Playing Billy Hatcher again after many years, and it’s only now i realise the Circus Hat you get from hatching a patchy purple egg is based on NiGHTS own jester hat which i think is adorable! (NiGHTS has a little fan <3)

It’s chilly out, and the wind whips violently against the window.  The sound of it lashes into the living room, but it doesn’t matter too much.  Taako is wrapped up in Kravitz’s embrace and a good number of blankets.  He’s come up to a hospitable temperature and warming still, with his boyfriend and personal space heater tangled up in his limbs.  Taako shifts against him, tugging him closer.  Kravitz of course obliges, ducking his nose against his neck, so he can easily place kisses on his collarbone.  When he places languid kisses along his neck, Taako practically purrs in quiet delight.  Fantasy Chopped plays on the TV in front of them, but they’re both drifting in and out of wakefulness.  It’s kind of a crapshoot, whether these kisses will rile Taako up or calm him down.  In this instance, he stays right where he is, a thought moving from the back of his mind to the tip of his tongue.  

“Hey, babe?” He asks.

“Yes, Taako?”

“I’ve been thinking...”  Taako takes in a deep breath that turns into a long yawn.  Kravitz’s fingers rub up and down his belly, only encouraging his sleepy leanings.  

“You’ve been thinking?” Kravitz supplies. 

“Yeah, I do that sometimes.”  He says, kind of mean-playful.  “Do you ever go home anymore?”  Kravitz pauses.  He doesn’t want to think too far ahead in this conversation.  But it’s hard not to. 

“I mean, I still have some of my things there and I do some work there, of course.  So.”

“You work here too sometimes.”  Kravitz hums in agreement and listens to Taako’s nervous heartbeat in his ear, filling his head.  “I was just thinking.   You’re over here all the time.”  Kravitz hums again, to show he’s listening.  And he’s really trying to just listen.  Taako drops a kiss on the top of Kravitz’s hair, and it calms him.  “Do you wanna just move in?”

“Move in?”  Kravitz asks, just because he kind of can’t believe this is happening.  But, after six months of dating Taako, he should know better than to think that anything simply believable is ever going to happen again.  

“Yeah, like.  Live here.  Well not live, but, uh, like you can just chill here.  I’m not giving you a drawer, I don’t have any fucking leeway in my closet space, but I’ll just have Maggie build you a new bureau.”  And Kravitz is quiet, but he’s nodding.  “I mean, uhm, if you, if ya’ want to.  Move in.”  

“Move in?”

“Yeah, like, with me.”

“I’d, uh,” Kravitz starts, and feels Taako’s warm grip start to loosen around him.  Which is totally the opposite of what he wants when he says, “Taako, I’d love to move in.” 

“Cool, sounds good.”  Taako’s holds him a little bit closer, and Kravitz leans into the embrace.  “Do you uh, want a key?  You can tear your reaper-rift in whenever, but, in case you loose your scythe or something.  I’ll get you a key.”

“I’d love that Taako, thank you.”  

“I mean, it’s not a big deal, it’s a real easy spell ta’ just replicate it.” 

“I mean, that you’d ask me to move in with you.” 

“Oh,”  Kravitz can hear the blush, and the realization in this voice, that this is suddenly an emotional conversation.  Good emotions but still.  Taako is trying.  He’s trying for Kravitz. “Well, yeah.  I love you, and all.  ‘S seems stupid, with how much you’re over and all.  Might as well.”  

“Might as well.” Kravitz agrees, kissing up Taako’s neck, eliciting little giggles out of him.  Taako meets him with a smile, with a warm kiss, with silly, loving words, and gentle, teasing touches for his hot new roommate.

These are the most recent pieces I did! First one is called, "Laying on a Wall in a Haunted Starry Field", second and third are doodlets being of Tulip Dragon Judgment Day head design notes (I accidentally got Rhea's complexion off in the doodlet, my bad..😅😅😅), and the last one is "Under the Mushroomed Oak".. It's a lot of work, but that's total dedication within my own hands.
