Castlevania/Miraculous Ladybug

I started watching Netflix’s Castlevania and found something interesting… Let me explain. So, what do we have?

1. Sullen man with misanthropic tendencies who began to terrorize people after the tragedy with his lovely wife.

2. His beautiful wife, kind and sweet woman.

3. Their son is a handsome blond who inherited his appearance and nature from his mother.

4. Also, his name is Adrian/Adrien (it’s the French spelling), and he seeks to protect people from his father.

5. A perfect family portrait that makes me cry because… GOD, LOOK AT THIS HAPPY FAMILY! WHY DID THE FATE SEND THIS PUNISHMENT TO THEM?!

6. And the last fact. This has nothing to do with Netflix’s Castlevania and relates to a reboot of the Castlevania video game series, but I find it’s funny in the context of everything I said earlier.

I don’t know about you, but I find this series of random coincidences is really hilarious and incredible. That’s how the crossover ideas are emerging!

Entrapta!!

Guess who's back! And I'm back with holiday art, which I drew specially for the "Winter Unusual Romance" competition. I was recently rewatching "Firebreather" and I decided to dedicate my competition work to this fandom. Well... let me make a little speech. All that time that I didn't show up here was utter madness for me. So much has happened! I graduated and got a job. I found many wonderful friends and good acquaintances. I lost someone I loved and learned to live alone. I radically changed my lifestyle. I found new strength for creativity. The year 2021 was full of a lot of different impressions and events. So I hope that the coming year will bring a lot of new, exceptionally positive moments. I wish everyone happiness, success and - most importantly! - good health in the new year! Well, I plan to show up here more often in the new year and fill my blog with content. Next in turn are a lot of SPOP arts, which have accumulated since 2019, a long-promised comic and all sorts of "scribbles". And perhaps I'll start posting things related to my original and OCs. So see you in 2022!

I just couldn't help but draw the most impressive and painful moments for me from the season 4. This season was able to surprise me, and I got even more than expected! And I really hope that Entrapta and Hordak will finally be reunited in season 5.

P.S. Actually, I drew this fanart early last month (as soon as I watched the new season), but I had to postpone the coloring because of other drawings for a special event. So wait more drawings in the near future.

I'm back. I'm alive. I'm going to post all my drawings that I did during my absence, but later. And now... SHE-RA! Because SPOP3 makes me happy and sad at the same time.

SURPRISE! I don't know if you remember my first SPOP post in this blog, but I've got its continuation.

Initially, it was supposed to be a three-page comic, but eventually, I decided to post the first page separately. And now, before the premiere of season 4, I'm posting the second part. I used different fonts to distinguish the words of different characters (Horde Prime, Entrapta, Hordak) in this comic.

This idea came to my mind when I found out Hordak is one of Prime's clones. I was inspired by one of my favorite traditional Russian fairy tales about Prince Ivan who fell in love with the daughter of the Sea King. In the last of the tests from the Sea King, Prince Ivan had to find his beloved among other daughters of the Sea King, and they all looked exactly the same. This exact moment was used as the basis of my comic.

The marathon of the August SPOP arts goes on!

It was my first drawing of Hordak and second drawing of Entrapta (and there's the first). By the way, this picture relates to the same AU about Entrapta who became Queen of Beast Island.

And here's what I talked about in the previous post. My drawings for Volfest 2019.

Volfest is a special event on the occasion of the birthday of one wonderful group through which I found out about such amazing fandoms like Voltron, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and The Dragon Prince. 

And a token of my deepest appreciation, I've been participating in this event for the second consecutive year. My drawings for Volfest 2018 can be seen here.

Initially, I didn't plan to draw a Halloween art... So I had to improvise :D

I don't normally make previews, spoilers of my works or something, but in this case, it's necessary.

So, I have an 8-page SPOP comic that was made in March. It relates to Clone Prince AU. The comic itself has long been drawn, but I want to colorize it. However, in the current situation, I don't really know when I can finish this work. Most likely, the finished comic will be released after the season 5.

In the meantime, catch a small spoiler. Now you know who is one of the main characters in the comic.

I'm back and I continue to post my drawings in random order! This time, the choice fell on the drawing's supposed to be posted in November 2019, but I relegated it to the background due to more recent works.

First, I want to stipulate some information. The season 4 made me really sweat. At the time of its release, I had four full-fledged AUs, two of which included Horde Prime who played a key role in the story. I have already formed his character, prehistory, appearance at that time. And then the show is: "No, Horde Prime is absolutely not like that! He doesn't look like Hordak! Let's go again!" And I had to redo everything. Well, not everything. In Queen of Beast Island AU, Prime remained intact (but more about that another time). But I decided to thoroughly remake Clone Prince AU. Actually, the essence is the same, the main events and Prime's personality traits haven't changed, but some details (in addition to changing the appearance of certain characters) had to be added. And I think the AU got only better.

Now, about the idea. In his youth, Horde Prime was an ambitious, very inquisitive ruler who loved science, strove for self-development and wanted to use the accumulated knowledge to make his empire great. His particular passion was the exact and technical sciences, as well as neurobiology (this partly explains his ability to read thoughts and manipulate memories). Horde Prime began to study the issues of cloning after the tragedy that happened to his people.

In order to contribute to scientific and technological progress on his home planet, Horde Prime made a truce with the First Ones and began to study their language and technologies. For years, both peoples worked together for the benefit of their entire civilization, but everyone understood that the already fragile peace wouldn't last forever. And when the conflict escalated, the planet of Horde Prime was the first to be completely destroyed by a new secret First Ones' project - the Heart of Etheria Project. And that's how Prime turned out to be the only survivor of his race, a ruler without a people and a kingdom. And as Horde Prime traveled alone across space on his ship-laboratory, he began to rebuild his empire from scratch by creating his own clones.

P.S. The design of young Prime was developed by me on the basis of Hordak's flashbacks in season 3.

I have no idea how it works, but that's quite funny and interesting decision in the selection of characters' design.

P.S. But what's even funnier is the fact that none of the clones (including not defective) are an exact copy of the original. But what a variety we got! (I simply adore this alien trinity! ❤)
