#not art (yet)#once in a while I look at my prelim sketch and wonder if literally anyone else can read them other than me lmao #Ive returned to sketching in black recently tho... for a Long time I sketched in red. but before that I was doing it in blue #I think doing it this way kinda reminds me of drawing on loose pieces of a4 paper with mechanical pencils #will be nice to have this to chip away at for the foreseeable future. while I do other things also. a not obligation thing #I dont really have the diner experience but I feel like this is. kind of me in last year of high school on yearbook duty #(I was art committee. used it mostly as excuse to skip class with the other art committee kids lmao)(we were all friends)#this would be like. a cafe or a boba place. mostly bc those would have booths or tables tall enough for us to actually draw on #wonder if itd be fun to do a like. art challenge or something like that with this format... like DTIYS but its finishing the same sketch #tbh I only think it's viable bc my sketches are an enigma even to me lmao. esp. prelim/first sketch #would u like that. idk would that be fun for folks #drawing is fun! sometimes. we work towards making it fun more times. So I'm trying to make a timeline for the pjo universe, and I just realized that Rick skipped a whole year. Like, in universe, he skipped a whole year. Percy went from being old for his grade to being young (he should have turned 18 before his senior year, but now he's turning 18 right before his freshman year of college). So Percy and Annabeth essentially skipped a year of school, because he turned 15 in the battle of the labyrinth and was going into his freshman year of high school by the end of the book, and then a year and a half later, during Trials of Apollo, he's all of a sudden in his senior year. Botl was right before his freshman year, tlo was right before his sophomore year, then he got taken by Hera a few months later, then hoo (minus the lost hero) was the next summer (which would be right after his sophomore year), but then about five months later, January of the next year (when toa starts), he's a senior in high school instead of a junior. Someone please get Rick Riordan a calendar...

Some communities are funnier when theyre insanely toxic because of how inconsequential they are. Like r/neverbrokeabone they turn on ex members so quickly and shun them viciously and its always funny

i havent gotten sick one bit ever since i got (a very light case of) covid early last year (and hadnt been sick before that since the mask stuff started) and now. The Cold (tm) has finally caught up to me once more. thankfully its very light, i feel like my immune system has started wearing armour lately.

i was warned that wed get sick a lot when i started my new job. i thought i could power through it. however after a month of being touched and shoved and sneezed on by 5th graders, my time has come. i pray that it's better on monday because i really do not want to skip work for even a day ;v;

terrified of the concept of going to a highschool reuning in like 15 years purely because i remember i think my graduating class was maybe like 175 kids? and i swear to god my placement must have been like 174 out of 175 and ill show up there a lesbian with bipolar no kids unable to drive because im pretty sure the DVLA wont let me because im bipolar and ill just show up and go ''i dont give a shit about anybody here actually'' and then leave. because everyone i hung out with in highschool wasnt in my class LOL

#im only positive i wasnt the dead last kid because my friend who was a super senior was there graduating with me too LOL #i remember at least for my class i was 20 out of 23 so i was like floating above rock bottom #but THAT was only because the like last 3 kids are those kids that were capable of skipping school entirely. i wasnt #if i was able to skip school i think i wouldve been rock bottom 23rd no competition #sadly i wouldnt be a dropout because i was part of special education so theyd do everything in their power to hold on #like junior year when they only passed me cause my sped teacher told my teachers to pass me or id kill myself #anyway. realizing highschoolers probably follow me. hi. dont feel the need to be good in school if you cant theres really #not much wrong with just doing the bare minimum to nothing. i promise you if you wanna die every day being there #you dont have to put on a brave face and suck it up. just let the homework go
