I'm trying out Clip Studio Paint and have also been listening to Skyward again, so I gave Spensa a go.

(I really like Brandon Sanderson's books, and I want to do more of my personal interpretations of the characters, I already did a few Stormlight Archive sketches a couple years back that I shjould share at some point)

I am SO excited for Defiant to come out, you guys. I am bursting at the seams waiting for it. Can it be the 21st already??

(Also, senpai noticed me - Dragonsteel featured this in one of their fan art Fridays a while ago. I can't believe they noticed me. Except I can, because not enough people are doing art for this AMAZING series, so this is one of the only things that comes up, but *still*. I'm very proud that they featured it.)

I just wanted to come here and show the amazing plushie that my friend made me for my birthday some weeks ago!

It's Doomslug the destroyer!!!! Doomslug is my favourite character from the Skyward books next to M-bot and Rigmarole, and some time ago I showed one of my friend some photos of the taynix plushies that Dragonsteel makes because stuffed animals are my favourite things in the world and those specifically looked so cute and funny, and she remembered the name of the character (even when she knows nothing about these books) and took the effort to actually handmake this one. I really wanted to post it because the attention to detail is amazing and I think it deserves to be seen. Now I have a beautiful alien companion to read books with (and who'll finally encourage me to read Defiant and finish this series once and for all)!!!

15, this month has been a Thursday and I slept through most of English (1st)

we have to submit a research question about a topic that we interest in, we have to write 3-4 pages on it.

question is due as class ends

I had jokingly asked my teacher if I could do it on fantasy technology (fabrials because I’m currently re-reading Stormlight for the 3rd time in 15 months)

she says yes

later I panic and say “how do fabrials work” as my research question.

I now have to write 3-4 pages on Fabrials.

I cannot tell it this is a win or a loss

So I finally did read the three skyward novellas and I started Defiant yesterday. I am absolutely not terrified or stressed whatsoever about how the series will end 😃
