I decided to start flufftober, because damn, I need it. Prompts under the cut, they were made by @ tomseus on X.

Day 1, "Kitty-ing around". I chose "shapeshifter" part of the prompts.

Drew my Lunar, First-among-the-Chickadees (here you can see her in her human form), and her Dragon-Blooded adventure companions, Elof (Air Aspect) and Leroy (Fire Aspect) of House Ledaal (they are brothers, though not by blood).

Yeah, Dragon-Blooded who were born and grew up in Realm are traveling with Lunar. They did hate eachother before, but now they are just annoying eachother sometimes. Even centuries worth of animosity and a lot of personal trauma can be cast aside when a duet of Abyssals haunts amd torments you for long enough.

But it's a long story for another time, I suppose. Definitely not something you'd associate with fluff 😌

The Characters

This is Dippo. Dippo is a dragon, or at least that's what Dippo's telling everyone, even random persons on the street, because this is important! She's not a Kobold, even if some people say that, in her heart she knows, she's a baby dragon, still growing and soon she'll be the mightiest dragon of them all, you'll see! One of the funniest and also most tragic characters of my campaign. Vess, who wrote the story of this kobold dragonblood sorcerer, has a knack to make the most fun and also most disturbing characters possible. I love Dippo and you should too...and don't stare too much, else you want your purse be stolen by that nervous lil' kobold infront of you.

DragongeimDragongeim is a cold, rugged land far to the north of the clover kingdom, where blizzards rage for months and the sun barely graces the skies during the winter months. The land is dotted with towering mountains, vast tundras, and deep forests filled with mythical creatures. The people are tough and resilient, having learned to survive in the harshest of conditions. They are a proud race, some are descendants of dragon-riders and warriors who share a bloodline with these mighty creatures. Dragongeim has a rich history of dragon bonding, but the people’s most revered tradition is the preservation of their ancient bloodline—the Dragonblood, which is thought to give them the strength, courage, and power to survive in the unforgiving world. In Dragongeim people are born withou magic, but have a lot of naturale mana. 

The dragon riders: 

Nyxara Rhys(Leader - Pride)

Appearance: Nyxara stands out with her messy blond hair (she got that from her father Julius, our dear wizard king), in a thick braid, and dark gray eyes. Her Viking-like appearance is marked by a robust, athletic build. She often dons practical, battle-ready attire suited for both dragon riding and combat. She’s rarely without a mischievous grin. She wields a self crafted bow and thin arrows, her preferred weapon. The bow allows her to channel her time magic through it, making her strikes both precise and deadly.

Personality: Nyxara is known for her loud and brash demeanor, qualities stemming from her upbringing in a competitive and wild environment. She is highly intelligent and often challenges authority, particularly in relation to her strained relationship with King Alaric. Despite her tough exterior, Nyxara is fiercely loyal and protective of those she cares about.. Her pride comes from her desire to see her team succeed, and she takes their victories personally.

Dragon: Thalorian is a magnificent dragon with shimmering iridescent scales that reflect deep blue and silver hues. His powerful, broad wings make him swift and agile in flight, while his connection with Nyxara enhances both their abilities. When combined with Nyxara’s time magic, the two become an unstoppable force, striking with both precision and elemental fury. Together, they create chaos in the skies, embodying the wrath of a storm and the flow of time.

Roderick (Second-in-command - Greed)

Appearance: Roderick has platinum blond long hair tight half way up. He has a sharp, piercing eye and a lean, athletic build. He wears an eye patch on his right eye. He lost it when he tried to claim a dragon. Despite his serious appearance, he always has a cheery, naughty expression, showing his softer side for those around him.

Personality: Roderick’s greed isn’t for wealth or power—it's for his comrades’ success. He’s constantly pushing the others to be the best version of themselves. A perfectionist at heart, he wants everything and everyone around him to reach their maximum potential. He’s supportive and often acts like an older brother to the group, always nudging them to try harder. His “greed” is for a stronger, united team.

Dragon: Gullinbursti – This golden dragon may look flashy, but its true wealth is in its unwavering loyalty and strength. Roderick and Gullinbursti are a team that always focuses on pushing limits, always wanting more from each other and from the world around them.

Bjorn (Wrath) -The Giant with a Heart of Gold

Appearance: A giant man with a wide, infectious smile, Bjorn’s bright blue eyes twinkle with warmth and mischief. His large frame might be intimidating, but he’s more like a friendly bear who enjoys making others laugh.

Personality: Despite embodying Wrath, Bjorn is one of the most cheerful and laid-back of the group. He loves telling stories, laughing heartily, and making sure everyone around him is happy. His anger only surfaces when his friends or loved ones are in danger. When that happens, the shift from jovial Bjorn to an unstoppable force is shocking to everyone around him.

Dragon: Surtur – A fiery red dragon with a playful streak, Surtur loves to engage in fiery games of strength. However, when the stakes are high, Surtur’s flame and fury match Bjorn’s fierce loyalty to his friends.

Eamon (Sloth) The Lazy Genius

Appearance: A slender man with shaggy brown hair and a perpetually relaxed demeanor. Eamon always looks like he’s about to take a nap, but his eyes sparkle with quiet intelligence.

Personality: Eamon may seem lazy on the surface, but his "sloth" is actually a form of calculated efficiency. He conserves his energy, waiting for the exact right moment to act. Often found lying in a sunny spot, he’ll surprise everyone when he effortlessly solves problems or fights with incredible precision, as though he’s been planning every move while appearing not to care. He’s strategic in a way that keeps everyone guessing.

Dragon: Nidhogg – A slow-moving, massive dragon that mirrors Eamon’s demeanor. But when called upon, Nidhogg shows incredible power and precision, moving in perfect synchronicity with Eamon’s quiet genius.

Cian (Lust) - The Adventurer

Appearance: Charming and roguishly handsome, Cian has tousled brown hair and piercing blue eyes that always seem to be searching for excitement. He dresses casually but confidently, with a constant playful smirk on his face.

Personality: Cian’s “lust” manifests as a love for adventure, fun, and spontaneity rather than romantic pursuits. He’s the life of the party, always encouraging the group to try new things and live life to the fullest. His passion for experiencing new things can get him into trouble, but it also brings a contagious energy to the team. Cian is all about living in the moment and finding joy in every situation.

Dragon: Fjalar – Sleek and graceful, Fjalar is just as restless and curious as Cian, always ready to dart into action or explore the skies for new adventures.

Thorstein (Gluttony) - The Joyful Giant

Appearance: A giant of a man with a hearty laugh and a broad grin, Thorstein’s size is more due to his towering height than weight. He has a jovial face with a thick beard, and he’s always the first to suggest a feast or celebration.

Personality: Thorstein’s "gluttony" is for life itself. He’s not just obsessed with food and drink (though he loves both), but with enjoying every single aspect of living. He’s the one who encourages the group to relax, celebrate victories, and enjoy downtime together. His energy is infectious, and while he may indulge a bit too much at times, he keeps the team's morale high with his constant joy and larger-than-life personality.

Dragon: Jormungandr – A massive, slow-moving dragon with an insatiable appetite, but like Thorstein, Jormungandr is all about living large. Together, they’re a force of nature, bringing joy and chaos in equal measure wherever they go.

Lachlan (Envy) - The Quiet Learner

Appearance: Lachlan is lean, with dark hair and calculating eyes, but he often has a wistful smile on his face. He tends to stay in the background, always watching and learning from others.

Personality: Rather than being consumed by destructive envy, Lachlan’s envy takes the form of admiration. He constantly strives to better himself by studying and imitating the skills of those around him. While he can sometimes feel insecure about his own abilities, he turns that envy into motivation to grow stronger. He is deeply loyal to the team, often downplaying his own role to push others into the spotlight.

Dragon: Fafnir – A stealthy, dark blue dragon that, like Lachlan, is always observing and learning. Fafnir is cunning and strategic, embodying Lachlan’s quiet desire to improve and outwit any challenge.

Team Dynamic:Nyxara leads with pride in her team’s strength, Roderick greedily pushes for their collective greatness, and each rider brings their own unique energy to the group, creating a tight-knit family of dragon riders who can laugh and joke in one moment and rain fire down on their enemies in the next. Their loud, brash dragonblood heritage shines through, but it’s tempered by an unexpected depth in their quirks and motivations.

Rion Thorne - The Bard of the Dragon Riders

Rion Thorne, the flirtatious and charismatic bard of the Dragon Riders, is a master of balancing chaos with his music and charm. Saved by Nyxara, he was adopted into the group as their bard. Though his role is to soothe and uplift, Rion’s playful demeanor masks deeper emotions, particularly when it comes to Cian, the rider of Lust. The bond between them is intense but unspoken, filled with tension and quiet understanding. They ride side by side, and while Rion flirts with everyone else, there’s something more between him and Cian, though neither speaks of it.

As a bard, Rion uses his music to calm the riders, offering comfort during dark times. His songs are his gift and his curse—full of passion, but hiding a deeper melancholy. Rion is more than just a flirt; he’s the emotional anchor of the Dragon Riders, reminding them that even amidst war, there’s room for balance, joy, and reflection.

Royal Bloodline and the Throne Dragongeim’s monarchy is unlike any other. To sit upon the throne, one must possess the legendary blood of dragons. This powerful legacy comes from an ancient pact between the first Dragon rider and a mighty dragon, who bound their fates together. Only those with dragonblood can be at the throne.

Some fun facts about the land 

Bond Beyond Mana: Dragon riders aren't just bonded to their dragons through mana; they also share a unique emotional connection. When one rider is injured, their dragon feels it, and vice versa. This bond is so strong that some riders have even learned to communicate with their dragons through emotions alone, bypassing words.

Draconic Tattoos: Riders who successfully bond with a dragon receive a special tattoo on their skin, often on their arm or back. 

Rider Training: Becoming a dragon rider isn't just about learning to ride. Riders undergo intense physical and mental training to match their dragons' strength. Only those who pass a series of grueling trials, such as enduring the “Trial of Fire” (surviving a fire-breathing test) or “The Sky’s Challenge” (a high-altitude endurance test), are considered worthy of a dragon.

Ancient Dragon Language: Riders are taught an ancient language that was once spoken by dragons. This language, known as Draken, is said to have been passed down from the first dragon-riders. It’s a secret tongue used for commands or spells that even other magic users can't decipher.

Politics of the land - Dragongeim Royal Council:

King Alaric: The King ultimately presides over the council, but the members hold significant sway over their respective domains. While Alaric rules with absolute power, the influence of his advisors shapes the direction of the kingdom. His ability to manage the ambitions and agendas of each council member is a key part of his rule.

Hand of the King (Gunnar Eriksson) Position: Older and Wise Advisor to the King Role: Gunnar is the King's closest and most trusted advisor. He is a man of advanced age with vast experience in statecraft and diplomacy, having served in the court for many years. 

Master of War (Einar Drakensdóttir) Position: The Elder Dragonrider, Military Strategist Role: Einar is Queen Ginevra's cousin and a seasoned dragonrider. His role in the council is to oversee all matters related to war and defense. Einar has fought in numerous battles, both defending the borders from invaders and participating in internal conflicts. 

Master of Coin (Freyja Skjoldsdóttir) Position: Treasurer, Keeper of the Kingdom's Wealth Role: Freyja is responsible for overseeing the kingdom's finances, including taxes, trade, and the allocation of resources. 

Master of Whispers (Haldor Valdisson) Position: Spymaster, Keeper of Secrets Role: Haldor is the King’s most trusted informant and spy. As the Master of Whispers, he controls the flow of information within the kingdom, including secrets, rumors, and intelligence. 

Master of Laws (Bjarne Thorsson) Position: Keeper of the Kingdom’s Laws and Justice Role: Bjarne oversees the kingdom’s legal system and is tasked with ensuring that laws are properly enforced throughout Dragongeim. He is a scholar of ancient laws and customs, interpreting and applying them in modern times. 

Master of Ships (Kjell Hrafnsson) Position: Admiral of the Fleet, Overseer of Naval Power Role: Kjell is responsible for the kingdom’s naval forces, ensuring that Dragongeim's coastlines and trade routes are protected. 

Lord Commander of the Landsguard (Prince Ragnar) Position: Prince and Commander of the Landsguard Role: Prince Ragnar, the King's son, commands the elite Landsguard, the kingdom’s military forces dedicated to protecting the lands from internal and external threats. Ragnar is the kings son is a highly ambitious, often pushing the boundaries of his authority, and he harbors a strong desire to marry Nyxara (who hates him deeply) and solidify his position. 

Grand Maester (Elrik Sigridsson) Position: Scholar, Advisor on Magical and Religious Matters Role: The Grand Maester is the kingdom's foremost scholar, specializing in magic, ancient texts, and religious matters. He provides the council with advice regarding magical phenomena, the history of the dragons, and the kingdom’s spiritual beliefs.

Oh fantastic. I love an unusual wood aspect.

Due to circumstances; he finds himself caught between the imperials or lookshy and a threat to creation. The armies overlook his expertise and talent for the natural area he came from and try to press gang him into joining their ranks (and therefor giving up his claim to his tribe). However it turns out the elemental bison are actually the purview of a lesser elemental dragon and will only listen to Spinel Sky, leading him to be instrumental in holding off the fair folk/shadowlands/infernals.

Compilation of my Elden Ring Tarnished OC, Silfr + some Lore info for new followers because of my last post! :'D

Silfr, the Dragonblooded | No Pronouns (Just use Silfr or Tarnished, Silfr responds to both!) | 7'4" Tall

A tall, towering, silent figure that stalks the dim halls of Roundtable and other places that Tarnished gather, Silfr is not one to make friends or forge close alliances.

The puffs of smokes between breaths when others catch Silfr lowering the mask to speak softly to the blacksmiths, the oddly slitted pupil peering out from behind the dark hood, Silfr gained the nickname of "Dragonblooded" through such strange mannerisms and features, with whispers of partaking in Dragon Communion being a suspected idea of such oddities, though the truth is something far darker, that Silfr keeps tucked deep away out of sight.

Character Notes + Lore Details Below:

Silfr is selective mute, very rarely speaks, more frequently just growls and makes bestial noises to communicate along with staring and body language.

Silfr's body was originally the size of a normal Tarnished, and wore many signs of battle and pain, such as the left eye originally being blind for example. Each Dragon Heart consumed gives Silfr strength and grows in size, and repairs the borrowed body further, but Silfr keeps the eyepatch even after the left eye was returned for comfort.

Draconic traits come and go with emotions or in combat, gains horns, larger clawed hands, and more prominent scaling. The tail always remains though.

Silfr will at some point become an unholy abomination of Draconic flesh, but will not become a Magma Wyrm like most dragon communion members! Silfr will be a towering monstrosity somewhere between a Magma Wyrm, Dragonkin Soldier, and true Dragon, and at this point would absolutely be considered a Boss.

A profaned desperate ritual of the Dragon Cult through a pregnant cultist forced to partake in dragon communion, only to then be sacrificed to birth a stillborn, draconic child is where Silfr begins, though not truly in the form Silfr takes now. The Dragon Cult, desperate to recall their ancient Dragon God back to the Lands Between, chose to call on their magics and priests to find a body of an unnamed warrior, and transfer the soul of the stillborn Dragon God into the new vessel.

Silfr is what woke up. Revered and praised for something Silfr did not understand, memories a haze of new and old, belonging and foreign, Silfr only knows that the Cult believes to have rebirthed their Dragon God into a physical vessel. And in time, Silfr would grow into the birthright of said God, taking on the draconic form of old.

Silfr wanted none of the worship and "destined birthright" spoken of daily. So Silfr fled at the first opportunity, donning black hoods and robes to obscure the draconic features left over, and roams the Lands Between.

And despite this, the call of this "destined birthright", be the Cult right or wrong of the truth of this "Dragon God", left an echoing void in Silfr's stomach. One that only is sated by the roar of battle, the flame building in a throat, the taste of a fresh dragon heart between lips. Silfr chases the call, hunting down dragon after dragon, eating heart after heart, regardless of where it will end.

It's all Silfr knows.

Aenor Targaryen, an infamous natural son of Princess Saera Targaryen. His father's identity remained an enduring mystery. Aenor was born in 98 AC and raised in the Free City of Volantis, where his mother ruled as proprietor over a famed pleasure house. Though born bastard, Aenor inherited the distinctive Valyrian features of House Targaryen - pale silver-blonde hair and deep purple eyes. Aenor himself made no public assertions for the crown much like his mother, though he took pride in his dragonblood heritage.

He is an irreverent and cocksure young man who revelled in the luxurious vices of the Volantene lifestyle. From a young age, Aenor displayed a keen intellect and a natural charisma that set him apart. He inherited his mother's sharp wit and political acumen, quickly learning to navigate the complex social dynamics of Volantis' upper echelons. Despite his bastard status, Aenor carries himself with the confidence and poise befitting his Targaryen heritage.

Aenor's relationship with his mother, is one of the defining aspects of his character. Despite the unconventional nature of their lives, Aenor loves his mother dearly and would defend her with his life if necessary.

As a boy, Aenor would often sit at his mother's feet, enraptured by her tales of dragons and the legendary Dragonpit of King's Landing. Saera's stories painted vivid pictures of scaled behemoths soaring through the skies, their roars echoing across the realm. These tales instilled in Aenor a lifelong fascination with dragons and a secret longing to one day see one with his own eyes.

Occasionally, in rare moments of nostalgia or vulnerability, Saera would share glimpses of her life as a princess in the Red Keep. These stories were always tinged with a mixture of fondness and bitterness, revealing the complex emotions she still harboured towards her past. Aenor learnt to treasure these rare insights into his mother's former life, understanding the trust she placed in him by sharing them.

However, Saera's recollections of her father, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen, were infrequent and laden with resentment. The lingering pain from their estrangement was evident whenever she spoke of him. This unresolved conflict between Saera and Jaehaerys left a lasting impact on Aenor, shaping his own complicated feelings towards his heritage and the idea of family loyalty.

Through his mother's stories and silences alike, Aenor developed a nuanced understanding of power, family, and the weight of the Targaryen name. This understanding would come to influence his own ambitions and his approach to navigating the complex world of politics and personal relationships in Volantis and beyond.

I'm still not 100% sure on most of this part of his lore i just wanted my sweet boy to have a dragon and see the rest of the world....but regardless of his illegitimate status, Aenor managed to claim a wild dragon in Essos. The beast, which Aenor named Naerion, was described as being a medium-sized dragon with brilliant orange scales that covered most of his body, while his underbelly and wing membranes were described as pale striking gold. His distinctive colouration made him easily identifiable in the skies, earning him the moniker "the Sunset Wyrm" among soldiers and smallfolk alike. His wings, when spread, cast a shadow the colour of sunset. During the Dance of the Dragons, Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, on behalf of his mother Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, sought to bolster the blacks' forces with additional dragonriders. Jacaerys dispatched envoys to Volantis, seeking out the Targaryen Bastard. He was initially reluctant to involve himself in Westerosi affairs. However, the promise of legitimisation and lands upon Rhaenyra's victory swayed Aenor and he agreed to cross the Narrow Sea with Naerion.

OCtober DAY 3: Old OC (i know im posting this on day 5. I know. I dont know what to tell you V_V):

I'm playing a trick on you because this guy is new AND old. Mostly old, because he actually dates back all the way to shortly after the creation of the FIRST EXALTED CHARACTER I EVER PLAYED. which may actually be like seven fucking years ago at this point. Anyway, meet Niraj.

Cynis Niraj is a dynast, a member of the ruling class of the (standard) Exalted setting. He belongs to a dynasty known as the Scarlet Empire, frequently shorthanded to the Realm. The Realm is made up of a family of Exalted called Dragonbloods, these being the weakest but most numerous sort, as their exaltation is ostensibly 'carried in the blood' rather than bestowed.

This creates about as many problems as you would expect it would.

Anyway, dragonbloods are aligned to one of five elemental dragons- fire, air, wood, water, and earth. A lot of them are descendants of the powerful figurehead known as the Scarlet Empress, and they tend to be rich as shit and probably inbred to some degree.

Niraj is no exception to the dynastic stereotypes; House Cynis made its fortunes on the imperial drug trade, as well as partnering with the guild on their... human trafficking ventures. He is a pothead wizard and a snobby little bitch, and the best friend of the Anathema Ledaal Tedeo, though that's on a need to know basis, and maybe three people need to know that. As a matter of fact he was at the scene of the crime when Ted was Chosen, except-

-Well there's an important thing you should know here, which is that in Exalted lore, Heaven deposed the Solar Deliberative thousands of years ago. By killing... Pretty much all of them. And then capturing as many of their exaltations they could find, and putting them in a big vault under the sea. And then creating a new religion which would brand anything that looked like a Solar (or Lunar, for that matter) as a demon-cavorting wild and wicked monster that must be hunted to extinction. By the Dragonbloods. Dragonblooded are not supposed to be friends with Solars. Solars aren't supposed to be human. Solars are supposed to die.

By association, one could also be branded as an anathema for his aiding and abetting a known anathema such as Ledaal Tedeo.

But we're not talking about Ledaal Tedeo. We're talking about Cynis Niraj, who is like, a little bit gay. Just like a leeeeeeeeettle bit gay. He's just gay and just sentimental enough that he's decided he doesn't want his best friend getting put down like a dog, even if it means turnabout is a fair excuse to also get put down like a dog. Every day his house of cards adds a new one to the stack. But it's fine, because water aspects are supposed to be good at the cloak and dagger courtly espionage thing. Its sort of their whole schtick.

Like any young dragon of the realm, Niraj is desperately obsessed with appearances. If you thought your highschool experience was bad, DBs are on a whole new level of psychological warfare being that the honor of their house is constantly on the line. They're trained from a young age to engage in cutthroat social combat with their peers, preparing them for a future where nearly anything about them is assumed to be weaponized against them. Niraj spent a long time teaching himself how to be """cool""". Stay on the periphery of drama, never be embroiled in it. He provided the benefits of a direct mainline to quality Cynis intoxicants to his peers as a social lubricant to keep himself out of trouble. He learned to let insults slide cleanly off of him.

This didn't really fully work for a couple of reasons; one being that there are certain personality types in Dynastic schooling that see a guy like that and wonder exactly what it will take to make him snap. Secondly, he did take an unusual fondness towards one of their mortal peers, widely disliked for continuing his schooling after failing to exalt (....as a dragonblood) during his adolescence. Niraj simply appreciated his capacity for earnestness, a trait which was vanishingly rare in his circles, and would inevitably rub off on him - at least a little bit.

All Niraj asked for in exchange was his charge's complete confidence.

Ted always thought of Niraj's companionship as sort of like having a pet leopard with an admirable track record of not mauling him. He certainly has the capacity to, if he really wanted. He chooses not to, for reasons one can pretend to fathom, but will never actually understand. It's almost as though he enjoys the sensation of human hands running through his soft fur, but its hard to say for certain.

Currently Niraj is stuck participating in a Wyld Hunt- the sacred mission partaken by dragonblooded shikari (and their immaculate coterie) to find and successfully bring down threats to the Order. Niraj is indispensable to this mission on account of valuable information he may have due to his proximity to the target (Or at least, the leader of the Wyld Hunt, Sesus Varen, seems to think.) Fortunately nobody on the team seems to think that the young water aspect would have the fucking cojones to feed them a constant influx of false information for several months, something which is rapidly driving him toward his breaking point. Unfortunately Ted is no longer answering his calls, and things are getting weird quick. To top it all off, perhaps the strangest detail is that the person Varen is hunting to the ends of the earth also happens to be his own son. And while Varen has never been a particularly attentive father, it almost seems a bit weird, the zealotry with which he pursues his mission, and the lack of hesitation at the prospect of completing its penultimate goal.

Will Niraj lose it all for the sake of authenticity? Or will Ted's lousy anathema hunter father finally get to him?

Only time will tell.

Despite not being a wood aspect, likes plants a lot. And not just the ones that make you funny, he also has (or had) a painstakingly maintained orchid collection back in school

I didnt talk about him publicly for a very long time specifically because I loved keeping my fellow players in suspense about what this guy was actually like. All they got was occasional magical correspondences and a name, no face, no house for a long time, no other identifies. It was fun. But I'm also very happy I get to talk about him finally :3
