a comic I been working on for the past week
It’s an au where everybody has a superpower and it’s their choice to use it for the greater good or for evil, basically a superhero au
I have already wrote the script for the origin but I’m not sure if I should continue it?

for my return to duckblr may i offer my bootleg team magic (which doesnt include umbra/magica but shes here too)
team science here
umbra de mancy / magica = basically the same character / fills the same role as in dt17. wanted her to have an Evil Magical Girl look to spite lena's sorceress outfit.
luna de mancy / lena = also mostly the same character. wanted to lean more into what punk style she already had. i love her arc in dt17, but here she reclaims her shadow magic + never has to reconnect with umbra ever. both she and umbra are ruddy ducks
sunny vanderduck / webby = shares an arc with cherry(huey), and while she still has the same role of having luna realize she deserves to have a good life and isn't a bad person, luna helps her realize that valerie(beakley) isn't the best guardian either...
twilight costa / violet = meets luna + sunny earlier on. outwardly she's mostly the same, but she struggles with feeling connected with other communities. american culture and her heritage, being too weird to one of the smart kids, and too smart to be one of the weird kids, being outcased from the rest of the [junior woodchucks]. but once she finds her place with luna, sunny, and cherry, she opens up her silly side more :)
oliver oca / gladstone: despite getting people to be around him with his luck, he knew he was still alone. never really seeing a point in trying to do things, when he knew his luck would handle it for him. his passivity worsens after the casino, where his efforts didn't help him get out. luckily, someone is looking to fix him... (post-development design. spoilers! he loses his luck. mainly connected to the rest of team magic through umbra, luna, and Rorschach Specter]

Team Magic magical misunderstanding AU, where-
What if the amulet hadn’t been blasted onto the beach at the end of the shadow war though. What if it’d fallen at Scrooges feet again, like it did on Vesuvius, but this time he locks it up in the other bin.
What if Webby still went to the library looking for clues about shadow magic only this time it was a fake Webby (nervous huey in disguise, luckily you’re not supposed to talk much at a library) meanwhile Louie was causing havoc at the manor so Webby and Dewy could try breaking into the other bin’s new security-
Webby wont STEAL the amulet she PROMISES she just wants to LOOK AT IT FOR CLUES-
she swaps it for a fake behind Dewy’s back as they leave.
(Bad enough if they ever get blamed for helping her into the other bin, she’s not going to get them mixed up in the dark and very forbidden magic she’s planning next.)
(she's not losing anyone else the way she lost-)
What if Violet didn’t find the amulet on the beach that day, what if she’d gone down there (again) to clean up beach litter (for a junior woodchuck badge) mostly in the form of empty bottles with messages stuffed inside of them (as usual)
but now she’s more interested in reading the newest anonymous notes (LENA'S notes...)
which have shifted from clearly fictitious pleas for help from stranded sailors, to what seems to be a series of personal entries written on pages ripped from someone’s diary,
they chronical a growing friendship undercut by a secret betrayal that is causing the writer much well-written and fascinating angst,
and Violet has been compiling into a scrap book
(Webby took Lena’s diary from the amphitheater, and she opens it sometimes to thumb sadly though the ripped out pages right after they met, wondering aloud what Lena might have written about her)
(trapped in Webby's shadow, knowing she won't hear, Lena tells her)
On the night of the shadow war Violet finds several message bottles all with hastily and poorly penned single words in them, such as “ECLipSE” “MAgIC” “TRAITOR”
and she’s puzzling over them when what appears to be literal shadowy hell breaks out over The Money Bin of Scrooge McDuck
Not everything is darkness though. Chased towards the sea while trying to escape malevolent semi-corporeal shadows, Violet falls in the surf, only to see something blue glowing just below the water
The object flashes when she picks it up and the shadows draw back. A moment later the light intensifies for one bright moment- causing the shadows to flee completely- as behind Violet there’s twin flash of blue light from the money bin- before going completely dark.
Magic is apparently real and capable of protection as well as evil shadow summoning.
It also comes in the form of a clearly homemade bracelet.
Violet puts it on and begins to investigate.
Later, unheard and unseen the endless night of the shadow realm, Lena is clutching her face and shrieking whenever Webby pulls out Magica’s amulet.
Her wild tries to grab the thing and throw it as far away from Webby as possible only activate it, though, and make Webby more determined to figure out how to use it.
If it banished Lena (ONLY banished, because she can't really be-) then it can bring her back, right?
Webby quickly (unfortunately) realizes that anger is the key to Magica’s powers, and Lena can only watch as Webby digs deeper and deeper into painful memories and thoughts, trying to summon more and more anger, determined to master the magic she thinks could bring Lena back.
(not like this. if getting out of the shadow realm comes at the cost of Webby yelling at herself for not noticing the signs of Lena’s situation sooner and BLAMING herself for it, then Lena doesn’t want to be saved)
(not that it matters, since Webby can’t hear her anyway)
Huey is still going to the library as Webby, now covering for her alone time fixing up Lena’s old hide out
(a healthy step in the grieving process, according the guide book) (Webby is using the amphitheater to practice magic unseen)
What if, while researching at the library this time, Violet meets a Webbigail Vanderquack who is plainly a fake.
What if Huey-as-Webby looks down and sees Lena’s friendship bracelet on the wrist of a girl reading up about shadow magic, and runs to Webby in a panic.
What if Webby (keyed into anger thanks to all her magic practice) jumps straight to luring in and attacking Violet, who is clearly Magica De Spell in disguise again,
and what if Violet, unaware that the treachery warned of in the notes has already happened, sees a fake Webbigail wielding the amulet of Magica De Spell and decides her duty as a junior woodchuck is to take action against this plot-
What if Webby unleashes Magica’s magic on Violet, only for Violet to chant a little rhyme...
and block the blast with Lena’s own friendship bracelet.
What if, as Webby stares in shock (then anger, then fury), Violet reveals she has unlocked the magic of the bracelet she found, and the key is in reading out passages and poems from the torn diary pages- specifically those parts that talk about the writer’s friendship with the girl she is about to betray.
What if hearing Violet recite Lena’s words makes it harder and harder for Webby to hold on the anger she needs to fight with Magica’s magic, making her attacks faulter even as Violet’s shields grow in strength.
Webby, frustrated, goes for a tackle. Violet dodges, sees Webby’s matching bracelet and (a quick study) revaluates the situation,
she realizes she is in fact fighting the girl that the author of the diary had been writing about this entire time.
What if Webby summons one last burst of rage to try taking out Magica-in-disguise (who is not Magica, actually, or in disguise) and finally yells the thing that’s been eating her all this time-
Lena only got to know her because of Magica’s plot- she never would have bothered with Webby otherwise- she’s cool and smart and been to Paris- and there was never any way for them to be friends WITHOUT Lena getting hurt
In answer to this, Violet calmly reads a note from the first bottle she ever found on the beach.
“Beagle B-Day. Met cool weirdo & finally having fun. Taking the day OFF. Get rekt aunt M!”
Webby’s anger breaks.
Magica’s magic fades out.
And Webby’s friendship bracelet lights up for the very first time since the shadow war.
“It is my opinion,” Violet says cautiously. “That regardless of what your fears might say, the person who wrote this has always been your friend.”
Webby is crying.
Lena, unfelt, wraps her arms around Webby and glares at Magica’s dropped amulet.
“It is also my opinion that the ectoplasmic activity exhibited by the ‘friendship bracelets’ you both wore is a positive sign that she still exists in some form or another, along with the magical bond between you two.”
"W-what?" Webby sniffles.
"Your theory was correct. She is not gone." Kneeling down, Violet pats Webby on the shoulder. “And using that bond, I intend to help you get her back.”
In the shadow realm, Lena’s beak drops open.
“Really...?” Webby whispers, then frowns suspiciously. “Why?”
(magica had used lena and thrown her away like she was nothing- had SAID she was nothing- and magica hadn't needed her magic for that. if she was using someone again, using lena again as bait...)
but Violet isn't even looking at the amulet.
“I have difficulties in developing interpersonal relationships with non-familial partners.”
Violet admits, holds up her scrap book of Lena’s notes.
“Reading these entries is the closest I have come to replicating the experience of having a friendship with someone other than my fathers, specifically someone within my own peer group. I sympathized with the author’s struggles to recognize and accept her own feelings… In fact, I believe those feelings of camaraderie are the true reason as to why I was able to access the bracelet’s magical powers. The quotes and recitations were merely a memory aid, used to trigger the required emotions of fondness, trust, shared pain, and admiration.”
Shadow Lena turns to Webby. What.
Webby is tearing up again. “You don’t have any friends? And, reading Lena’s diary made you feel less lonely, like maybe she was your friend?”
Ohhh. Shadow Lena looks back at Violet. Oh…
Violet tilts her head. “Who is Lena?”
“The girl who wrote all those messages." Webby is hugging her bracelet to her chest now. "...My best friend.”
“Ah." Looking down at her own bracelet, Lena's bracelet, Violet nods. "Then yes.”
Both bracelets start to glow again softly.
Nether of the girls notice Webby’s shadow stretching out on the ground behind them as it merges silently with Violet’s.
“Or to be more precise," Violet continues, "I feel as though I would like to be friends with her, if possible. And with you.”
“Okay,” Webby scrubs her face dry and smiles for the first time all episode. “..okay. You’ve got your very first non-family friend. One down, one to go! Let’s do this-! Um… what was your name again?”
“Violet Apollonia Sabrewing.”
“Violet! Hi, I’m Webby!”
“Yes, Lena’s diary did mention your name a time or fifty.”
Shadow realm Lena glowers, face pink. It's not like I had anything better to write about! Complaining about being enslaved by my evil aunt gets OLD, okay??
Oblivious, Webby front-flips to her feet and snatches Magica's amulet and holds it aloft.
“Now that we BOTH have a friend to do forbidden stuff with, anything’s possible! Let’s get magical!”
“At the library?”
“AT THE LIBRARY!!!”
Oh great, Lena groans from their shadows, more magic. And now there’s TWO of them.
As boring as nerd stuff is though, she still sits with them in the shadow version of the library anyway, hanging out with her friends who don’t even know she is there.
Not yet, anyway.
And so, in another world, Team Magic is formed.

How Friendship Hates Magic would go in my “HDLW grow up with their Duck Cousins counterparts” AU (It is recommended that you read What Ever Happened to Della Duck (link to post), The Golden Spear (link to post), and Nothing Can Stop Della Duck (link to post) first for the Webby introductions because she is in this one):
The episode starts with Dewey taking Webby to the library •  When discussing their lives the Shadow Wars (Part 1, Part 2) were brought up and Dewey told her about Lena and how she had become a shadow and he showed her the books he had gotten to research ways to bring her back •  Webby asked if she could help him and he immediately agreed because he rarely gets to spend time with kids his age
Neither of them notices that Dewey’s shadow seems to have glowing eyes on occasion
Lena follows them around, boredly narrating Dewey’s routine although clearly bothered by the fact that Webby’s there now •  She makes several vague threats of what will happen if Webby is lying about who she is and where she’s been and tries to hurt Dewey since they were practically like brother and sister before she got banished to the shadow realm, but of course neither of the younger ducks can hear her •  Important Note: Lena and Dewey are 1000000% platonic in this, they see each other more as siblings. Any jealousy Lena shows towards Webby and Violet in this is purely because she doesn’t want them taking her place as Dewey’s best friend. He was her first friend and the first person to show her that how Magica treated her was wrong so she’s a bit possessive. Same reason for why she’s possessive of Webby in the show (although I know some people view them as romantic which is why I’m making it clear that here she and Dewey are platonic)
They go to ask for the book, finding Quackfaster working there, and Lena attempts to convince herself Dewey that she’ll be fine in the shadow realm
Quackfaster says they can’t have the book since someone else has already checked it out and points them to a purple hummingbird sitting at a nearby desk
Webby, without hesitation, goes to try and introduce herself only to be stopped by the girl putting up her hand, finishing her page, and finally putting the book down to see what Webby wants
She points out that the book is written in Ancient Syriac and might be a little advanced
To which the girl responds with “So am I,” in perfect Ancient Syriac
Dewey gasps and runs over and, in Ancient Syriac says, “You speak Ancient Syriac? Me, too! Along with Conversational Akkadian.” •  Scrooge and Beakley had several old language books laying around and Dewey was barely allowed out of the manor for the first ten years of his life so he had a lot of time to pick up the languages •  Although, his speech is slightly less coherent that Webby’s is in the show
The girl confirms she knows it and pulls out some old Norse and Dewey responds in kind
Webby jumps in with, “I know some Moon Landrian!” and gets some confused looks before the other girl just nods, and stands to introduce herself to Dewey and Webby •  I don’t know if the Moon Landers have a language in the show or what it’s called so I’ve decided they do and it’s Moon Landrian
Violet instantly recognizes Dewey as Turbo Dewford Duck of McDuck Manor, trusted companion in many of Scrooge McDuck’s adventures and his great nephew to boot
Dewey instantly confirms and asks if she’s a fan before remembering Webby and introducing her as, “Webbigail Vanderquack of McDuck Manor, trusted companion of his mother Della Duck while on the moon.
”Webby tacks on “Granddaughter of the Housekeeper.” at the end
Lena is immediately suspicious and wants to just grab the book and go, and is only made more suspicious when Violet starts asking about Dewey’s experiences with the supernatural
Lena is especially not happy when they end up planning a sleepover
Beakley is glad for a quiet night in with her tea when Webby and Dewey come bouncing into the dining room to tell her all about their sleepover
She’s happy that Dewey is getting back onto the friendship horse and that both of them are making more friends outside of each other
She’s especially impressed given how Dewey’s previous sleepovers have ended in magic fights
Dewey start to get nervous and Lena hopes that he’ll reconsider and cancel the sleepover with Violet, but Webby says that those sound awesome but she’s sure it will totally be fine this time and they’ll just make sure it’s a completely normal sleepover
She then immediately asks what a normal sleepover entails leading to Dewey panicking and deciding that they need to hide anything mystical, cursed, or adventurous
Beakley assures them that they should just be themselves, and Dewey says that unlike her they need friends •  This leads to the Beakley and Launchpad subplot that I’m not going to cover since it’s essentially the same and also it’s been half an hour since I started and I’m barely five minutes into the episode
Webby and Dewey finished hiding anything strange in Dewey’s room in the attic when they hear the doorbell and rush to get it before Ducksworth because, Ghost Butler
They invite Violet in and Webby is very interested in the pie (she grew up on black licorice gum), Lena however thinks Violet is up to something
When they get to Dewey’s, very empty, room Violet tells them about Tulpas •  “Manifestations of powerful emotions–hatred, jealousy, greed. They live in a dark realm adjacent to our reality.”
She explains that it’s the best explanation she has for what happened during the Shadow War
Dewey quickly interrupts and suggests they play Baggle
Violet points out that she’s here to review the book and Webby points out that they have plenty of time for books and they should play a game or do icebreakers since it’s a sleepover
Violet agrees and instantly asks what they know about Magica DeSpell and the Shadow War
Lena takes Violet asking about Magica as proof she can’t be trusted, but Dewey suggests makeovers to change the subject
Violet points out his weird behavior when it comes to the supernatural and Dewey grabs both of their hands and says that they have sparkles which gets Webby excited enough to help pull Violet along with them for the makeovers
When they leave Lena finds Magica’s amulet in Violets bag and runs to warn Dewey
She finds the three of them doing special effects makeup •  Violet and Webby have their Rakshasa and beaten up looks from the show, Dewey has a sort of zombie thing going on (I honestly don’t know so if anyone else has any ideas for his look let me know)
Violet says she thinks her fangs are off-kilter and Dewey says it’s because he has a crooked fang from a poker brawl and he has proof before realizing he said to much
Violet asks where and Webby panics and says “definitely not in the attic” •  Unfortunately Lena starts to wonder if Webby meant to say that and is actually working with Violet because why would she share her secrets
Violet runs off towards the attic and Dewey and Webby follow with Lena protesting that it’s a trap
Webby asks if Violet is weirded out by all the magical stuff but Violet says it’s fascinating and that she thinks there’s an ectoplasmic aura coming from Dewey’s friendship bracelet
Lena sees Violet touching it and runs over to try and push her hand away but of course she just falls right through them
Dewey quickly assures her that it’s nothing and takes the bracelet off and hides it in his pocket
Violet, Webby, and Dewey decide to play Rune-Baggle and Lena decides to try to use the runes to communicate with Dewey
After Violet repeats an incantation causing the runes to glow Lena attempts to hit them across the room and is shocked to find that it works
Dewey suggests it was nothing but the runes start to move as Lena arranges them
Violet tries to read the runes but Dewey isn’t as quick to jump to that, only moving to translate when Webby asks him about certain parts
Lena is very frustrated and starts thinking that Violet and Webby are either intentionally trying to distract Dewey from the obvious “Don’t Trust Her” message or they’re just giants nerds
Violet has the three of them kneel and hold hands which only makes Lena more upset
However Lena is quickly distracted by spirits beginning to form
She grabs a sheet and tries to use that to communicate but they can’t hear her and assume that she’s an evil spirit summoned by them
Violet tries to attack but is thrown off and into her bag, knocking the amulet free while Lena tries to get Dewey to see what's happening
Violet shoots magic at Lena and reveals her for just long enough for her to call out Dewey’s name
He sees Violet with the amulet  and tackles her to demand to know where she got it
Violet explains how she found it during the Shadow War and how it sparked an interest in the supernatural
She’s asks if they’ve ever felt sheltered when there was something just out of reach and Dewey and Webby each think back to their lonely childhoods spent listening to the stories of the incredible feats that their guardians did before they were born
Lena isn’t happy that Dewey is buying Violet’s spiel but Dewey just tells her not to mess with the amulet since he’s already lost one friend to the Shadow Realm
Webby puts a hand on his shoulder in an effort to comfort and Lena puts one on the hand holding the amulet
Violet suggests that they might be able to bring Lena back using Magica’s amulet
Dewey and Webby agree to try it after a quick shared glance
The trio set up candles for the ritual and sit in the middle of them holding hands with the amulet between them
Lena tries to tell Dewey that Violet’s using him, and she should know, but the amulet starts to levitate and flies into her chest as more spirits form and take the shape of Magica, taunting her
The spirits surround the trio and Lena panics and grabs their joined hands in an attempt to warn Dewey that it’s a trap
The three are pulled into the Shadow Realm and Dewey tackles Lena into a hug when he sees her
Unfortunately Violet and Webby have to break up the reunion on account of all the Tulpas in the form of Magica drawing nearer
Dewey pulls away to try to introduce Lena to the other two but Lena interrupts and accuses them both of being spies and thieves and trying to replace her while the Tulpas surround them
Lena tells Violet and Webby to get away from Dewey only for the Tulpas to take Lena’s form and drag Dewey away from them
Lena, Violet, and Webby run after them and Lena blames Violet, saying that if she hadn’t meddled with magic Dewey would still be safe
Violet points out that the Tulpas are manifestations of great desire to which Lena says it’s Violet’s desire for magical power
Violet shoots back that it could be Lena’s desire not to be forgotten by Dewey and that the Tulpas took Lena’s form
A Tulpa attacks them and Violet says that they’re manifestations of Lena’s jealousy and want to keep Dewey with her
Lena admits that might be the case but tries to keep arguing only for Webby to interject with the fact that even if they have nothing in common they do all care about Dewey, just as he calls for help
Lena and Violet call a truce to chase after him with Webby
The Tulpas try to take him out the door and Violets says that if he leaves the manor they might never get him back
Lena says not on her watch and grabs Violet and Webby’s hands
She begins an incantation:                     “With the hands of my friend’s friends,                      We bring bitter jealousy to its ends.”
The amulet seems to glow in Lena’s chest and Violet and Webby join in and the three walk towards Dewey and the Tulpas as the Shadow Realm seems to fade into the normal world behind them
Dewey’s bracelet starts to glow in his pocket and causes the Shadow Realm to dissipate behind him as well
As the realm fades away it starts to take Lena with it
Dewey starts to tear up and Lena grabs his hand
He reaches out to Violet and Webby and the four join hands and are surrounded by a blue glow as the bracelet rises from Dewey’s pocket and circles them, creating blue smoke clouds
When the smoke dissipates Lena is standing there, back in her normal form and Dewey pulls them all into a group hug
The four return to their sleepover as Lena explains where she’s been
Dewey says that he’s got his old best friend and his new best friends, Webby says they’ve got pie •  The poor girl grew up on black licorice gum she deserves to get excited over pie. And yes, I know I’m the reason she grew up on it, shut up.
I spent nearly two hours on this Jesus Christ. So, the first post I ever made for this AU was made August 1st, 2020, so nearly three years ago. And the post I made for how The House of the Lucky Gander went (link to post) was made August 12th, 2020, so also nearly three years ago and I’ve left them on a cliffhanger for that whole time, but now I only have to get through What Ever Happened to Donald Duck before I can finally do [REDACTED] and I am very excited for both of those things so I am going to try to get there before August 12th this year so you all can finally learn what happened to Louie and Gladstone. I’d also like to do Doomsday Vault sometime since that episode would be extremely different since I left Della on the moon. I am genuinely sorry that it’s taken this long to get here, but as I’ve stated in a previous post the “how __________ would go in my HDLW grow up with their Duck Cousins counterparts AU would go” post take insanely long and a lot of energy because I watch the whole episode and pause for bullet points so that I don’t miss anything. Also, if you are someone who sent me an ask god knows how long ago, I’ve seen it, I know it’s there, I just didn’t have the energy to answer it when I got it and by the time that I did have the energy I had forgotten about them. Hopefully I’ll be able to go through and answer as many asks as I can. And if anyone wants to send me one now, feel free to but it might take me some time to get to it depending on the question.

I was thinking, what if Marshall had some kind of magic ability? Like intuition or future telling or a mixture of both. To say "he knows things basically.
I imagine an scenario where Gyro goes to the past and gets surprised that Marshall know his name randomly, he never told anyone. But Marshall with his gift knew and wants to help him. The sheriff doesn't know everything of course, only some things, it's funny like that. I got a bit inspired on my family and myself, cause it happens to us: sometimes we know an event ahead of times or we get visions of the future, we guess names as well as others things but I'm gonna stop talking about me cause I don't wanna sound crazy.
It would be interesting if Fenton's family had a gift passing generation by generation. In the Fenton centric au that I'm doing yeah he knows his things and has an amulet that helps him but having something like magic heritage would be cool too.

Blue.
Alr context. so. Thinking about the storyline where NGyro is actually evil, which takes place during the whole plague/search for a cure part of the royalty story. I was contemplating it being told from Gyro’s point of view, so throughout the story as they’re traveling there’s hints of something suspicious going on at the castle. Shady deals and whispers in the city. The person who’s behind it all is only referenced to by their association with the color blue- and there are two significant nobles who’d be able to pull this off whose signature color is blue. So from Gyro’s perspective who doesn’t know either of them very well, who’s the suspect? The friendly advisor who seems to want the best for everyone? Or the all-powerful wizard who’s destroyed half the city in the past yet still has a position just below the king?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, we're gettin' hit with the dregs of the hurricane right now djidgidgdg
BUT I LOVE THIS!!!
Dol shows up as some kind of ambassador/healer for St. Canard and probably doesn't make the *best* impression. This Dol wouldn't have done as much human interaction so she's probably included a few too many gore details when she discusses her work. And if NFenton responded with something like "I need to think about it" in response to sharing the cure, or even just a straight "no" she would NOT be happy.
I would assume something like that happens though, and while she stays at the castle she starts up her experiments again. Probably going down to the dungeons or even sneaking into town to raid graveyards just like back home. That gives her a chance to interact with Mads and Blue (maybe bully NGyro a bit), either trying to get them to donate some magic to her projects, or even directly take part in them. She's sharing her interest! Jdbdjdbdjd
Then when she finally is making connections the Blue capturing would happen and she would absolutely be tagging along with whatever rescue team was put together to get them back. I would assume that her magic siphoning thing, whether it's an enchanted machine or spell, she would have only tested on corpses, and she didn't think it could (or even would) work on live subjects.
BREAKING DOWN YOUR FUCKING DOOR ITS FITTING DOL INTO THE ROYALTY AU TIME.
Uhhh I have no idea how much you know about this AU so I wanna give you a rundown if thats okay and I was gonna do this in a dm but it felt too long so I'm doing it! in an ask!
I wanna go character by character of the main ones but first thing to know! Duckburg and St. Canard are different kingdoms, they're the two main kingdoms & St. Canard are. the bad guys pretty much. Their nobility is all basically F.O.W.L. and they're ruled by a certain King Starling. They've been teasing at war with Duckburg for years now.  Another thing is that clone and Negaverse characters all exist independently with the others, for clones they aren't clones they're just regular existing people like Mads has. a childhood he was a kid he doesn't even meet Gyro until he's in his mid 20s (ages are changed here too I think Gyro's like 35). And as for Negaverse people in this universe there just happens to be two people who look similar and sometimes have similar names and opposite personalities.  I was gonna say the last thing to know is about the magic but I already told you about that :3
Mads- pretty much like the main character of this au? St. Canard is known for their assassin cult, it's the reason nobody wants to go to war with them because they have these silent killers who have never ever missed a target. They're very shrouded in secret and nobody knows much about them.  Guess who is one of them! Mads! He grows up being horribly traumatized by the experience (everyone there is) but it's everything he knows and he doesn't realize how bad it is. so. one day he's given a mission into Duckburg, where he gets too big of a taste of freedom and decides to never go back. Through too long of a series of events to relay here he ends up in the duckburg king's prison where the king takes an interest in him as he's finally caught one of St. Canards famous assassins. Uhhhhhhh silly things ensue and. they end up married.
Nega Fenton- Named simply Fenton Crackshell here to distinguish him from the other Fenton, he's the king of Duckburg! He was formerly a lord under the previous king, Nega Scrooge (who I don't have a distinguishing in-universe name for yet), who was a horrible tyrant who ruled with a bloody iron fist. NFenton overthrows him and becomes king, and he's much better than the last, and he’s good, but not the greatest. He rules with absolute cold logic and does whatever for the Greater Good no matter the sacrifice, though he does what he can to minimize that sacrifice. He's also known for having a bit of a temper and being a little vain. Spending all day interrogating his captive assassin means the questions get more personal, and someoneeeee starts to fall in looove 👀
The Blue Phantom- I have most of their stuff on artfight but yeag they're second hand to the king, they'd inherit the throne if anything happened to him (before Mads shows up). They're the overpowered royal wizard (though they have witch magic as well) who is in charge of any of the castle's magical output (for example there's like. cleaning spells on the rivers all throughout the kingdom so it's drinkable, and that means Blue's in charge of stuff like that). They're not born royalty though.
Nega Gyro- Distinguished in-universe so far by just calling him Lord Gearloose, he was a lord who served under NScrooge alongside NFenton, and now is NFenton's advisor! He's nice but a little shady, in some versions of the au he ends up evil and betrays them all <333 He is the only one with a braincell in the nobility but nobody listens to him because they think he's uptight and controlling.
Gyro- A witch inventor (commoner!) who creates crazy new spells, he was causing such a ruckus in the kingdom with his spells going wrong that he eventually moved outside of the city (which is on the edge of the kingdom, so mostly outside the kingdom as well) for his safety. There he lives in the woods and is allowed to do whatever he wants to do with spells.
Fenton- Gyro's former apprentice turned partner who went with him when he left the city. Gyro doesn't go into the city much anymore so it's Fenton who does, he goes to the markets to sell their spells and they actually have a pretty good business going! Boyd lives with them too but I don't have a backstory for him yet, idk how they acquired this child.
Della- She was a knight who served under NScrooge, and when NFenton led an uprising against him, she stood with Scrooge. Not because she was loyal, he was horrible, but because she wanted to stay on the winning side and didn't think NFenton would win. He did, and he was mad that she went against him so he took away her title and sent her home. The triplets were little at the time (under the age of 5) and she was never around them with her work, so it let her go back home and be a mom. She lives on the edge of the city so she's close friends with Gyro!
Black Heron- she is just kind of. pure evil in this au and I love that for her. If Mads is the main character in this au then she's the main villain/antagonist. She was his old instructor back with the assassins and essentially where he gets most of his trauma from. He was her favorite pupil so she pushed him the hardest and wanted him to be the best, no matter what. Now that he's left she absolutely hates him, and will do whatever she can to get him back at her mercy.
Gandra- Also an assassin, Mads' childhood best friend! (she also may or may not be blind in this au im still thinking on it) She grew up in the same year as him, they shared a bunk bed. They were really close, but the assassin group forbids close relationships and even friendships are frowned upon. This is so they don’t form a closer alliance to each other over their instructors or their cause. Because of this the instructors started doing little things to force them apart, making them work different places or creating a rivalry between them.  By the time Mads leaves in his 20s they are very strained, they barley talk to each other. They really stopped talking when Mads was 18 and moved out of the girls’ sleeping quarters, which meant they couldn’t stay up late talking before bed anymore.  They still care for each other but again it’s incredibly strained.
SO THOSE ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS- that does give you some hints at the lore too- timeline wise it goes NSceooge is overthrown by NFenton, Blue is appointed royal wizard by him before he’s even coronated (he meets them in the castle dungeon, long story). Five years later Mads shows up and starts living in the castle, and two years after that there’s a big magic plague which introduces Gyro and Fenton who have a cure. They left the kingdom before NScrooge was overthrown, so they’ve been living in the woods for over 7 years at that point. Anything additional to the storyline will have to happen sometime after the plague fiasco.
SO FEEL FREE TO FIT DOL IN THERE WHEREVER YOU WANT 💕💕💕 Literally however.
Here’s what I’ve been thinking for her, and ofc you can change however you want, but that when Gyro left the kingdom for causing problems Dol was right there with him.  However she wasn’t one for hiding out in the woods so she moves on into St. Canard, where she is also quickly caught by the nobility for her spell problems. There they realize rather than imprisoning her they can use her, and she becomes some kind of court inventor/witch/wizard/healer, either one or all three. It’s a cutthroat environment but she thrives there, and is given whatever kind of funding she wants. 7 years later, after the plague, she is sent on a kind of diplomatic trip back to Duckburg, and stays at the castle there for a while. She’s not really loyal to her kingdom but has it too good to defect (and mayyyyybe secretly is scared to) so she doesn’t want to leave but she knows how bad they are there, and in some ways she eventually becomes a double agent for Duckburg. So she wouldn’t entirely be a trickster character (probably a little tho-) but I feel like I would want her to be treated as such in the narrative? She’s kind of just a third party with a hand in each world, doing mostly her own thing without entirely bending to the whim of either party. She is just Hanging Out and meddling here and there. So technically she still has to behave according to st canard (because they have an evil king with an army of assassins), but acts in the story like she doesn’t.
Anyway!!! That’s what I was thinking but ofc do whatever you want! I like the idea of her saying in the Duckburg castle for a few weeks on some kind of business, and I thought it would be funny if Mads doesn’t like her for some reason at first. XD Probably for petty reasons but they eventually become friends :3  Lmk if you have any questions or anything :3333
(One last thing- when Mads was captured by Duckburg he was scheduled for an execution, and as the interrogations kept going on it kept getting pushed back. It was never officially called off it was just rescheduled until no one cared anymore. So because of that everyone just thought he was killed eventually, and stopped caring. BECAUSE OF THAT. St. Canard think he’s dead too, so they’re not looking for him. So when Dol shows up he also has to do what he can to notttttt be recognized)
SCREAMS AS YOU KICK IN MY DOOR WITH A HISTORY LESSON LDSKNLKDSFNL I was reading this and cross checking it with your dms on the magic system like I was studying for a polisci test. But probably better than I did for those because I failed that class…..
ANYWAYS!!!
Firstly, congrats on writing three pages of lore in a Tumblr ask! I pasted it into Google docs to read it better cuz my eyes suck skdfnlsdf. I do really quick wanna drop some of the ideas I had for Dol, just in case there are any pieces that you might like to incorporate into the story somehow. I’ve been developing her a lot for the original story I’m working on and I can even finally share an old piece of her DT lore that I never got around to actually using in anything!
QUICK OG LORE BACKGROUND:
In her DT lore I was eventually gonna reveal that she was either the lead researcher or one of the researchers that headed the cloning project that F.O.W.L did when they made Webby and then later May and June. She stayed on for a while because they said they had info on where Gyro was, but when she figured out that they had no intention of sharing it she escaped after a battle with Heron. Newton was also gonna be one of the cloning experiments, as they would have definitely have tested the clone tech/magic/whatever they used on some random dna first before going with their end game. Dol took him with her because she didn’t want to leave him behind in case F.O.W.L decided to get rid of him now that they knew the cloning stuff worked.
I’ll try not to ramble too much on this one or I’ll end up writing like…20 pages. In my story Barely Baphomet the world is inhabited by toons of all kinds, but the world they live in has areas that are different genres, and certain toons can’t travel to genres that clash with what they are (example: if an object head toon went to an area that was non fiction, their head would turn unsentient and their body would have no head, killing them.) Dol ends up studying biology in a genre state where there are no slapstick toons (the name for object head, sentient object, and generally all rubberhose toons) and there’s a popular theory in those areas that slapstick toons aren’t truly sentient, but have learned how to mimic the behavior of sentient toons in order to play pranks and cause problems. Long story short, Dol ends up doing tons of experiments on these "unsentient" slapstick toons trying to find a way to transfer their long lives and logic-defying abilities to the more modern toons. She finds out she’s absolutely committing war crimes on sentient people, and then blows up the research facility when she discovers that the “director” of the place is something that…was never supposed to exist the way it does in the place they are.
So her heart’s in the right place, but ultimately she puts her goal before the people she’s supposedly chasing it for. Is what her character arc seems to always boil down to.
ROYALTY AU THOUGHTS I HAD BEFORE AND DURING MY EDUCATION ON THE LORE:
For royalty au I was thinking of something definitely with a plague doctor kind of vibe. I was going off of the assumption that you might not want to have her be related to any of your gang since she’s not a canon character (also I thought that NGyro was Gyro because I totally didn’t catch that you had multiples in there lksdnflsndf) so I had this kinda half-baked idea that she either grew up in a village that was wiped out by plague, or she was working to try and stop the spread of them (normal plagues, not magical). Dol decides that if they can’t stop disease, why not just figure out how to bring people back to life? So she starts experimenting with spells and potions and such on dead bodies, usually resulting in an undead situation or something worse. Maybe she’s found a way to siphon magic out of people and is mixing lots of magic together for more powerful (and unstable) spells/potions, if that’s possible. I thought it would be funny if either she was found by any of the cast either because there were reports of graveyards being dug up and they went out to investigate, or she’s been secretly experimenting in the dungeons somehow for who knows how long (assuming that people in the dungeon die there a lot, because then she has a great, close-by supply of research cadavers!) I would think that a magic plague, even if it was over when she showed up, would have her working more out in the open to a point where she’d draw attention to herself.
I see her as either being disillusioned with healing as a practice, or she needs to be reminded of how big of an impact healing has on someone(s), even if it can’t fix everything. Either she’d only have witch magic, or she would have both but primarily focus her attention on using witch magic to tamper with potion ingredients and such. I don’t wanna make her too overpowered or anything!
Also yes, I would love for her and Mads to be friends, especially if he’s still as sassy as he is in your main aus kdsnfklndsf.
If she's not an agent then she'd at the very least be some kinf od person of interest. I can imagine that St. Canard would see potential in having a witch on their side that seems pretty blase about what you can and can't do with magic and flesh. For Duckburg...maybe they'd just try to keep her busy (they could never keep her busy in a way that is not concerning skdfldnflksnf)
Those are all of my thoughts and things and odds and ends, let me know if any of these sound good, and if not I hope it was at least a fun read!

Curses of the ducktales family in my au:
Donald Duck: The curse of UnLuck and inturn, the curse of immortality aswell. The curse of the Sea, feeling a gravitational pull to it, only feeling completely at peace when there. The curse of Responsibility, forced to grow up faster than he was supposed to. This also caused him to take many in, practically having a army of unofficially adopted children.
Gladstone Gander: The curse of Luck, the curse of Immortality included.
Nancy Duck (cousin of Donald) and Gideon Mcduck (Scrooges half brother) : The curse of Distance, both having lost contact from their family due to physical and emotional distance.
Mary Duck: The curse of the Siren, destined to sing till her death.
Scrooge Mcduck: The curse of Fame, forced to be in the spotlight even if he hadn't shown his face in years.
Della Duck: The curse of a shadow, causing one to cover those close to her in her favour. The curse of the Sky, feeling a gravitational pull to it, feeling completely at peace when flying in her plane.
Fethry Duck: The curse of the Sea, feeling a gravitational pull to it, only feeling completely at peace when there, much like his cousins. This was broken however, when he was forced, trapped under by Scrooge - Fear is enough to break curses only if it's powerful enough to gain it's own magic.
Shamrock Gander: The curse of Luck abs Immortality, the curse was replicated when he was 'born', he's a clone of Gladstone and will eventually be in the care of Donald.
The Shamrocks a clone idea comes from "Furious Revenge" By Cursegirl on ao3, I recommend it, it's a good fic.
