Nicktoons is now used as a 24/7 spongebob stream
Which isn't too far off from the regular nickelodeon channel, which rarely takes breaks from spongebob except to show hotel transylvania or despicable me

A home away from home.
I've always headcanoned that Mario feels a homey comfort in New Donk City and likes to hang out there. Plus a little scrapped comic I got too lazy to make about him and pauline:
Mario's a protagonist, and the grounding task of finding his way back home means it takes him a while to realize his idea of home has changed.
But Pauline, she quickly fell into adapting with her new life. She's incredibly content with her new life, it was a new opportunity she took hold of.
