getting a test done just to be safe, and also because if he's contracted it, I might have it. And that means my mother could get it, which just cannot happen, even if she's vaccinated, too. The poor guy is really freaking out about it, but ASTONISHINGLY, I'm not panicking yet. Girt's health has seemed fine, I'm fine, so... We'll just have to wait to see what his test says. Do you have a lot of trees around your house? What about buildings? No; yes. I hate living in the suburbs, it sucks here. Would you say either one of your parents are 'pack-rats?' No. Have you ever disowned anyone in your family? For what reasons? No. Has anyone ever called you a sociopath before? No. Do you have freckles? Do you like/dislike them? Not on my face, no. I have a few randomly on my body though. Would you ever consider getting dreadlocks? No. Have you downloaded extra fonts for your computer? Oh, plenty. Who is the latest great YouTuber you’ve discovered? The latest, uhhhh. I'd probably say John Wolfe as a truly "great" one considering I watch him regularly now. Do you read the Bible regularly? Yeah, no. All the Bible does is piss me off, frankly. Name three patriotic songs you like. I don't know about three, but I do shockingly like this one country song with a name I can't remember. All I know is it has "red, white, and blue" in the title. ... I think. Oh! There's "Deutschland" by Rammstein, even though it's not about my own country. Has it ever snowed on your birthday? Maybe at some point as a kid? Idr. Do you like the way your name is spelled? No, actually. I wish it was "Brittney." It's more true to the pronunciation. Do you believe in astrology? Not in the slightest, and while I really shouldn't care, like believe what you want, it's a genuine pet peeve of mine when others base their fucking lives around what positions some goddamn stars are in in an infinite universe. They make decisions based on bullshit being spat at them that might not be suitable. I know, it's stupid to care, but I can never seem to NOT roll my eyes when I see/hear people blaming their flaws and shit on this stuff. Are you one of those people who has like a hundred apps on their phone? No; I have very few. What’s the band that you love even though you know they’re awful? I can't help but love some Blood on the Dance Floor songs. :x Do you coo over other people’s babies? No, not really. Like I can acknowledge a cute picture and be like "awww," but it's nothing I lose my mind over at all. What is something that makes you very squeamish? VOMIT. If you’re out of high school, have you stayed in touch with your high school friends? If you’re still in school, do you think you will? The only high school friend of mine I'm still actively friends with/is still in my life is Girt, obviously. Like I have HS friends on Facebook that I still very much love and will react to what they post and sometimes comment, but we don't really talk-talk. Do you dye your hair regularly? No. :/ That's not something I can afford to do. Do you have an alter ego? Describe them: No. Do you know both of your biological parents? Which one do you prefer? I do, and I love them both. Do you store a lot of pictures you’ve taken that no one else has seen? I'm a wanna-be photographer, of course I do. If you had to name your kid after an American state, which would you choose? Probably "Dakota" for either gender. What do you use to dry your clothes? (Tumble dryer, radiator, etc) We have your normal dryer. Do you ever play the built-in games on your computer? Which ones? Nah. Do/did you doodle on your books at school? My notebooks and binders, ohhhh yes. Actual school textbooks, absolutely not. Who’d you last see in a tux? The groom and groomsmen of the last wedding I shot. Who’s the bravest person you know? Sara. Have you ever dated someone who was real sportsy? No.

Befriending your ʰᵒᵗ AP stats teacher was the last thing on your high school senior agenda…

You feel like you're seven again, being reprimanded by your unforgiving parents in the dreaded living room. Tension so thick, it could cut through goddamn Mt. Everest, itself. You'd be lying to yourself if you weren't scared. You're fucking terrified.
Pure trepidation haunts you, sits heavily on both shoulders, making your body go numb and thoughts freeze.
Especially when Jin's forced you and Jimin to sit on your knees on the wooden floor as he remains on the couch looking down at you. It's intimidating as fuck, and you fight off the urge to huddle against your boyfriend's protective chest.
"How long have you been doing... this?" Jin finally asks, his voice cold and serious, unlike anything you've heard before. He glares at you especially, making you flinch back.
Goosebumps dot your body as you nervously look at Jimin, who surprisingly looks calm. It was as if he got his shit together on the drive to your house. Honestly, it almost gives you comfort to see your boyfriend so collected. You figure you shouldn't be so frightened if he's not, but it's easier said than done.
"Doing... what?" Jimin replies, quirking his eyebrows.
"You know what I mean," Jin sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I dunno, making out or dating? Because I can assure you, we've made out longer than we've dated." Jimin shrugs nonchalantly.
Your mouth drops open in shock. You have no idea if your boyfriend's being a goddamn idiot or if he wants to die by the hands of your cousin.
"WHAT?!" Jin roars, standing up from the couch. His aggressive movement makes you fall on your ass, scootching towards Jimin for protection. If you weren't screwed before, you were now.
"Wait! Wait! Don't listen to Jimin!" you yelp, panicked. "We've been dating for a little over three months, alright?"
"What? I thought it was four!" Jimin protests, a mischievous grin stuck on his face. It's obvious he's joking. But there's a time and place for that.
Okay, Jimin, I love you and all, but this is not the time!
"OKAY NO, JUST SHUT UP!" Jin shrieks, throwing his hands up his head. "You!" He points aggressively at Jimin, who raises his hands up in defense. "God, tell me you haven't taken her flower yet!"
"My what?" you cry, standing up. You weren't scared now, just a tad bit angry.
"What the fuck? No, Jin! She's 17!" Jimin yells, suddenly enraged as he stands up and grabs your hand. "You know I'm not that kind of person!"
Your face scrunches up as you take a step towards your cousin. "I can't believe you actually thought we had sex! I'm 17!"
"Well, it looked like it when I walked in the freaking classroom, you know that?" Jin shrieks. "What if it wasn't me? What if it was the principal, huh? Or another student? Another teacher?"
"We're sorry!" Jimin apologizes, though his voice raises. "That was just one mistake, alright? Just one, out of the hundreds of other times!"
"WHAT?!"
You place a hand on Jimin's chest, calming him down. "I think you should just uh... stop talking..."
No doubt he was making it worse.
"No, Y/N. Obviously, Jin doesn't understand how much you mean to me," Jimin announces, squeezing your intertwined hands and turning to your cousin. "Look, I've been taking great care of Y/N, okay? I've given her the love she deserves and all the right treatment, you know that? I love her, Jin, I actually do. Just... work with me here. I don't know what I'll do if you don't approve of this because I'm your best friend and she's your cousin or because I'm her goddamn teacher! I know it's against the rules, but fuck the teacher handbook! I don't even care if it's illegal..." Jimin trails off, looking at you with absolute love in his eyes. "Ever since we became friends, my days have been getting better. Ever since we became lovers, my life got brighter. You know how much of a positive effect we have on each other, Y/N."
You literally don't have words, but you try to speak, you really do. "J-Jimin..." It's all you can do at the moment. You're about to tell him you love him, that you know all of these things, that you don't care if it's illegal or not when—
"Okay, I didn't ask for a whole soliloquy but go off, I guess." Jin stifles a laugh by clearing his throat. "You guys do know I knew you liked each other before both of you found out?"
"What now?"
"Yeah," Jin chuckles. "Well, I always assumed Y/N was dating someone behind my back. I mean, it's so not Y/N to have fun and relax, you know, someone must be helping her live. I thought it was that Jungkook boy for the longest time when I realized how Jimin was becoming less of a workaholic too. I put the pieces together and realized you guys had feelings for each other."
You're more than bewildered, eyes turning wide and mouth open in shock. "C-Come again?"
"No, for real!" your cousin snorts, shaking his head in disbelief. "I really did suspect something! And though I probably didn't like it at first, I guess I kinda noticed how your relationship was helping both of you become the best version of yourselves. I totally approve of you two dating. Yet I don't approve of you making out in public."
You and Jimin stare at each other with jaws dropped, completely shocked. And there both of you had thought Jin never suspected a thing.
"But for real, you think I really didn't notice all those late-night dates? I can play dumb too, you know," Jin huffs, crossing his arms over his chest. "Y'all should thank me for lowkey setting you both up. I mean, if it weren't for me, both of you would've thought of each other just as a teacher or student. The horror!"
"I don't know what to say," you whisper, emotions taking the better of you. "I literally can't express how thankful I am, Jin. I really am... I don't even want to imagine what could've happened to my senior year if you didn't introduce Jimin to me, outside of school, that is. God, I would've been some friendless, antisocial robot with a side of mild depression!"
"Damn. I'm just confused," Jimin mutters, tugging you into his arms to kiss the top of your head. "Workaholic plus workaholic should equal double the work... yet somehow we learned to have some fun."
"That's what you're confused about?" you giggle, squeezing Jimin's hand. "Sometimes I question your maturity level."
"Yeah, well today, I questioned both of your intelligence levels," Jin scoffs, shaking his head. "I pretty much suspected both of you were dating for a while now -- possibly even before you were actually dating. But for real, guys? I didn't think either of you would be dense enough to make out at school!" Jin rolls his eyes. "Dense as ice, I tell ya."
You frown. "You mean dense as water."
"What?"
"Water is denser than ice," you explain slowly as if you were talking to a child.
"Okay whatever, nerd," Jin says. "The point is, I got mad because of how careless both of you were. I mean, if you want to break some rules, at least be somewhat secretive!"
"Yeah well, lesson learned. I don't want to see you mad again," you squeak, tightening your grasp on Jimin. "It was scary and I value my life."
Jimin chuckles, kissing your forehead as he hugs you from behind. "Really? I thought Jin being angry was funny."
"Oh shut up, you," Jin snorts, "before I place a strict curfew on this household."
That shuts your boyfriend right up.
"But anyways, if you wanted my blessing, I give it to you both, 3000%," Jin announces proudly. "Jimin?"
"Yeah?"
"You've got a catch. Love her to death for me, will ya?"
"Sure thing," Jimin answers, snuggling his face in your neck.
"Y/N?"
"Mhm?"
"You're gonna kill me for saying this, but it has to be announced sooner or later..." Jin starts, a mischievous smile blossoming on his face.
"What is it?" You cock your head.
"Well, I guess one could say... you're quite illegirl."
You don't know who lunged angrily at Jin first, you or Jimin.
Tumblr media
"I dunno if that's a good idea, Jimin," you sigh, scratching the back of your head. "There are just so many more reasons why we shouldn't do this, you know?"
Your boyfriend laughs, rubbing your shoulder with a warm, comforting hand. "Stop being such a scaredy-cat, Y/N. It's just one small date at Wattbucks, what can go wrong?"
"Oh, ohhh, a lot of things," you scoff, shaking your head in disbelief. "If we go there, the whole city will know we're dating in less than half an hour!"
"Noooo," Jimin argues, giving you an innocent puppy-dog look that dangerously quickens your heartbeat. "We'll be careful!"
"Yeah, that's what we said before Jin found out." You shudder at the memory, not particularly fond of that moment in your life. It was a particularly scarring scene, still haunting you in your nightmares.
"Okay, but we'll be extra careful!"
You roll your eyes. "Yeah, no, Jimin. God, I thought you were the adult here!"
Your boyfriend huffs in mock anger, "I am! I'm just... I'd rather take a risk to have a good time with you!"
"Yeah, but the risk could literally make you lose your job, and me, expelled," you point out, crossing your arms. "I dunno if you haven't noticed, but we're kinda not allowed to be dating. We really shouldn't be—"
The next thing you know, you're at Wattbucks, waiting for your drinks. Honestly, you should've known you'd give in to your incredibly stubborn er, persistent partner. Especially when he had started pouting, you knew it was game over.
You tug your baseball cap down in an attempt to hide your face (jUst iN cAsE), running over for the thousandth time in your head why you agreed to come to such a public place with your illegal boyfriend.
"We're grabbing the lattes and leaving," you mutter, "before we meet somebody we know."
"Aw, Y/N! Stop being so paranoid, we're not gonna meet anyone we know! I've done the math, it's less than a 12% chance," Jimin whines. "I literally sat down with a pen and paper and calculated!"
"Well, I've done the math too—in my head," you protest. "It's 12.7% for your information, and what about the remaining 87.3%, huh?"
Jimin sighs, shaking his head. "Relax, okay?" He reaches across the table, placing a warm hand over yours to comfort you. His charming, toffee eyes peer into yours, soothing your jumpy nerves. And when he smiles at you, eyes scrunching up and plump lips pulling apart (a genuine smile), you can't help but forget you're in public.
"OH MY GOD HOW ADORABLE!"
You and Jimin both jerk your heads towards the inhumanly high-pitched shrieker, only to find that annoying waitress that had served you months back. You'll never be able to forget her shrill voice and her favorite word: adorable.
"Here are your drinks!" the loud waitress exclaims, setting down your matching heart-design lattes. "How's my favorite couple? Would you like a free couple's mini cake?"
"Um, it's f—"
"Yes, please," Jimin answers before you do, hooking his arm around your shoulder. "We'd also love another photo!"
You shoot him an unappreciative glare that says 'you're not helping us stay lowkey,' but Jimin shrugs it off, grinning at you.
"I'll be right back with the cake~" the waitress sings, starting to leave. She calls behind her shoulder: "I'll ask my brother to take the photo. That rascal really thinks he can get away making 10 bucks an hour doing nothing. Taehyung!!!"
You gasp, so shocked that you almost fall off your seat if Jimin hadn't caught your arm. "N-No..." you breathe. "She said Taehyung, right? My ears aren't deceiving me?"
"Fuck, do you know him?" Jimin asks, tightening his grip on your arm as if you would sink to the floor without his support.
"Jesus, he's literally in my friend group!" you exclaim, standing up as Jimin's hand falls from your arm. "Forget the drinks, we've got to yeet—"
"Y/N???!" a familiar, surprised voice hollers. "Mr. Park??!"
"Fuck," you mutter under your breath before turning around to see Kim Taehyung, alright. "H-Hey, Tae!"
"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asks, cocking his brow. "And with Mr. Park?"
You and Jimin immediately scoot away from each other, making the distance between the two of you reasonably innocent.
"Oh, just discussing, um, math club details," you quickly fib, despite the fact that with the school year approaching its end, clubs weren't meeting anymore. You grit your teeth, praying that Taehyung wouldn't call you out for your immature lie. "Right, Jimin?"
Your boyfriend sighs. "Y/N, how many times do I have to tell you? It's Mr. Park."
Fuck. Bad habits. He just saved your ass.
"Anyways, hello, Taehyung," Jimin sleekly says, smiling at his student. His professional demeanor is back, amazingly so. Talk about a smooth transition. "You're working here, I see?"
"Uh... yeah," your friend says, staring quite suspiciously at the two of you. "Nice lattes."
Shit. The heart-shaped lattes had once seemed so cute, but now they were going to be the end of you both.
"Well, Jungkook's coming too," you blurt out before thinking it over. "J-Just wanted to um... surprise him..."
You thought the stuttering would make the lie less believable, but it seemed as if it made it more valid.
"O. M. G. You two are a thing? Oh, I fucking knew it!" Taehyung shouts, pumping his fist in excitement before realizing his teacher had been witnessing. "Uh, I mean, I freaking knew it... Sorry, Mr. Park."
"No! No, we're not a thing... uh, yet," you say, trying to sound as convincing as possible. But what can you say? You're literally the worst liar ever. Hopefully, Taehyung's incredibly gullible.
"That damn kid," Taehyung scoffs, shaking his head. "He's too much of a goddamn pussy to ask you out." One disapproving look from Jimin makes your friend flush, looking down at his feet. "Er, yeah... I'll be leaving now! Bye, Y/N, bye, Mr. Park!"
"Wait a minute, not so fast, you rascal!" The waitress flies back, an adorable mini cake in her hands, which she quickly sets down on the table. But she's too late; her brother had already fled the scene. "Damn him," she huffs, placing a sassy hand on her hip. "Would you still like a photo?"
"Uhh, no we're fine," you quickly answer, "but it'd be amazing if we could get the cake to-go."
"Yes, we completely forgot we made reservations for lunch," Jimin pipes up, smiling coyly at the waitress to convince her further. "May we get the lattes to-go as well?"
"Sure, no problem!" the waitress chuckles, shaking her head as she balances the lattes and cake on her tray. "Taehyung'll bring these out in a moment!"
As soon as she leaves, Jimin stands up, grabbing his jacket. "God, if Taehyung's coming, I better leave. Make up some fib about Jungkook and meet me in the parking lot!" He gives you a fleeting kiss on the cheek and rushes out of the quiet cafe before you can say another word.
You roll your eyes, an 'I told you so' threatening to bubble out of your throat. But still, the warmth of his lips, when they had pressed on your cheek, leaves you yearning for more.
"Fuck, did that idiot stand you up?" Taehyung asks, slightly out of breath as he hands you a to-go bag. "Damn, he fucked up."
You laugh, shaking your head. "Kook wouldn't do that to me! We're just meeting somewhere closer to his house 'cause his car broke down."
Taehyung scoffs. "You guys are taking it so slowly, god, I'll get married by the time you two start dating!" he whines. "Didn't he already confess?"
You frown, shifting the bag from one hand to the other. "What do you mean?"
"What the fuck, he told me he confessed!" your friend sighs, rubbing his forehead stressfully. "That goddamn liar."
"I'm pretty he said that to get you and Yoongi's asses off of him," you chuckle. "Last time I checked, there were no confessions!"
"What?? That little bastard! He told me you confessed your unrequited love first, and then he confirmed his feelings for you!" Taehyung huffs, genuinely looking angry. "This whole time I thought you were secretly dating!"
Your eyebrows furrow, lips pulling down into a serious frown. What??? You'd never confessed anything, at least, in your memories. But that's when it hits you.
"I'm sorry. I just... I don't... I'm so sorry."
"Unrequited love?"
"I guess you could say that..."
"Thought so. But he loves you back."
It hits you like a goddamn freight train. This whole time Jungkook had thought you had been talking about him. Fuck. This whole time Jungkook had thought you liked him back. Fuck. All those little touches here and there, the arm linking, the side hugs—the gestures that you thought were completely innocent and friendly had meant something else for him.
But you really weren't looking for drama now. Besides, Jimin was waiting for you in the parking lot. You need to make this quick.
"O-Oh," you stutter stupidly before clearing your throat. "No, yeah, he did confess, but we just agreed to take it slow." Somehow the lie flies off your lips too easily as if your guilty conscience had disintegrated.
"Well, don't take it too slow!" Taehyung winks at you teasingly. "I want to be alive by the time you two finally date!" All you can do is nod, gripping the to-go bag tightly. Taehyung notices the gesture, realizing that you kinda wanted to leave. "Then I guess have a nice time with Kook, Y/N. Bye!"
"Thanks! Bye, Tae!"
You don't turn around once, making a beeline for the door and rushing out to the parking lot. Jimin's leaning against his car, looking off cynically to the distance. When he catches sight of you out of his peripheral vision, he perks up, a smile blossoming on his lips.
"Taehyung give you a hard time?" he asks, taking the to-go bag from you and opening the shotgun seat for you to get in.
You smile at him gratefully, sliding into the seat. "Yeah, kinda..."
"What'd he say?"
"Eh, nothing really important," you say quickly, hoping your boyfriend wouldn't want to mull over such a small deal. You don't know if he's the type to get jealous, but you don't want to find out.
Thankfully, Jimin doesn't ask any more questions. "Sooo, wanna go home?"
"Yours or mine?"
"Mine, of course," Jimin chuckles, smirking. "We don't want Jin walking in on us again."
Your face flushes at the memory, and you slap your boyfriend's shoulder for bringing it up. "Yeah, definitely." Sighing, you tug your cap down again, slouching in the seat. "This is why we should always have our dates at home."
Jimin grins. "I don't object—not when I have so many amazing activities planned."

Scars (Medic/Engineer)
Healing isn't easy but maybe, sometimes, possibly, it's worth it.
...Yeah. Definitely worth it.

thanks to @l-i-n-u-s-k-a for betaing for me! 💕 enjoy some gay science lads 'v'

Engie cringed at the sudden blaring of his alarm clock, squinting as he blindly reached for the snooze button. When he finally found it, he let out a small sigh as the beeping switched off, taking a moment to sit himself up and let out a yawn.
After reaching over again for his glasses, he let out a soft, "G'morning, sweetheart," a bit confused when he didn't hear any sleepy, annoyed grumbles in response.
He turned to his left, surprised to see that Medic's side of the bed was empty. Odd. He was pretty sure they went to bed together last night....
He shrugged. No matter. He probably just woke up before him this one time. After all, both their sleep schedules were absolute garbage, it really wasn't a surprise that Medic just happened to be up earlier.
He took a few more moments to just sit there and wake himself up before kicking the blanket off, stretching a bit once he'd gotten out of bed and cringing at the chorus of popping joints that followed.
After picking out some clean clothes, his work overalls, belt, and boots, he treaded out of his room and towards the bathrooms, his soft whistling echoing slightly in the empty halls. The silence was pretty uncharacteristic for RED but considering it was only about 5 am, nobody else would be waking up for at least the next hour.
Which meant he and Medic would have to be the ones making breakfast for everyone. Again. And while yeah, it was kind of annoying being the one making food for everyone all the time, it did mean spending some more quality time with his personal mad scientist...
Hey, you win some, you lose some.
Engie stopped whistling when he got to his destination, spying Medic at the sink as he made his way in.
Medic himself was already full dressed and looking in the mirror, leaning on the sink with one hand while the other rested on his back. His expression was a little hard to read in the reflection but he seemed to be thinking about something.
"Mornin' sunshine," Engie hummed, shifting his belongings into one hand so he could pat Medic on the shoulder a couple times.
When he did so, Medic's face immediately lit up, turning towards his boyfriend with a smile on his face.
"Good morning, my love!" He beamed, leaning over slightly to give Engie a kiss. He couldn't help but chuckle fondly at Medic's enthusiasm.
"You're up early. Somethin' goin' on?" Engie asked. Medic seemed to hesitate.
"Nope. Just woke up about an hour ago and couldn't go back to sleep," Medic shrugged.
"You sure? You didn't even notice me walk in," Engie teased. Medic smiled sheepishly.
"Ahaha, sorry, just got a little... lost in my thoughts, I suppose. You know me."
"That I do. You let me know if you need anything though, yeah?"
"Mhm, sure. Are we making breakfast again?"
"Seems like it."
"I'll let you get ready, then. Meet in the kitchen?"
"Read my mind, starry eyes."
Medic smiled again at the nickname, giving Engie another kiss as a goodbye before heading out of the bathrooms.
-
Engie let out a satisfied sigh as his Sentry went to work on BLU's unwitting team members, chuckling at the sound of a nearby Scout cursing his mouth off as he tried to run in the opposite direction of where he originally intended to go to avoid the hail of bullets aimed directly at him. Pyro giggled in amusement from beside him, holding their fist out for him to gladly bump.
Not much for them to do now, really. His sentry combined with the offense the rest of his team was currently providing meant BLU would most likely run out of time before they could get their cart to the next checkpoint and Pyro had been vigilant in looking out for any wandering baguettes on legs. Not than any had come around lately; they'd made sure of that.
The both of them were currently leaning against Engie's dispenser and watching his sentry carefully, letting out greetings to the occasional person who passed by for heals and ammo refills.
At one point, Pyro let out a mumble as they heard the teleporter whirring up, the both of them turning their heads to see a... rather frazzled Medic appear before them.
"Hey, Doc! You ok?" Engie called out, Medic panicking and immediately raising his crossbow at them.
"WOAH woah woah, it's ok, it's just us, I promise," Engie yelped, Pyro letting out a muffled yell as both they and Engie held both their hands in the air. Medic hesitated before lowering out his weapon and strapping it back to his belt.
"Sorry my love, sorry Pyro, just being... cautious," He sighed, running a hand through his already tousled hair.
"It's ok, starry eyes, I get you. Be careful out there though, yeah? BLU Spy hasn't been around here lately but the little bugger is probably still out there, somewhere.
Medic relaxed a bit at Engie's nickname for him but tensed up again at the mention of BLU Spy, the anxious look coming back to his face.
"Yes, uhm, I'll keep it in mind," He said distractedly, hand traveling to his back to the same spot he'd been touching that morning. He then shook his head before taking his medigun and flipping it on, turning to see if he could find anyone from their team to follow after.
"Hrm, Mmdm!"
"Ah- yes, Pyro?"
"Hhm mm hh m mrr hmm hrr mm??" They asked, Medic looking to Engie for his opinion.
"Fine by me! I reckon I can fend for myself for a while. Y'all have fun now, hey?" Engie grinned, Pyro clapping their hands happily before picking up their flamethrower.
"Danke, mein Schatz. I'll try and have them back before 12," Medic joked, aiming his heal beam at his new patient.
Engie chuckled, waving them off as Pyro gleefully went headfirst into the fray, Medic following closely after. That being said, he still seemed pretty wary as he quickly looked around, occasionally shifting one of his hands to his crossbow.
It wasn't necessarily weird for him to being doing so? Seeing as danger and also explosives could be lurking around literally any corner, but it wasn't very often Medic acted this spooked.
He'd ask him about it later. For now, both of them had a job to do, and that meant neither of them letting their guard down for any reason.
...Even if he was a little worried about this reason.
-
After battle, the two of them went their separate ways for a few hours. After all, Medic still had a hoard of birds to look after and Engie was really intent on finishing a new rocket launcher prototype for Soldier since his current one was starting to fall apart.
The next time they saw each other was around 11:30 pm, the both of them having retreated to Engie's bedroom to get some rest.
Well, not without Medic prodding at him to put down his tools and go brush his teeth, but still.
Currently, they were both ridding themselves of their uniforms, Medic humming softly as tossed his vest into his basket of dirty laundry.
'Well, better late then never,' Engie noted to himself, turning to Medic as he placed his hardhat on top of their dresser.
"Hey, honey?"
"Yes, my love?"
"Are you doin' alright?"
Medic took an involuntary pause and let out a sort of... nervous chuckle.
"Of- of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"
"I dunno, you've just seemed real skittish today, which isn't really like you. And you keep touchin' that lil spot in between your shoulder blades."
Medic's face fell a bit. He shook his head.
"It's. It's fine. Don't worry about it."
"Honey, just from the look on your face when you say that, I'm worryin' about it," Engie frowned as he slid off his goggles.
"What's wrong, sweetheart?"
"It's nothing, I'll get over it."
"But you don't have to get over it by yourself, Doc. I care about you. A lot. And I wanna help you feel better, even if it's just by a little bit," Engie insisted. Medic's expression softened.
"Well..."
"Yeah?"
"...It's just. BLU's Spy has been going after me a lot more often and... it's gotten to the point that even with respawn, there's a pretty deep scar where the knife always gets plunged into my back," He admitted quietly, hand involuntary moving to the affected area. Once he realized what he was doing, it look a lot of willpower to stop.
"Funny thing is, every time I touch it I'm always reminded of the numerous times I've felt cold steel sink into my spinal cord. Which you know, I should be used to by now considering I've dealt with it for however many years, but it. Still hurts sometimes. And I just... can't stop touching it. It's almost like I want to make myself miserable," He said, letting out a wry chuckle.
"...Can I see it?" Engie asked. Medic raised an eyebrow.
"Why? I mean you probably have a similar scar, considering you're also a favored target."
"Yeah but Pyro's been takin' care of him for me lately so I haven't really seen his smug lil face around in a couple days. Besides, I'm just... curious," Engie explained with a shrug.
Medic looked like he was going to protest again but decided against it. He sighed.
"...Ok," He said softly, turning his back to Engie and sitting on their bed as he started to undo his tie and the buttons on his shirt. Engie came a little closer as he did so, putting his goggles on his nightstand and trading them for his glasses.
"Ohhh sweetheart..." He mumbled involuntarily as Medic pulled his shirt down, revealing lightly tanned skin that was littered in various scars in varying shades and sizes. Most notable was the deep, discolored sort of 'x' shaped one near the base of Medic's neck, a painful reminder of all the times he'd been both figuratively and literally stabbed in the back.
Engie knew he was scarred. They all were. Kind of a given in their line of work, really, he especially had his fair share. But he'd never really looked at the one's on Medic's back that closely before, and boy were there a lot of them...
Medic shuddered slightly as Engie softly grazed his thumb over The Scar, though didn't really make an effort to stop him. Around it were several other scars that looked just knife wounds, some old and faded but others taunting and red. Numerous grievances too plentiful to count.
It was almost painful to look at.
"Honey, why didn't you tell me he was botherin' you?" He asked softly, sitting on the bed behind him with his legs crossed. Medic hesitated again.
"I didn't want to distract you. You're always so busy trying to keep all your machines alive, you shouldn't need to keep me alive too. That's my job."
"But that's what they are, baby, machines. I love them like my own children, you of all people know that, but at the end of the day I can just piece 'em back together again. It's not as easy for you, even with respawn available," Engie sighed.
"...I know," Medic mumbled, hands gripping his own arms tightly as he sort of caved in on himself. Engie felt a pain in his chest. Medic wasn't really the... Emotional type. So seeing him so vulnerable, so... hurt? It was never a sight he felt easy about.
"It's ok sweetheart, I know emotions and stuff ain't your strong suit," Engie assured, leaning over to press a soft kiss on Medic's back where his main scar was.
Medic flinched when he did so, freezing in place.
"You alright, darlin'?" Engie frowned, moving over so he could look at Medic's face.
"I'm- it's- uh. Fine. It's fine," Medic stammered, turning his head away from him. He didn't, however, resist when Engie gently cupped his jaw and turned it back, giving him a kiss on the forehead.
Medic couldn't help but relax a little, leaning over to softly head bump Engie's shoulder.
After that, the two of them wordlessly got up to finish changing, Engie opting for an old t-shirt from one of his colleges and pajama pants while Medic just slapped a pair of pajama shorts with little birds on them.
Once the two of them had gotten into bed, Engie put his arms around Medic's torso, Medic himself putting one of his hands on top of his. However, as he reached over to turn off the lamp on his side of the bed, Engie pressed a kiss on another one of his knife wound scars.
And another. And another. And now he was just trying to give a smooch to every one he saw, Medic's heart feeling as though it was going to swell out of his chest.
"I'm just going to get even more of them, you know," He breathed softly.
"And I unfortunately can't stop that. But I will do whatever it takes to help you heal, even if it means I'm kissin' every scar on your body," Engie murmured gently into his skin, pressing a final kiss on his neck.
"...God, what the fuck did I do to be so lucky?"
"Nothin' but be yourself, sweetheart. That's all I could ever ask of you."

Hide ‘n Seek
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Sieun] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 3,412 Summary: Sieun thought she wasn’t playing hide and seek, but finds out later that Chan found her.
Warning: curse words. semi-proofread, not my best work tbh
oh, look another SKZ story with Bang Chan... lol oh well. anyways, this was inspired by Jerrilyn’s Hide ‘n Seek, but then it came out differently than i had wanted and i just wrote on thinking i could bring it back to how i may have wanted it, but nope. so this is the product of it and it’s there. lol so it’s whatever as i did have fun, but it isn’t what i really wanted for it. but yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Quick, hide me!"
Sieun heard a male voice announced in a panicked-like tone before looking up with a questioning expression. She spotted a familiar face and her lips quirked upwards as she wondered what her friend did this time around.
"What did you do, Jisung?"
"Nothing." Jisung answered as he tried to hide within Sieun's belongings.
"You have to have done something because you hardly hang out in the library and people rarely come to this side of it."
"Which is exactly a great hiding spot for me right now."
He grinned at her while shuffling around her things as he pushed her out from her desk and settled himself underneath it while bringing her back to cover him. Sieun had her own private-like table at a secluded area within the library. After hanging out here since her freshman year and doing a work study, she had gotten along super well with the librarians that they made this her spot. Of course, it wouldn't be when she graduated this year, but for the time being this area was hers and hers alone. It was a perfect place whenever she had to study or needed a sanctuary from everything else.
"Stay like this and act like I'm not here." Jisung instructed her. "And if someone asks for me, act like you don't know me."
Sieun didn't respond and continued her studying before she was interrupted. Jisung frowned believing that his friend didn't hear him and patted her thigh impatiently as he repeated what he had said before. Still, Sieun didn't react and Jisung pushed her out to pop out his head to glare at her.
"Did you not hear me?"
Sieun paused and looked down at him.
"You told me to act like you're not here and that I don't know you."
"Oh, at least acknowledged that fact so I would know that I'm not talking to air."
"Do you wanna get caught for whatever you did or do you want me to help you?"
"Alright, alright."
Jisung backed off as he returned back to his position while pulling Sieun's chair back into its place again. She smirked as she went back to her books before hearing another voice loudly muttering stuff. Jisung started to slightly freak upon hearing a familiar voice as he began tapping at Sieun's legs. She slightly kicked him to calm down and he stopped while letting out a quiet ow. Sieun didn't have time to laugh at her friend's misery as the other male's voice got louder. She frowned while trying to make out who was making their way back to her secret spot through the limited open spaces of the book shelves.
Sieun's eyes followed the stranger to be alert of his presence for when he rounded the last shelf and came to full view of her sight. Her whole demeanor became super confused when she spotted Sigma Kappa Zeta's Chan standing before her. Although she was a part of a sorority, but she was more low-key about her appearance and got all of her updates from her friends who were all from different houses if not her own. Sieun just didn't understand why someone like Chan was here and looking for her friend. Then it finally clicked a moment later. Jisung had joined Sigma Kappa Zeta just last year when her friend raved on and on about it after being accepted. Sieun had totally forgotten that fact.
"Oh, hi." Chan greeted her with an awkward smile. "Thought I would find someone else back here."
"Hi." Sieun greeted back out of politeness. "What kind of person were you thinking of finding?"
"Uh, a male that's part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Sorry, just me a female who's not part of any sororities." She lied about being a part of a sorority.
"Wait. Aren't you a part of Nu Chi Zeta?"
"No. That's my friend."
"Chi Rho Theta?"
"No. That's another friend."
"Mu Beta Beta?"
"Nope. Another friend."
"Alpha Gamma Sigma?"
"Once again, no. That's my other friend."
"I feel like I've seen you before." Chan stated with a pensive look as Sieun shrugged like she had no idea what he was talking about.
"Yeah, I dunno."
Sieun knew. She had classes with him over the years, but didn't want to state that.
"How many friends do you have in a sorority that you're not in any of the ones that I've mentioned and which one are you a part of?" Chan asked with a puzzled look.
Sieun cast the male a similar look before responding not really telling him the whole truth again.
"Just those four, but why are you asking me about that? Aren't you looking for someone right now?"
"Oh, right. I am."
Chan let out a cough as he sheepishly looked off to the side of him before casting his eyes onto Sieun again who went back to her materials.
"Say," He began, "You wouldn't happen to know someone name Jisung, right?"
"Define which Jisung." Sieun remarked with her focus still on her things. "There's quite a few of them on campus."
"Oh, right. Um, his name is Han Jisung. He's a second year and he's a part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Nope, never heard him. Sorry."
She cast Chan a wide smile in hopes that he would soon go away so that she could get rid of Jisung and return back to her own thing.
"Oh, okay. Well, if you happen to chance upon him in some way, tell him that Chan is looking for him."
"Which Chan? There's quite a few with that name, too."
"Bang Chan."
"Okay. Got it."
Sieun flashed him another smile as Chan partially got the hint.
"Okay, thank you."
Chan backed up, turned around, and was about to round the corner when he did a one-eighty and came back to face her.
"Why do you have your own desk at the back of the library?"
Sieun tried to not make a face at Chan's continuous questions of making conversations with her.
"Um, is that really important right now? I thought you needed to find someone?"
"He can wait. He actually has until the end of tonight before the game's over."
"What game?"
"Hide 'n Seek."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. The fra-"
"Wait," Sieun held up a hand for Chan to stop talking, "Houses are not supposed to reveal their secrets unless the person is a part of it."
Chan shut up immediately with widened eyes. He then pointed behind him.
"I'm just gonna go."
Sieun nodded in agreement not wanting to say anything. Chan cast her one last smile before turning around and finally leaving. Sieun was about to go back to her studies when she was sudden pushed backwards having forgotten about Jisung's hiding underneath her desk.
"Were you hitting on one of my frat bros?" Jisung questioned her while sitting on his knees now as he blocked her from resuming her studying.
"I wasn't hitting on anyone and your friend was talking to me. Not me to him." Sieun clarified.
"So why did you lie that you weren't a part of sorority?"
"Was there a need for him to know that I was a part of one? I'm graduating this year and won't see him or you ever again."
She chuckled after saying that causing the male to pout.
"Hey, that's not nice. I thought we were friends."
"We were never friends."
Jisung gasped before a playful look cross his face that Sieun caught. She spoke before he could act upon it.
"Mess with me and I'll make sure to tell Chan where you're hiding."
Jisung stopped and groaned.
"Ah, always ruining my fun."
"Right. You're the one that came to bother me."
"Oh, I did, didn't I?"
Sieun narrowed her eyes at her friend.
"Why did you come all the way here when there were other places to hiding places?"
"Because you're here."
Jisung immediately shut up, but Sieun didn't probed further on that topic not wanting to involved with it.
"Whatever. Why don't you just run along and leave me alone?"
"I can't. I have to hide out until midnight tonight."
"Why?"
"Because it's part of the game. And the game states that I-"
"Ah, ah, ah," Sieun interrupted him by placing a hand over his mouth, "You can't reveal your house's secrets."
Jisung removed her hand from his mouth as a mischievous smile graced his face.
"I don't like your face." Sieun said with an unsure expression and shied away from Jisung.
The male frowned before brushing off his friend's words.
"Anyways, are you busy tonight?"
Sieun met up with her four friends, Sumin, Seorin, Chaewon, and Nayoung at CLOVER for dinner. While eating and talking about what they were gonna do tonight, Sieun found out that they were also given a small-like white placard like hers from members of Sigma Kappa Zeta.
"Wait, you guys have one, too?" Sieun asked in disbelief while bringing hers out. "Mine's from Jisung."
"Mine's from Seungmin." Nayoung stated as she brought out hers. "He gave it to me like last week."
"Oh, I got one last week, too." Seorin said as she showed hers. "It's from a kid I tutor named Jeongin."
"Hyunjin." Chaewon inputted while placing hers on the table. "He gave it to be like weeks ago in case he forgot."
"Oh, then that leaves me." Sumin piped up with a laugh as she flashed hers. "Felix gave it to be this morning."
"Did they say what it was for though?" Sieun questioned them with a frown. "I don't want to be associated with any of this."
"Sieun, you're a part of the Greek Life, you're always gonna be associated with it." Chaewon remarked with a laugh.
"I only joined because you guys did and didn't think y'all were gonna join different ones then I pledged to."
"That's just how things work." Nayoung deadpanned before casting them all a look. "This thing starts at ten. Are we all going?"
"Of course." Sumin answered. "Felix said that if I don't show up with this thing, then he doesn't get any points or whatever it is."
"He told you everything?" Seorin asked Sumin.
"No. He almost did, but I stopped him before he let out his fraternity's secret."
"So, you're saying if we don't show up, then the boys' won't get their points or something like that?" Nayoung inquired as Sumin nodded. "Yeah, something like that."
"Hmm, then Jisung's gonna get jacked shit. Serves that kid right when he almost got caught this afternoon when I was in the library." Sieun replied with a smirked.
"Why? What happened?" Seorin asked interested. "Is this that kid that bothers you all the time?"
"Yes, but his member, Chan, came looking for him and he confused me with all of y'all."
Sieun scoffed as she looked at all of her friends.
"Do I even resemble any of you?"
The other four looked at one another with a knowing look before all staring at Sieun.
"What?" She asked cautiously. "I don't like how y'all's faces look."
Sieun found herself outside of Sigma Kappa Zeta along with her friends. She didn't want to show up, but they dragged her over. Her friends still didn't respond to her questions and told her that she'll find out on her own if she came to the event at Sigma Kappa Zeta. She disliked all of this a lot, but she knew that somewhere down within her that she liked it even just a little. She won't admit it to them openly of course.
"C'mon, let's get inside."
Seorin hooked her arms with Sieun and began pulling her towards the house.
"Ohh, yeah, let's!"
Sumin joined in and hooked arms with Sieun's other side. Sieun groaned as she try to move backwards, but Chaewon came from behind her and pushed her forward. Sieun sighed knowing that she wasn't going to be able to escape any time soon. The quintet walked up to the door with Nayoung knocking on the door. Soon enough the door opened revealing another member, Minho, on the other side.
"Hel-Nayoung?"
His brows furrowed upon seeing Nayoung standing there.
"What are you doing here?"
"This." Nayoung answered as she held out the placard.
Minho took the card and frowned after reading it.
"How do you know Seungmin?"
"That doesn't matter. The others have one, too."
Nayoung ignored the male's question and instead motioned for the other four to present their cards. Minho reluctantly took them while seeming impressed by them. He glanced at all five of them with a charming smile.
"Ladies," He motioned for them to enter the house, "Welcome to Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"I thought you weren't part of a sorority."
Sieun heard from behind her as she looked over to see who it was and realized it was Chan. She was on Sigma Kappa Zeta's rooftop having chosen this spot away from her friends and not wanting to be surrounded by other people. She hated crowds and being stuck at someone else's place that she wasn't comfortable with. Also she thought that no one would want to come outside due to the cold weather. After entering the frat house, Minho informed them that they were allowed to roam the area, but cannot leave the premises until the event was over at midnight.
"I'm not." Sieun lied wondering what made him still think she was.
"Well, the only way you're here tonight is that one of the members had to have given you a placard, right?"
Chan walked closer to her, but kept his distance.
"Yes." Sieun confirmed. "What of it?"
"The condition of the invitation was that it was to be given to a sorority member."
"Aren't you exposing your house's secrets though?"
Chan ignored her statement and continued speaking.
"You're part of Sigma Theta Iota."
Sieun continued to stay silent.
"You're Park Sieun."
Sieun laughed it off not sure where he was getting at.
"Okay, and? What are you trying to get at?"
"Han Jisung invited you."
"Okay, and?" Sieun repeated not really getting it.
Sieun glanced up at Chan still staying put while Chan came over and squatted beside her. Sieun shied away not sure why he was so close.
"Is there something you want from me?"
Chan cast her a charming smile.
"I found you."
"Excuse me?"
Sieun seemed composed on the outside, but she was totally freaking out on the inside. She really hoped that whatever Chan was gonna say next wasn't what she was thinking it to be. No one knew. Not even her friends. Not even Jisung.
"Where. After. Love. Now."
Or so she thought.
"How the fuck do you know that?"
She wanted her tone to be more firm and fierce, but it came out more like a harsh unbelievable whisper. She couldn't believe that Chan had somehow found out about her hashtag project on Instagram inspired by a Thai music video. Let's just say that the project was related to Chan in a way without his absolute knowledge.
"I happened to noticed it during the class we shared a few months back when I saw it when I sat behind you."
"You were spying over my shoulder?"
"What? No. I more or less just saw you scrolling the hashtag and images and got curious."
Sieun turned away from Chan freaking out silently at the prospect that Chan now discovered the images she took of him and the overall set up for it. She could not believe he of all people found out. Then her mind went wild and wondered if everything that happened today was because of his doing. Like Jisung coming to see her at the library to lead Chan there and then later giving her the card. Her friends giving her funny looks when she mentioned Chan confusing her for her friends of different sororities. She groaned quietly at having being the last person to be oblivious about it.
"I gotta go." Sieun abruptly stated while standing up with Chan quickly following after with a puzzled look. "Wait. Why?"
"I'm not feeling well. I feel exposed. I just, this is weird and I don't know how to go about this. So goodbye."
Before Sieun could run off, Chan reached out and took a hold of her hand. He pulled her towards him and Sieun looked everywhere else, but at him. Chan found it cute, but he was more confused as he thought that now it was out in the open she would react differently.
"Sieun."
Sieun grew alert, but she just couldn't face him.
"Please look at me."
She contemplated on doing that. She didn't have to as Chan moved so he would be in her line of sight. She finally focused her attention on him.
"Alright, Chan. What?"
It came out more hostile than she had meant it to.
"Sorry." She apologized while correcting her tone. "Alright, so you know it's me, but don't get all cliche and whatever."
Chan chuckled at her words.
"Okay, but you're the one that was like playing hide and seek this hold time."
"I wasn't playing anything. You were never meant to find it."
"But they were such great photos of me although you did take them when I didn't know about them."
"You have a lot of photos of yourself circulating around campus okay. Don't think I'm some weird stalker or whatever."
"I never did."
"Oh."
Sieun then remembered that Chan was holding her hand and tried to shake his grip on her hand, but he held onto it firmly.
"Aww, I thought this was what you wanted."
"There's a difference between what I created with that hashtag and real life."
"So why not make the hashtag real?"
"You know I would die by like all your little fangirls or whatever."
"Which ones?"
"You really gonna play dumb when you have a whole entourage of girls that wanna get with you, right?"
"I'm not. I just never really noticed them until you mentioned it."
Sieun rolled her eyes while eyeing their held hands.
"Okay, Chan. You know now and I know now, but why are you still holding onto my hand."
"Didn't I say to make Where After Love Now real?"
"Bullshit. Please don't tell me that you like me, too?"
"And if I do?"
"That's some cliche shit right there."
"You do know that we've had classes over the years together, right?"
"Yes, but why asked me about what sorority I was in then?"
"I was just testing you."
"For what?"
"If you would tell me who you were or not."
"And why would I go and do that?"
"It would've made it easier to talk with you instead of having Jisung set this up."
"So Jisung did know and this is now cliche."
"I mean, one way or another, it was bound to be cliche."
Sieun sighed as she looked at Chan expectantly.
"Alright, Bang Chan, what now?"
Chan smiled at her knowingly before pulling out his phone and waving at her.
"How about a picture to commemorate our official status?"
"Official status? The fuck. We're not a couple or even dating."
"Not yet, but this can be the start of it."
"Wow."
She wavered for a bit.
"Could we like, not, do it?"
"No. We're definitely doing it."
Before Sieun could reject the idea again, Chan took a photo of their held hands. He let go only to type away on his phone. A moment later, Sieun's phone dinged. She knew that Chan had just tagged her with whatever he did on Instagram.
"Look at your phone."
"I'll do it later."
"Okay. Let's make more."
"I would rather hide."
"And then I'll seek you out."
"There's really no escaping from you is there?"
"Nope. Seems like you're stuck with me."
"Okay, well it's not bad. We just have several months with one another before graduation and then off we go to other things away from one another."
Chan rolled his eyes before laughing a second later.
"It's okay. We can talk about all of that when the time comes for it."
"I guess, but alright. So what do you wanna do?"
"Is it midnight yet?"
Sieun checked her phone and saw that there was still half an hour left before then.
"No."
"Alright. Let's grab something to eat and let Jisung suffer."
"Ohh, I like that. Let him stay and hidden."
The pair laughed as they got off the rooftop.
