I am using my new headphones in school. Sound quality is great, but I need to max out the volume to get decent sound. My phone isn't really strong enough to drive them.

The other issue is my dongle is in mutiny! I don't understand! It knows not to fuck with my music! It saw the sadistic glee at which I rid of the headphones that cost me 55 of my own smackeronies for beytraying me! What does it think I will do to a shitty piece of wire that didn't cost me anything! I'm gonna get a fucking DAC!

That said, It's open-back and like $80 more expensive than the Sony MDR-7506 but it's worth it, if you prefer closed back then there's the DT770 from the same company

Best headphones for listening to music under or around £300? Hello, I have a FiiO K5 Pro DAC AMP, a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, and Audio Technica ATH-M50x, I was thinking of maybe getting a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro as I've not tried open backs before, however, then I thought I'd just ask and see what you guys think the best headphones for listening to music are for around or below £300, I don't care if they're bright, flat, glorifies the sound, etc - I'm just after a good listening experience seeing as I already have 2 pairs of monitors.These are for home use, not public - they'll be plugged into the K5 Pro,I do like bass, however, I prefer general clarity and good sound (though I don't want something without any bass, however, the DT770's aren't exactly known for their bass and they are still okay, nothing below them though - the ATH-M50x's bass is decent),I listen to multiple genres of music, and I also use them for gaming, however, that's an afterthought as music and general sound come first.Cheers. I want new Bluetooth headphones but I also want new good ones for my desk while I'm editing or doing/listening to music and in theory the bt m50x is the best choice but the amount of ppl having issues with them has me wary to blow 200 bucks on them

But I could get the dt770s and they're better imo but they're not wireless and they don't even have a removable cable which is a real con for me because that means I can't replace the cable if something happens but they're 50 bucks less and a better set so idk

I'm so torn lmao

I know there's a mod you can do for the dt770s to make a detachable cable possible but im scared to do that kind of thing lol
