don’t break my heart - part 3
it was right after monday night raw ended that you had no energy left in you.
you knew it was going to be complete chaos when the shein version of the judgment day ruined damian’s match. rhea’s blood was boiling at the sight of damian being attacked by his ex members. so, you knew chaos was going to happen when her theme song echoed into the arena.
she told you to choose. she said that no matter what your decision was, her feelings for you weren’t going to change but she made clear that she was going to kick liv and dom’s asses. she told you - you can stay here and wait for us backstage or you can join me - and honestly, you thought about it but ten seconds later you were running by her side.
the crowd erupted in happy screams when they saw you by her side.
rhea pointed liv, you pointed jd, and finn too.
finn knew that you wouldn’t have picked him over damian and rhea but he wasn’t expecting to see you against him.
“don’t do this…” he told you “you’re gonna regret this” he didn’t mean to threaten you, he just wished you weren’t involved at all.
“i don’t care…i’m tired of hiding” and with that you simply attacked him. carlito saw the scene and simply came to the rescue, trying to take finn away from you.
while rhea tried to attack liv, damian was still in the ring with jd so you you went to attack him “move” you simply said. his face was stone cold. maybe finn was right, jd had a crush on you but you couldn’t care less.
of course liv and dom ran away, like the cowards that they are and in the meantime damian took his time in finishing jd.
the crowd cheered when they saw you, dam and rhea standing there in the ring, hugging each other, knowing that no matter what, you would always have each other’s backs.
while backstage, rhea and damian took their time answering questions and doing interviews but you were too tired from the event that occurred that all you wanted to do was to end up in your hotel room and sleep all night long.
walking towards the exit, you spotted drew who kindly waved at you. drew was the same as jey or la knight for you, just kind acquaintances because they were friends with damian and rhea but nothing more.
“hey kid” he smiled at you. his nickname made you smile “great fight out there”
“oh” you awkwardly smiled “that…that was nothing but thank you”
“are you going back to the hotel?” he asked, probably already knowing the answer, seeing you with your bags and tired look.
“yes…i was thinking of calling an uber, i fear damian and rhea will take too long with interviews right now…” you smiled.
“don’t call them, i can give you a ride, plus we are staying at the same hotel right? in downtown?” he asked and you nodded “i’m going back right now, you can ride with me”
“are…are you sure?” you didn’t want to be a bother so you doubled checked.
“positive, let’s go” he smiled and walked towards the rental car he got for the show. you’ve never been alone with drew before, only talked with a few times when he was training with damian so the idea of driving with him for 30 minutes was making you nervous.
but the car ride was quite and silent. not awkwardly silent, just comfortable enough. soft music playing in the background, drew watching the road as you watched some raindrops falling from the sky.
“you have talent kid” he broke the silence, waking you from your thoughts.
“oh, thank you…” deep down you knew you had talent, but that being the reason of getting kicked out of your family always made you feel guilty sometimes. you always wondered and imagined how your life would be if you actually had applied for college as your parents wanted for you. maybe you wouldn’t be this shy or weird while meeting new people. maybe you would be more confident about yourself. maybe you would have a boyfriend and a lot of friends.
there was always that voice in your head that screamed what if
“you don’t talk much uh?” he softly teased, making you smile a little.
“not really, no…i’ve always been like this, i guess…” lie. growing up you were talkative and you remembered your mother always telling you to shut up because you talked too much - what would she say if she could see you now?
“i get it…i was really shy growing up, then i started getting more used to the job, working with live crowds for all these years made me change the conception i had about myself…and i worked a lot on me, that helped me” he said, talking about himself but like he was giving you an advice.
you had to work more on yourself and you knew it, you just didn’t know if you were ready yet.
“yeah…big crowds helped me a bit but i still have to get used to it” you smiled.
“about that…everything okay today?” he didn’t want to overstep but he was worried about you. he couldn’t understand what finn did to make you run away like that.
“oh with finn?” he nodded “yes, he just said some things he shouldn’t have said…nothing major”
“got it” he smiled, realising you didn’t want to talk about it.
the rest of the car ride was spent with him just talking about his family. you were curious about it because he always talked about them so nicely that you actually wanted to know how he felt having his family and friends proud of him “and what about your family y/n? i’ve never seen them at the shows…”
he may have overstepped because you didn’t answer. he knew something because people talked but he didn’t know the full story and the one person who knew the truth was you.
“nothing much to say…they have other hobbies” you tried to avoid the argument as much as possible and you were happy dropped the conversation right there.
once at the hotel you thanked him about the car ride and told him that you were tired enough that you would have fallen asleep in the lobby any minute.
“yeah, i’m pretty tired too” he smiled at you “listen, in case you need more car rides or just someone to talk to, here’s my number, goodnight kid” and with that he left.
he gave you a piece of paper with his number on, kinda old fashioned but you liked it.
once you got to your room, you tiredly took a second shower and change into your pjs. you were so tired that you haven’t even eaten yet but at the moment you couldn’t care less.
before you could drift off, you received a text from rhea.
from rhea🖤
hey girl! sorry we took so long, we just finished with interviews, are you still in the arena? do you need a ride to the hotel?
from you
hey rhea! don’t worry about it! i can’t wait to see all of your interviews! i’m already back at the hotel and ready to sleep lol, but thank you so much for the offer!
you kinda didn’t mention how you got back to the hotel because you knew that if you did, rhea and damian would kept asking you questions that you didn’t want to answer. so you simply told her that you were about to sleep and that you would see her tomorrow.
but before falling asleep, you memorised drew number and decided to text him a “thank you for the ride, have a good night!” and then you drifted off.
drew would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy receiving your text. he was up all night staring at the ceiling and thinking of you. he’s been feeling some sort of attractions towards you but he thought that it was just a game his mind was playing to him. but sitting next to you and driving with you made him realise that maybe his attraction was actually a crush. he wished he could get to know you better but he knew and he saw - from the brief conversation you had in the car - that you wouldn’t open up to him, that he had to gain your trust and he was willing to do that.
morning came and you and rhea were already hitting the hotel gym as you waited for damian to join you.
“so…” rhea started talking “everything okay with the uber last night? did they get you here safely?” rhea knew about all the horrendous stories she read about uber drivers being maniacs so she tried to avoid them as much as possible, and so did you.
“oh…” you thought for a second “no i actually didn’t call an uber last night…uhm, drew drove me back here”
rhea was a little shocked for a moment but before she could say anything, damian both greeted you “what are we talking about here girls?” he gently smiled at you.
“drew as in drew mcintyre?” she asked and you nodded.
“what happened?” damian’s tone was more serious.
“nothing, drew just drove me back to the hotel last night and rhea is shocked about that” you wanted to avoid that conversation as much as possible but their looks made you realise that you would have to explain everything that happened last night.
“why him?” damian asked.
“because you were taking too long and drew saw me calling an uber so he offered? plus we are staying in the same hotel so i don’t see the problem”
“yeah but him?” it’s not rhea didn’t like him, they were friends. she didn’t like the idea of you and him alone together.
“yes rhea, him. he just drove me back, nothing else happened” you sounded irritated and damian noticed it.
“okay well, what matters is that you are here and everything went fine, right?” damian asked, hinting at rhea to drop the topic. she simply nodded and went back to her training.
you were just doing your exercises when a notification pop up into your home screen.
it was a text from drew.
hey kid, no problem at all! i told you, if you need car rides or anything else, just give me a call ;)
“what is making you smile like that?” rhea asked with a hint of curiosity.
“oh nothing, i just received a text…”
“from who?” damian teased you.
“no one you should worry about” you teased back.
“ouch…” rhea pretended to be offended “you’re keeping secrets now?”
“gosh, no! it was nothing important anyway” you quickly replied, tried to focus on your exercises. rhea and damian shared a look without you noticing it, they were determined to find the mysterious person behind your morning smile,
i will keep it mind lol! are you still in bed? i’m working out with damian and rhea and i’m already tired :(
you quickly answered back. in that moment you realised that maybe he didn’t wanna talk to you and you were just being a bother. what if he didn’t want you to text him? what if you were being a bother? what if, what if, what if were already overworking in your mind but before you could think of something worse, drew texted you back.
still in bed but i will hit the gym in a few minutes, i really don’t feel like it after last night but i have to…guess if i won’t be too late i’ll see there ;)
yup, you were smiling like a teen in love and you really couldn’t understand why. it’s not that you had a crush on him, right?
“is it drew?” damian asked.
“what?”
“you have this happy smile since this morning and seeing that last night you and drew were car buddies…something might have happened…” he explained to you.
you were quiet for a minute. nothing really happened between you and drew but you couldn’t deny that you enjoyed his company, even if you didn’t have much of a conversation. he was kind and you couldn’t lie, he was hot, maybe too hot for you but aside from that, nothing happened.
before you could say yes or no, drew entered the gym with his teasing smile on his face.
“morning guys” he said smiling at damian and rhea “morning kid” he said smiling a little longer than to you.
rhea was beyond in disbelief “what was that?” she asked drew.
oh no, you thought. she was ready to cause chaos even outside of the company.
“what?” drew asked.
“that little stare at y/n, what was that?” she asked, a little more irritated.
“nothing to worry about, i just said good morning” he wanted to be petty but you knew rhea was a master in that.
“sure…don’t fuck with me drew” she started to get more defensive over you.
“okay can all we please calm down…” you said making them all turn their heads back to you “nothing is happening, can we please just go back to training please?” rhea was hesitant for a moment “please?” but she knew she couldn’t say no to you when you had those puppy eyes.
she didn’t wanna make you uncomfortable but she didn’t like this whole situation between you and drew.
“fine” she turned around and went back exercising with damian.
is she always like that?
drew texted you, making it hard for you not to laugh out loud. you simply nodded at him and he winked at you, making you blush.
two hours later and you were a sweaty mess “i need a shower, maybe two” you joked with damian, agreeing with you.
“i think i’ll rest for a bit…” damian said and you nodded.
“yeah” rhea joined “me too…i’m too tired today, plus we have to be back on the road tomorrow…i wanna sleep in today, y/n?”
“i’ll take a shower and then i’ll decide, probably i will order something to eat…” you smiled.
truth was you didn’t wanna stay in. you had to energy to spend the day in bed so you were probably going to sneak out and visit some places. so when you all left, you were quick to shower and to dress up.
wanna have lunch together? take out sounds nice but i think you would like some company :)
you smiled when drew texted you.
sure, i’ll meet you in the lobby in 30 minutes if that’s ok with you?
you waited for his reply with a little anxiety, so when he told you that it was perfect for him, you started your makeover and found something nice to wear.
you couldn’t lie, your heart was beating fast and faster the moment you approached the lobby.
“here we go” you whispered softly, mostly to yourself.
when you saw him, you couldn’t help but notice how handsome he was. he was a really hot man, you saw him fight almost naked every single week so you were used to it but seeing him all suit up, clean and fresh, did something to you.
“hey kid” he greeted you “you look good” he genuinely smiled at you.
you weren’t used to compliments su you didn’t really know what to say, apart from thank you.
“you don’t look bad either” you teased making him chuckle.
you were kinda surprised when he opened the car door for you. no one ever did anything nice like that - not that you ever dated anyone but being treated nice like this in general made your heart skip a beat.
the restaurant he chose was nice. not too fancy but it was cozy and nice “i hope you like it” he smiled at you.
“it’s really nice drew, thank you” growing up you became shy and more introvert so you didn’t really know how to make long lasting conversations but seeing drew being so happily awkward and shy made you happy.
the first few minutes were pretty awkward, you reading the menu and drew doing the same, deciding what to eat and taking your sweet time with it. you both opted for some fresh pasta and some chicken salad, both wanting to keep it healthy but still enjoying your lunch out.
“how are you y/n?” he gently asked.
“oh, i’m good thank you…what about you? still thinking about your victory at summerslam?” you smiled.
“of course, i will think about that moment for a while now” he chuckled “what about your summerslam?”
“mine was…something” you tried not to make it too awkward but it was like a fresh wound to you, you were still hurting about the betrayal and it will hurt for a while.
“yeah, i can imagine that…do you wanna talk about it?” he asked, fearing he overstepped.
“i…well, i wasn’t really expecting the group to break up like that, i knew there was tension but not that much…you know, they are, were like a family to me” you breathed out “and now damian and rhea are all i have, i can’t let them down you know?” you feared you may have talked too much but with drew’s kindness it came natural to you.
“i’ve been there, betrayals will stay impress in your mind but it will get better eventually…” he smiled at you and you felt more comfortable talking with him.
while eating, he talked about the most stupid things he liked but that made you happy, hearing something new from someone new.
“y/n…” he called, his serious tone more pronounced “can i ask you something? it’s a little personal and you can say no if i make you uncomfortable but i’m just curious…” he asked and you nodded “i’ve heard things…mostly rumors about you…everyone claim to know you but i feel like they don’t even know what they’re talking about” he said and you let him continue “they’ve been talking about you are basically…alone, that you don’t enjoy the other women company, they’ve been talking about how and your family don’t have any connection, how they think it’s your fault…basically a lot of stuff that i’m pretty sure it’s not real…that’s why i wanted to hear it from you, you are the only one who knows the truth…”
you weren’t going to lie but it kinda made you feel bad what your colleagues thought of you.
“i mean…they are not that wrong, i’m not good at making friends, i tried, since i joined wwe but it felt like i wasn’t really welcomed so i decided to stay by myself, at least until i met rhea and damian…and they are quite right about me not being in contact with my family but they don’t know the full story…and if you don’t mind i would like to keep it private for now” it was hard for you talking about your family.
“yes of course, i don’t wanna make you uncomfortable at all, but i thank you for opening up to me, i really appreciate it” he genuinely smiled and you felt like you could probably trust him.
so you ended up lunch with two pieces of cake and fought for who was going to pay. like the gentleman he is, of course, he offered to pay.
“thank you for this amazing lunch drew, i really enjoyed it…it was nice having someone to talk to” you truthfully said once you both got out of his car and he smiled at your genuine words.
“anytime kid” there was a moment after he spoke where you were both silent, not knowing what to do or what to say.
“uhm… i think i’m going to rest for a bit now” you awkwardly signed to the hotel entrance, trying to make him understand that you were about to leave but that you didn’t want to leave him standing right there in front of the glass doors.
“oh yeah, i think i’m going to rest too, so, uhm, thanks for coming with me” he said making you chucked while he got closer to you “i’ll see you on the road” he slowly lowered his head and gave you a gentle kiss on the cheek “take care” he smiled before going back to his room.
now, you were the one who was left standing there in front of the doors.
with your happy face and bright smile, you came back to your bedroom, unbeknownst to you, rhea saw everything from the her hotel room as the window was facing down the entrance.
“oh i’m gonna kick his ass” she said before leaving her room.

All Tied Up | D.M.
Tumblr media
Summary: Drew trusts Y/N to take the reins for the night. 18+.
Happy Monday Night RAW, babes.
Drew McIntyre Masterlist
WWE Masterlist
Taglist: @theworldofotps @smallestsnarkestgirl @magicalbuttertarts @miss-kuki-nz
Drew sighed happily as he sat in the bathtub. The smell of lavender danced under his nose. His sore muscles relaxed in the warm water. His girlfriend massaged all his achy muscles from his job. He could certainly get used to this.
Soft kisses are placed on the sensitive parts of his neck. His head lulls from side to side to give her better access. Any worries he had previously had left his mind. Now, it was just a hot bath with the most beautiful girl in the world.
He turned to look at Y/N. "Ready to tie me up?"
A smile tugged at her lips. "More than anything,"
Drew dried himself off first, then excused himself to the bedroom.
Y/N found it hard to get herself ready. Anticipation ate at her. Butterflies fluttered around in her stomach. This was the first time she had ever done anything like this before. She took a deep breath to calm herself. After researching the internet, she knew she was ready to make this enjoyable for both of them.
With a little more supportive talk, Y/N walks into the bedroom. His eyes immediately drawn to her. A see-through lingerie dress with nothing else on. Drew cursed under his breath. If he was in charge, the dress would already be in shreds on the floor.
"First things first, you won't be seeing anything. Is that okay?" She asked. After rummaging through the nightstand, she pulls out a red silky blindfold.
His mouth drops in shock, and he recovers. "Th-that's fine,"
Y/N makes her way towards him. She places the blindfold over his eyes. To tease him, she starts to kiss him. Her lips lingered on his. A hand ran down his hairy chest and stomach. He moans against her lips when her fingers touch his happy trail. Just like that, her fingers move to the side and don't go any lower. He grunts in frustration.
Drew is led to the bed to avoid falling or injury. He obeys his girlfriend's instructions on where to set himself. When he is in the correct position, his arms and legs are spread out.
Not wanting to use rope, Y/N restrains him with some of his ties. He is compliant in being tied up. She takes a moment to admire her handiwork. Her eyes trail down to his groin.
She has to calm herself when she sees how hard he is. Any thoughts of just taking him are quickly squashed. Her mantra the entire week was to be patient, and she intended to keep it that way.
Drew's breathing is quiet. He wants to hear her every movement.
The bed creaks under them. She straddles his hips but not before sliding the tip of his cock between her wet folds. He tries to buck his hips to be inside of her, but no avail. "Darling, please,"
"Patience," she tsked.
Her lips meet his in a heated kiss. A trail of kisses left on his burning skin from his neck down to his inner thighs. When he feels her hot breath against his cock, he struggles against the binds. Y/N had to bite back her giggle.
"You dare tease me like this when you know I can do the same to you some day?" He asked. His voice is husky. The pent-up man wants nothing more than to rip the binds off and fuck her.
His breath hitches in his throat the moment her tongue slides his length. The moment the tip of his cock disappears in Y/N's mouth he inhales quickly.
Drew starts to pant and grunt as more of him slides in her mouth. One hand placed on his hip to keep from thrusting upwards. Her other hand at the base of his cock. When his tip hits the back of her throat, she stops.
As expected, he fights with the restraints. He grunts as her head bobs up and down on him. Her hand rubbed any part of him she couldn't reach. Short, breathy moans sound like music to her ears.
"Gods, darling, I'm close. I'm-"
Y/N pulls away. Another curse word falls from his lips. The coolness of the room on his wet dick a cruel reminder of the loss of her mouth and hand. He struggles against the binds once more.
She climbs up the bed once again. The tip of his cock finds its way in her folds. Her hips move back and forth. She moaned his name. Her hand plays with her clothed breath while the other plays with her clit. Her hand brushes against him.
"Drew, I am touching myself for you," she informed him. More moans of his name fall from her.
"Please, let me see," he begged. "Describe everything,"
"I imagine it's you. Your hand playing with my breast and pussy. I need you, Drew," she whined.
"Have me. Take what you need," he implored.
Y/N stopped touching herself. Her lingerie is removed. Ever so slowly, she lowers herself on him.
"That's it, darling. Nice and slow," he complimented.
The tip of his cock pushes inside of her. His entire length disappears inside of her without issue. Once fully seated on him, she gives herself a moment for her body to adjust.
Her pace is slow. Hands placed on his hairy chest to steady herself. He moved his hips around. One particular thrust made her moan loudly. Drew smiled to himself. He found her sweet spot.
That moment awoke something in both of them. She rode him as he thrusted upwards. Their rhythm picks up. He moves to hit the sweet spot repeatedly.
With nothing to bury her face in, her moans sound through the whole room. Her head lulled back. Eyes half closed as her orgasm comes closer. The heaviness in her lower stomach almost too much to bear.
They peak at the same time. A sense of euphoria grabs a hold of them. He jerks as his cum fills her up. Her walls clenched around him and milked him for more.
The room is silent, save for the heavy breathing from the pair. She steadies herself before untying him. His hands first so he could remove the blindfold.
"That was the best idea you ever had," he complimented once he removed his blindfold. Drew rubbed his wrists. Next, they rolled around in circles.
Y/N hummed in response. She laid down next to him. Her head lay on his shoulder. The Scotsman pulled her close. His face buried in her hair. Gentle kisses and praises were given to her until she fell into a peaceful sleep.

Featuring: Drew McIntyre x Fem Reader Word Count: 1.5k Warnings: 18+, smut with barely any plot, heavy dom aggression from Drew going to work with that leather strap, but sub reader is so into it and suddenly so am I thanks to this!
Happy reading! Read my other fics here, if you'd like. ✨
Tumblr media
“Never met a woman this excited by a strap.”
Drew’s husky, little laugh touched your skin with a warm breath, his lips to follow as he pressed them to the back of your bare shoulder and down your spine. His soft mustache and beard hairs grazed your skin with those lingering kisses and you trembled a bit from it, but also his teasing because he was such an alluring bastard.
“Never met a lesbian, I assume. You need more friends,” you wearily teased him back, your voice a bit hoarse, and he laughed again. Pulled the brown leather strap around your neck tighter again. You could still breathe but you gasped with a tiny moan. The tighter he pulled, the wetter you got. It was a fact that Drew liked to pretend he was realizing for the first time tonight as he marveled at the pathetic state of you; played with you for hours on end just to see how wet you'd get, how many times you'd cum.
On your knees seemed to be your favorite position to settle into for those heady orgasms that made your back arch, face sink into the pillow, toes dig into his sheets. Drew was on his knees, too, behind you with the end of the strap in his hand as he held it taut like a leash with it acting as a collar around your neck.
This was him giving you a break, he'd just pulled out of your wet warmth that he made drip even wetter after spilling his own cum deep inside. He sat back and studied how your pussy twitched and dribbled with the remnants of your third, juicy orgasm, his first one, so far. Drool stained the cotton pillowcase beneath your lips and you were too blissed out to move to a dry spot. But not enough to talk your shit because he's the one who said he'd whip you into shape with the strap since you “love to run your mouth thinkin’ there won't be consequences.”
“There's that smart arse mouth of yours spoutin’ off again.” Another pull, the leather tugging at your delicate skin and certainly leaving a beautiful bruise for you to sport like your favorite necklace for the next week. You'd hide it with makeup, of course, but damn, if it didn't make the heat between your legs send a warm thrill through your core. Drew obviously enjoyed the sight, the glistening pink of your pussy clenching around nothing and needy for more discipline he was going to give, trust. But first…“Tell me this. Is your boss gonna be judgin’ you for comin’ in late tomorrow mornin’ with bruises on your neck? Aren't you gonna be embarrassed that you'll be talkin’ to him tryin’ ta hide it…but feelin’ me ruin your panties right in front of him? ’Cause there's no way you won't still be leakin’ me when I'm done fillin’ you up tonight, darlin’.”
You couldn't help the pitiful moan the spilled from your lips along with more drool at the visual he just painted in your head, your eyes closed to see it clearly—and to savor the blunt, invasive, and delicious push of his hard, warm dick after he lined it up to your wet, waiting pussy. The way you stretched around him, whined for him, finally taking him to the hilt after craving it for the last fifteen minutes or hour that he made you sit still like his “good, little whore”—that’s what he called you earlier—you thought you'd faint from the pleasure.
You were lightheaded with it, moaning airy pleas and his name with it, and clutching with it at the strap that pinched your throat from the tightness—your pussy clutching him as he rocked his hips back and forth with long thrusts you could feel deep and hear all around you, loud and squishy and sloppy.
Making a mess for him, just like he wanted, his dick buried on your spot that he'd learned well tonight, easily slipping over it as he let his middle fingers slip over your tender, little clit. “I’m…ungh, I'm cumming for you,” you whimpered and wheezed for the fourth time, Drew keeping the strap firm in his grip and on you. Yet your cries spiked into a shivering sob when he made you dizzy, made you squirt and wet his already-slick-with-your-wet, dark, fine hairs of his happy trail, and lower on that v-cut his muscles made on his large body. He spread your sticky mess on himself with his pounding strokes that slapped to your bottom and made it jiggle for him, those strokes getting quicker, and harder to take without a succulent pain in the pit of your belly, the fucking brute. And he didn’t let up, not when the sight of you falling apart again for him was too beautiful to bear.
You heard him groan out with a heavy hand to your bottom to watch it bounce again before he gripped it hard, pumping more of his warm cum into you and holding you steady to take it as you squirmed beneath him. You weren't really trying to go anywhere but the bastard was wedged deep and it hurt too good, yet your writhing did nothing but make him yank the strap again to subdue you, make you snivel with his name again.
“Cut all your cryin’ out, darlin’. You love this. You came to me for this, remember?” Drew reminded you with a grunt as he took his time pulling out and smacked your ass hard again. There was likely a bruise there now, too, but you felt his lips smooth over it with a kiss that he trailed up your back until his mouth brushed your earlobe. Another kiss, his deep voice gentle but the warning behind it not. “Betcha wish you didn’t text me, huh? Too bad…I’m not done with you.”
One more tug of that strap that had no business feeling so seductive and snug on your sore neck. Drew had no business making you lose your mind with it and his thick dick that still pulsed against you. You had no business being in his hotel room when you had work early the next day.
Your boss was going to kill you if you were late. Hell, he'd probably kill you if he knew who you were with because he more or less forbade Drew from “sniffin’ after you,” but of course Drew wasn't going to honor that because he was a stubborn prick who didn't get along with him.
That's why your boss pulled you aside backstage a couple weeks ago and told you in hushed yet stern words, “He's not a guy you wanna get mixed up with. Besides, it's not a good look for anyone on my team involvin’ themselves in workplace hook-ups. Use a datin’ app or something.”
You crossed your arms over your chest then and told him, “I'm not your daughter. I’m your assistant. And a grown ass woman. I can take care of myself and I don't appreciate the insinuation that I can't control myself, either.”
He put his hands up with a grimace and tried to rephrase his concern. “Listen. You're a beautiful woman. And a smart woman. You can do better than that fuckin’ asshole.”
You smirked a bit because he was right about that. Drew was an asshole, mean, entitled, sarcastic, and violent. But he was also gorgeous, enticing, charming, and dangerous in all the ways that made you wet...
Your pussy gushed with a thick, white line of his cum as you collapsed onto your stomach, breathing hard as you felt it seep through your folds and pool at your clit before his fat fingertips played in his and your mess with slow swirls until you rose your tired hips to meet more of his touch he started to pull away.
“Aht, aht, settle down,” Drew sounded out behind you before you felt a harsh pull around your neck, forcing you to scramble back onto your knees with a deep, greedy rasp of air.
“Be fucking careful, asshole,” you yelped in a weak voice from him nearly choking you out, but you could feel and he could see your pussy fluttering from it.
And he wasn't done pulling, making you sit up straight so his free hand could roam the swells of your body, his big palms cupping your breasts with a light squeeze that made you bite your lip as he kissed your cheek and uttered, “Oh, now you want me to be careful? You should be careful with that mouth or I'll tell your stupid boss all about this.”
Drew shoved you back down, cheek first into the pillow, his fingers in your hair to pin you there until he suddenly released you to grab his phone from the nightstand. You wanted to believe he was checking the time, it had to be at least 2 a.m., but when you felt the strap go taut again with a yank, heard a camera snap, and saw a flash of light that blinded you for a second, you jerked on the bed to glare at him and spit, “What the hell are you doing?!”
“You know what? I'll tell him now.” Drew was saying at the same time, his husky laugh ringing out and etching his handsome face with a demented smile as his thumb tapped on his phone. “I'm sure Punk is gonna get a real kick outta this.”
. . .
Defiance
Thanks for reading! Idk who to tag because I don't ever write for Drew and probably won't again, lol. I was just inspired by that gif set because lawd......🥵

BACK TO YOU
Drew McIntyre
- First ever post! Fem pov, cursing, may be a few mistakes I've glossed over, I've had part of this story saved in my notes for a long while but after this week's raw I HAD to continue it. ( Drew McIntyre my beloved )
Tumblr media
You had been dodging him for weeks - literal weeks - and that didn't stop him from constantly trying to get in front of you, larger than life, with a smirk that said he knew exactly how much he was throwing you off your game. Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath. That Drew McIntyre. You didn’t think you’d done that much to get on his radar. Sure, you were killing it by climbing the ranks, match after match, win after win. Your face was starting to plaster itself on posters, advertisements, and highlight reels. People were noticing you. But Drew McIntyre noticing you? That felt...big. And honestly, a little alarming. At first, you thought it was jealousy. Maybe he didn’t like the attention you were getting. Maybe your growing momentum annoyed him. But no, he’d made it clear (in the most frustratingly confident way possible) that wasn’t the case. He wasn’t mad about your rise. Hell, he was happy for you. Said he was proud of what you were doing. The problem, according to him, was that you were doing it alone. He thought you had potential - more than potential. He thought you were destined for greatness, the kind of greatness that came from being at his side. He wanted to mentor you, partner with you, and create an alliance. He claimed you. He just wished, you know, that circumstances were a little different. Like, maybe you should be killing it with him. That’s right. Drew McIntyre wanted to team up. Which, to be fair, sounded great on paper….if he wasn’t embroiled in every ounce of drama under the sun. The Bloodline? Check. CM Punk? Check. Random chaos at every turn? Double check. But you? You weren’t a team player. Never had been. You were a lone wolf from day one. Sure, there’d been a tag match or two along the way ( obligatory stuff, for the views ) but alliances? Long-term partnerships? Not your style. You thrived on independence. Did your own thing, earned your own victories, made your own name. And Drew, frustratingly enough, respected that about you. Admired it, even. He just thought, “Hey, maybe you could be even greater with me.” I mean, he even called you the prodigal one ( second to him ).
But every week, you shut him down. Again. And again. And again. At first, it was the baggage he had...his drama-filled life wasn’t exactly appealing. But then you realized the truth - you loved the chase. Sure, you still preferred working alone, but this back-and-forth? The tension? The game? It was intoxicating. Drew might’ve been dead serious, but you? You were having fun. Not that he didn’t get under your skin every now and then. You still remember the day it all started. The Royal Rumble was on the horizon, and you were determined. This was your moment, your shot. The crowd was behind you, the energy electric. And then…his music hit.
Drew McIntyre.
He walked down the aisle, microphone in hand, head dipped low. His shadow stretched across the ramp and you could imagine the smirk on his features before you even saw it. He climbed into the ring swiftly, his towering frame making you feel so very small.
“I don’t believe we’ve been formally introduced,” he said, extending a hand like this was some kind of networking event. “Drew. Drew McIntyre.”
You raised the mic, ready to respond, but nothing came out. You weren’t exactly sure why he, of all people, had decided to interrupt you. You’d never crossed paths before. Not backstage. Not in the ring. Not even a sideways glance.
“Oh, sorry.” Drew took a mockingly apologetic step back, his smirk widening. “You’re confused, yeah? Don’t worry, I get ahead of myself sometimes. Jump right in without explaining. Allow me to fix that.” You stood there, rooted to the spot, the microphone still in your hand but forgotten as Drew stared at you. The crowd was eating it up, cheers ringing through the arena, wondering how this would play out with you two strangers, but you barely noticed. All you could focus on was Drew McIntyre. “You’ve been making waves, aye?” Drew began, pacing the ring in front of you. “Winning matches, catching the eye of management, getting the crowd behind you. I mean, look at them!” He swept a hand toward the audience, who instinctively erupted into another cheer, and you felt your cheeks flush despite yourself. “They love you. They’re invested in your story. They see what I see.”
Your brow furrowed slightly at that last line, your brain catching up with his words. What did he see?
Drew stopped pacing, turning to face you fully now. He tilted his head, a knowing smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. “Still no words, eh? That’s alright. I like a good listener. But let me make one thing crystal clear-” He stepped closer, and the air between you seemed to charge with something unidentifiable. “I’m not out here to take anything from you. I’m not out here to dim your spotlight or put you in your place, as they say.” His smirk turned almost wolfish, “I’m out here because I see potential in you. Potential that’s being squandered.”
The crowd gasped, and you blinked, finally snapping out of your daze. Squandered? Did he just say squandered? Your lips parted, and you raised your mic, but Drew placed his hand on it, pushing it down before you could speak.
“Ah, let me finish, please,” he said it like he wasn’t really asking. “I’m not saying you’re not doing well. Quite the opposite, actually. You’re thriving. But you’re thriving alone. And while I respect the whole lone wolf schtick, believe me, I’ve been there, I can’t help but wonder…” He leaned in slightly, a breath away from you. “How much further could you go with someone like me by your side?”
Your mind raced, replaying everything he’d said up until this point, and for a brief moment, you found yourself considering it. But then you shook your head slightly, the tiniest movement, and Drew noticed. Of course, he noticed.
He straightened up, chuckling softly, the sound low and almost… amused? “Ah, I see,” he said, taking a step back, giving you space. “You’re skeptical. That’s fair. I’d be the same in your shoes. But let me ask you this.” He gestured toward the titantron, where a montage of your highlights began to play, your most recent victories. “Is this enough for you? Are you satisfied with being good when you could be great?”
Immediately, you raised your mic, finally finding your voice. “Why do you care?” you asked, “What’s in it for you, Drew?”
He grinned at that, a genuine, almost boyish grin that took you by surprise. “Now that is a good question,” he said, nodding in approval. “And the answer is simple. I care because I’ve been where you are. I’ve walked this path, and I’ve seen what happens when you try to do it all on your own. I don’t want to see you make the same mistakes I did.”
Suddenly, you felt a flicker of something other than confusion. Was it….understanding? No, you shook the thought away. You weren’t about to fall for his charm or his words. “Thanks for the advice,” you said finally, “but I’ve been doing just fine on my own. And I don’t need anyone, especially not you, to tell me how to succeed.”
Drew chuckled again, this time with a hint of frustration, and for a moment, you thought he might press the issue. But instead, he took another step back, raising his hands in mock surrender. “Alright then,” he said, “But don’t say I didn’t offer you soon enough.” With that, he turned and exited the ring, his music hitting again as he walked back up the ramp. But before he disappeared backstage, he glanced over his shoulder, his piercing blue eyes meeting yours one last time. At that moment, you knew this wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.
Week after week, it was the same routine. Drew McIntyre would just happen to bump into you, like clockwork. Oh, and he’d always play it off as a complete accident too. “Oh, didn’t see you there!” Like he wasn’t a six-foot-five wall of Scottish muscle with the stealth of a freight train. And then, with that disarming grin, he’d launch into some casual small talk. “How’s your day been?” he’d ask, all innocently, as if he hadn’t been strategically timing these “accidental” run-ins like he was plotting a heist. You weren’t stupid. You knew the guy had probably analyzed your whole routine like it was game tape. He seemed to have mapped out your water breaks, gym sessions, and post-match cooldowns just to stage these little encounters. And the worst part? It was kind of working. Not that you’d let him know that.
You almost tripped over yourself completely when the staff asked you to join commentary as a special guest one night. It sounded simple enough - sit down, watch some matches, sprinkle in your witty insights, maybe drop a one-liner or two. Easy! But no one bothered to mention who was lined up for a match that night.
Drew McIntyre. Of fucking course.
The moment his music hit, your once bubbly and confident persona took a nosedive. You went from charming and talkative to awkward and painfully aware of the walking hurricane now striding down the ramp. And Drew? He noticed. He noticed everything. Mid-match, as he laid waste to his poor opponent, Seth Rollins, he still found time to torment you. After slamming the man into the mat with the kind of force that made the entire ring rattle, Drew would glance your way. Sometimes he’d wave, like you were just an old friend in the crowd. Other times, he’d tilt his head at you, as if he were trying to crack open your skull and figure you out.
And you? Your attempts to play it cool were failing spectacularly. A simple question from the loveable Micheal Cole - “What do you think of Drew’s strategy here?” - felt like a trap. What were you supposed to say? “Oh, yeah, he’s terrifyingly good at his job, but can he stop staring at me for like five seconds?” Yeah, that wouldn’t fly. You really thought the torture was over when Drew had his win, did his signature post-match victory flex, and was presumably on his way to the locker room. But that wasn't the end of the story. Nope, you were wrong. So, so wrong. It was Drew McIntyre. And Drew McIntyre isn’t the kind of guy to let things lie when there’s an opportunity to stir the pot. You still remember how your heart practically jumped into your throat when he slipped out of the ring. His massive frame was drenched in sweat, his chest heaving from the match, but instead of heading for the ramp, he made a beeline for, you guessed it, the commentary table. Your first instinct? Lean back. Your second? Glare daggers at him. But the man was unfazed. No, he actually thrived off your discomfort.
With deliberate slowness, he placed a single hand on the table, leaning over just enough to close the gap between you. The sweat dripping from his brow only made him look more menacing. His eyes locked onto yours, and for a moment, it was like time froze. No words, no smirk, no witty quip. Just that silent, piercing stare. You gripped the armrests of your chair like they were the only thing keeping you tethered to reality, refusing to flinch. It was a standoff, a painfully long one. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Drew straightened up, with the tiniest smirk tugging at his lips as if to say, "Alright, you win this round." And then, just like that, he turned and sauntered off, leaving you to exhale the breath you didn’t even realize you’d been holding in your throat.
You thought this whole cat-and-mouse game with Drew McIntyre would stay fun, but there were times when things started to heat up. And not the kind of heat that gets the crowd going, either. No, it was something else. Something a little too intense. You couldn’t tell if that made the chase more thrilling or just downright nerve-wracking. Probably both. Definitely both.
You remember one night in particular. Oh, you remember it very well.
“You’re so damn selfish.”
The words hit you like a slap. You’d just walked off the heels of a brutal match, your body aching and your mind replaying every hit you’d taken, embarrassing you. The last thing you expected, or wanted, was Drew standing there, waiting for you like some storm cloud ready to burst. His tone wasn’t playful, not cocky or teasing like usual. It was sharp. Raw. A little too real. You stopped in your tracks, staring up at the ceiling like you were asking whatever the hell was above in the heavens for divine intervention. Anything to avoid meeting his gaze. Maybe if you prayed hard enough, he’d just….evaporate. ( Spoiler alert! he didn’t! ) When you finally looked forward, your heart sank faster than a wrestler getting powerbombed. Drew was right in front of you, his shadow swallowing you whole. You’d think by now, after all the weeks of close encounters, you’d be used to his suffocating presence.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you.” His voice was low as he jabbed a finger between you and himself. It wasn’t a request. It wasn’t even a demand. It was an order. And for the first time in this little game of yours, you weren’t entirely sure you wanted to play anymore.
Oh, who were you kidding? Of course you wanted to keep playing.
. . .
In reality, your hypocrisy knew no bounds. You’d sworn to steer clear of Drew’s mess, to avoid his drama like it was a tag team match you weren’t booked for. Yet, another faithful night, you perched yourself on one of those battered backstage crates, legs dangling like some carefree kid at summer camp, transfixed as hell. And what had your attention? One of his promos. Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre, all squaring off in a verbal slugfest that somehow felt more violent than most actual matches. Drew was holding his ground, trading barbs like a man with nothing to lose and everything to prove. It was riveting, okay? You hated to admit it, but for those few minutes, you might as well have been just another fan sitting in the expensive seats with merch and popcorn.
“God, he’s insane-” you muttered to yourself, unable to tear your eyes away from the screen. Insane was probably an understatement. The man seemed to collect enemies like other people collected Funko Pops. And you hated that you…liked it. Drew wasn’t just playing chess; he was flipping the board over, setting the pieces on fire, and daring everyone else to deal with it. The promo ended with Drew walking off, his mic-drop moment lingering in the air like smoke after The American Nightmare’s three pyro displays. He stormed down the aisle and into the backstage area. And then, like fate ( or mischief ) had decided to pull a fast one, his eyes landed on you. You didn’t flinch. Instead, you smiled, all child-like.
“If I didn’t know any better,” you drawled, leaning back against the wall, “I’d say you’re all for the drama.” You tilted your head, sizing him up with the kind of playful curiosity that was half a tease and half a challenge. “Do you, like, keep a checklist of everyone in the locker room you’ve yet to piss off? Or is it more of a spin-the-wheel situation?”
Drew stopped in his tracks, his expression shifting from confusion to amusement so fast it was almost dizzying. He cocked an eyebrow, that trademark smirk creeping across his face. “Oh, I don’t need a checklist,” he shot back, his Scottish brogue dripping with sarcasm. “It’s more of an art form, really. You wouldn’t understand. I mean, you would if you, y'know - tagged along.”
You let out a soft laugh, kicking your feet a little for emphasis. “An art form? Please. You’re like a walking soap opera, McIntyre. And the worst part is, you know it.”
“And yet,” He said, his voice dropping just enough to make you lean in slightly, “you’re watching. So pray tell, do you enjoy the show?”
You leaned forward, resting your elbows on your knees as you met his gaze. “Don’t get it twisted, McIntyre. I like watching you from afar. But, I don't want front-row seats to your circus shit.”
He studied you for a moment, his smirk softening into something almost thoughtful. “Fair enough,” he said finally, taking a step back. “But if you ever change your mind…” He let the offer hang in the air before turning and walking away.
You watched him go, the corner of your mouth quirking upward despite yourself. Front-row seats? Not a chance. But sneaking a peek every now and then? Maybe.
. . .
You told yourself you had bigger things to focus on - mainly the Royal Rumble, which was practically breathing down your neck. All the fans were counting on your win. With only a week left, you needed laser focus. To your surprise, Drew seemed to understand that. Or at least, he pretended to. He backed off. No sudden interruptions, no cryptic stares from across the room, no impromptu speeches about your "wasted potential." And yet….you couldn’t help but feel off with that. Where was the usual chaos? The aggravating, borderline charming mind games from the man who appeared to be some kind of Scottish God? You tried to ignore the faint pang of disappointment every time you walked backstage, expecting him to appear, only to find yourself alone. Well, almost alone...because occasionally, Drew would stroll by, smirk in your direction like he knew something you didn’t, and then kept walking. And yeah, maybe that smirk made your pulse do something it absolutely shouldn’t. But you didn’t have time for that. No. No. No. Head down, full steam ahead. Unfortunately, focusing on the Rumble wasn’t as easy as it sounded. Case in point - being saddled with a random match against Liv Morgan. You weren’t exactly thrilled. Liv wasn’t your favorite person, but you respected her...a little. Okay, maybe barely. But she didn’t make it easy, with her need to talk and talk and talk and- whatever. Still, you showed up. That’s what you did. Match after match, day after day, even the ones you didn’t ask for. You stepped into the ring with Liv, and from the get-go, she was already running her mouth like her paycheck depended on it.
“You’re all alone,” she sneered, her long blonde hair swishing with that irritating laugh of hers echoing throughout the arena.
You couldn’t help it but you laughed. Not loud, not big, just a dry little chuckle under your breath. “Yeah? I work alone,” you shot back, deadpan.
Liv, ever dramatic, planted a hand on her hip and draped her other arm around Raquel Rodriguez’s shoulders, practically standing on her toes to reach her. The visual was almost enough to make you roll your eyes into the day of the royal rumble. “It’s good to have friends, you know?” Liv said, her tone syrupy sweet in the most nauseating way possible.
And that’s when you nearly facepalmed. This again? Was this your thing now? Everyone acting like your lack of alliances was some sort of existential crisis?
“Liv, don’t even-” you started, already knowing where this was going.
“Oh, no, no,” she cut you off, raising a hand. “I’m not saying you should come to my side. Ew. That’s frankly disgusting to even think about.” Her face twisted into a mock grimace before snapping back into her sassy smile. “What I am saying is that you should have someone watching your back. Someone to...I don’t know...back you up in the Rumble? I’m just warning you because I’m nice like that.”
You blinked at her, completely unimpressed. “Oh, you’re nice,” you said flatly. “That’s what this is?”
“Exactly!” Liv chirped.
For a second, you considered responding. Maybe calling her out on the thinly veiled condescension or pointing out how ridiculous her "advice" was. But then you decided it wasn’t worth the energy. Instead, you smirked, tilted your head, and let her dig her own hole. Because if there was one thing Liv Morgan hated, it was being ignored. And if she wanted to make an example out of you, she was about to learn the hard way. Hell everyone was going to learn at the rumble, you'd make sure of it.
. . .
You didn’t think much about Liv’s little “helpful” comments at first, I mean, why would you? But as the Royal Rumble loomed closer, something shifted. Tensions backstage were clear, crackling in the air like a thunderstorm. Everyone had the same goal - to win, to headline WrestleMania, to make themselves unforgettable! You were still focused on taking it all for yourself, but you’d be lying if you said the growing tension didn’t throw you off a little. The stink eye became a constant routine. Other women in the locker room were eyeing you like you were nothing more than a punching bag. You weren't stupid, you knew it wasn’t personal, ( okay, maybe it was personal ), but you also figured you weren’t the only one getting this treatment. Survival mode was kicking in for everyone, and apparently, giving dirty looks was a stress-relief hobby for half the roster. Still, you tried to brush it off, keeping your head down as you made your way through the halls. You were lost in your own thoughts, mapping out strategies and mentally preparing yourself for the chaos of the Rumble, when something, or someone, caught your attention. At the end of the hallway, there he was. Drew McIntyre, standing by one of the equipment crates, adjusting his gear. You stopped dead in your tracks, your stomach doing a weird little flip before you could help it. Damn it. Why did he always look like he’d stepped straight out of an action movie? His broad shoulders, his bare back…Nope. Nope. No. Stop staring. You swallowed hard, glancing away as if that could erase the fact you’d been ogling him for far longer than you cared to admit. But instead of turning around and walking away like you probably should have, you found your feet moving toward him. It wasn’t until you were just a few steps behind him that you realized you hadn’t really thought this through. What were you even going to say? You didn’t have a plan...you just... moved.
Still, you stood there, forcing yourself to speak. “You’ve been quiet lately,” you said, the words coming out more casual than you felt. Like you both were good buddies-
Drew straightened, glancing over his shoulder. When his gaze locked onto yours, his lips curved into that maddeningly confident smirk, the one that made you feel……well, something you didn’t want to think about too much. He turned fully to face you now, crossing his arms over his chest, making himself look bigger than he actually was. “Quiet?” he repeated, amused. “Didn’t realize you were keeping tabs on me.”
You blinked, taken aback by how easily he flipped the script. “I’m not,” you said quickly, though the slight defensive high pitched edge in your voice probably wasn’t helping your case. “I just…noticed something, that's all. You’re usually popping up everywhere, throwing your two cents in, but now? Silence.”
Drew tilted his head, his smirk softening. “Well,” he said after a moment, “I figured I’d give you some space. You’ve got a lot on your plate, don’t you? The Rumble, the spotlight….proving to everyone you can do it all on your own.” His eyes twinkled with mischief, as if he knew he was poking at a sore spot.
You narrowed your eyes at him, crossing your arms as well. “I can handle it.”
“Of course you can! I know you can,” he said smoothly, his tone so infuriatingly agreeable that it almost sounded patronizing. “But handling it doesn’t mean you have to do it alone."
And there it was...the classic Drew McIntyre pitch. You should’ve seen it coming. You had no idea why you even bothered approaching him in the first place, but now that you had, you weren’t about to let him turn this into another “team up with me” speech.
“I’ve been doing just fine on my own,” you said firmly, refusing to let him see the cracks in your armor. “And I’ll win the Rumble the same way. Besides you've got your own damn rumble to worry about.”
Drew chuckled softly, shaking his head like you were missing some inside joke. “We’ll see,” he said simply. Then he leaned in just slightly, his voice dropping low enough to send an uninvited shiver down your spine, his beard pricking your forehead. “Just don’t forget, I never play quiet for long.”
With that, he brushed past you, his shoulder grazing yours, just barely, but even that slight contact was enough to make you stumble, caught off guard by how ridiculously solid he was. You steadied yourself quickly, cheeks heating up as you glared after him. He didn’t look back. He just kept walking, all broad shoulders and confidence. You stood there for a moment, staring at him until he was gone, your mind a tangled mess of something jittering. Fuck him and his promises.
. . .
You dragged yourself out of those memories - Drew, the lead-up to the Royal Rumble, the side-eyes and whispers in the women’s locker room because none of that mattered. Not anymore. Because you were there. At the Royal Rumble. And what were you doing? Sitting backstage, watching the minutes tick by, mentally preparing for the war.
You sat further back from the rest of the women, away from the hushed voices and glares being thrown in your direction. You didn’t need to hear them to know exactly what they’re saying, how you were all talk, how you didn’t take teamwork seriously, how you though you were better than everyone else. You scoffed, rolling your eyes as if that could physically swat away their nonsense. Let them talk. Let them whisper and scheme and convince themselves that you aren’t everything you say you are. You specifically made sure to catch Liv Morgan’s eye and flash her a glare nasty enough to slice through steel. She got the message and she turned away.
Still, you sat there, watching people pass by, your mind unusually…..blank. Which was weird. Your brain was never blank. Maybe you were just focused? Too focused! Yeah, let’s go with that. Not nerves. Definitely not nerves. You rarely ever get nervous. You ran your fingers through your hair and shut your eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. And then, just as you started to settle, you heard footsteps stop directly in front of you. You groaned, already preparing to shut down whoever thought that now was the perfect time to bother you. With an irritated sigh, you opened your eyes, ready to tell them exactly where they could shove their bad timing only to immediately lose your momentum the second you saw who was standing in front of you.
Drew. Of course it was him.
You leaned back instinctively as he loomed over you, his presence heavy even without a single word being spoken. “Drew…” You sighed, shifting under his stare. “Of all days, please. Not today.”
Silence.
You narrowed your eyes. “Drew?”
Nothing.
You knew this man loved his dramatic pauses, but this was excessive even for him.
“Drew, c’mon-”
And then he moved.
Instead of answering, he dropped down into a crouch, leveling himself with you, his face at eye level with yours. You immediately tensed. Fuck him. He knows exactly what he’s doing.
“Fucking what?” you snapped.
Drew tilted his head slightly, considering you for a moment before finally - finally - speaking. “You ready for this?”And just like that, something in your chest tightened. Because for the first time tonight, someone wasn't doubting you. He wasn't questioning whether you’ll crack, whether you’ll fold under the pressure. He wasn't treating you like some wildcard that’s bound to fall apart. No. He was just asking.
And somehow, that made….a difference for you.
Your instinct was to scoff, to roll your eyes and hit him with something sarcastic, but for some reason, you didn’t. Maybe it’s the way he’s looking at you…calmly. No smirk, no teasing, no hidden agenda. Just Drew, crouched in front of you like you’re the only thing in the world worth focusing on right now.
You exhaled slowly, “You think I’m not?”
Drew let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. “Didn’t say that.” His voice was steady, “But I also know that no matter how ready you think you are, the Rumble changes people.”
You frowned. “That supposed to be a warning?”
“More like a fact,” he said simply, resting his forearms on his knees. “You go in there with a plan, thinking you’ve got it all mapped out, and then-” he snapped his fingers,“-chaos hits. People you trust? Gone in an instant. People you never expected? Suddenly your biggest problem. It’s a different kind of fight. You don’t just have to be good, you have to be smarter than the twenty-nine other people trying to rip your head off.”
You didn’t miss the way his gaze sharpened, the subtle way his voice drops, as if he was speaking from experience. Of course he was. Drew’s been in that ring before, he’s felt that pressure, survived it.
And you'll get to watch him in there that night too.
You shifted in your seat, eyes narrowing slightly. “So what? You come here to give me a motivational speech? Because if that’s the case, you can go ahead and just-”
“I came here to remind you that…whatever happens, you don’t have to do it alone anymore.”
There it was. The pitch. Again. You knew it was coming, and yet, something about the way he said it now makes it oddly inviting.
Drew watched your reaction, then huffed a quiet laugh. “Relax, I’m not asking you to be my tag partner and braid each other’s hair. I’m just saying….when you’re in that ring, when the numbers start to stack against you, remember that not everyone in there wants to see you fail.”
That shouldn’t have hit as hard as it did.
You shifted your gaze away, inhaling deeply through your nose. You didn’t do partnerships. You didn’t rely on people. And yet…You glanced back at him. He was watching you, unreadable as ever, but there was something to his expression, something you weren't sure what to do with.
So you did what you did best. You deflected. “You getting soft on me, McIntyre?”
Drew snorted, standing back up to his full, ridiculously tall height. “Not a chance,” he said, looking down at you. Then, after a pause, he adds, “Just….don’t be stupid in there.”
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving you sitting there, stuck in your mind. That was….new. A little too genuine, a little too caring coming from Drew. You weren’t sure what to make of it. You clenched your head. Whatever that was, it couldn’t ( wouldn’t ) be a distraction. Not tonight. You had a Rumble to win.
. . .
The roar of the crowd yanks you back to reality, shaking you out of the daze of embarrassment . The match is still going, the ring still packed with women clawing for their shot at glory. And you? You’re sitting on the cold, unforgiving floor outside the ring, pathetically perched against the apron like some kind of afterthought. And now, the questions start creeping in. How the hell do you come back from this? Maybe you should’ve played nicer, built bridges instead of burning them. Maybe if you’d actually given a damn about those forced tag teams, you wouldn’t have been easy pickings, ganged up on. Maybe, just maybe, you were never meant for this level of the game. Because right now, you feel like a joke.
You bite down on your lip, then wince at the sharp sting. You touch it and when you pull your fingers away, there’s blood. Great. Perfect. Like you needed another reminder of how thoroughly you got your ass handed to you.
With a sharp exhale, you slam your fist against the floor and tilt your head back, staring at the ceiling as tears well up in your eyes. It’s stupid. You know it’s stupid. This business is ruthless. Not everyone is going to make it, not everyone is going to be liked, and success isn’t guaranteed. But knowing that doesn’t make this sting any less. The noise of the match continues, bodies slamming, the crowd gasping, the referee shouting. You should still be in there. Then the crowd erupts, the volume suddenly loud as ever. Another elimination, maybe? Some huge moment you’re missing?
You lower your gaze, and - oh. Your stomach drops. Because striding down the aisle, eyes locked onto you, is Drew McIntyre.
You clench the edge of the apron, forcing yourself to stand despite the ache in your limbs. But the second you put weight on them, pain shoots through your body, and you sink right back down. “Get the fuck out of here." The words come out sharper than intended, but you don’t care. You glare up at him. Drew. He just stands there. Watching. Unmoving. "Are you kidding me?" you snap, "Go."
Drew blinks. Doesn't move.
Your patience, already thin, snaps again. "Go, Drew!"
Nothing. No irritation, no amusement, no snide remark. Just…..silence. And then - he moves.
You stiffen as he crouches down, his massive frame suddenly close, close enough that you can feel the heat radiating off of him. His expression is unreadable, which is somehow worse than if he were gloating. Then, without a word, he reaches out. You flinch instinctively, your body tensing, but he doesn’t pull away. Instead, his rough thumb drags over your split lip, smearing away the blood.
Your breath hitches. The touch is gentle. Too gentle. Especially for someone like Drew. Your chest rises and falls rapidly as you stare at him, your mind scrambling for something, anything, to say. But he just watches you, as if waiting.
For what? you don’t know. And that? That excites you again. Just like it did when this whole game started. Although, it didn't feel like a game anymore.
Your eyes flutter as his hand shifts, trailing from your lip to the side of your face. His palm is warm, like it belongs to someone who’s always been there, always should be there. And somehow, against every stubborn instinct in your body, you find yourself leaning into it. A shaky sigh slips past your lips before you can stop it. You shouldn’t be doing this. You should be pushing him away, snapping something sharp and cutting, reminding him that you don’t need comfort, that you don’t want it. But instead, you just… sink into the moment. Like this is natural. Like this is allowed. And, God help you, it feels that way.
“Drew,” you breathe, the word slipping out before you can stop it. Before you can second-guess it. His thumb stills against your cheek, but he doesn’t pull away. He’s waiting. He knows. “Please?”
And that single word? It’s not just a plea. It’s a confirmation. A surrender of acceptance. Of him. Of this. Of whatever the hell has been building between you both, thick in the air, woven into every lingering glance, every sharp exchange, every time he’s looked at you like he’s just waiting for you to see it. And now you do.
And God, the relief of it, of finally stopping, of finally letting yourself go, hits harder than a punch to the gut. You exhale shakily, your body relaxing just slightly against his touch, and Drew’s fingers curl just the tiniest bit against your skin, like he’s grounding himself in this moment too. For the first time, you don’t treat it like a game, don’t pretend you’re still running. Because you’re not.
You can’t.

Afternoon sun streamed through the windows of your living room, casting a warm glow over the sleek, modern décor that you and Rafe had carefully chosen together. The space was quiet, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning and the occasional distant chirp of birds outside. You were alone-well, almost alone-getting ready to film a special “Secret Beauty” video for Vogue.
You’d been thrilled when the invitation came through. As an actor, you were used to being in front of the camera, but this was different. This was personal, an opportunity to share a side of yourself that fans rarely got to see. And doing it in the comfort of the home you shared with Rafe made it even more special.
The crew had sent over the necessary equipment the day before, but you’d opted to set everything up yourself. It felt more intimate that way, just you and the camera. You’d arranged a small vanity area in the corner of the living room, where the light was best. Your collection of beauty products, everything from skincare to makeup was neatly laid out in front of you.
You did a quick check to make sure the camera was positioned correctly, framing the scene just as you wanted. Satisfied, you hit record, flashing a bright smile at the lens.
“Hi, everyone! I’m Y/n Cameron, and welcome to my Vogue Secret Beauty video. Today, I’m going to be sharing my everyday beauty routine with you all. This is what I do to keep my skin looking fresh and my makeup natural, especially when I’m off set or just hanging out at home.”
You reached for the first product on your vanity, a gentle cleanser. “So, I always start with a good cleanse. It’s really important to make sure your skin is clean before you do anything else. I’ve been using this cleanser for a while now, it’s super gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin.”
As you explained, you began applying the cleanser, massaging it into your skin with gentle, circular motions. “I usually spend about a minute doing this, making sure I get every part of my face.”
Once you were satisfied, you reached for a soft towel, patting your face dry. “Next up is toner. This one’s great because it helps balance my skin’s pH and preps it for the rest of my routine. I just put a few drops on a cotton pad and gently sweep it across my face.”
You demonstrated, moving the cotton pad across your skin with care. “It’s really refreshing and makes my skin feel super smooth.”
You paused, letting the toner absorb, and then reached for your favorite serum. “Okay, so this is one of my must-haves. It’s a vitamin C serum that brightens my skin and helps with any dark spots. I just take a few drops and press it into my skin, focusing on areas that need a little extra love.”
As you applied the serum, you glanced at the camera, flashing a playful smile. “Rafe actually loves this stuff too, even though he won’t admit it.”
You laughed softly at the thought, your mind wandering to your husband. He was out at the moment, running some errands, but you knew he’d be back soon. Knowing Rafe, there was a good chance he’d come back while you were still filming, which could make for an interesting and probably hilarious outtake.
“Alright, now that the serum is on, I’m going to follow up with my moisturizer,” you continued, reaching for the jar. “This is super important, especially after applying a serum. It locks in all that goodness and keeps your skin hydrated.”
You scooped out a small amount of the moisturizer and began applying it in gentle upward strokes. “I like to use something lightweight during the day, so it doesn’t feel too heavy under makeup.”
You were just finishing up with the moisturizer when you heard the faint sound of the front door opening and closing. Your heart skipped a beat as you realized Rafe must be back. You kept filming, wondering if he’d notice you were in the middle of something.
Just as you were about to reach for your eye cream, you heard his voice from the hallway. “Babe? I’m back! You won’t believe the traffic out there—”
He appeared in the doorway, stopping short when he saw the camera. His eyes widened slightly in surprise, and then a slow grin spread across his face.
“Am I interrupting something?” Rafe asked, clearly amused.
You couldn’t help but laugh, turning to face him. “Just a little. I’m filming my Vogue beauty routine.”
Rafe’s grin widened as he walked over, leaning against the doorframe. “Oh, so this is the famous ‘Secret Beauty’ routine? I’ve been dying to know what goes into it.”
“Really?” you teased, raising an eyebrow. “You already know most of it. You’ve borrowed half these products at some point.”
He chuckled, moving closer to inspect the array of products on the vanity. “I might have. You’ve got good taste, what can I say?”
You shook your head, still smiling. “Well, since you’re here, do you want to help me with the rest of it? The viewers might enjoy a little guest appearance.”
Rafe looked at the camera, then back at you, feigning a thoughtful expression. “Hmm, I don’t know. Do I have to do anything?”
“Not really,” you said, reaching for your eye cream. “Just look pretty and maybe pass me a couple of things.”
He laughed at that, pulling up a chair next to you. “Alright, I think I can manage that.”
You grinned at the camera, happy to have Rafe by your side. “So, where were we? Oh, right-eye cream. This is essential, especially on days when I haven’t had enough sleep. Just a tiny bit under each eye to help with puffiness and dark circles.”
You dabbed the cream under your eyes as you explained. Rafe watched with interest, occasionally glancing at the camera as if to check if he was doing it right.
“And now,” you said, setting the eye cream down, “we’re moving on to the makeup. I like to keep it light and natural, especially when I’m just hanging out at home.”
Rafe reached for the foundation, holding it up like a game show host presenting a prize. “This is the one, right?”
You laughed, taking it from him. “Yep, that’s the one. It’s really lightweight and gives just enough coverage without feeling heavy.”
As you applied the foundation, Rafe watched, leaning in occasionally to make funny faces at the camera behind your back, which you noticed only through the camera’s reflection. You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t help laughing.
“Okay, now for some concealer,” you said, reaching for the small tube. “This just goes on any spots that need a little extra coverage.”
Rafe nodded sagely, as if he were learning some deep, important secret. “You know, I’ve got a spot right here,” he said, pointing to a non-existent blemish on his cheek.
You playfully pushed him away. “Very funny.”
“Hey, I’m just trying to learn,” he protested with a grin.
“Sure you are,” you said, blending in the concealer. “Alright, now for a bit of bronzer to warm up the face.”
Rafe picked up the bronzer and handed it to you with a flourish. “Your bronzer, madam.”
You accepted it with a mock curtsey. “Thank you, kind sir.”
As you dusted the bronzer along your cheekbones and forehead, Rafe looked on, clearly entertained. You could tell he was enjoying himself, which made you even more relaxed and playful.
“Next, some blush for a bit of color,” you said, swirling the brush in the blush compact. “Just a little on the apples of the cheeks.”
Rafe tilted his head, studying your technique. “Looks good. You missed a spot, though.”
You paused, mid-swipe, giving him a look. “Really?”
He leaned in, brushing his thumb lightly across your cheek. “Right… here.”
His touch was soft, and you felt your breath hitch slightly, caught off guard by the sudden tenderness. He pulled back with a satisfied smile, leaving you a little flustered, but in a good way.
“Thanks,” you managed, giving him a playful shove. “Now, let’s finish up with some mascara and a bit of lip balm.”
Rafe picked up the mascara, twirling it between his fingers before handing it to you. “Be careful with this one. It’s dangerous.”
You laughed, carefully applying the mascara to your lashes. “I’ll try not to poke my eye out.”
Once your makeup was finished, you reached for your lip balm, applying a quick swipe across your lips. “And that’s it! My secret beauty routine are simple, natural, and easy enough that even Rafe could do it.”
Rafe, who had been leaning back in his chair with a smug grin, feigned mock offense. “Hey, I might just take that as a challenge. Next time, I’ll show you how it’s really done.”
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh, really? I’d love to see that.”
He smirked, leaning closer to the camera as if sharing a secret. “Maybe we should film a ‘Rafe Cameron Beauty Routine’ next. Show everyone how I maintain this rugged charm.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at the idea, shaking your head. “I’m sure your fans would love that. You know, maybe we should actually do it. Could be fun.”
Rafe’s eyes lit up at the thought, clearly entertained by the idea. “You’re on. But you have to be my assistant. I can’t possibly do it alone.”
You grinned, nudging him playfully. “Deal. But only if you promise not to turn it into a comedy routine.”
He chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you closer. “No promises, but I’ll try to keep it professional.”
The two of you shared a quiet moment, your laughter fading into comfortable silence as you sat together, Rafe’s arm warm around you. The camera was still recording, capturing the easy affection between you, something that came naturally, whether the cameras were on or not.
Finally, you turned back to the camera, giving the viewers a warm smile. “Well, I think that’s a wrap for today. Thanks so much for joining me on this little behind-the-scenes look at my beauty routine. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.”
Rafe chimed in, his tone playful. “And remember, if you want a real beauty routine, stay tuned for the Rafe Cameron edition.”
You laughed, playfully shoving him again before waving at the camera. “Thanks for watching, everyone! See you next time!”
With that, you reached over and hit the stop button, ending the recording. The red light on the camera blinked off, signaling the end of the shoot. You leaned back in your chair, feeling a sense of accomplishment and a bit of relief that it had all gone smoothly, well, almost.
Rafe stood up, stretching his arms over his head with a satisfied grin. “Not bad, Mrs. Cameron. You’re a natural in front of the camera.”
You smiled up at him, feeling a warm flush at the way he called you by your married name. “Well, I’ve had a bit of practice. But I think you might have stolen the show.”
He chuckled, reaching down to pull you up from your chair. “Hey, I’m just here to support my wife. And maybe sneak in a little screen time.”
You rolled your eyes affectionately, letting him pull you into a hug. “You know, you actually made it a lot more fun. I’m glad you interrupted.”
Rafe’s smile softened as he looked down at you, his hands resting comfortably on your waist. “Yeah? I’m glad too. It’s nice to be part of these little moments with you.”
You rested your head against his chest, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath your ear. “Me too. I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else.”
For a few moments, the two of you just stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the world outside your home feeling miles away. It was in these quiet moments that you were reminded of just how lucky you were to have found someone who understood you so completely, who made every moment, whether big or small does feel special.
Rafe finally broke the silence, his voice soft and teasing. “So, how about we celebrate our first Vogue feature with some takeout and a movie? Maybe we can critique my on-camera skills.”
You laughed, pulling back to look up at him. “That sounds perfect. But I think you might just be a natural.”
He grinned, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. “Only because I have the best partner.”
With that, the two of you started to clean up the vanity, chatting and joking as you put away the beauty products. The light in the room was starting to fade as the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a golden glow over everything.
As you worked together, you couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of contentment. This was your life now, a life full of love, laughter, and the kind of everyday moments that made everything else worthwhile. And as long as you had Rafe by your side, you knew that every day would be an adventure, filled with more joy than you ever thought possible.

Cold nights were the best nights for interrogations. The man was thrown on the ground, feeling the sharp rocks stick on his arm he whined in pain some and rubbed his arm staying on the ground. “Listen, listen to me please I promise I’ll have your money by next month I need more time-“ soon a sharp kick was to his chest. “We gave you time. And it’s been ran out. So cough it up old man.” The figure spoke with the purple bandana over his mouth. The other figures were searching the car finding luggage and airplane tickets.
“Trying to run out on us Robert?”
Robert, still on the rocky ground, looking up seeing the figure come closer and removed the bandana. “Rhea…” He mumbled and scooted back some. Seeing fear in his eyes only made Rhea smile. “What’s wrong Robby? Looking like you seen a ghost.” She smirked. “I’m tired of giving chances on you know that.” “Please I just need a little more time. I won’t run I promise.” Rhea just sighed and pulled out a small yet sharp knife, pointing it on Robert’s neck as Finn and Damien revealed themselves next. “You’re wasting my time Robby. You always do. But we give you break after break because you keep mentioning your family. Speaking of which, how is your family? You know the one you haven’t seen in weeks?” His eyes widened seeing he was caught in his lies. “Yea I asked some of my police dogs to run by your house and your wife was so worried. You haven’t been home in weeks. Your children haven’t seen you in weeks and you-“ she pointed the tip in his neck seeing some blood show. “-you lie to me. I take family very seriously Robby ol boy.” She hissed. He looked in her eyes seeing nothing but a black soul, bodies have seen her face before they die slow. “So what, you hop on a plane? And go where? I have connects out my ass to make sure your life is a living hell.” She continued smiling. Soon Damien felt his phone vibrate, he looked at the contact and sighed some walking away from the conflict to answer.
“Princess not now we are working.”
On the other side on the phone was their prize possession. All of theirs. Y/N pouted as she was in her big king sized bed, watching the canopy flow from the vent giving her fresh air. “But papa, where are you guys? It’s getting lates and mama said we can watch a movie…” she whined. Damien forgot about the movie night, it slipped his mind as he found out that Robert was trying to skip down from the police officers they hired. “You are right we are sorry Princesa, let me tell the rest and we will be on our way. Do you want some sweets?” He always spoils her rotten along with Rhea. “Hmm, kettle corn please?” He smiled. “Ok I’ll get it for you. But no getting outta bed waiting for us.” “Yes sir! I love you papa!” She quickly hung up getting in bed grabbing her one of many jumbo pokemon stuffed animals waiting for her caregivers to come home.
“Wrap it up.” Damien called out and Dom nodded going to get a large can out from their trunk. Gasoline. Robert watched him the whole time but was quickly back on Rhea. “You’re a lucky son of a bitch.” She hisses and puts her knife away. “You look like you need some weight off though, why don’t you have a nice stroll home.” She smiled and soon a single match was set by Finn as Dominic finished up soaking his belongings and car in the fluid. “The next time I see you, is with our funds along with you so you can keep your fucking scumbag of a life.” She whispered in his ear as he watched his car go in flames and the men walk away to their car. Rhea stood up from her knee and waved goodbye, but first turned around with dark eyes. “Another week. Or else you’re dead.” She smiles hearing the crackle of fire from the burning car. They drove away as they heard Robert cry out in anger and pain as he lost his last way to get out of his situation.
“Ok, she wanted sweets?” Rhea asked removing her bandana and putting it in the glove department. “Kettle corn, Finn did you make sure she drunk some-“ Before Damien could finish, Finn showed him a picture of the water bottle he bought her with times on it. All the way down to the bottom. “Awesome. Dom did you text drew to make sure she was finished with her activities?” Dom blinked forgetting about her homework activities, and he’s pretty sure he didn’t tell drew. “Imma take that as a no. It’s ok I’m pretty sure she finished some of it.” Damien said in hope. “Damien we were busy all day and Drew is a good babysitter-“ “Yea but we all need to make sure she does what she’s suppose to.” He said. Rhea rolled her eyes and pulled up to the side store to get the big bad of kettle corn.
Drew was knocked out on the couch, the team looking down at him in annoyance. “Well I’m glad she’s still breathing.” Damien sighed and went to get the rest of the snacks ready for her. “Drew get up.” Rhea punched him up and he jumped. “Ah fuck don’t scare me like that.” He huffed looking around. “Fuck how long was I out?” “Who knows but you’re in trouble~” Dom teased and Finn pushed him out the way. “You were suppose to be watching her.” Drew soon remembered and sighed. “My bad. I was just tired.” He soon noticed a black blanket was around him and he smiled some.
Earlier when we was watching over the house and her, he was yawning a lot as he was finishing up the dishes and getting Y/N ready for bed. She watched him the whole time rubbing his eyes and bags forming. “Uncle Drew?” She said lightly and he grumbled as he was sat down on the couch. “Sorry munchkin I don’t really feel like playing.” She smiled and nodded as she already had the blanket ready. “Mind going up to bed dear? I’ll be there I’m just getting myself together.” She nodded and laid the blanket to the side as she went upstairs slow. After a while, maybe a hour, she tip-toed back down and she saw he was out cold sleeping. She took the blanket and put it over him and kissed his cheek heading back up so he wouldn’t get in trouble for not tucking her in.
“Welp she would have been down by now if she was awake so she probably sleep.” Rhea sighs. “I’ll check.” Finn saids and he jogs up. Finn then goes in the door and she’s the bed sleeping peacefully, he smiled and slithers in. She had the covers half way on her so Finn fixed the blanket giving her a soft kiss on the cheek. A soft smile was shown after on her face as he went back to the door leaving out. “Yea she’s sleep.” He confirmed and everyone smiled. “We could just have a movie day tomorrow. Get her somebody snacks and then go to the park or something.” Rhea was planning. They come home happily to her, give her anything she needs and wants. Spoil her rotten. That was their princess. No one elses. Everyone else sees them as evil and ruthless people, but in her eyes she sees them as a safe haven, not an ounce of evil no where in sight, and they love every moment.
Nothing was better than having their princess in their arms.

DON’T BREAK MY HEART - PART 8
it was bad blood weekend and you were a nervous wreck. you didn’t know why but you had a sixth sense, feeling that it was going to be bad. in your mind you saw rhea and damian losing. you saw drew and punk destroying each other and you were terrified because you couldn’t do anything to prevent all of that. it was just your imagination - you told yourself - but as the days passed, your feelings got worse and in less than two hours from the start of the show, you were completely terrified.
adam forbid you to go and help rhea, meaning that she was alone out there. you knew she didn’t need your help to win a match, especially against liv morgan, but you never knew what the judgment day was up to.
you saw how drew trained himself this week, you knew he was ready for the match, but having him, alone, in a cell with punk, was scaring you. he told you multiple times that no matter the outcome, he would make punk see hell, and by now, you knew that drew was serious. he didn’t care about winning or losing, he wanted this to be a revenge on punk, for costing him the world title.
as you were all backstage, you could feel the tension. drew tried to stay calm, especially seeing how agitated you were, but truth was, he wasn’t calm either. he was ready for that match.
the hell in a cell match was going to be the first one, probably the most anticipated match of the night.
“be careful out there okay?” you whispered as he finished getting ready.
“i will, i promise” he tried to reassure you but you didn’t really believe him.
chuckling, you looked up at him “you won’t, i know you…i already see blood and tears so please, don’t be the one i see bleeding in my imagination” you tried to be sarcastic but deep down you know that there was a huge possibility of drew coming back with blood and deep cuts.
“well, then you have a large imagination” he joked “i can’t promise you that but i promise you that i’ll be careful okay?” he smiled down, trying to reassure you as best as he could.
rhea and damian were both getting ready for their matches so they weren’t watching punk and drew completely destroying each other, meaning you were left alone in your little changing room watching the show on the tv screen in front of you.
drew wasn’t careful. you saw blood during the first fifteen minutes of the match. both men were heavily bleeding. you wished they stopped at the tables and chairs but they both went too far. you could hear the crowd cheering but there was an heavy tension backstage, as if this wasn’t supposed to happen.
of course you knew there was going to be blood and a lot of brutality but for a minute you thought that it was too much. thirty minutes into the match and both men had no intention of stopping. more blood, more violence, more gore. you quickly left your changing room and walked around backstage, you had no intention of finishing that match.
you tried, but seeing drew like that was too much for you.
“girl where are you going?” you heard jey’s voice calling you when he saw you wandering around with nowhere to go “come here!” he gently smiled and pulled you into a bigger locker room. him and few people of the crew were watching the match.
“oh god…” you whispered seeing how badly injured was drew. you saw the big jump he took on the metal stairs and how hard he hit his back. you closed your eyes for a moment, trying to get that image out of your head - he broke his back - you thought - it’s over for him. you didn’t care who was going to win, you just wanted the match to be over. luckily a few minutes later, punk finished his moves on drew, making him the winner of the match.
you could see that neither of the men were able to stand properly. punk fell on his knees and drew was still trying to catch his breath inside of the ring. it was an hell of a match but it was too much for you. you just wanted to get to drew and hug him, comfort him.
you excused yourself from jey and the rest of the crew and sprinted out towards the entrance but security stopped you, telling you that drew needed to be medicated first.
your mind was racing. rhea was getting ready for her match. damian was getting ready for his match. drew was being medicated somewhere in the backstage and you were standing there alone with your thoughts as people kept working around you. you felt small, too small.
you didn’t care - you needed to know how drew was doing so you walked towards the medical area and when you saw him getting his wounds cleaned, your stomach turned on you.
drew saw you and he weakly smiled at you, aiming for you to come in.
you didn’t know what to say. he didn’t know what to say. but the sight of blood made you sick so you tried to look anywhere in the room expect him.
“y/n…” his rough voice called you.
“hey…” you walked a little closer till you sat down next to him “you promised me that you would have been careful” you joked, making him slightly chuckle.
“i’m here, alive…that’s a promise” he smiled, looking at you.
“you got everyone worried…you got me so fucking worried, drew i thought i lost you” you didn’t mean to sound so weak, you didn’t mean to let everyone in the room know about your relationship but you couldn’t help your emotions.
“hey…i’m okay, i’m here…just some cuts but i’m okay, i promise you” drew reassured you to keep you calm but deep down he knew he failed. he wanted to show you he was capable of doing it but he failed and he was ashamed of himself. he knew that you would have never judged him but that wasn’t what his mind was telling him “hey y/n…do you mind if i rest a little bit? i feel like i just need to close my eyes” he wanted - needed - your comfort but he felt like he didn’t deserve it.
you were taken aback from his demand but you knew that you couldn’t say no to him. after what he just been through, he needed to rest, he needed time for himself “absolutely…let me know if you need anything okay?” he smiled softly kissing your cheek before letting you go.
feeling a little down you hoped to meet either damian or rhea backstage but none of them was anywhere to be found.
damian was next and he was about to enter the ring so you sat backstage and watched the match with a little anxiety as he was going to face finn. after everything he put you through you knew that all you wanted to see was damian destroying finn but the judgment day was going to interfere and he was there all alone. anxiously you watched the match and couldn’t help your happiness the moment he won. even if the judgment day tried to help finn, they all failed miserably and you couldn’t help but laugh.
as time passed you waited for rhea’s match. she trained so hard for this moment and you knew that she was more than ready to fight back. she had this match, she had this moment and no one was going to take it away from her, especially liv. she didn’t have dom’s help and she was there all alone. you knew rhea was going to win. she had to win. it was such an easy match for her, plus seeing dom in that cage made you laugh - he had what was coming for him.
so what did go wrong?
no one expected to see raquel back. she wasn’t in the script, she wasn’t in the plan.
rhea won by disqualification but liv still held the title, she still held the crown and no matter how good rhea was, she knew it would have been hard to get her title back.
you stayed there, watching as liv and raquel along with dom celebrated over rhea’s lost and your heart broke for her even more. she didn’t deserve all of that.
wondering what to do, you let rhea have some time for herself before you could join her in her changing room.
around fifteen minutes passed and you couldn’t wait any longer, you needed to see her, to comfort her and to let her know that she did amazing no matter the outcome. seeing the two most important people of your life losing on the same day made your heart sank.
slowly approaching her changing room, you softly knocked on her door and stepped in when she said so.
but she probably wasn’t expecting to see you because her nose scrunched a little too much for your liking.
“rhea…you were so great out there, you had the match in your hands…” she didn’t even let you finish.
“yeah but i lost. again, once again i don’t have my title, so who cares if i was the best one out there? listen, i need time alone” she was clearly upset and you couldn’t blame her.
“rhea…” you whispered. it pained you seeing her talking so low of herself.
“i don’t wanna talk” she spat back.
“rhea…”
“no! i don’t wanna talk! i don’t wanna talk or see you!” - oh, she was mad but with you?
“rhea what?” you weren’t used of her screaming at you, you weren’t used of fighting with her.
“i lost! i fucking lost against that liv morgan and where were you? i needed you, but you weren’t there?” she waited a few seconds before start screaming at you again “where the fuck were you!” this version of rhea scared you.
“rhea you knew i couldn’t! the management said…”
“i don’t give a shit about what they said! i needed you and you weren’t there! i’m always here for you and for one time where i needed your support, you weren’t there! fuck!” she knew better than to scream at you, knowing she would have triggered some memories of your past but anger was taking the best of her and she didn’t care about you or anyone at the moment.
“rhea i’m sorry…” tears in your eyes.
“i don’t care! now go, i need to stay alone!” she said turning her back on you.
you slowly walked away, letting all of your tears fall down.
you needed to talk with someone, anyone yet drew was probably sleeping and damian wasn’t answering his phone, too busy celebrating his victory.
you were alone - again.
liv was right. finn was right. you would ended up being alone. rhea was going to leave and it was just a matter of time.
you needed to leave the arena as soon as possible.
you felt like the space around you was suffocating you. the air was thick and you struggled breathing. what was going on?
walking fast through the corridors, you took a deep breath when you saw one of the emergency exit and the big orange door right in front of you. quickly pushing the door open, you took a deep breath when you felt the cold air hitting your face, you were free - you thought.
but your chest was still heavy and the tears wouldn’t stop falling.
you took your phone out of your pocket and quickly called damian, hoping he was going to answer this time. “come on damian…please, please…” but you were met again with his voice recording saying to leave a message if needed. where was he?
you needed to go back to the hotel as soon as possible but with no rental of your own was pretty hard. wiping your tears away and calling an uber, you tried to act as everything was normal even if you were slowly dying inside. everything was so wrong and the worst part is that you couldn’t do anything about it.
as if the night wasn’t already ruined, the uber driver was a fan. you didnt mind talking with fans - you could talk about wrestling all day long - but your mind wasn’t in the right place at the moment and all you could focus on was the fact that once again you were alone. you tried to be polite but all you wanted was to get away from that small space and breathe fresh air again. as you got out, you couldn’t help the tears falling down your cheeks. you felt pathetic, crying over nothing. the words liv and finn said to you echoing in your head - how you would ending up being alone - and the things was you started to believe them.
why were you being so paranoid? drew was sleeping, the match took a big tool on him but that didn’t mean he hated you or he didn’t want to see you. damian was celebrating his victory somewhere with his family, friends and probably some models too. but if you were family too, why didn’t he invite you? and rhea was mad. you still couldn’t point out if she was mad because she lost the match and needed someone to blame or if she genuinely was mad at you for not interacting with her during the game. she knew you couldn’t. she knew that if you intervened, both of you would have gotten in big trouble with the management, risking up to month fine without wrestling. did she really wanted that?
your mind was spinning and you tried to reach your bedroom as fast as you could.
in the meantime, damian was at the arena, he didn’t leave, he stayed there the whole time finishing up some interviews and even if he wanted to go out and drink something with his family, he was tore down and all of his body ached - he couldn’t wait to go back to bed.
“…thank you so much damian” jackie thanked him once he finished his interview, leaving him there in his changing room.
taking a deep breath, he took his phone out of his pocket and grew immediately worried when he saw all of your missed calls.
he tried to call back but your phone went immediately on silent mode, as if it was turned off.
weird - he thought - you never turned your phone off.
walking to find rhea, she was nowhere to be found. he knew she was a hothead and he knew that she probably wanted to stay alone.
his only option was drew and he prayed the man was still in the arena. someone from the staff told him that drew was still in the medical bay so he walked over there, asking from time to time if anyone had seen you.
knocking on drew’s door, the scottish man let him in.
“damian…” drew definitely wasn’t expecting him. he was hoping it was you.
“how are you man?” damian genuinely concerned about drew’s condition after the rough match he had in the cage with punk.
drew chuckled a little before letting his real thoughts out “i’m glad to be alive you know? i wasn’t expecting this much violence but it was one hell of a match, i felt better to be honest” he joked “i’ll be okay, thanks…”
“listen man, have you seen y/n? she called me a few times earlier and i couldn’t answer but when i tried to call her back it goes straight to her voicemail…” damian directly asked drew.
drew knew you never turned your phone off so he was taken aback from damian’s words “i saw her once the match was over, she came here and we talked a little bit…then i asked her if…well, i asked her if she could leave, i wanted to sleep a little…”
“and…?”
“and she left. she probably wasn’t expecting my request” drew took a deep breath “i just needed some time alone you know? i haven’t seen her since then, but i checked my phone a few minutes ago and she hasn’t called me. have you tried rhea?”
damian shook his head “rhea is nowhere to be found. she needs time to cool off after her match, i don’t think she saw y/n…i just feel like it’s weird, she has called me five times and now her phone is like dead…” worried look painted his face.
drew stood up immediately from the couch he was sitting and checked damian’s phone as he tried to call you once again.
“dead line…” damian whispered.
where were you?
back at the hotel, you quickly paced around the room, trying to focus on something, anything that could have helped you relax and yet nothing was working.
your hands began shaking and while you reached for your phone, you saw that it died while you were walking to the hotel. looking for a charger, you threw your suitcase upside down and when you found it, you plugged it into the wall and rapidly waiting for your phone to turn on.
“come on…” you whispered. you didn’t know what you were actually waiting for. damian wasn’t going to answer anyway and drew said he needed time for himself, leaving you with no options at all.
as your phone turned on, you saw the missed calls from both damian and drew and a shaky breath left your lips.
you didn’t even have time to call one of the boys back that an incoming call from drew appeared on your home screen.
taking a deep breath you answered his call.
“y/n?” drew asked the moment you answered.
“drew…” your voice shaking. what were you crying for? he answered and yet you couldn’t find peace.
“y/n, what’s going on? baby, why are you crying?” drew’s heart broke when he heard your soft sobs from the phone.
“i…i don’t know, i don’t know what’s going on…drew i, i can’t breathe…i don’t know what to do…” clearly panicking again, drew needed to know exactly where you were.
“y/n where are you? i’m coming to get you” he was worried and his heart was racing.
“what? no, no drew you need to rest, i…you stay there and-…”
“cut the bullshit y/n, where are you?” he hated being so severe with you but he needed to know what was going on and if you were in any type of danger.
“at the hotel…my room” was all that you were able to say before drew spoke again.
“we are coming to get you…” he said before cutting the call off.
was he really coming for you? were you really so pathetic that you needed him? did you wake him up just because you were acting stupid again?
your mind couldn’t stop those horrible thoughts and all you wanted to do was disappear, pretend like you never existed - maybe everyone life would be better without you.
what if rhea had a better teammate? what if that teammate would have broken the rules for her? what if you are the reason the judgment day broke up? were they really so tired of you? what if drew had a girlfriend who was normal and not acting crazy like you did?
you tried to breath as drew taught you but you couldn’t. and the idea of drew seeing you like this again was killing you. you made so much progress and now you felt like you fucked everything up.
you were sat on the floor, your back on the edge of the bed as you tried to calm yourself down when you heard the hotel room door opening.
a very bruised drew sat on the floor with you, right in front of you while damian stood behind, clearly worried about you.
“y/n…baby, what’s wrong?” drew’s voice was soft. the moment he met your eyes, he knew something wrong had happened.
“i’m sorry…i’m so sorry i shouldn’t have called, damian you don’t have to be here…you should be out celebrating your victory and-…”
but damian wasn’t agreeing with you “the hell? hermosa, what’s going on? i’m sorry i didn’t answer before but i’m here now, we are both here…”
“yes that’s the problem! you shouldn’t be dealing with me! you have a life and worse problems than to stay here with me!” you couldn’t stop the tears from falling “i told you drew, my head is a fucking mess, i don’t deserve you, i don’t deserve any of you…all i do is complain and fucking up, i’m just a burden to everyone and”
“what the heck are you talking about darling…look at me” his big calloused hands gently lifted your face “look at me love” while his thumb was wiping your tears away “i don’t know what’s going on in that pretty head of yours, i wish i knew but i don’t…” he spoke softly to you “you’re not a burden, listen to me, you’re not a burden. don’t listen to what those voices in your head are saying, listen to me…you’re everything to me, i love you so much and it’s okay to cry, to feel lost, but i’m here, your family is here and we aren’t leaving you…” he really hoped that you could listen to him.
opening his arms for you, he gently let you lay your head on his shoulder. his hands stroking your back as if he wanted to calm you down, knowing how much you craved for physical touch.
drew and damian knew that you needed help and they were both right there for you. they knew you were strong and yet so fragile. they knew the toxic environment you came from, they knew that you feared of being left behind, alone. they knew that somehow, no matter how much love they showed to you, you still felt alone. and they knew that you get easily overwhelmed by the smallest things. people screaming, making too much noise or breaking things - that would wake terrible memories.
“yet she did…” you whispered, closing your eyes because the idea of your mind playing flashbacks of what happened with rhea earlier was enough to send you on the edge.
“who?” damian asked.
“rhea…she left, and it’s all on me” tears couldn’t stop falling from your eyes.
damian and drew exchanged a worried look. you two were practically inseparable.
what did rhea do?

When the fuck i write/ post this? Lmao thinking about continuing it
Tumblr media
Pairing: Drew McIntyre x Desiree Simons (oc)
Waring: not edited
Early morning whores, it’s currently 2am, and I am here posting yet another little snippet nobody asked for. I’m a slut for an accent so of course I did a little phone call snippet. Hope y’all enjoy, this is very much head empty no thoughts. Also also also, Desire Simons is my oc, pinned to my page.
Tumblr media
I’m standing in the hotel bathroom all fresh, clean, and ready for bed. Despite getting the snot beaten out of me hard enough to make me sleepy, I’m wide awake. A sensation stirring inside me, at my very core between my thighs. My mind flashed back to earlier that night when Drew had me pinned to the wall, his fingers teasing me, and how he refused to finish the job.
“Dick head.” I scoffed, and rolled my eyes. I try to put in the back of my mind, and get some sort of sleep. I crawl into bed, to my credit I had tried each sleeping position at least once, but to no avail did it work. I laid on my back, one hand resting on my forehead, the other placed on my stomach. My fingers twitched at the thought of Drew, and I fought against it because I made some stupid unnecessary promise to myself that I’d wait for the real thing knowing damn well we’d might have a rocky start. I put the sex between Drew and I to a halt because “I wanted to be a mature adult, and have a healthy fresh relationship with-start” well look where that’s leaded you, you dumb hoe. My hand slowly slid down my body stopping at my navel to caress the exposed skin of the heart shape cut out in my sleep dress. The soft touch was decent enough to work me up, but not quite enough, and I was becoming impatient.
I spread my thighs slightly, just enough to fit my hand between, and I instantly come in contact with my own wetness. Not too much, but just a few drops from my excitement, I sigh out loud knowing that if I were to do this alone I’d have to work harder for it. My eyelids were already drooping, half of me wanted to just rest so badly, and the other half wanted to be fucked through this goddamn bed. Right when I pushed my fingers between my lips is my when phone rung.
“Ugh, you gotta me fucking—
I turn over to look at my phone on the night stand when I nearly choke on my spit. Drew is calling me. Stupidly I answer the phone, I swallow thickly, afraid that he’d somehow see what I was doing.
“Hello princess.” His accent never ceases to excite me, granted he’s worked on his dialect over time so it doesn’t sound so much like gibberish. He’s mixed his English, and Scottish accent well. I’m convinced it’s only something he could pull off, I sigh in an attempt to cool my temperature, and slow down my thudding heart.
“Still with that nickname?” Not that I was opposed to it, it was something that started off as a stupid joke meant to get on my nerves for the time being. But as we got closer it took a life of its own, not to mention the way Drew says it in particular.
“If the shoe fits sweetheart. ” He quips, I snort, and now I’m starting to wonder why in the hell he called me. Before I could speak, he cut in with a soft slow start, “And it does fit you, no matter how tough you think you are, I know the truth.” I could hear the smirk on his lips in his tone, that pitiful spark of sexual tension I had earlier is being stoked. His voice caressed around my ear as if he was right next to me. He knew how to trap me, even after all this time apart, he knew what kinds of games I liked to play.
I hummed in response, I was barely able to speak, at least not coherently. “Yea? What truth is that Andrew?” I asked, my voice unintentionally shrinking.
“That you’re not so aloof to your effect on people, especially the men in your life. They’re all wrapped around your pinkie” He claimed, a bit of frustration mixed with lustfulness in his tone.
“Yea?” I asked playfully.
“Yea.” He answered.
“And what about you? Are you coming to my every beck and call?” It was a genuine question, I didn’t care about what anyone else wanted from me, his attention mattered the most to me.
His end went silent, if it weren’t for his heavy sigh, I would have thought he hung up. There was some shuffling before he answered, “Feels like it, but I’m not complaining. Who am I if not a loyal servant.”

I transcribed what McIntyre said to Punk after his mania match
(I did this instead of working on my dissertation and it took an hour of messing with audio and replaying it until I could hear properly)
Essentially, he was saying that Punk is a good commentator and should keep doing it because if he ever wrestles again, McIntyre will end his career. He also really just wanted to rub his win in Punk’s face. Full Transcription is below the photo if you care.
Tumblr media
Speakers
P: CM Punk
D: Drew McIntyre
M: Pat McAfee
G: Corey Graves
C: Michael Cole
(ST) is used when multiple things are said at the same time.
Transcription
P: Well, my hat goes off to the champ. I’m not gonna tell him he’s gonna keep it warm for me because I don’t know what the future holds.
*McIntyre stares at Punk, who stares back.*
M: I think he has an idea of what the future holds.
*McIntyre walks towards the commentary table.*
P: Ah. I’ve been here before.
*McIntyre gestures for the other commentators to move out of the way and they do.*
C: Ok.
P: Be careful. Be careful, Drew. Your wife’s here.
*McIntyre climbs onto the table and crawls towards Punk, pushing the belt towards him.*
M: Like a jungle cat on our commentary desk.
*Punk applauds him.*
P: Congratulations. Have fun taking selfies on the internet with it.
*McIntyre kneels on the desk in front of Punk.*
D: I want you to know, every single thing I’ve said about you, I meant every single word.
P: I want you to know that I can’t hear a word you’re saying because I have cans on.
D: And let me tell you something. Right where you’re sitting, I’ll give you props, you got that down like nobody else. Step back in that ring ever again, I won’t put you out for a few months, I’ll end your career.
*Punk laughs.*
D: I’m not playing you; you think it’s funny? I’m not playing you.
P: I think it’s hilarious.
(ST) P: People bigger than you have told me that my career is over.
(ST) D: You’re welcome here.
D: Step back in the ring, I’ll end your career. This is my moment.
P: It is your moment. Why are you- why are you here? Why are you in my face? Why are you making it about me?
D: Because I want to rub it in your goddamn face!
*McIntyre gets up to crouch in front of Punk with the belt.*
(ST) D: Get this shot! I want this framed on my wall!
(ST) P: Alright man. Alright get it.
*Crowd starts chanting “CM Punk”.*
P: I ain’t never won a title and heard other people chanting somebody else’s name.
*McIntyre stands up and gives the DX “suck it” gesture with one hand while holding the belt in the other.*
M: Oh geez.
P: Alright. Ok.
M: Right in his face. He did that right in his face.
*Punk knocks McIntyre over and starts a fight.*
G: Wait a minute!

Second Chance (2/3)
Word Count: 7,931
Characters: Damian Priest/Unnamed OC, (minor appearances from Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Triple H)
Genre: Romance
Tags: Stars Align, Man Realizing He’s An Idiot, Regrets
Summary: some people are worth a second chance. (A Wrestlemania XL Night Two fic)
Part I here
Author’s Note: This is the night told from Damian’s POV. I did watch the BTS video from Gorilla, so any errors are my own.
A heavy case of nerves flowed through Damian’s system as the start of Wrestlemania XL grew closer. The vibe of the crowd already in their seats made its way into Gorilla where plenty of backstage talent and crew members were gathered.
Seth Rollins was there exchanging pre match whispers with his wife, Becky Lynch. The former already dressed in his over-the-top mummer-inspired outfit. It was outlandish but it fit the wrestler to a T.
His opponent, Drew McIntyre was there as well. Their match kicked off night two. Seth’s World Heavyweight Championship title up for grabs.
The purple Money In The Bank briefcase felt like it weighed a hundred pounds in his grasp. Aside from that World Heavyweight Title, the briefcase – securing him an opportunity at a title shot – was the most important object in the room.
He just needed the opportunity to cash in his title shot. Last night during Night One, an opportunity never arose. Roman Reigns never gave him an opening during his tag team match. Plus, he had The Rock next to him. He didn’t want to take the risk of anything going wrong.
Everything had to be perfect.
The venue – Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia – was perfect. The city was nearly next door to the city where he got his start in wrestling. A jump across the Walt Whitman Bridge and a quick ride down 42 and he’d be in Atlantic City.
When he arrived at the stadium earlier in the day, he took a moment to walk out on the ramp and stare. Very few other people moved around save for a few crew members double checking wires and camera views. A handful of stadium workers walking through the seats double checking. The feeling of being alone in such a vast space was nearly overwhelming. He felt incredibly small in the grand structure.
Closing his eyes Damian imagined the stadium packed from the field to the very last row at the top of the stadium. The noise of the crowd could almost vibrate the ground beneath his feet. He’d been in that stadium once before with it rocking enough to feel the earth move.
When he’d opened his eyes it wasn’t the ring in the middle of the field he saw but the unblemished green grass with the Eagles logo on the 50 yard line. Unable to stop, his eyes centered himself in the stadium, gathering his bearings and navigated to the section of seats to his right and up to the top where once upon he was there in section 244 seat 26.
Even now, nine years later he could feel those cold temps of the late Sunday night in December. He could hear the cheers of the crowd and the slamming of shoulder pads together. See the white smoke from fireworks popping off from the wing-like canopies at the top of the stadium covering his seat after yet another Philadelphia touchdown. Could feel the soft lips against his in a celebratory kiss. There had been plenty of those that night.
“Yo. Priest you okay?”
Damian shook away the sparkling blue eyes chanting out the spelling of Eagles pumping an arm in the air with each letter to see his teammate and best friend, Rhea Ripley in front of him.
“Nerves man,” Damian stated in a half truth. It was better than explaining how his thoughts got away from him on the absolute most important day of his wrestling career.
“You got this,” Rhea told him firmly, slapping her hands on his shoulders.
“I really can’t believe this is happening….” Inside he was vibrating and it took everything he had to appear calm on the outside.
“You deserve this.”
He pulled her into a hug by a hand on the back of her head. She became his person from nearly the moment they met in NXT. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. They were the best of friends.
The show kicked off with Stephanie McMahon and then Drew McIntyre’s music played over the stadium’s system. As Seth made his way to the ring, he pulled the black hoodie he wore over his ring gear over his head. There were plenty of monitors in Gorilla to watch the match, but he couldn’t bring himself to look.
His friends – The Judgement Day faction made up of Rhea, Finn Balor, Dominic Mysterio, and JD McDonagh – were there with him in support. His friends allowed him the opportunity to talk if he needed. They also allowed him to sit in silence. He also had his brothers and father. Even with all the back up, it did little to settle the nerves. He stretched. He meditated bent over at the waist with his hands in his knees and eyes staring at the briefcase on the floor between his legs.
So many changes occurred in the months and days leading up to Wrestlemania, he wasn’t sure another change wasn’t coming. He didn’t know the proper word that would describe the devastation if Creative pulled an audible. This was his moment.
The perfect time.
Sometime later he was standing in the middle of Gorilla with his arms spread out while a crew member worked baby oil over his arms and shoulders. The oil served a couple of purposes. It made it harder for opponents to grip. It also allowed some moves to go off better with the extra fluidity the oil provided. Mainly, it was an aesthetic for visual appearance allowing muscles to pop and appear more defined under the lights.
Then it was time. The crowd roared as Drew’s music hit declaring him the winner and Seth was ducking through the curtain.
Damian turned his head to met Seth coming back at the same time the wrestler was slapping his chest. He reached out with one armed and hugged the worn out wrestler.
“I told you it was all gonna be worth it, baby,” Seth breathed heavily. His body worn out and tingling with pain mostly centered on his knee. He knew there was another surgery in his future but his night wasn’t over yet. “The biggest moment of your life,” he told Damian, slapping his hands on his upper arms. “I am so happy for you,” he gripped Damian’s chin with a hand giving it a small shake. “Enjoy.”
Damian nodded at him as the small smattering of people clapped for the veteran wrestler. He may be older than Seth, but Seth had years in the business on him. Years of being a big name, the top draw. He had mad respect for him.
He blew out a breath and danced on his feet. The briefcase in his right hand. Hands poised in either side of the curtain. A ref – his friend, Eddie – hovering behind him, ready to make that run to the ring with him.
Then it was time.
His music hit and everything else fell away. He was in the zone.
He sprinted down the ramp with the briefcase in hand. The crowd a complete blur. They could be screaming their heads off or sitting in the seats quiet like they were in church. He didn’t know. He circled the ring and lifted the briefcase, ramming it into Drew’s head, knocking the new champion off his feet. The briefcase flew from his hands on impact nearly flying into the stands.
Grabbing it quickly, he shoved the briefcase into Eddie’s hands. “I’m cashing in!” He yelled. “Right now!” He gave a little shove as he let go of the briefcase, barely waiting for Eddie to make his way to the timekeeper’s box before turning his attention back to Drew. Drew still laid on the ground. In the corner of his eye, he saw CM Punk standing on the announce table, a smirk on his face watching the events take place.
He could hear the announcer Michael Cole’s “Priest is cashing right now!” from the announce table.
Picking up Drew from ringside, he tossed him into the ring before climbing in after. He rolled in after the man as Eddie called for the bell.
The bell rang and he wrapped his fingers around Drew’s neck in a choke hold. He placed his other hand on Drew’s lower back and lifted the man high in the air, slamming him down into the mat. Drew bounced in the mat and Damian quickly fell over the man. He wrapped an arm under his leg and rolled his body back. He was laying on Drew’s shoulders, adding his entire weight on the man.
One.
Two.
Three.
Eddie’s hand slapped the mat in quick succession. It could have been hours. Or minutes. That final slap happened and Damian’s ears popped and cleared. The stadium went crazy. He popped off Drew on his knees and threw his arms back in a roar of victory.
His music started playing and he jumped up pumping his arms together before he flexed his arms out to either side, tossing them back as he released another roar. As he lifted his head back up, the dreads slapped him in the face.
“And here is your winner…”
He stalked the ring in a half circle before Eddie was there to present him the title – his title. Damian nearly snatched it out of his hands.
“And NEEEEEEW world heavyweight champion…”
He raised his hands high above his head in victory. The title clutched tightly in the grip of his right hand. Eddie’s hard grip on his wrist holding it up.
“Daamienn Preeeist!"
He released another guttural roar as the fans went wild all around him. Once again he could feel the vibrations beneath his feet as the crowd gave him the loudest reaction of his career.
He climbed through the ropes and jumped down to the ground. His eyes followed the ramp up to the top where he saw Rhea, Finn, Dom, and JD gathered waiting for him. He couldn’t wait to celebrate with them.
Emotions started to swirl in him as he stalked up the ramp toward his friends. After all the years he spent fighting and trying to make it in this business. The sacrifices he made. The people he lost along the way…
“Damian I love you!”
It’s a scream he’s heard a thousand times. Damian wasn’t sure what made him look to his right. He planned on smiling at the woman, maybe sending her a wink and keep moving up the ramp. That all fell away when his eyes met the woman. Shock took over elation and his steps faltered.
She smiled at him and he was taken back to that night in 2013 high above the field when she jumped into his arms jostling the people in the row in front of them who were too excited (and maybe too drunk) to care.
Damian knew he needed to make his way up the ramp and into the Gorilla so the show could go on, but he moved in her direction without thought. The pull was too much. It’s been too long.
He stood in front of her, breathing heavily from everything that’s happened in the last five minutes.
Was it even five minutes from the time he tore through the curtain and now? He didn’t know.
He couldn’t take his eyes off her. People all around her vied for his attention. He felt their touches on his arms and the tickling touches on his sides from people just close enough to make contact. The noise of the crowd faded around him. It felt like he was underwater with the muted noise. People blurred as he stared into her eyes.
“Luis…”
Damian’s breath caught at the whisper of his real name. How he heard it over the crowd, he didn’t know. It just proved he was locked in on her. His feet moved on their own accord and before he knew it she was wrapped up tight in his arms. A feeling of home washed over him. He damned the coat she wore as he pressed his hands into her back. He was probably hurting her as the championship belt was digging into her back, but he couldn’t let the belt go or her. Her hands pressed against his back. His skin on fire where she touched and he wished the contact was skin on skin. He damned the barricade between them that kept them separated from the waist down.
Her body shuddered in his arms and leaned into him. He happily accepted her weight. “Fuck…” he uttered, tightening his hold. Time was of the essence and the window for him to keep standing in her arms rapidly closing.
“I gotta go…” he whispered directly into her ear after ducking his head down and adjusting his arms in an attempt to hide his face from prying eyes and cell phone cameras and online lip readers. His words caused her arms to tighten and her hands to press harder into him.
He wanted to keep her with him forever. He wanted to lift her in his arms and carry her with him to the back. “Please stay,” he pleaded, not sure what he meant. What could he do going forward? “I’ll…” He’ll what? What could he do? He was about to enter pure chaos when he reached Gorilla. There were interviews, photoshoots, press conferences… he dad was back there. His brothers… “Just don’t go.” He settled with, hoping she’ll agree to stay for the rest of the show to give him time to think about his next move. He wasn’t letting her go.
When she nodded her head, he squeezed her in his arms one last time. He slowly pulled away and their eyes met again. Emotions swirled in hers. Sure they did in his too.
The noise of the crowd threatened the bubble they were in. He cupped her face with his hands. The title still clutched in his right hand, he had to settle for his knuckles touching the soft skin of her cheek. Without thought to who was watching, what cell phone was on him, or even what WWE camera had him in view, he ducked his head and pressed his lips to hers. It was quick – much quicker than he would have liked – but stole his breath nonetheless. As he lifted his head, he ran his thumb over her cheek in a soft caress before he forced himself to leave her.
Luis was pushed to the side and Damian appeared once he caught sight of his friends still gathered at the top of the ramp. Reaching the top, he held his arms wide motioning them to come to him. Finn reached him first wrapping his arms around him from the right. Dom from the left. JD met him from the front jumping into the pile before Rhea joined at last.
They jumped up and down in excitement. Hands slapped backs and arms squeezed necks.
“Raise the title up, mate!”
Damian took Finn’s advice and turned around on top of the stage. With his music still playing, he gripped the title in both hands and held it high in the air. He’s friends gathered on either side of him with their arms raised. A cameraman stood in front of him capturing the moment that would live forever.
In Gorilla he was met with applause. Adam Pearce was the first to meet him with a slap to his back. Damian stood there with a huge grin on his face, taking it all on. Arms wrapped around him from behind from JD. He tapped his chest, his heart working double time. Rhea was right there and he drew her to him with his free arm wrapped over her shoulders. Her arms wrapped around his neck in a squeezing hug.
“You’re the fucking champion,” she declared in his ear, her voice wavering as she fought to hold her tears back.
Damian laughed. “Couldn’t have done it without you, Rips.”
“Bullshit,” Rhea spat as they rocked back and forth. “And don’t think I won’t be asking what you were doing with that fan…”
He released her with another laugh and felt his face heat. “You saw that?”
“We all saw that,” Finn was next to draw him into a hug. “Love you man.”
Finn knew every emotion he was feeling and going through having won the Universal Title for Raw back in 2016 when Damian was still taking his licks in the independent circuit. Finn had to relinquish the title the next day because of injury and has been trying to claw his way back to the top title scene ever since. Even though Damian currently held the top title on Raw, he hoped his friend got there.
Damian was then met with Triple H. “Thank you,” he told the man, his voice thick with emotion. It was Paul who gave him this opportunity. Without Paul, he would still be an unknown name stuck down in NXT or even worse.
“You earned this.” Paul said into his ear with accompanying back slaps. “You have worked hard and deserve every moment of this. Just let me know if you plan on making out with a fan every time.”
Damian gave a surprised bark of laughter as the hug broke. “Not a fan.”
His eyes must have given something away, for Paul smiled at him before slapping his shoulder one more time. “Congratulations.”
“Now you don’t gotta carry that stupid briefcase around anymore.”
Damian turned and met CM Punk coming to him. “Hey man,” he laughed. He didn’t say it, but he was probably going to miss that thing. It had been a staple at his side since he won it back in July. Then again, the thing was an embarrassing accessory at times especially when he was going through the airport.
There were so many people congratulating and hugging him. He took it all in. He spent the the longest time in the arms of his father, who hugged him tight as he told him how proud he was. His own eyes welled with tears hearing his father’s voice waver with emotion.
Before he knew it an hour passed by and he was starting to take photos. By himself with the championship title. With Triple H. With Rhea.
“Why do you keep fucking with your leg?”
Damian removed his hand from the inside of his thigh in a quick manner like he’d been caught red handed. “Man, I put on my gear earlier and it ripped right in the seam.” He cocked his knee and reached down showing her where the seam came apart in the middle of his thigh. “I have black tights on under to hide it.”
“You dumbass.” Rhea laughed. “Why didn’t you just go back to wardrobe and have them sew it?” She wrapped her arm around his back while he did the same. They each held their belts up with their free hand.
“I just wanted to be left alone. Everyone I passed in the halls kept asking if I was gonna cash in. I couldn’t get away from it.”
Rhea understood. They all tried to give Damian his space in the hours leading up to the start of Wrestlemania. They didn’t bombard him with questions. They let him have his peace. They talked if he wanted to. Most importantly they were just there for him.
“You gonna tell me what that little scene was after you won?”
Damian knew the questions were coming, especially from Rhea. He wasn’t someone who got embarrassed easily but he felt his face heat. He looked down at the ground, shuffling his feet.
“Come on,” Rhea needled him. “I didn’t know you were seeing someone? You don’t have to keep that from me.” Lord knows it would be nice to be on the advice giving side of relationships after she pestered Damian so much during the early stages of her own relationship with Matt.
“I’m not. Come on. I would tell you.”
“You just randomly pick a fan out of the stands and kiss her?”
Damian shook his head. “Remember when you weren’t sure if you wanted to take a chance on Matt?”
Rhea nodded. She was a mess back then probably still is in some cases. Trying to torpedo her own fledging relationship before it could even start due to her own anxiety and insecurities. “Yeah, you told me a story about…” she broke off and her eyes widened. “That’s her?”
Damian shook his head in affirmation. “Yeah.”
“No shit,” Rhea said in disbelief. During a late night where she once again brought up her fledging relationship with Matt, seeking Damian’s advice. Their relationship was more of a sexual nature, not for lack of trying on Matt’s part. It was Rhea who kept herself at a distance because there were so many issues that could crop up dating a fellow wrestler. A messy break up with a co-worker. Locker room talk. One of them being let go… there were so many reasons that entered her mine. Some sound, most relied on planets aligning, some made up in her head.
‘Why are you taking all this on your shoulders? Matt has a say in all this too.’ Then Damian opened up about an old relationship where the issues were different, the result was the same. He carried it all on his shoulders and didn’t allow the woman to have a say. He made the decision on his own to walk away.
‘It’s one of the biggest regrets that I have.’
“Did you know she was gonna be here?”
Damian shook his head again. “No idea.”
“So what are you gonna do?”
“What can I do?” Damian looked at his friend. “I’m stuck here for who knows how long. I asked her to stay, but again… when can I actually get to her?”
“You once gave me great advice on my own relationship when I wouldn’t get out of my own way.” Rhea moved closer and put a comforting hand on his shoulder. “She’s here for a reason, Dame...”
“To watch Wrestlemania…”
Rhea rolled her eyes. “It’s an absolute shock you were able to give me advice with Matt when you truly are an absolute idiot…”
“Hey…” Damian was offended.
“That woman is not here to watch Wrestlemania you idiot. She’s here to see you!”
“I mean…maybe?”
Rhea growled in frustration. She spun away from her friend, walking toward a table where a couple of backstage crew members were gathered. “Anyone have a piece of paper and a pen?”
“Yeah, here.” One of the women reached inside a brown leather bound portfolio. She tore off a piece of paper along the perforated edge.
It was a smaller than the legal pad Rhea saw inside the binder but it would serve its purpose. She grabbed a pen from the scattering of BIC pens on the table. Walking back to Damian, she handed him the objects.
“What am I supposed to do with this?”
“Write her a note. Give her your phone number.” Rhea found it hard to believe Damian could be this dense. She found it harder to believe she acted this way when Damian was trying to steer her toward the path she wanted to take but was too scared. “If she calls you or messages, then you know she wasn’t just here to watch.”
Damian saw the merit in Rhea’s idea. He couldn’t get away from his backstage obligations. There was no way to truly estimate a time he would be free. She couldn’t wait in the stands forever. A note could be given to her explaining.
He moved away to get some privacy. He held the paper to the wall with one hand before writing just a short line and his phone number. Why he didn’t think of doing this before, he had no idea. His brain was firing on too many circuits with not only winning the championship but seeing her again after all this time.
Without hesitating, he ended the note with an L.
‘Luis…’
He could still hear his whispered name from her lips.
Maybe Rhea was right and she was here to see him.
“Hey,” Rhea pulled a young crew member over to them. “Did you see the woman in the crowd with Damian?”
The crew member chuckled. “We all did.”
“You remember where she was sitting and what she looks like?” Damian folded the note in half, creasing it with his fingers. When the crew member nodded he handed off the paper. “Please give this to her?”
The crew member was gone with a nod.
Later, while he was sitting behind the microphone for his time-slot at the Wrestlemania press conference, changed from his ring gear into a custom suit, his phone vibrated against his thigh. With an ear listening to the question about his title being the ‘workhorse title’, a phrase coined by Seth Rollins, he slipped his phone from his pocket.
‘I’ll be there.’
Those words made him want to throw his hands out to his sides with his fists clenched, throw his head back and roar to the sky like he did in the ring after winning the championship. He settled for a wide grin and turned his attention back to the reporters.

Drew was apprehensive at first the moment Y/N brought up using a belt in the bedroom. The way he was so feral with taking the damned thing off when he came home. He was so in control. So powerful. So unbelievably hot.
They were slow about it to ease both of their reservations about this. When he was home, they went out on the town on a date. Nothing super fancy. It was a nice place to allow him to unwind after a hectic work schedule. Y/N seeing him smile was always a treat. He had an award winning smile.
The moment the happy couple went inside, the fun began. A trail of discarded clothing followed them from the front door to the bedroom. Tonight was different than other nights. Something about Drew with his belt made him more dominant. He wanted to take his time with Y/N, and he did.
The leather belt tied Y/N's wrists to the bedpost. Soft kisses and licks explored her naked body. She tried to move, but the belt kept her in place. Drew separated her legs by gripping her thighs. His hot breath between her legs served as the only warning for what he planned to do.
Within moments, he laps at her clit. His hands gripped her hips tightly. She struggled against the belt. Y/N wanted to touch him, yet she was trapped. All she could do was moan his name and wait for his torture to end. Finally, he shows mercy.
He appears from between her legs. His beard was wet from her juices. A sinister gaze in his eyes. Drew wasn't finished yet by a long shot. Y/N gulped as he released her from her treacherous binds. She rubs her wrists briefly before receiving instructions from him.
"Get up and bend over. Palms down on the mattress,"
After the promise of using the safety word if needed, Drew lands a couple of taps of the belt on her ass. His rough hands rub the sore spot affectionately. The mix of pain and pleasure leaves her dripping. She needs more from him. It almost pains Y/N.
Drew would never openly admit it to anyone else, but he loves this. He loves to see her under his control. After a few cautious taps, one comes off a little rougher. He flinches, wondering if he truly hurt his Y/N. To his surprise, she moans loudly. His fingers brush against the sore flesh.
On nights when he is feeling extra playful, he likes to toy with her. His fingers are pumping in and out of her as the belt meets her ass. His fingers curled inside of her to make her eyes roll. Her calls for his name fill the room. When he is ready, he slides himself inside of her. Her walls tighten around him as she takes the belt.
They started to get more creative with the use of the belt. On days and nights, when they couldn't possibly wait any longer, he would tie her hands behind her back. Drew would take her doggy style while using her bound hands to keep her hoisted up.
Whenever he needed Y/N to keep quiet, he would place the belt across her mouth. She would bite down to keep from waking up the others in the rooms next door to theirs. He would thrust inside of her with reckless abandon. No longer worrying about other hotel guests complaining to the front desk. Her teeth marks would bear into the leather. Drew would continue to wear the belt around in public like it was his greatest prize.

y/ninsta posted a story
Tumblr media
written: got the biggest match of my return, coming for you chelsea green.
∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘
“are you really not going to tell me whether you are winning tonight or not?”
“that’s not my decision, boss man wants to get your genuine reaction to the match, i contractually can not tell you anything”, you spoke looking up at drew.
the two of you stood backstage drew’s arms wrapped securely around your middle, chin rested on your head just holding you close waiting for your cue to go out and start your match with chelsea green.
it had been six months since your return and you had been dating drew for three of those months. most of those on smackdown knew about your relationship because the two of you could not keep your hands off one another. storyline wise you had remained loyal to drew, especially during his matches against damian, you were always there as a distraction as the storyline was that damian had feelings for you but as drew was what you had known before your hiatus you had stayed loyal to him. your characters were not dating but backstage interviews always showed the two of you standing just a little too close, leaving plenty to the imagination.
“i love this gear”, drew spoke as he tucked a strand of loosely curled hair behind your ear. you had designed your gear, wanting something special for your first major match since returning to the company, you were dressed in a striking set inspired by the legend of the phoenix. the vibrant ensemble featured a blood red base with shimmering gold flames licking up the sides of your fitted shorts and sports bra top. the fabric was sleek yet sturdy, designed to hug your figure while allowing full movement in the ring.
embroidered feathers, detailed in shades of fiery orange and deep burgundy, adorned your shoulders and wrists, adding a dramatic, winged effect with every motion. a matching gold belt with a phoenix emblem sat proudly at your waist. to complete the look, knee-high black boots featured flame patterns curling up the sides, and your elbow pads bore delicate phoenix feather motifs.
“you look like you’re ready to set the whole arena on fire,” drew added with a proud smile, his fingers tracing the embroidered flames on your arm making you smile up at him.
“oh i am”, you smirked giving him a wink before a producer came up to the two of you alerting you that it was time.
the sweeping camera shot began with you and drew backstage.
“chelsea has talked about this match like it is going to be easy.”, you began  “she keeps on bringing up my ring rust or that i have not held a title in 5 years, but the thing is i’m not the same person i was back the. Iiam so much stronger now. because i have been reborn”
with that you stepped out into the arena beside drew. your intro played through the arena but it was different. you were debuting a brand new intro song, back from the dead. you thought it was the perfect song for your entrance especially since the song from before your hiatus felt too soft for this new elevated in ring persona of yours.
the walk down to the ring was perfect despite not being practiced, drew looked like your silent guard dog as he walked beside you, glaring at anyone who shouted anything negative at you, despite not many people doing so there were still a few fans that did not like you. they saw you as abandoning the company and only returning when it suited you and not the company.
as you made your way to the ring your eyes spotted a little girl with a sign that read “y/n is my hero”, without hesitating you stopped at the girl slipping your entrance jacket off your shoulders, “it might be a little big for you but keep it for when you are older”, you smiled at the girl giving her your jacket standing there long enough for the girl’s mother to take a picture of you with her daughter and you grinned ruffling the girl’s hair, "keep being brilliant"
drew hopped onto the apron, pulling the rope down allowing you to climb into the ring with ease, you blew him a kiss before he stepped down to his ringside position.
the music then changed to chelsea’s track and she made her way towards the ring flanked by both piper and elba. that was the one problem with your in-ring persona not having any friends on the blue brand. drew could not get involved with any of the matches, so you had to be more creative about things. and for this match you did have a secret weapon up your sleeve to help counter this disadvantage.
∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘
the match was gruelling, it had gone on for twenty five minutes with Chelsea giving her all while you left it all out on the mat. elba and piper had helped chelsea several times, with piper even giving chelsea a steel chair at one point and distracting the ref so she could crack you over the back with it. and drew was there yelling at the ref for allowing that to happen you just smirked winking at drew before hitting chelsea with a nasty right hook, getting the message across that you weren’t going to go down without a fight.
there was a turning point in the match, you were run down struggling to stay upright and chelsea had cornered you in the ring, she gave elba a nod signalling that she was to help her pull you out of the ring and onto the hard floor. But instead elba just smirked and hooked her arm around chelsea pulling her out of the ring and tossing her hashly on the ground. piper was distracting the ref and chelsea was left laid out on the floor giving you enough time to catch your breath.
“did you really think i just happened to join your side the same week y/n appeared, this had been my plan all these months”, elba taunted chelsea, “you underestimated me just like you underestimated her”
you laughed breathlessly at your friend picking chelsea up and tossing her into the ring again. you performed your finisher and despite piper trying to get involved elba neutralised her.
“1. 2. 3.”, each counted seemed to take forever but the crowd erupted as the ref grabbed your hand pulling you to your feet.
“introducing your new u.s. champion y/n y/ln”, the announcer roared and your mind was racing. of course you knew were going to win but it had just hit you that this was really happening. that you had returned to the company you loved and you were finally healed enough from the loss of your mother to run back into the arms of the man that you had fallen in love with all those years ago and return to a career that you loved. you had completed your dreams. the camera zoomed in on your face as actual tears formed in your eyes. yes it was a mid card title, but it meant the world to you.
you were brought back down to earth by a strong arm wrapping around your middle. Drew had joined you in the ring, pulling you close to him. now this part was not planned but drew could not help himself, his large hand came to your cheek wiping away your salty tears. and then he leant in and captured your lips in a soft kiss, the crowd going wild as you just melted against him. he slowly pulled away from your lips, “i am so proud of you”, he spoke.
“that must be why triple h didn’t want me to tell you”, you laughed.
just so fucking glad that you had picked up his call all those months ago.
you were home.

(Small scene with CG! Finn B. And Damien P. W/ Nicole (oc))
SFW! 18+ Minors DNI! Thank you!
Warning: Age regression, Topic of mastication, crying, stress topics
Mastication: its a synonym for chewing
~~~
Drew was humming along to the cartoon music as his little was watching tv in the main room, making some of her favorites as this was a small reward for her amazing behavior for the day. Picking up toys without him asking, eating and drinking what she needed for the day and taking a nap without making a fuss. His little is around the ages of 2-4 and she still has some issues with her sucking her thumb but drew also started to notice that she started bitting on her shirt a lot. “Lovely, time for some grub.” His little looked up over the couch to peer in the kitchen seeing him fixing her plate. As she did so she was naming on her t shirt near the collar. She hopped off the couch and hopped along to the kitchen to happily started eating but soon heard some sharp snaps that made her stop and whimper.
“Princess please stop chewing on ur shirt, come one now we talked about this honey.” she pouted and she released the wet top, Drew just sighed, “We have to figure out what’s with that.” Drew sat her colorful plate down and she hoisted herself up to the chair, “Daddy I sorry…” “I know pumpkin but you can’t be chew on your shirts.” She nodded and she started to eat her food as it was placed in front of her. Drew put his plate away since he wasn’t hungry at the time and had an idea with the free time he made for himself. He remembered that another person had the same issue that his little was dealing with. “Beauty, I’ll be back. Daddy has to make a call to a friend. No chewing on the shirt, just the food and I’ll get you some cheesecake. How does that sound?” She smiled and and nodded continuing to eat her food so she could get her other reward, her eyes watching Drew leaving the dining room.
“Ah the little one is chewing on her clothes? That’s easy, get her something to chew on.” Drew was on the phone with Finn as he was with Damian watching their little Nicole, Rhea and Dominic were out doing promos and pictures. Finn was rubbing Nicole’s back as she was coloring and Damian was getting a snack for her together, she was humming to the my little pony music playing in the back. “Literally all I need is for her to teethe on something? How does this even happen?” Drew ask as he looking up different teething necklaces from Amazon. Finn soon looked seeing Nicole show him the finished product of a colored page, he smiled and kissed her forehead. “One sec Drew, that’s so nice munchkin. Go ask DD to put it on the fridge so when mama gets home she sees it hm?” She nodded quick giggling and went to show Damien. “But yea as I was saying, It could be a number of reasons. But a main one is that she’s probably stressed about something or that’s just how she copes while she’s in her head space. But it’s not as bad, Nicole was dealing with stress and she would scratch her skin man.” Drew was worried but it seemed like an easy fix, it’s just he wants to know what is stressing her. “Finny! DD made Ants on a Tree!” Finn chuckled some. “Logs sweetie, and I’m coming!” “Thanks Finn, you have fun with the ants on a tree.” Drew smirked and chuckled as Finn said bye muttering an insult so the little one couldn’t hear. Hanging up Drew looked over at his little one seeing she was chewing on her lip as she was scrolling on her table done with her food. “Princess no chewing on your lip either, you’ll hurt your-“ “Ow!”
Drew got up quick going to her seeing that she bit her lip too hard by accident, she started sniffling and getting nervous not wanting to get in trouble. “Hey hey it’s ok baby you didn’t mean to, I’m not mad ok lass?” She nodded as some tears fell, Drew kissed her forehead and went to get the first aid kit to help clean her lip so it can heal properly. “Daddy also has a few questions for you bug. I wanna know what’s going on. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? That’s making you uncomfortable or having a noisy head?” He asked rubbing her hand after finishing up cleaning her lip. “…work…” Is what she simply said. “Well I know that you chill with Daddy to forget all about big bad work….” “Yes and I love spending time with you daddy but I’m still bleh…” She looked down playing with the bottom of her shirt. “I see…welp daddy got some stuff for you and it’s gonna come tomorrow. You think you can not chew on your shirt or your lip till daddy gets your gift? It’s gonna help.” She nodded and she hugged Drew kissing his cheek. “I’m sorry daddy…” “Hey hey no tears, big girls don’t cry when they don’t do anything wrong. Now let’s get the dishes done and we can watch a movie ok?” She nodded and she wiped her little tear happy about the sudden movie night.
The next day, Drew was waiting for her to come home from the meeting they were having for staff for this weeks shows. He finished his practice so he was gonna wait for her like always but she said for him to go ahead since its more work. She came in the house sighing slow and her body very sore. Closing the door the familiar smell of sweets made her melt, and soon she opened her eyes seeing Drew coming from the kitchen. “If you want to regress you can baby, I made some sweets and your gift is on the counter.” She nodded and she went to the stairs to go and dress down so she can be comfortable, get the work smell away with a nice hot shower. After fixing herself up, she came down and she zoomed to the kitchen. “All better muffin?” She nodded darting her eyes as the box on the table. “Are those my things?” She asked low as Drew nodded. She opened the box and Drew saw her eyes light up, She saw it was a big box of fidget and teething toys. “I know your anxiety has been nothing you pumpkin, so Daddy felt like this would help. You can even take a toy to work so it wont stress you as bad.” She pulled out a teething toy with a string on it. A necklace she could wear, besides biting on her shirt. She put it over her neck and she immediately started to nite on the toy in satisfaction. “I’m glad I disinfected the toys.” Drew chuckled happy she’s enjoying the toy. “Thank you, so much Drew.” She smiled shedding tears after she took the toy out her mouth. Drew leaned over and wiped the tears from her cheek smiling. “You’re welcome pumpkin. I don’t like to see you stressed or unhappy. So I fixed it, and when ever you need help I’ll always be there to fix it.” He smiled and she kissed his hand rubbing her arm. “Now looked through them baby there’s like 30 in there don’t just stop at one.” She giggled as he removed his hand and she continued to look through the box in glee.
Drew soon had a phone call, looking at the caller ID he smirked and he walked out the kitchen letting his little know he has a call to take care of. “What’s up Roman?…A project?…” He got the details and looked at his little fidgeting with safe magnets giggling to herself as she slipped into her headspace safely. “Sure, But why am I the gloom and doom man?” He asked in protest.
“Alright Aright, I’ll play along. Ill fell like I would enjoy it, and so will pumpkin. Update me when your ready mister Kent.”
