I found this little dragonfly praying on my front steps at the beginning of the weekend. I put my grocery bags down and prayed with him. I thought maybe he was dying because it was so cold. After 15 minutes or so he fluttered up, flew around me and took off. This moment filled my heart with so much love and hope. These are life's little moments where if we pause, we can learn so much about ourselves and the world around us. Life is so much richer when we honor that connection that we have to everything in the Universe. Why watch dancing with the stars...when you could be out dancing under them yourself? Birthed a new drum with Dragonfly Magic. I was told many years ago that Judy O'Donnell is fantastic to make a drum with and until yesterday it hadn’t aligned. I bought a drum at the first lockdown from her with turtle medicine and realize the meaning and how special it is as a part of my tools. I was there with my beautiful friend Julie A Ryswyk and we had a full adventure day. The story of the Dragonfly was that they were once dragons though the coyote tricked one into transforming (and playing small). My spirit animal is a golden dragon and I’ve been playing a little small lately - ironic much - thanks team 🙏🏼🐉💜 I also found a dragonfly today who was injured so I helped him into a plant so he wasn’t stepped on - I love the alignment) There were so many moments throughout the day; laughing, crying, heartfelt appreciation, connection, learning, sharing and lots of singing. I belted out I AM Woman while threading my string and I felt this pure love embrace of courage & strength come through from so many grandmothers (it was also the first time I’ve been really be able to sing since being sick) Making the drum stick was so fun and informative too so much yummy Magic that will be cultivated with this drum. This afternoon I was teaching miss 3 how to bang the drum and say blessings (she loves it) tomorrow is going to be a fun day for us when we play together. Thank you for all of the wonderful souls in the group so munch gratitude to have gone through this process with you all. Sitting at the Duck Pond in #tucson this morning getting myself back to center. I see the most amazing bright pink #dragonfly I asked her could I have her picture?
