I read somewhere that there was supposed to be an episode in DT17 in which Gladstone and Magica went on a double date with Donald and Daisy. And I think it's a big loss. It would definitely be fun...

I can't imagine the antics that would've went down at a double date with Magicstone and Donsy, but I'm sure it would've been either hilarious or a disaster (or both, in the usual Ducktales fashion.)

Something the Artbook shows about the Nightmare on Killmotor Hill episode that the episode itself doesn’t is that in early sketches Vi actually smiled witnessing long-leg Huey, showing how both share a braincell and maybe that in some deep deep place in her head she wishes how she’d like to be the tall of the group at least once >< (or if you’re Huelet fan maybe she likes him more when he is taller sgdhsdgdjddh)

Reading a little bit of the art book in light skims, I think by all accounts of everyone talking about the process of the show, I'm bound to love it. The atmosphere creating this show felt without stress and everyone had something to say in the entire production crew, Whether creative or comedic. God do I wanna see, or heck be part of that entire process because this all sounded like a huge blast. I now just really wish to be a writer, producer, composer, voice actor, fucking whatever that I can do, I wish I could be a part of a project with that much love and dedication.

Finally got the ducktales art book 😁

I have to say that it's somewhat lacking and I presume the guidebook has more of what I wanted, but since I bought it on sale buying the deluxe version would have been thrice as expensive.

While searching through my phone recently, I realized I forgot to share the part just before this (sorry!)

Frank Angones: There's a lot of history between Gladstone and Magica in the comics, and we hoped to set up the notion that Gladstone and Magica would eventually start dating, as was the case in the comics. So this was Introducing Gladstone to Magica and delving into the lore of Gladstone. Tying him to magic was an opportunity to get him as a comic-relief character throughout the episode, which was going to be pretty intense. Whenever we had a heavy story, especially a heavy Magica and Lena story, we wanted to have something really silly to leaven it.

I recently read the Ducktales 2017 Art book. Apparently, if the show wasn't cancelled, they were going to actually have a romance between them, including a funny double date episode.

To the tune of "I could've been turbo" ... WE COULD'VE HAD MAGICSTONE!? (animated and not just comics)
