Copenhagen (2014) Grade: B-

Small gem of an indie film. Great dialogue and for a small budget it had incredible shots of the city. Simple plot but it never gets boring. Unique and daring take on a coming of an age plot.

Inspector Krogh in Son of Frankenstein (1939) is almost a precursor to Columbo in the way he plays along with Frankenstein’s bullshit and acts like the man’s friend until he’s got him pinned.

"See? Now that we have the same haircut, we look absolutely alike!" exclaimed Sandy proudly. She was the one who cut both of her hair, thanks to years of experience in cutting her own (after her dad had accidentally shaved half of her head once). "Well, almost. I don't have thos scars on my face" said Bernardette while poiting at her sister's chin and forehead. "Oh, yeah! I should probably tell you how I got them, and a couple of other things" Sandy pointed at her forehead: "This one I got by running against a glass door (I thought it was open)." then pointed at her chin "And this one is from a fall last year. I was climbing a tree, almost made it." "Got it. Anything else?" "Don't question dad too much" added Sandy "He doesn't like personal questions. Also, he kinda think you'll be good once he fed you and asked about school. Don't expect him to play with you." "Oh, okay." said Bernardette. "He really is very different from mom. About that, she'll be very nosy. She'll want to know what you are doing, who you are seeing and where you are going at all times..." "Sounds fun!" commented Sandy, and Bernardette couldn't tell if she was serious. "Well, see you tomorrow, we go back to our places at sunset!" said then Bernardette. The two sisters hugged, then Bernardette run happily to meet her father.
