I finished dungeon mechi one night, from 10 to 4 in the morning

I love this manga, and anime, the anime got me into it and I could not stop reading. It's a great, GREAT fantasy manga, this manga is a rare gem, unlike many "fantasy" manga it's not about the boobs nor stupid misunderstandings. I don't like fantasy mangas because of how many isekai and weird slave things. But after reading Frieren I got curious.

Frieren and dungeon mechi are amazing fantasy mangas, the world building, is everything.

I start reading dungeon mechi like "what a fun manga, and fun plot" and *spoilers* Laios's desire made me go insane, he is such a cute crazy puppy that want to eat monsters and when he became the dungeon master I was living for his crazy faces of hunger.

this manga does so much with the topic of hunger and getting so deep with it. Hunger and Desire. it's never ending, I relate to it so much, my god I do not know what to say but GOD THIS GOES SO FUCKING HARD

watched enough of Frieren to be confident that it fucking sucks, not quite as bad as Dungeon Mechi in that there was some sparks of goodness there between Fern and her mistress in the second episode (the part where Fern angrily responds, "I don't know what that means for you" in response to generic elf wizard saying she'll do a thing for a short while), but they both drown in the same cesspool as Sword Art Online and Goblin Slayer: detritus produced by cretins who watched dot Hack and totally missed what was good about it, the fantasy world in dot Hack was a generic ass muh slay the triangles world because it was based on old school rpgs where people just chattered at each other while grinding, and the whole story was meta, like here's the thing, the really important thing, the thing to know and notice: Nobody Fucking Cares, bro, NFC to the max, my good man, this axe dude and his village mean nothing to me and they and their generic-ass dragon baddy are just crap i don't need, go away, on god, go away and stay away, nobody fucking cares, and that whole fucking lecture about how the zardoz spell lead to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, holy shit, how does anyone stay awake through this Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality bullshit? jfc, man, jfc
