İSTANBUL (İGFA) – Türkiye’nin lider sanayi kuruluşlarından ASAŞ’ın kurduğu ASAŞSANAT’ın geleneksel Alüminyum Heykel Yarışması’nın bu yılki kazananları belirlendi.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman Saim Tekcan, Prof. Dr. Meriç Hızal, ASAŞ Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Safa Bayar Yavuz, ASAŞ Pazarlama ve Kurumsal İletişim Grup Müdürü Demet İncirci, oyuncu ve heykeltıraş Arzum Onan, heykel sanatçısı Seçkin Pirim, Mimar Nevzat Sayın ve ASAŞSANAT Yöneticisi Heykeltıraş Mert Ege Köse yer aldığı jürinin seçimiyle yarışmanın birinciliğine genç heykeltıraş Aylin Taslak layık görüldü.

so my name is chamomile, i’m 21 years old, trans masc, poly, genderfluid. i’ve wanted bottom surgery for YEARS, i had my consult last year, when 2025 seemed ages away. now it’s EIGHT MONTHS. i need help. i’m scrambling to figure out logistics with finances, with flights, with getting my mom or partner to be my caretaker. i’m stressed. but i need this to happen. i should’ve made a go fund me a long time ago, but i was stressed about not knowing the exact amount. dr. chen and safa’s office has been great so far, but one critique i’ve heard is about communication. they seem to think i know more than i do, so i’ve had to ask a lot of follow up questions. as such, they thought i’d known about my date for almost a year, when i just fully realized. they had vaguely said something in march, but i hadn’t noticed a calendar invite they sent me for march 10th, 2025. it looked like just any other invite.

i have cigna insurance, they will cover 20% after i meet my deductible. i don’t know that i can meet that by the time the year turns over.

in all honesty, i probably need a lot more than 50k. but i’m not sure i can even get half of that.

financial factors are: the hospital, procedure, and anesthesia, which cigna should cover. they list covering phalloplasty and i need to ask them specifically about my plan and if getting vagina-preserving phalloplasty is any different. travel costs, so flights/ubers. hotel cost, it might be cheaper than an air bnb and potentially cleaner, cheapest ones i’ve seen still average to about $100 a night. and i have to stay at least four weeks after my surgery. adding to that that i’m asking off work for a month, and i won’t have pto.

What Is Unrah?

Umrah - one of the holiest experiences a Muslim can undertake, but what exactly does the pilgrimage look like? Here’s everything you need to know about the process, the benefits and the time of year most believers choose to go.

What is Umrah?

Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage taking place in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Every year, millions of Muslims travel to the holy city, home to the holy Kaaba or House of God.

The trip is more a spiritual journey than it is a physical one, with devotees expressing love and gratitude, whilst hoping to strengthen their connection to Allah SWT.

When Does Umrah Take Place?

One should note that there are technically two types of Umrah. The first is Umrah al Tammatu, which is an obligatory ritual performed just before Hajj.

The second, Umrah al Mufradah, can take place at any point throughout the year. It is also more affordable and takes less time to complete.

The rest of this article will focus on this form of Umrah, which unlike the Hajj pilgrimage is entirely voluntary. There is also no limit to the number of times one can partake.

Most Muslims choose to perform Umrah in Ramadan, believing there is higher mercy and acceptance of prayers. In fact, there’s even a Hadith comparing the benefits of Umrah al Mufradah in the holy month to those of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The History of Umrah

Historically, the very first Umrah was the pilgrimage made by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when he led the migration of Muslims from Madinah.

Since then, believers of the faith have followed in his footsteps. Nowadays, you see men and women of all backgrounds come together, regardless of ethnicity, culture or social class.

As for the word itself, it means “to visit a populated place” in Arabic. So what exactly does the pilgrimage consist of? And what are its associated benefits and rewards?

Umrah Rituals: Ihram

Umrah rituals are divided into three pillars. The first is Ihram, a sacred state in which Muslims must enter before reaching miqat, the principal boundary for the pilgrimage.

This is achieved through cleansing rituals upon reaching the miqat, alongside dressing in the prescribed attire, declaring their Ihram intention and reciting the Talbiyah prayer.

This is typically repeated until reaching the holy Kaaba. Upon arrival to the House of God, one should approach the Black Stone with the utterance of Takbir (Allahu Akbar).

Umrah Rituals: Tawaf

The Tawaf stage involves circling around the Kaaba seven times. Upon passing the Black Stone each time, one should honour it through kissing or pointing to it if from afar.

During each rotation, there is also a supplication dua that should be recited. Once complete, pilgrims pray two rakats, ending the seventh round exactly where they began.

Umrah Rituals: Sa’i

Next comes Sa’i, a practice that involves walking between the summits of the Safa and Marwa hills. This, too, is performed seven times.

The distance between the two is approximately 450 metres. During each ascent and descent, worshippers should recite duas or supplication.

In order to complete this stage of Umrah, male pilgrims must either shave or shorten their hair. Women must cut their hair by at least half.

Umrah Rewards

The Umrah pilgrimage grants spiritual, physical and psychological rewards.

Alongside repentance from sins and essentially a moral reset, it is believed to remove poverty from one's life.

“Aim to go for Umrah as much as possible,” says Sheikh Dr Yasir Qadhi during one of his khutbahs. “Spend for the sake of Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) will give back.”

Alongside renewed faith and connection with The Almighty, a sense of inner fulfilment is achieved. It’s “the way the soul feels, and the peace and accomplishment it demonstrates.”

Qadhi also touches on the bodily benefits of Umrah: “We all feel that boost, that energy recharge when we go to Makkah. We thank Allah that he has given us blessed times and blessed places to charge our batteries.”

Perjalanan Terindah Umroh 161123-241123

Perjalanan kali ini benar- benar tanpa perencanaan..walaupun selalu masuk dalam salah satu resolusi saya..karna doanya biar bisa pergi bersama pasangan.

Alhamdulillah Allah panggil dan memberikan kesempatan untuk menginjakkan kaki dibumi Nabi Muhammad swt.

Tak terbendung rasanya air mata mengalir begitu saja ketika saya pertama kali sampai dimadinah. Teringat dosa-dosa dan Allah mengijinkan untuk datang kekota ini dan ziarah ke makam Nabi Muhammad swt.

Ya Allah ijinkan saya, anak dan keturanan saya bisa sering-sering ziarah ke makam rasulullah.

Madinah kota yang sangat tentram

Jarak hotel ke mesjid nabawi lumayan dekat jadi kami pergi ke mesjid untuk melaksanakan shalat tp lebih seringnya bersama teman satu kamar. Selama dimadinah ada beberapa tempat yang dikunjungi tour beberapa mesjid dekat masjid nabawi, jabal uhud, dan kebun kurma.

Setelah 3 hari dimadinah kami melanjutkan perjalanan ke mekkah untuk melaksanakan ibadah umroh kebetulan miqot di bir ali.

Setelah miqot maka harus menghindari yg dapat membatalkan umroh seperti memakai wangi2an.sesampai di makkah ke hotel sebentar dan menuju masjidil haram untuk thawaf

Pertama kali didepan kabah hanya bisa terdiam begitu banyak doa yang ingin diminta tp seolah-olah sampai didepan kabah ini lebih dr yang saya mau..rasanya cukup

Selanjutnya melakukan thawaf 7 putaran dimana setiap melewati hajar aswad melambaikan tangan dan dikecup mengucapkan bismillahi allahu akbar dilanjutkan melewati maqom ibrahim sampailah dirukun yamani melambaikan tangan tanpa di kecup mengucapkan bismiillahi allahu akbar..antara rukun yamani dan hajar aswad membaca doa rabbana atina fid dunnya hasanah wafil akhirati hasanah wa qina adzaba nar

Thawaf sebanyak 7 kali..kemudian dilanjut shalat sunah thawaf dibelakang maqom ibrahim

Meminum air zam-zam sambil menghadap kabah dan berdoa dan disapukan kemuka 1 kali.

Dilanjutkan sai..dari bukit safa ke marwah kemudian tahalul..selesai sudah ibadah umroh kali ini..

Hari berikutnya umroh badal untuk ayah dan ibu saya.

Setelah badal umroh, saya hanya berdoa ya Allah sampaikanlah pahala umroh untuk ayah dan ibu saya. Saya tak dapat membahagiakan mereka berdua didunia semoga ini salah satu bakti saya..

Setelah kembali ke indonesia rasanya ingin kembali lagi kesini.

Ya Allah mudahkanlah rezeki kami sehingga kami dapat sering-sering melaksanakan ibadah umroh dan haji
