Okay, so i watched mha for the first time like quite a few years ago, but not really watching it? But now im actualy watching it, AND BAKUGOU IS ACTUALY NICE FROM THE START?!?!

Okay, i'm obviously not including middle school bakugou, but like at UA, he's actualy nice!!! Like Bakugou standards of nice, but still nice.

Like he's only ACTUALY fully mean when he's fighting or is challenged by someone. I also dont get why people see him as vilianous, like, yeah he screams "DIE" all the time but honestly its just a cooler/funnier way to say "LOSE" while fighting or "fuck of" if he says it casualy to someone 🤷🏽‍♀️. I feel like thats just his personality.

Also, in the fight with Uraraka in the sports festival, he shows respect for his oponents by giving them his all, and he considers Oxhako a worthy oponent. I dont get why everyone was so mad at him!!! He then also complimented her after (in bakugou standards), like when they called her a "frail girl" and he said he wouldent call her frail. BakuCompliment there!!!! Lol

Alsooo, about the sports festival, the chaining and muziling was fucked uppp TnT. THAT IS A KIDD. He was knocked unconsious even tho he hasent even hurt todoroki and, i believe, wasent going to. And then he was chained to the podium and humiliated on live television?!?! HE HAD A RIGHT NOT TO ACCEPT THE MEDAL, RIGHT?? i mean Iida left?? He felt like he dident deserve it, and dident want it, fair enough. UGGHHHHH

Also, i dont remember this from the first time watching, but yk after he got kiddnaped when the teachers talked to the parents about the dorms, well his mom called him weak becouse he got kidnapped... Tf?!? Im reallyyyy hoping i understood that wrong. No wonder he has an inferiority complex(hc lol).

ive been deliberately avoiding looking up how long the game is / how many chapters i have left but im pretty sure im close to the end now. which is super exciting! the whole journey has been a blast and chapter 10 onwards has been so, so good.

i do wish there was a bit more downtime (i miss doing missions!! i have so many jobs lined up aaaa) but also i think that is a bit On Me bc i didnt realize i actually Had the opportunity to do missions before the waterfall cave revisit* because the back half has a lot of you doing long chains of dungeons. as soon as i was back in treasure town i spent basically all my time trying to fix my storage bc itd gotten clogged. the species-specific items are cool but they take up so much storage space and i keep feeling like i need to hold onto them for swap purposes,,

*also the jobs i wanted to do were in waterfall cave so i thought i could knock em all out in one go. Nope. you cannot do jobs if you're visiting a place for story reasons. even if its a case of making you go through the whole dungeon again. sobs.

but like, story-wise? i can see why everybody loves this game. and also why people keep saying it's the Darkest one. the peril feels a lot more concrete. i dont really remember how super goes bc its been so long, but in rescue team the world calamity was more of a distant thing you just Heard About rather than got to actually experience "here's what will happen if you fail". it being very character-driven also adds to that, bc stuff like Team Skull feels very personal and there's generally a thing where you are trying to do your best but not quite reaching it because of people deliberately getting in your way just because they can.

and then yknow. Dusknoir. everything about Dusknoir. augh.

..oh yeah actually i dont think i touched on the reveal that the words-only dscreams Zeta was getting are him hearing himself and Grovyle? i have a lot of feelings about that. not anything coherent enough to put into words, but. i wonder who was saying which line.

(i do, however, think "oh yeah the dscream only activates around time gears in the future" is a a bit of an ass pull. i dont know if they get a further explanation later, bc its probably just Grovyle guessing "yeah something's up with the past that lets you do this", but i dont get why there's suddenly a difference in functionality. maybe its related to temporal tower?)
