As you know, the war began on October 7 and lasted ten months. During this period, we were unable to obtain food, drink, or treatment because we did not have money.

There is no source of income for the family at the present time, so we are unable to buy food, clean water, and medicine, especially after we are afflicted with the ongoing infectious diseases spread in the north like Hepatitis C disease.

Our house has been damaged a lot since the beginning of the war. We are from the north of Gaza and we are still in the north and have not displaced to the south. We displaced 10 times from place to another seeking to safety .

On one's pat, on one's tod— It needn't mattered how she was surrounded by a vast amount of people, Doris still felt at the pit of her stomach the feeling of emptiness. Her nerves were practically going haywires, making her feel stiff and out of place. Many people were all huddled with their own groups preparing to receive the call for when the boat was ready to be boarded. There were smiles among the excited individuals, some clearly family, and others even...even clearly lovers.

Desolate eyes fluttered down towards the pavement as the uneasy feeling from within only intensified. Seeing these devotees... it made this all feel the more worse. Seeing them all smiling, laughing, holding one another— it brought her a great feeling of isolation and, dare I say, abandonment.

A loud bellowing horn blared out from the boat, forcing the dame to lift her head up and turn her attention to it. Following this horn came a quick announcement, a voice, seeming to be the captain, called through with a—

❝ TEN MINUTES BEFORE WE'RE READY TO BOARD !!! please begin to form a line near the dock ❞

Crowds passed by Doris in a hurry, beginning to line up in their designated areas- but she, she couldn't. No matter if the announcement was telling her to move, no matter if they were almost ready to begin their sail; her feet stayed glued to the very spot she was at.

Frantically, she began to look over the others heads, trying her best to see if she could spot Edgar anywhere. As she waited, she kept letting people cut past her, seeming far more concerned about where he could be rather than her departure or place in line.

❝ Edgar— ❞ Doris murmured out faintly to herself as she kept peering around the thickened crowd ❝ Where are you... ❞

Have any of you ever been scammed by Dori?

Tighnari: "I've never been scammed. However, after some haggling, I managed to get quite the deal on a particularly rare species of mushroom. Just a nibble of those specimens sent me to a whole new stage of enlightenment, one that I unfortunately don't recall much of. I believe my mind may still be recovering though. Sometimes I still catch myself hearing whispers in the treetops."

Collei: “…Ignoring that very concerning last part uh.. I think I nearly got scammed by Dori one time. Luckily, Master Tighnari was there to make sure I didn’t end up losing my well-earned mora.”

Alhaitham: "I never have been scammed by Dori. If anything, she stopped letting me come buy from her because she was getting "scammed." I wish that a certain someone didn't fall for such obvious tricks..."

Kaveh: "Admittedly, I have once when Alhaitham put me up to do some of his dirty work. He got so mad that he locked himself in his room for days."

Aether: “Dori… Hmm well I don’t think I ha-“

Paimon floats in quickly and pushes Aether’s face away.

Paimon: “Paimon has been scammed before! They claimed that this item Paimon bought was supposedly crafted by the archon in Sumeru, but when Paimon decided to try and use the item given to her, it said and Paimon quotes.. “Made In Inazuma.” Paimon flipped out! Paimon couldn’t even get a refund for the fake item! Never will Paimon buy from them again!”

i am Pissed at the murdoch writers for this episode. the costumers did nothing wrong btw they're all incredible and so so skilled and have done all their research clearly because !!!!!!! the corsets look fantastic (except the weird one that kills people but like yeah) ANYWAY. the tone of the story and of the women who are against corsets seems for the most part not to be a "women should get to wear whatever they want; corsets or not it's their choice" but "these old fashioned ladies are so stupid to have been wearing corsets for so long when they obviously bend and twist and permanently disfigure your body terribly forever and also everyone tightlaces" which. AUGH. my 1 thank is that there hasn't been a tightlacing scene. (yet. god forbid.) and that is !!!! so annoying to say the least like for ONE thing tightlacing was not popular and people only did it to like. idk like the degree that incredibly fashionable people nowadays go to extremes to be pretty or whatever and for TWO thing the corset which is the killer is SO BULLSHIT WHAT THE FUCK

1 what in the world why did julia fall over so fucking fast man like she felt great not 30 seconds before. i know from experience that it takes much longer to have trouble breathing even or whatever if you're wearing something like that AND IT DIDNT EVEN COVER ALL OF HER LUNGS. IT WAS AN UNDERBUST CORSET. LIKE BRO. ALSO IF IT MADE HER FALL OVER THAT QUICKLY SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN PAIN MUCH EARLIER IN PUTTING IT ON AND NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MOVE AROUND LIKE THAT LIKE GIRLLLLL

3 ITS BEEN PROVEN BY MODERN PEOPLE THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY MOVE AROUND AND EXERCISE LIKE NORMAL IN AN EDWARDIAN CORSET *SPECIFICALLY* (see: karolina zebrowska's video where she goes *rock climbing* in full edwardian dress) SO. JUST PLAIN INACCURATE.

Hold up! Question for you, you might have answered something like this before but I’m not sure. But does minhos cats live with the pack or with his parents? Because I would love for them to live with the pack (and I’m sure Minho would too). do they live with his parents because someone (we all know who) is allergic to cats?

Unfortunately, They do not, currently.

Because, the main reason, college students, right? they don't have enough time for pets currently.

But number 2, they were with Minho's parents for a long time, and he feels bad just taking them away from them when he's already left home.

So Soonie, Doongie, and Dorie live with the Lee parents for now.

They come visit Minho and the pack on holidays though! <3

It wasn't too long ago that Doris had been offered quite the delectable treat from the white hare herself. She'd made that Chamomile-Mascarpone Tart for her. Doris remembered feeling a ounce of jealousy while beholding the sweet treat offered to her. And by slight ounce, I mean, a tremendous amount. How did she know how to bake so well- and better than her?

Doris would offer a strained forced smile to hide her envy before taking a bite of the treat, and gee was it even better tasting than it was visually appealing. It only made the vigilance grow even more inside of her. Cocking her head to the side Doris would say " it's....OKAY. " Lying through her teeth while cause in all honesty, it wasn't 'okay' it was in fact amazing!

But it wasn't long for Doris to hurry up and run off to then prove she could do better. The moment she got home the mood shifted as she hastily gathered utensils and cooking supplies out the pantry. Her cooking was better- she wasn't going to let this woman try to beat her at her own game. It felt personal, least, to Doris it was personal. She made it personal.

When done, Doris hurried back over to where Vienna last was with a rather cocky attitude that was hidden by her over friendly voice. This was of course a facade and by no means did she even feel like acting friendly to this girl, but played the role the best she could.

" Oh my-- there you aAaAare! " Doris welcomed, baring her a toothy but forceful smile. " I know I didn't have to but...you made me SUCH a treat that I thought I could repay you by making you something in return. Im sure youre going to love it." That was when she'd reveal to the woman just what she'd made for her.

" I call it-- Doris's Ham Jell-O salad. A far more healthier and nutritious meal." Maybe at first glance it'd appear that she was doing this out of sabotage but no. Not at all. This was Doris's genuine cooking method and her attempt to outshine Vienna. " I know, hard to resist but please go ahead, indulge yourself. "
