Insectod dragon was created to be an rival to Stegodragon ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1evAK ), as they will disput the same environment and prey, just as lions and hyenas.  But in this project I focused more on this dragon design, instead on anatomy itself, as I did on previous project.  With insects, I found many interesting shapes and ideas for this creature design. This particular dragon creation was somewhat inspired by bobcats. Literally, I looked up the word “animal” and the first image that came up was that of a bobcat. It’s was fun and new incorporating bits of bobcat into a dragon

¿TIENEN ALGÚN MÉTODO PARA ORGANIZAR SUS #IDEAS? Mucha gente, no sólo los artistas, hace bocetos o garabatos. Eso ayuda a materializar las ideas, a organizarlas, a plasmarlas para no olvidarlas, y también para calmar los nervios y la ansiedad. Hay veces que las ideas llegan difusas, como nubladas, y hace falta esclarecerlas antes de decidir qué hacer con ellas. El #lápiz y el papel están siempre a mano para asistirme en el proceso, trazando inconscientemente, en un estado de trance, garabatos que más tarde evolucionarán en un #boceto sobre el cual luego podré trabajar. Así fue como surgieron estos #dragones (y otros tantos más), algunos de los cuales desarrollaré en el futuro próximo. Es una estrategia que les recomiendo mucho😉 ¿Ustedes tienen algún método para organizar sus ideas o sus pensamientos?
