I agree that f1 academy is for social media. But I see that has good. Show young girls that they also can be racing drivers, they might not get into f1 but there are also so many other drivingsports they can get into. And maybe someday in the future there might be a woman driving in f1.

Also for the girls in f1 academy right now I think it's good for them to be seen and get sponsor so that they will be able to get into the feeder series.

And I agree that Latifi would win over them but like?? They are not on f1 level yet? He probably win agains f3 driver too? It has nothing to do with that they are women that they wouldn't win agains f1 drivers. They don't have the experience yet. It's like a pro basketball team competing agains a local high school basketball team

For sure I think it’s great for the women to give them an avenue to make a career out of motorsport in some way. Whether that be driving, or punditry, much Naomi Schiff. It definitely has its merits and any woman wanting to race would benefit greatly from taking part.

But I think the way they market it as “stepping stone to f1” is a little disingenuous, same way that they’ve forced f1 teams to buy into it.

I would like to see if this gives any of the f1a girls a seat in f3, and if that translates into results before I make any judgement on the validity of that.

I think the Latifi/stroll comment was about them when they were in f3. Because we know Bianca has one sided beef with Stroll but he actually won f3. And I’m not saying the women in f1a wouldn’t win against boys in f4 but the thing is…we don’t know because they’re competing in a rigged arena. We have the data on Sophie Flörsch because she competes on f3 against racers who are as close to what the best based on merit can be. But with F1a girls it’s all speculative.

I definitely think f1a is a great opportunity for the women in it but I also think the actual racing of it all will always be a bit of a question mark.
