Planetary Hora’s
Hora’s can be used to plan out your days and decide which hours you want to begin certain activities but you also have a natal planetary hour in which you born under. This can tell a lot about your life and the things that were going on around the time of your birth. It can even tell about your appearance
Go to astro-seek.com, find the sidereal chart chart section then click sidereal birth chart, and type your information in then scroll down you will see a section that shows what “hora” (which translates to hour) you were born in. I use fagan bradley sidereal
Sun Hora
People born during this Hora are more likely to attain fame in this lifetime than others. Even if they don’t attain fame in this lifetime though they will still attract lots of attention with little to no effort. They are likely to be known for or have lots of talents, having lots of generosity, being creative, being very confident, doing well in their workplace, and having a vibrant persona. Wearing Ruby gemstones can bring marriage/success into your life more quickly
Examples:
Alexa Demie
Charli Damelio
Moon Hora
People born during this Hora tend to be more strongly connected to the spiritual realm than others. They are very intuitive and have strong emotional intelligence. They are likely to have/be known for their caring nature, adaptability, cleanliness, love for the ocean, and for keeping their life very private. Wearing jewelry with Pearls on it can bring marriage and success more quickly into your life
Examples:
Megan Fox
Cindy Kimberly
Ariana Grande

Elvis Presley
Mercury Hora
People born in this Hora are more likely to gain social media fame than others. They are very curious people and love learning/hearing other peoples perceptions. Jupiter Hora
People born during this Hora are usually very successful in life. The women that are born during this Hora tend to be praised by men for their attractiveness/beauty. Things come at ease to them more so than others. The downside is that they may at worst lack self discipline or may not have a very strong work ethic. Come Take It Out On Me
Javier Peña x F!Reader
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 2034
Warnings: enemies to lovers, snark, bondage, softly dominant Javi, oral sex (f receiving) (Javier Peña eats pussy like a champ), teasing
Summary: You and Javier may not know how to talk, but you certainly know how to fuck. (ao3)
Notes: Written for the lovely @survivingandenduring for the Space Sister's Valentines! The first fic I ever wrote on here was Javier Peña and enemies to lovers, and your prompt was such an inspiration to revisit that whole vibe. Also the song 'Good in Bed' by Dua Lipa was a major inspo. I hope you enjoy! (also unbeta'd because I cracked a bone in my foot, pls be gentle).
It’s late when you get back to your apartment. You had taken yourself out for a drink after work, dressing up in a tight black dress and a swipe of red lipstick. But the admiring looks and offers to buy you another drink irritated you more than they flattered you. Instead, you had made your way over to a payphone and punched in an all-too familiar number.
“Hey, Peña. You wanna come over and fuck?”
Not particularly subtle, but it got the message across.
Back home, you pour yourself a drink and settle in to wait. Your heels are pinching your toes, so you kick them off. You’re vaguely aware of the room becoming warmer, the heat clicking on as the temperature drops.
You’re topping up your wine when there’s a loud knock at the door. You nearly roll your eyes when you open it. Javier Peña has his arm braced against the doorframe, leaning into it like he’s posing for an advertisement for the tight Levi jeans he’s wearing.
“Hello, Javier. I was starting to wonder if you’d forgotten about me,” you tell him, lifting your wineglass to your lips. He takes it out of your hand in a smooth gesture, draining it and shoving it back into your hand as he walks into your apartment.
“I wish,” he mutters, pausing to light a cigarette and helping himself to a glass of scotch from your bar. “I was late at the embassy; a knot needed untangling that had ‘CIA’ written all over it. The Castaño brothers seem to think you’ll hand them the whole country.” You top up your wine, smirking at him over the rim of the glass.
“You have a very misguided perception of what we do, Agent Peña. It’s not all toppling governments and hobnobbing with dictators.” Sitting on the armchair across from him, you tip your glass in a mock toast.
He sits with his legs spread apart, the tight jeans hiding absolutely nothing as he watches you. The silver-blue haze of his cigarette smoke hangs in the air between you, giving his features a strangely soft edge.
“Well, if anyone could find common ground with a dictator it would be you.”
“And yet, you’re here. What does that say about you?” You ask, raising an eyebrow at him. It almost always starts this way. The two of you can’t seem to help needling at one another, determined not to let a jab go unanswered. He’s too holier-than-thou for your liking sometimes, pretending that the DEA’s hands are so much cleaner than that of the CIA.
Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, the two of you discovered that all that tension somehow translated into pretty phenomenal sex.
“It says that payday is at the end of the month, and I can’t afford my usual.” Peña says, his mouth curving into a smirk. “Besides, you buy the good stuff.” He drinks more of his drink, pulling the ashtray closer with his free hand. You appreciate that even though he doesn’t particularly like you, he draws the line at ruining your rug.
“What can I say, I appreciate quality.” You say nonchalantly. “Which is why you’re here right now, and not some random stranger who couldn’t find a clitoris with a map.”
“We all have our talents. Are you going to sit over there all night? Even I might have trouble finding it from that far away.” He says it casually, but you know him well enough by now to pick up on the undercurrent of need in his voice. He’s not alone. That annoyingly familiar need had been making itself known in the pit of your stomach all night, that insistent itch that only Agent Javier Peña could really scratch.
You uncurl from the armchair, setting your wine down on the table. Javier looks up at you with those beautiful dark eyes as you settle into his lap. The seams of your dress strain to accommodate his body between your thighs, and you swear you hear a few stitches popping.
Up close, you can breathe the scent of him in. The leather of his jacket and the tobacco of his cigarettes mixes with something heady and masculine and him. You have no other word for it. You imagine that it would sell like crazy if somebody managed to bottle it as a cologne.
“Is this better?” You ask softly, looping your arms around his neck. He nods, eyes trailing down your body, lingering on the neckline of your dress.
“The view has improved.” He leans closer, pressing a soft kiss to the curve of your breast where your dress leaves it exposed. His moustache prickles the sensitive skin, his lips quick to soothe the scratch.
Your fingers slide into his thick hair. He’s still holding his glass and his still-lit cigarette, so after a moment he pulls away.
“I’d rather not light your rug on fire,” he says, leaning around you to flick the butt of his cigarette into the ashtray. With his now-free hand, he cups one of your breasts, squeezing gently. “You should wear dresses like this more often.”
“I’m sure that’d go down really well at work,” you tease, sucking in your breath as he hooks his index finger into the neckline, tugging it down further. The lace of your bra peeks out, the red vivid against the black of your dress.
Peña ducks his head again, trailing more kisses across the newly-exposed skin. Every brush of his lips is only making you wetter, even if he’s not doing much to encourage it. Bastard.
Though it’s not wholly unfair. You can feel him starting to harden underneath you, and you can’t help rocking your hips against him in encouragement. He nips at the curve of your breast, before leaning back.
“Take your dress off.” He gives you a little nudge with his hand, as if he wants you off his lap.
“So bossy, Peña,” you sigh, letting your nails scratch his scalp. You feel the shudder that runs through him, but he’s persistent.
“You like it when I’m bossy. Get up, and take your dress off.” He’s right. He might not know how you like your coffee or when your birthday is. But if there’s one thing Javier Peña knows, it’s what you like in bed.
You slide off his lap reluctantly, standing in the small space between the couch and the coffee table. While he finishes the dregs of his drink, Javier runs his eyes over you. There’s something so hungry in that look, like he’s deciding where to begin with a delicious feast.
The dress zips in the back, and you have to twist awkwardly to catch at the tab. With another man, it might make you feel self-conscious. But with Javier, all you can see is the want in him. The fabric loosens around your shoulders as you undo the zip, and you shrug the dress off in one fluid motion.
Peña casts an appreciative eye over your lingerie, leaning forward in his seat. When he reaches to set his glass down on the coffee table, he shifts so close that his hair nearly tickles your abdomen. A soft, disappointed sound escapes you when he doesn’t touch you, when he doesn’t take the opportunity to haul you back into his lap. Instead he just looks up at you, a hint of a smile on his lips.
“Gorgeous,” Javier murmurs, almost to himself. With one last lingering sweep down your body, he stands up. There’s barely an inch between you, your calves bumping against the edge of the coffee table as you shift back to accommodate him.
“Take me to bed?” You ask. Peña doesn’t say anything for a moment. One of his large hands comes up to cradle your jaw with a gentleness that never fails to surprise you. His fingers are warm on your skin, and you find yourself melting into his touch once more.
“Bed,” he agrees, his thumb gently sweeping over your lower lip before his hand drops back to his side. You lead him towards your bedroom, even though he knows the way by now. He’s been here more times than you can count.
At the threshold of your bedroom, Javier loops his arms around your waist. Your back moulds against his chest, his nose brushing your temple as he leans to whisper in your ear.
“Do you want the belt tonight?” He murmurs, and you nearly melt into a puddle at his feet. The belt is something Javier indulges you in occasionally. He’d drawn a hard line at bringing his handcuffs into the bedroom. The two of you had compromised with softer things; a silk scarf, his ties, a pair of stockings. And, of course, his belt.
“Yes please.” Your eyelashes flutter closed as Javier presses soft kisses down the line of your neck, humming contentedly against the skin. His clever fingers have your bra undone before you realise he’s moved his hands, and you let him slip it off you without complaint.
One of his hands moves to your waist, encouraging you to turn around. Every brush of his fingertips sends more warmth pooling in your core, the gentle brushes of his skin against yours making you shudder. Without him having to ask, you offer him your wrists.
Peña takes his belt off with one hand, a move that you’re almost certain he’s practised. It’s so attractive that you don’t even tease him about it. Instead, you find yourself taking a shaky breath as he loops the soft leather carefully around your wrists.
You could slip out with ease if you wanted to – it’s part of the reason Javier agreed to the belt as a compromise when you’d asked him to tie you up. You’re at a loss to explain why the buttery leather around your wrists makes you feel so good. Satisfied that it’s not too tight around your wrists, Javier gives you a small, but unmistakable, smile.
With a gentle push of his hand on your waist, Javier encourages you backwards until you’re lying on the bed, your arms stretched above your head.
“Que bonita,” he murmurs, settling himself between your legs. He’s still fully clothed, aside from his belt, and it makes you feel more exposed by comparison. One of his warm palms slides up your leg, squeezing the inside of your thigh before coming to rest agonisingly close to your core.
“Fuck, you’re so wet.” One of his fingers brushes against your core, making you jump. “You’ve soaked your pretty panties.” The edge in his voice makes you whimper, your legs falling further apart for him. He slides your underwear off with ease, and before you can catch your breath, the warm heat of his mouth envelops your clit.
It’s nearly painful, how good it feels. His full lips wrap carefully around the bud of nerves, applying just enough pressure to make you wail. Your head is spinning with the pleasure of it, your world shrinking down to your body and Javier’s mouth. You clutch at the pillows above your head, moaning with abandon. Fuck your neighbours. If they knew Javier Peña, they’d understand.
He lets go of your clit and nuzzles against your slick folds, his tongue lapping hungrily at your flesh. The noises he’s making are obscene, muffled groans mixing in with the wet sounds of his mouth.
Then, as abruptly as he’d started eating you out, he stops. The loss of his mouth is devastating, and you’re about to wail at the unfairness when his hand slides up your body. His warm palm forms a loose necklace about your throat as he looks down at you, his chin wet with your slick.
“If I let you come while I eat your pussy, do you promise to let me make you come on my cock too?” He asks. He’s entirely serious; you’ve never met anyone who takes pleasure quite so seriously.
“God, yes. Knew I did the right thing by calling you,” you tell him, practically slurring your words. He gives you that smile again, a gleam in his eye as he trails kisses down your body.
“You can always call me, baby.”

so upon further information from you and jewishlivesmatter, I have come to the conclusion that the Hadid family are remarkably unreliable when it comes to relevant information about the Israel/Palestine situation.
I have another question though, regarding a song. A few months ago, a trending Israeli song went viral on here for being “anti Palestinian” and allegedly calling for the deaths of Palestinians and for mentioning Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Mia Khalifa, apparently calling for their deaths? Idk, I tried to find a translation from the Hebrew to English but there isn’t any one that makes sense. Yeah, but apparently the song was trending in Israel at the time. I think it’s called Charbu Darbu or something like that idk if I’m spelling that correctly.
Question 1, is the song calling for the deaths of Palestinian civilians or just Hamas? Like is it actually an “anti Palestinian” song? I feel like that’s something that could get lost in translation.
Question 2: I know that Bella Hadid is antisemitic and that’s probably why she was mentioned in the song, but why Dua Lipa and Mia Khalifa? Did they do something? I haven’t been paying attention to them besides maybe Dua’s music and well, I don’t watch Mia’s… videos lol
Thank you!
I know Dua Lipa believes the same things the Hadids’s do, and she’s been vocal about it.
if anyone has an explanation for the first question or about Mia Khalifa (I think she’s just guilty for also perpetuating the Hadids’ type of antisemitism but I’m not sure), please feel free to add a response as a reblog and I’ll share it for the anon! if I find anything I’ll add an edit.

A KIND OF GUISE SS24 IS A TAPESTRY OF ALBANIAN BEACH VIBES
"Albania, the republic located in Southeast Europe, is the home of many a popular global export like Tavë kosi, the succulent lamb and rice dish, Dua Lipa, the singer-turned-designer, and IRL actual Mother Teresa.
Now though, thanks to A Kind of Guise, the Balkan country can also now consider itself a source of sartorial inspiration, that’s after the German menswear label revealed its new collection for Spring/Summer 2024 that draws inspiration from the sun-soaked landscapes of the Albanian Riviera.
Titled “Almafi” (which isn’t a typo), A Kind of Guise’s new collection captures the essence of a classic summer holiday, in particular those moments where time slows down, as you watch the glimmering turquoise sea, feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and the sand beneath your feet.
This collection, which lands on February 1 via the A Kind of Guise webstore, vividly translates the spirit of Albanian summers into a tapestry of beach vibes and sun-kissed feelings.
Highlights include the Branimir Blouson made from a super soft cotton linen, the Gusto Shirt, which arrives embellished with a blossom trim embroidery inspired by Albanian folklore, and an all new Valon Vegan Leather Jacket made of an leather alternative material based on biomass and vegetable raw materials.
Although summer might feel like a million miles away as you read this text in the midst of winter bleakness, A Kind of Guise’s “Almafi” collection is a timely reminder that warmer times are only around the corner. Now, a trip to Albania, anyone?" (x)

Our Lady of the Earrings
Almost 3 AM and as always before any flight/train (but mercifully not when driving myself) trip I am struck by a severe case of Reisefieber, which translates to almost complete insomnia, in this noble house.
Thanks to one of @bat-cat-reader's Anons, I immediately went to watch C & Alfred Enoch's seven minute segment on The Booker Prize 2023 Livestream you can watch, too, on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/live/OgIGnfxISk0?si=nfUz7KoCFgEzQmQB
Some quick observations:
Not one, but two new ear piercings I took the gracious pain of documenting (sorry for the thumbnail size, it's the best I could do with the primitive technical means readily available) :
What would that be? Punk C? How could that even be? A speculative coin dropped: last time, it was cutting her hair, but now I see a body modification impulse. I am still pondering this one and I have to say I am torn between a simple fashionista reflex and something deeper than that (new beginnings? healing? letting go?). Either way, I am not in a hurry, because I know dots will eventually connect.
Thoughts?
Also, the rings. I have never been paying much attention to that particular merry-go-round, but anyways, for the fandom pundits, there goes:
Because I am not an Our Lady of the Rings kremlinologist, I shall leave it here as is. By all means, do comment, if you feel inspired.
Onwards to content. You know, by now, that I am a book freak (after all, my fandom journey started with a bookshelf!), so I listened very carefully. Her answer to the comment prompt on Paul Lynch's Prophet Song was, I am sorry to say, so restrained it sounded almost cookie-cut. She mentioned the tension of the quoted and performed (almost to perfection, I have to say) passage of the book, but little else and it left me still hungry for more. I mean, when you love a book, you have this urge to talk about it at length. She was almost subdued, even if I am absolutely sure she read it and liked it.
By contrast, Alfred Enoch (🎵it's a small world, after all 🎶) was totally chill. I shamelessly skipped, yet couldn't help but notice the contrast.
Second question was very interesting: 'what books made you fall in love with reading?' I always find this very telling about people, because anything related to books is very personal. We are not only the sum of our choices, but also the sum of all the books we read. Something C apparently knows very well, too, because she elegantly sashayed and said absolutely nothing about her first love book. She simply mentioned her mother taking her to the library, from a very early age and how all these books were windows which opened on The World and finally how seminal this experience is for someone growing up in a small village. But no particular book made it to her lips and again, I found it very curious. I am nobody and I can still quote not one, but two books that changed my whole world (and then I never looked back): Alice in Wonderland and The Wind in the Willows. It's not that she couldn't, it's that she wouldn't. So, for Christ's sake, Mrs. B, stop punishing your fandom like that! There's nothing wrong about sharing your joy of books, it really isn't!
Third and last question: 'are you a Kindle reader? do you like a physical book? audio books? what's your favorite medium for reading?' I could have bet handsome money she was not a Kindle reader, for obvious reasons (cannot remember/retain information), but I found endearing the almost sneaky confession she needed her couch and snacks for a good reading session (same, same and since forever: I grinned). She buys a lot of books, 'and then they sit and look at me and it takes a certain time to get in'. Same as Enoch, who wondered what the Japanese word for 'buying books for the simple pleasure of seeing them pile up' was (it is, correct me if I am wrong, tsundoku).
One of the other people talking about reading and books was Dua 'Behave' Lipa. I am legit howling like the cretin I am, but the project she supports is about bringing Booker Prize books to women in prison. And this, my friends, is absolutely extraordinary.
Also, no red carpet pictures on Getty. The only one who made it was Alfred Enoch:
And somebody else seems very interested by Getty, lately (as of yesterday, to be more exact):
But surely, that is only a coincidence.
PS: it has been asked in the comments thread chez Bat. C's pinky ring is Cartier's Trinity. My favorite of them all, spare my big butterfly 1925 chevalière (which is a Chaumet, by the way).
[Edit]: I am told she had the three ear piercings for years. My bad. I can't know just about everything. Thank you @crispyflapdeputyflower for the info. The rest is fresh, though!

I saw you posted about the song Harbu Darbu. Why is Dua Lipa Bella hadid and Mia Khalifa mentioned in it? Like it seems wild to have beef with am ex porn star?
So I'm going to go into what each celeb did to be antisemitic, what the lyrics about them mean in English and why its not about them being Palestinian, arab or pro Palestine.
On the surface it does seem weird to have beef with an ex porn star however it's less so beef and moreso calling out problematic celebrities.
All of the celebs mentioned have either participated in antisemitism or supported Hamas/oct 7th. It's not just because they're Palestinian (Bella Hadid) or arab (Mia Khalifa) or dated a Palestinian (Dua Lipa).
Bella Hadid has spread blood libel. Her and Gigi have been called out many times over the years for their antisemitism. You can only accidentally be antisemitic so many times before it goes from "whoopsie didnt realize this was antisemitic" to "I'm hiding my antisemitism as an accident and not knowing better even though I do know better and hate jews"
Dua Lipa has claimed that what Israel is doing is ethnic cleansing which is false and rooted in blood libel. She has also shared a post on her Instagram in the past which states that Israeli jews are fake jews.
Mia Khalifa has tweeted "Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal." And she also posted a photo of hamasniks in a ute on their way to attack jews with the caption "Renaissance painting".
She posted a photo of herself drinking wine that was made in Reims in France when Nazis controlled Reims and had the caption "my wine is older than your apartheid 'state'". So you know, she was boasting about drinking wine made during the time when jews were being taken from France to nazi camps to be killed.
There is just so much she has done too.
All of this is super easy to find on Google to fact check it yourself.
Now going into the lyrics of the song, in English it goes
Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, Mia Khalifa, every dog gets what's coming to them.
Please keep in mind that not every language directly translates into English with perfect accuracy. However the line essentially just means "Karma is gonna get you"
It's not calling for those celebs to be killed. It just saying that Karma will get them.

Today's compilation:
Women & Songs 4 2000 Adult Alternative / Singer-Songwriter / Pop / Adult Contemporary / Dance-Pop / R&B / Country-Pop
Me, sitting in a packed boardroom in the Canadian offices of Warner Elektra Atlantic in ~1997:
"OK, OK, hold on, hold on, wait..."
*closes eyes and lightly pinches bridge of nose with thumb and index finger*
"I just got this brilliant fuckin' idea."
*takes an enormous bong rip and then exhales while gathering thoughts*
"OK, so, y'know, like...people...they love women, right? But another thing that they also love is songs too, right? So, like...see if you can follow me here...what if, like, we took women, but then, like, what if we also took songs...and then, like, what if we somehow managed to...put them both together...?!? 🤔🤯"
*The CEO of the company takes the stubby cigar from his mouth and places it in his ashtray. He then removes his glasses, gently places them on the table, and rubs his eyes a few times as he carefully mulls over what I've just said. He then gets up out of his seat while a grin starts to form on his face, and proceeds to clap slowly, with each successive clap coming more quickly than the previous one, which then leads to a universal round of applause and standing ovation from everyone else in the room. The CEO then pulls me aside and says the following into my ear...*
"See, RV, this is why we're paying you the big bucks."
*He shakes my hand vigorously and then proceeds to give me a million dollars 😀*
---
Y'know, I've posted *a lot* about *a lot* of different compilations over the years, but the first installment in Canada's Women & Songs series is one that's probably going to stick with me until the day that I die; not because it presents a terrific encapsulation of the female singer-songwriter boom of the mid-to-late 90s—which it so totally does—but because of the plainly awful and absurdly low effort that went into both naming and packaging it. It's like, you'd think it was being put out by someone who had just decided to invest in a CD burner and then sell their own bootleg releases that'd been comprised of songs that they'd downloaded off of Napster or something; but no—this shit *actually* came from the greenbacked behemoth that was WARNER ELEKTRA ATLANTIC instead! And for whatever reason, the folks there *really* couldn't be bothered to spare a few more bucks or literally thirty seconds to come up with something that was even a little slightly better than Women & Songs and these atrocious album covers. It's really all just so ridiculous when you think about it, and because of that, it's also very unforgettable as well.
But anyhoo, just like its first volume, this fourth one from the series is really nothing short of excellent too, as it provides a fantastic and diverse array of female-led gems that had specifically been lighting up the Canadian charts in some capacity dating back to 1996. We've got superstar divas like Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Tina Turner, Madonna, and Whitney Houston; we've got the country-pop stylings of Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes; we've got summer romcom staple "Breathless" by The Corrs, one of the single-greatest radio pop songs of the 90s in Natalie Imbruglia's version of "Torn"—believe it or not, she was actually, like, the fourth person to record and release that song—we've got Tracy Chapman, Veruca Salt's Nina Gordon on a well-translated adult alternative tip (anyone else remember "Volcano Girls"?), teen poppers All Saints, and we've also got Dido's "Here With Me," which was co-produced by none other than the great Rick Nowels, a guy whose own exploits have somewhat quietly managed to enrich the careers of so many other female pop stars too, from Stevie Nicks, to Belinda Carlisle, to Celine Dion, to Adele, to Alessia Cara, to Dua Lipa, to Lykke Li, to FKA Twigs, to Madonna, and Lana Del Rey 😯.
But because the Canadian music industry itself has a natural inclination to insularly market and promote a lot of the country's very own artists, there's also a showcase of some really talented women on here whose names you probably wouldn't recognize unless you were Canadian yourself; and that's a bit of a shame, because Pickering, Ontario's own Sarah Slean, for instance, really brings it with a beautifully woven and rich tapestry called "High," which first appeared on her independently released debut album, Blue Parade, in 1998. Trust me when I say this: if you really love all those singing-songwriting ladies of the 90s, like Fiona Apple, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Paula Cole, Jewel, Tori Amos, etc., you're gonna wanna hear this Sarah Slean song as well, because while it's definitely in a similar vein to all of those women, it's also pretty uniquely wonderful too 👍.
And speaking of Sarahs, I usually don't go for classical crossover-type fare, but Sarah Brightman's rendition of Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale" here is especially lovely. It's a highly effective combination of her own soprano, a lush arrangement of orchestral strings, and an unexpected infusion of a contemporarily cinematic trip hop-type of drum beat that really manages to satisfyingly bring the whole thing together. Awesome, and dare I say, (le) epic, stuff.
And I can't leave here without briefly marveling over Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love" too, which Wyclef Jean and his frequent collaborator Jerry Duplessis lent their own subdued Fugees production style to back in 1999. Such a beautiful collaboration with that one, the likes of which I'm not sure that we've ever really heard anything similar to since. Maybe my favorite song on this entire album 😊.
So, in conclusion, women and songs are both great on their own, but once again, as the wea conglomerate has shown us, when you actually decide to combine 'em, it can really yield something special. And I know it's kind of a wild concept that might be a bit difficult to grasp at first, but I think if you give this thing a shot, you'll be able to hear a lot of the mid-90s-to-y2k greatness that came as a result of this purely abstract, out-of-the-box thinking. A bunch of quality music on here, and with some focus specifically put on Canada too, but just make sure to do yourself a favor and skip over the totally uninspired opening that is Madonna's cover of Don McLean's "American Pie," because that thing is BAD.
Highlights:
Faith Hill - "Breathe" The Corrs - "Breathless" Chantal Kreviazuk - "Before You" Janet Jackson - "Together Again" Natalie Imbruglia - "Torn" Tracy Chapman - "Telling Stories" All Saints - "Pure Shores" Toni Braxton - "You're Making Me High" Dido - "Here With Me" Nina Gordon - "Tonight and the Rest of My Life" LeAnn Rimes - "How Do I Live" Tara MacLean - "If I Fall" Whitney Houston - "My Love Is Your Love" Sarah Slean - "High" Sarah Brightman - "A Whiter Shade of Pale"

you’d think that barou’s personality would reflect in his music taste but actually you’d be dead wrong. guy is the BIGGEST women of pop fan ever. his playlists are full of doja cat, dua lipa, sia, you name it — he loves cleaning to their latest hits. the first thing he did after shakira’s bzrp music sessions, vol. 53 came out is translate the lyrics from spanish to japanese. he thinks it’s nothing short of a cultural reset. fuck piqué anyway what an absolute shitstain.
#is this mega ultra self indulgent? maybe but it’s also my truth 😤#unfortunately im not that well versed in japanese pop singers so i listed ones i know :( but lemme know if you have suggestion i’m curious!!#—bllk.thoughts!#househubby barou <3#blue lock x reader#barou shouei x reader

Spellbound Secrets
playlist
current length: 32 minutes long
current amount of tracks: 8
hello! i assume you're here from a chapter of spellbound secrets, but if not, here's the prologue to get you started :)
the playlist is a youtube/youtube music playlist since that's just what i use but if you guys ask for it, i can make a spotify one too! i think there are a couple songs i wouldn't be able to add but i could see what i could do. before you go listen, i highly recommend reading more about the explanation for each song since i thought a lot about it before adding each song. my taste in music is very vocaloid leaning just so you know haha (also please let me know if those links are working!!!)
as time goes on and i release more chapters, i'll be adding more songs since some of them have to do with later plot points. i'll also just be adding songs in general if and when i find more i want to add. if you have any suggestions, i may add them so fire away if you think something might, don't be afraid to let me know <3
now, let's begin!!
Our Destiny by Solomon (VA: Kazuki Kawata): does this song even need an explanation? it's on this playlist because it's a solomon fic, it's gotta be haha
Hole Dwelling by Kikuo: this is the song that inspired me to start the playlist. the lyrics themselves could apply, but what got me to add this more than anything was the deep feeling of dread and hopelessness from the the song. if you'd like to listen to an english version to get a better grasp on the lyrics, i recommend this one over any other cover. this person did an amazing job!!
Language of the Lost by Riproducer: i adore riproducer. they're great for stepping into the vocaloid community since almost all of their songs are in english. i could go on and on about them. the lyrics in this one i feel like could be applied to mc after the events of the prologue and how solomon is going to be the one to help them and help them dig their way out of what feels like their grave
Love Again by Dua Lipa: i absolutely loved dua's album future nostalgia so i combed it trying to pick at least one song to add and settled on this one. this isn't necessarily exclusive to spellbound secrets, but the lyrics could read as solomon's feelings towards mc ahhh it's too cute
Float Planner by More More Jump!: i'm a HUGE project sekai fan which you'll see. this song and the next go hand in hand. this song is all about 'soaring' into the future together. there's one line about having difficulties overcoming but holding hands would give them the strength to continue it's so cute man. i won't yap about song and the characters who sing it but just know, i could. here's a version with an english translation
Jumpin' Over by More More Jump!: this song was released after the previous song so the messages line up. the lyrics are about looking back over past obstacles and observing growth. it feels better as an end of the fic song, but this could be for any obstacles solomon and mc have overcome together. here's a great english translation
Ultra C by Vivid Bad Squad: love this song too! at first i tried really hard to justify why this was here and i came up with a feeble reason before realizing it was my playlist and i could put a song on it because i wanted too lol. but the reason was the lyrics are about overcoming obstacles and the instrumentals are wicked. idk i'm just a huge vbs fan. eyestrain warning for the mv so here's an english translation
Hope is the Thing With Feathers by Robin: another one that i kinda struggled to justify but i just felt like the vibes matched? if i come up with a stronger reason i will list it lol

I do love to make little mixtapes for my ships. well, this got out of hand, so there's the lyrics and the vibes i get of each of these songs. i'ts first time that i make a "story" with the songs, so each one is from zoro or sanji pov, kind of progressing cause my headcanon it's that they started like frenemies with benefits to married husbands cause i'm a romantic at heart.
˗ˏˋ listen here ˎˊ˗
lyrics under the cut ♫₊˚.🎧 ✧
Montero (call me by your name) - lil nas x
Romantic talking? You don't even have to try. You're cute enough to fuck with me tonight. You know that you can Call me when you want, call me when you need Call me in the morning, I'll be on the way Oh, call me by your name. Tell me you love me in private, Call me by your name.I do not care if you lying
Amarrame - Mon Laferte
Ignórame. Ven y pierde la razón. Quiero que me ruegues y me mires a los ojos. Dame la espalda, desenfócame. Tómame del pelo y repíteme mi nombre. Y ámame, pero sin querer
Kiss with a fist - Florence + the machine
You gave a kick. I gave a slap. You smashed a plate over my head Then I set fire to our bed I spilled your blood upon the floor. You broke my leg in return So sit back and watch the bed burn. Love sticks. Sweat drips. A kick to the teeth is good for some. A kiss with a fist is better than none
Rush - Troye Sivan
Big communication, tell me what you want Translate your vibration, let your body talk to me I feel the rush, Addicted to your touch
I Wanna Be Yours - Arctic Monkeys
If you like your coffee hot, Let me be your coffee pot Secrets I have held in my heart, Are harder to hide than I thought, Maybe I just wanna be yours, I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours
Good Old fashion lover boy - queen
What're you doing tonight? Hey, boy, Set my alarm, turn on my charm. That's because I'm a good old-fashioned lover boy. Let me feel your heartbeat, can you feel my love heat?
O sarracino - Renato Carosone
'O sarracino, 'o sarracino. Tutt"e ffemmene fa 'nnammurá Ll'uocchie 'e brigante e 'o sole 'nfaccia. Ogne figliola s'appiccia si 'o vede 'e passá. Na sigaretta 'mmocca, na mana dint"a sacca.
Algo contigo - Rita payes
Y me quedan muy pocos caminos. Y aunque pueda parecerte un desatino, no quisiera yo morirme sin tener algo contigo
Hallucinate - Dua Lipa
I hallucinate when you call my name, Got stars in my eyes, And they don't fade when you come my way No, I couldn't live without your touch, No, I could never have too much, I'll breathe you in forever and ever, Hallucinate Kill me slowly with your kiss, Wrap me 'round your fingertips
Washing machine heart - mitski
Baby, will you kiss me already? And toss your dirty shoes. In my washing machine heart. Baby, bang it up inside Baby, though I've closed my eyes, I know who you pretend I am
Your best american girl - Mitski
You're the sun, you've never seen the night. But you hear its song from the morning birds. Well, I'm not the moon, I'm not even a star. But awake at night I'll be singing to the birds. Don't wait for me, I can't come You're the one. You're all I ever wanted. I think I'll regret this
誰かの願いが叶うころ - Utada Hikaru
あなたの幸せ願うほど わがままが増えてくよ. それでもあなたを引き止めたい いつだってそう それならあなたを抱き寄せたい できるだけぎゅっと
Can't help falling in love - elvis presley
"Only fools rush in". But I can't help Falling in love with you. Shall I stay? Would it be a sin. If I can't help Falling in love with you? Take my hand. Take my whole life too
One of your girls - troye sivan
Give me a call if you ever get lonely.I'll be like one of your girls or your homies Say what you want, and I'll keep it a secret. You get the key to my heart, and I need it
Sei la mia cittá - cosmo
Sei la mia città, fuori dal tempo. Sei la mia città, è un complimento. Sei la mia città, ti sento dentro
koko de kissu shite - shiina ringo
I´ll never be able to give up on you. So never say good bye And kiss me once again 行かないでね. 何処にだってあたしと一緒じゃなきゃ厭よ. あなたしか見て無いのよ 今すぐに此処でキスして Don't go. Wherever you go, you have to be with me. I only see you. Kiss me here right now
Strawberry blond - mitski
I love it when you look my way. Look at you, strawberry blond. Fields rolling on, I love it when you call my name. All I need, darling, is a life in your shape I picture it, soft and I ache
there is a light that never goes out - the smiths
Oh, please don't drop me home¨. Because it's not my home, it's their home And I'm welcome no more To die by your side Is such a heavenly way to die. And if a ten-ton truckKills the both of us To die by your side. Well, the pleasure, the privilege is mine
From the start - laufey
Don't you dare look at me that way I don't need reminders of how you don't feel the same. Oh, the burning pain Listening to you harp on 'bout some new soulmate "She's so perfect", blah, blah, blah That when I talk to you Oh, Cupid walks right through And shoots an arrow through my heart. And I sound like a loon, but don't you feel it, too? Confess I loved you from the start
Enamorada - Miranda!
Somethin' Stupid - Frank Sinata
And then I go and spoil it all. By saying something stupid like "I love you"
Dreams - the cranberries
Then I open up and see. The person falling here is me A different way to be And now I tell you openly, You have my heart so don't hurt me. You're what I couldn't find
Love on top - beyoncé
I can feel the sun whenever you're near. Every time you touch me, I just melt away Nothing's perfect, but it's worth it. After fighting through my tears And finally, you put me first. Baby, it's you.

RANI MAIN HU TU MERA RAJA JODI APNI GHAZAB LAGE ISHQ KARUNGI MAIN ITNA JYADA PYAR MANGEGA HAR DAFFE.
☾♔; November 20, 2023 ☾♔; 10:53am ☾♔; sotd: Chaleya (from Jawan) ☾♔; cotd: Gojo Satoru ☾♔; High Fashion Layout, I Guess, IDK ☾♔; Birthday Playlist/Miseries
𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: lyrics from "Faraatta", too lazy to translate
my yearly birthday playlist set, lol. I have no idea what's going on with this, I was trying to reflect my Gojocoping/Jawan whoring mood, but idk. Oh well, whatever.
It's been a shitty ass birthday month this year. We had plans to go to Laudree, but everyone's sick, so we can hardly go and cough on everything. There was the usual family + bestie crew for the dinner party, I made everyone watch Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. A non-usual crewmate, my mom's old bestie came to visit and stay over, and mixed with the shittyness of the month and being sick, I got more pissed off than usual about it. Because she came, the sunday plans to go to the mall with dad and cousin to buy OUR birthday gifts (cause all of three of us, plus my bil next weekend, all are nov babies) were abandoned cause my mom made dad take her and her bestie to costco for whatever. Like, we had to adjust all our birthday plans multiple times this month cause everyone's been sick af, and that is unavoidable, but this uninvited guest was avoidable! even if we didn't end up making it to the mall or wherever, it would've been cause WE were too tired or lazy, not because some fucking rando wanted to go somewhere else. like, this lady has 3 grown ass kids, all living in the same damn city, but she chose to invite herself over to stay the weekend of MY birthday. I didn't fucking invite her and at least this time of the year I should get a choice about it. I am being petty about it, but it's my birthday, I get to be petty. The lil cuz and I were gonna buy like a gojo plushie or a pochita for her, and finally some Sumeru merch at Sukoshi, and lush and sephora, and I was SUPPOSED to finally get my new phone this weekend. I actually need it now cause the back of my phone is coming off, and there's no time this week cause MORE guests, and this time it's my dad's shitty ass youngest brother (like okay, as a fellow youngest spoiled child, I understand why he's like that, but he's a 40-50 year old man, grow up my dude). //////////////////sigh///////////////// lowkey should've taken up my sister's offer to spend my b-day, bil's b-day, and american thanksgiving with them, but papa and me let our passports expire and it's too late now to make it in time for the events. lolz.

Don't be like this
This person just said a bunch of nonsensical stuff and blocked me and also cut out the part of my post where they told me to off myself and just refuse to talk to me over a differing opinion. Nice.
Anyway lets break this down
Being called a 'zionazi' which makes genuinely no sense? Believing in Israel's right to exist aligns me with Hitlerian policies apparently
I am apparently a lab rat supposedly, and apparently cannot be reasoned with. You haven't tried to reason with me. You haven't given any evidence, proven any points, made any legitimate claims, whereas I have evidence for mine. You give me proof, I'll accept it, that's literally all I want. And sorry, "you people"? You can't just lump an entire group of people together for backing Israel when that's the only thing they share in common, and many people support in very very different ways.
As for the song, I've scrolled through the accurately translated lyrics, not once does it mention killing Palestinians. They say they're gonna gun down Hamas supporters.
Genuinely there is only two bad things about this song, directly calling out Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Mia Khalifa, threatening someone over their political opinions is too far, and it promotes unnecessary violence. Nothing about killing civilians, just Hamas supporters, sympathisers and murderers.
I'm genuinely begging you to make a valid point, like, please find some evidence cause it's painful to believe you've just eaten all this misinformation up voluntarily without fact checking anything. You can't act like everyone's innocent in this war. It's literally a war, there's people who take it too far on both sides, it's just that Hamas keeps doing it over and over and over and never learns. So learn. Please.

Omg OK Minnie I just had a thought. Obviously don't read this if haven't seen Ghosted yet!!!!

But the ending song is "Love Again" by Dua Lipa and the lines "But goddamn you got me in love again" reminded me that Seb's character's name was God, the Bounty Hunter and my brain translated the lyrics as "But God, damn, you got me in love again" as maybe a cheeky reference since Chris produced this movie and ahhhhhhhhh!!!
I mean, I can see them falling in love again and again...right????
NAYVA 😭😭😭😭 WHY must you make me cry more?? Rude, but also I love you for it 🥺 God (hah) that's a good thought 💯💯 I want to see them falling in love over and over again, forever till the end of time 💘✨️ Thanks for sharing this thought with me, lovely!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Speaking of the soundtrack, there were a bunch of bangers on there! 👌🏻 I approve
