In a society where the hierarchies of alphas, betas, and omegas define social standing and family legacy, adoption is a rarity. Families fiercely guard their bloodlines, refusing to weaken their position with the introduction of an outsider. Yet, in the case of the Miya family, exceptions were made when they saw you. Abandoning a helpless young girl you was never an for your future mother. You were too precious to be left behind.
From the moment your adoptive parents met you, it felt like a blessing. Your sparkling eyes and adorable smile captivated them in an instant. You, in all your little glory, were a true delight.
Neither you nor your new family can recall a time before you became part of their lives. The notion of your adoption was never mentioned, for it didn't matter. To you, they were simply your family, your pack. The protective embrace of the Miya family, renowned alphas, became your sanctuary. Under their care, the eventual reveal of your secondary gender was irrelevant. What mattered was the bond, the love, and the undeniable connection that tied you all together.
To your older brothers, you were their cherished little sisterâsweet, gentle, and always eager to bridge the gap between them. You strived to ease their conflicts and show your love for each one of them, appreciating their unique qualities and talents equally.
Yes, you had no favourite. You loved them equally, and they both loved you in return, as their family. Until one didn't. Until something changed.
Suddenly, one of them seemed bothered by your mere presence. Always leaving the second you entered the same room, averting his gaze if your eyes were to ever meet, and ignoring your entire being at school.
This intoxicating, honey-like vapour with hints of candied oranges radiates out for metres around, drenching the halls of Inarizaki High and leaving Atsumu drunk on you.
He can't think straight, canât focus on sports or academics. Youâre the unofficial reason girls are now banned from volleyball practice. Even worse, youâre practically banned from his life. The shift from affectionate brother to distanced meanie was too sudden for you to not feel hurt. So much for your sweet sixteenâŠ
You practically ruined him overnight, your secondary gender holding effects unexpected to it. Now, instead of grabbing ice cream as a group of three, it's you alone. Unless Osamu can join, but even that seems to annoy the faux-blond. He seems irritated by everything you do or do not do. Youâre lucky if he walks off without saying a word, as every time Atsumu loses control over his emotions you end up crying in your motherâs embrace. He locks himself in his room and tries to rid himself of the nasty thoughts and feelings he holds inside.
But then there are moments...
Moments when he turns soft, when you meet at night by accident in the kitchen and heâs too drowsy to control his instincts. Suddenly, gentle eyes can't seem to look at anything but you. Suddenly, the smallest space between you seems unbearable to Atsumu.
And you let him. Youâre no better.
You embrace him, gently running your fingers through his hair, and hum softlyâyour tender care is utterly captivating. How could his hands not grasp the fabric of your shirt, his arms tightening around you to hold you close, as the warmth between you rises and your hearts beat in unison?
Yet, it all fades at the break of dawn. Only a faint blend of your scents lingersâreminiscent of breakfast, with comforting notes of cinnamon and sugar.Â
Itâs as if the scene abruptly shifts, like a sudden cut in a film. The atmosphere returns to its former state, and you find yourself once again only conversing with Osamu.Â
âÂ
Until you turn 18.
Until your first heat starts. Your nest made of anything you could grab in time, stealing blankets, pillows, an accidental hoodie of Atsumu.Something about it seemed so awfully comforting, you couldnât refuse.
At night, you weep with your face buried in the fabrics, trying to muffle the sounds of your distress while immersing yourself in the rich aroma of cinnamon and spice. Youâre burning from the inside, the need to rip your skin from your bones is almost unbearable. Your feverish state leaves you crying under the moonlight's embrace, a trembling plea of desperate longing echoes throughout the night. You crave, you need, more.
But what about your brothers? While they were both forced to wear earbuds and use scent blockers, one suffered just as much as you. Instincts, after all, cannot be completely suppressed.
Atsumu groans, his head sinking into the pillows of his bed as his eyes flutter shut.. God, he loathes this. Loathes having to run his own hands over his physique to remove his shirt. He would much rather feel your soft fingertips dip beneath the fabric and explore his heated torso. Every passing second more agonising than the one before. His only refuge is the enveloping darkness as he presses his eyes shut, desperate to escape the burning torment he's sinking into. He can hear you through the walls, your whines and moans of pain piercing through his solitude.
He really needs to move out.
â
Your parents welcome you into adulthood, finally granting you the freedom to seek out your life partner, your mate. Yet, your brother wonât even give you the chance to explore this new chapter.
No, after that night, everything changes. Heâs unnervingly close, pressing himself against your back, shamelessly inhaling your scent, burying his face in the nape of your neck. He decks you in compliments and constant touches.
Suddenly, he's everywhere around you, determined to keep anyone else at a distance instead. He insists you wear his jackets to school, wrapping you in his scent and effectively isolating you from the world. His overprotective behaviour is so extreme that even your parents are baffled by Atsumuâs mood swings. His intentions unclear as they all believe in the family bond you all have built over the years.Â
And you never voice a word of complaint. You would never even dream of challenging Atsumuâs behaviour. In fact, you seem to revel in it.
Despite Osamuâs growing suspicions and the concern it stirs in your parents, their advice falls on deaf ears. Both of you refuse their suggestion: after all, heâs your brother! You feel secure with him close by and arenât ready to meet your alpha yet. So, your parents can only observe from the sidelines, hoping and praying itâs smooth sailing until the twins move out.
Until the nest is empty.
â
What they donât know is how your older brother projects the echoes of your cries and whimpers during your nights in heat onto his fleeting encounters. At 26, he remains resolutely single, every blind date a disappointment, every hookup unsatisfying and hollow. The desire he feels for you overshadows every attempt at connection, leaving him unfulfilled and unwilling to commit.
Everything seems colourless, flavourless-until family calls.
â
Youâve moved abroad for your studies, seeking to put distance between you and Atsumu, desperate to suppress the sick thoughts and desires that have plagued your mind. You hoped that a change of scenery, far from Japan, would help you start fresh, to find your alpha and live a life untainted by these unsettling feelings.
Yet, returning home for Osamuâs engagement presents an unexpected challenge. The stage is set: the occasion is beautiful, with halls adorned in flowers and sweets to celebrate the festivities. But amidst the elegant decorations, nothing captivates quite like you. Your presence is intoxicating to Atsumu, who can hardly contain himself. Forgive him for losing his composure. Donât mind the intense stares from across the room, the desire pooling in his dark eyes that burns into your back. Promises made to his brother were forgotten the second he got a glimpse of you.
Suddenly, the suit feels too tight, the necktie suffocating, and his palms dry. Here you are. You, in a stunning dress that accentuates every curve. You radiate a glowing allure that confirmsâyou're at your prime, ripe for the taking.
A strong arm wraps around your waist, the heat of his body searing through the fabric of your dress. Without needing to turn, you already know who it is; his name escapes your glossed lips. âAtsumu.â
He pulls you close, his presence enveloping you, his voice soft and sheepish against your ear. âIâve missed ya,â he confesses, the warmth of his touch sending shivers down your spine.
Youâve missed him too, of course. Yet you tried to replace him with someone morally acceptableâa volleyball player from New York, who bore a slight resemblance to your brother. But could he ever truly fill the void left by Atsumu?
The sweet mixture of scents turns sour before you can even reply to Atsumu, before you can admit how much youâve missed him as well. His fingertips explore your neck, lingering on your scent gland, fainted dents still feasible for his touch. The pressure borders on painful, as he demands an answer with a dangerous edge: âWho?â
If looks could kill, youâd be a dead woman. Your anxious scent mingles with his anger, creating an intense atmosphere that seems to draw everyoneâs attention. The events unfold faster than your family can react. You feel the sting of his nails digging into your skin, jealousy manifesting as sharp pain as blood threatens to stain your dress.
Osamu, ever the protector, shields you from Atsumuâs anger, ensuring to guide you out of the halls in a rush. âI apologise for what he did,â the dark-haired twin mumbles, as he patches you up. âIt wasnât supposed to go like this, I promise.â He meets your eyes with a searching look. âHe swore to keep his distance. And I thought youâd bring your boyfriend.â
You finally admit in defeat, âHe couldnât make it. I didnât want to pressure him eitherâitâs too soon for him to fly over ten hours just to meet myâŠâ You hesitate, casting a glance around the room as a deep sigh escapes you, ââŠfamily.â
Osamu nods, understanding. He returns to kneeling in front you, his expression filled with concern. âI hoped that after all these years, Atsumu would have cooled off.â
You cut him off, feeling an odd need to defend the blond. âHe never did anything wrong,â you insist, trying to convince both Osamu and yourself as your gaze falters. âIâm just as much to blame as he is.â With this declaration, you rise and offer Osamu your hand, helping him back to his soon-to-be wife and the rest of the guests.
Nothing could have prepared you for the smellâthe overpowering stench that no flowers could mask. Atsumu sits at the table, his eyes unfocused as your father speaks to him, the words a blur as his lips move too fast for you to catch. You only learn the outcome of the conversation when your mother asks you to approach your oldest brother.
Standing beside him now feels different, a new layer of fear creeping into your emotionsâsomething you never anticipated feeling from him. âIâm sorry,â Atsumu finally breaks the heavy silence, straightening up to face you while avoiding your eyes. âI guess my protective instincts went a bit overboard after⊠all these years.â He clears his throat, cringing slightly at his own words.
With all eyes on you, you can only hum in agreement before youâre guided to sit beside Atsumu. The effort to mask the sour scent of his anger and soothe him only possible with you being closeby. You have to forget about your own feelings for the day; after all, the event is meant for enjoyment and celebration. Every smile you force, every laugh you share feels tainted with an aftertaste of discomfort, yet you try to maintain a semblance of normalcy, for Osamu.
But the close proximityâshoulders brushing, hands fleetingly touching, eyes meetingâheightens the tension between you. Your heart races uncontrollably, and shivers travel down your spine, each sensation a reminder of the internal struggle between your morals and instincts.
Atsumu, everso selfless, extended an offer for you to stay at his apartment. It was a gesture of goodwill, though it now feels like an unexpected complication. No one anticipated his behaviour would spiral this much, especially after the plans had been made. Your parents, trusting their children, hoped that Atsumu would have matured enough and that staying at his place would be more comfortable for you. They assumed you were busy enough with your studies and the hassle of flying back home to Japan that they simply decided for you weeks ago.
But as the door to Atsumuâs apartment clicks shut, the reality of the situation settles in. The safety of this space, the sanctuary you hoped for, now feels like a fighting ring where the unresolved tension might only grow.
Atsumu carefully guides you to your room, setting down your luggage, while repeating the same sentence over and over in his head: âLet her in and leave, lock your door, go to sleep.â Yet, as he turns to face you, his presence looms over you like a storm, his hands grazing your neck with a possessive, almost reverent touch, as his eyes lock onto yours.
âWho?â he asks again, his voice a low, dangerous murmur that sends shivers down your spine.
The blockers youâve relied on falter under the overwhelming force of his scent, a potent mix of spice and raw desire that fills the room and stirs something deep and primal within you. You try to form a coherent response, try to remember the name of your partner, but your mind is consumed by the intoxicating presence of Atsumu. Each breath you take is thick with his scent, and you find yourself struggling to maintain a shred of rational thought.
Your attempt to explain dissolves into a stuttering mess, and all you can manage is a pathetic, âNot you.â The words escape your lips as a weak, desperate whimper, and Atsumuâs reaction is immediate and intense. A guttural groan of frustration erupts from him as he seizes your hips, pulling you roughly against his chest. His powerful arms encircle you, creating a cocoon of warmth that feels both incredibly comforting and alarmingly suffocating.
You canât deny the wave of relief that washes over you as his scent engulfs you, blending with your own and heightening the undeniable ache between your legs. The slickness pooling in your panties is a blatant testament to your arousal, and Atsumuâs keen senses pick up on it immediately. His fingers dig into your body with a possessive urgency that makes your head spin.
A mental war rages within you: the clear, rational part of your mind screams that this is wrong, that your relationship with Atsumu is taboo and fraught with complications. But itâs overpowered by a darker, primal greed that drives you to clutch at him with a fervent need. You canât ignore the way your body responds to his touch, the way every fibre of your being craves him despite the guilt and confusion clouding your thoughts.
Your arms wrap around his neck, pulling him closer as your lips brush against his neck. A desperate plea slips from your lips, echoing a longing you can no longer suppress. âAlphaâŠâ
Atsumuâs groan vibrates through your body as his lips trail down your jawline, a possessive hunger that makes your knees weak. His tongue flicks over your scent gland, marking his claim with a rasping, âMine, always been mine.â And it all gets too much for little you. Tears stream down your cheeks as you plead, âTsumu⊠pleaseâŠâ Each cry is a mix of desperation and guilt, torn between what you know is wrong and the overpowering need within you.
âYouâre telling me you belong to someone else? Yet you beg for me,â he speak lowly into your ear. As his sounds and murmurs fill your ear, the boundaries of right and wrong blur, leaving you surrendering to Atsumuâs fierce desire. His hands grip your waist with a primal hunger, the scent of desire thick in the air as he towers over you.Â
You shake your head, incoherent cries escaping your lips. âJust you⊠Ever always⊠Tsumu⊠YoursâŠâ Atsumuâs breath hitches as he nips at your neck, his canines grazing your skin with a tantalising edge that sends shivers down your spine. The primal need within you breaks free, overwhelming your morals.
His erection presses against your tummy, the scandalous sensation causing a moan to escape you. You arch your body, craving the heat and pressure only he can provide. Atsumuâs grip tightens, fingers digging into your flesh as he revels in your response.
âGood omega,â he growls, his voice a low rumble that vibrates through you. His hands explore your body, tracing your curves before sliding under your dress to caress your bare skin. Every touch is electric, fueling the fire between you.
When his fingers brush against your damp panties, Atsumuâs leans closer, his breath hot against your ear as he whispers, âYouâre mine, every part of you.â You moan in reply as his touch makes your body tremble, his weight pressing against you with a throbbing intensity.
âPleaseâŠâ you beg, grinding against him, seeking more friction. âTsumu⊠I needâŠâ The energy almost driving you to come undone already, each touch overwhelming your self-control.
Atsumuâs movements are motivated by an insatiable need, his rough hands unrelenting as he pushes you onto the bed. âI need you,â he utters, his voice thick with desire. Your heart pounds, anticipation and desperation spiralling out of control as he undresses, his clothes hitting the floor in a blur. The raw need coursing through you is almost unbearable, each second that passes intensifying your craving. His every movement is a tease, a promise of the release youâre aching for, and your body trembles with a desperate hunger that feels as though you need him to survive.
He tears away your dress with frantic urgency, his lips scattering kisses across your exposed skin. âSo perfect,â he murmurs into your skin, his breath hot and ragged. His touch ignites a fresh wave of need as his lips trail down your collarbone, his fingers finding the hem of your panties and stripping them away with fervent determination. âTell me what you want,â he demands, his voice a low rasp.
When he finally tastes you, his tongue exploring your core with hungry abandon, each lick fuels the fire within. âMore,â you plead, âPlease, Tsumu, more!â
He hums in approval, swearing to himself to give you everything you crave. As he positions himself between your thighs, his body presses against yours with an intensity that leaves you breathless. Atsumuâs breath comes in ragged bursts as he looks down at you, his eyes dark with an almost feverish desire. âMaybe I should just fuck you senseless,â he muses, his voice thick with hunger. You whine in need, your body trembling as you practically drool over the sight of him. His slightly too-big cock rubs teasingly against your folds, each friction sending jolts of pleasure through your core.
âGonna fill that sweet little cunt with my cumâŠâ he groans, his words a sultry promise as he coats himself with your juices. Without any further preparation, he pushes into you. The stretch is overwhelmingâtoo much, too good, too painful, yet just right. Itâs as if he belongs inside you.
Your body arches instinctively to meet him, a desperate cry escaping your lips as you revel in the sensation. The connection between you both is undeniable, and with each inch that he sinks deeper, youâre consumed by the desperate need that has built up between you over the years.
Atsumu moans in response to your cries, his voice a low growl. âBreed you all day long, fuckâŠâ he continues, his words a promise of unrelenting passion. He pauses for a moment, his hand gripping your hip tightly to hold you in place. The tip of his cock presses deeply into your fluttering walls, each thrust reaching parts of you that make your body shiver.
âNot already coming from just this, are you, baby?â Atsumu growls, his breath hot against your skin. His voice is laced with a mix of teasing and hunger, the edge of possessiveness clear in his tone. When you nod, your soft mewls send shivers through him.
Your arms tighten around his neck, pressing your face against his warm, soft skin as you beg, âPlease, pleaâah, take care of me.â Your desperation is punctuated by those pathetic little whimpers, a level of need that drives your Alpha absolutely insane.
Atsumu pulls out of you momentarily, his gaze locked on yours. He groans, ââCourse I will,â before his hips snap forward again, plunging into you with a relentless force. Each thrust is driven by years of pent-up frustration and need, every motion filled with unfiltered desire.
You writhe beneath him, consumed by an overwhelming urge for his bite, his cock, his knot. You crave to be filled to the brim, your body yearning to be stretched and stuffed until you're perfectly round and swollen. âTsumuâ Your voice is desperate, barely recognizable as your own, laced with need. âI'm breeding your sweet little cunt and youâre going to take every. single. drop.â With the last words he already thrusts harshly into you. Big hands claw into your waist, forcing your body to arch helplessly as he dominates you. His thrusts are deep and relentless, each powerful movement making the fat of your ass jiggle. âSuch a good bunnyâŠâ Atsumu groans, his voice dripping with possessive satisfaction.
âNow, come for me,â Atsumu commands, his gaze fixed on your quivering form. âCome all over me.â Desperation claws at you as you seek your release, your weak hands scratching at Atsumuâs back, leaving red streaks that burn on his skin. Legs spread wide for your alpha, your breasts bounce with every forceful thrust of Atsumuâs hips, connecting with yours in a delightful rhythm. Pleasure clouds your mind, reducing you to a chant of his name, each utterance a desperate plea.
Atsumu's mind roars with need as he looks down at you. He wants to mark you, claim you completely, and breed you. Now that he has you beneath him, he is determined to savour every moment, to ensure you are utterly his. He wants to see you drunk on his cock, to take care of you, his darling omega, until all but him is forgotten.
Atsumu feels you clenching around him, your tightness pushing him to the brink. âJust like that, good girl,â he groans, his voice rough with need. âYouâre gonna make me cum.â The desire in his eyes is fierce as he thrusts deeper, the remnants of his control fraying with every movement.
With each powerful thrust, Atsumu's need to possess you grows. He envisions you marked, claimed, and filled by him, an unbreakable bond forged in this moment of passion. The rhythm of your bodies is a dance of primal desire, your cries of ecstasy blending with his guttural groans. The world outside fades away, leaving only the two of you, lost in a whirlwind of pleasure and need.
As you feel the peak of your release approaching, your body tightens around him, every nerve ending aflame with sensation. Atsumu's words, his touch, his presence, all coalesce into a symphony of desire that drives you over the edge. You tremble beneath him, your breaths coming in ragged gasps, your heart pounding in time with the rhythm of his thrusts.
You ache for him to release inside you, to fill you to the brim with the warmth you craved. The slap of his thighs against yours, the wet, frantic noises, and the erratic breaths all that fills the space between you. His strong scent envelops you, mingling with your own, as his fingers find your clit, rubbing with a relentless rhythm. The pleasure is overwhelming, stars exploding behind your closed eyes, your mind unable to grasp anything but the ecstasy he is giving you.
Atsumuâs chest presses heavily against you, a constant reminder of his dominance. âDonât ever forgetââ he rasps, his grip tightening on your hips. âThat pretty cunt⊠these perfect tits⊠every damn inch of you belongs to me.â His words were a possessive threat, a vow of ownership.
He has you, his delicate omega, completely at his mercy. He's never going to give you away again. He feels high thanks to the way you unravel beneath him, turning you into a trembling, sobbing mess, overwhelmed by the intensity of his touch and the sheer force of his desire.
In that moment, you both reach the pinnacle of your desires, your high-pitched moans intertwining with Atsumu's deep, guttural ones. And he fills you so deliciously. Atsumuâs knot swells, pressing tightly inside you as he fills you with his cum. Each pulse of his release sends waves of ecstasy through you, making you feel as if youâre on the brink of losing yourself. His teeth bite down on your neck, and the stinging sensation sends lightning to course through your weakened frame, chiselling your bond in stone. It feels as though the world has narrowed to just the two of you, your bodies entangled in a state of perfect, overwhelming bliss. âMine, all mine...â the hushed promised whispered into your nape.
As the sensations finally begin to recede, you drift into unconsciousness, the warmth of sleep enveloping you and providing a hazy escape from mistakes made in the dark.

âăReturning home to you.ăâ
-----âĄ
A/N: Alright so, I'm noticing, that I'm getting really burnt out with writing for hsr recently and to keep my mental health from tanking completely, I've decided to write something for my current Chainsaw man obsession as a small break! I hope you guys will like it!<33
Featured characters: Aki, Denji, Power, Makima
Content: Fluff, established relationship, some angst because it's csm, sfw
Reader has no set pronouns!
((Not fully proofread))
-----âĄ
ăAki Hayakawa
For Aki, the best time of the day, is him finally being able to come home to you. He never thought that he'd ever find a s/o to return to after a long day of work, as he was always so hellbent on revenge and could die at any given moment due to his occupation. And yet, he still found you, the only person that made living still worth a damn on his hardest days.
You take care of him so well too. You always greet Aki at the door, happily helping him out of his jacket, as you tell him about the mundane things you've done that day. You give him a sense of normalcy he always secretly craved to have deep down. He is starved for attention and knows he's lucky to have you.
The moment he steps through the front door and sees you, he can leave the evil truth of the world behind, until his next shift inevitably begins. Sure, not everything always goes as smoothly and he knows, that this won't last forever. But in your arms, he can pretend that it will.
-----âĄ
ăDenji
He sometimes thinks that he's dreaming, whenever he comes home to you. He still can't believe, that he actually achieved everything he always wanted to. He has a pretty s/o, good food and a seemingly better getting life! It's all he wanted and more! So whenever he does come home, he immideatly pulls you into a hug, happily muttering to himself about how proud he is.
He loves it, when you cook food for him. He doesn't care what it is or if it's good. Denji doesn't discriminate and whatever you cook is certainly much better than whatever he was used to. He'll practically praise everything you do for him. As a thank you, he'll get you flowers or gifts. Even if they aren't the best, you still know that he appreciates you greatly.
To him, you are one the first people that gave him the sense of a home. He was always only able to imagine how it must've felt like, but now that he has it for real, he won't let you go. He can't let you go. Not when you make him feel like a loved human for once.
-----âĄ
ăPower
It's a miracle, that she even properly finds her way home, after a long day at work. And when does, she's usually muddy or covered with blood, which results in her being forced into a bath, before she dirties the floor you just cleaned. Meowy often watches you struggle with Power, as she calls out for the cats help.
You are her favourite human and should be proud that you are. She tells you so everyday and expects you to thank her, which also earns her a deadpan and a shake of your head. But as much as she acts superior to you, she actually does appreciate everything you do for her. Especially the safe home you provide for her and her cat.
She often therefore thanks you in unconventional ways, like bringing you dead birds or wild flowers she found... she's trying, I promise. But her presence is surely a thank you enough too, right?
-----âĄ
ăMakima
Makima comes home calmly and seemingly stress-free. She often always has something to give you and her dogs as well. Pretty flowers for you and treats for them. She always greets you all cheerfully, before just simply demanding hugs and affection from you.
She clinges onto you at home, thanking you for your loyalty and being so good for her, before she helps you out with some house chores. She loves it, when you do domestic things together, as she doesn't really have the need to rest after work.
She never speaks of work with you and you never ask either. She doesn't let any of her "co-workers" know that she has a partner anyways, as you are her little secret. You are a separate part of her life as a devil hunter and the only sense of normalcy she has outside of it. It's why she appreciates you so much and makes sure you always know that, even after she had a long and tiring day.
-----âĄ
A/N: So this is my first time writing for csm characters and I hope it's okay! It honestly helped me feel alot better too!<33
Csm requests are also appreciated!<33

Sasakoi Chapter 50
Based on Sasakoi chapter 50, I wanna dive into Miki's character a little bit and analyse how her arc might turn out, as well as the possibilities behind her current feelings.
What left most readers (including myself) confused after chapter 49 was when Miki stormed off in a rage after Ayaka confessed to her, and then, later that night, she's seen ignoring Aki and crying.
Although this is given a little bit of an explanation in chapter 50:
... it doesn't explain the rest of the chapter very much.
Miki may have genuinely gotten into a fight with Aki, causing her sudden outburst, but she most likely said that to give Ayaka an excuse for her outburst. Next, we bring up these panels:
It's very obvious that Miki does highly struggle with romance based on the reveal of her backstory with her previous unnamed romantic partner. It was clear that this heartbreak heavily affected Miki emotionally, and that Aki was the one to help her get through it.
From the way chapter 49 ended, I had assumed that Miki might've been upset with Ayaka for confessing in such an open and public vicinity, instead of doing it in private. Or, she may've been upset with Aki and the others for jumping at her before she could even properly give her answer; it was still unclear.
However, on the last two pages, it is clear that she is upset with Aki, but the most confusing part is this:
Here, I'm assuming that Aki wants to support Ayaka's love for Miki, when she says "I want to support her too", because of the fact that she's now dating Shiho; she wants to help others in having their love come true.
But, because of the way Miki reacted, it wasn't surprising that most people assumed that this was going down the path of inc*st, as it seems Miki was upset because Aki, by trying to get Ayaka and Miki together, doesn't "understand how she feels", aka implying that Miki likes Aki romantically.
HOWEVER, I beg to differ for a few reasons:
sasakoi is one of my favourite mangas and I'm just praying that it doesn't end up going down the path of inc*st like what happened with Oshi no Ko.
what's happening in these pages specifically:
Prior to these, we see Miki's reaction to when Aki tells her that she and Shiho are dating. And, we can tell that she doesn't seem pleased; she's clearly shocked and upset. She then states that she wouldn't think about it too much and that she would continue acting normal.
With this, I assume that Miki may have felt as if Aki was leaving her behind; the fact that Miki continues to struggle in finding a romantic partner, but now Aki has found herself one. Or, she's jealous that Aki is now in a romantic relationship.
Moving on, the panel of Ayaka confessing to Miki comes next, and the panel of Aki supporting her also appears. This is where I theorise what I think Miki might be thinking, and that she's upset with Aki for:
forgetting about her previous heartbreak which clearly made her visibly upset.
forgetting that she continues to struggle with romance and tends to panic at the idea that people around her were getting into romantic relationships left and right (also mentioned in chapter 50)
Hence, when Miki finds out that Aki was giving Ayaka romance advice in order for the two of them to get together, it is plausible that this is why she was so upset; because Aki completely forgot or disregarded how distressing romance is for her due to that one heartbreak.
And, because Aki was the person who helped her get through these difficult times, Miki may have just felt betrayed, which is why Aki supposedly "doesn't care" about how she feels.
Additionally, we have these panels:
"if I go out with Senpai, I would finally have a lover of my own and be able to give up on Nee-chan."
I don't blame people for assuming that this is going down the inc*st path, because I did as well.
But, based on what I said previously, I also interpret this scene as Miki "giving up on" Aki's emotional support. She's been relying on Aki as her older sister and as her emotional support through her whole romance life, and she even said that dating Ayaka to forget about Aki would just be being dishonest.
"Dishonest" as in she still hasn't moved on from Aki's emotional support when getting over her heartbreak. And, finding a lover of her own would mean that Aki would no longer hold the place of being the most important person to her.
It's all very confusing as romance is a difficult concept to grasp, so this is all just speculation, hence we just have to wait for Takeshima to release more chapters!
The only thing that is 100% apparent is that romance clearly causes Miki distress, and that she does struggle in coping with her previous failed romantic relationship. However, Aki was the one to support and help her overcome this, which is why Miki ends up being so emotionally attached to Aki.
Overall...
Idk if any of what I said made sense, and I'm sorry that everything is all over the place đ
I really love Miki and I hope her character doesn't end up going on the path of inc*st, but I have faith in Takeshima that she won't do that, but only time will tell.

The development of Chainsaw Man and Tatsuki Fujimoto's writing (part 1)
Tatsuki Fujimoto is an talented mangaka who has written some of the most amazing works I have ever seen. A lot of people seem to undermine the complexity and seriousness of part one, most likely due to the fact that the story itself contains a lot of straightfoward humour and questionable sexual content that is difficult to be taken seriously... and also how a large portion of his audience are horny emotional trainwrecks who only read his manga to see Makima's ass.
Fujimoto is unafraid to be true and completely honest in his works, creating complex characters and a plot that defies typical shonen stereotypes. The general idea of Chainsaw Man is undoubtedly very shonen, but he has managed to warp his story into something that resembles more of a character drama which I think is refreshing and influential. I sometimes like to think that Fujimoto forced himself to insert the action into Chainsaw Man just to please the majority of the younger manga community while also labelling it as Shonen so it could be published onto a magazine as influential as Jump to recieve worldwide attention. But personally, I feel like Fujimoto does not excel at creating a plot that revolves mostly around fighting, action and adventure which are some of the typical shonen elements that are highly appreciated. In fact, I feel like the pacing and panelling in some early Chainsaw Man chapters weren't executed well. I especially have minor issues with the overly rapid pacing of, for instance- the beginning of Bomb devil arc (where I personally believe that Reze could have become a more fleshed out character despite the fact that she was putting on a facade for most of the arc- extending the period before her reveal by increasing the amount of interactions between Denji and her would heighten the tension even further, allowing her character reveal to be more dramatic and shocking. Not only this, although I love the idea behind the International Assasins arc - it wasn't executed as well as it could have been. It was just too chaotic and fast paced in my opinion, it leaves the reader very confused on their first read due to the lack of explanation and the constantly shifting of perspective in the panelling. Some of the earlier fight scenes in csm were also drawn messily, making it difficult for the reader to visually understand the ongoing action. Finally, I also think that some of the characters were just killed way too early, so early to the point where possible character development was unable to be executed.)
Despite these minor setbacks, Chainsaw Man part one remains to be one of my favourite mangas, not because it is flawless, perfect or anything like that. It was because of the characters. Makima and Aki were remarkable characters that are three dimensional and complex, and was- in my opinion, the characters that were the most interesting and fleshed out. Denji is a character who was meant to be laughed at, but underneath this lies a boy who has lived such a tragic life, you can't help but sympathise with him. I love Chainsaw Man because I have formed a deep emotional connection with it, a feeling completely separate from liking a story due to it's masterful writing and art. Writing characters is an area that Fujimoto excels at, he creates addicting, relatable, beautifully written characters that you simply fall in love with. This is an area that is in desperate need for improvement in works that fall under the shonen demographic. Fujimoto writes great female characters, he surely loves writing women haha. A lot of Shonen works have terribly written female characters who were only made to please the male gaze and add "diversity' to the cast- while female characters in Chainsaw Man are portrayed in a realistic manner, actually driving the story forwards and making impact. After Chainsaw Man part one, the popularity of this manga just continued to skyrocket. Fujimoto went on hiatus, producing Look Back and Sayonara Eri in the process. Below is a section of what Fujimoto wrote in his author's notes in "before csm" addressing his feelings while writing Look Back along with noting down some details explaining his struggles in pursuing art during his early years after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
"I went back to volunteer one more time after that. Then I stopped. This was because I was doing oil painting, which gets expensive, and I had to draw manga in order to pay for it. From age 17, that sense of powerlessness has always been following me around. Every time there was another tragedy, my sense that my pursuits serve no purpose at all grew bigger"
"Recently, I drew a manga called Look Back to try and finally vent those feelings. Oddly enough, once I drew it, I think I was able to process them a bit. Looking at this collection of one-shots now, In that state of mind, I remembered a lot of things. Not just that I would draw while feeling powerless, but also that I would draw while really hungry, and how I was always practicing art with my friends. It brought back memories so fun that I have to wonder why I'd only been remembering the dark things. Now I feel glad that I got to have not just Look Back collected in a book, but these one-shots too."
I assume that Look back and Sayonara Eri are works that Fujimoto have always wanted to write- stories that he wrote for himself, not to please his audience anymore (after his immense success in csm, there was no need for him to gain further attention) I'm so proud of him lmao. Part 1 of Chainsaw Man is influential, iconic and an amazing piece of work- but did Fujimoto really like his story? Did he force himself to write Chainsaw man? Part 1 felt rushed, a lot of the story was improvised and messy at times as a result of his crazy work schedule. I sometimes like to think whether the end result of Chainsaw Man was really something Fujimoto wanted to create? What would have happened if he didn't have to please his audience and work under this terrible schedule that influenced his ability to fully express his best work? Fire Punch was a less successful piece that is quite different from Chainsaw Man (which actually appears to be more conventional when comparing it to the obscurity of Fire Punch). Did he try to create a piece of work that appeared to be shonen just so it could be attractive?
"All mangaka wanted to do this job because they love sharing stories and drawing, but when you actually become a mangaka, you realize you need to handle everything alone. When working for weekly magazine, you just don't have enough time. The schedule is too intense, and you need to work as fast as possible. I always end up improvising some things during the inking phase to save time. I'd like to do both the characters and backgrounds myself, but this is so difficult I need to ask my assistants to handle the backgrounds".
This was what Fujimoto said when someone asked whether the suffering of Chainsaw Man's characters actually reflect his feelings:
"I never thought about it, but it's all definitely inspired by my own feelings. It might be the reflection of my daily routine. I work alone for a weekly magazine. It's incredibly difficult, and I don't want my series to get canceled, so I work non-stop".
After Chainsaw Man part 1, we had the opportunity to see two oneshots that were not created under the pressures of time and success. Works that once again, had such lovable, remarkable and raw characters that reflected Fujimoto's talent in character writing along with art that was noticeably more refined, clean and beautiful. In my opinion, these two oneshots exceeded the quality of the entire first part of Chainsaw Man, you don't have to agree- but Fujimoto's development as a mangaka surely is prominent.
This is all for now, follow me for more content like this, I'll upload a part 2 to this where I begin talking about Chainsaw Man part 2!

hear me out denji x asexual reader /pos
i feel like the fanfiction fandom really lacks of queer representation esp aromantic/asexual one so i'm here to change that đ€
it will be a regular trope, in which basically y/n is makima's sister and the two of you met during the trip to enoshima
author's note: i only read around chapter 55 so some things might not be accurate/canon đż there might be some grammar errors since i'm not a native speaker so please bear with me đ©č
(also ngl i'm lazy to write denji's "i can't fall in love with someone else than makima" because i just woke up and bffr he deserves better (by better i mean me obviously) but yea idc i alr specified this wouldn't be canon)
âŒALL CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP âŒ
âšenjoyâš
POV: y/n
it was a peaceful afternoon of summer. you were waiting for your sister's call to pick her up at the airport. you remembered the last call she gave you and, even though she didn't show it,you could feel that she was missing you.
before you decided to head to the airport, you decided to buy some groceries, so that you could welcome them well.
you came back home with some yakisoba, some raspberries and some strawberry flavored rice alcohol, as you knew it was makima's all time favourite.
as soon as you started cooking, your phone rang.
-hi, y/n here! you said cheerfully.
-hello, y/n, said calmly makima. are you still OK with picking us up at the airport?
-sure!! you said happily. but what do you mean by "us"-?
-thank you!! she said, interrupting you ,not answering your question.
what did she mean by "us"? you thought as you made your way to your car. wasn't she supposed to come alone?
POV: makima
-makimaaa, denji said with a pout, when's your sister comiiiing ?
-be patient, denji-kun, she's on her way, i said with a smile.
power sighed loudly as a way of saying "why can't she come faster?" ,while angel and aki remained silent.
i headed to the closest shop to get denji, power and angel ice cream.
i swear to god they can be so childhish sometimes i said to myself.
my phone vibrated. it was a text from my sister.
oya big sis, what's up? i'm next to the building b, i'm waiting for you !! hurry bitch i'm not gonna wait forever. c'ya <3
i couldn't help but smile at my phone. even though we didn't meet much due to our jobs,we always loved seeing each other.
-oiii, who's text are you smiling at? both denji and power asked.
-it was y/n, she said she's under the building b. come on kids, let's go!
we all headed to where my sister was, happy as we could be with our almost melting ice creams. y/n also got herself a strawberry one, the kind of ice cream we used to eat when we were children. seeing she remembered this was heartwarming.
POV: y/n
-HEYYYY BIG SIIIISSS HOW ARE YOU??? I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!! you yell as you run to hug her. hold on. who are these people? you didn't tell me you weren't alone.
-the name's denji!! he said cheerfully claimed.
-i'm power! nice to meet ya!!
-my name is aki hayakawa. mice to meet you and thank you for the ride.
-ice cream, said who i assume was the angel devil.
the ride was a little uncomfortable because i wasn't used to talking to people i didn't know. the heavy silence lasted for a while until my favorite song came on the radio. i immediately recognized the first notes of sweet/ i thought you wanted to dance.
-AYO I LOVE THIS SONG yelled denji, TURN THAT SHIT UP
we all swayed to the music on the way home, and it made me feel a little better to see that i wasn't as alone as i thought i was.
as soon as we got home, while i was preparing yakisoba for the rest of the group, makima joined me in the kitchen to ask me:
-i booked four hotel rooms, do you mind having denji staying here?
at first,i wasn't comfortable with sharing my appartment with someone i barely knew, but afterthought i was like "hey why not that's a good way to get to know someone"
OK this is the first part ngl i'm a bit lazy to proofread myself so i apologize for any mistake there can possibly be.
thank you for reading and have a good day !! (â©^o^)âââ

my time has come
I hc that heizou notices you constantly eating out due to work and thinks to himself âwell thatâs not very healthy and financially goodâ so he takes it upon himself to learn how to cook
like imagine him trying his best with handmade bentos and like they are edible but definitely not good. He at least starts out better than Ei.
But as the time goes on he asks Thoma for help and cooking lessons and eventually becomes pretty good at cooking food, like this time there is enough salt! And the tamagoyaki actually is rolled up well!!
he doesnât know that every time he makes food for you, no matter how good or bad it is, you still eat it all up because you can just taste the love he has put in to make it.
Also also imagine him having the stereotypical red string thumbtack board thing whenever he solves a particularly difficult case and explaining how everything comes together to you, while you listen in
you sometimes piece together certain possibilities for the case that he didnât think of, and as a reward he would kiss you on the forehead, ruffle your hair and call you âmy little detectiveâ
Alright thatâs all I got. Hope these helped
~aki
for some reason i had a brainwave when reading the red string board bit and hang on
what if, like, on valentineâs day or something like that, you walk into his room and heâs got the string and photos all up on the wall and stuff, but youâre a bit confused because youâre pretty sure heâs not currently on a case. nonetheless, you ask about how itâs going, and he answers that he actually just found the person he was looking for. you ask who, and he ties a loose end of red string hanging from the board to your pinkie (and shows you that he has one tied around his own which he was hiding behind his back before), and smirks, âdoes that make it any clearer?â
i donât know, maybe iâm going insane here. anyways.
i really like the cooking headcanon, and i feel like heâd take great care to learn how to make your favourite dishes until he has them memorised and always has the ingredients on hand so he can whip something up for you if youâre feeling down.
iâm just imagining heizou as that meme with the guy furiously explaining the things on that board (if you know the one iâm talking about); except that he wouldnât get quite as feral when explaining it to you.
if you ever find a clue or some pattern he overlooked, he always feels this sense of pride bloom in his chest, because heâs like: thatâs my partner. theyâre so smart. and amazing. oh my god.

Is there any anime that you weren't sure on when you started watching it, but it ended up exceeding your expectations and you really enjoy it now? On the other side of it, is there any that you started watching totally excited for, only to be disappointed?(feel free to list and explain more than one if it is applicable!)
Thanks for the ask, friend!! Let's get to it! Warning to everyone else: there are spoilers for the series I'm talking about. Also, remember this is just my opinion and you don't have to agree with me at all!
Is there any anime that you weren't sure on when you started watching it, but it ended up exceeding your expectations and you really enjoy it now?
Yes, there are a couple anime that fit this criteria.
Fire Force
The first one on this list is actually Fire Force. When I started Fire Force I thought the opening went a little too fast and introduced characters too quickly. Mostly due to Hibana being introduced very quickly only after we met all of Company Eight along side Shinra. However, I shoved that feeling aside because Hibana is linked closely to Iris so I figured it was fine.
I'm super glad I stuck with the series because I absolutely adore Fire Force. It gave me one of my favourite pairings (Kanro/Benimaru) and the twist with the series at the end (I've read the manga) is amazing. I'm stocked to see the whole series animated.
(Also, the series gave us, you and I only, the best nickname in "Beaky" so...)
Free!
When Free was airing I was still a lifeguard/swimming instructor and felt that watching Free would be akin to me guarding a speed swim practice or competition. I also worried that they wouldn't animate the swimming strokes correctly (the most common one I see done dirty is breast stroke with the whip kick). I'm very glad my fears were unfounded. I love the series, even though I only watched the first two seasons. Season three is still largely unwatched mostly due to the new characters suddenly retconned into Haru's past.
On the other side of it, is there any that you started watching totally excited for, only to be disappointed?
Chainsaw Man
I know this is an extremely unpopular opinion, but hear me out. I am mostly caught up with the manga, so I'm not only basing this opinion on the anime.
I don't dislike Chainsaw Man. There are many elements that I enjoy with all my heart. I also don't like it; I'm neutral towards the series.
I think the big reason behind this is one element: I don't feel a single emotional attachment to any character or scene. If you asked me if there was a moment that tugged at my heart strings or made me pause in suspense the answer is nothing. I suppose I felt some sadness when Pochita dies for Denji, but I already knew that would happen as the inciting incident. Heck, I didn't feel anything when Aki and Power died and they're main characters. The only moment I felt anything was when I saw what Denji did to Maki's body, but that wasn't dawning horror but rather, "Oh! I didn't expect the series to go there..." reaction.
However, there are elements I enjoy with the series. The animation is breathtakingly beautiful. I think the entire world concept is fascinating. I love the concept of their powers and how the Devil's powers work. Maki is a fascinating antagonist and there are some panels that live rent free in my brain. It's just Chainsaw Man isn't the series for me, even though I really wish it was.
SSSS.DYNAZENON
I started watching this when it was first airing and I liked the vibe of random people being forced together due to a supernatural element. It's also done by the same company as KIZANAIVER and I enjoyed that series. However, some scenes or parts to the anime felt a little rushed. I feel if some parts were allowed to breathe I would have finished the series. Then again, this is a sort of sequel to SSSS.GRIDMAN? Maybe if I watched both series I'd have a different opinion?
Wonder Egg Priority
I cannot tell you how much it pains me to put this series on this list. I watched 9 to 10 episodes of the series. The first half? Immaculate. Amazing. Top tier animation, top tier story beats, and top tier characters. I love how the series tackles real problems girls have and even has a trans character! However, the last half took a "What the Hell" turn and I didn't finish the series because of that. Which is a shame.

I Have Some Concerns About Akiâs Arc
Okay let me clear: Aki has been nothing but excellent from the moment she was introduced. Sheâs my favourite character and just aspect of 5Ds so far. Sheâs a badass but sheâs also very emotionally damaged and repressed due to brainwashing and a dark past, that I inwardly theorised for a while couldâve been due to abuse. Sheâs honestly very relatable to me personally.
And thatâs why Iâm saying this now: the way Akiâs parents were handled is problematic to put it lightly. First off, her mother barely exists. Her mother might as well not exist: the narrative wouldâve been stronger if Aki had a single father, thus her only family/positive connection early in life who never had any time for her as a child and later in life unintentionally abused her. It wouldâve also been stronger if Akiâs father realised himself that it was his fault Aki turned out the way she did rather than his wife having to be the one to tell him.
(This moment really makes it feel like Akiâs father doesnât even fully think heâs to blame when the way Akiâs backstory is framed makes it abundantly clear Akiâs father is to blame for a lot of what happened to her psychologically.)
Second, and more importantly, Akiâs father abused her. It was clearly unintentional, the narrative makes that clear, but not all abuse is intentional. Some abusers believe that theyâre right to treat their victim the way they do and in some aspects, Akiâs father does believe heâs in the right. He believed he was right to fear his daughter even when she was a small child, he believed his job was more important than her (or at least his actions hammer in this point) and that he was right to never make any time for her, thus making Aki feel emotionally isolated from a young age. Akiâs father makes it clear he never meant to hurt her, and some of it wasnât even his fault like Aki assuming her parents were happier without her just from seeing them through the window and some of the times heâs legitimately too busy to spend time with her, but intent does not matter. Whether he meant to or not, he still abused her. He emotionally neglected her, he called her a monster, and treated her like one by further distancing himself from her.
And I havenât yet addressed the fact that he HITS her.
Sure we only know for sure it happened once and he regretted it but you canât say he did that by accident. You donât accidentally slap someone across the face, thatâs an intentional choice. He couldâve left the room if he was that pissed off. Thereâs no excuse for that moment.
Whether he meant to or not, Akiâs father was abusive and both the audience and the character himself know for a fact Aki internalised what he said and did to her:
I sound negative but so far all of this is actually really good writing. Besides Akiâs motherâs lack of involvement, this backstory perfectly explains how Aki ended up the way she did, and makes her even more sympathetic and relatable than she was before. What bothers me about this narrative is its resolution. As I discussed, Aki was abused by her father, and while her mother is never shown directly abusing her, she did nothing to stop it. Yeah, that could be due to the narrative being sexist but my point is this: Aki is justified in not wanting to be around her parents. Even if the abuser regrets their actions, the victim is in no way obligated to forgive them or even give them the time of day, much less let them back into their life.
So why the holy hell is the narrative not just pushing but forcing Aki to forgive her parents?! Itâs not just Akiâs father pleading Aki to forgive her, that would be one thing, but both Yusei and the narrative itself act like Aki needs to forgive her parents in order to heal:
(This phrasing in particular really gets under my skin. âIncorrect hatred?!â Sure, âhateâ might be a bit far but Aki has every right to be upset with them! THEY HURT HER. Itâs not your place to tell her that sheâs wrong for being upset!)
Also, before you comment, for the love of god do NOT say âbecause itâs Japanese culture! They believe in more traditional family values!â Traditions that hurt people have no place in modern society and need to GO. This is just wrong. And harmful. Not all abusers regret what theyâve done. Making amends isnât always possible, even in cases where there is regret, and it shouldnât be treated as the end all be all solution. Of course Iâm happy Aki was able to come to a place where she could forgive her parents but it never shouldâve been the point of her redemption. The point shouldâve been for her to move on from that resentment/trauma and not let it define her and that shouldnât require making amends, otherwise many of us would never move onâŠ
If the narrative wanted Aki and her parents to reconcile, it shouldâve come after this. They either shouldnât have been there or Aki shouldnât have been forced to forgive them the way she was. Thatâs a harmful thing to enforce.
For a quick example of this idea being done right (within Yugioh, and Iâm sorry to do this again if youâre getting sick of hearing me gush over how good GX is but this instantly came to mind), Judai wasnât forced or even expected to forgive Yubel, not by the narrative, not by any other characters, not even by Yubel themself. It was a choice Judai made all on his own. And it wasnât a last resort either. Judai was about to win the duel, as proven by this line:
Judai was about to win. He instead chose to activate Super Polymerization and fuse their souls. It was his choice to forgive Yubel and repair their relationship (that Judai was barely remembering existed) and the narrative treated it as such:
I know these are two very different relationships: Judai and Yubelâs being romantic and Aki and her parentsâ being familial, but you should never be required to make amends with someone, regardless of whether youâre related by blood. At the end of the day, blood ties donât automatically make a relationship meaningful or positive. If someone is hurting you, you have every right to cut them out of your life and never look back, and no one should ever tell you otherwise.
Iâll admit Akiâs narrative isnât the worst version of this Iâve seen. Her father feels legitimately regretful and actually worked to earn his daughterâs forgiveness.
(This moment is really powerful and did legitimately hit me in the feels)
Really, I have nothing against the fact that she forgave her parents in the end. That was her choice to make and her parents showed they were deserving of that forgiveness. My problem is that it felt like the narrative and Yusei, a character within that narrative who has absolutely nothing to do with this situation and shouldnât have a say in it whatsoever, were forcing her to that conclusion. Itâs something that prevented me from feeling the weight of the moments that actually did work, which sucks because with some tweaking, this couldâve easily been one of the most powerful arcs in all of Yugioh, and I know to some people it still is. I assure you Iâm not looking for reasons to dislike 5Ds. I desperately want to see it as the masterpiece others see it as, but with a storyline as intense and personally familiar as this, they needed to get it completely right or not try it at all. I canât accept only halfway with something like this.
Itâs honestly a shame is a shame because this story came so close to true greatness. I mean, just look at it:
Akiâs power being symbolized by these rose petals, something youâd normally think of as beautiful causing all this destruction and pain, her range of expressions as her mask of sadism slips off to show that sheâs truly just a scared child who only ever wanted acceptance, the dialogue feels very grounded and real and the way the actors deliver their lines really does sell it. I really did mean it when I said a simple rewrite couldâve fixed all my issues with this. It was so close to being something truly fantastic. Maybe the following episodes will change things but as of episode 41, Iâm disappointed.

i dont really kin? but iâd say i relate to kaworu (evangelion) angel devil, aki (csm) and hajime hinata, my mbti is either ISTJ or INTJ. iâm introverted, i consider myself a calm person and i donât get emotional often unless i get stressed out about something, i get overly supportive and amused by people especially my close friends. some people have said iâm an older brother figure to them and it makes me happy :) i myself have a younger brother, i love him even though i find him annoying sometimes (also i lack motivation for everything, really) my love language is gifting gifts and words of affirmation. my interest currently are reptiles (i have a snake!!!) and gacha games, though i wouldnt say i have a gacha addiction HAHA i enjoy crocheting, be it making clothing or objects, i think its very fun in general and i love giving them to loved ones!! i also like talking or just rambling. i hate bugs :( i always say that i dont care about them since theyre tiny but if i ever see one irl i can almost cry đđ i dislike when people just avoid others because of their star sign, but if its a joke its alright and i laugh at few of them. i love everyone if iâm being honest, but my favorite traits are :Â caring, listeners, stoic, understanding, just fluff potential :(( and hmm tall huggable people.
iâd like to cuddle in bed while doing work (online) together with my s/o or sitting in their lap while its golden hour!! i love comfortable silence. if not, ice cream dates while we listen to our fav artists by sharing headphones is fine too :) iâd like to be matched up with a male tokrev character. thank you and congrats on 500, its really great seeing your blog grow in a short amount of time!!đđ
500 milestone event (closed!!)
hello!! thank you for joining my event~~ aaa thank you so much huhu and you sound like such a sweet person đ„°đ„°
i match you with.. RYUGUJI KEN, DRAKEN
yesyes he matches your favourite traits huhu
very tall and huggable
he loves that youâre someone that he can relax around
because being the second in command in toman and having to take care of mikey is stressful for him
heâs a good listener (canon) and iâm sure heâll be more than happy to listen to you rambling
heâs your personal bug killer IWJEKSK
youâd give him tons of gifts and heâll keep them all
clothes youâve made for him heâd wear them too even if the guys tease him for it
he treasures all the gifts youâve made and given him
draken isnât the most affectionate but you can tell how much he loves you based on how caring and supportive he is towards you
âi donât wanna do thissssâ
you groaned out, slamming your face into the pillow on drakenâs bed. you currently have an online assignment to do but you really donât have the motivation to do it at the moment.
âcâmon, itâs due tomorrow isnât it?â
your boyfriend says, eyes glued to your figure laying face down on his bed. he has been staring at you trying to work for the past hour and the most youâve done was type a sentence.
âbut i donât wanna kenny.â
your voice muffled from the pillow below you. draken sighs, lifting you up and placing you on his lap, snuggling his face in the crook of your neck.
âweâll stay like this until youâre done, how does that sound?â
you lean back into your boyfriendâs embrace, enjoying the warmth and comfort radiating from him. you nodded, turning your head to the side to give a kiss to his temple. you place your laptop on your lap and started typing away, all while draken sneaks kisses to your neck or face periodically.
a small smile slowly creeps onto your face as the golden rays filtered through the blinds, illuminating his room in an orange hue. you can only imagine how pretty he looks right then.
it wasnât often for the two of you to be affectionate and when you do, it was the best feeling in the world. oh how draken loves being around you.

Leonidas is quite different Aki, especially since he is largely non-verbal, but loves reading and Aki is quite able to communicate verbally, but is still working on her literacy.
Is Leonidas non-verbal by choice? Or is there something which prevents him from speaking or makes him unable to do so?
Is his love of reading in any way linked to this? Perhaps because he finds, in the written word, a form of communication with no barriers?
What are his favourite things to read? Is he particularly interested in any particular topics?
hi!!! thank you one again for your interest in my children ;-; i get so excited every time i see you in my ask box <3
Leo is very opposite Aki in so so many ways. I was creating Aki and i thought âhrm. but what ifâŠâ far too many times basically! Aki has no control over her emotions, whereas Leonidas has incredible control due to his extra strength (and weakness!)
Leo was a burn victim. He was protected somehow, and that came with a price. Fires seem to become so much worse when he is around unless he can keep himself in perfect check, and he himself will even start sparking and creating fires. Spells gone wrong are⊠never great. Especially when the spell was aimed to kill him. But anyway! This led to a couple forest fires⊠oops. But the initial fire was incredibly traumatic, and he found himself struggling to speak after it. Especially where he no longer had anyone to speak to, he had no reason to speak much, so he lost his voice. He can speak if he really, really tries to, but his voice is scratchy and it sounds (and is) painful.
He prefers the written word because it feels more reliable. When he can sit down and write, he feels as though he can think things through better than if he were to try to sign it to someone, and assumes everyone else feels the same way. Good or bad, heâs more likely to believe a book over a person.
It doesnât hurt that books donât actively want to hurt him, too. Well⊠most. (shivers in Great Gubal Library)
He likes reading stories of real people! He loves finding old journals or biographies. He feels that experience is the best way to learn, so he loves when he can find the story of someone who was interested in the same things as him! He can learn through their process and hopefully not make the same mistakes they did.
#v time bb#leonidas corvell#leo tag#my boy!!!!!!!#hes my newest blorbo#so iâm still figuring a lot out#but heâs been so fun to think about!!!!!#thank you again mimble#you have no idea how much this makes my day seeing that someone like#goes so far out of their way to take an interest in my characters?#i hope i can repay your kindness!!!!

Whatâs your favourite flavour of soda, pop or whatever else you call it? No favorites, I donât drink soda.
What level of brightness do you usually keep your phone at? Itâs always at the brightest possible setting. It drives my sister absolutely insane and she likes to call me a boomer because of it hahaha.
Have you ever attended a religious or private school? I attended a school that ticks both these boxes for 14 years. All-girls, Catholic, private â that was a treat for my atheist, liberal, LGBT+ self lol.
Do you have any pets and are they cuddly? I have three dogs. The cuddliest one I would say is Aki, but he only becomes so when itâs nighttime and is able to behave next to me in bed. Cooper is pretty much restless 24/7 unless heâs in his pen; and while Kimi is more reserved than the two, he never was the cuddly type either and prefers to keep to himself.
Whatâs the worst job youâve ever had? Iâve only had one job so far, but itâs nowhere near being the worst.
How many cars does your household own? We have two. We used to have three but we had to let one go during the pandemic.
Do you know anyone named Edward or any nickname of that? There are some mutual friends with that name. I also had a granduncle named Eduardo, but he passed away a year ago due to COVID.
What time do you usually have dinner? Around 7 or 7:30 in the evening.
Are there any cracks or scuffs on your phone? No. Itâs fairly new but also the first phone I bought with my own money so Iâm 600% careful with it lololol.
Whatâs your favourite meat? Beef or crab.
Do you need glasses to read or drive or need them all the time? I wear glasses because I'm nearsighted. < Hey, same. I say it all the time but Iâm really nothing without my glasses haha.
How did you celebrate your last New Years Eve? I honestly canât even remember. I think I just stayed home but I did spend time with family in the evening while we waited for midnight to welcome the new year.
Is the internet fast where you live? Itâs fast for me, but Iâve heard more than once that the Philippines actually sucks when it comes to internet speed lol so itâs just somehing Iâve been used to, thatâs why I think itâs fast.
What is your favourite meal of the day and why? Dinner, just because I skip breakfast and lunch all the time. I also tend to eat out in the evening more often.
Do you like long surveys or short surveys better? Medium ones are generally the best, though sometimes what Iâll do is take several short ones in one sitting and post them in one entry.
Xbox, PlayStation or neither? I live in a Playstation household, always have. We had the PS1 and PS2 in the duplex I lived in growing up, and currently we have the PS3 and PS4 in the living room. No PS5 yet.
Have you ever been to a cocktail bar? Yes.
Do you consider yourself a fast typer? Sure. Itâs also kind of necessary in my work so you learn to be fast as time goes by.
Whatâs the best amusement park youâve ever visited? Universal Studios in Singapore, so far.
Do you keep the cabinets in your kitchen and bathroom organized? Yeah. My mom hates mess on any level so everything is constantly neat.
Have you ever had a romantic fling? Nope.
Are you a very forgetful person? I can be, but for the most part my memory stays razor sharp.
What was the last movie you saw in the cinema? Knives Out in 2019.
How old were you when you got your first car? 17.
What colour is your shampoo? The bottle is white, if thatâs what youâre asking.
Are you doing anything tomorrow? Nothing much apart from taking Aki to the vet, going to mass, and seeing my grandma and cousins at their place.
Do you know anyone whoâs gotten pregnant over the age of 40? Yeah, I have a few classmates and friends whose mom had already been older than 40 when they had them.
Tell me a silly little wives' tale you believed when you were a child. That I couldnât sleep if my hair was still wet.
Who does most of the grocery shopping in your home? Mom.
Have you ever been approached by someone in public preaching about religion? No, thank goodness. There were people like that who would loiter in my campus, but I was never approached by one of them.
Are you listening to music right now? If so, whatâs the theme of the lyrics. Nah, Iâm listening to a Run BTS episode in the background.
What was the last thing you had to eat? Fried eggplant with some rice.

AnS Fic Rec Bingo
A fic that got you involved in fandom: Drink Deep of Lethe by @sabraealâ | T In short: it has everything I love about early Shirayuki, early Obi, and early Obiyuki. Two people, both on the run, meeting in the deep Wood and converging paths by pure chance. Itâs such a fun read!! I first read this on Obiyuki Week 2016 and was just so inspired that I was like âman, I really want to write something for this event tooâ :D So that is how it got me involved in the fandom.
Made you laugh out loud: I Shouldâve Met You Yesterday by @bubblesthemonsterartist | E First of all, I eat âObi gets a support system kicking and screamingâ with a spoon. Second, and more specific to this bingo square, bb Aki is an agent of love and chaos and Obi has absolutely 0 game when it comes to Shirayuki. And itâs the cutest and funniest story!!! Things that made me laugh include: the entire chapter Obi and Aki meet Zen and Mitsuhide, âHere lies what was left of Obiâs gameâ scene, and Aki trying to get dada to kiss Shirayukiâs booboo, AND MUCH MORE.
Favourite trope reversal: An Earthly Knight by @claudeng80 | T I find fae stories really intriguing and interesting even though (or maybe even because) I know like, the bare minimum of background info. Like theyâre just so cool and fun. ANYWAY, I loveddddd how even though Obi is Shirayukiâs guard, this fic is her trying to rescue him in a way only she can - with DETERMINATION and IMMENSE BRAVERY <3 A beautiful story.
Action-packed fight scene: The Moon, the Window, the Knife by @glitter-and-golden | G Over 2000 words and my breath was held the entire time. A super cool fic about Wistal castle being attacked by NINJAS which also means OBI BADASSERY :âD But also itâs not Obi if he doesnât get hurt in the process and him and Shirayuki protecting each other, because we love that food. Delicious. 5 stars.
Gen fic: Itâs a Difficult Conversation by @nebluus | T A DIFFICULT CONVERSATION IT WAS INDEED. For Ryuu, being barely a teen who has people he really looks up to, seeing those people hurt is rough. And for a healer, not being able to help them in the way he knows best is DOUBLEY ROUGH. But I just love that Shirayuki sits with him and explains this very hard stuff about trauma in the most compassionate and understanding way.
Canon divergent: i am become death by @bubblesthemonsterartist | M So in 2017 Bubbles and ISM decided to have an angst battle and the rest of us took a ton of collateral damage to the emotions like NYC at the end of an Avengers movie. In answering the question âwhat if Obi didnât find Shirayuki in time during Tanbarun arc?â, Bubbles weaves this piece of Absolute Art and itâs just...amazing. Horrifies me in the best of ways.
Wept real tears: Nothing Was My Own (Before I Loved You) by @sabraeal | T Specifically, Making Good made me cry real tears. We love a good slow burn, especially that moment where one of them realises theyâre in love with the other and just HOW important they are in their life. Itâs beautiful and moving!! And also has fluffy AND funny Obiyuki moments that make me squeal. But also the entire WFB series is an AMAZING fic of everybodyâs journey thru college and young adult lives and I think about it all the time.
FREE SPACE: The Most Versatile of Guards by @claudeng80â | T A favourite of mine!!!!! :DD So many fun and cool adventure times with herbwitch!Shirayuki and shapeshifter!Obi and I loveddd the Mihaya interludes. The entire world is just so creative and seeing all the characters as different beings is so much fun. And their romance makes me SQUEEEEEEE.
Fav fanmade OC: I gotta give this one to Aki from I Shouldâve Met You Yesterday. Number one precious bb with the MOST personality and heâs so much fun to read.
First AnS fic you read: The Automation Heart by @infinitelystrangemachinex | T The first chapter ALREADY had me wrecked. In general AND for this ship. I am also due for a reread. But I remember reading all the chapters that were published then in a single night just being like âoh my god this is so good. MOAR PLSâ *clicks next chapter*
Favourite minor character: Garack Gazelt, particularly in The road to Clarines is gravel (M) by @codangoâ, (donât go) making something out of nothing (T) by @sabraeal, and Dead Men Tell No Tales by @bubblesthemonsterartist (T) (the last which I need to go into the AO3 comments and yell about because OHHHH MY GOD). I always love seeing her. Sheâs badass and smart and amazing and every time I see her I go *heart eyes*
WIP: Damned by @ruleofexceptionâ | No rating ZOMBIES ARE SCARY BUT YOU KNOW WHATâS ALSO SCARY??? BEING ALONE. AND HAVING YOUR FREEDOM TAKEN AWAY. But no really I love sooo many things about this fic, like the wonderful Found Family, tragic backstories and some amazing story arcs. I look forward to every time this updates.
Canon compliant: Knots by @krispy-kream | G ABSOLUTE FANDOM CLASSIC 10/10. I just love how it all starts as a game for him. Because why take it seriously when he canât have her for real? AND THEN HE GOES OH SHIT, OH FUCK IâM IN TOO DEEP. And things just unfold wonderfully from there!!!!! Like itâs such a classic âObi is wrecked and he is slowly losing it with how much he likes his Missâ.
One-shot: Life Eternal by @ruleofexceptionâ | No rating Devil!Obi and Angel!Shirayuki is just...THE MOST WONDERFUL OF CONCEPTS. And not only are they on opposite sides, working against each other to either make peopleâs lives better or worse, she becomes a literal devilâs GUARDIAN ANGEL. And that makes way for such an interesting story and I love its open end <3 It was a really fun fic!!
Rare pair: Cookies for Shikito (Shirayuki x Shikito) by @claudeng80â | G PLS THIS FIC IS SO FLUFFY <3 <3 <3 Theyâre such a cute ship. Just two absolute cinnamon buns spending time together while Shirayuki makes cookies and Shikito PROTECCS. Theyâre so fluttery and adorable!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!
AU you took a chance on and now love: Sic Semper Monstrum by @sabraealâ | T I simply do not know many Things, including common source materials for AUs. Including Pacific Rim, which I still havenât watched (but need to, PROBABLY) but I. LOVE. THIS. AU. The importance that is placed on intimacy and emotional connection with the entire concept of drifting and also just like, life in general??? I thoroughly enjoy (as always) the exploration of everyoneâs thoughts and backstories and relationships and also psychologist!Shirayuki <3
Pre-canon: ashes in the mouth, char the tongue by @infinitelystrangemachinex | T Both a pre-canon (childhood friends) and future fic!! The summary explains it better than I could:Â âObi finally takes Shirayuki back to Tanbarun, but she gets more than she bargained for.â This fic ruined me (in a good way) and kicked my heart out of my chest and it rolled into a gutter (in a good way) and I almost missed my tram stop the first time I read it because I was so wrapped up in it. It was a RIDE.

denji x reader pt. 1, proofread and brainrot (/hj) version
author's note: nothing went according to plan lmao. anyway i got home safely and here is the proofread version, idk yet if i'll delete the first part but it's most likely to. anway enjoy âš
author's note 2: i should've specified this in the first vers. but this will be a f!reader. i'll try w male!/ enby reader next but it won't be as good as this one
author's note 3 (last one i promise): i'm currently watching a friend playing ultrakill and WHAT THE FUCK THE GAME IS SO HARD like he's been fighting gabriel for like 30 minutes and still hasn't defeated him like đ also the way he says "foolishness, machine, foolishness" fr makes me feel some kind of way..
POV: y/n
it was a peaceful afternoon of summer and you were waiting for your sister's call to pick her up at the airport. you remembered the last call she gave you and, even though she didn't show it,you could feel that she missed you.
before you decided headed to the airport, you decided to buy some groceries, so that you could welcome her well.
you came back home with some yakisoba, some raspberries and some strawberry flavored rice alcohol, as you knew it was makima's all time favourite.
as the exact moment you started cooking, your phone rang.
-be patient, denji-kun, she's on her way, i said with a smile.
power sighed loudly as a way of saying "why can't she come faster?" ,while angel and aki remained silent.
i headed to the closest shop to get denji, power and angel ice cream.
i swear to god they can be so childhish sometimes i said to myself.
my phone vibrated. it was a text from y/n.
sup bitch, i'm close to the building b. hurry tf up i'm too broke to pay the parking. c'ya <3
i couldn't help but smile at my phone. even though we didn't meet much due to our jobs,we always loved seeing each other.
-oiii, who's text are you smiling at? both denji and power asked.
-it was y/n, she said she's under the building b. come on kids, let's go!
we all headed to where my sister was, happy as we could be with our almost melting ice creams. y/n also got herself a strawberry one. seeing she remembered was heartwarming since it was the kind of ice cream we used to have when we were kids.
POV: y/n
-HEYYYY BIG SIIIISSS HOW ARE YOU??? I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!! you yell as you run to hug her. hold on. who are these people? you didn't tell me you weren't alone.
-the name's denji!! he cheerfully claimed.
-i'm power! nice to meet ya!!
-my name is aki hayakawa. nice to meet you and thank you for the ride.
-AYO I LOVE THIS SONG yelled denji, TURN THAT SHIT UP
we all swayed to the music on the way home, and it made me feel a little better to see that i wasn't as alone as i thought i was.
as soon as we got home, while i was preparing yakisoba for the rest of the group, makima joined me in the kitchen and asked me:
-i booked four hotel rooms, do you mind having denji staying here?
at first,i wasn't comfortable with sharing my appartment with someone i barely knew, but afterthought i was like "hey why not that's a good way to get to know someone"
-no problem! i said with a smile. that'd be a great opportunity to get to know each other!!
this is how i be looking lmao
anyway thanks for reading :D <3 i hope you have an amazing day (or whatever time of the day it is for you) stay hydrated and take care, ily! /g /p
(i'll start writing the second part today,, stay tuned!)
