You know the happy ghast update? When looking at the footage of it, I saw it had gills of some kind and realized that it’s probably similar to a axolotl with having its kinda ‘gills’ being able to show and breath properly cause there’s moister in the air in the over world and it’s probably shows that it’s healthy that it’s able to breath properly than when it’s dried. So the ghast probably is struggling to breath from the dry air so it’s lungs are probably hurting everytime it has to be in the nether with its dry and horribly hot climate.

Get my boy some water😭 they don’t deserve this.

apart from the verbal sparring and the visual implication of the parted curtains, what i enjoyed about this scene is how ambessa truly writes caitlyn off as someone she can completely manipulate.

we are familiar with ambessa's 'blood for blood' mentality when it comes to family and, in some way, that is true for caitlyn especially in the first act. but now that all things are said and done, caitlyn wavers and ambessa senses this, too; the conviction is there but the resolve requires fuel. so ambessa stokes the fire, literally and figuratively, choosing the words 'anger' and 'sorrow' to remind caitlyn what she should feel, appealing to caitlyn's grief yet again.

the problem is, ambessa sees too much of herself in caitlyn that she underestimates caitlyn's talent for deduction. and that is clear in ambessa's reaction in the end of the act.

i know we have our reservations against caitlyn but i think we can somewhat agree that her mind, when put to work in things unrelated to autocracy, is simply brilliant.

sorry for the drawtectives reblog spam lol i've been watching the show and it's SOOOOOOO GOOD OUGHHH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH (i'm currently watching episode 6 of celestial spear)

it's actually SO peak

it's absolutely hilarious, but also genuinely REALLY compelling! i'm genuinely so intrigued by the mystery in season 2 and i love the ominous vibe that hides underneath all of the silly shenanigans! the art is also FANTASTIC (especially in season 2) so far, julia absolutely killed it with all of the backgrounds and character portraits :D

i keep pausing just to read posters and look at other such details in the backgrounds lol

also i am. SO NORMAL ABOUT GRANDMA AND EUGENE....

don't get me wrong i absolutely ADORE all of them ofc ofc but those two are my favorites so far ‼️

i just have so many thoughts about themmmm

as an any pronouns user, seeing grendan/grandma's journey through figuring out their identity develop throughout season 1 was SOOOO amazing and deeply relatable; as silly as this may sound, i felt VERY seen by the funny dog-walking dwarf feller (gender neutral)

ok and. augh..... EUGENE... OUR COLLECTIVE PERFECT SON 💖he's sooooo silly and head-empty i love it, and the drawtectives immediately just deciding "yup. he's our son now." was hilariousssss

but also. WHO IS HEEEEEEEEE... that newspaper art looked so intimidating, all the non-portrait art of him is soooo ominous, i'm genuinely so intrigued to find out what all that stuff about him and the unnamed hypnotist is about...

if eugene turns out to have been evil or something i'll be so sad 😭

Went to look at a jacket I’ve wanted for ages that would be a slightly bigger purchase. Checked my bank account to see if I could swing it and was like. Ah. I was having a little laugh, there, I cannot afford such a thing.

ohhhhhh my god saltydkdan comic about my 2 favorite sonic characters???? This comic is fantastic, the ending text is such a punch to the gut (/pos) i'm gonna be blubbering about this for the rest of the day. i feel like this comic really understands shadow and his character better than sega has for years (with a few exceptions like in The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog where Shadow's characterization is actually kinda good.) thank you to everyone involved for making this, as a huge Shadow fan this type of stuff is wonderful to see.
