This post is a public service announcement, and we do not normally do posts like this, but a really beneficial fundraiser was brought to our attention recently. It's called Warm Feet For Warriors sponsored by Soldiers' Angels and we thought we'd shed some light on it because, at Krogh's, we have a fondness for our Service Members and Veterans, and we know many of our followers feel the same. 🧦 Warm Feet For Warriors provides comfort for brave soles! Believe it or not, one of the items that are most requested from Service Members and Veterans IS socks! Just think how nice a brand new pair of socks feel when you slip your feet in! 🧦 So what does it entail? Sending Soldiers’ Angels Warm Feet for Warriors new adult-sized socks in their original packaging. He is about 20 years old and from a colony on City Island. He is a feral guy that had a large wound on his neck - we have taken him in so he can heal, get clear of parasites, and spend his senior days warm and comfortable. We did this with his severely injured colony mate “Bruiser” about 3 or so years ago - Bruiser was much beloved and actually lived with one of our volunteers until two weeks ago to the ripe old age of 21 or 22!
