Headcanons: Overwatch Men Saying I Love You for the First Time (Pt 1.)

A/N: splitting these headcanons into 2 parts so that i can get the creative juices flowing for when i write the others. (hcs under the cut!)

Baptiste:

Baptiste, being ever the spontaneous one, first tells you he loves you during the movie night you have about every two weeks.

The two of you were huddled underneath a large, fluffy blanket, the film you chose somewhat forgotten as you idly chat about whatever comes to mind.

As you go to lean against his shoulder, you can hear a small breath hitch in his throat as his sentence fades off.

With a concerned look on your face, you pause the movie before lifting your head to look at him.

"Hey, are you okay?"

Baptiste nods his head in reply as he places a comforting hand on your arm.

"Yeah, I'm alright, it's just...You know I love you, right?"

Your eyes widen in surprise for a moment before softening again as you sweetly smile at him.

"I love you too, 'Tiste..."

Cassidy:

Cole is almost always on charmer mode with everyone he knows and comes across. It's part of how he got this far in life and how he prefers to be seen.

But when it comes to his first time telling you how he feels after you've just started dating? Completely different story. He's an absolute mess.

Here he is, pacing back and forth in front of your door with a gift in hand as he debates on how to admit his affections for you.

As he hypes himself up to finally knock and just tell you, the door creaks open with you peeking out from behind it.

"Oh, hi Cole! What can I do for you?" You say, fully pulling the door open as you greet him with a grin.

"H-hey, darlin'... I- I, uh, made somthin' for you. Here." An unprepared Cassidy stutters as he hands you his present.

As you look down at where your hand meet, Cole pulls his away to reveal a braided leather bracelet with round wooden beads interlaced.

Letting out an excited gasp, you place it upon your wrist before throwing your arms around the cowboy.

"This is amazing, Cass, thank you! I love you!"

Cassidy then chuckles deeply, wrapping himself around you as he leans into your touch.

"Love you too, sweetheart."

Doomfist:

Akande is very in tune with what he wants for himself, so when he realizes how he feels, he won't hesitate to tell you.

He'd call you to meet him somewhere private in Talon's headquarters, where once you arrive, he'd instantly start flirting.

"Ah, hello my dear. Looking as wonderful as always."

"Oh, thank you, Akande! Is there something you wanted from me?"

He would shake his head in confirmation before tenderly grabbing your hand and placing a kiss atop it.

"Nothing too serious, I assure you. I simply wanted to tell you that I love you. I hope you feel the same."

With a flustered expression, you'd whisper a small yes before he places his arms around around your waist in an unusually soft embrace.

Genji:

Genji says it during a rare quiet moment at Gibraltar.

After preventing a Null Sector attack on a town not far from base, you were helping him repair some of his cybernetic parts that got damaged in the fight.

In the middle of adding a few adjustments to one of the mobility mechanisms, he heaves out a deep sigh which causes you to glance up at him.

"I can tell you wanna say something, 'Ji. You can tell me if you want."

With a shake of his head, he lets out another sigh as he places a gentle hand on your face.

"Just... thank you for everything you do for me, my beloved. I love you."

"Love you too, Genji."

Hanzo:

If anyone would be the one to plan something to tell you his feelings, it would absolutely be Hanzo Shimada himself.

Even if he isn't normally one for romance, your presence in his life would have changed that

Hanzo would make preparations to meet you somewhere special so he could not so subtly show you off in public.

After eating a fancy dinner at an expensive restaurant and going on a walk through a park, he'd turn to look at you with admiration swimming in his eyes.

"I just want you to know that I love you very much. Even if I don't say it often, I really do care about you."

"I love you too, Han." You'd grin before kissing him softly on the cheek.

Junkrat:

Let's be honest with ourselves, Jamison would have blurted it out within the first few days of being with you.

He'd probably be so focused on building a new explosive contraption that he wouldn't have even noticed he said it.

"Oi, could you hand me the thing? It's in the toolbox over there!"

You'd walk over, grab the thing he needs and go to give it to him with a few pats to his shoulder.

"Thank youuu, I love ya!"

You'd chuckle quietly in response and give his head a smooch before walking off to do your own thing.

"I love you too, Fawkes!"

Lifeweaver:

Niran will tell you he loves you when he hides out at your place after a group of hunters sent by Vishkar find him and try to chase him down.

After a relentless pursuit, he manages to escape and find his way to your house, needing a place to recollect his thoughts.

When you respond to the banging on your door, you look out to see an exhausted Lifeweaver on your doorstep.

"Could I bother you for a place to stay for the night?"

"Always. The guest room is already ready for you."

With a relieved sigh, Niran would hug you before pulling you back into the house.

"Thank you, I love you so much, darling!"

Doomfist who just doesn’t care mind flaunting his money for you, in fact he insists that you take his card with you wherever you go. He’s absolutely loaded and you couldn’t even make a dent in his pocket no matter what you spend.

He’s quite happy to spend it for you, if you’re a little unsure about taking his money. Akande will take you for decadent dinner dates and line your wardrobe with expensive clothes and fine lingerie - only for his eyes, of course.

He’ll never ask for anything back, but he’ll take his prize in the form of tearing whatever lingerie you’ve bought off with his teeth.

First off, be prepared for his job to come first, he's quite busy as one of the few leaders of Talon.

You'd either have to wait for a time he's free OR (the fun part) really provoke him.

Just showing up to a meeting in a 'cute new outfit' is enough to get him going.

After basically teasing him the entire day, be prepared for a WHOLE lot of stress relief sex.

Of course, he's still respectful to make sure you're okay with everything he does. He wouldn't want to hurt you.

You both have a safe word in case things do go too far just to be careful and respect boundaries.

But, unless that word is used, he'll do literally anything to you that you ask of him or what he wishes to do to you.

He's definitely a top, but would let you ride him, but he still likes to stay in control of the situation.

He's into a lot of things and willing to try new things out or anything you bring to his attention.

Will not do anything unsanitary, but will be 100% into small, harmful things, such as choking, especially with his robot arm.

Won't do anything too intense that you'd end up really hurt, though. I don't see him being into anything like knife play. He'd hate to see you bleed or marks that look like you'd been beat up.

Besides spanking and hickies, those marks he doesn't mind, especially spanking, when he can he will.

He'd totally be into you trying to suck him off during a meeting, or even just teasing him through his pants, but again, he prepared for the aftermath cuz he ain't holding back.

His favorite positions would probably be cowgirl/reverse cowgirl or doggy style.

He'd also LOVE to see you in lingerie

He'd be obsessed with the pretty cloth decorating your soft skin, especially when it highlights your curves.

Speaking of that, he will praise your body and leave marks wherever you feel insecure. He's into both praise and degradation, depending on the mood you both are in.

He'd treat you like the princess you are and definitely make you feel that way.

Prepare for amazing after-care, he either already has it set up prior or gets everything after.

Need some water? he's got it. Need to be cleaned up? he's already on it. You ask, and he gives, mostly you don't have to even ask because he's already doing so.

He also makes sure to cuddle as well. Even if he's got business to do, he pushes his schedule back a bit just to be sure you're alright and feel loved.

He'd also definitely send an omnic to your room if he'd have to leave early. It'd be carrying a bunch of necessities just for you, from some snacks to self-care items.

Tracer

Lena doesn't like swearing, but damn when she hears Jimbo cussing out some poor recruit on base, she can't help but crack up

If it's at her she actually gets invested in an argument

way too invested to where she's saying bloody hell every 3 seconds into the argument

Seeing her genuinely get fired up at a puppet amuses you and so you keep doing it until she decides she's had enough and kisses you to shut up the puppet

Kiriko

Has a fox puppet and will play around with you

Though she usually has to prepare or look for her own she has no clue where you store your puppet to have it come to life out of no where

you two would run a puppet show on youtube with subtitles tbh, though it's mostly for the little girl and the grandpa (In the cinematic)

Kiriko makes sure Jimbo stays kid friendly for those, otherwise you're sleeping on the couch

Sombra

Like Kiriko has her own puppet

Though she can make them of any character, even Jimbo

Both of y'all make Jimbo 1 and 2 argue with each other

moira has walked in on this at some point and made a 180 out of the door not to be seen for a week

Widowmaker

There was a time you made the horrible decision to pull the puppet next to her while she was sniping

Nearly lost Jimbo and your hand

Amelie doesn't want to admit it, but it cracks her up. It's rare to see Moira and Reaper so unsettled by the puppet it warms her cold heart and she stifles her laughter

Though she gave up trying to figure out where you pull Jimbo from in the first place

Doomfist

He breaks every time you manage to pull jimbo out

It's his weakness, and seeing Jimbo cuss out other members of the teams and managing to sass them he can't help but bark out with laughter

He'll make a lot of talk to the fist jokes to Jimbo and Jimbo throws them right back

He's so tempted to make a puppet fist just to mess around with you and your puppet

I’m writing some of my Turning Blue au! Which is basically turning red but the shimada’s! Sojiro had a fight with his father after his wife died leaving him with his sons and left for america and established his own temple for the dragons that also takes in Omnics forgotten by society to repair them and care for them with the help of mondatta and zenyatta all the while he’s struggling to raise a teenager whose going through an early change of life and a 10yr old hellbent on causing trouble along with a horrible mean nasty sexy and rich omnic named max trying to force him into a relationship with the promise of taking care of the temples debt.

Well max can kick rocks because Sojiro actually has eyes for the sweet and lovely Mr Ogundimu who runs a flower shop across the road and who always has a new arrangement just for the temple free of charge. Hanzo and Genji love to play with his daughter Efi and her omnic orisa!

But Soji is too focused on trying to fix his life on his own and raising his kids to even think of burdening akande with a relationship with him, even though Akande himself would give the moon itself to make him happy and already gladly looks after his sons and frequently gives them pocket money for helping him at his store which Hanzo always puts into the temple wish box to help his father, meanwhile Genji is saving up for something special he’s convinced will help his family and sort out that nasty max for good 👀 ~Bambi

Talon x Reader

Cuddle/sleep headcanons

Doomfist

He doesn’t have time for it very often but when it gets down to it he melts into you in a gentle hold

He prefers a casual position where you head rests on his chest while he rubs circles in your back

He would never admit it to anybody but big spooning him puts him right to sleep

But if you’re a natural heater it doesn’t matter the position after a long day

He’s constantly preparing and orchestrating missions so he isn’t usually with you when you wake up but always kisses you on the temple while you sleep on his way out

Reaper

He isn’t entirely fond of it but does it anyways especially if it helps you sleep

Spooning is easier for him but he doesn’t mind you resting your head on his arm while facing him

He gets to have a good look at you as you usually wind up falling asleep first

His skin is pretty chilled so he counts on your body heat and a few extra blankets for warmth

He isn’t always in bed by the time you wake up but when he is he’s already caressing your cheek and dreading the headache his team will bring him

Moira

She’s almost always late to bed and occasionally isn’t there at all

You consider yourself lucky some nights when you can actually drag her to bed with you

She has terrible circulation and is pretty cold so after some complaining she makes sure the bed has extra blankets

However if you run hot at night then it’s a match made in heaven as she gets to watch you pass out while you practically drape yourself over her

She prefers you rest your head on her chest as it gives her a free hand to look at reports while the other hand runs itself through your hair

She always wakes up before you and like clockwork she returns to her experiments but not without a forehead kiss on her way out

Sombra

I imagine she’s terrible at getting to bed at a reasonable time but you’ve changed that when you start dating

Now it’s something she can look forward to as she even takes an occasional nap with you whenever her schedule can allow it

There are nights she doesn’t show up but when she does she loves to be big spoon since she runs a little hot in her sleep

She finds it so rewarding even on nights you both hardly get enough sleep from staying up talking and laughing over every little thing

It always surprises her to think about how much you’ve helped her relax as it manages to show in her work as well

She’s probably the only Talon member what wakes up in unison with you and shares your morning routine

Mauga

As a mercenary he only occasionally isn’t in bed whenever he has a mission run late

On nights that he’s home he makes sure to drag you to bed with him no matter what you’re doing

He’s earned his little snuggle session so “five more minutes” be damned

He enjoys any cuddling position but he loves to wrap himself around you and engulf you in his arms

He loves when you stay up late and talk with him as you trace whatever scars he’s collected from past missions

He does wake up before you but refuses to let you out of bed unless you promise him something like breakfast or helping him wash his hair

Widowmaker

She doesn’t seem to need much sleep these days and she isn’t quite fond of cuddling as much as she used to be but she is fond of you

As an assassin the only time she isn’t in bed with you is when a mission runs late

Whenever it’s up to her she prefers spooning regardless of her position as long as she feels the warmth of your skin

Compared to you her skin is ice cold and hardly makes for a good cuddle session unless you run hot at night

If you don’t she always sees to it that the bed has extra thick blankets and expensive furs prepared on your side of the bed

You’ll sometimes catch her watching over you if you happen to wake up in the middle of the night

In the morning she’s always up and offering you tea or coffee before some breakfast

Sigma

Like Moira his research never allows for him to have a normal sleep schedule

You usually have to coax him to bed with gentle hands and promises to let him continue his work early in the morning

It tends to work some of the time if he isn’t suddenly too cold and stonewalls you

Once he’s actually in bed it takes a little more effort to get him to ease his mind and get some sleep

A frequent tradition is to spend some time with his head on your lap while you message his forehead

You have your deepest conversations with him when he’s resting on you like this

When it’s time to sleep he envelops you in his arms and is finally soothed by the smell of your hair

He isn’t much colder than Moira but enjoys a few extra blankets on his side regardless of your heat

Mornings aren’t always the same but he does his best to share a routine with you

Talon & Secret Talents (Headcanons) Super indulgent, but these are what I think the members of Talon would have their secret talent as. My asks are open and requests are welcome, enjoy (they're under the cut c:)

Akande Ogundimu / Doomfist: I can honestly imagine Akande being incredibly good at Luthiery, which is crafting and repairing string instruments like guitars and violins. He taught himself years ago, and has continued honing his skills, modifying instruments and making them out of unconventional materials just to prove to himself he can do it. It's something Akande takes great pride in, serving as a way for him to relax with something mindless and meticulous.

Gabriel Reyes / Reaper: Gabriel has a secret talent for wine and beer making, often spending months at a time making some for his wife, or his colleagues for their birthday. He'll never tell them that he made it, just that it was the cheapest in the store to throw them off his track. Gabriel was taught by his dad how to, and has since loved making it out of ingredients that you wouldn't expect, like sugary sweets or caffeinated drinks. He enjoys the time spent carefully watching it brew, spending weeks to months focused on making sure it tastes divine.

Moira O'Deorian: Honestly I like to think that Moira's good at embroidery, especially cross stitching. She was taught how to do it by her mother, who was taught by their mother and so on. It's a family gift, and she values the time spent carefully making beautifully woven creations. She used to fabric dye too, taking her time with an airbrush to make the most beautiful Ada for people to buy from her. It's her secret hobby, and it helps her to unwind especially if she can't sleep that night.

Siebren de Kuiper / Sigma: Siebren's always enjoyed writing, finding it to be the best way to express his thoughts and feelings. Over time, his writing has become more erratic, scattered, and incoherent. It's something that weighs on his mind from time to time, but he enjoys reading back his older works, like diary entries or poetry he's written. It fills him with a hope of returning to that mental state, and writing in and of itself helps him to clear the echoing thoughts that linger each day. 

Amelie Lacroix / Widowmaker: Amelie has always loved dressmaking, and considers herself to be a talented seamstress. She's always enjoyed it, and it's something even Talon wouldn't be able to pry from her hands. Amelie made her wedding dress, cocktail dresses for parties, and likes to make new patterns for future designs as often as possible. It's something meticulous, and helps to focus her mind on something that won't impact her negatively. Often, Moira and Olivia will ask Amelie to make them designs that she thinks would compliment them, but wouldn't expect her to make the dress completely for them, often tailoring it to be absolutely perfect on them. It's not as much of a secret talent as she'd like it to be, with Moira and Olivia being the only people that know about it. However, she values their opinions on her work, and appreciates the way they express their gratitude over the dresses she makes for them. It makes her feel as though she has a purpose again; one that doesn't have a road of dead bodies following her.

Olivia Colomar / Sombra: Olivia's scarily gifted at photography and photo editing. She has a secret blog and secret twitter to share her creations, to conceal her identity and prevent anyone finding them. Her works are based on her traumas, and the things going on in Dorado that she can't prevent. They're often thought provoking, bringing light to the things that people often overlook. She likes to add an element of hope into the images, and likes to add a line that adds to the work to each post. They're not popular by any means, with rarely anyone interacting with them, but she doesn't care - as long as someone's documenting the way her home is being destroyed by the violence, she's content. It's something she intends to keep private, and she doesn't want to attach her face or name to the images she's creating.

Maugaloa Malosi: Maugaloa has a talent for memorising and recalling information - even when he was a child, he was applauded for his ability to recall exact details of the smallest things from months ago. It's something he prides himself on, but doesn't talk about often enough, wanting to utilise this skill when it'll suit him the most. He enjoys the ability to memorise things, often seeing it as a weapon ready to be used whenever he needs/wants.

Junkrat: I always need an excuse to test out me experimental explosives.

Juno: Why would anyone think of doing that? It's so cruel!

Kiriko: Sometimes, I feel like being descriminatory back, see how they like it.

Ramattra: Those pathetic humans will rule the day they dared open their mouth.

Reaper: ...This account would get banned if I said.

Reinhardt: I'd like to see them try!

Roadhog: Arson.

Sigma: Such a small little ant, it would be a shame if gravity were to crush you with its weight.

Sojourn: Y'know Murphy is technically a guard dog? You just need to let 'em loose.

Soldier 76: I've heard it all before, so I'd have a few words of my own.

Sombra: Someone like that always has some serious skeletons in their closet.

Symettra: It's not worth stooping to their level.

Torbjörn: I may be small, but I have a big mouth!

Tracer: I'd run back in time and stop them before they even have the chance.

Widowmaker: A shot to the head solves all of my problems.

Winston: ...They wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Wrecking Ball: The hampster says words too vulgar to repeat.

Zarya: I'm a proffessional weightlifter, I love showing off what my muscles can do!

Zenyatta: We are all one within the Iris, so they are foolish for othering who are ultimately our siblings.

Venture: You guys! These are the nicest things I've ever heard in my life!

Talon finding out that their kid has been letting moira experiment on them to "Become cool and strong, just like you!"

Aww, maybe a little angst in there, too👀 (These are just gonna the Talon members that were specifically experimented on, so no Doomfist or Sigma)

Talon finding out their kid wanted to 'be like them'

Reaper

He immediately shut down the whole experiment and demanded to know what you were doing

When you told him you just wanted to be cool like him, his heart broke

As he steered you out of Moira's lab he was glaring daggers at her until you and Reaper were in a private place

There, Reaper explains how he ended up like this and how he doesn't want you to have to go through the same pain he did.

Don't break your poor dad's heart you're all he has left

Widowmaker

She's also appalled when she figures out you let Moira experiment on you

For once she actually sheds a tear when she was asking what you were doing

When you tell her you just wanted to be cool and strong like her, she falls silent

It took Widowmaker forever and a day to be able to feel things again, and she can't imagine losing you now

You're her child and the only person she feels love for, and she is not going to lose your love because of an experiment

Sombra

She's very confused when she walks in and sees a bunch of high tech stuff and you, sitting on one of Moira's gurneys

When she asks what you're doing and you say you're gonna become like her, she honestly starts grinning

Sombra's experimentation was her choice so she walks you through everything that's gonna happen and promises she'll help you figure out how to work it when the surgery is over

She's so freaking proud of you and is delighted to have her kid as her partner in crime

God devout protector Miguel after the you two incident would be AMAZINGLY AWFUL. Man will full on strap your ass to him in like a baby carrier kind of fashion, you wouldn’t leave his sight, let alone his reach.

And the other spiders would be crossed between being mad jealous but also relived because if anyone can keep you on lock, it would be Miguel.

If you did try and leave again tho I FIRMLY believe man would go full feral, foaming and running on all fours, just to get you again.

But also? He’s totally crying the first time he gets to fuck the real you. Man will swear there’s a diff between you and your dopple.

Bruh I keep thinking of tons of ways to torture Miguel/the Reader, why do I have a fetish for writing fucking drama like this is some lifetime movie real housewives levels of drama, and I was thinking of a really specific scene sort of idea. So imagine a big reason YouTwo starts trying to steal your identity, really THE reason, is because YOU didn't realize "the severity of your surroundings" in the sense that you don't realize your spidey sense is going off half the time because a big portion of this community is stalking you, but YouTwo DOES. Like lmao, it's not even, totally out of spite against you that they steal your life either, YouTwo may just also share some of your massive insecurity issues and they see how so much of the Spider Society outright adores you and wants that for themselves, they want to feel important and loved, shit maybe YouTwo is even an anomaly who was never supposed to be a Spider but you were and that furthers their own mental health issues

I really like the idea of like, Reader and Miguel having kind of a slow burn undefined relationship which actually plays a role in exposing YouTwo or. Something lol. Idk I kind of struggle sometimes, tone wise, with writing yandere who are just like outright delusional and not at least partially lucid and, I typically don't go for those "I was drooling at the mouth the second i saw you" characterizations myself (not because I don't like them but, I'm apparently obsessed with "having emotional tension build up")

So, imagine if one point in the past Reader had gotten drunk and Miguel was taking them home because a super drunk and clumsy Spider who can crawl up any surface with super strength could be a potential disaster (did yall know Miguel can lift TEN TONS, that's 20,000 pounds, uh, uh, uh, sir thats actually terrifying i think you could deadass One Punch Man, fucking, Doomfist punch an entire fucking skyscraper) and at some point you just kind of. It's a little earlier on in how you know him and imagine you just kind of very extremely sloppily come onto him, just kind of a "fuck it he's handsome and I'm drunk why not just go for it" moment

you kiss him on the lips, and he just totally freezes and, you know, despite him actually having some developing feelings for you, unhealthy obsessive feelings gradually increasing over time, he's not exactly at the Having Sex With You stage yet, or, perhaps he already is but, you're too drunk for him to be comfortable sleeping with you because He's A Good Catholic Boy And Your First Time Together Must Be Special or, he has to be more drunk too so it feels a little less uhhhhh dubcon-y (I also keep thinking about, as a separate concept separate from YouTwo stuff, what if you both got drunk to the point both of you kind of forget who you slept with last night until Miguel remembers but you don't and he's like "oh shit did I actually remember to use protection or was i too drunk and excited in the heat of the moment" and, oh hey wouldn't you know it, Reader just missed their period, when applicable obviously)

But anyways Miguel just gently rejects your advances and, actually is, emotionally vulnerable for a while, like he respects you enough to explain his reasoning and then some, telling you, hey, it's been kind of a long time since he's, you know, been with someone In That Way, he DID used to have a fiance who had been pregnant when she died, and after losing them both as a canon event, and then losing "them" a second time, his heart is just. Still healing after all this time. And I imagine Reader is embarrassed as fuck but also you're crying but it's actually a good crying because you're like "dude i think its so beautiful that you love them that much that they're still kept close to your heart after all this time" and it actually makes you love and respect him MORE, his strength, his devotion, and the two of you just sit there and talk until you eventually pass out and THIS is a huge moment that furthers his obsession with you because he gently set a boundary where he's technically rejecting you, denying you something you want, and you're basically like "dude that's so fucking badass of you, you're like the strongest man I know, sir its an honor working with a man like you"

For one, imagine the fucking pain if after that experience with you, he winds up eventually having his "first time" with YouTwo and you walk in on it and that like, completely breaks your heart because it's like. Wow fuck we've been coworkers and, weirdly defined not-dating-but-everyone-jokes-we're-married status for like maybe a year and a half even, and he just suddenly, in your perception, replaces you with some... cheap copy? What was wrong with you? What did they have that you don't? Why weren't you good enough 🥺 like I imagine at this plot point Reader is already SEVERELY depressed and you just find a man you, you like genuinely LOVE seemingly replacing you with someone who looks and sounds just like you but somehow YOU aren't good enough. Like. Bro it hurts you so fucking bad, part of me thinks you just go to your apartment and don't come out for like a straight week and that makes you feel even worse because YT is still running around fooling people and not everyone notices your absence so one comes to check on you and it furthers your mental illness that "no one cares about me" when that couldn't be farther from the truth

Absolutely torturing this man with the concept of, you guys never sleep together (yet) but YouTwo just kind of automatically assumes from The Vibes they get from the pair of you that SOMETHING must be going on and, during what I'll call the big confrontation, where YouTwo is cornering you with other Spiders who accuse you of being the fake and they're kicking you out, you weaponize that you know things THEY don't. You're standing there desperately trying to think of how to prove your innocence and you take one look at Miguel and the way he's absolutely glaring you down, almost looking at him in a sort of "wait, I want you to see this" kind of way before you look at YouTwo and fall into a character of your own "so how long have you been sleeping with my man? What, i warm him up for you and you steal my boyfriend?" Or something to that effect, and YouTwo is just kind of like, "oh PUH LEASE, Miguel and I have a much deeper relationship than just the physical, you have no right to talk like you know him" and they sidle up to him rather intimately and meanwhile Miguel's expression just DROPS. He looks to you while you stand there glitching out without your wristwatch and you're looking at him with the biggest saddest fucking boo boo eyes and you just kind of like, solemnly bow your head, "it was an honor working with you, sir" and he's just like OH F U C K, man is RUSHING, he scrambles to try and put his own watch on you but it's too late, there's not enough time, he reaches out to save you and your form disappears from this reality just as he's about to snap the cuff on your wrist

Like deadass it isn't your fault, but, you RE-TRAUMATIZE this man. His wife and unborn child, the replacement family, now YOU, and YOU were totally innocent and this was even more his fault than the first two things, like, he is one more major incident away from becoming an addict or a barely functioning alcoholic by the time you stumble back into his dimension by accident

I imagine he and the other betrayed Spiders deadass put scars on YouTwo's face and body so there can never be any mistaking who they are ever again and they're exiled back to their home dimension (and I mean if they kill themselves Miguel just kind of shrugs like "that was their choice" and also I wonder if that would break canon for that universe and kill everything in it or deadass there would just be another replacement Spider and suddenly everyone is like oh wow YouTwo was a fake anomaly all along)

But gooooodddddd, thinking of both Reader and Miguel after the return. Both of y'all are traumatized and you're basically scared of him now, it's hard for you to trust him or anyone else at all, meanwhile Miguel is DESPERATE to try and make things up to you while you're flinching when he reaches for you. I imagine the man starts being more openly affectionate with you. More hands on your shoulder, a pat on the head, he asks Lyla to watch you while he goes to refill his coffee and gives you a kiss on the temple on his way out, meanwhile Reader is just, you know, probably desperately needing therapy at this point, thinking "do I or don't I trust him", but also still having all of those happy memories with him and everyone else and you're just, even if you wanted to you're too physically weak from being lost in the multiverse for several months to really escape if you wanted to

Deadass think at this point the man would microchip you like a cat. Oh, so Miguel has to worry about fakes of his loved ones showing up now, as if he isnt dealing with 2099 other things right now? He'll show them! He'll microchip your ass so he can track you and confirm your identity at all times! Maybe he'll just microchip everyone! Or he'll put some sort of system feature in all the bracelets where they all have ID numbers and such so no one can pretend they aren't who they say they are! He's not mentally ill, he's just well intentioned, promise :)

While you're recovering from bouncing around all the different universes, healing any fractures or broken bones, overcoming any fevers or infections, he is INVOLVED in your care. He's constantly asking any doctors and medics for updates, and really, he's like a genius geneticist, would he actually be directly involved in administering any of your care? He doesn't like seeing other people give you shots or draw any blood because it hurts you so he insists on doing it. He creates a little nook in his office and on his brooding platform (almost typo'd that as breeding platform, but, I mean, it COULD be) so that he can keep his eyes on you once you've recovered enough to be let out of bed. Miguel just, finally getting an actual chair or bench and he's sitting watching all his monitors in the dark while you're in his lap and he's occasionally gently petting your hair. If he sees anything upsetting he just settles himself closer to your body and it brings him peace like no other and suddenly, yeah he just straight up is toxic codependent on you. He wants to protect and fawn and obsess over you and you're scared and vulnerable and start depending on him for protection again, like imagine if you're actually too scared to try running away because you just spent several months being catapulted between universes and you just need to rest, there's so much danger out there you didn't even comprehend before and, at least here with Miguel, it's safe for you, so, you accidentally kind of feed into all his problems

Could you even FUCKING IMAGINE if a THIRD YOU shows up and they might actually have distinguishing features from you that make it like impossible for you to be mixed up BUT STILL the second you see them you literally begin bawling your eyes out IMMEDIATELY and cling to Miguel, SHAKING, "please don't get rid of me please don't get rid of me please I don't have anywhere to go please please please" and like You3 could be the nicest person ever and not want to fuck up anything in any way and the whole ass Spider Society is just still like "nah fam you gotta go home, there's only room for one of you here" which is ironic coming from a a society where 70% of them are like the exact same person, like gee let me go fetch a coffee with Peter Parker and Peter B Parker and Peni Parker and Peter Porker and Peter Parkedcar like. You see what I mean?

Miguel and Reader sharing living quarters after your return and like, do you think he has a decent living space or do you think like nah he's living in a bachelor pad. He's actually the CEO of Alchemax in his universe so I assume he'd be like absolutely loaded, and he's in a futuristic cyberpunk dystopia so like, presumably he'd have a fully kitted-out penthouse apartment, and yeah while there IS room for you to have your own space and own bedroom, for sleeping, you're REQUIRED to be in the same room or bed as him. The entire place is bugged and wired and he has things meticulously organized so even if there were cameras he would know when you touch things or potentially snoop around. Oh, those papers on his desk were a few centimeters to the left before he went to the bathroom kinda attention to detail

And of course he eventually wants to take your relationship even further and finally be with and hold you, the real you, join his bodies with YOU and not some fake this time, and if it's not outright noncon, maybe you're so traumatized at this point you just decide "at least he thinks I'm me, at least someone still loves me enough like this, at least he's devoted to me even though he's totally crazy" and, you know, participating. He's murmuring all these praises and endearments and you're just so anxious and shy while his hands roam your body and he just totally worships you with lots of kisses and nuzzles and teasing little bites and you're holding onto him and are affectionate with him back, basically cuddling the entire time during sex, like man could have you folded into a mating press and you just, reach and intertwine your fingers and look up at him like 🥺 so insecure and scared because is he going to stop and leave if you mess up? What are you supposed to do? And he can sense your anxiety and gives you plenty of compliments and praise and encouragement while showering you with little smooches

You're lying there post-coitus and he's got his huge muscular arms caged around you as he tucks you into his chest, rubbing his hands over your back, telling you how amazing it was, how you did such a good job, and he basically fucks you the entire night until you can't take it anymore and are passing out in his bed while he's holding you, practically purring until both of you fall asleep as he idly wonders what your ring size is.

Especially since he's so uncontrolled.

Normally, Reinhardt is a knight of honor and glory.

He's a man you can trust with your life, one who would protect you with all he has.

This Rein has no honor or glory.

He's been made a hunting dog to do Talon's bidding.

He's so used to the name Fallen Knight that hearing Reinhardt makes him pause.

Perhaps in this universe he had a version of you who died, which might have drove him to be manipulated by Talon?

Your voice and appearance look similar... For some reason he feels frustrated to see Overwatch evacuate you from the area he's attacking.

Amari tries to keep him under control, but Reinhardt keeps trying to follow you.

It appears you two have been brought together once again...

But not in the way you wanted.

This new Reinhardt is possessive and violent.

Like a wild animal, he'll stop at nothing to have what he wants.

Sure, Amari can tranquilize him or keep him back somehow...

Yet he'll have you eventually.

Getting kidnapped by Reinhardt in this universe is terrifying.

You spend most of your time at Overwatch's HQ after trying to describe your scenario to them.

After that, they vow to keep you under their protection until they can send you home.

Only for a Talon raid to strike Overwatch HQ.

Many Talon agents pour into the building, wreaking havoc.

You focus on escaping, only to hear a growl.

The sound of rocket boosters occur before you're pinned against one of the metal walls.

You scream in pain, looking up to see a face you once found comforting.

It looks like him... But the scar is on the opposite eye and he wears a respirator...

Or is that a muzzle?

He glares down at you with predatory intent, breathing heavily as he keeps you pinned.

The tension is thick in the air...

Right up until he picks you up effortlessly, slinging you over his shoulder easily.

Amari may let Reinhardt keep you.

Her dog deserves a treat for doing such a good job.

You get to be kept in his kennel for him to play with (his room, but Amari loves to dehumanize him).

Reinhardt doesn't let anyone else touch you once he has you.

You feel so familiar... a distant memory he can barely recall now...

But now you're all his.

Rein loves the size difference between him and his obsession.

At night he pulls you close once out of his armor, spooning you closely as he nuzzles into your hair.

He always keeps that strange headgear on, yet you don't dare take it off.

He probably bites... (He does).

In fact, if that gear ever came off, he may immediately start marking you like an animal.

Rein isolates you like you're his favorite toy.

He has bark and he has bite.

He'd threaten you to never leave his room, telling you he'll know and the rest of Talon will keep you here.

No one likes him when he's angry.

Reinhardt is a killing machine, you're not used to seeing blood on him or his armor.

He doesn't hesitate to hurt those who try to take you away from him.

Including Overwatch agents.

One wham of his hammer, and they're red paste.

Hopefully you're not around to see it... but it's not like he cares.

Reinhardt likes to intimidate you, to drag out obedience.

You should be scared of him.

He plays rough with you.

He'll pin you, carry you, rough you up...

Yet sometimes... You think you see him care for you.

Sometimes you think you see your Rein in there when he cuddles you close.

However... He'll never be your Rein.

How well does moira get along with the rest of talon?

Her relationships within Talon are pretty dubious.

To start, she does not get along with Doomfist. I don't think he really cares much for her, and deems her a replaceable asset. He just uses her to have more power over Oasis, and realistically he could have just about anybody in a minister position and he'd be happy. He doesn't care for her work, and actively gives her tasks that pushes her away from doing her own work, like forcing her to work on Widowmaker, Sigma, ect. She knows how little she means to his overall operation and holds a lot of animosity towards him. However, without Talon, she has nothing. Talon is basically her last shot of leaving a mark on the world and she can't throw that away, so she pretends to play nice.

Reaper is an interesting story because they have so much history together. He got her a job at Overwatch, Blackwatch, and Talon, but they were definitely closest in Blackwatch. I kind of imagine during that time Gabe saw her as an annoying older sister, who acted like she knew more than him and bickered with him on everything, but was still his older sister, yknow? He loved her, she loved him. He's one of the only people who saw her walls come down, saw the real Moira. Lots of nights spent at her lab, drinking and talking about nothing and everything. They've grown apart of lot since then. Not because of anything Moira did to him, but more so just because Gabe has changed a lot. He's too angry, in too much pain. Moira has changed too. I think she was actually kinda happy in Blackwatch, even if she didn't outwardly show it, or even knew it herself, but know she's just sad? Accepted her fate as one of talons pawns. Neither of them can go back to drinking in her lab. They have moments together, little blips of what it used to be, but they both know it'll never be the same, that it can't be.

Sombra kinda forces herself into Moira's business. I like their chemistry a lot. Sombra has dirt on Moira but Moira has lost all sense of shame, lost to her own arrogance of self image, so Sombra holds no power over her. They have an inkling of what Gabe used to have with Moira, a funny little friendship. Moira never tells Sombra anything personal, she doesn't let her walls come down anymore, but she'll genuinely smile and crack jokes and laugh with her, because she's practically the only beacon of positively within Talon. Also, Moira's high and mighty persona doesn't work on Sombra, and Moira likes women who challenge her like that. They have a kind of will they wont they energy to them. I think Moira is sexually interested in Sombra for sure, and I think that feeling is palpable, and I think Sombra likes to play with that feeling quite a bit.

Honestly? I don't think she has much of a relationship with Sigma at all. Probably hardly sees him as a person, more so a nuisance she has to baby sit. Which is sad, because I think Sigma likes her company a lot. She is stern with him but she doesn't ever yell at him or anything, and he can't really tell that she is mad at him, so he thinks him and Moira are friends, someone of similar intellect to him that he can have scientific conversations with, and is also someone who helps him manage his hallucinations and memory loss.

I've spoken about her relationship with Widow before so I won't get into it again.

For fairness I'll add Ramattra too, but I'm only doing it because I think they could potentially have a funny relationship because I genuinely think they would be so fucking awkward. They are both intellectuals with a strong sense of their morals and they could have some great conversations but they just have no idea how to talk to each other. They do small talk and then it withers away into nothing. It would mostly be Ramattra wishing to speak with Moira but he has no idea how to engage in a conversation with her, and because of it they never form a relationship.

And then for my final act. Maximillian has a crush on her but is also horrified of her. He has no idea how to talk to her and she does this funny thing that she does to omnics where she just kind of stares at them (not in any sort of hateful way, mind you) and it freaks him out but also kind of turns him on. He resorts to very awkward stilted talks with her, which he hopes to end within a sentence or two so he can promptly walk away from the situation.

I can't get over the fact that part of the reason why Cassidy was so concerned about Reyes kill Antonio is because he's pretty much the only person in that group that knows how power vacuums work. Yes, Reyes has been at this for a long time but we see with Hanamura and, well, Retribution, he doesn't fully think of the fallout, Genji wasn't really involved with the crime side of the Shimada family, and Moira canonically prefers to stay off the field and focus on research. Not only that but Cassidy has been a part of a power vacuum before with Deadlock.

I can only imagine Genji getting missions with the Overwatch Strike team, specifically the Doomfist one and realizing this is why Cassidy was concerned. Honestly I could probably make a whole post about the aftermath of Doomfists arrest, cause there is so much to unpack.
