david as a dad headcanons (+angel) !!
david and angel have twins (older twin is a girl and younger twin is a boy) and a daughter five years apart
Dad David who, right when he found out they were having a boy, knew he wanted to name him Gabriel (he can't bring himself to call him Gabe most days, but the girls and other pack kids will)
Dad David who bawled like a baby when each of his kids were born
Parents Angel and David who are the best at responsive parenting. They have not and will not ever yell at their children especially not for something as minuscule as dropping a cup
Parent Angel who has to be the disciplinary parent because David literally can’t sometimes. Uses the "they're just kids" excuse all the time (the kids know this and use it get out of trouble when Angel isn't around)
Dad David who has a huge fear of being too harsh for his kids and making them feel unloved or afraid of him
Also Dad David who calls his kids 'angel dust' and 'baby wolf' on the regular
Dad David ‘workaholic’ Shaw taking a whole week off of work because his eldest had separation anxiety from starting school
Parents Angel and David who vowed to never let their kids hear or see them fight (they see the disagreements and banter but never the ones that get a little more hostile)
Dad David who never made any of his kids feel pressure to be the next Alpha after him (it ends up being his youngest daughter)
Dad David who wakes up at the ass crack of dawn to pack each kid's lunch box to be perfect every single day (with the cutely shaped vegetables and fruits and animal picks)
Dad David who also writes a short personalized note to put in their lunch boxes everyday
Dad David who lets his youngest daughter follow him around all day, even to the bathroom (secretly dreads the day when she's a teenager and never wants to be around him anymore)
Parent Angel who cries when the girls find their old dance videos and try to recreate it (they butchered the whole choreography but they looked adorable)
Dad David who forces himself to talk more and give his kids the reassurance they need even if he thinks he's saying the wrong thing (Angel is always there to back him up)
Dad David who, when his kids are trying new food, holds his hand out for them to spit out what they don't like
Dad David who cries when he helps his kids shift for the first time
Dad David who holds his kids the entire time they're sick no matter what Angel says
Dad David who takes his kids to visit the grave of his own parents and tells them about how he grew up (laughs through the tears when his eldest daughter tells him not to die)
Parent Angel who doesn’t let anyone kiss their kids on the mouth or change their diapers/pull-ups
Dad David who has full-blown conversations with the baby babbles
Dad David who sees the slightest injury on one of his kids and goes full doctor mode
Dad David who tells the story of how he proposed to and married his mate to his children over and over
Dad David who watches with the widest smile on face whenever Angel reads to or plays with their kids
Parents Angel and David who call their youngest daughter crybaby
Angel who also calls their youngest 'sushi' because she loves sushi
Dad David who begrudgingly allows the other pack kids to call him Davey when they hear it from Angel (children are surprisingly persistent he finds)
Dad David who has picky kids and has mastered all of their safe foods
Dad David who is the type to stay up all night to finish his kid's art project they left until the last minute
Dad David who will let his kids gnaw on his fingers when they're teething
Dad David who thought he wouldn't be as good of a father as his own was but the second he laid eyes on his firstborn twins he swore he would dry his damn best (best dad david)
Parents Angel and David who go all out for birthday and holiday gifts (gets those kids everything on their wishlists)
Parents Angel and David who still made a point to teach their kids proper gratitude and respect (those kids are genuine angels that choose chaos) ((like someone we know veryyyy well))
Dad David who does the girls' hair in cute styles and is more than happy to oblige when his son shyly asks for pink bows in his hair (will fight anyone who says anything)
Dad David who loves his family more than anything

vacationing with isagi while he’s abroad for a game or training is so <3
૮ ͈>◡< ͈ა warnings — fluff, semi-smut, minors dni 18+, characters aged up to 20s, vacationing, being spoiled woo, being picked up, wearing a bikini, possession, little bit of smut towards the end, pro player!isagi, fem!reader - not beta read !
like say you’re in Italy and he gets a few days off between matches so he has you flown out first class and as soon as possible. he lets you plan an itinerary of all the things you’ve ever wanted to do with the time you have — trying gelato, visiting historical monuments or scenic walks.
isagi packs a fanny pack of all of your essentials because he knows you have a tendency to forget things. lip balm, sanitiser, a spare sun hat and a stick of spf because all you have in your massive tote bag is gifts for all of his friends back home in the form of an assortment of key chains and fridge magnets. he dresses like a dad, bless his heart. in a bucket hat that matches the colour of your sun dress, shorts and a t-shirt you’ve chosen for him.
isagi tries not to let his hands wander on days where you lounge on the beach. you’ve asked him to put on your sunscreen, and he’s cheeky with it — massaging the cool liquid into the expanse of your skin, rubbing out the knots in your lower back and shoulders so that you let out adorable squeaks and moans.
“do you need me to go lower?” yoichi will groan into the shell of your ear once his calloused hands reach the base of your spine, teasing you from over your cute little bikini bottoms.
you reach back to shove him off with an angelic smile and devilish eyes to match. “later, yoichi.”
he’ll let you drag him over the sandy shoreline and straight to the enticing blue of the ocean that rivals his eyes — glaring at anyone who dares to look your way. it’s a little stupid, he wants you all to himself, doesn’t want anyone to get to take in your beauty, your lucious figure, your dazzling expression the way he does. isagi nearly bites the head off of the poor guy who makes the mistake of glancing your way when you dip your toes into the water and your chest jiggles a little (you bounce away from its coldness).
isagi who has to lift you into his arms, your legs wrapped around his unfairly slender waist, to actually get you into the water. despite how pretty it looks, the sea is cold and you grip onto the pro player for dear life the further he walks away from dry land. he’s in waist deep, calm waves lapping at his slightly tanned skin and abs, when isagi kisses you slowly and drags out your bottom lip to distract you from the mere fact that he plans to dunk you in the water.
he forgets your arms around his neck as you drag him beneath the aquamarine surface with you — a melody of both of your giggles tangling with the salty sea air.
isagi orders you as many dishes, from each restaurant you stop at, as you want — happily spooning a portion of his risotto into your open mouth because you’d forgotten to order it for yourself and grinning when you kick your feet out in a happy dance. he thinks you’re so cute.
and later, on your last night, isagi makes love to you against rose petal sheets that he’d requested from the hotel staff. his tongue rolls over yours and his hips pin you to the bed and you can’t escape because he barely gives you the room to breathe while pouring all of his love into you. it’s overwhelming, crushed by the weight of him while pounds you to high heavens and you can’t help but cry because tomorrow isagi will belong to Japan, belong to the world and it won’t just be you two lovers exploring cobblestone streets and fruit markets anymore.
“you don’t need to think about that right now,” isagi mouths the words against your neck sloppily, his hands reaching between your intertwined and sweaty bodies to thumb at your clit. “s’just you ‘n me, precious. ‘n when this is all over, i’ll take you to another city. another place a-and i’ll fall in love with you again.” he somehow manages to hiccup between slow grinds and lewd squelches.
and you believe him, because no matter where soccer takes yoichi, your heart will always follow.

OT13 as: types of people during Diwali
a/n: diwali is the indian festival of lights, and it celebrates the triumph of good over evil; light over darkness. people usually celebrate by dressing up in traditional clothes, bursting fireworks, decorating their houses in diyas (small lamps that look like this 🪔) and distributing sweets. in light of the festival just passing by, i thought of this! hope you guys like it <3
p.s. this is entirely my opinion and there's lots of other ways people behave during/celebrate diwali. this was written just based on my observations.
contents: mentions of firecrackers , seventeen written as desi boys (i was inspired to write this after watching them do the holiday dance w an indian carat)
firecracker names:
atom / sutli / chocolate bombs - really loud and annoying (don't mind the names)
chakra - circle-shaped. when lit, it rotates on the ground with one end on fire. VERY scary (to me)
pop pop - tiny round crackers that make a popping sound when you throw them on the ground. cute and harmless
rockets - the basic ones that whoosh into the sky and then burst into fireworks. pretty, but once lit, you need to be careful of it zooming at you
sparklers - pretty basic. they're sticks that, once lit, start sparkling. used to light the other types of crackers
type 1: the annoying people that burst firecrackers the entire night.
seungcheol: buys the LOUDEST bombs/crackers ; will be firing them off past midnight and ruin any chances of the neighborhood getting sleep. he's the guy that brings like ten candles and matchsticks (important because it helps people light up their crackers.)
jeonghan: simply evil. will throw pop pops at people for no reason. is a grown-up but will buy one of those fake diwali guns (they dont have bullets, just make a loud sound when fired) and chase little kids around.
chan: courageous (stupid) enough to hold a mini-rocket in his hand, light it while its in his hand (which is not supposed to be done) and throw the rocket out into the open. probably annoys girls by chasing behind them with sparklers, hoping to charm them. (the girls hate him.)
soonyoung: he's probably lighting chakras and then getting a friend (chan) to kick it around like it's a football. as if the thing isn't SPARKLING and on FIRE. has probably set off too many rockets into people's homes. he's a menace in the neighborhood.
type 2: the kind people who distribute sweets among neighbours and friends.
mingyu: he's probably making all the sweet treats by himself at home, with the help of his mom's recipes. packs them up in a cute way and gives them to his neighbors. (petty asf so he will avoid that annoying girl who stole extra sweets from him last year.)
joshua: bought like 20 of those expensive gift boxes with 5 different types of sweets in them for all his neighbors and friends because he's a sweetheart.
junhui: would also be distributing things among loved ones, but not the sweets people hope to see. the intricately designed box is opened to reveal ..... dry fruits. sorry jun, but those suck! (i'm also allergic.)
type 3: the unbothered people who ignore/sleep through the noise.
hansol: we've seen him sleep through grown-men doing karaoke. sleeping through firecrackers is light work for him.
jihoon: probably just immerses himself into his work. will be holed up in his studio, so all outside noise is cancelled out.
wonwoo: would also be engrossed in gaming or something that requires him putting his noise-cancelling headphones on. the smoke from the crackers makes his eyes burn, so he doesn't burst crackers.
type 4: the scaredy-cats and drama queens.
seokmin: he's going to be amidst all the firecrackers, but he's going to be screaming his ass off the entire time. people will be going deaf that evening. will act like the tiny pop pops are life-threatening. (they aren't.)
seungkwan: dramatics will be dialled up to a 100. initially, he's gonna bitch about all the people who burst crackers and call them annoying because the sound irritates him. but he will be found downstairs in the evening because he has major FOMO. will be either throwing out side-eyes or scolding people who are a threat to him (literally just trying to give him a sparkler.)
type 5: the eco-friendly person.
minghao: the type of guy to go around saying, "this year, i'm celebrating a green diwali" (which is good btw. bursting crackers severely pollutes the air) unfortunately, all his friends and the little kids think he's either too scared to join them or too superficial for caring about the environment. he doesn't care anyways ; will be decorating his house all pretty with lights and diyas though.

Detox day
🍓Struggling with mental health can be difficult. When I struggle I usually try to have a ,,detox day”. But what is a detox day?
A day to reset and refresh, to clear your mind and body. A break from the usual, giving yourself a chance to feel better.
🍓Here is a simple and easy routine that can help you go thru your detox day and reset your mind and soul🦢
Morning🪼
• Start your day with a large glass of water (add lemon if you like for an extra detox boost) to hydrate and wake up your system.
• Do some gentle stretching or yoga to release any tension and get your body moving.
• Follow with a light, nourishing breakfast, like a smoothie packed with greens or a fruit bowl. Keep it simple and fresh to fuel your body without feeling heavy.
• Disconnect from your devices for a digital detox. Spend this quiet time journaling, meditating, or just being present in the moment.
Afternoon🪼
• Take some time to clean your living space. Decluttering can be incredibly therapeutic and will help create a more peaceful environment for the rest of your day. Light a candle or incense for a calming vibe.
• Indulge in self-care with a luxurious bath or shower. Use a face mask, body scrub, or even dry brushing to pamper yourself.
• After lunch, step outside for a nature break. Go for a walk, sit in the park, or just soak up some fresh air to reset your energy and clear your mind.
Evening🪼
• As your day winds down, keep things light and calming.
• Unplug from your devices again and unwind with a cozy evening routine. Dim the lights, put on soft music, or read a book. Focus on calm and restfulness.
• End your detox day by heading to bed early, giving yourself the gift of a good night's sleep to complete your full-body reset.
Thank you for reading🪷 Reblogs are very helpful🦢

JourneyTober! Day 5 - Lotus
Through the heart of the forest, a gentle brook weaved its way between tree roots and stubborn stone. Sunlight danced along the surface of the crystal-clear water, the current slow but deep. Speckled rocks and flittering fish could be seen all the way down to the bottom. It flowed over a rocky outcrop and into a tinkling waterfall before continuing its leisurely journey.
“This is the perfect place to rest!” Jen declared. She dropped her backpack and perched on a nearby boulder to admire the scenery. Behind her, Monkey huffed but accepted the impromptu break. “It’s so peaceful. And look at all the flowers!”
Decorating the side of the waterfall, lotuses were growing out of the craggy surface, delicate pink blossoms swaying against dark stone.
“They’re so lovely; too bad they’re way up there. They must be pretty tough to grow so high up.”
Jen dug around in her pack, handing Monkey her calabash. He took both gourds to fill with water while Jen laid out some fruit to snack on. Instead of the usual creek-side refill, Jen turned to find Monkey scaled halfway up the cliff face, already filling the second calabash directly from the waterfall. Jen just shrugged it off, leaving him to his business and munched on a handful of slightly squished berries.
Despite the warm day, the shade was cool and the brook’s mist on the breeze was refreshing. Taking a deep breath, Jen closed her eyes to enjoy the serenity of the forest. Birds twittered in the air overhead. Leaves rustled and whispered from their branches. The gentle babbling of the brook blended into the soothing ambiance.
Then the tranquility was shattered by a surprised yelp and loud splash.
Whirling around, Jen found Monkey in the pool at the base of the waterfall. He waded back to shore, his clothes and fur soaking wet. Even his poor tail was flattened and dripping water.
“Oh my god, what happened?” Jen asked, yanking a blanket from her backpack and hurrying to him. Monkey didn't answer, face flushed and eyes averted in embarrassment. “Are you okay? Here, use this to dry off.”
Jen tried to hand him the blanket but both his hands were full. One was still clutching the ties of the gourds. The other was holding something new. When Monkey noticed Jen’s gaze, his face burned brighter red and his tail lashed anxiously behind him. Before she could figure out what it was, the object was practically shoved in her face.
It was one of the lotuses, freshly plucked from the waterfall. It’s delicate, pink petals were still sparkling with water droplets. The full bloom was wider than her palm and soft to the touch. She gently took the flower from Monkey’s grasp, eyes wide as she glanced from the gift back to him.
“Did you pick this for me?” Jen asked, her cheeks turning a rosy hue.
Monkey gave a curt nod, shuffling nervously in place. He still refused to look up, studying the patterns of water dripping off his frame. As touching as the gift was, seeing her monkey so miserable was too much for Jen to bear.
“Why don’t we just camp here for the night? I’ll get some firewood and we can get you dried off, okay?”
Again, Monkey only nodded but relaxed a bit at the suggestion. Tucking the lotus behind one ear, Jen unfolded the blanket and leaned in close to wrap it around his tall figure.
“Thank you for the flower, it’s beautiful,” she whispered by his ear before pressing a soft kiss to his furred cheek.
Monkey froze; eyes wide, wet fur puffed out, his tail stock-still. A surprised little chirrup rumbled from his chest when Jen pulled back with a giggle. By the time his senses returned to him, Jen had already skipped out of the clearing for firewood, leaving Monkey to ponder the all-too-brief kiss.
