#odypen #odysseus #penelope #greek mythology #GRAAHGHG this was fun to work on even if there are things id change #i was just having fun coming up with a penelope design and then. oops made a whole piece #does it make sense for their olive tree bed to have an ocean view NO but it's the aesthetic tm #originally I had the room closed off but the sunrise colors drew me in ..... i couldn't resist......#I just. think about all of the time they spent apart and yet they still adore each other so much!!!!!#they are THE definition of love imo.#i wanted to give them olive leaves or twigs but it got too cluttered and wonky feeling #i also initially had penelope with olive leaf earrings but changed it to the clasps on her dress #but i think she'd have an assortment of olive themed accessories and whatnot #clasps and hair pins and earrings and necklaces and all of that. because the olive tree represents their love!!!!#the odyssey

#hazbin hotel #husk #was itching for r an excuse to draw my two versions of husk again #and I was jokingly roasting husk with my friend and she dropped that caption #oh it fed me I couldn’t stop thinking about it #and so this piece was born!#the idea is he is seeing his old self but it’s warped because he doesn’t like who he was anymore but he still hates who he is #hence the smile being warped like Alastors #and I colours and lined the reflection neat and smooth because he was well dressed and put together and now he’s washed up and miserable #so he’s all messy and jaded #this was a lot of fun to do thank you to everyone who gave me feedback as I went along #also I know he hates being a cat and I’m scared to design husks room because I feel we will eventually see it #and no matter what I’ll be wrong but I am so convinced his mirror is broke #and a long time ago too btw that’s why his hands fine and there’s no mess #also no I haven’t forgotten about my Comission I did this as a warm up dw I’m making progress #I did this over a week btw I didn’t just do the whole thing in one go pffst

im so fucking mad. why did i work so hard on this. there isnt even a single gay bitch in this image all i have is latticework and osmanthus studies

#arts #mottau #i mean i did enjoy drawing it. but also what the fuck #this is even sy's actual room yet this is a concept design for a room he will get later #like this is vaguely something i started drawing to conceptualize certain aspects of omega room design in this setting #but like at this point i could have explained more in three regular sentences #due to the potency of an omega's scent particularly in their living quarters certain aspects of their rooms are specially tailored #to contain their scent to the more personal parts of their living space. one could think of it as degrees of intimacy #with their bed area being the place their scent is allowed to fully saturate the space. the room divider here encloses the furniture needed #for dressing and whatnot as well for similar reasons and the curtain falling over it mimicking the canopy of the bed serves two functions #partially trapping in the scent and also adding an additional layer of 'hiding' to the nest area which makes it feel more secure #see? three sentences. that took five minutes to explain #i mean certainly the art looks niceys and all but im just so fucking perplexed. why did i do that

If your still undecided about what modern au Machete would have as a job, I would like to nominate him as a niche fashion model. Not like a popular celebrity, because he's not conventionally attractive, but he has that aura. He can Walk (in heels!!!)

I want to give him an excuse to wear all different kinds of fancy clothes, basically. He deserves to be dressed to the nines and glare down at an audience from the runway.

#modern Machete is into fashion without a doubt #enough to dream about being a designer or a model or anyone in those circles #but I'm not sure he'd have the personality for it #I think you need to be at least passably sociable as a model right?#bold enough to put yourself out there but also humble and cooperative so people will want to work with you #and you have to be adaptable and stress-resistant to deal with long shooting days and travel #you gotta let hair stylists and makeup artists touch you and be somewhat ok with dressing and undressing with other people in the room #I tend to think his day job is something kind of boring and not glamorous at all but he's very good at it and it pays well #and he uses some of those paychecks to buy himself nice things to wear #but it was very sweet of you to think he could be a model he would've loved to hear that #answered #anonymous

there's really nothing like wearing a piece of clothing made just for you by someone who loves you.

#my mother-in-law made me a comfy dress with pockets to wear while lounging around at home and when we go up north to camp #we went to a local fabric shop a few months ago just to pick out the textiles and threads and buttons for the closures #i've been over to her house a few times for fittings (tho i don't think they were really necessary #since this is supposed to be peak comfycozy loungewear lol)#like. my mom also made clothes for me when i was a kid but she was making them principally because she liked to test out her designs #on a guinea pig who couldn't escape from her sewing room lol #this is really the first time someone has made me something just because she knew i really wanted it #and took the time to ask me what i liked and what i didn't like #idk i'm feeling very emotional about it #ray.txt #i'm very lucky. the world is on fire but really i am so very very lucky

Set to Home Screen: I never thought I’d be able to perform on a stage again…

Home transition 1: This place is so classy I honestly can’t believe we were invited to attend! Not that I’m complaining, it’s not often we’re able to dress up all nice and fancy.

Home transition 2: This all takes me back to my memories back at home if anything…. Do I plan on performing too? I do actually! Although it’s been so long, I only hope I don’t mess up.

Home after login: I’m able to do what I’ve always loved doing, no way I’m backing out now

for various reasons I feel pretty confident that in the Knuckles show/Sonic 3 they're gonna reveal that Knuckles and Tails are sharing the attic with Sonic, but honestly? tf they mean this house doesn't have ONE spare bedroom???
