There's one where after revival Wilbur's body is kinda fucked up in the nerves and blood vessels department, so he has some trouble with kinda controlling it, which particularly expresses itself in his hands being unsteady. They're so unsteady, that the first time he picks up a guitar again he can't play right. He blows up over it and has a breakdown, and vows to never play again. He still ends up trying a couple times, but each time he just immediately gets pissed off and upset, and tosses it away. It really breaks him. At some point he's at Quackity's place, and he sees a guitar. He looks at it for a while, but doesn't say anything, of which Quackity makes note. Next time they meet up Wilbur shits on Quackity for not having touched it recently, so Quackity takes it as a challenge. Once the music starts, Wil goes quiet. He's sitting to the side of Q, slightly behind him, and after a while for just a moment he leans against his upper back, and closes his eyes, simply taking the moment in. This situation repeats, a couple times, and each time Wilbur lets himself relax a bit longer. He starts playing with Quackity's hair as he listens, and one time he begins trying to braid it. His hands are shaking, he's struggling to divide the thick hair into even parts, he's having trouble keeping the braid even, but what's crucial is that he does it. Next time it repeats. And next time too. And the next, and eventually the braids start to look actually pretty decent. Time passes, they meet up more often, and eventually comes a day when Wilbur takes the guitar. No words are exchanged. No ridicule, but no praise either - no verbal acknowledgement. Instead Quackity just sits slightly behind him, and begins gently braiding his hair. The notes are wonky and don't always sound quite right, and the rhythm is messy, and strumming only goes well sometimes, but he's playing...

Quackity kisses Wilbur's head, right above the new braid. He leans in, partially hugging him, as the other's playing. It's been a bit over a year since he started playing again, and the difference is big. Neither knows if he'll ever fully regain the control and steadiness of his hands, but he manages to keep the rhythm, and the notes now ring out clear a big majority of the time. He plays quicker songs too, now; sometimes they both sing, and laugh when they mix something up. Quackity smiles, closing his eyes as Wilbur once again butchers a random song by changing up the words completely to make it as on the nose as humanly possible. He begins to wonder what they should eat tomorrow for their anniversary breakfast.

hey guys,, who wants to see this new dsmp au i've thought up of instead of working on my other countless, already existing aus.

still trying to come up with a proper name for it,,, right now the working title is shattered reflections...? buuuut i'm not too content with that yet.

the basic plot is, via ~wacky shenanigans~,, ranboo, tommy, and tubbo,, all from different universes,, end up getting misplaced together in the multiverse or something like that, and now have to hop from dimension to dimension, trying to find their way back to their respective homes(and maybe they'll find that the real home was the friends they made along the way).

still need to iron out a few kinks(how did this start, how do they travel, how does it end, etc etc),, but like. it's been rotting in my brain ever since the idea first came to my head, so i figured i might as well share it here? in case anyone else's interested,, dkdnsksms.

ranboo's from a magical girl-like au!!! why? mostly because i thought the idea was fun,, ekenkssjks. tried my best to emulate an anime style into the design, 'm hoping it came across? i've been imagining, if this au were animated like spiderverse,, they'd look a lot like how peni parker was animated,, dkdmskdm. you'll never guess what his magical girl form is themed on /lh.

tommy, as you can prolly tell, is from a royalty au! youngest prince of the antarctic empire,,, design is slightly based on some fanart i saw on reddit, by someone called em0kii, i believe? i say slightly because i only thought to search up "antarctic empire fanart" for inspo after i was done with the lineart,, and by that time it was too late for me to change it to something that better fit the cold environment the kingdom's based on(and by too late i mostly mean i was lazy),,, dkdjskj. still, though, i'm pretty happy with it!

and then there's tubbo! he's from a post-apocalyptic au B]. not one with zombies,, but... idk, maybe something exploded? haven't thought too hard about the cause, but just know that his world is in a not good shape. i'm sure it's fine tho. my main thoughts when drawing him were to make him less colorful and saturated than the other two,, since his universe is a bit darker than theirs,,,, and to make him look a little intimidating(big coat, goggles, scarf, lots of sharp edges, plaid). after all, if you're a 5' something teen in the apocalypse, living all on your own– you wanna try and make yourself look as big as possible to try and ward off as many threats as you can. and if that doesn't work, you can always just hit 'em with a bat.

There are two distinct groups, listed below: ---LifeSteal: A group of vigilantes that are very defensive over their city. There is often infighting, however that is often quickly solved and everyone is back to normal within a few months. Codenames/masks are not always in use, and most of the group do not care if the city knows who they are ---The RATS: A small group of vigilantes that are mostly passive, staying hidden in a secret hideout in an unknown location. They all have rat themed get up, but rarely hide their faces. Other Info: This city is fairly new to the hero/villain system, and as such as not put once in place. It is unknown if a system will be put in place or not (due to LifeSteal's members often changing sides or everybody being in a middle ground).

---YHS Island--- SMPs contained: YHS (if that counts) Hero System/classifications: None Ranking Info: None Other Info: A small island used to keep orphaned or abandoned children until adulthood. There is no hero/villain system in place.

---Other SMPs--- EVO: The first experiment by the WATCHERS. Was created as a test for potential heroes. Five passed the test, although only two went on to become heroes. Other details classified --- Outsiders: The second experiment by the WATCHERS. A group of heroes in training were put into a test, those who passed would become full heroes. The project shut down after a group of subjects went rogue and attacked a staff member in their escape. Other details classified --- EchoCraft: A small town around an hour away from Lifesteal City, not big enough to have a hero/villain system in place

dsmp discourse might be The Worst Discourse of All Time simply because there is no canon. no one in the fandom really expects everyone to have watched All of the Dream SMP streams bc no one should, its basically impossible. and you shouldnt feel guilty for only watching the povs of a few ppl either, though its true you might miss a lot of technical canon. before lore became 30 min prewritten streams titled LORE it was streamers shooting the shit for 3 hours with bits and pieces of what the audience made a story of, as in literally made shit up about what was happening to make it make sense. if you take what's happening in face value the narrative is unintelligible, there are things that happened on stream and in character that ccs dont consider canon, there are personas and bits and roleplay that are undistinguishable from what the character is supposed to be and there's hardly 'what the character is supposed to be' bc for a while there were no characters. the dsmp is the most literal possible instance of "it is what you make of it", no one is wrong and everyone is wrong. time to battle to the death i guess

✨Tommyinnit Cinematic Universe✨

All characters from the tommyinnit Mod videos are all the same person as their Smpearth, Smplive, Hypixel Skyblock and Dreamsmp counterparts, including Tommy.

C!Tommy is just a kid forced to hop dimensions, because he carries a curse where every world he enters is doomed to end. So he hops from place to place desperately trying to stay alive. On his travels he takes people with him to hopefully safe their lives, getting them stuck in the loop too, until they manage to leave Tommy's side. (Quackity fleeing to Karmaland, Phil returning to his hardcore world every now and then etc.).

The dreamsmp is the last world he was in that ended. The 2nd season will be the present time. All challenge videos came prior. And before that it was Smplive and smpearth, which were the same world.

This is also where the curse started, after Tommy accidentally declared war to the BloodGod, who was at that moment more caught up with farming potatoes and didn't really wanna deal with the angry teenager.

Origins smp happened after (most of the) Mod videos, but before dreamsmp. We just haven't seen how it ends yet. But it will :)

idk if anyone here even gives af about the series anymore but if anyone does should i finish tsmpa oneshots/character intro fics and just not write the piece going over the events of tua s1 or should i just scrap the series all together

what it is is like, on a meta level there were characters in the dream smp who were played by ccs who didn't have a large enough fanbase or "lore importance" to impact the writers room. like there were characters with specific written roles and there were characters whose arcs and internal conflict weren’t even being considered right. people's inability to separate cc from c also contributed, with cgnfs lore importance correlating w the ccs large audience (and ties to the main antagonist), he never would've been relevant otherwise. cniki was lightning in a bottle bcs she had just enough involvement with the guy's involved in the "main plot" to get eyes on her and what she did with that stage and focus was so captivating her character was able to stand alone with a fanbase of her own

however because of the nature of the dsmp, being able to see every characters individual perspective, the idea of 'side characters' only exists on a kinda narrative level, like for all intents and purposes ctommy was the main character (ignoring that old ass debate), the story was being sort of written with him at the center so thats how he was treated narratively but also on a meta level, many characters arcs were weighted based on how ctommy interacted with them. there were no side characters in the dsmp bcs of the nature of streaming as a medium but in the like, overarching story, ctommy is the mc

ALL OF THIS TO SAY ctubbo exists paradoxically. like technically he's one of the 'main guys' the fandom would focus on and was close enough to garner his own dedicated fanbase but [the thoughtstream that would spur this post] in modern discussions about dsmp nostalgia and character quotes and stuff I've never once seen ctubbos name.

So but but butttttttt on a meta level, narrative level, and TEXTUALLY LIKE IN THE ACTUAL TEXT he is regarded as a side character. like cctubbo gained a large enough fanbase to stand on his own but despite his proximity to the writers room he wasn't very involved in the writing of the "script" however the importance of his character to ctommy made it so that his character was always considered in the script (well characterized or not). with ctommy as the mc and ctubbo as his best friend, in the story of the overall dsmp ctubbo is the sidekick to main main character. now that's all well and good if it was only on a meta/textual level but this dynamic is actually crucial to his arc like actually IN THE TEXT

like in season 2 cdream is the main antagonist with making ctommys life a living hell being his main goal. he meticulously separates them and incites a canyon sized rift in their relationship. then while tubbo is holding up the sky and being [new] lmanburgs youngest acting president. cdream fully befriend him at his lowest with the intention of using him against ctommy. ctubbo was never a person in cdream's eyes. he, like many other characters, goes out of his way to dehumanize ctubbo, viewing him as an extension of ctommy the same way the discs are, something to taunt him with or destroy for a reaction. we see this in the white house fight and disc saga finale. despite going out of his way to gain ctubbos trust and play chess with him everyday, cdream never even saw him as a person (how fucked is that)

Anyway where was I goibg with this..ctubbo had enough ties to the 'main characters' to be tied to the 'main narrative' of the dsmp (in quotes bcs there's nuances to those phrases) but not enough to be allowed to stand alone on a meta level, narrative level, and in the text when regarded by other characters. it isn't until later in the story [thru streamer and tubbling efforts that he kinda gets his own legs? until the story requires otherwise from him and he's dragged along to whatever role the main story needs him to play (which in retrospect led to a lott of mischaraterization huh who knew

PH17 is a Dream SMP au focusing on Tommyinnit and Wilbur Soot, a Rebirth! au based on the webstoon Rebirth! (If you're not familiar with Rebirth, it's got elements of time loops, zombie apocolypse, superpowers, and modern au), focused on a platonic relationship. The author is open to Graphic Depictions of Violence or MCD, or you could go the other direction and do adoption narratives and fluff— they've opted into it all! PH7 is a a Life Series AU focusing on TangoTek, LDShadowLady, BdoubleO100, with platonic relationships being the focus. It's a detective/Mystery/Horror/Modern AU.
