The Ultimate Guide to Buying Educational Toys for Kids
Tumblr media
Introduction
In today's fast-paced world, education extends beyond the traditional classroom setting. One of the most effective ways to foster a child's cognitive, emotional, and social development is through play. Educational toys are designed to blend learning with fun, making them an essential part of a child's growth. This comprehensive guide will explore the benefits of educational toys, different types available, and tips for selecting the perfect toys for your kids.
The Benefits of Educational Toys
Cognitive Development
Educational toys are crafted to stimulate a child's thinking abilities. Puzzles, building blocks, and problem-solving games enhance memory, concentration, and critical thinking. These toys challenge children to use their imagination and creativity, fostering innovative thinking from an early age.
Emotional and Social Skills
Through interactive play, children learn to express themselves, share, and collaborate with others. Toys that require group interaction help in developing social skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Role-playing toys, such as dolls and action figures, enable kids to explore different emotions and situations, preparing them for real-life interactions.
Physical Development
Many educational toys promote fine and gross motor skills. Building sets, for instance, improve hand-eye coordination and dexterity, while outdoor play equipment enhances overall physical health and coordination. Toys that encourage physical activity are crucial in combating the sedentary lifestyle many children lead today.
Language and Communication
Toys that incorporate letters, words, and storytelling can significantly boost a child's language skills. Interactive books, word games, and educational apps enhance vocabulary, reading comprehension, and communication abilities. These toys make learning a language fun and engaging.
Types of Educational Toys
STEM Toys
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) toys are designed to introduce children to these critical fields from a young age. Examples include chemistry sets, coding robots, and engineering kits. These toys foster curiosity and a love for learning complex concepts in a simplified manner.
Art and Craft Kits
Art and craft kits encourage creativity and self-expression. They provide a platform for children to experiment with colors, textures, and materials. Activities like painting, drawing, and sculpting enhance fine motor skills and foster a sense of accomplishment.
Musical Instruments
Introducing children to music can have profound effects on their development. Musical toys, such as keyboards, drums, and xylophones, enhance auditory skills, rhythm, and coordination. Music also has a calming effect and can improve a child's mood and emotional well-being.
Language and Literacy Toys
Alphabet blocks, word puzzles, and interactive storybooks are excellent tools for language development. These toys make learning letters and words an enjoyable experience, promoting early literacy skills and a lifelong love for reading.
Building and Construction Toys
Lego sets, magnetic tiles, and wooden blocks are classic examples of building toys. They encourage spatial awareness, problem-solving, and engineering skills. These toys also promote patience and perseverance as children work to complete their creations.
Interactive Electronic Toys
In the digital age, electronic toys have become increasingly popular. Tablets, educational video games, and interactive learning apps offer a wide range of educational content. These toys can adapt to a child's learning pace, providing personalized educational experiences.
Outdoor and Physical Activity Toys
Bikes, scooters, and sports equipment encourage physical activity and outdoor play. These toys are crucial for developing gross motor skills and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. Outdoor play also fosters a connection with nature and enhances social skills through group activities.
How to Choose the Right Educational Toys
Age Appropriateness
Selecting toys that are appropriate for your child's age is crucial for their safety and developmental needs. Most toys come with age recommendations, but it's essential to consider your child's unique abilities and interests.
Safety
Ensure that the toys you choose are made from non-toxic materials and do not have small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Always check for safety certifications and reviews from other parents.
Educational Value
Look for toys that offer educational benefits aligned with your child's developmental stage. For younger children, toys that promote sensory exploration and basic motor skills are ideal. For older kids, consider toys that challenge their thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Durability
Children can be rough with their toys, so durability is an essential factor. Invest in well-made toys that can withstand active play and last for years.
Interest and Engagement
Choose toys that align with your child's interests to ensure they remain engaged. If your child loves animals, for example, consider animal-themed puzzles or books. If they enjoy building, construction toys will keep them entertained and learning.
Versatility
Toys that can be used in multiple ways offer more value and stimulate creativity. Building sets that allow for various constructions or art supplies that can be used for different projects are excellent examples of versatile toys.
Top Educational Toy Brands
Lego
Lego is a household name known for its high-quality building sets. These toys encourage creativity, spatial awareness, and engineering skills. Lego sets range from simple blocks for younger children to complex models for older kids, making them a versatile choice.
Fisher-Price
Fisher-Price offers a wide range of educational toys for infants and toddlers. Their products are designed to promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early learning concepts like numbers and letters.
Melissa & Doug
Melissa & Doug is renowned for its wooden toys and creative playsets. Their products include puzzles, art supplies, and pretend play items, all designed to stimulate creativity and cognitive development.
VTech
VTech specializes in electronic learning toys for children of all ages. Their products include interactive tablets, educational video games, and electronic books, all aimed at making learning fun and engaging.
LeapFrog
LeapFrog offers a range of educational electronics, including tablets, reading systems, and learning games. Their products are designed to adapt to a child's learning pace, providing personalized educational experiences.
Conclusion
Educational toys are more than just playthings; they are essential tools for a child's development. By choosing the right toys, parents can create a stimulating learning environment that fosters cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. Whether it's through building blocks, interactive books, or outdoor play equipment, the key is to select toys that are safe, engaging, and tailored to your child's unique needs and interests. Investing in educational toys is investing in your child's future, making learning a joyous and integral part of their everyday life.

AI and Creativity: Can Machines Be Creative Too?
The question at the heart of this discourse is whether machines can genuinely be creative. Can algorithms, driven by data and code, produce art, music, literature, and designs that rival human creations? Moreover, how does this relate to Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising? Let's explore this fascinating connection.
The Nature of Creativity
Creativity has long been considered a hallmark of human intelligence, rooted in our emotions, experiences, and imagination. It's our ability to connect seemingly unrelated dots, to devise novel solutions, and to express our thoughts and feelings through various mediums. But the idea of AI-generated creativity challenges this perception.
Machine Creativity
AI is a versatile tool. It can analyze vast datasets, recognize patterns, and generate content based on its findings. This capacity has been harnessed in various creative domains. For instance, AI algorithms can generate music compositions, write poetry, or even produce art.
One of the most famous examples is Google's Deep Dream, which uses neural networks to create vivid, dream-like images from ordinary photographs. Similarly, Juke deck employs AI to compose music tracks for videos, offering a library of unique tunes at the click of a button.
The intriguing aspect is that AI-generated creativity often involves a level of unpredictability. These algorithms can produce results that even their human programmers didn't anticipate, challenging the notion that creativity is solely a human attribute.
The PPC Connection
So, where does PPC advertising come into play in this discussion of AI and creativity?
PPC advertising is all about crafting compelling ad copy, eye-catching visuals, and optimized landing pages to engage potential customers. It's an art form in its own right. This is where AI can provide valuable assistance.
Tumblr media
AI-driven tools can analyze consumer behavior, segment audiences, and suggest personalized ad copy. They can also optimize ad placements and budgets in real-time, making campaigns more efficient. While this might seem a purely technical endeavor, there's a creative element to it.
For instance, AI can analyze which ad headlines or descriptions are resonating with different audience segments and make data-driven suggestions for variations that might be more engaging. It's not the AI creating the ad copy, but it's certainly contributing to the creative decision-making process.
The Human-Machine Collaboration
When it comes to AI and creativity, the most promising developments arise from the collaboration between humans and machines. AI can serve as a tool, a source of inspiration, and a catalyst for creativity.
For example, artists can use AI-generated imagery as a starting point for their work, infusing their unique perspectives and emotions into the piece. Musicians can employ AI-generated compositions as the foundation of a song, adding their personal touch through lyrics and performance.
In the world of PPC advertising, marketers can use AI insights to refine their ad campaigns. They can draw upon AI-generated suggestions to inform their creative choices, ultimately crafting more effective and engaging advertisements. It's a fusion of human creativity and AI-driven analytics.
AI and creativity are not mutually exclusive. Machines, while lacking emotions and imagination, can indeed contribute to creative processes. When applied to Best PPC Agency advertising, AI serves as a valuable tool, enhancing the creative decisions made by marketers.
The true potential of AI in creative fields, including PPC advertising, lies in collaboration. Machines can generate data-driven insights and suggestions, leaving the human touch to infuse these insights with creativity and emotion. So, the answer to the question "Can machines be creative too?" is a resounding yes, but it's in partnership with human ingenuity that the most remarkable results are achieved.

this has to be one of the most annoying debate this website has sprung. i think deep down we moslty agree on the same things. it's just that we refuse to use the same terms and focus on the same underlying issues + accusing people of being “reactionary” and failing to consider other forms of arts as Art (like collage, photography, pollock? is now thrown into the mix) is just so intellectually dishonnest. no one in their right minds thinks that and y’all know it but it's easier to think others disagree because theyre so close minded rather than for other more sensible or plausible reasons, so SO many people are gleefully falling for this bad faith rethoric.
plus people must have such a debased image of artists if they think they have the same working process as an artificial image generator on its own..💀 i know ai gives a seemingly more grounded and easier-to-grasp definition of what art and the process of creation might be that isn't so obscure, and thats why people hold on to it so damn tightly maybe, but i don't think ai cracked the code and managed to reduce Art to its bare essential. i think it's just another tool that wa can dispose of or not, much like photography is a tool or a medium that becomes art only if we make it: the forensic photographer taking pictures of a crime scene isn't an artists simply because he is using photography, but a dude using photography as a medium for his artistic expression of course is one but doesn't simply have to push a button, he has to go places to find his subjects and inspirations he has to choose the most appropriate camera he has to apply his technical skills,or lack thereof, that will influence the result because there are millions of ways a photo can be taken that depends on the angle, on the framing, or blocking, or the use of light, of shadow, of colors, of mouvements or sheer luck. it's not just a clic. and then he disposes of multiple ways in which he could develop it and/or post process it and present it to the world. that is the creative process. there are so many ways in which the results can deviate from its initial intentions. what i paint or draw rarely looks exactly like what i envisioned in my mind just because the creative process runs its own damn course, algorithmlessly, and because i am free to change my mind as things go, it's annoying sometimes i cant always control it and i am limited by my own abilities, experiences, cultural influences or mood. but that is the craftsmanship that art requires on topof intellectual or emotional intentions. craftmanship can require skills or effort whether high or low, it is not what dictates art's validity or quality, but it influences its result and that is something ai on its own can't fabricate or replicate because it fluctuates from person one person to another, to one culture to another, to one time period to another etc.
fabio comparelli's human evolution uses ai to craft his work that is real art because there’s intellectual intent: seeing how ai would interpret his prompts, the evolution of humanity, based on the materials ai is disposing, he raises the question how is the machine perceiving us humans? how accurate would that be? how limited would that be as well? is it really a machine reflecting our image or is it ourselves through the machine? and how would a representation of our own evolution so coldly layed in front of us will make us feel? (emotional intent) + craftmanship (or skills or effort whatever you want to call it): it took him two days to compile his findings into one video, maybe that doesn't sound impressive for some but i know my mom couldn't do it and if i did it myself it might have ended up looking different, i might have used a different music or sound design, or framing, or pacing etc etc. in this instance ai was used as a tool within an artistic project. ai isn’t art by its own mean. i've read an article about a bunch of guys (researchers at UCSF and UC berkley) developing an ai that helps giving people who suffer from speech paralysis a voice, so they could communicate faster, more naturally and efficiently. obviously that's awesome but again, not art. i can keep going, but idk, people who are worried about the use of ai within the entertainment industry and other different art fields don't necessarily wanna toss it in the bin! it's just that art, like the rest of things, is a defined thing and not everything blindly fits into it no matter how hardently we want to kiss technology's ass
its so funny when people try to argue that ai art isn't art and end up with totally incoherent definitions of art or just like lie about what happens when someone makes ai art

Everything You Need to Know About Non-Fungible Tokens
This year, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) appear to have exploded out of the Ether. From art and music to tacos and toilet paper, these digital assets are as valuable as 17th-century exotic Dutch tulips, fetching millions of dollars in some cases.
Tumblr media
However, are NFTs worth the money—or the hype? Some experts believe they are a bubble that will burst, similar to the dot-com craze or the Beanie Babies craze. Others believe that NFTs are here to stay and will forever change investing.
What Exactly Is an NFT?
An NFT is a digital asset representing physical objects such as art, music, in-game items, and videos. They are purchased and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and are typically encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos. Despite the fact that they have been around since 2014, NFTs are gaining popularity as a popular way to buy and sell digital artwork. Since November 2017, a whopping $174 million has been spent on NFTs.
NFTs are also typically one-of-a-kind, or at the very least one of a very limited run, with unique identifying codes. "Essentially, NFTs create digital scarcity," says Arry Yu, managing director of Yellow Umbrella Ventures and chair of the Washington Technology Industry Association Cascadia Blockchain Council. This is in sharp contrast to the vast majority of digital creations, which are almost always infinite in supply. So, assuming a given asset is in demand, cutting off supply should theoretically increase its value.
However, many NFTs, at least in their early stages, were digital creations that already existed in some form elsewhere, such as iconic video clips from NBA games or securitized versions of digital art that was already floating around on Instagram. For example, famous digital artist Mike Winklemann, better known as "Beeple," crafted a composite of 5,000 daily drawings to create "EVERYDAYS: The First 5000 Days," which sold at Christie's for a record-breaking $69.3 million.
Individual images—or even the entire collage of images—can be viewed online for free by anyone. So why are people willing to spend millions of dollars on something that they can easily screenshot or download?
Because an NFT enables the buyer to own the original item, it also includes built-in authentication proof of ownership. As a result, collectors value "digital bragging rights" nearly as much as the item itself.

Liebster Award
The ever-wonderful @ettawritesnstudies nominated me for this! Thank you so much, it means so much to me that you would consider me for it! I always love any way to spread some positivity and encouragement through the community :D
Etta explained the award as “similar to a writeblr tag game meant to introduce you to new blogs and get to know the authors behind them!” She was the one who brought it to tumblr, since it originated in blogs/writer’s websites.
Rules: 1. Thank the blogger that nominated you 2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you 3. Nominate 11 bloggers 4. Ask your nominees 11 questions 5. Notify your 11 nominees
Questions: 1. What’s your favourite part about the writing community?
I love the support everyone always gives to everyone else! Everyone I’ve seen has given nothing but support and enthusiasm for both their writing and others writing, and it really makes me happy to see such a wonderful community.
2. Do you prefer writing dialogue or description, and why?
I prefer description because I love the whimsy I can add to it. Being able to concoct a scene and describe things in ways other than “the sky was blue, the grass was green” is lots of fun. I’m also kind of bad at conversations irl (between my ADD and my minor stutter, I don’t tend to finish a lot of sentences lol) and I think that rolls over into my writing a little bit and makes dialogue a bit harder for me to figure out.
3. Do you have any creative hobbies outside of writing, and how did you get into them?
I am a self-proclaimed proud jack of all trades because I see a craft or activity and MUST try it out. My brain sees a tactile hobby and goes feral. I just really enjoy learning new things :D The recurring hobbies are drawing and very minor animations, but I also have been into embroidery, polymer clay, woodworking (miniatures eeeyyy) and cake decorating?
4. When was the last time you had a good night’s sleep?
Two nights ago? I usually get 7.5-8.5 hours of sleep because I just can’t function without sleep. Idk if you can call it a good nights sleep because I tend to wake up several times during the night (how many times is too many?) but I don’t usually have trouble falling asleep.
5. Are you reading/watching/listening to anything right now that you’re excited about?
I’m watching Ann with an E with my mom right now and it’s delightful! it’s a very very lovely show and it’s made me want to re-read the book.
I’m also keeping up with the Dream SMP minecraft series, and lemme tell you I have not been this emotionally invested in a story for a LONG time. Sure, I’ve been excited about some things in the last few months, but I don’t think I’ve really been attached to a story and characters like this for a while. (Plus, every single fanart and fan animation I’ve seen has been tremendously well done and more often than not gets me emotional lmao)
6. What’s your favourite YouTube channel?
I don’t know if I have a favourite? Because I hop around between interests so often I tend to change up my subscriptions a lot, too. Currently, I really like Cheyenne Barton, Technoblade, GeminiTay, and Annika’s leaf
7. What writing advice would you give your younger self?
DO WRITING SPRINTS! This is one of my favourite things now and it’s helped break the habit of “write one sentence, edit it, write another sentence, edit it, delete the first and re-write it” habit. Plus, it’s just a really good exercise to stretch your creativity.
8. What’s your opinion on color coding?
top notch! I think sometimes it can be overdone (throwback to jr. high me color coding everything in my notes to the extent that it was detrimental to my studying) but it really helps me out with things. I color-code vocab words and important persons in my class notes now :D
9. Is there a specific theme or aesthetic that underlies all your stories?
If there is, I haven’t seen it. I think it’s funny that Odds & Ends and The Paths That Bind are actually kind of similar (so far) except one is lighthearted feel-good comedy, and one is corruption and angst and trauma :’) Maybe there will be similar themes, but they’re both in the beginning stages so it hasn’t shown up yet.
10. How many WIPs do you have?
I actually only have two WIPs! I have a few other concepts I’d like to explore in the future, but they’re currently sitting as one-sentence explanations in my notes folder and will probably stay that way until I figure out a more solid plan for Odds & Ends and The Paths That Bind. My irl schedule is very hectic and I’m an inherently tired person, so I’m trying to be more intentional with creative projects and realistic on which ones I want to be able to dedicate my time to.
11. What’s your wildest dream as a creator? (For example, do you want to see fanart of your ocs, have a movie made of your book, etc.)
I adore the idea of someone making an animatic or one of those lyric comic things (idk what they’re called) for The Paths That Bind. So much of it is inspired by music and I’d love to see other people’s takes on the history and events of the story and which songs they would associate with it.
Questions for my wonderful nominees!
1. What’s the earliest story you remember writing? How old were you? 2. Are any of your characters “comfort characters” for yourself? 3. What’s your go-to snack? 4. How do you visualize your wips? Movie-format? Animatic? Comic? 5. What’s your favorite part of each season? 6. Would you rather one (or all) of your wips be made into a movie/tv show or a graphic novel series? 7. Is there a particular form of imagery or symbolism that recurs a lot in your stories? 8. What’s a book (or book series) that you absolutely adore and wish everyone would read? 9. Tell us about your favorite video game and why you love it! (If you don’t game, tell us about another hobby you adore!) 10. What’s the last dream you remember having? 11. How has your writing changed from when you first started? (We all get better, but have you noticed any distinct changes? More/less dialogue, different kind of descriptions, different narrative styles?)
Here are 11 wonderful, talented writers I’ve met here, and everyone should absolutely check out their blogs!

Why You're Failing at adobe project management jobs seattle wa
Tumblr media
This is a simple enough process for the editor or their assistant, and much less error-prone than letting the colorist (who knows nothing about your workflow) do this on their own. They import the project using Premiere Pro’s Media Browser, scrolling down the left-side to the Creative Cloud options. But they do NOT locate or link to the media from the Media Browser panel. Team projects and Shared projects both allow multiple workstations to open the project file. The traditional Premiere Pro project is not designed to be shared (and can be corrupted if multiple users try to work within it simultaneously).
The tool integrates well with the additional Adobe apps and services that expedite your creative work. Trello is a popular task management tool that helps creative teams collaborate more efficiently. Do you need to enhance your knowledge about post-production software? Here’s a look at the key tools in all the most prominent areas of post-production.
The Essential Guide for Crafting Film Budgets
Tumblr media
can easily access and get up-to-date information on people availability, overtime, vacations, post production editing jobs los angeles and other key project management aspects. Now, regardless of what you answered to the fourth question, we do suggest going with an all-in-one software to get real time and up-to-date full overviews to be able to mangage all your projects more efficiently. Studio Suite is extensible into your other software platforms.
Today, MAM and DAM are often confused as they're both solutions used to store, manage, and access digital assets. In addition, they both streamline the content creation and distribution processes. Even small facilities can have hundreds of terabytes of files across multiple hard drives, network locations, and tier 1 shared storage.
Intuitive, user-friendly, and sleek, this filmmaking software is used by both huge studio productions and YouTube videos, alike. This filmmaking software is a must for video teams working remotely.
What is conforming in editing?
So, what are the best export settings for YouTube? According to YouTube's own recommendations, videos should be exported in MP4 video format, using an H. 264 video codec. The ideal resolution and frame rate will depend on your source footage (YouTube supports several frame rates between 24 and 60 fps).
Asset Management features an industry-proven, services-oriented architecture (SOA) that integrates easily into your existing infrastructure. Through a variety of APIs, it integrates easily with over 100 media solutions. And it’s easy to add new servers, storage, encoders, applications, and more as your business grows, as MediaCentral plays well with everything. Need to move media between multiple locations, such as when supporting production at a live event or for video post-production?
The computer kept track of all the numbers in this offline stage of the process, and when the editor was satisfied, output them as an Edit decision list (EDL). This EDL was used in the final stage of the process, the online edit. To make it work, special computer to video tape recorder (VTR) edit interfaces had to be developed, called I-Squareds. Most digital devices and platforms support MP4, rendering it the most universal video format around.
Assign every task to a crew member so they can take full responsibility for it. So, if something goes wrong, gets delayed or I have any questions, on the production day, I know who to address for every question that I have.
Need to send a large media file, CAD drawing, video file or graphics-heavy report with co-workers or friends? You need a suitable software like Premiere Pro from Adobe Systems Incorporated to open a PRPROJ file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" (Windows 10) or "Windows cannot open this file" (Windows 7) or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. Once you flatten the compositions into video clips, you cannot edit the original compositions in the newly created project. You can however edit the original compositions in the source project using Dynamic Link.
How do I share a Premiere Pro file?
Today, you can buy Premiere Pro by choosing one of three options: two versions of Premiere CC as well as CS 6 release. Professionals prefer the most expensive version, which comprises all Adobe products. But if you are a beginner, I recommend you to consider the Single App Plan.
Other sources in the literature focused on business environments related to film production, such as marketing, sales, and exhibition. In a study of more than 300 films to determine whether marketing could overcome poor quality, Hennig-Thurau, Houston, and Sridhar found that quality was the stronger driver of long-term revenue. Swami , in a more extreme view, pointed to the subjective nature of an audience's reaction to screened films, challenging the assumption that film revenues could be predicted or controlled. The connective production management platform that serves all kinds of productions and integrates with Showbiz Budgeting. Access 20,000+ Startup Experts, 650+ masterclass videos, 1,000+ in-depth guides, and all the software tools you need to launch and grow quickly.
No Film School
Meanwhile, enterprises and content marketers have a similar but much broader wish list. Of course, they want to be able to find their assets easily, but most often they want to use digital media “products” to reach prospective customers. They may use digital assets as part of a marketing campaign to reach a specific audience in a specific form, such as a digital or physical brochure, an email promotion, a movie trailer, or a website landing page. The digital media could be the product itself – a music collection, streaming television series, video, electronic magazine, e-book, or catalog – distributed in a variety of formats or forms. eMAM Cloud Service enables media companies to manage media on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.
Collaborative Editing & Project Management for Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC
There are presets like dialogue, music etc. and you can add unlimited custom ones. Once you add a role to a clip, it will become color-coded and more easily distinguishable in the timeline. Add to that the fact that Final Cut Pro has unlimited lanes coupled with a single magnetic timeline, and it’s easy to see how this can improve your workflow.

9 Enterprise Sources and Instruments That Will Explode Your Branding in 2019
One thing that you just’ll be taught in a short time, particularly on-line, is that branding is of utmost significance.
You’ll want to have a powerful and constant model to chop by the noise of the Web. Sadly, not everybody has the identical form of finances and wherewithal as large names like Nike, Apple, and Amazon.
What can small and medium companies, in addition to bloggers, startups, freelancers and entrepreneurs do to enhance their branding with out breaking the financial institution?
Simply as developments like social media, WordPress and WYSIWYG editors have helped to degree the taking part in discipline, the identical might be true with a lot of unimaginable branding instruments and assets. Many of those are remarkably cost-effective (and even free!) as a result of they’re designed round a self-serve interface that faucets into clever automation, machine studying and different evolving applied sciences.
Are you able to take your model to the subsequent degree?
1. mysimpleshow Video Creation Device
It’s apparent sufficient that video is taking part in an more and more outstanding position on-line. This isn’t simply true with vloggers and influencers who put themselves in entrance of the digicam for the world to see. Manufacturers and corporations can profit significantly from professional-looking movies to clarify ideas, supply walkthrough tutorials, and reveal how they’ll supply a superb answer to a typical downside.
Making that entire course of remarkably easy is an internet instrument referred to as mysimpleshow. What’s nice is that you just don’t have to do any of the particular video enhancing your self, nor do you want essentially to find the suitable visible belongings. As a substitute, all you do is put collectively a script of what you need the voiceover to say.
From there, mysimpleshow is ready to minimize that script down, zero in on vital key phrases, and seize some applicable paintings that may then be merely animated and rendered into a brief video. It’s highly effective, easy, and efficient, and a good way to spice up your branding in a enjoyable, visible and artistic manner.
2. Famoid Social Boosting Companies

12.4.1 Week 4 Discussion
1)  How has each course contributed to your personal and professional development as an instructional designer?
Mastery: Personal Development and Leadership This course served to ease me back into being a student. I used this month to establish good project management procedures which I practiced the entirety of the program and will continue to use post graduation.
Strategies for Learner Engagement This course gave me terminology for instructional design (ID) models I was already following – I just did not know the processes had names. Being able to communicate as an ID professional increases my marketability as a freelancer.
Visual and Verbal Communication in Instructional Design This course introduced me to Adobe Illustrator. I have used this software almost every day since completing the work for this class, for either work or personal needs. I have used it to supplement work presentations and created custom wedding invitations. It has proven very useful.
Corporate Training and Motivational Development This class presented a challenge in having to appear as a competent presenter on camera and handle all the behind-the-scenes production. If anything, it reinforced the importance of time-management and knowing how to minimize project components to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
Instructional Design and Evaluation This is the class demonstrated the difference between and instructional designer and a media specialist. I learned what it really means to implement the ID models covered in earlier classes and gained an appreciation for the amount of work that goes into the analysis phase.
Digital Media and Learning Applications While this course focused on coding, the more important lesson was on developing effective assessment questions. I now put a lot of consideration into just what the goal of my lessons should be. This makes it easier to craft assessment questions that measure how effective I am at achieving those goals.
Music and Audio This course introduced me to GarageBand. I have used it several more times in later classes and found it to be useful in polishing audio for video projects. There has not been an opportunity for me to use it professionally as my work is PC-based.
Filmmaking Principles This course has provided me with a skill set I will use continuously in my current job. We often host webinars and we now have the ability to edit the recorded versions. It will also be useful in creating new tutorial videos – a project I plan to launch mid-summer.
Game Strategies and Motivation This course helped me to clarify the difference between gamification and game-based learning. I have always tried to incorporate games or game elements into my trainings. Now I have the academic terminology to justify this approach.
Learning Management Systems and Organization This course forced me to consider instruction from a new perspective. I am used to live presentations where I control the visuals. Taking a lesson I am familiar with and adapting it to a new delivery platform where the control is the trainees was a valuable learning experience.
Media Asset Creation This course was a complete test of all the skills the rest of the program had helped me to develop. I feel confident that, were a need to arise to develop a multi-asset learning module in my professional career, I am well prepared to deliver a quality product.
Final Instructional Design and Technology Project This course has got me thinking about my strengths as an instructional designer. I am prepared to streamline my portfolio with a bent towards marketing myself as a freelance designer. I want to showcase the work I have done that makes me a front-runner for the work I want to do.
2) How well were you able to utilize the concepts and techniques you learned from the program (theories, systems design, interface styling, and the creation of multimedia content) as you designed, developed, and implemented your Final Project
The final project required me to draw on the majority of the skills that I developed as a result of completing the Instructional Design and Technology program. I chose an original project, preparing a thorough needs analysis that factored in research from subject matter experts, assessments based on the needs of my target audience, and learning objects developed with modern instructional theories as their base. I was able to design all of my graphics in Adobe Illustrator to create cohesion between resources and I was able to utilize almost all of the software that was introduced through the program (GarageBand, iMovie, QuickTime, PowerPoint). The end result is a project I am proud of and hope to see come to fruition as a training initiative at my job.
 3) Describe your most outstanding personal triumph in each course.
Mastery: Personal Development and Leadership I am proud of the paper I wrote for a week two assignment. It had been nearly a decade since I had done any academic writing and I was nervous about this particular component of graduate coursework. While this was not my highest scoring paper, I did well enough to know I could keep on doing it. This was one challenged mastered, one difficulty overcome.
Strategies for Learner Engagement This class provided the first opportunity to work as a team. My default position in most group projects is “organizer” so I consider it a triumph that I was able to take a step back in week three, taking on a supportive role instead of trying to run the show. Choosing to trust others, especially when we had so little time to learn each other’s work habits, was a big leap for me but one I am glad I made. Working together, my team delivered a strong project and we built a bond that has stayed strong the entire program.
Visual and Verbal Communication in Instructional Design My world changed when I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator. I no longer need to glean Google for free-use images or lament the fact that the visual I want either does not exist or is not free. Now, I can create almost any visual I could want and my work has improved exponentially since I was introduced to this program.
Corporate Training and Motivational Development My greatest achievement for this course was looking directly at the camera. I speak in public often, sometimes to crowds of 50 or more, and I love it and have been told I am good at it. However, it turns out I am shy about on-camera work. Once I realized the best product could only be achieved by acting as confident on camera as I do in front of a classroom, I was able to overcome this roadblock and create a quality video.
Instructional Design and Evaluation The project for this course was a beast. Initially, I was frustrated by the assignment and dreaded the time I had set aside to work on it. Eventually I was able to turn this frustration into motivation, determined that I would not be beaten by this assignment. This worked so well, and I did such a good job, that Dr. Deason asked if he could use my final project as an example for future classes.
Digital Media and Learning Applications My most outstanding triumph for this course was customizing the interactive quiz we had created following a Lynda.com tutorial. It is one thing to follow step-by-step directions, it is quite another to figure out how to freestyle a design when very little of the earlier instruction explained the cause and effect of specific actions.
Music and Audio I am very proud of the final project I created for this course. Developing a story from limited resources to match predetermined visuals, building a soundscape, and performing voice work were all new to me. I feel my final cut could absolutely be used as a learning tool at the historical park featured in the video.
Filmmaking Principles My most outstanding triumph in this class was overcoming complacency and forcing myself to reshoot footage. Through personal observation and peer and instructor feedback, I saw there were flaws in the original material. Even though what I had could have been fine with a little editing, I chose to go for quality and put in the extra effort to get fresh material that I incorporated into my final draft.
Game Strategies and Motivation The game I created for this course is my piece de resistance for the entire program. It was a concept I had started developing several years ago and I love how I was able to refine my ideas and create what I believe is a marketable training game. The next step is to create a prototype so I can test it with real trainees.
Learning Management Systems and Organization My triumph in this course was integrating an existing lesson into a new platform. To become a well-rounded instructional designer, I needed to learn to work outside of my comfort zone (live presentations) and embrace distance-learning techniques.
Media Asset Creation The interactive infographic is the best thing I created for the final project. I designed 10 original graphics to represent individual college expenses, wrote clear, comprehensive copy for each one, and blended everything into a clean, attractive design that incorporated rollover pop-ups. It perfectly illustrates my design aesthetic and attention to detail.
Final Instructional Design and Technology Project My triumph for this final course was having a portfolio to be proud of. In looking back at my collection of projects, I see how much work I have put in this last year. If anything, I can say I have earned this master’s degree. I look forward to sharing this with my family, friends, and coworkers who have supported me through the entire process.

Multi-Platform Delivery MDM650
Connecting, Synthesizing, and Transforming:
Four problems were approached in the branding and marketing for 500Cal, the formation of packaging design, the production of a website, the social media design composition, the generating of guerrilla marketing tactics, and finally completing the style guide. Connections made first and foremost through what the client desired and with the research assembled in order to produce designs that meet with the brands attributes which are Dependable, Inspiring, Energetic, and Sensible. Connections existed through the readings and instruction of Best and Beaird & George. Best (2006) articulates, “Brands manifest themselves in the products, services, sites and experiences of an organization (p. 100, para. 3). Making sure that the brand consistently speaks the same language is extremely important. The design process of a website, the discovery, exploration, and implementation phases made for a well-guided progression into an effective website (Beaird & George. 2014). These phases allowed for a website that released a user-friendly experience with energy and viewer interaction. Connections likewise formed when researching just what was necessary to craft successful guerrilla marketing tactics. Lum (2016) declares, “Face-to-face marketing “builds confidence and trust between you and your potential customer,” and creative guerilla marketing has the potential to make a lasting positive impression on consumers.” Synthesizing came into play with the creation of packaging mockups to show what different elements would look like, which transformed into making sure that they could be sustainable for the environments safety. Synthesis developed through bringing together features for the website. These elements included items that would cause the viewer to connect with the brand through interactive menu’s, links that provided the journey through the site, transforming the website into a well-navigated structure. After creating the website, the social media banners became a factor that needed to emulate what the online presence should portray. When synthesizing the guerrilla marketing tactics, what came together was the creation of a car wrapping, an interactive billboard, a tweeting vending machine, and the great reveal logo signage. The transforming of these components exhibited a unified design that converted into customer luring entities. Reflecting back on the creation of these facets, they provided a sense of connectivity, excitement, and vibrancy for 500Cal, craving and contemplating being able to be a patron of this restaurant that now feels real.
 Solving Problems:
The problems faced included the fabrication of packaging, the forming of a website and social media presence, and guerrilla marketing considerations. The packaging was solved through much research, it was decided that the packaging should be of sustainable materials that didn’t have the usual fast food restaurant quality or appearance. The packaging needed to feel energetic, inspiring and dependable to customers. The packaging consisted of recycled plastic cups, containers, and bottles, biodegradable boxes, and recycled paper wraps. The target audience for this restaurant will care that 500Cal cares about the safety of the environment. The solution for the website anticipated ensures navigation that excites the next movement throughout the site. There are sections within the site that inform, interact, and inspire the viewer to induce a loyal customer. Links provided on each page gave insight to social media, which pulls the customer in even further to the brand. The social media pages are just another way of establishing the brand. The resolve for guerrilla marketing came about through four different events, the car wrapping, the interactive billboard, the tweeting vending machine, and the great reveal logo signage. The car wrapping comprised not only a vibrant, eye-catching design but a memorable speaker topper that would make deliveries and travel throughout the community. A jingle that played through the external speaker above grasping the attention of those it passed with energetic music, and the jingle, “Healthy Eating Made Simple for You, Me, and the Community, Yes that 500Cal!” There will also be information provided by the external speaker of the current sales and events. The next resolve included an interactive billboard that is set up at a bus stop and will encompass a game where viewers can guess the calories of different meals that are served at 500Cal, and if they come within 5 calories of the correct number, they will receive a printed coupon to use for a meal. This interactive guerilla campaign allows the target audience a chance to learn about the companies’ meals and draws them into the restaurant at the same time. The third resolve entailed a tweeting vending machine that is technology savvy through facial recognition. The Tweeting Vending Machine pulls the viewer into the restaurant through social media, free gear, and an attached coupon. As the viewer begins, they are prompted to create an account with 500Cal’s MVP Rewards Club, which then guides them to tweet a message to @500Cal and allows them to choose the gear that they desire. State of the art technology is present in the tweeting vending machine through facial recognition so they will be restricted to retrieve more than one gift. This gear could include t-shirts, hats, water bottles, and cooling towels. The last resolve comprised of signage that would release one element at a time to reveal the logo and gift makes a statement from the highway. The signage would be mounted along the roadside for passersby to view as they drive by. They would be mounted about 20 feet apart, and when the passerby reaches the last sign, it will reveal the entire logo along with a call to action that provides a discount code. The final problem solved consisted of creating an eflip guideline that would embed media for a view of animations and videos.
  Innovative Thinking:
When contemplating the creative thinking in an innovative way the packaging makes a statement through sustainable measures, which is not always considered. The website encompasses two interactive menus, a regular menu and a catering menu. These menus literally look like the menu from the restaurant with its flip of the pages that allows one to click on the item and learn about the product along with its nutritional value, calorie, ingredients, and ability to add it to the cart. Innovative thinking also came into play with the custom-made speaker topper on the car wrap, the interactive billboard that prints out coupons, and the tweeting vending machine with facial recognition. Innovative thinking entered the scene by way of presenting the brand style guide, as to provide a professional appearance to the standards of 500Cal. It felt satisfying to be able to think out of the box for a company that is rare in form and well needed in today’s community.
  Acquiring Competencies:
Competencies obtained during this workshop involved working with animated gifs for a seamless view of how the website would be observed from different devices, desktop, tablet, and phone. Research provided competencies with the digital magazine publishing software of Yumpu. Yumpu granted the ability to optimize the 500Cal Branding Guidelines pdf file into a multimedia magazine that could embed videos without guiding the viewer away from the document. Competencies gained from using after Adobe Affects Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro included the use of tracking graphics to footage, slowing video footage down to speed sufficient for viewing and the collaboration of both applications for a productive visual. These competencies will allow for future efficient projects that can take developments to the next level.
