HELLO SAMPARD NATION!!! I return for sampard week. Unfortunately I will not be able to partake in any of the actual prompt lists. BUT I wanted to do something because it’s one of my favorite ships kind of ever so I thought “why not finally make a full piece about a sampard based au I’ve had for a while?”so as you can see that’s what I did lol. The au I call it the dreamhopper au and basically to summarize; Gepard has really bad night terrors, and in this au Sampo has the ability to dreamhop and basically kinda messes with Gepard and they get into situations and hyjinx ensues. Of course him “messing” with Gepard also doubles to serve to keep Gepard’s night terrors away so he can actually sleep. But erm yeah :D happy sampard week!!

I want to hear more about the Dream Hopper worldbuilding! So is it like the Magical Girls (Gender Neutral) fight nightmares, demons, other MGs? How do they obtain their power? I NEED TO KNOW!!!

I'm glad to provide that information!!

The dream hoppers fight specifically nightmares, which can range from something simple like a kid fearing the boogey man or something more intense like deep set truama. There ARE other dream hoppers that they...technically fight. But let's say those people have become closer to nightmare at this point, including one important character.

For how they obtain their powers theres two ways:

1. Be a natural born lucid dreamer. Not only do you have to be able to lucid dream, but eventually through exploring your own dreams you have to find the doorway outside to travel into other peoples dreams.

2. During a dream, you have to recognize that someone has entered your dream. Doing will snap you into the realization that you are dreaming, which with practice will allow you to use the dreams powers. The story begins with Prom going around to different peoppes dreams and waking them to it so they can join Proms funky magical girl crew.

The powers come from controlling the dreamworld to your best degree. At its core dream hoppers is about the concept of giving various people godlike powers and a sandbox and seeing what they do or how they react.
