Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Mickey got out of prison shortly after Ian. But! Imagine us getting a scene in S10 of Ian visiting Mickey in prison and showing he's actually committed to Mickey this time and will wait however long it takes for him to get out. In the S1 visit, Ian's all smitten and Mickey acts indifferent. In the S6 visit, Mickey is in love and Ian acts indifferent. A S10 visit could have been so good, like third time's the charm. Ian all excited and going to visit Mickey. Mickey relieved when he sees Ian showed and kept his promise, that he really does want Mickey even when he has the choice of anyone else in the world who isn't stuck in prison. THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR HAND ON THE GLASS AND ARE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WITH HEART-EYES! I just like wish we got this.

i feel like i need to share this part of the scoundrel's response to the FL OC census with the rest of the class. it's just. what can i even say, really.

#it is unfortunately really fun writing them being the worst person alive #yin-thoughts #fallen london #if you ever wonder why i habitually bully them it's because they deserve it with takes like this #and they're really comically overdramatic saturday morning cartoon villain coded #their destiny isnt actually the chariot. their destiny is actually either becoming the team rocket to the rest of the master's giovanni #or becoming one of those grumpy reformed children's show villain characters that's portrayed as a Big Threat in the beginning #but then by the end of the second season they've just become like. adopted into the squad as a grumpy tagalong #one of the two. perhaps both simultaneously. they contain multitudes #they're like the kind of character that would have a my little pony episode dedicated to teaching them about the magic of friendship #and perhaps the magic of not discarding one's entire identity to idolize a drunk chiropteran asshole #scoundrelventures
