SOOOO we finished reading this religious story by Tolstoy where basically the main character becomes a monk for reasons and struggles with his restricting beliefs and is constantly hit with choices that tests his beliefs etc (the man wasnt allowed to even look at a woman or that would be sin lmaoooo) anyways the lewser old ahh prof asked what we thought abt this story and i said the following IN RUSSIAN BTW

i think that the author is showcasing us how in order to be religious, you have to devote your all into that belief but at the same time, i think the author is also demonstrating how your beliefs can sometimes be restricting against human nature (being horny is a human emotion SURPRISE!!!!!!!) AND THE WHOLE ASS CLASS DEADASS DISAGREED WITH ME HELPFSOJFHSJKHF
