Imagine Reader in the 141 who just wants to get food and sleep.
Masterlist
Next
Reader! only ended up in the military because the recruiters said that there would be free food and lodging. Her parents had decided to travel the world thanks to their early retirement. They initially wanted to keep the house for Reader! to live in but she decided instead to rent out the house. This way, she would get passive income AND didn't have to worry too much about the upkeep of the house! (Her neighbours would keep an eye on the tenants)
Reader! really just joined because she needed something to do instead of a regular 9-5 desk job. Little did she know, being in the military had a LOT more paperwork than her old job. (She sometimes bribes Soap to do it for her. Price also knows. They both have very different hand writing..)
Reader! has always been quite slippery, cunning even. (Somehow still clumsy though) Flying through her training and earning her call sign Camera Guy on her first mission, she was assigned to a special operations task force.
People who don't know the story think, 'Camera Guy' is some pervert dude or something. Reader hears a lot of people (unknowingly) chatting about her. They either think she has pictures of naked people or think she photographs models. Of course they have no idea it's a woman. (Assholes.)
Reader was sent in as a spy to scout out a target. She needed to confirm that said target was the new crime lord that was smuggling American artillery. To do this, she needed to capture some sort of illegal or suspicious activity.
Long story short, she got trapped between a gang fight between the target and the rival gang. Somehow stayed alive and, filming the whole thing behind the bar. She was the only one who came out unscathed within the bar. The rest of the task force rushed in during the confusion, giving the reader time to subdue the target and capture him. (Used an empty bottle to knock him unconscious)
Mission was such a success Laswell heard about it and had Reader transferred to the 141 because the rest of the task force keeps ‘accidently’ breaking their body cams.
141 not realising Reader is a woman until they see her.
‘Yer a lady?’ Soaps blue eyes are wide and confused.
‘Yep’ Reader shrugs, ready to be shown to her new room so she can take a damn nap.
‘But Camera Guy…..’ Gaz mumbled, blinking confusedly.
The silent muscle dude just gave a grunt, not particularly interested.
‘I never said it was a man.’ Price shrugged, ‘Welcome to the 141, you're bunking in the room next to Ghost.' Reader assumes it's the man with a ghost mask over his balaclava.
‘Yes Captain.’ Reader nods, rubbing their eyes. Not particularly intimated by the group of them. Reader stayed up late reading and needs sleep before she starts scowling at every noise made
Reader ends up snoring through the time she got to settle into her bunk. (Ghost heard her through the walls.) Thank goodness reader only snore when they're exhausted.

Someting someting
Alpha!simon x f!Omega!reader
Simon not knowing how to treat omegas, not in the traditinal way, he just take them when he need stress relief after a shitty mission.
So when he was told that they specified him a mate, he was confused. They weren't supposed to meet and sign documents in one go. The bound was often not done properly, and omegas were always harmed duo to the lack of attention from their alpha. Thats why they wanted to go back to the old ways. courting.
Courting process start with alpha presenting gifts to omega. and what can our boy buy for her? They were never met, nor given any idea of what she can possibly like.
So the only thing he could think of was one of his old hoodies. It wasn't tattered or torn, but it was clear he'd been wearing it for a long time. The black fabric had taken on the shape of his body, the slight stretch from his large bicep and massive chest, and most importantly, his scent all over it.
He didn't even think about how much it might scares her. Make her feel unsafe.
He always wore it when he was on leave. All of his thoughts, rage, worries, and negative feelings was remained on his hoodie through his scent.
And the size of it? a huge alpha with twisted mind.
The next phase of courting is basically dating. And after months, they start the third phase, chasing.
But since we dont have enough time, they are going to skip the second phase and go straight to chasing.
Usually, after sharing some time together, they become more familiar with each other's scents and can react better to them. But they haven't meet yet, so it's going to be more like a predator and prey then chase for bonding.
Clearing the base, they let the omega walk at the hallways and leave her scent every were, then release the beast. She must run and he must follow, but he freezes after smelling her sweet scent. dumb-struck, excited and aroused.
Like i said, simon don't know shit about tradition. imagine his sweet omega looking around, waiting, confused about what is going on, what should she be expecting but the alpha is nowhere to be found , she doesn't even smell anything to indicate that he is near.
Desperate, she decides to go back to her room and call Laswell. Explain what happened, maybe they can try again later. But the closer she gets to her room, the stronger the familiar -yet not-so-familiar- scent becomes. When she reaches her door, she realizes that Instead of following, catching and claiming her, her alpha has come towards her room, marked out a considerable radius with his own scent wall to prevent any alphas from getting close to her.
What a silly man he is...
-------‐----
Love alpha simon, fuck up man has to deal with his sweet omega that he craves but she doesn't want him :(
Pls conasider that im not a writter and english is not my first language! Tnx for reading till end♡.

Time Travel
trafalgar law x reader
what would happen if law finds himself back in the past where the person he secretly loved for years is still alive?
word count: 5.6k

masterlist // ko-fi
The battle had been hard fought, but victory was theirs. The crew of the Polar Tang had emerged victorious against a powerful enemy, though not without their wounds. Law stood at the bow of the ship, his eyes scanning the horizon, his mind too tangled with thoughts to focus on the quiet after the storm.
He wasn’t prepared for what happened next.
The sharp crackle of energy, a distortion in the very air around him. Before he could even react, the world around him swirled into a blur. His ship, his crew, the ocean—all of it seemed to twist and bend in on itself, until everything went silent.
Law staggered back, the strange sensation of time ripping apart around him leaving him disoriented. He couldn’t even register the shock of it before the world shifted again, and suddenly—
He was back.
But not back where he expected. Not where he was, not on the Polar Tang with his crew.
No.
He was on a ship—but not the one he’d been aboard moments ago. The crew around him was… different. Younger.
He looked around, taking in the familiar faces of his old crew. The same crew, but so much younger than he remembered. Shachi, Bepo, Penguin, and… his younger self.
He swallowed hard, his heart pounding. This wasn’t just an ordinary flashback. This was something else entirely. The situation was surreal...impossible, even. But there they were.
He was back in the past. The year when you were still alive.
The crew sense someone behind them and they all turn alarmed and see him, a familiar but different face. They gather on deck, buzzing with questions. Law stands with them, trying to appear composed despite his inner turmoil. His younger self stares at him with wide eyes, as confused as the rest.
“So… what exactly is going on here?” Younger Law demands, still clutching his sword, his eyes darting between the older version of himself and the others “You… You’re me, aren’t you?”
Law rubs his temples, trying to gather his thoughts. He can’t reveal too much, he doesn't know what happened and why he was there, but one thing he knows is that he can’t change anything that would affect the timeline.
“You could say that” he replies quietly “But I can’t tell you everything. It could alter the future in ways I can’t predict”
The crew watches, sit all around him, eager, full of questions. But Law can’t answer them. Not really.
"You don't look good Captain. It looks like something happened that changed you" Bepo says with a worried face "you look sad and dull"
"Yeah" Penguin nods looking between Law and his younger-form "did something bad happened? To us?"
"I can't say anything, I'm sorry" Law answers.
“Why are you here, then?” Shachi asks, his eyes suspicious but full of curiosity. “If you can’t tell us about the future, why show up? And you keep looking around like you're searching for something”
“I… I didn’t have a choice” Law’s voice is low, strained “I was brought here by someone or something. I can’t explain it. But I’m trying to make sure certain things… stay the same. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you"
Law clenches his fists at his side, wishing he could just tell them everything. But the risks were too high. There was no way to undo the damage if he did.
He shifts uncomfortably “Some things… are better left unknown. It's for your own good too”
Penguin watches him for a moment before lowering his head in understanding “I get it. It’s a lot.”
You, meanwhile, looked at the scene from afar. You were in the usual spot you used to hide in, watching quietly. You’re studying Law with an odd curiosity, but you’re noticing how different he looks from the man you knew.
Eventually, the questions begin to fade away, and the crew starts to break apart for the evening, everyone heading off in different directions.
Law feels a presence behind him and turns, seeing you walking toward him.
As you walk toward him, you see his face completely change expression, becoming one full of sadness and regrets.
He stands up abruptly.
“You’re not gonna run off, are you?” you ask, a small smile playing on your lips.
He blinks at you, surprised “I wasn’t planning to”
You tilt your head, studying him closely “It’s a little… overwhelming, isn’t it? All these questions, all these things you can’t talk about”
He stares at you, unsure how to answer. The weight of seeing you alive again is heavier than he could’ve imagined. Your smile is just as he remembers. Your eyes—the same ones he fell for so long ago—hold a curious warmth.
You break the silence again, your voice softer now “So… I promise I won't tell anyone. What happens to us in the future?”
It’s like a punch to the gut. Law wants to tell you. He wants to share everything with you... to make sure you know how much he loves you, how much he regrets never telling you before. But the words stick in his throat. He can’t risk changing anything. If he tells you too much, it could cause a ripple that would undo everything.
“You know I can’t say anything” Law says, his voice quiet, almost strained “I wish I could. But I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to change anything.”
You nod, almost as if you knew that would be his answer. You glance down at your hands, your expression thoughtful.
“Right… So I guess I won’t get any answers” You look up at him again, eyes searching his face for something “Well, there’s one thing I can ask that’s… probably safe.”
Law blinks, confused “What?”
You hesitate for a moment before asking softly, “Are we together? In the future, I mean. Are we… together?”
The question hits him like a bolt of lightning. His heart races, the truth weighing on him like a ton of bricks.
He realizes, suddenly, painfully, that he never really knew for sure if you felt the same. He never got the chance to know because he lost you before he could even confess his true feelings. And now, here you are, asking him, and he can’t give you the answer you deserve.
It was always a mutual love, but he never knew it. Not until now.
Law opens his mouth, but no words come out. He’s too caught up in the truth of it, in the painful realization that he should have said something sooner.
You smile, regret in your face for asking him that. You look down to avoid his eyes "I take it as a no..."
“I… I don’t know” he mutters finally, his voice barely above a whisper “I don’t know what happens.”
You smile faintly, as if you believe his lie “It’s okay. I guess… I guess I’ll just have to live to find out later on, right?”
He watches you for a moment longer, the pain of it all almost unbearable. You smile again, but it doesn’t reach your eyes.
Later that evening Law walks quietly through the ship, his mind racing. He stops at the railing and looks out at the ocean, his thoughts heavy.
He wishes that you could survive, that you don't have to die the way you did. But how can he change the past without destroying everything else? Is it selfish of him if he is actually thinking about destrying the whole future to let you live?
Then he sees it—his younger self, standing on the deck, staring at you from a distance. The longing in his eyes is so clear, so painfully obvious.
Young Law’s gaze lingers on you, a soft expression on his face. He’s too scared, too silent, too unsure to say anything.
Now that Law knows about your feelings he wants to push his young-self into doing what he's so scared to do. Even if he can't change the future he wants the two of you to talk your hearts out so that in the future you won't die with the regret, so that he himself don't have to live with the same regret. Maybe the time you two have together isn't a lot but it's enough for living your love just a bit.
Law approaches him quietly, careful not to interrupt his thoughts. “You need to tell her,” he says softly “Before it’s too late.”
The younger Law turns, surprised, but doesn’t ask for clarification. He just looks back at you, still holding back, unsure.
“I can’t make you do anything, but if you wait, you might lose your chance forever” Law continues, his voice low, filled with the pain of his own unspoken words.
The younger Law says nothing, his gaze still focused on you. But after a long pause, he nods, a soft resolve settling in his eyes.
The next few days pass in a haze for Law. He tries to focus on the mission at hand, hoe to go back to his timeline and on the reason he was sent back in time—something about the crew’s safety and preventing a dangerous chain of events. But all he can think about is you, and the heartbreaking truth that he can’t tell you.
The most painful part is knowing that he’s already seen your death. He’s already lived through the pain of losing you, but now, seeing you alive again—alive in this timeline—he feels a gnawing desperation. He doesn't want that future to happen.
Later, on deck Law finds himself standing near the railing, staring out at the vast ocean as the crew moves around the ship. His thoughts are dark, clouded with regret, and he can’t seem to shake the image of you from his mind.
That push on his younger self wan't enough, but he can't risk more. His younger self, as always, is keeping to himself, sitting off to the side, hands on his sword. He’s quieter than usual, his eyes often drifting toward you—toward the woman he loves but hasn’t yet realized if and how to confess.
Law can’t help the sigh that escapes his lips. It’s a sharp, frustrated exhale, the weight of all the things he wants to say but can’t. It’s a constant battle in his head, fighting against the rules of time and destiny.
“Everything okay, Captain?” Shachi’s voice breaks through his thoughts.
Law turns to him, forcing a tight smile “Yeah. Just thinking”
Shachi looks at him, clearly sensing the tension, but doesn’t press the issue. Instead, he glances toward where younger Law is sitting, looking at you from a distance.
“Hey, what’s up with the kid?” Shachi asks “He’s been acting kind of… strange, lately.”
Law looks over, his gaze following Shachi’s. His younger self is staring at you, his expression distant but soft. There’s something in the way he watches you, something that Law recognizes all too well—longing, fear, hesitation.
“He’s… figuring things out” Law mutters, his voice heavy. He’s been hoping that his younger self would listen to him—that he would understand, act before it’s too late. But part of him still feels a lingering doubt.
“You think he’s gonna do something about it?” Shachi continues, raising an eyebrow “It’s kind of obvious he, or you for what it can mean, is in love with her”
“I actually don't know but I hope so” Law says, more to himself than to anyone else “I hope so”
Shachi nods and is about to leave when Law stops him "Tell me... was I always so obvious?"
He looks shocked to hear is Captain asking this but compose himself into a soft smile "We all knew from the beginning that you love her, you started acting different as soon as she arrived here. On the other hand y/n is more difficult to read"
This makes Law lose himself in thoughts again. The whole crew knew, this means they have a lot of regrets as well for what happened to you, to the both of you.
Later that nigh, the crew sits around the table, sharing a quiet meal. You’re there, of course, laughing with the others, the familiar warmth of your presence filling the room. Law can’t help but glance at you from time to time. He’s only allowed to watch you from a distance now, but it’s a sharp, painful reminder of everything he never said.
He catches sight of his younger self, who’s watching you too. This time, however, there’s something different in his expression. His eyes aren’t just filled with longing, they’re filled with determination.
His younger self stands suddenly, pushing his chair back and leave the crew confused. For a moment, Law feels a surge of hope. His younger self is acting on it. He’s going to do something.
On deck, under the stars, Young Law walks toward you, the weight of what he’s about to do heavy on his shoulders. You’re sitting by the edge of the ship, looking out at the night sky, lost in thoughts. When you hear him approach, you turn, offering him a warm, friendly smile.
“You sure you should be out here alone?” he asks, his voice hesitant “It’s a bit… quiet.”
You tilt your head, a teasing glint in your eyes “Isn’t that the point of being alone? You should try it sometime.”
He pauses, taking in your words, your smile. His heart beats harder in his chest, unsure of how to proceed. He’s always been like this—silent, holding back, afraid to say the things he really feels.
But now, after hearing Law’s advice, he knows what he needs to do.
“I… I need to tell you something” he says, his voice quieter than usual.
You raise an eyebrow, your curiosity piqued “What’s that?”
He takes a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. He’s scared, but the truth has to come out “I… I like you. I like you more than just as a friend. I’ve always… I’ve always liked you.”
Your eyes widen in surprise, and for a moment, neither of you speaks. But then, you smile, and it’s so bright, so genuine, that his chest aches with relief.
“I’m glad you finally said something” you reply softly “I… I’ve always felt the same way.”
His heart stops. The words hit him like a wave crashing over him, drowning him in warmth and hope “Wait… you do?”
You laugh softly, your eyes glimmering in the moonlight “Of course. It was pretty obvious, don’t you think?”
Young Law smiles, a small but relieved smile. He’s never felt this light before, this certain. For the first time, he’s no longer holding back.
Present-Law watching the scene from afar with the crew. Tears in his eyes because now he knows you got the chance to love each other even if for a short time.
Suddenly there's a blinding light and a few moments later when Law opens his eyes again he finds himself laying in a bed in the nurse of the Polar Tang. His mind is spinning..
He returns to the Polar Tang, to his crew, to the present. Was is all a dream? What actually happened?
Bepo at his side, sleeping.
He gets up waking him up and confused, the first thing Law asks "Did I ever got the chance to confess my feelings to y/n?"
"Captain are you okay? Why suddenly ask that?" Bepo says panicking.
Law sigh and firmly add "Just answer".
He's scared, he's scared it was all just a dream. Scared you died without knowing about his feelings just has it actually happened. Scared that maybe you actually never reciprocated his feelings, his love.
"Of course you did"
Law's eyes widened, his heart beating fast as never before. It wasn't a dream. He was actually able to change that small but important part of the past. You died knowing about his love. He lost you but not without giving you his full love.
He gets up and steps onto the deck.
There you are. Standing right in front of him, alive, vibrant, and here.
He stops, unable to breathe for a moment. His mind races. This can’t be right. He’s seen you die. He’s seen your body fall—he’s seen everything. But now you’re here, smiling at him like nothing ever happened.
“y/n?” He barely manages to choke out your name, his voice filled with disbelief.
You smile at him, a familiar, gentle smile “You finally woke up. What’s wrong, Captain? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
Law’s world tilts on its axis. He can’t understand it. He doesn’t know how this is possible—how you’re alive in front of him now.
But there’s only one explanation: the confession. His younger self’s confession. Somehow, it saved you.
He watches you, stunned, his chest tightening as emotions flood him.
“I—I thought I… I thought you…” he stammers.
You tilt your head, noticing his confusion “What’s the matter?”
The weight of it all is too much for him. He can’t speak, can’t form the words. But deep inside, he knows this is it—the moment when everything changed. The future he thought was set in stone, the future that broke him, had shifted. And you… you were still alive.
He shakes his head, trying to collect himself. He knows he’s seeing you right in front of him, alive, as if the death he witnessed in the past never happened. He swallows, his throat tight, unable to find the words to express the overwhelming rush of emotions.
“You… You’re…” He struggles to speak, but the confusion weighs him down. It’s not just the shock of seeing you alive—it’s everything that led to this moment, everything that shouldn’t have happened.
You raise an eyebrow, stepping closer to him “What happened? Is something wrong?”
“No” Law says finally, his voice hoarse “No, nothing’s wrong. It’s just… I don’t understand.”
“Are you okay?” you ask, your voice soft with concern, breaking through the tangle of thoughts in his head.
Law doesn’t know how to respond. He doesn’t know what to say to you, not when everything feels like it’s slipping through his fingers. He’s terrified that this shift in fate—this small change—could lead to something even worse.
“I’m fine” he says, forcing a smile, though it doesn’t reach his eyes. His mind is still racing, trying to process what’s happened. He doesn’t know how this happened—how the timeline could have been altered so drastically—but he knows one thing for sure.
“You’re here” he repeats, as if the words will make sense of the situation “You’re alive.”
You blink, a little confused by his intensity “Well, of course I’m alive, Captain. Why wouldn’t I be?”
A sharp pain stabs at Law’s chest as he recalls the past—the version of the future where you were dead. It had been so final, so irreversible. The pain of losing you had been one of the deepest regrets of his life. But now? Now, there’s a chance, maybe a small one, but still a chance, that things could be different.
The realization crashes over him like a tidal wave.
He looks at you again, this time with a weight that wasn’t there before. You’re alive. You’re here. And he didn’t have to lose you, not like before. His younger self had given him a second chance, and now… he has to hold on to that. He has to protect it.
He runs to close the distance between you two and hugs you like he never has. You're too schocked to move at first but then you put your hands around him.
Later, in the crew’s quarters, Law lies awake in his hammock, his thoughts spinning out of control. How could things change so quickly, so drastically? He can’t understand it. He should have never interfered, never given that advice to his younger self. But then again, he couldn’t let you die "again" without knowing that you were loved.
A soft knock at the door pulls him from his thoughts. He doesn’t need to ask who it is.
“Come in” he says quietly.
The door creaks open, and there you are, standing in the doorway. You look at him with a slight frown, your arms crossed over your chest.
“You’re still awake” you say, your voice gentle “Everything okay? You’ve been acting… different.”
Law sits up slightly in his hammock, his heart racing again. He’s never been good at hiding his feelings, and right now, his emotions are a whirlwind. How could he explain to you what he’s feeling? How could he tell you what’s going on in his head when he barely understands it himself?
“I’m… fine” he says, though it feels like a lie. He’s anything but fine. “Just thinking.”
You step into the room, closing the door behind you, and sit down on the chair across from him. “About what?”
“About… everything” he mutters “About how things are different now.”
You look at him, studying him closely. You can tell something’s weighing on him “Different how?” you ask, your voice soft but insistent.
He looks at you, torn between the need to protect you and the crushing urge to be honest. But he’s afraid of what that honesty might cost him. He’s afraid that if he tells you too much, it will change everything again.
“You wouldn’t understand” he says, his voice low. He can’t bring himself to explain the truth, at least not now.
You fake to be offended with a funny expression, and he loves when you do that because it makes you even cuter. You study him for a moment, your expression unreadable. Then, as if deciding something, you stand and walk over to him. Without a word, you reach out and gently place your hand on his arm.
“I understand more than you think” you say quietly, your fingers warm against his skin “You don’t have to carry all this on your own. You don’t have to hide from me.”
The softness in your voice, the warmth of your touch, cracks something deep inside him. His chest tightens, his breath catching in his throat. How could he have been so blind to what was right in front of him all this time?
He looks at you, really looks at you for the first time since he arrived in this timeline, and suddenly, he sees it all... the way you care for him, the way you’ve always been there, despite the unspoken distance between you. He realizes that he never really understood the depth of your feelings until now, and maybe that’s what changed. Maybe that’s the gift he was given, a second chance to finally get it.
“You’re right" he whispers, his voice thick with emotion “I don’t want to hide anymore.”
You look at him in surprise, your eyes widening slightly “What do you mean?”
He swallows hard, gathering the courage to say the words that have been buried deep inside him for so long.
“I… I love you” he says quietly, but with absolute certainty. The words feel like a weight lifted off his shoulders, the truth finally out in the open.
You smile, a small but genuine smile, and take a step closer to him “I think I’ve known that for a while”
You both sit in silence for a moment, you studying him while he's still lost in his thoughts. The weight of the admission must hit you differently, given all the strange tension and confusion his behavior has caused since his return to the present. But then you speak, and your words pull him back from the edge of his spiraling thoughts.
“Well, if it’s any comfort, I love you too” you say, your tone light but sincere “I mean, you’re kind of an idiot sometimes, and you’ve got this whole ‘broody loner’ thing that’s exhausting to keep up with, but… yeah. I love you, idiot”
The way you say it, so unguarded, so natural, he didn't realise how much he needed to hear those words until now, even though they come from you here, in this altered present.
He exhales a shaky breath, running a hand through his hair “You really don’t make things easy, do you?”
You smirk, stepping closer to him, your arms crossing over your chest “That’s part of my charm”
Law shakes his head, the corners of his lips twitching upward despite the heaviness still clinging to him. For the first time since he returned to this timeline, he feels lighter—like the crushing weight of regret and grief that had followed him for years is finally lifting.
But there’s still a lingering doubt in his mind. Did he truly rewrite the future, or is this just a fleeting moment of borrowed time? And if things really have changed, how much has been altered?
You notice him deep in thought again, so you lean in and press a quick, gentle kiss to his cheek. The sudden gesture pulls him out of his thoughts, and he turns to look at you, his expression of surprise. You can’t help but laugh at his reaction.
“Captain, why the shocked face? We’ve done worse than this” you tease, offering him a playful wink as you start walking towards the door “Sleep well now.”
On the Polar Tang, it doesn’t take long for the crew to notice the shift between you and Law.
“Uh, are you two… okay?” Shachi asks, looking back and forth between the two of you as you stand side by side on the deck.
You raise an eyebrow “Why wouldn’t we be?”
“Dunno. Maybe because since the day he fainted, Captain here looks like he saw the ghost of his past mistakes?” Penguin says.
“Enough” Law snaps, his voice low but firm. He doesn’t need the crew making a spectacle of this, not when he’s still trying to make sense of everything himself.
You, on the other hand, seem entirely unfazed by their reactions. You smirk, leaning against the railing with an air of casual confidence. “What’s the matter, Captain? Wanna give them something to really talk about?”
Law groans, pinching the bridge of his nose. You’ve always had a way of getting under his skin, but somehow, it feels different now, lighter, even.
“Don’t you all have work to do?” he mutters, turning his back to them and stalking off toward the ship’s interior.
But as he walks away, he catches the faint sound of your laughter behind him, and for the first time in a long while, it doesn’t sting.
Later that evening, Law finds himself alone in his quarters, staring down at a stack of charts and papers he’s been meaning to sort through. But his mind isn’t on his work, it’s on you, on the way your presence has started to fill the cracks in his carefully constructed walls.
He still doesn’t know how this timeline shift works. Did his advice to his younger self truly rewrite everything? And if so, how much of the past is still the same? Did your future really change or is it just temporary?
His thoughts spiral as he recalls the moment his younger self finally confessed to you. It was a subtle nudge, a small push in the right direction, but it had changed everything. If his younger self hadn’t listened, if he hadn’t acted, would you still be gone? Would you have died with regrets, with unspoken feelings left between you?
A knock at the door pulls him from his thoughts, and he looks up to see you standing there, leaning casually against the frame.
“Captain” you say, your tone light but teasing “You’re brooding again.”
He sighs, gesturing for you to come in “What do you want?”
You step into the room, closing the door behind you “Just checking on you. You’ve been acting really weird lately”
Law leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest “I’m fine now”
“You always say that” you reply, walking over to stand in front of his desk “But we both know it’s not true. So what’s really going on?”
For a moment, he considers brushing you off, keeping the truth locked away like he always does. But then he looks at you, really looks at you, and he sees the concern in your eyes, the genuine care that you’ve always shown him, even when he didn’t deserve it.
And he realizes that maybe, just this once, he doesn’t have to carry the weight alone.
“I…” he hesitates, the words catching in his throat “I was afraid I’d lost you.”
Your eyes widen slightly at his admission, but you don’t interrupt, giving him the space to continue.
“There was a time when you weren’t here” he says quietly, his voice thick with emotion “And it was… unbearable. I didn’t know how to fix it, how to stop it. And now…” He looks down at his hands, his fingers curling into fists. “Now, you’re here, and I don’t know if it’s real or if it’s just another cruel trick.”
You take a step closer to him, reaching out to place a hand on his arm “I’m here, Law,” you say softly “I was always here with you and I'll always be. Whatever happened, whatever you went through… I’m here now. And I’m not going anywhere.”
He looks up at you, his eyes searching yours for any sign of doubt or hesitation. But all he sees is the same fierce determination that he’s always admired in you.
For the first time since his return to the present, he feels a flicker of hope, hope that maybe, just maybe, this new future is something he can hold on to.
Most of the crew is asleep, leaving Law in the solitude of his quarters. He stares out of the small circular window, his mind a battlefield of thoughts. He knows he should be relieved, grateful, that you’re alive, but a part of him can’t let go of the fear. The fear that this could all slip away in an instant.
The soft creak of the door pulls him from his thoughts. He doesn’t need to turn around to know it’s you.
“You’re still awake... again” you say, your voice quiet but firm.
He sighs, his back still to you “I could say the same to you.”
“Touché.” You step further into the room, and the door clicks softly shut behind you “You know, I’ve been thinking.”
“Dangerous” he mutters, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his lips despite himself.
You roll your eyes, though he can’t see it “Funny. But seriously, I’ve been thinking about… us.”
That makes him turn. His eyes meet yours, and for a moment, he feels his breath catch in his throat.
“What about us?” he asks, his voice low.
You take a deep breath, stepping closer to him “I’ve been thinking about what you said yesterday. About how you were afraid you’d lost me.”
His jaw tightens, and he looks away “I shouldn’t have said that. It was selfish.”
“No, it wasn’t” you say firmly, closing the distance between you “It was honest. And I don’t want you to think you have to keep all of that to yourself anymore.”
Law exhales, running a hand through his hair “You don’t understand,” he says, his voice barely above a whisper “I’ve seen what it’s like to lose you. I’ve lived with it. And I don’t know if I can do that again.”
Your heart aches at the raw vulnerability in his voice. Without thinking, you reach out and place a hand on his chest, right over his heart.
“You won’t lose me” you say softly “Not if I have anything to say about it.”
He looks down at you, his eyes searching yours. There’s so much he wants to say, so much he wants to explain, but the words catch in his throat. Instead, he reaches up, his hand covering yours where it rests against his chest.
The silence stretches between you, thick with unspoken emotions. And then, almost imperceptibly, he leans down, his forehead brushing against yours.
“y/n…” he murmurs, his voice trembling.
You close your eyes, leaning into him. “I’m here, Law. I’m right here. We chose a life that’s unpredictable as pirates. I know that. But that doesn’t mean we can’t allow ourselves to love. Do you think it would hurt less if we didn’t use the time we have together to love each other? Because I don’t think so. In fact, I think the opposite.”
Something inside him breaks at your words, the walls he’s so carefully constructed over the years crumbling in an instant. He tilts his head slightly, his lips brushing against yours in a tentative, almost hesitant kiss.
The contact sends a jolt through both of you, and for a moment, neither of you moves. But then you press closer, your hand sliding up to cup his face, deepening the kiss. It’s not hurried or frantic, it’s soft and deliberate, a silent promise that neither of you is willing to let go of this moment.
When you finally pull away, you’re both breathing heavily, your foreheads still pressed together.
“I’ve wanted to do that for a long time,” he admits, a small, nervous laugh escaping.
You chuckle softly as his thumb brushing against your cheek.
You smile, and for the first time in what feels like forever, he feels like the weight of the world isn’t resting on his shoulders.
“I mean it, Law” you say, your voice serious now. “Whatever happens, we’ll face it together. You don’t have to do this alone.”
He nods, pulling you into a tight embrace.
“Thank you” he murmurs against your hair.
For the first time in years, he allows himself to hope, for you, for him, for a future that no longer feels so uncertain.

hey!! i love your work and your headcannons about sevika. Can you do one where the reader puts makeup on sevika while she’s sleeping as a prank?
OKAY this is so cute hehehehe
men and minors dni
sevika wears a bit of makeup most days. kohl on her waterline that smudges over time and becomes smoky-- a habit she picked up from all the women in her family. that, and her signature coffee-brown lipstick that tastes like vanilla frosting.
some mornings, you manage to convince her to apply a layer of spf to her face. on date nights, she'll occasionally ask that you groom her brows for her, combing through them with a spoolie and applying a little brow gel, maybe trimming them a little if she needs. but beyond that, sevika's makeup is minimal and simple.
she sits and watches you do your own makeup when she's got the time. it's always fun; she's so encouraging and curious; showering you with compliments, oooh-ing and aaah-ing at all your glittery eyeshadows, handing you brushes and wetting your blending sponges for you.
you've asked her once before if she'd ever let you do her makeup. she had shrugged. "sure. not sure i'd wear it out, though. no offense-- i'm sure you'd make me gorgeous-- it's just..." she trailed off. you chuckled and kissed her cheek, and forgot about the conversation completely.
until now...
sevika fell asleep in bed while watching you play with your makeup. you have nowhere to be-- it's a rainy, cold night out-- you just wanted to be creative.
you sigh at yourself in the mirror as you pat on the finishing touches of your setting powder. you look amazing, obviously, but now you're all done and you're gonna get bored.
sevika snores behind you.
an evil idea starts to form in your head, and you giggle mischievously as you grab your brushes and pallets and tiptoe over to the bed.
sevika's a light sleeper. there are a few times as you do her face where you worry she'll suddenly wake up-- but each time she just grunts, shuffles a bit, and continues snoring.
you go all out. contour, highlighter, color corrector, big glittery purple eyes, giant fluttery lashes, and dark, ruby red lips. by the time you're done, sevika looks a little bit like jessica rabbit.
it's your giggles that end up waking her up.
she scrunches her face as she opens her eyes, then reaches up with a confused look, wondering why her eyelids are so heavy. "wha?" she asks, feeling her false lashes. you cackle.
"don't tug 'em sev, you'll ruin your makeup." you giggle.
sevika blinks up at you, still sleepy and confused. "y' look so pretty." she mumbles. you laugh.
"you like my look?" you ask. she nods, smiling up at you. "you should see yours." you say, gesturing to your little vanity.
sevika frowns and sits up, squinting at her reflection across the room.
then, sevika bursts into big, bright laughs. "oh fuck, look at me!" she cackles, launching out of bed to get closer to the mirror.
you watch in glee as she twists her head side to side, admiring all angles of your handiwork. "do you like it?"
"i look like a fuckin' princess or something!" she giggles. your heart melts at the sweet little poses she's hitting in the mirror as she checks herself out.
"you always look like a princess." you mumble. sevika grins and spins around to face you.
"but now i'm a princess with huge eyelashes." she says, fluttering her eyes at you.
you burst into laughter and pull sevika in for a kiss, not caring in the slightest that you smudge both of your lipsticks.

I've had unfortunate "luck" to interact with some of these people and to they do like trans men, they do not accept trans men, and in no way shape or form do they view them as men.
They quite literally view trans men as broken brainwashed girls who are confused and need to be fixed.
What they want to do to trans men is very scary.
For a lot of these types of people they believe that if these "girls" were to be with the right man, become pregnant, and have a family that would fix them.
They also do a lot of initializing and will use girls not women even as the misgender adult trans men.
And for all some of them may talk about accepting tomboys what the underlining viewpoint of the majority is this:
Trans men are not men they are girls who tomboys when children and their parents indulged them too much so they never grew out of the phase like all proper girls should and now they been taken advantage of and brainwashed into thinking their men. They just need to settle down and have children and then they will see the truth.
Does that sound like acceptance? Tolerance?
No. It is that same aspect of trying to control women and women's bodies because they views trans men as women despite trans men being men.
It is that idea of a woman's problem can be solved by marrying and having children because they do not view trans men as men, but again as confused girls.
So the transphobia of this type that attacks trans men is really insidious and scary because it is saying no you don't need to die (all though there are plenty who do say that because they think that being trans is socially contagious and that is why "girls become trans" i.e trans men exist) you just need to listen to us you silly child and use your womb like a good little girl.
It is a degradation, it is demeaning, it is stripping of one's dignity, and it is saying you do not know yourself nor do you know what is best for yourself.
They do not view trans men as men they view them as just another group of women failing doing womenhood right.
Of which the irony is of course trans men are going to fail at being the nebulous concept of womenhood they are not women.
But that is not how these folks see because again as keep having to say over and over they do not view trans men as men, but rather as women who not being the right kind of women and thus must be fixed.
Which should horrify you if you are not already horrified. I sincerely urge you if have not been listening to the concerns and worries of trans men and their community to please do so. To make sure that you are safe space for them and to find out ways that you can help.
We all need to help each other. We need to pull together and pull tight.
(Please forgive me if I was overstepping here since I'm not a trans man. Like I said I've unfortunately had to interact with some of these people and hear their rhetoric. So I felt it was imperative to make it as clear as possible what their views are because I'm so frustrated by how little people seem to be taking the very serious danger that trans men are in and how the concerns and worries of trans men are so often are brushed off. )
people genuinely behave like conservatives erupt into applause when a trans man comes out, as if they're cheering and going "YES! more men! FUCK women!"
they do not see us as men, y'all. WHAT reality is this attitude based in, because it's not this one.
conservatives do not see trans men as men. conservatives are not happy that there's one more man- they are pissed off because all they see is as "failed woman", "tainted woman", "woman in man's clothing" or "a woman pretending to be a man". they are mad because we aren't women anymore. they are actually pissed the fuck off that a 'woman' transitioned and is no longer a 'woman'. we're also viewed as "perverted queers trying to corrupt children," on the flip side of the coin but never men. stop acting like conservative men are frothing at the mouth excited to welcome trans men into the upper echelons of cisheteronormative patriarchy. they want us dead. snap out of it.

⋆.˚🦋༘⋆Pile 1: Queen of Swords, 3 of Cups and 2 of Swords.
This February, everything may feel a little… random. Like you can't see clearly what's happening or what's coming next. And while it can be frustrating not to have all the answers, the Moon encourages you not to force things. Sometimes not knowing what's going on is a sign that you need to take a step back and allow yourself to feel without trying to rationalize everything.
You may be faced with situations this month that you may have been avoiding. Questions may arise about your relationships, your job, or even your current identity. And even though you may not perceive it now, it's all part of a developmental process. The confusion you're experiencing isn't harmful; on the contrary, it's like a "reminder" from the cosmos that there are elements within you that need to be heard. There will be times when you feel like the pieces are starting to fall into place, but there will also be days when you feel completely disoriented. And that's okay. You don't need to have everything figured out right away. It's a month to meditate, not to rush into solutions.
My recommendation would be not to put too much pressure on yourself. If you find yourself in a situation where things aren't clear, you shouldn't force yourself to make sure everything has immediate meaning. Keep an eye on your feelings, pay attention to the smallest details, and most of all, be kind to yourself. Clarity will come when it's needed, you just have to trust the process and yourself.
🧁Song:
⋆.˚🦋༘⋆Pile 2: The Sun, 4 of Wands and Queen of Wands.
You might feel like the pieces are starting to fall into place again this February, and that will give you a sense of clarity that you haven't experienced in a long time. You might feel more stimulated, more optimistic, or simply intent on giving your best. If there was something that was overwhelming you or that had stopped you, this is the moment when things begin to take a positive turn.
This month, you will experience thefeeling that something inside you is "waking up" in a sense. Perhaps you were already carrying some uncertainties or fears, but now it will give you the strength to face them, i heard "I'm going to put all my effort" as i was channeling your message. It is a favorable month to start a new project, undertake those dreams that you had saved or take on some circumstance that was going around in your mind. You will notice that the energy will be in your benefit. It is as if everything begins to flow without so much effort, like when you discover the right route and everything seems to be in tune.
Even if something is not exactly what you anticipated, your optimistic attitude and your clarity will help you to continue moving forward with confidence. Enjoy everything that this month brings with it. Sometimes we concentrate so much on the objectives that we forget to enjoy the trip. Take advantage of the minimal things, those that give us happiness in the simple things.
🧁Song:
⋆.˚🦋༘⋆Pile 3: 8 of Wands, The Chariot and King of Cups.
This month feels really "fast" to put it in a way, I think it will pass really quickly for you. Surprises can be a bit disconcerting at first, but in reality, they are bringing great potential. Some circumstances could change in unexpected ways, but that is just one component of the process. Don't worry if you feel that things are not progressing as you anticipated. Sometimes, the most significant transformations appear when we least expect them, and the final outcome can be much more favorable than you imagine.
This month could be a bit of a roller coaster, in the broadest sense. Some situations will evolve quickly, and you may feel like you are on a boat, but don't worry. There will be moments of uncertainty, but if you continue to evolve with the transformations, opportunities will begin to arise out of nowhere. It could be a good time to take a little more risk, as everything seems to be going in your favor.
Don't try to control everything. Life has its own rhythm, and sometimes it's best to allow yourself to be guided by the course of things. The surprises that will come this month will take you to unexpected places, and even though you can't anticipate what will happen, trust that everything has a reason to be the way it is. Let go of what you can't handle and continue to progress with the assurance that better things are yet to come <3
🧁Song:

Taking it out on you.
warnings: dom! Emily, sub!fem!reader, gun play, degradation, praise, light mommy kink, lmk if i forgot something!
It wasn't uncommon for Emily to have a bad day—or even bad weeks—due to her profession. Being the Unit Chief of the BAU came with more cons than pros, if she had to be honest.
Emily didn't enjoy it, but she liked it. She liked serving and doing it for her people, her family. That didn't mean it kept the stress away. It simply meant Emily dealt with it trying to appear as composed as she possibly could, and she was good at it. Emily was good at faking being just fine not to worry others.
Nonetheless, you could tell.
Be it the way her steps echoed through the entire apartment, even scaring the poor cat Sergio away to some corner of the house; be it the frown your girlfriend was showing on her features.
You could tell it was a bad, bad case.
"Bad day?" So you asked, stopping your movements alongside the rhythm of some bad song at the radio.
"It was definitely a day," Emily responded with a large sigh, leaving her coat on the couch before stepping towards you, her hands immediately grabbing your waist tightly as Emily sank her face into the crook of your neck. "Thank God you're here." She spoke after taking in a deep breath of your essence.
"I'm always here—" But before you could finish your sentence, you felt a cold metal hugging your wrists together in a rapid movement. "What are you doing?" You questioned, not with fear but mere confusion at having your hands handcuffed so suddenly.
"You want to help me feel better, right?" At that, you did nothing but nod slightly, feeling a warmth spreading across your whole body due to the position you were in—Emily hugging you from behind, with you completely at her mercy.
"Then don't question me, understood?" Another nod, and in a second Emily had you whimpering lowly as her hands went to undo your shorts, pulling them down alongside your panties in a single second.
"I bet you're wet already, aren't you?" One of her hands went to your throat, applying enough pressure to cut off some of your air but not enough to hurt, while her other hand went straight away to cup your wetting pussy. "See, I was right after all." Emily spoke with a mocking scoff, her fingers circling your clit for a few moments, causing your breathing to become further ragged, before pulling away at once.
"Emily—" Her name left your mouth in a whiny tone, barely audible due to her left hand still restraining your air and pushing more pressure in your throat.
"I said, don't question me." Her voice came out firm, determined, and you didn't dare say anything else after that, instead yet another low moan left from you at that.
You heard some ruffling, and before you could even try to turn around and find what the sound was, Emily had took her gun out of her holster and was holding it close to your now drenched cunt.
A hint of fear appeared inside you, followed by a sensation of pure thrill and need. Unable to say anything, you opted to grind your hips a bit, desperate for Emily's touch.
"You want me that bad, hm?" Keeping the firm although mocking voice, Emily instantly pressed the tip of her gun against your drenched pussy, pushing inside you inch by inch at a torturously slow pace.
The sensation of the cold metal against your warm, slicky folds had your head falling back to rest on Emily's shoulder, your eyes almost rolling back in pleasure and the strange, terrifying and exciting tingle all at once.
"You definitely must be a different kind of slut to enjoy this." Emily said with a huffing laughter, her free hand leaving your throat and allowing you more oxygen, but it all went out when she slapped your sensitive clit while still pushing her gun into you mercilessly.
"You're going to cum on my gun, like a good dirty whore, aren't you?" Each and every word pronounced by Emily made its way directly towards your entire body, a shiver running down your spine as you felt that familiar coil settling in your lower stomach.
"Yes, fuck, Emily, please—" Another slap to your clit made you unable to finish your words once again, all the while more breathy moans escaped your lips. "Mommy, please!"
You rectified her name, knowing what Emily wanted from you at the moment, and what you needed to do to get the pleasure you so intently searched, your hips bucking against the gun now covered in your juices.
"I'll be good, mommy," You promised, and you right away felt the speed of Emily's gun pounding more fiercely into your clenching cunt. "Please."
"That's right, you're my good little slut," With that, her free hand pinched your puffy clit with enough force to tear a guttural moan from you, as you cummed in that moment thanks to Emily's skilled touch and gun-play.
As you came down slowly from your climax, your legs almost gave up and Emily had to hold you more tightly towards her, her arms wrapping around your waist after she pulled her gun back into her holster.
"You've been a good girl," Emily murmured against your ear, her breath hitting your skin and making you tremble further still. "You've been so good for me."
"I'm always here for you." You managed to reply in a breathless voice, finishing the sentence she didn't let you before.

A headcanon with them meeting their child from the future with hsr men
Character: phainon, mydei, anaxa, dan heng, jing yuan, blade, sunday and caelus
Fem reader
Something like the hsr men meet their kid from the future and the kid say that they're his kid from the future. At first the hsr man don't believe that, but then the kid show the family album photo that make the hsr man believe the kid. The male hsr can already know reader or haven't know reader yet. Maybe after that they meet reader and try to court her 👀
Hi, thank you for the request so much! It was really fun to write (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ
Just fluff, confused hsr men, time travel and kids that try to convince their dads that they really are their kids from the future!
Characters included: Phynon, Mydei, Anaxa, Dan Heng, Jing Yuan, Blade, Sunday and Caelus.
Anaxa may and probably will be ooc, since he's not even out yet and the content we currently have of him is mainly leaks. His part is also exceptionally short. Either way, I hope you guys like it!
Love always, Cupid♡
Phainon
He met your future child inside a prophecy, as weird as it sounds. Usually, it was just whispers of Titans, words of maidens, the prophecies rarely ever appeared in a form of hallucinations, but this one did.
He listened intently, trying to catch what the prophecy wanted him to know, but when he opened his eyes, there was no one around besides a small child tugging at his sleeve.
“Dad” he called him. Phainon was surprised, to say the least. From what he understood from the strange story he heard, he would later on get with you, and this little one was supposed to be his future kid.
“Is this even a prophecy, or am I just dreaming?” He asked himself. He would enjoy a future like that, a future with you, but you had already turned him down once. Was he just projecting his unfulfilled desires, had the said “prophecy” read his mind and just gave him the answer he most wanted to hear?
He didn't believe it, he wanted to, but he didn't. The child looked up at him, confused, and then gave him a photograph that looked just a tad bit too real. He jolted awake suddenly, thinking that it was just as he suspected, a dream. But when he looked at what he had in his hand, his whole perception of what just happened changed.
It was the same exact photo the little one gave him. There was no way it was a dream, then, for the things you see in dreams can't just materialize in the real world. He believed now.
It was probably naive to believe that ridiculous story, no one in their right mind would do so, but Phynon couldn't help himself. It felt real, and he hoped it was real.
Little did he know, you were trying to think of a way to apologize to him for turning him down before, because you did feel the same way he did. The time of his confession just happened to be unfortunate, which resulted in you loosing your cool and shutting him down immediately, which later on made you regret your choice of words.
Fate is such a curious thing, isn't it? when two people are destined to be together, they will. No matter what challenges they may face along the way. And so, the “prophecy” did end up being true.
Mydei
Mydei met your child from the future back when he was still a Crown Prince of Kastrum Kremnos. He was on his way to the training arena when he heard weird noises coming from the nearby corridor. There were a lot of stupid people trying to play smart thieves around here lately, so he went to check it out just in case.
To his surprise, the presumed “thief” turned out to be just a young boy, not above the age of 13. He was scavenging through a bunch of crap laying loosely on the floor, a worried look plastered on his face.
“What are you doing?” Mydei asked, still contemplating whether to help him or throw him out of the castle, for he was definitely not supposed to be there. Mydeis’ face when he heard the boy call him “dad” followed by an unbelievable story about time travel and his non-existing family was priceless. A mix of emotion washed over him, most of which were negative ones. Who in their right mind comes up with bullshit like that?
He ended up ordering the guards to escort the boy outside, he wouldn't be able to stand another word from him. Although the boy has been escorted already, a weird feeling that Mydei wasn't exactly able to explain lingered somewhere inside of him. He noticed an envelope on the floor right when he was about to head to the training ground and forget all about this insignificant event. This must've been what the boy was searching for. He picked it up and the first thing he noticed was that it was meant for him all along. Not thinking much, he opened it. Inside there was a photo that looked like it had been taken in Okhema, the Holy city.
What really threw him off was the fact that it was him in the frame together with two people whom he didn’t know. One, he recognised as the young boy that caused him unnecessary trouble earlier on, but the other one was a woman whom he had never met.
It's been years until he finally found you. What's ironic is that he wasn't even searching for you. When he saw the photo, he decided it'd be best to just throw it out, but in the end, he never did. He kept it close to him at all times. He wasn't sure why himself. As soon as he noticed you among the crowd, giving your supplies of medicine out to those who clearly needed it, it suddenly dawned on him.
You were the woman from the photograph. He stared, and stared, and kept staring, untill you finally noticed him. You smiled at him softly, the sun illuminating your hair in a way that made them seem to glow. A flower crown adorned your head, making you look akin to an angel. You walked over to him, waving your hand in a friendly manner. It never happened to him before. People in Okhema were hesitant to talk to him, they probably thought him scary. But not you. No, not you.
When you were in hand's reach away from him, you stopped. You picked a flower out of the many on your head and tangled it in his hair. It was a beautiful white camellia that matched him perfectly. “Thank you, hero.” You said, and then walked away. Later on, Mydei found himself seeking you out on various occasions, making up a multitude of excuses just to be able to spend time with you.
Anaxa
Well, what can I say? Anaxa is a certified non-beliver. If he defies even the gods, he has no problem telling a kid that his story is bullshit and that he probably should focus on helping his parents with whatever they do. No regards for the child's feelings.
He does so repeatedly, but the little boy doesn't seem to be giving up anytime soon. They both stand their ground, using solid arguments to try and convince the other one that they are right. Unsurprisingly, it leads to nowhere.
The kid decides to prove his point by sharing a family photo with Anaxa, who doesn't even want to look at it at first, but after some time he gets irritated by the child's persistence and says that he will take a look at it.
And so, he does. It feels weird, because after further examining the photo he came to the conclusion that it is, in fact, real. He won't ever admit it, but something inside him stirred, and he may have believed that absurd story presented to him. A little bit, at least.
You looked really happy on the photograph, and so did he. It would really be a pity if it all was just a lie, a joke made by a bored kid. Luckily, it wasn't.
Dan Heng
Dan Heng was never the one to believe in fairy tales. He based his opinion solely on facts, so when a random kid suddenly appeared in front of him, trying to convince him that she's his “future daughter”. He genuinely contemplated calling a psychiatrist for her. He'd even pay for the services if he had to. That being said, he doesn't know what compelled him to doing a throughout research on you.
You, who seemed eerily familiar when he saw you on a photograph he received from the child right before she ran off. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he was sure he had seen you somewhere before.
He fell into a spiral. He spent almost every minute he could searching for you. For signs of you, however small, whether it be in his memory or on the internet, but nothing ever came up.
He was loosing his mind every time he looked at that photo. It was a picture of you, him, and the strange kid that gave it to him. You were holding the camera, he was standing behind you on a beach, his back turned to you. The girl from before was holding tightly onto his sleeve. She seemed younger than when she suddenly appeared in front of him that unusual day.
Just when he was about to give up, when he almost convinced himself that it was all just an unfunny joke played on him by a bored-to-death kid, he saw you.
He saw you when he was buying some snacks with March 7th and the trailblazer in Aurum Alley. The place was very crowded that day, he left his companions and ran after you before he could loose sight of you in the mass of people.
He grabbed your shoulder, you turned around, your eyes met, and suddenly, something clicked. He remembers now, and judging by the look on your face, you do, too.
Memories of his past incarnation cloud his mind. “Those are not my memories” he reminds himself. He let's go of your shoulder, he wants to leave, but before he can do so, you pull him close into a tight hug. He was hesitant at first, but when you rested your head on his shoulder, he reciprocated the embrace.
You knew he wasn't the same person now, what you knew is that if he would give you a chance, you'd fall in love with him all over again. More even than with his past self, and he seemed to be aware of that, too.
Jing Yuan
He was as calm as ever, even though for the past couple of minutes he was listening to a kid around the age of 10 excitedly explaining to him how he’s his future son. Truthfully, he didn't believe a single word that kid said, yet he still decided to entertain him. He was paying attention to every word the child said, asking different questions and letting out dramatic gasps from time to time.
It was until the kid mentioned your name. How was it that he knew you? Why did he suddenly bring you up, of all people? Jing Yuan didn't spare a second to ask the question he had on mind. “How do you know her?” The kid stopped his storytelling and looked at him, bewildered. “huh? Didn't I just tell you? Are you even listening to me?”
Jing Yuan's voice was still his usual, sleepy one, but underneath it, there was a hint of curiosity. “Sure i am. I'm just wondering, what does she look like?” The previous moment of hesitation that could be seen on his face for just a brief moment was now gone completly. He decides to play it cool, as he always did.
“Stop playing dumb!” The child retorted, a bit irritated by now. He managed to come to the conclusion that Jong Yuan doesn't believe him at all, and he wasn't wrong. “You don't believe me, do you?” The kid tilted his head to the side, waiting for a response even tho he knew the answer already.
Jing Yuan sighed in defeat. He got caught red-handed and lost a battle against that youngster. “I suppose I don't. Not entirely.” A second later, he already had a whole photo album laying in front of him. He raised a brow at the boy next to him. “Just look through it. Maybe it'll convince you.”
And so, he did. Not only did he look through it, no. He deeply analyzed every single photo that the album contained. He spent hours that he should be spending on work looking at the pictures. He was lucky enough that he convinced the kid to let him keep the album. None of the shots seemed fake, and some of them even had a signature. Your signature. He would be able to recognize your hand writing anywhere.
Later that day, he visited the alchemy commission where you were supposed to be resting after receiving a fatal injury. He was embarrassed, because the whole time you've been recovering he had never visited you once. He never missed a chance to ask people from the commission about the state of your well being, bit that was it. He wasn't sure himself why didn't he visit you, not even once. Maybe it was because he was scared, because he knew that everything that happened to you was entirely his fault.
His previous confidence faltered, but he wasn't about to back out now. He entered the room where you slept and placed a single peony on a nightstand besides your bed. He didn't wake you up, you will know he was there once you do, and that's enough.
Blade
Him being a stellaron hunter usually means that he has no contact with kids whatsoever, so when a sassy teen pops up randomly right before his mission, he doesn't know what to do. He tried to ignore her, but she's too stubborn to back down. After some persuasion, he finally gives in. He doesn't even say anything to her, just listens to her peculiar story. Besides the fact that the whole situation is rather unusual, everything seems normal, she goes on to explain time travel to him, but when your name slips off her tongue right next to the word “mom” he stops in his tracks.
He wasn't even paying attention to her meaningless monologue, but that didn't fail to reach his ears. His expression turns from an unpleasant one to something borderline threatening.
When she calls him “dad” he freezes once again. For a moment, he thought that she was your long lost daughter or something like that, deliberately ignoring the rest of the unbelievable story she bragged about just moments ago. He clenched the handle of his sword, but she just looked at him mockingly.
“I can prove it. I have a photo.” She said. “A photo… why would that convince me? Get lost.” He answered, but she handed him the photo anyway. She must've come to the conclusion that this is all pointless, because soon enough she disappeared from his sight. He didn't even notice it. He was too focused on the picture. It was real, he could tell, and that was what threw him off the most.
He quickly crumpled it in his palm to hide it when he felt your hands on both his shoulders. You were always unnecessarily clingy, even more with him than with other stellaron hunters. He thought you peculiar, your reason for joining was even weirder than your personality, because you literally didn't have a reason, or just didn't want to reveal it. When someone asked you why did you join the stellaron hunters, your answer was always short. “Fun.” He suspected your reason was entirely different in reality.
He never pried about it, though. He pretended it didn't interest him at all, even though deep down he was intrigued by your person. Maybe he did believe that kid, even if he didn't want to admit it.
Sunday
A little while before the Charmony Festival announcement something strange happened to him. He met someone, a child, that claimed to be his future future kid.
It was rather a peculiar encounter. Let's be fair - he doesn't know how to talk to kids. He's way too formal at all times, so the communication between the two went miserably.
Either way, he agreed to entertain the kid and listen to his made up story, or what he thought was a made up story. It had no logic to it, just a wild imagination of a young person, so there was no reason for him to think about it more than necessary, yet he found himself intrigued by it somewhat.
The conversation was cut short when the child looked at a clock and decided that it's time to go already. Before running off, he gave Sunday a single photo.
A weird feeling rose up in his chest once he looked at what it was. It was him in the frame. Him and a few other people, whom he recognised as the famous crew of the astral express. There was also the kid from before standing between him and a woman who he claimed was his mother.
Sunday didn't want to believe it. Why would he, of all people, ever join the Astral Express? He was content where he was, here on Penacony. It seemed ridiculous at the time.
Everything changed after the Charmony festival, when he got detained by the IPC and later on managed to strike a deal with Jade. Ironic as it is, he found himself asking the astral express crew whether he could board the express with them, at least for a little while.
At first, of course, they were skeptical towards that idea. He couldn't blame them, really. The one who seemed to have the biggest issue with him was you. He must admit, you've made some good points during the debate, if not for Welt advocating for him, you'd probably just kick him out the moment he first stepped foot on the express.
The conversation went on for a long time, with Sunday just standing to the side, waiting for the decision to be made. In the end you agreed, just like the rest of the crew, but the looked you gave him right after it was announced revealed that you weren't exactly happy about it.
He remembered his bizarre meeting with the kid, and the photo that he got, and the fact that supposedly, you and him were the parents. He still didn't believe in all of that, mostly because of your attitude towards him. The worst part was that the way you acted was justified. You seemed to hate him with a burning passion. But nothing lasts forever, and that, too, changed over time.
You started being more open to conversations with Sunday, you let yourself forget about all the unpleasant situations he managed to put the crew into back on Penacony. After some time, you got used to his presence. He would even argue that you kinda liked him, even though you wouldn't admit it.
As time passed, it only made you two closer, and he realised that the kid might’ve been right all along.
Caelus
at first, when the kid came up to him, claiming to be his child from the future, he burst out laughing. Like, really loud and hard, to the point his eyes started watering. It took him good fifteen minutes to calm down. He thought it hilarious.
After he finally cooled off, and your child kept explaining about them, you, and the future, Caelus stopped them way before they could finish. “okay that's not funny. It was only funny the first time around. Stop it.” man was creeped out.
His second instinct was to threaten your child with his baseball bat, and so, he did. It didn't quite work out the way he wanted to, because the kid laughed him off and threw a heavy book right at him, which he, caught off guard, didn't manage to catch in time, resulting in it hitting him in the face. Ouch.
Either way, he picked it up, asking what it is. Only thing he got as an answer was a quick “just open it.” And so he did. He turned it to a random page, and the expression of pure shock on his face said it all.
He expected everything, but not what he saw. There was only one photo on the page he happened to open the album on. In the frame, the first thing he noticed was you. You were cradling a little kid in your arms, and he was standing slightly behind you, his hands rested gently on your waist.
He was still skeptical about the truth, but the photo did look real. And you… You looked ethereal, he thought. Your eyes reflecting your love for the two, your hair slightly longer than it was now, and your smile seemed so sincere. He suddenly felt his heart skip a beat.
You were a passenger on the astral express currently, not yet a member, but you did travel quite a few worlds with the crew already. Caelus never seemed to notice the way you looked at him, although he looked at you exactly the same.
In that moment, he started to believe in the story presented by the kid just a little bit more. He hoped it was true, at least, and if it wasn't, he would make sure it'd come true. That's when he finally got the courage to ask you out, although when you asked what made him do it, he was too embarrassed to actually admit anything, so he quickly changed the topic by making some weird remarks about the lack of trashcan on Xianzhou Luofu.

(I know that..I just don't want anything happening. I understand they are trying to help us which is good to know. I just wanna be sure it stays that way.)
Megumi sighed texting back but sees the others showing up.
"megumi, what is going on??" Nobara was there with Miko, Hana, and Yuria who was confused.
"WE got some guest coming. Some other students are coming to help us due to Taz and Yuji not being available right now." he said.
"O..Other students?" Miko asked with Dennis and Anaconda standing by her side.
"Yes. Though, I believe Kisho and Ichiji is going to great them soon." he said.
"Then their is nothing wrong right? I mean, Sukuna and Kinie are sleeping along with the little ones right now." Hana said.
"I know that but it's just to be sure....and you know what other curses might be if they find that out...." he grumbled.
"I think your over worrying again Megumi..but I'm sure things will be okay." Nobara said with Yuria agreeing.
(I don't know but lets just say we need to try not to have them trying to attack Sukuna or Kinie....knowing their more dangerous..we are trying to keep those two calm remember?)
Megumi text back seeing or waiting for everyone else to wake up for the time being. Though, the other teachers knew about it while some was curious. For now, their was a group coming this way but they were indeed on the way.

I love you all immensely. Take care. 💖
Andy brings you breakfast in bed. You can't help but feel the guilt rippling off him. All of this is penance on his part.
It's as close to vindication as you'll get. You're mother would never admit what she did, let alone apologise. That's when you see her again. You're not so sure you ever want to.
The world is distant. It doesn't feel quite real. It's like a dream. The edges aren't quite sharp enough and the colours are cloudy.
You look down at the plate and your stomach grumbles out of basic need. You don't have much appetite but your biology is at a constant battle with your mind. You shouldn't be able to breathe but you are, you should take your meds but you don't feel all that different.
A poached egg, whole wheat toast, turkey bacons, and thick greek yogurt with fruit. It's all very healthy but a bit more than you would eat, when you feel up to it. Your breakfasts are a hard-boiled egg or a small cup of hot oats and milk.
"I hope it's okay," he hovers at the foot of the bed. He's dressed already. You're less than put together. You're still groggy from a grief-laden sleep and the hangover of the bitter revelation. You wear his borrowed shirt and gym shorts, your messy hair untamed despite your efforts.
"I called in to the office. I don't think I could focus of I tried," he explains. "And there's too much to be done here."
"There is?" You nibble the toast.
You'd hoped for some time alone. Not to think, just to be. You're still lost in all of this. The anger, the hurt, the regret, the confusion, and shame...
"Sweetie, you don't have any clothes. I have a spare toothbrush for you but it's a travel one from a hotel. And you'll need everything else, right? Soaps and whatever."
"Oh, I... I don't... my mom has all my money..." you utter and deflate again. You put down the toast. Your stomach is roaring but you just want to puke again.
"I'll deal with that. Don't worry. She's not as clever as she thinks." He puts his hands on his hips. He does that when he's upset. He used to argue with your mom and stand like that. "Please, eat. Your clothes should be dry soon."
"My clothes?"
"I threw them in the wash for you--" his sentence is punctured by the doorbell. His jaw ticks. "I'll deal with that. Probably Mrs. Potter trying to give me more casserole."
He leaves and you put your focus on the plate. You shouldn't just eat because you're hungry, you should eat because he went to all this effort. You pick up a slice of toast and break through the soft yolk.
You eat deliberately. Chewing slowly, methodically. A shrill yowl tightens your throat around a swallow. You know that shriek.
You carefully slide the tray forward and balance it on the legs as you angle out from beneath. You go to the window and try to see past the eaves and awning. You can't. Only the police cruiser and a familiar car...
You listen. The noise wafts in from the bedroom door. You follow it and peer down at the front door. It's muffled but clearly coming from the porch.
You twist the handle nervously and open the door a crack. You can't see past Andy as he stands staunchly on the mat, arms crossed. You glance an officer's belt with the radio attached and your mother's snarl lashes you like a barb.
"He has my daughter. She's sick--"
"She's an adult," Andy insists. "I'm not holding her against her will."
"She can't-- I am her legal guardian. She can't be here on free will, genius."
"Ma'am," a stern female voice warns. "Sir, where is the daughter?"
"She's sleeping." He lies.
You let the door fall inward. You don't want to be in trouble. No one seems to notice. You stall and shiver on the threshold. It isn't cold, you're just scared.
You make yourself step out. There's not much room. As Andy stands like a wall. You peek around him.
"Hi," you murmur.
"My baby," your mother throws her hands up and comes forward. Andy moves to block her. "You can't keep me from my girl-- where is her oxygen? Officers, she needs air!"
“No, I don’t,” you say, quiet but firm.
Your mother flinches but doesn’t relent, “he’s manipulated her. I can call the doctor right now and you’ll see. She hasn’t been without her tank in years. She could die--”
“That’s not true,” you murmur.
“Ma’am,” the female officer warns. “Let her speak.”
You look around with wide eyes, taking in the full scene. Andy stands just behind you, you can hear him exhale. A male officer is on the other side of your mother. You open your mouth then shut it.
“Sweetie,” your mother reaches for you and you shy away.
“Alright, Jackson, you stay here, I’m going to talk to her. Alone,” the female officer says. She reaches out and waves you to her delicately. “You wanna come with me? We can talk. Just you and me.”
You gulp and look at Andy. His blue eyes blaze as he meets your gaze. He dips his chin slightly. You turn back and nod. As you cross the porch, your mother tries to latch onto you. The other officer, Jackson, pulls her back.
You sidle past her and follow the woman. She takes you to the curb. You look down at your bare feet then at her.
“I’m Officer Patel. What’s your name?” She asks.
You answer and she shifts so you can’t see the house. “Me and my partner came because we got a call about a possible abduction. We’re just here to hear the full story. What’s going on here?”
You rub your neck and fidget. You can’t tell her the truth. Not the full truth. You can’t tell her your mom lied to you. Not even that she hit you. You don’t want to go back to court. You don’t want to tell everyone how stupid and pathetic you are.
“I’m here.... because I want to be,” you shrug.
“Your mother says there was an argument.”
You chew your lip, “she couldn’t find her pills. She left. I don't know... I don’t know why she came back.” Your chin trembles and you clasp your hands on your shirt hem. You sway back and forth. “She doesn’t love me.”
You hang your head. That’s it. What you always knew deep down. What’s so clear now that she’s ground you into dust. You’re nothing to her so she made you into nothing at all.
“She’s your mom, I’m sure you two will work this out. Me and my partner are just making sure you’re safe. We were told that man is keeping you here without consent.”
You flinch and shake your head furiously. You wave your hands, “no, no. Andy... Andy helped me and... I shouldn’t be here because... because... because I’m a loser and.... my mom... my mom...” you stutter. “She doesn’t want me.”
“She says you’re sick? You need oxygen?” She prompts.
You twiddle your fingers. “No, not really. Not... all the time. I can breathe, see?”
She watches you, “right. How old are you, miss?”
“Twenty-four.”
She nods. “You’re not a minor?”
“No,” you blurt out. Many assume as much, especially with you always hiding behind your mom. “No, I’m an... adult.”
“Do you want to press charges against anyone?”
“Charges? For what?” You wonder.
She sighs. “You’re free to go. You’re grown up and you can make your own choices without mom.” She tuts and turns to look across the lawn, “Jackson, come on.”
You peer over. Andy stands, arms crossed, staring at you. Your mother rears like a snake, muttering under her breath. You head back up the walk and Officer Patel speaks again.
“You have to leave, Ma’am.”
You stop and peek over your shoulder. Patel points to your mother, “we will escort you if need be.”
Jackson looks at her. She snarls and stomps her foot, “oh don’t you even think of touching me.” She huffs and storms past him. She comes down the steps and you think for an instant, she might push you. She stops beside you. “I took care of you, sweetie. Do you think he will for long? After he figures out what you are?”
She continues past you. You continue up the paved squares and past Officer Jackson as he follows. As you come up to the steps, you hear the engines turn over. You’re suddenly very tired.
“Andy,” you drag your feet over the mat. “I want to lay down.”
“Alright, honey. We’ll sort everything out later,” he turns and stretches his arm across the door frame as you enter.
He shuts the door as you stagger on, eyes hazy with tears. Your own mother despises you. She’s right about him too. He’ll hate you one day but you don’t know what to do to change any of this.
💙
Andy makes you finish breakfast before you lay down. He’s right. It’s good for you to eat and you haven’t been doing a lot of that.
You lay down for an hour before you sense him getting restless. You can hear him downstairs. You can’t be lazy. You don’t have any excuses anymore. You’re not sick, just weak.
You make yourself get up and venture downstairs. He’s in the kitchen, flicking through his phone as it rests on the counter. You clear your throat and wring your hands as you enter.
“I’m sorry. I was upset. It’s really stupid but sometimes I just... can’t do anything. Even if I try. I’m sorry, Andy. I’m... so sorry.”
He faces you and his face contorts in a spectrum of emotion, “oh, honey, you don’t need to be sorry. I put your clothes on the couch for you. Just waiting. Take your time.”
“Waiting for me,” you frown and look at the floor. “My mom lied. A lot. But I don’t think she was wrong about everything.”
“What do you mean?” He shifts closer.
You shrug, “me. I’m... I’m useless.”
“No,” his voice hardens. “No, take it back.”
“What?” You pout and bat your eyes as you peek up at him.
“You’re not going to talk about yourself like that. Not with me. So take it back.”
“Oh, I’m sorry--”
“Apologise to yourself,” he insists staunchly. “Honey, don’t let her control you. She’s gone.”
“But... but...”
“You’re adjusting. I understand that. I’m not expecting you to be okay right now. Be patient with yourself. Be patient with me. We’re both... figuring this out.”
You nod and your lips twitch. You could cry.
“Thanks, er, I’ll... change then. Um, Andy... are we going somewhere?”
“Sure, sweetheart. I mentioned earlier, didn’t I? About clothes? I tried to get the officers to agree to an escort to go to your mom’s but you saw her. She’s not in her right mind,” he explains.
“Yeah, that makes sense,” you flutter your fingers nervously and he looks down at them. You clasp them over your chest to make them stop. “I’ll hurry up then.”
You turn and scurry out. You go into the front room and grab the neatly folded clothes. He keeps everything so tidy and in its place. You go to the bathroom and set it on the counter.
As you take your panties from between the jeans and tee shirt, you hesitate. It’s a bit embarrassing to think of him washing your underwear. You could’ve done it if he showed you where the machines are.
You shrug it off. You’re just happy he helped. It’s a nice feeling when people do things for you.
You change and bring out the borrowed clothes. Andy is still in the kitchen. You stand in the doorway.
“Where do I put these?” You ask.
He pops his head up and tucks away his phone, “oh, I can take care of them.”
“Thanks, Andy, but uh, could I see? I’d like to know where everything is so I can help.”
“Help?” He approaches and takes the clothes, his hands brushing over yours. “With what?”
“I don’t know, everything?” You say. “You helped me so much and I want to do the same. I want to be useful. I want to be... better.”
The tension leaves his shoulder and he smiles. “Alright, sure, that’s nice of you.” He goes to step past you then stops. “Sweetheart, you know, your mom is wrong. About everything. You’re an amazing girl. Really, you’re wonderful. And today, I want you to try as much as you can to forget. I want you to feel good about you, because you should. Because you deserve it.”
You swallow and bounce nervously on your feet, “Andy, you’re so nice.”
“I’m just being honest. Should’ve tried that a lot sooner,” he says.

giggly sex; desk sex; oral (f receiving); MDNI 18+ w/ BEN FLORIAN (descendants)
"you know this isn't why i came to visit you, right?"
ben's hands rest on your hips, keeping you still on the top of his desk. he's technically the one caged in since his slender body is situated between your parted legs, but you feel like the one confined as you sit under his hungry gaze, neck craned up to look at him.
he dips his head, a smile pulled over his lips when he leans down to kiss you once before asking, "why are you here?"
you roll your eyes, jerking your hand to the forgotten picnic basket that sits in one of the arm chairs behind you.
"lunch, remember?"
ben pulls back enough for you to see the way his face scrunches into mock confusion. "not ringing a bell," he fakes, unable to hide the grin that takes over his face just a second later. he leans back in, knocking the tip of his nose against yours. "besides, i'm about to eat, aren't i?"
it's cheesy, but the way he says it, voice low and sultry in ways you're used to hearing late at night and not in the middle of the day in his office, almost makes you give in. with the little bit of strength remaining, you slap his shoulder, scoffing and pretending to be opposed to the idea.
if ben were to slip a hand between your thighs, he'd see just how you really felt about his proposal.
you let him kiss you, leaning up into his touch. his hands circle around to your back, pressing into the curve right above your ass before rounding back around to the front of your body and trailing down the tops of your thighs. when his fingers make their way towards your inner thigh and below the—admittedly high—hem of your skirt, you don't object. your legs even part a little bit more.
it's not until ben pulls away from your lips that you speak, left unoccupied and floundering to find something to do.

Based on the Cybertrobian diet post, cyvertronians can't taste? Like, they can't taste some substances or they can't just taste things at all? Not even energon?
The fact most cybertronians will only ever consume energon is one the main reasons they don't need taste. They have an extremely restrictive diet so taste isn't really a thing for them, most cybertronian on cybertron will have a pure diet of only liquid energon their entire life.
Cybertronians do have chemical reception in their proboscis and outer protometal, but it's not like "Oooo, this tastes salty" and more like "This compound contains 8% sodium interesting."
Cybertronians also do not have any sense of smell but are able to pick up on chemical signals in the air or by touching things with parts made of proto-metal. A cybertronian would be able to detect the level of sulfur in the air, while a human would be annoyed by the awful smell. also probably worry the cybertronian their with because the human seems extremely distressed by the sulfur, but data shows the sulfur levels in the air are at a non toxic levels for humans but this one is clearly distressed, even after being given this information.
When determining the quality of energon or other various fuel soures cybertronian judge it on its electrical signals and cemicals data instead of taste. The fact a human would prefer to consume a lower quality fuel source because it "tastes better" is a very confusing concept to them.
#i like making them vary alien and vary robot#the outer layer of cybertonain servos is made of protometal so they get chemical readings on everything they pick out or touch with them#cybertronains kinda got the butterfly feet thing going on but instead of taste its specific data on chemicals#transformers fan continuity#transformers synergize#transformers#tfs#ask answering#text post

god youre so right about the dream writing getting more "polished" im not sure if you talked about this yet but do you think Silver is in trouble with how much magic hes using + the number of people hes transporting dream to dream? like honestly Im worried for him
[You can read my thoughts on the book 7 chapter 12 part 2 update here!]
For real 😭 I mean, I still have several major problems with the dreams (like how the pacing is off, how the characters waste so much time standing around and talking about their personal lives when the world is in peril, how they have a very set pattern especially when it comes to the OB boys, and how the dream logic keeps overcomplicating or contradicting itself). However, the character writing has drastically improved for some Savanaclaw and Heartslabyul dreams. Leona, Jack, and Ace’s dreams were very meaningful. Ruggie, Cater, Trey, and Deuce’s dreams had their moments as well, even if they were sillier overall. I largely found the Octavinelle and Pomefiore dreams to be dull or time wasters, Ignihyde’s (Idia’s) and Scarabia serviceable, and Diasomnia’s (Sebek and Lilia’s) good but Lilia’s was too long and Sebek’s was too short.
I too was at first confused about how often and how easily Silver is able to dream hop (something I had expressed in this post), but I honestly don't think anything will come out of it, even if it's fun to theorize. Silver states in book 7 that his UM doesn't take much to use. On top of that, Mr. Shroud (or was it Mrs. Shroud, I forgot but one of them for sure) theorizes that the mages that are resting are recovering the magic they use in their dreams (since technically sleeping helps mages recover from blot accumulation). So I think it's supposed to be a combination of these factors (although fans have suggested other ideas too) that explain away why no one is worrying about Silver's wellbeing this late into the dream hopping. Again though, his UM is probably designed this way as a plot contrivance to justify how he's able to visit so many dreams. In the most recent JP main story update, Silver mentions the limit he can handle when using his UM is ~10 bodies. He has just reached that cap (himself, Sebek, Yuu, Grim, Ace, Deuce, Cater, Trey, Ortho Leona; Idia is also there, but he is present via his tablet while his actual body remains elsewhere so I'm not sure if he counts). At the end of Trey's dream, it seems that they're able to leap into Riddle's dream just fine so I don't think there's really an issue.

Wanna Know What Time It Is?
Content warning for hypnotic language and imagery! I mean it this time! Again!
Time is such a funny thing! Even without meaning to, it ebbs and flows in such a unique way through our day. The way time slows or fades in a blink is always interesting in hypnosis! Maybe that's why we have such a fascination with timekeeping devices!
Metronomes are pretty! They sound nice too, drowning out any thoughts with their own rhythm! But when I mention time and hypnosis together, we all know what the first thought to enter your mind is, don't we~?
The pretty shiny pocket watch has been a symbol of hypnosis for ages! If I asked you what time it is and dangled one right in front of your eyes, you'd probably already feel them go heavy and droopy. But I'm not going to swing it today! Nope! Don't get too distracted by the shiny lustre either! I know it's so so pretty, but I want you to focus on the way it keeps the time. The way the hand swirls around in such a pretty, predictable pattern~
I bet I could have you sleepy and mesmerised in just one minute! All you have to do is hear every tick with me.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Twelve!
Hmm~? Of course I'm staring at twelve! That's where the clock starts, silly~
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock
Eleven!
See? Doesn't it sound so nice? Isn't it so pretty?
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Ten!
Aww, does the traditional starting point prime you to slip~ away~?
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Nine!
That's it! It feels good to follow the numbers down, doesn't it?
Tick. Tick? Tock. Tick.
Eight!
It's getting harder to keep track, isn't it~? Your hazy gaze just lingers on the hand. Try not to let the gleam around the watch disorient you~
Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick.
Seven!
They're echoing in your brain, aren't they? That's ok. You just need to focus! Let your thoughts go, and follow!
Tick. Tock. Tock. Tick.
Six!
It's ok if you're all confused about the pattern. Just follow the hand and follow the numbers down, down, down!
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Five!
You're over halfway there now! So, so sleepy! It's ok if you have a hard time keeping your eyes open!
Tick. Tick. Tock. Tock.
Four!
Everything's a blur except the hand as it swirls around like a slow, gentle spiral. No wonder your world is spinning!
Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick.
Three!
Awww, your brain is so mushy, isn't it? Shh! Just listen. Just follow along for me~
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Two!
Just on the edge of dropping riiiight into helpless trance, that's right~ hey, you wanna know what time it is?
One.
It's sleepytime!
That's it! Just slip and slip into that deep, deep sleep you love so much! Aww, so cute. Even tracking the time makes you lose track of time, doesn't it? No wonder watches are so popular! Don't worry! Someday I'll dangle it right in front of your eyes, and maybe your brain will just start counting down all on its own~ and within a minute of staring you'll be helplessly~ hypnotised~
Just a thought! Hey, sleepyhead~ sleepytime's over! I've taken the pretty watch away! You can come back up now. Back and up to awareness for me!
Time's a fun thing, isn't it?

Mighty River, Release My Soul...
Your arms were as warm as they were on that winter day.
You scolded him back then too, though he reckoned it was far more vicious than your prattling now.
The way you looked at him, were so focused on tending him even if it was for a mere moment, was like breathing in fresh, icey cold air that he has been deprived from for weeks. It coursed through him and stung each limb. It only found an end after Pater cleared his throat.
Immediately you let go of Thorfinn, spinning to the man with a confused noise and a gasp. He smiled. "Thorfinn is fine now, you don't need to worry. These two boys just need to take the rest of the day off. Now that you are willing to talk...I believe we'd best have a conversation. Not with Master Ketil, do not worry."
Still, that flustered panic did not leave your face as you meekly nodded and followed him. Pater waved Thorfinn and Einar one last goodbye before motioning you to follow with an easy gait. You looked back to Thorfinn before tailing after Pater.
Einar let go of his baited breath. "How..strange. They...you really know them, don't-" The brunette chocked on his breath as Thorfinn was disappearing into the dense forest. Work had to be done, injured or not. Perplexed and with a huff of irritation, he ran after him.
First he doesn't know how to show gratitude and say 'thank you' and now he is shrugging off - someone who was scared to death for him!
What the hell is this guy's problem?!
The way to the forest was easier than the last few weeks. The both of them were able to cut down quite a lot of trees, clearing the path, but the stumps remained, leaving the woods like a rugged wasteland of dead trees.
Einar didn't even noticed his stomps and the way his bruisened feet dug into the soil. Narrowed blue eyes watched Thorfinn swing down the axe again, again, again. Cut, cut and cut.
His movements were fluid as he observed him, as he wasn't threatened this day at all. As if he wasn't a second from throwing his life away at all.
But he dodged. He sprung out of the way and didn't seem to be aware to have tried to kill Snake. He seemed so...light and out of it. Like a drunken bird.
"Hey, Thorfinn." The blonde barely showed any sign of listening to him, continuing to cut. "Have you ever been to war?"
Thorfinn chopped once, "I have."
Einar's gaze darkened. He answered him clearly and with focus.
"Have you ever killed people?"
Again, he cut. The tree fell down swiftly. "I have."
"How many? A few? Five, ten?"
"Why do you want to know? Don't you hate war?"
His blue eyes snapped up as the blonde halted. If he stalled or wanted to hear his answer, he didn't know. He just knew that each and every day of being with him confused him more, made a tiny flame in him flick, made the gall in his throat come up.
"I'm asking because...if you went to war and killed, then how-"
Einar took a deep breath and swallowed the gall that threatened to spit out, "-How can that person be worried about you? Why do they want you to live if you killed?"
The axe hovered above his head before he slowly lowered it down - and having it fall with a thud to the ground. His dull eyes oversaw the mess he left. "I don't know...", "Why not? They seem to know you. Are they like you?"
"No." Thorfinn quickly and sharply answered. Though his next words fell flat and soft again, "They aren't a dog like me."
Not when you looked at him like that. Not when you were so heavily relieved by seeing him breathing and battered, like his father was back then.
...I Need To See The World...
Waged war since he was a child.
Ever since he was a wee lad, he said, but he couldn't remember the exact age. He is only about eighteen, so how long ago was it that he can't even remember? Could he even recall it?
It sounded...ridicilous as Einar walked back to the little barn they called their home - or beds, he wasn't sure - back hunched and steps sulken, though his face was as dark as thunder.
He pillaged and killed and stole of people's hard work. Their land, wheat and loved ones. And he can't even remember who, when and why?
Let that fool cut away at the last standing trees as roughed up as he is. Einar is allowed to rest and he'd rather drown in his thoughts alone, bundled up in hay than look at Thorfinn for another minute.
Falling asleep alone feels somewhat sad...but at least he'd fall asleep without any screaming waking him into the early night.
It was the sound of spilled water that made him shoot up his gaze up at the person holding a bucket and rags with them. You shuffled awkwardly to the side, standing right in front of the barn.
Einar was quick to wipe the glare off his face. "Oh...good evening."
"...G-Good evening." You struggled to reply, he thought.
Einar couldn't help but make a long and wide face, pursing his lips as his blue eyes took in your uncertain form. You finally met his eyes with your own. "Are you waiting for Thorfinn?" Your brows rose as you nodded. He must've figured it out quick - or you are just that predictable.
"Pater allowed me to go see him quick. For his ear. Just to make sure the wound didn't fester through the day." "He's still back in the forest chopping. If you wait too long, you might get in trouble."
Shuffling a bit, you hesitated. "I'll wait a bit more. He's stubborn."
The brunette's shoulder sank. With a sigh, he swiftly sat down on the boulder next to the barn's entrance and crossed his arms. "I'll wait too, then."
He sat there on the right, while you stood on the left side. You stared at him briefly, confusion written on your face. The sky turned even darker, with the stars shining through their hiding spots. The moon was nowhere to be seen but the lights from the master's estate still offered some solace. It was illuminated enough for both people to see each other and perhaps recognize an possible incomer.
The silence did not feel heavy yet pressuring. As if any moment, something was waiting to happen.
You glanced at the man and took a deep breath. "...Are you hurt somewhere, too?"
"Uh, what?" Einar jumped and whipped his head to you. "You were there too, right? With the guests. They must've hurt you, too." "Oh! Well - I'm fine enough. Just a few bruises," He rolled his shoudler while chuckling dryly, "The real unlucky bastard is Thorfinn."
You hummed and rose the bucket in your hand. "Pater didn't give me any balms or medicines but the water should cool the bruises." "Ah, uh," Einar waved with his arms, laughing as he shook his head, "No, no, I'm okay. Honestly I...got really off scott-free. Really, the one who has it the worst is...Thorfinn."
You pulled a face - Einar could not decipher what it meant - and went back on being on the look out. "I'd figure. He likes getting in trouble."
The man glanced in your direction, taking in your unreadable, narrowed expression briefly, before staring back down the hill as well, though halfheartedly. "You know him?" He dared to glance to you again, "That he's like that?"
The grip on the bucket tightened and your eyes darted around the cool meadow below. For a moment, you shifted aimlessly but decided to give in. "Yes. He...is an old friend."
There was no need to pretend. To act coy and unknowing when you so foolishly started to speak and cradled him in your arms. Not when you were waiting here like an idiot for him to return and see him again just this once for tonight.
As if he was deserving of it. Thorfinn did not return when you ran after him, did not stay as you lead him to Leif's boat and now you are waiting for him again - and the only certainty you had was that he had the order to do so as a slave.
You yourself needed to oblige.
Lying here will bring you nothing but punishments and you had to be on your best behaviour, even if it meant not being with Thorfinn for however long you were allowed to. But for now, you could use Pater as an excuse and do all that you could - even if this whole place, Thorfinn himself and your own actions didn't make any sense to you.
You are a slave here now on this farm. Why should you even try?
Back with Askeladd you could fight back. But here, your hands are only untied by Ketil's orders.
"There he is." Einar lowly let out and made you snap your head up to see the short blonde march towards you with a hunched back and one arm holding the other bandaged one. His own lidded gaze was focused on the ground before they widened upon your sight.
"Your friend has been waiting." Einar got up with a start, his voice stern and certain, "I'll be just outside. Let's head to bed soon after." Thorfinn barely had the chance to utter a protest as the brunette simply turned around the corner of the barn, staying a few steps away from it. Though his eyes quickly went back to you, wide and unsure, before he walked into the barn and sat down on the hay. You kneeled down next to him, dunking the cloth into the water.
Wordlessly, you got up and went around to his side, pulling his greasy strands away to observe his ear. Thorfinn felt the gentle, almost ghostly tips of your fingers graze his shell as he unblinkingly hung his head, sitting cross-legged. His hands were clutched and the fingers would tense around one another, slightly, as if shivering from the cold.
There was nothing to see. No festering, no tissue. A clean cut that won't affect his hearing at all. You knew, but wanted to see him anyway. Perhaps it was the paranoia, perhaps you didn't trust Pater's word, felt like you couldn't, or you truly just wanted to see him again. This ghost of a man from the past.
You didn't know. But you knew you were a fool for feeling drawn to him after all this time, for wanting to see if he is really alright.
Gaze remained on the wound for a while before you let his hair slip off your hold and kneeled down next to him again. Watching him, Thorfinn didn't meet your eyes, not even when you brought the wet, cold cloth up to pat his face.
His jawline felt thinner. The short stubbles tickled your skin and bent back against the cloth. You couldn't remember him with any stubbles, let alone a sliver of what seems to be a beard ever appear on his grimsome mug. Blonde hair heavy and stringy tickling his shoulders - he used to hate having long hair. It bothered him so that he'd cut it whenever it got too long for his tastes, leaving him with this disheveled, wild look. But here, he was downcast, downtrodden, like nothing he has ever been before or wanted to be. Yet his eyes stayed the same. The sorrow you saw reflected in the deep brown, the same you saw that winter day.
Still, Thorfinn didn't want to look at you.
...To The Unknown, I'll Go Against My Sorrow...
"What are you doing?" Was all he muttered instead, staring holes into the ground. The cloth hung in the hair before you dapped it in water again. "I don't know. I think I wanted to see if you're still...here."
Pressing the water out, you took his limb hands and gently glided the cloth over his course skin. "You shouldn't. You'll get in trouble and..." For a moment, Thorfinn glanced to the side, "...I'll drag you down with me."
You couldnt help the frown as you focused back on his hands and picking out the splinters of wood. Thorfinn dragged you down with him ever since you met him. Drowning together seemed like fate, a curse that befell upon you the moment you so foolishly returned his dagger.
Is it punishment for not being like Askeladd and letting him die? For not being like Canute and letting him be? Are people like you just meant to suffer in this world, all caused by your own actions?
It felt like it. Yet here you were with him again. Was a reunion another form of punishment, prolonging your suffering just a bit more before you die?
Was sitting here and tending to him suffering as well?
"I can't be dragged lower than this. There's nothing else." Finally, Thorfinn looked at you and the action was as painful as he thought it'd be. Your hair was longer, face bearing more and you've grown, too. Lidded eyes were focused on his calloused hand, the shadows of the night consuming you, not even the stars were bright enough. Hesitation would flicker within every minute, every moment, if it's really you - yet then his eyes would unwittingly search for the familiar injuries you had in the past, that one uniquness you wore, a certain pattern of speech and it would ease all doubts he had, eliminate them with the memory from just today. When you embraced him. When you told him he should be back in Iceland.
Thorfinn turned his hand around, grabbing one of yours, while the other one swiped the cloth in your hand off, as if it meant nothing in this, as if his injuries meant nothing at all, and held both of your hands in a tight, suffocating grip. With every passing second, they trembled more.
"You shouldn't be here. You should be somewhere far away, somewhere that isn't here. I'm doing this to you." He glared at your hands with an anguished frown, gripping them as if they could be swept away any second while yours were lying limbly in his. "I thought if I could be here...it'll be fine. But I'm still finding ways of doing this to you. Even after all I did...I'm still managing to hurt someone, and that's you."
Suddenly, he whipped his wide-eyed stare to you, taking in your own frustrated and chagrin-filled face. Your dry, pressed lips, the frown etched onto your visage, your bulging eyes. Thorfinn felt like he needed to continue before you began tearing up. "I'm...still me. But I will be here tomorrow. And the day after that." The blonde hesitated - before deciding to not promise it. He can't tell how much faith you can still put in him and neither can he.
Your watery gaze narrows before looking back over your shoulder. The house's lights are out and you'll need some to find your way back.
Slowly, weakly almost, you got on your feet. Hands still clung to Thorfinn's as they slowly slipped out of his grip. With one last look you offered to him, you hoarsely whispered, "You'll be here."
The man could only nod with wide eyes as you finally let go and went back. The darkness of the night swallowed you whole, only the sound of splashing water letting him know you're still nearby before only the sound of critters were left.
As Einar turned towards the entrance of the barn, he saw Thorfinn lying on his side. He watched him, the blonde almost motionless but the rise of his chest was a relief. He wondered how on earth Thorfinn could've fallen asleep so quickly but he didn't care enough to ponder for a minute more. This...guy. He was another beast, wasn't he?
He killed and pillaged and caused people like him and Arnheid and Pater to end up in places like this. Though Master Ketil was a kind trader, he was an exception to the rule. Anywhere else, and he might have it worse. And you seemed to be just like this guy.
One by one, the brunette took a step closer. How many has he killed? And have you taken lives as well? Can any of you remember?
The hay glided off his legs like snow. Have you caused fires, burned down fields and houses, flung spears and arrows into people?
He stood in front of him. The hay was warm around his knees. This murderer is now cutting down trees to make a field, to plant, to grow, to thrive. To feed people. To still their hunger, use the wood for houses and tools and use the wheat to bargain and trade.
His thick, scarred hands fit around his neck. The anger burning inside him and filling the hole in his chest made it easy to clam them around tightly. Einar could feel his pulse, steady and clear against his skin. Further back was part of his spine, feeling every movement of each inhale. Yet it feels so surprisingly soft when he puts pressure. Soft as his fingers curl around the back of his neck, squeezing the spine in, feeling his pulse quicken and his breath labored. The peaceful snores turned into winces, into pleas for the pain to stop.
Just a bit more. More. The blonde gasps, wiggling around in the hay as his whimpers turned into groans of pain. Somehow he could still breath.
"...Shit."
The throat was warm but Einar could feel his palms getting sweaty. In an blink of an eye, he surprised himself of how quickly he let go. His squatted legs trembled and stumbled back. Thorfinn didn't stop screaming.
Shit. He can't do it. Einar can't kill someone!
It's scary. The feel of someone's neck around your hands is terrifying and daunting, like a weight itself is put on his chest even though he is pretending to be the predator. To be stronger. To be the winner. He can't do it. He doesn't want to do it. He doesn't want to hate. He doesn't want anyone to die.
Suddenly his hands whipped out into the air, wailing around for help. Thorfinn gasped for air, only to screech out more. Even when Einar tried to kill him, he's still throwing a tantrum.
Quivering with hitched gasps, coughing and panting. It's the same every night.
A man like him. It's all nightmares, every night, and he knows it but now - now he wants to live to keep dreaming and live to keep seeing you and live to keep chopping down trees. Yet still, he feels so out of place here.
A desperate inhale and he reckoned he wanted to call for someone. His sweaty hand stiffened. In an blink of an eye he could feel it coil to a fist, pressure forcing his fingers down and he snapped his gaze wide open. Einar's hand clung around his.
"...You..." Thorfinn could finally feel the coolness of the air, the way the hay prickled his back as he desperately sucked in deep breaths like a man starved of food.
A good minute passed, at least to Einar, and Thorfinn shuffled around to sit up. He wiped the sweat off his face before glancing towards the brunette's back. Finally he calmed down, and noticed how dry his mouth was while swallowing. "...Why..." The blonde licked his lips, "...Why do you wake me...everytime I have a nightmare?" He took another breath and could clearly hear the crickets, hiding among the high grass, now. "...I...killed people, too." Propping his knee up, he leaned his elbow on it and his face against his hand - scarred and big enough to cover half his downtrodden visage. "I helped pillage and kill in each village I passed by. People like you. For years. I am...I am as despicable as the warriors that killed your family. And I'll just drag you down, too. So why-!"
Suddenly, Einar shot up, like a predator seeing his chance. Swiftly he snapped to him, a steel-tight grip on his tunic and a glare as dark as thunder as tears welled up in his eyes. "So, you wanna die, huh?!" He gave him a good shake and Thorfinn let it happen, "You wanna die here in the woods you chop down?! You and your - listen," His tone turned dark and Thorfinn's eyes widened, "I don't know exactly what happened to you. And I don't wanna know! I can't even imagine it!" Another rock, "But even if we are far down in our lowest point, there are - there are still some things we can be glad about to experience! Even if we just eat, work, sleep and shit all day, it's worth something! When you get cleaned up all nice, even when its with a stinky, worn out rag, it's still something! And all of that...all of that is only possible because someone let you live!"
Through gritted teeth, he swallowed his snot and fought against his tears. Images and voices of his mother and sister flashed by and Einar bit his lip to focus on the pain. He shook Thorfinn again.
"So be grateful for that at least! Do you hear me?!" He couldn't help but let a shaky sigh escape him. He didn't even have the strength to throw the blonde to the ground - he'd let that happen, too. So his grip grew softer and in defeat, Einar slumped down on his side of the barn. "Besides," He muttered, "It's not like you were the one who killed my family."
His brown eyes observed his hunched back, the way his body curled into a ball. Quiet and steady were his breaths as Thorfinn looked back to his hand. His scarred, calloused hand Einar took to get him back to the waking world, to the cold and dark night, the crisp air as crickets played their songs. It was better. Calmer than any other place he had ever been to.
"...Thank you, Einar." His voice was a mere attempt to utter his gratitude but it made Einar's heart beat faster. "Thank you for always waking me when I have a nightmare."
"...Yeah. Can't get a good night's sleep with you brailing around. Just go to sleep, Thorfinn."
"I will. I'll get up with you tomorrow."
Mighty River, Release My Soul, Out To The Open Gold...
He did wake up first.
Washed his face, stretched, got his axe. Waited for Einar to finish his chatting with Arnheid as you came around the corner.
It seemed like Pater was not angry last night nor did you get in trouble. Thorfinn couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
Einar noticed you as well and tried to give his best welcoming smile. "...Good morning!" The brunette noticed the crack in his voice but tried to brush off his embarassment with a wider grin. You blinked and gave a somber reply. "Oh...good morning." Your eyes immediately went to the shorter blonde, seeing him ready with the axe over his shoulder. His locks hid the shine in his gaze. He, too, greeted you. "Good morning."
The sound of your name on his tongue felt foreign. Like a hometown meal he hadn't had in ages, or learning a melody from his long-gone childhood. He saw your eyes widen as you struggled to instantly give a response. "G-Good morning, Thorfinn..."
His back was straighter, you weren't sure if he even noticed that himself, and his steps were heavy. The deep rise and fall of his chest was...relieving in a way, but before you could glance at him again, Einar sucked in a baited breath and stepped forward. "Well, we'd best get going, haha!" His laughter was too forced and so was his goofy grin, "Trees don't chop themselves! Uh, have a good, productive day, you two! See you later!" He marched away with a comedic wave towards Arnheid, and with Thorfinn in tow.
The woman chuckled before looking at you. "We're lucky to have such sweet and funny guys as our neighbors, don't we?"
The sun slowly went her way down across the sky but Thorfinn was more eager than ever to drop his axe, rope and knife to walk towards the edge of the decreasing forest. Einar rose a brow but brushed his confusion off, believing the blonde wanted to greet the master. "You're up and about, you lads, aren't you? Very good work ethics, I must say."
"Thank you, Master Ketil." Einar noted Thorfinn's quick and serious reply but kept his mouth shut. As fair as Ketil was, here on his high horse, it wasn't like Thorfinn to be so eager for conversations with him. "I do plan to turn this place into a field in about three years," Thorfinn added with an determined tone, his words cut and clear. Ketil, too, rose a brow. "Oh? Have you planned for that exact time?" The shorter man shook his head. "No. But I will get it done by then."
Look at that guy. Talking all high and mighty, confident like a carpenter as if Einar isn't doing half the work, too!
"And when it is done, Master...I'd like to ask you for a favor." The elder straightened his back and took a sharp inhale. Thorfinn making any suggestions piqued his interest - yet rather in puzzlement. "What did you have in mind, boy?"
Now, he, too, straightened his back, widened his eyes as if trying to pierce through Ketil's soul, wanting dearly for him to understand the utter necessity that bore in his words, that tore apart his heart. He had to say it and the man had to understand. Please.
"If you would so kindly allow, I'd like to work as much as I need to till this soil and grow its crops here. But instead of buying myself, I'd like to sell you the produce in order to buy their freedom back."
"What?!"
Both Einar and Ketil jumped at the boldness of his words. Thorfinn didn't blink an eye as he kept his expectant stare on the master. "Thorfinn...do you know what you're saying? Three years, at the least, all for this...one, one person? You don't mean the shy, new one?"
"I do." Thorfinn did not falter, "I want to work to buy their freedom back. To get somewhere else, far away from here. I want them to be free."
I Can't Stay Here Forever In This Hollow...
----
okay, so, this took too long-
first of all, I noticed way too late that Einar is, in fact, not a brunette;;;;his hair is rather dark reddish...oops. i'll pay more attention to that in the next also, i read a few posts of manga-onlys/those who read the manga first that they didn't like Einar's confrontation with Thorfinn in the barn after their drama with Snake. That he's too violent, put in a bad light and I do get that - considering how incredibly kind and open-minded the guy actually is and even called Thorfinn his friend in that very chapter (in the anime it happened way later). this is...complete bias on my part but I don't mind the scene in the anime. its scary, almost unnecessarily so in some regards considering how long the strangle goes on, like wtf - but I do like that it allowed Einar to be angry and grief in a rather negative way and realise in the midst of the action that what he is doing is wrong and that he physically does not have the guts nor want to kill someone. Imo not even giving into the thought of hurting Finny (like in the manga) shows more maturity but I don't mind both scenes. Plus, I like his speech of finding even the smallest things worthwhile and letting go of his anger in the moment to wake up Finn, cause he knows its wrong - that he isnt doing anything helpful or good, despite not liking Finn during that time at all.
ngl, I didn't get his speech at first - but pondering it about it more, Einar had already gone through a tragedy as a child with his father fighting off warriors/vikings to defend their village and not being sold off as slaves. After the huge amount of damage vikings have done (I imagine), there was prbly a lot of things to recover and rebuild again where all he, as a child, could do was work to rebuild, eat what they had, sleep as much as he could, and shit all day until their village recovered and they could enjoy their peace again - aka Einar being rather hopeful and ready to do that all over again as a slave and buy his freedom back.

Can you do Edelgard, Bernedetta, and Alear with an S/O that takes them out to Stargaze in the night?
(FE:3H/FE:Engage) Edelgard, Bernadetta, and Alear's S/O taking them out to stargaze
Edelgard has looked at the stars many times in her life.
Many of those times were reminiscing on simpler days, leading to even darker thoughts.
Though this was the first time she could truly take a moment to appreciate the beautiful sight, the stars lighting the trees around her and S/O.
In who knows how long, she was able to sit down with someone she loved and be a normal girl. For now, the worries of being Emperor could be laid to rest, making Edelgard lean into S/O's shoulder.
There was no one to see her be this vulnerable, after all.
(Edelgard) "It appears tonight was the best time to come out."
(S/O) "Hm, I'd say it's average."
She turns her head to them, confused.
(Edelgard) "Average?"
(S/O) "There's actually plenty of nights where it looks like this out here. You're usually knee-deep in work to notice."
Noticing their smirk, Edelgard sighs, knowing they were teasing her.
(Edelgard) "Is that your way of saying I need to get out more?"
(S/O) "Simply making an observation, my lady."
Chuckling at the emphasis of their last words, Edelgard's gaze turns back to the sky.
(Edelgard) "I know it may be hard for you to believe S/O, but being the Emperor requires attention almost every second."
(S/O) "True, but it's good to get some fresh air every now and then."
(Edelgard) "On that, I will agree...Especially with pleasant company."
S/O smiled and leaned into Edelgard as well, both saying nothing and enjoying the rare moment of quiet.
Bernadetta yawns as she lays down onto the grass, watching as the stars glittered in the sky.
(S/O) "Soooo, glad I got you out of your room now?"
(Bernadetta) "H-Hey! I haven't stayed cooped up in there in years, S/O!"
(S/O) "But you were thinking about that, weren't you?"
Bernadetta scoffs, resting her hands on her stomach now.
(Bernadetta) "Maybe a little...But if I have you here with me then...I can make an effort to at least appreciate life a little more."
S/O said nothing and instead smiled, their hand brushing against hers.
Taking the hint, Bernadetta squeezed it back, their hands just resting in each other's grasp as they stared into the sky.
(Bernadetta) "Were the lights always this pretty?"
(S/O) "I'd say mostly. Even back during the academy, it was nice to just watch for a few hours."
Bernadetta's lips curled into a small smile.
(Bernadetta) "Is that why you were so sleepy whenever I saw you in class?"
(S/O) "Psh! As if you actually came out enough to see that. Until Ingrid kicked down your door-"
(Bernadetta) "Ugh! Don't remind me!"
The two made pleasant smalltalk under the starry night.
Alear smiled as S/O and her sat near the pool, feet dangling in the water and looking upward.
(Alear) "It's so...peaceful tonight."
(S/O) "Because the others aren't here?"
Alear nodded her head sideways in agreement, though the noise she made indicated otherwise.
(Alear) "Thaaat, and well, the Somniel is quiet anyways, usually."
(S/O) "Should we come out here to look at the stars more often?"
(Alear) "I'd like that."
Their hands laced together, Alear kicking her feet slowly in the waters, careful not to splash it on themselves.
When there wasn't a battle to prepare for, or just the usual shenanigans of the others disturbing the peace, the stars up here were quiet beautiful.
Was that because Somniel was higher up? She couldn't say.
All she knew was that she loved moments like these.
(Alear) "...How much do you wanna bet we'll have someone interrupt us?"
(S/O) "Depends. How much gold do we have saved up?"
(Alear) "Probably not enough for what you're wanting."
