LAST TIME, ON EXPLORERS OF ARVUS................... i didnt take any notes because i didnt have my pc and was hanging out w solar. we found a cave behind the waterfall and then i died of having a migraine. now we get to Kill!

we've met Knight-Captain Ord Firebeard! taure and sieron are doing healing, charlie and silje were fucking around with cards before ord showed up and charlie had to Try And Be Professional, which is always fun. charlie temporarily being the party representative bc shes very friendly and the other 2 people are socially awkward

charlie sees taure walk up to some guards and talk to them abt "ok who needs to take watch off" but charlie cant hear what shes saying so she just sees the guards scurry off after taure looks Intimidating and is just like FUCK YEAH, TAURE!!!!

commander is Niles Ryder (thats such a cool name wtf),  there's a bunch of native arvusians that we're hanging out with and learning stuff abt! the camp vengeance guys arent really prepared for how fucked up arvus is so thats why theyre in such a bad state. we're helping out, but ryder is very much not like... not the right sort of commander for dealing with the wilderness of arvus.

the DreamOut PMV i’ve been working on for 2 weeks is finally done!!

im gonna try something new and fancy and it’ll be premiering on my youtube at 1 pm est! disclaimer: i have never done a premiere before so this will be new and exciting for all of us

it's been so long since i've done anything with dreamout so here's an overview of stuff i was hashing out and then never did anything with:

wilbur faked his death. and forgot to have philza in on it. ghostbur is just wilbur pretending to be a ghost and also having residual dreamon fuckery because of the mask cracking while he was wearing it

dream gets put in gay baby jail (a box) as time out. later when he's given some rights back he possesses a green sheep nametagged Enemy

ranboo is a system! and also possessed by a dreamon in the "a dreamon physically fused with him" way. except the dreamon got repressed by his system members pulling out sticks and beating the shit out of it. which ALSO led to ranboo losing all memory of being half-dreamon at all

dream adopts ranboo and decides to show him the ropes of being a dreamon. ranboo is terrified and has no idea what's happening, and also ends up getting recruited into the dreamon hunters

there were some vague thoughts about drista being a nano specimen named micro but i don't know if that went anywhere

puffy does therapy on a mask

exile arc: brick, tubbo, and tommy go camping! dream tags along but not for any Nefarious Reasons he just wants to be included

egg is dreamon-related somehow, dream fucking Hates It and sees it as a threat to the server and his friends (and is. kinda doing the "human emotion called friendship" thing) so he's Way more involved. probably teams back up with brick for the first time post-wilbur to keep him safe from it because brick's immune as long as he's wearing dream's mask

SOMETHING I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT GREEN SUGGESTED: eggpire kidnaps dream to get him out of the way but during a Climatic Battle dream hijacks the egg itself to turn the tables and in the aftermath he's able to physically manifest in his dreamon form for the first time

brick and tubbo do science crimes together!! brick snowchester pog. who better to help with the nukes plan than a lalna(ble)

"dsmp-2 dream would honestly be just. Stunned at first. that a version of him would stoop so low and havw absolutely no second thoughts or regrets about it meanwhile brick is already hitting canon dream with a steel chair"

dreamXD was initially dream fully tapping into his dreamon powers or being his true form / "unmasked". no idea if that's gonna still be the case

there was an arc idea where brick became president. good for him

tubbo invites schlatt's adoptive parents to his funeral. his adoptive parents are sips and sjin. This Goes Well (this goes poorly. sips decides to make himself king. dream wants to kick his ass)

lalnable ALSO shows up which is a barrel of fun for brick considering the last time brick saw him was when he was Created To Be Cannon Fodder. the whole "full crossover" arc is just a mess in general. everything happens so much

there was a joke where grian would kidnap brick and then he'd fall out of a nether portal with 10 new outfits

brick decides he's Done during a manhunt so dream possesses the ender dragon and the hunters walk in on him bonking into the obsidian pillars repeatedly

a quick summary for anyone that hasn’t seen me talk about DO before: this is an AU where Dream is a living mask with the power to possess people. there’s a lot of lighthearted stuff... but things go downhill fast once Dream gets a hold of Wilbur.

and now, instead of doing anything i was actually supposed to be doing, i have instead spent 2 weeks working on a PMV of a self-indulgent AU for a minecraft youtubers

the core idea of the DreamOut AU is that Dream is a mask, and the person everyone thought was him was instead someone he'd possessed years ago and had been using as a host while keeping his true identity a secret. after a close call with the Dreamon Hunters, and some self-reflection over how he's getting far too attached to his vessel as a person and a friend, Dream decides that he needs to break the attachment as soon as possible... and then Wilbur seeks him out for help destroying Manburg.

Wilbur offers to be Dream's vassal. Dream, perhaps on purpose, mishears it as "vessel".

DreamOut AU, or “how did this happen, im not in this fandom”

core concept: people draw Dream as a blonde anime boy with a mask. what if Dream was the mask and has been possessing somebody this whole time?

(disclaimer: this AU is a collaborative effort between me & my roommate (who know a little about dreamsmp) and some folks in the 77-2 discord (who know a lot about dreamsmp). i just kinda went off the rails and nobody stopped me. this is also partially inspired by SwitchOut, a very good webcomic that unfortunately isnt on the internet anymore but if it gets reuploaded i will let yall know bc i love it so much guys)

the idea im running with is that dreamons cant interact with the physical plane unless theyre possessing something or someone. dream specifically is possessing a mask that, when worn by someone, takes complete control of their body; dream’s been body-hopping for a while, but by the time of the SMP is currently possessing somebody named Brick.

(we’ve also decided that brick is a Lalna clone, because everything i touch turns to Yogscast even though it was originally a joke suggestion but--)

dream keeps this a secret, so everyone in the SMP doesn’t realize there’s a distinction between him and his host body until Fundy & Tubbo go dreamon-hunting (hence fundy telling Bad that there’s “two sides” to dream). brick & dream actually have kinda a weird friendship, with the situation initially starting as “unwilling host & manipulative parasite” but over time dream started actually caring about his host’s wellbeing besides just how it affected him and, while still not allowing brick control of his body, would listen to brick’s suggestions or do stuff he thinks brick would like.

then things got kinda... out of hand... and there ended up being this like, angst plotline where dream decided he wanted to ditch brick for various reasons (got all he needed out of him, freaked out over being too attached to him, w/e) and possessed wilbur instead, and brick went apeshit wanting his best friend back and started Another war:

because apparently thats like what 75% of the smp is. i mean, im not complaining, im an old yogs fan, it really do be like that

following up on my DreamOut ranboo concept from earlier:

a perk of being half-dreamon is being able to see other dreamons.

(dream is much less of a shitlord in this au and intends to take ranboo under his wing for non-manipulative reasons! such as “wait what do you mean you’re not a dreamon, you totally are. you dont remember? dont worry, i can help!”)
