Inspired by @rattusrattus3 NoFace elbow patch (go check them out on youtube they make some awesome stuff!) And spiraling into a whole themed shirt as i watched some of my favourite Ghibli movies again this is the proudest ive been of something ive made in a long time and it felt so good to be making!

summary: Hisashi (aka all for one) is a great dragon and while making a kingdom into his new hoard he finds a child named Izuku to add to his treasures, whether he likes it or not.

Top left: Hoshi Macmillan-Midoriya.

Background: Adopted by Inko Midoriya before her marriage to her husband Hisashi Akatani, a.k.a. The fierce hero: Red Dragon, and her subsequent name change. Hisashi didn’t want Hoshi to take his name as she wasn’t his actual child, but he consented to a full adoption for both Hoshi and Stella. Hoshi hyphenated her original last name with Inko’s maiden name as an homage to her late parents.

Quirk: teleport.

A very useful quirk, it allows her to open glowing blue portals on command.

Top right: Stella Midoriya.

Quirk: Whisp

Allows her to hypnotize others and draw them in with balls of light that activate when she is singing/humming.

Background: Adopted at the same time as Hoshi, Stella was, at the time, too young fully make that decision, so Inko gave her her name with an open invitation to change it back at any time.

Bottom-left: Hina Midoriya.

Quirk: Dracon

Quite literally, a dragon. She inherited intense draconian mutations from her fathers mother that had completely skipped his generation. This quirk allows her an unusual amount of stamina, a measure of regeneration, extremely tough skin, wings, scales over her face, scales over her upper back spreading from the base of her wings, and complete flame resistance.

Background: Born to Inko and Hisashi Midoriya, she is the third child, and firmly protective over what she considers her “flock”. Hisashi attempted to gain custody of her and only her in the divorce, and was overruled.

Bottom-right: Izuku Midoriya.

Quirk status: Quirkless.

He is supported and loved by his mother and sisters. It changes nearly everything.

Background: He is the fourth child in the family. As a young child his father attempted to convince him he was lesser because he was Quirkless. His sisters quickly found out what he was doing and took care of the situation, assuring Hisashi that, should he attempt it again, he would not receive a second chance. As it was, he was so furious that he attempted to take it out on Hina, under guise of “training”. Izuku, who saw what was happening, ran to tell his mother who promptly told him to stay in the kitchen and raced to the training room to threaten her soon-to-be ex-husband’s balls. Later, Hina told her twin that he was her hero, no matter what anyone else said about it, ultimately changing both of their views on the discrimination and ridiculous views cast on the Quirkless.

Random Thought: Why does all "90's Anime style" fanart just look like Sailor Moon?

Okay, obviously not all fanart looks like it. But if you were to type in "90s anime style" here on Tumblr or DeviantArt at the time of this post, it at least seems to be the majority stand-in for 90s anime aesthetic, right? Especially in the characters' eyes.

Don't me wrong, this is not a knock against Sailor Moon. It is a great anime, and the collective character designs by Kazuko Tadano, Ikuko Ito, and Mari Tominaga among other staff are iconic. So iconic that Tadano was brought back as the character designer for the latest Sailor Moon movies. That is quite the staying power.

But let's be fair, there are plenty of 90s anime out there that can also be used as inspiration. So, here are the names of 11 character designers alongside some gifs of shows/projects they worked on in that role. Some you may not know but you've seen their work, and others you probably know for their distinct art style or association with a franchise.

Things worth noting: First, the years listed here with some anime may reflect when the artists' work started airing, rather than when the anime itself actually started. Some folks listed here enter their projects mid-production in other roles, while others are in the role from the start. Second, each entry will list 1 or 2 projects aired/released during the 90s, but it will be noted if the artist's role continues beyond that with certain franchises. Lastly, these artists are listed in no particular order, so no "top 11" hierarchy. With that said, here's our examples:

Might've leaned a bit more on the Shonen side of things than Shojo, but I hope you can see my point😅. There are tons of 90s anime out there with their own unique feel and aesthetic. These are only 11 names that I found.

For anyone drawing 90s anime style fanart, I hope this has given you some inspiration, and I encourage anyone reading this to look up your favourite anime on Anime News Network's encyclopedia and see who's responsible for helping bring your favorite characters to life on screen and what other shows they've worked on.

Popularity poll poster

So, i can't stop thinking about popularity poll art by Horikoshi.

We can see Class 1a riding small dragons whild on the background flying gigantic green-white dragon. So why it is interesting to me?

1. We know from 1 chapter that Hisashi has firebreathing quirk. And Firebreath is mainly dragon thing to do.

2. Dragon not only huge and has red eyes.(i thing red eyes is pretty ominous) But also has THE SAME COLOR as Izuku. Same green shade.

3. Dragon seems looking at Izuku. And Izuku looks at dragon (or Shoto)

What could that art mean ? Please lets have discussion.
