When Leo saw you in your cage, he was shocked. I mean, he wouldn't put it beyond him. Like "yeah that adds up". But seeing it was still so jarring.

When he saw the collar with the word "pet" engraved on it, Leo almost lost his cool.

When he saw you pressed up against the bars, staring up at him and his brothers with such wonder, he knew he needed to keep it together.

"I didn't know there was somebody like me..." Your voice comes out in a whisper and Leo smiles and bends to your level.

"That's right. And we're here to bust you out and take you somewhere safe, ok?"

He has Donnie break you out and his heart almost breaks at seeing all the bruises and scars on your body.

"What about Master? If he finds me gone, he'll be upset." You murmur, eyes downcast in worry and fear.

"Let him be mad. We'll protect you".

Raph didn't know how to react at first. Another turtle? Fantastic! They're being kept as Shredder's pet? Fuck that bitch, he deserves to fucking die.

Raph is the first one to deal with the collar. He asks you gently if he can take it off and you eagerly nod.

If Raph didn't hate Shredder before, he utterly despises him now.

Raph becomes one of the most protective over you, you're his little buddy now. No you don't get a choice in this.

He gently tries to nudge you to get into the gym with him so you can get strong.

He can get a bit too protective at times but you know it's only because he's worried. A gentle pat on his arm and a smile and he usually relents.

If he gets the chance to fight Shredder again, this man will need to be restrained from ripping throat out in your honor.

Heaven forbid that man get his hands on you again. Not even Leo will be able to keep him from busting the door down and smashing Shredder's head into a brick wall.

Utterly shocked when he first sees you. He knew Shredder was horrible man but not even he expected something like this.

Keeping a mutant as some little plaything? A pet? You were essentially his slave. It made him so mad.

Donnie's very soft with you. Very gentle and patient. He doesn't let people in his lab very often, but when he sees you peaking in one day, he let's you in.

Sometimes the larger machinery can scare you because it reminds you of Shredder, so Donnie puts large blankets or tarps over them.

Sometimes shares his pop tarts with you if you catch him working late at night because you can't sleep.

Immediately wants to teach you how to fight and get you your own signature weapon and color too.

Excitedly introduces you to April and Casey. Not so excitedly introduces you to Vern.

Loves doing parallel play with you when you finally get comfortable enough to hang around him and his brothers without exhausting yourself too much.

Immediately wants to join Raph in ripping Shredder's throat out but he's better at hiding his anger, not as good as Donnie and Leo though.

Gets Donnie to get you a phone so you can text him if you need literally anything.

Night Terrors in the middle of the night? Call him. He'll come sooth you back to sleep. Want food but don't want to socialize? Text him and he'll get you a whole pizza for yourself.

Is the first one to introduce you to Master Splinter. He's so excited to have another turtle sibling. He already loves you so much.

He can understand how hard it can be to have a lot of trauma so he's always there for you if you need to talk or need a silly distraction from all those dark thoughts in your mind.

One of the first people to start recognizing your triggers and icks and does his best to cater to them or to stop whatever's triggering you before it gets too bad.

Big ole sweetheart who desperately wants to see Shredder six foot under. Another one that will try to fight for honor.

So we knew implicitly that we needed to do a different version of that scene, one in which Alex isn't at all certain of success.  "In the book, Alex is willing to burn down the castle in order to get what he wants, and although the scene actually uses a lot of dialogue from the book, our Alex in the film knows that if this doesn't work, their relationship is over. So he's a little more careful with Henry, more fearful, and Henry is more heartbroken, and those decisions really determined everything else that followed in the scene."

ML: We had to break for lunch, and we haven't finished the scene and I was really, really worried that we were gonna come back from lunch and I would've lost them and never re-captured what was happening on set before lunch. And it was the pivotal part of the scene, the end where Alex makes an ultimatum to Henry. We got back on set and we started filming again and instantly in the first take, after lunch, Taylor started crying and Nick was facing away from him and he heard Taylor, and Nick started crying. The back half of that scene is so beautiful because they're doing such great work and I really had a difficult time cutting it because there was such beautiful, nuanced work from both of them. What's so remarkable about it is they had just had lunch, and they came right back into it and they were more dialled in, more in touch with each other than before. It was pretty remarkable. I have to say that was the moment I knew that whatever happened with this movie, those two actors would be fine in their careers.

The lair was tense, the Hamato family was scattered around. Donnie, Mikey, and Splinter were in the med bay doing check ups. Raph was in his room and April and Casey were out getting food.

You and Leo were in his room, sitting together in silence. Something Leo had said caught you off guard during the last battle.

You and Leo got stuck with one of the smaller krangs under a large cave of rubble. The creature had gotten a hit on your shoulder that caused you to fall down. Leo's rage fueled him to finally kill the monster.

He ran to you falling to his knees in worry next to you. Tears start to build in his eyes as he holds pressure onto your wound. You're going in and out of unconsciousness from the blood loss.

"Y/n? Y/n please stay with me." His voice seems hoarse and he can feel the tears start running down his face. When you don't respond he starts to panic "I can't lose you! Y/n I love you."

The two of you a sitting facing each other on the terrapin's bed. He was fiddling with his fingers in embarrassment. You had finally gotten done getting stitched up meaning you were free to leave the infirmary.

You immediately went searching for the turtle leader. The two of you hadn't had time to talk about what you heard Leo say. Although you were delirious you can't help but hear the repeating three words playing in your head.

That leads you to being in awkward silence trying to ignore the way both of you are flushed. Leo had secretly hoped you were too out of it to understand what he said. Or hope you ignored it. Anything to keep him from this.

Leo wished to keep your relationship intact. But s profession of love? Absolutely not part of any plan he had about telling you how he felt. Not that he was going to even attempt to confess to you but still, not part of the plan!

Your voice breaks through his thought spiral. "Leo-" You can't even get the words out before he interrupts you. "Do you remember anything that I said." He knows he doesn't have to specify when, although he wants to deny it deep down he knows you heard.

"I remember all of it." Leo's breath catches at your words. He begins to ramble. "I'm sorry, you can just forget everything I said-" He starts to let out every last thought he has.

He starts to move his hands around while speaking sporadically. With quick thinking you quickly lean in, gently grabbing the sides of his face. Your lips meet, effectively shutting him up.

For a second both of you are still. Leo's whole body frozen in shock. After a minute he seems to come back to himself. Leo begins to deepen the kiss as best he can.

It's uncoordinated and slightly awkward with your position. But to him it's like fireworks going off all around you. When you part Leo follows your lips in a desperate attempt to keep you close. You heavy breathing mixes together from the close proximity.

Leo rests his forehead on yours, his eyes hazy and half closed. Leo begins to try and speak again, hes even more feazzled then before. You cut him off before he can go down a rabbit hole again. "Leo I love you too now please just shut up."

You lean in to kiss him again, this time feeling a smile pull at his lips. His hand reaches up to the back of your head to pull you in closer to him. "Just this once I can do that."

Matt and I have been seeing each other in secret now for many months. The only person who knows about our relationship is Gabby since she walked in on us in Matts office.

The reason we haven't told everyone is because of my brothers Will and Jay, mainly Jay. Jay is very protective of me. Any time I have introduced him to a boyfriend, Jay has to do the 'I'm a cop' scare on them and more often than not my boyfriend leaves me not wanting to be part of the overprotective family.

Matt and I are in the kitchen pretending that we aren't dating one another when Jay walks in

"Halstead your brothers here" I turn around after hearing Herrmann's voice

"Hey what are you doing here?" I ask Jay. I then notice he looks angry "what's wrong?" I frown

"What's wrong? This is what's wrong" Jay throws Matts jacket on the counter top "who is he?"

"Jay can we not do this here?" I ask looking around at everyone looking at me and my brother, my eye notice a nervous looking Matt

"Tonight I'm coming over with Will and your going to tell me who's jacket that is" with that Jay storms out of the firehouse

"So our little Halstead has a secret boyfriend" Severide smiles at me wiggling his eyebrows. He looks down at the jacket and his smile changes before gasping

"Matt? Matts your boyfriend?"

"Shhhh" I hush Severide "you know what Jay's like"

"Your going to have to tell YN"

"I know Gabs, I will but please for the sake of mine and Matts relationship all of you keep your mouths shut. Herrmann I'm looking at you"

"At least we don't have to keep quiet here" Matt says smiling

"You wanna tell Boden? Because he's gonna find out" Matt frowns then groans "then I'll be transferred"

"You won't. Your the PIC of ambo. Boden will just tell you to keep your relationship out the door" Severide says trying to make me feel better.

For the rest of my shift I'm so scared about seeing Jay and Will tonight. We told Boden about us and like Severide said Boden just wants us to stay professional and if we can't then on of us will get transferred. I grab a beer just as the front door is opened. In walks Jay and Will holding their own beers in hand

"Hey" I call from the kitchen of my apartment

"Right. Let's get down to it shall we. Who the fucks jacket was that?" Jay asks angrily

"Ok 1 why we're you in my apartment without me? And 2 why should I tell you?" I see Will sigh behind Jay

"I left my wallet here last night. I used the spare key, and there it was on the couch. That jacket"

"Jay, chill"

"Will she's seeing someone, what if he's a bad guy"

"He's not Jay I promise"

"That's what you said about the last one. Look YN I don't want you to get hurt again"

"I know, but I promise the guy I'm seeing is a good guy"

"Jay if she says he's a good guy let's just leave her to it" I give Will a small smile to say thank you

"I just want to know who this guy is"

"Fine. If I tell you you have to promise me you won't go mad"

"Can't promise anything YN" I take in a deep breath and sigh

"Fine. I'm dating Matt Casey"

"Matt?" Jay looks shocked at first then smiles "wait I like Matt, he's a good guy. Why did you keep this a secret?" I look at Jay with raised brows

"Your not serious? Your giving me whiplash" I shake my head

"Tell him to come over, have dinner with us"

"Jay I can't just expect him to drop everything"

Before I know it Matt is over with a beer in his hand chatting to Jay. Will and I are stood off to the side

"So before I was worried about Jay breaking Matt and I up, now I'm worried about Jay stealing my boyfriend" I laugh

"At least they're getting on" Will says "you know Jay just wants to keep you safe, doesn't want to see you broken-hearted again"

"I know, but sometimes it can just get a bit to much you know"

"I know" Will pulls me into him and gives me a hug before we head over to join Jay and Matt.

Valen-time 02: A Hand to Hold(Future Rise Leo x Reader)

Your eyes scan over Leo’s head, taking in the dark void that Leo had claimed was our room. You feel the arms around you tighten their grip the smallest amount at your movement. You look back down, seeing Leo’s tired eyes staring back at you. “You’re supposed to be asleep.”

His voice is heavy, a quiet testament to the stress weighing on him. His face was outlined in the dim light, the blanket you both slept on in place of a bed scrunched up and messied. You  couldn’t help but stare, his every feature making you swoon. He looked peaceful despite the pain he was working through, his eyes anguished and his face still full of grime despite the many times he scrubbed it after his patrol. You lean over, giving him a soft kiss on the forehead, hoping dearly it would help him settle down and trick his racing thoughts into believing he was safe. "So are you."

He rolls his eyes at your response, pulling you closer as he buries his face into your neck. His constant nuzzling reminded you of a wounded animal searching for safety. He stays quiet for a while after, neither of you pulling away from the other. It’s comforting being beside him, the worries of outside and your imminent death no longer weighing in your mind, even if it’s only for a small moment. Leo’s hand was wrapped around you, pressing firmly into the small of your back so you couldn’t leave his side even if you wanted to.

It was comforting. The way he smelled, the way he felt, the way he was holding you so close you couldn't help but feel loved. Everything about him was everything you ever wanted, everything you ever needed. Despite the apocalypse, you couldn't help but be happy when you were near him. Leo was your one and only, your life and death. You lean down and press a kiss to the wrinkles forming on his forehead, the commonly coined 'Raph' chasm seeming to spread amongst the other brothers as well.

Leo leans up after the kiss, his eyes watering and a pained expression plated across his face. You quickly shifted the way you were laying, your arms leaving his sides to cup his face and wipe away any tears that might fall. 

"Leo? Hey, baby, what's wrong?" You say, ignoring the obvious answer of what was wrong. Right now, everything and anything was wrong, but you just hoped it was something you could help fix. Leo continues to just look at you for a moment, his eyes studying your face and constantly flickering between you and the walls behind you. You patiently wait for him to speak, not wanting to force him into an explanation before he is ready.

“Do you remember?” His voice caught you off guard, the soft spoken words coming out of the now leader of the resistance. He sounded so broken, so unlike the hopeful persona he slapped on earlier when tucking Casey Jr. into bed.

"Remember what?" You ask, confused and dearly hoping he wasn't thinking about what you knew he was. Leo looks into your eyes, the pain and guilt breaking through his tough exterior he had managed to keep up for so long. Leo takes a moment to gather his thoughts, to bring himself back down from the spiral he was about to become caught in. 

"It's my fault." He repeats, sounding absolutely broken. "It's all my fault. I ruined everything."

He doesn't even give you time to respond before he pulls you close, his arms trembling around you as he tries his hardest not to sob. There were too many people around, too many ears and eyes just a few feet away for him to truly grieve the world he lost. For him to grieve the opportunities he would no longer have, the family and friends that had succumbed to his mistakes. Every quiet sob tore your heart in two. 

You waste no time pulling his face close and quietly shushing him, whispering sweet nothings into his ear to try and make him feel even marginally better. To see your husband break down like this was something that almost never happened, a once in a lifetime event. You knew that his cocky and proud facade would collapse eventually, but you had at least assumed there would be some indication beforehand.

“It wasn’t your fault. You didn’t know.” You gently soothe, both thumbs rubbing his cheeks and wiping his tears. Leo doesn’t comment, his wet and warm face stricken with regret. You didn’t know how to help, how to bring his spirits back up. So instead you wait, letting him cry in your arms for as long as he needs. You could talk about his doubts and guilt later, comforting him and making sure he could process the loss he has to face everyday was your top priority. You don’t stop massaging his cheeks until you feel his weight start to press down on you more, and his cries start to lessen.

You barely breathe until you’re certain he was finally asleep, a tight frown despite no longer being awake. You let out a soft sigh, pulling him closer and settling down. You continue to watch him for a while, making sure his chest moved and his eyes stayed closed. Him being so distraught earlier pained you, but you understood the stress and remorse he had weighing down on him. Putting those thoughts aside, you press your forehead against his and fall asleep, not letting go for a moment.

I've been compleatly OBSSESED with neon void so far!!! It's by far my favorite fic of any I've read!! After every chapter I have to take a second to do the happy stimmies because you write all of the scenes so well. Whenever I see a new update I clear the next hour for reading it and the subsequent geek out sesion for how AMAZING it always is. You write extremely well, you convey the characters so acurately, the fight scenes are creative, the way you write Leo's perspective is AMAZING, love the font changes, the angst PALPABLE, and just over all I love everything you're able to do with this concept. The way you can see Leo's mental state deteriorating through out the fic is just *chefs kiss*. There's so much I love about the fic that I can't possibly list everything.

Also the established difference between teleporting and portaling is so great, it adds to the pure panic that void causes for the boys aside from, y'know, crazy dude capable of beating Big Mama within an inch of her life and STRAIGHT UP OFFING a buch of other yokai. It does wonders for establishing him as a threat even though he technically isn't for the turtles. Plus I'm sure that once they find out who Void really is, it will add a bunch of tension since they'll need to stop Leo from literally SCATTERING HIS ATOMS ACROSS SPACE.

AND THE CHAPTER PREVIEW ISTG I've never gotten so much serotonin from being in this much pain ;0; The gif is perfect to set the mood, I can't wait to see what happens. You're ablility to choose just the right thing to stab so many people directly through the heart is nothing short of super-natural. BUT PLEASE give the boi some happiness, if not for his sake, for mine-

ANYWAYS this is all a VERY long way of saying, I absolutely love this and I had to draw the silly boi being the silly boi. I needed to draw him happy for the health of my heart ;-; (don't worry though, I'm working on some tasty angst right now)

Can't wait to see where everything goes, GOOD LUCK TO CASEY but there only six chapters left so we're getting to the end game now >:D

Something i really, REALLY loved about Rise was the fights. Not only was the animation amazing, but it was always so creative. I try my best to make the fight scenes as silly as the boys can be, while utilizing their adaptive skills to use their surroundings to their advantage.

And bruh trying to balance Leo’s insanity in a believable way has been such a (fun) challenge so it makes me so happy to hear you like it 😭🥺 and I’m so glad people seem to like the ‘teleportation’ gimmick I’ve got going on (and that it hopefully makes sense omg)

(And i will admit I’m a little proud of my chapter previews because they are so fun to write, and i like to reassure readers that 1) i have a plan and 2) I’m keeping myself accountable to finish LOL)

Two hours, it barely felt that way, but two hours have passed.

"Want me to take over?" Raph questioned, likely to the other two than to Leo, "Both of you must be tired."

Followed by an "I'm fine, thank you!" and "Just a snack break!"

Leo could barely hear his surroundings, eyes laser focused on the little parasite that had kept his brother in such a state for so long. It was almost over... They'd be free from this nightmare.

"Brain surgery takes four to five hours, but since I didn't have to cut him open we should be done soon," Leo mentioned, mostly to soothe their worries. Maybe also to calm himself down.

"How are you feeling, buddy?"

"Tired, cold... And thirsty." There was a weight to his voice, one Leo wouldn't usually hear from Donnie. "And ready for this to be- ACK!"

"Huh? You shouldn't be able to feel-" Leo's explanation was quickly interrupted by interjections.

"Sensei! His eye!"

"It hurts..."

"Leo!"

He wasn't giving up. "It's almost out!"

"It hurts, it hurts, it HURTS-"

"He's in pain!"

And Leo wanted his brother back. "Hold him down!"

Leo's eyes narrowed in focus, zeroing in on the problem. Keep a cool and steady head, calm down, and assess the situation, "It's trying to grab onto anything within reach."

"Leo! Just hurry up!"

Donnie thrashed. He was moving, the parasite was forcing him to jolt and thrash and neither the metal extensions nor Casey were strong enough. "Shit! Hold him!"

Raph rushed forward, hand on his plastron that moved to his shell. That soft shell. No, Raph!

Donnie's maw drew open, teeth bared and primed. Leo and Raph barely had time to register what it meant, barely had time to react.

"Raph!"

The maw came down on metal; SHELLDON's arm, but it was only a temporary fix.

Too much at once, too little time to think.

Come on, Leo! You have your quick thinking and Donnie's big brain! You're not losing your brother. You AREN'T, you CAN'T.

His eyes narrowed at the parasite. It thrashed, trying to grab onto his gloved arm but remain rooted to his brain. It wanted something organic.

Dread settled in Leo's stomach, but his mind was made.

It wants a host. I'll give it one.

He pulled the scalpel away from the portal, gripping the metal tight in his hands. It might just be the last thing he'll feel in that arm, he cherished the feeling. He'll fix it.

"Casey..."

He let his ninpo flood into the scalpel, feeling the light metal shift into the familiar weight of his katana. It wasn't about him.

"I need you to take this."

There wasn't time to hesitate. Not when his FAMILY was at stake. Leo handed Casey the sword.

"And when you see it."

With his teeth, he tore the glove off his hand. He let himself cherish the cool air and breeze, knowing it would be his last.

"I need you to cut off my other arm."

Pair: Bayverse!Donnie x reader

Summary: The Turtles infiltrated Police Headquarters and get caught. One police officer insulted them and that's not going by (Y/N) that easily.

Being Donnie's girlfriend, the Turtles figured you'd be calm and collected like him. But in reality, your like Raph in a tiny, human body. So when times like this happens, they have no idea what kind of (Y/n) they're gonna get.

"Are you freaking kidding me?!" You hissed at Donnie as you go around from your hiding spot, Mikey running the other way to tell Raph what he heard.

You knew the Turtles were starting to struggle not being accepted, especially since they're growing up and hatred being stuck in the sewers.

Raph was getting more hotheaded as ever around his brothers, Mikey was starting to get annoying, though the orher two brothers were calmer you can still tell they wanna be above ground.

Leo and Donnie looked at you, Leo sighs "We can explain"

"No, no. Its the lying for me" You said. "Leo, your gonna lose their trust. Especially Raph's"

"They don't need to know every decision I make-"

"But a big change like this?" You sighs. "Forget it, forget I said anything"

You walked away towards the homemade pizza box couch and collapsed. Sighing, you take out your phone and scrolled through Instagram.

Leo was practicing his katas when Raph came out of his gym, he walked slowly towards the leader, ready to let out steam.

"Pop quiz" Raph says jumping onto the platform. "What are the three most important traits of a ninja?"

Leo gave him a small grin as he continues his kata, "Speed. Stealth-"

"And honour. Where's the honour in keeping secrets from your brothers?" Raph accused.

"I don't know what your talking about?"

"Oh now your adding lying on the list" Raph accused.

You walk over to the two, pushing them apart by their plastrons. "Enough"

"But-"

You raised a finger as Raph silence, a clear annoyed look on his face.

"This isn't fair Leonardo. Lying to your brothers about a life changing event. What is with you?" You sternly spoke.

If you two are referring to what Donnie told me about the purple ooze, it's called compartmentalization of information," Leo replies closing up on Raph's face.

"If there's even a chance that ooze can make us human-"

"We're turtles, whether you like it or not," Leo says in aggravation.

"It's not about what I like, it's about what people up there are willing to accept!" Raph gestures to outside.

"True acceptance only comes from within," Leo recites.

"Don't give me that fortune cookie muck" Raph glares.

You backed from the two, shaking your head as you turned and walked away. Donnie rushes after you, worried about your reacting to all of this.

"You have to believe me when I say this isn't the outcome I wanted" Donnie said.

You shake your head, "Why didn't you tell me, or consult me? Why Leo?"

"I... I get guess I got too excited" he sighs. "This is something I thought everyone would want. To be normal and living above grouns. You know? To be a normal couple"

"Honey" you coo, reaching out for his hand. "I'm so sorry"

"It's fine-"

"It's not. Donnie, you should have told me this is how you felt. I should've took it into consideration. I shouldn't have gotten mad" you said.

"I'm sorry, I-" his device on left wrist beeped, Donnie paused to take a look and gave you a sincere look. "I'm sorry honey, there's a break in-"

"Say no more" you smiled. "Go be a hero"

"Leo. Leo, an alarm just tripped at the Hayden Planetarium. We have to get uptown" Donnie reports rushing towards the blue and red clad.

"Gear up, Donnie" Leo commands. "You two stay here"

"You're benching me?" Raph yells out as the two left.

"What did I do?!" Mikey asks.

Raph had a plan. He had a plan to infiltrate the Police Headquarters with Mikey to get the last of the ooze they got in custody. He called April and Casey down to the lair with a plan in mind, the problem is how to get (Y/n) into the plan without getting much trouble.

He approaches you slowly, as you sat at Donnie's surveillance room watching as your boyfriend and the leader in blue arrive at the museum.

"Hey (Y/n), do you have a minute?" Raph asked.

You turned the chair around, "Sure. What's up Raph?"

"I know Leo and I got into an argument about the ooze-"

"Let me guess you wanna go into police headquarters to find it and use it for yourself?" You said crossing your arms.

"I-I wouldn't say it like that" Raph replied shyly.

"The blue prints are printed. Do not tell Donnie" you said with a smirk. "I'll be reckon. Watch from the outside"

"Thanks" Raph sighs and turns to walk away, but paused. "Why are you helping me?"

"I... I guess I never considered how Donnie really felt. He never told me about his desire to be normal and when he did... I guess I wanna make it up to him" you said.

"You're a good girlfriend (Y/n). Don't forget it" he smiles.

(Y/n) gathered the blue prints and pens, as the rest gathered around the dinner table. April and Casey arrived and sat next to each other, (Y/n) sat next to Mikey who dug into the pizza.

Raph clears his throat as everyone looked up at him, "We need to break into Police Headquarters"

A pause.

A really long, awkward pause.

"So, you want us to break into Police Headquarters?" April repeats.

"Uh, yeah" Raph states obviously. "Donnie said he needs more of the purple ooze to track Bebop and Rocksteady. And you said the cops would've logged it into their evidence control room by now"

"Okay, and Leo is good with this plan?" April questions skeptically.

(Y/n) clears her throat. "Actually, Raph is in charge of this one. Right Mikes?"

"U-Uh right" Mikey says unsure.

Raph places the blueprint down the table. "So, we can take the elevator shafts and vents. We need you three to stay on the ground-"

"Whoa I can't just walk into Police Headquarters" Casey refused.

"What are you? Chicken?" Raph teased.

"Hey!" Casey stood, closing up to Raph. "Who are you calling chicken, turtle?"

(Y/n) chuckles, her temper rising carefully. She reaches out pulling Casey down back his seat. "Listen, do you want to get Beebop and Rocksteady or not?"

Another pause, Casey says. "So we're breaking into Police Headquarters"

"We got one last boondoggle. We need to find someone to sneak you guys in past security checkpoint" Raph says looking at Mikey is disgust as the youngest turtle made a pizza sandwich with pizza. "Only plan I got so far may be a tad less appetizing"

After convincing Vern to break into the police, everyone got to their spot. (Y/n) sat across the headquarters, looking through the binoculars. Her heart jump out of her chest as she sees the two mutant turtles breakthrough the ceiling. She tossed the binoculars and rushed into the headquarters, seconds before Leo and Donnie arrive.

"Raph, what're you doing with that?" Leo accuses.

"Honey?!" Donnie exclaims seeing his lover.

"Freeze! Don't move! Don't move!" An officer shouts, gun pointed.

Raph's eyes widen repeating, "No, no, no, no, no, no!"

"Freeze right there!"

"Don't move! We'll shoot!"

Raph and Mikey looked at each other as they slowly kneel, (Y/n) rushes towards the two as the officer raises his gun shooting. Pain filled (Y/n)'s right shoulder as she places herself in front of the youngest turtle.

"Don't shoot them" (Y/n) pleads, she winces her shoulder bleeds out.

"Move girl!" An officer shouts.

"No!" (Y/n) shouts. "You don't understand!-"

BANG!

(Y/n) didn't know how quickly it happened. A shot was fired and she placed her body between Raph and Mikey, no matter how small she still blocked them. She felt a huge pain on her chest, she struggled to breathe, she barely registered her body hitting the ground as the four yell out for her.

She saw the color purple as her eyes dropped close.

Fake Scenarios In My Head #25

Alex and Casey loved the energy of the city, but sometimes they needed a break from the constant hustle and bustle. Eager for a few peaceful days by the ocean, they spontaneously packed their bags and gathered some supplies to spend the weekend at the Cabot Family beach house. They looked forward to quiet walks along the waterfront and the chance to really enjoy one another, undisturbed and in a relaxed atmosphere.

After a full day of enjoying the quiet beach, savoring delicious food, and taking leisurely walks, Alex and Casey finally made their way back to the house. Feeling refreshed and relaxed, they settled down in the living room to watch a movie.

Alex leaned back against the plush cushions of the couch, her head resting on her girlfriend's shoulder. It had been weeks since they'd had any real time together, their hectic schedules keeping them apart more than either of them liked. The warmth and comfort of being close, of touching, was too tempting. Soft touches and whispered words escalated into something deeper. Alex's fingers traced lazy circles on Casey's skin and soon the world outside the room faded away. Casey's hands found their way under her girlfriend's blouse and she responded by pulling her closer, their kisses growing more intense by the second. Clothes began to slip off, piece by piece, as they lost themselves in each other, the movie they'd chosen playing unnoticed in the background.

Then, the sound of a throat clearing shattered the haze.

Alex froze, her heart leaping into her throat as she glanced over her shoulder. Standing in the doorway, looking more amused than shocked, was her older brother, Max. His eyebrows shot up as he took in the scene before him—his sister, half-undressed, tangled up with a woman he didn’t know, doing things he never imagined walking in on.

“Max!” Alex exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and embarrassment. She hastily pulled a throw blanket over herself and her girlfriend, her face flushing a deep crimson.

Max stood there for a moment, still trying to process what he had just seen. "Alex, what...?" He blinked, then a grin slowly spread across his face. "Well, this is... new."

Alex opened her mouth to reply, but Max cut her off with a teasing grin. "I didn't know you'd be here, let alone with a date. And I definitely didn't know that you had a girlfriend - or that you were into girlfriends in the first place."

Still red-faced and flustered, Alex managed a quick nod. "Yeah, well... surprise."

Max chuckled and shook his head. "And here I thought I had you all figured out."

Alex muttered, "Guess I'm full of surprises. Though this wasn't exactly how I planned on telling you... obviously."

Casey, more amused than embarrassed, sat up and adjusted her clothes with casual ease. She gave Alex's hand a reassuring squeeze before standing and offering Max a friendly smile. "Hi, I'm Casey," she introduced herself, holding out her hand. "Sorry for the, um... surprise."

Max, still grinning, shook Casey's hand with a friendly squeeze. "Hey, I'm Max. Nice to meet you, Casey."

He looked between them. "I have to say, this is the last thing I expected this weekend to start out like, and definitely not something I ever thought I'd see involving my sister."

Alex groaned and quickly adjusted her clothes before standing next to Casey. "Could you please stop making this more awkward?"

Max laughed, clearly enjoying himself. "Oh, don't worry. I'm definitely going to have fun teasing you mercilessly with this. But seriously, I'm really happy for both of you."

He winked at her, then nodded toward the kitchen. "How about I give you two a few minutes to, uh, get yourselves together, and I'll whip up something for dinner? You can fill me in afterwards."

Alex peeked up at him, feeling a mixture of relief and gratitude. "Really? You're not weirded out or anything?"

Max shrugged. "Not at all. Love is love, right? Besides, you look happy. That's what counts."

Alex felt the last bit of her anxiety melt away. "Thanks, Max. That means a lot."

Her heart swelled with affection for her brother and she wondered why she'd been so afraid to come out to him in the first place. With a grateful smile, she leaned into Casey's shoulder and watched as Max walked back into the kitchen.

Casey leaned in and whispered with a grin, "I like your brother."

Alex chuckled, feeling lighter than she had in weeks. "Yeah, me too."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever Liveblog

Movie opens with the Purple Dragons doing a robbery of some sort. Hun, what are you up to?

I really, really love the little sequence that introduces the 2003 turtles. The animation is so slick and cool-looking.

Also, it's kind of interesting how the 2003 segments are animated in a (more detailed) version of the Back to the Sewer style, with Splinter, Casey, and April maintaining their BttS designs? But the turtles themselves look more like how they did during Fast Forward (it's because we're back to having white slits for the eyes, thank god.)

Seriously, if Back to the Sewer had looked more like this, it probably wouldn't be the only 2003 art style I do dislike to an extent.

We were only just properly introduced to the 1987 turtles and I'm already understanding why people abhor how they were characterized for this movie (I say this as someone who has literally only seen two episodes of the 1987 series. Specifically, the very first one and the Mona Lisa episode.)

Hun is gonna regret taking that mutagen BIG TIME.

03!Mikey likes the initialed belt buckles.

Underrated animation detail: the 1987 turtles are animated using a simple one-color shading approach while the 2003 turtles are animated with more detailed two color shading.

87!Raphael's reaction to meeting 03!Splinter is adorable.

I'm glad that 03!Mikey is enjoying the company of the 87 turtles, at least.

I know a major sore spot for this movie is the fact that the original 1987 actors couldn't reprise their roles due to circumstances out of anyone's control, but I am loving 87!Shredder's voice.

03!Raphael getting mad at 87!Donatello for kill stealing is making me laugh more than it should

I hate to break it to you, Krang, but 03!Shredder and 03!Krang are one and the same.

87!Shredder being disappointed that 03!Shredder is an Utrom is hilarious knowing that the little red blob is actually an intergalactic terrorist who has literally killed billions of people over the last several centuries.

All it took to wake up Ch'rell was 87!Shredder referring to himself as, well, the Shredder. Nice to see being frozen in a block of ice didn't get rid of his ego.

Other things from Back to the Sewer I do like: The Hauler. It's a massive improvement design-wise over the moving van from Seasons 4/5 that served as the second Battle Shell.

Poor, poor, foolish 87!Shredder and Krang. If there's anything I've learned watching the 2003 series, it's that you can't keep Oroku Saki/The Shredder/Ch'rell down forever.

KARAI IS HERE, BABY

Honestly, I do like Karai's outfit from Back to the Sewer. If she had her original haircut and was depicted in a different art style (you know, one that doesn't make her look like stick), I'd actually say I'm quite fond of her overall design. (I have a similar attitude towards BttS!Casey, too.)

Other aspects of Back to the Sewer I appreciate that show up in Turtles Forever: The 03 Turtles directly addressing Splinter as "Father" rather than "Master."

Damn, Hun must feel humiliated bowing down to the Shredder and calling him "Master" again. (Not like he has a choice. Are the Purple Dragons even going to listen to him anymore?)

Damn, this is the third time that the 2003 Turtles have had their home destroyed ;A; They're so used to it at this point that they don't even react in anguish this time.

Oh boy, even Mikey is finally sick of the antics of the 87 turtles (though in his defense, they did kinda teleport out of their lair when Splinter was in trouble and all four 03 turtles are worried sick for their dad.)

They deliberately had 87!April getting kidnapped by the mutant banana after the turtles left to make her seem more helpless when compared to the 03 version, didn't they?

Hun isn't wrong that as long as they have Splinter, the turtles will come running. These boys would do anything to protect/save their father.

Turtles Forever is a lot more... destructive than I was expecting. (2003 dimension is straight up getting TRASHED.)

Okay, that bit where Leo pointed out that at least Raph isn't stuck riding on the blimp like Mikey is got me to laugh.

2003 turtles are slowly but surely warming up to the 87 turtles. This is development I like to see.

"If there is one constant in the multiverse, it is the predictability of you turtles! Threaten something you hold dear, and you will ignore your better instincts!" You didn't have to call them out like that, Ch'rell.

Adopted Au Headcannons for R!Leo

So this is very heavily based off of the Adopted Mikey Au and the Adopted Donnie Au done by @tblsomedoodles so if you don't know the basics that would be a great place to start. (They also gave me permission to write these headcannons to thank you again!!!!).

Basically, I was at work, and absently thinking about their Adopted Aus, and thought, "who would adopt R!Leo (otherwise listed as Blue) if he went missing in another dimension?" And first some reason the first person that popped into my head was 2012 Donatello, so this is that train wreck.

Keep in mind that Blue is, like, 3-4 yr. old in this au, and happened to get sent to the 2012 universe after being attacked in the sewers of his own dimension and doesn't go back to his home dimension until right before the Rise show starts.

Purple is R!Leo's comfort color (since it reminds him of his twin) so I can see Donnie being the first person he would latch onto.

-It helps that the reason Blue is in this universe would be a highly coincidentally timed portal on 2012 Donnie's end that transported both Leo and the mutant attacking him to the sewers nearby

Donnie goes to investigate the energy surge that happened during the fight and finds Blue, saving him from either the mutant that had been attacking him prior to the portal or the krang who might have been the reason for the portal in the first place, haven't decided yet. Donnie takes him home to patch him up, and gets imprinted on by a very lost, confused, and scared Blue who just wants his twin but hey this stranger is wearing Purple's colors so he must nice, right?

Blue obviously gets most of his sense of humor and energy from Uncle Mikey. They love to skateboard together and play pranks, usually involving a lot of messes to clean up. Both get into food competitions, where whoever can throw together the weirdest food combination and eat it without throwing up wins (Donnie always gets upset when they do that though, worried about Blue's health).

Uncle Raph is probably (read definitely) the most protective of the uncles, and even though he isn't the sensei, he still helps teach Blue how to fight. He'll introduce him to Chompy and show him to use the pinball machine, and if anyone accused Raph of going soft he'd slap their head then go get Blue for their scheduled nap (because Blue will only sleep if someone else is there). Blue likes that Raph is so big, because it reminds him of Red (even if Raph is bigger than he remembers Red being), and naps with him are the best (but he'll never tell his dad that). If I do include the fact that Blue gets plushies that remind him of his brothers like @tblsomedoodles did in their au, they were made/knitted by Raph (once again, something he'll never admit, he just claims he found them randomly)

Uncle Leo, of course, is the sensei, but they still interact outside of training. Out of all the uncles, Blue probably looks up to Leo the most, resulting in another "Splinter Junior" situation, but between Leos, and less copy but no less "hero worship." Leo is like the Jupiter Jim or Captain Ryan of Blue's childhood. Leo will introduce Blue to Space Heroes, and the two will spend hours basically fan-boying over the show.

Obviously Blue is closest with his self-assigned dad, Donnie. Donnie is the reason that Blue gets so interested in medical practices and chemistry, and Donnie has a lot of practice (cough Mikey) with grabby hands in the lab, so he knows how to keep an eye on Blue while still working in a way that lets Blue stay in the lab during the day if he wants to. Blue thinks his dad is the coolest guy ever, being able to make whatever he wants (He built such a cool car! and Metalhead was awesome!) and fixing anything that breaks (like his toys). He learns sarcasm by watching his dad talk with Uncle Casey, and boy was that something that Donnie will always regret (second only to the fact that Casey also seemed to be trying to teach Blue how to flirt). (side note: this would be in a universe that did not emphasize a lot of romance. While all of that drama still happened when they were teenagers, the only couple that I MIGHT have as canon in the Au would be Raph/Mona, because it was the only ship that didn't have some kind of problematic background). When Blue decides that his dad hasn't slept enough, he'll go and sit on his lap, and just start to fall asleep. In an effort to make him comfortable, Donnie will try to move him to the bed, and when he tries to go back to work, Blue will latch onto his arm and refuse to let go, forcing him to stay "just until Blue falls asleep." Leo walks in ten minutes later to the father-son duo practically dead to the world on the bed. On the other hand, if Donnie doesn't want to be disturbed by anyone, Blue will make it his personal mission to keep the uncles out of the lab.

It's unclear when exactly Donnie became Blue's "dad," it just happened one day with Blue walking into the room, half-asleep, and asking his dad (by his now new title) if he had seen his blanket/plushies. Donnie, understandably, freaks out internally (and later externally) but can't deny that something in him was both happy and sad: happy because he had grown attached to the little tot; sad because he knew that a time would come when he would have to send him back home (dealing with alternates has left Donnie with the very real realization that this is probably a another little Leo, especially after hearing Blue talk about his brothers). Among the infinite possibilities of universes, though, that would take some time, so maybe it would be ok for the kid to call him that? He'd ask for advice from his brothers and April, and all of them, while equally cautious, would encourage him to let it happen because dangit they're attached too (although Leo would be the most hesitant, with his sense of responsibility).

I'd like to think that Blue learned Spanish by watching tv with April and Casey. Sure, he watches tv with his uncles too, but I can't see them watching anything that might have Spanish in them. I'm imagining that April and Casey were babysiting and both fell asleep with the tv on (thinking Blue was asleep too). Some Spanish drama came on and little Blue fell in love with the accent, so he started trying to copy it. Donnie caught on and set up a system to teach him some of the words instead of just copying the accent (he doesn't know spanish, but there are a lot of learning programs online he can hack into). It becomes a bonding experience between little Blue and the humans, since they take it upon themselves to help him learn whenever they babysit (April being more successful in these lessons than Casey).

Blue was seen as very athletic in Rise!, so I imagine that he fairly enjoys sports. Watching Casey play hockey probably kick started it, which evolved into skateboarding, basketball, baseball, football, etc. He couldn't play all of these a lot, but skateboarding and basketball (or at least shooting hoops) were fairly simple to set up and do constantly. He likes baseball and football simply for the fact that it gives him and excuse to throw a ball and run around a lot, but he doesn't play them often and prefers the other two. His uncles help set up a basketball hoop in the lair for one of his birthdays, and all he did for the next week was shoot hoops.

He thinks April is cool. Leo may be Blue's personal hero, but April is a SUPER hero. She had powers and a cool outfit, and in Blue's mind that's all he needed to label his new favorite aunt as an honest to goodness superhero (followed later by Mikey's alter-ego Turflytle). He's always following her around when she visits the lair and trying to get her to make him "fly."

Instead of the lair being attacked by the mutant/yokai that tried to kidnap and eat Blue, I imagine that the event that triggers Blue's return to his original world involving the Krang. The Krang attacked the lair or there was an attack outside somewhere that Blue snuck out and got stuck in, but a Krang would attempt to drag Blue through the portal to use as bait or leverage, and Blue's ninpo messed with the portal and sent him home (without the Krang for some reason, idk its fanfiction so fanon magic). He returns to the same place where he disappeared in his world, not that he remembers that that is where he left, and instead of Tello or Angie finding him, it would be Raphie (because I'm trying not to be too similar to the original Adopted AU, no more than I already am). The rest of the Rise show continues as normal.

Maybe if I get more inspiration I'll do some headcannons for when R!Leo reconnects with his family in the 12 dimension, but for now this is all I can think of.

Okay, random thoughts about ROTTMNT regarding a "what if" scenario:

I saw this post and it got me thinking about what if the last back up plan of all back up plans for the bad future timeline in the Rise movie was supposed to be Both F!Leo AND Casey Jr. going back to the past to stop the Krang?

(Really really (that's two reallys) long talk about my thoughts on this under the cut)

Like, they both go back and it roughly follows the same timeline as the movie but so much would still be different just because f!Leo is there too with CJ. Which would be nice for CJ specifically because then he wouldn't be alone after the events of the movie and f!Leo and CJ would have someone that could talk to from the bad future, but I just can't stop thinking about how everyone would react and how differently conversations would go during the events of the movie specifically. There is just so much that could happen and it could go more into depth on how CJ feels about the events and how f!Leo would react as well. And every time Mikey tries using his mystic mojo, f!Leo and CJ's hearts break just a little and that also happens every time any one of them does something that their future selves would do in the bad future. (I wish we got more into CJ's character and how he was feeling during/after the events of the movie and I'm so glad that there are so many writers and artists who have dove into his character, thank you guys)

Just imagine f!Leo seeing his younger self come back from the initial attack on the Foot where he's panicking and Raph isn't back yet and f!Leo just gets a flash back to when he lost his Raph. And then past Leo would still go after CJ (and possibly f!Leo too) about how they knew this would happen and then both Splinter and f!Leo try to talk to p!Leo (or maybe it could go a different way, there's just so many possibilities). And then from that point on, f!Leo sees what p!Leo is doing and deciding as the leader and f!Leo is simultaneously irritated that his past self is being reckless and not listening to anyone's input but also realizing that he is a 16 year old kid and that he was too when the invasion first began in the bad future. (I personally don't think f!Leo would hate his past self if he ever went back in time and that he wouldn't act hostile towards his past self, there'd just be a lot of feelings that he never got to really acknowledge during the apocalypse and a lot of realizations and thoughts occurring that he also wouldn't be able to properly address until after the invasion is stopped. Plus, both Leos I feel like have a lot of self hatred but I don't think f!Leo would take out his hatred on his past self).

Then when the bros are going to the turtle tank, f!Leo either stays with Splinter and April while the bros and CJ go to where Raph is or f!Leo goes with the bros and CJ. If he goes to help find Raph, they'll all still get separated in the subway system but it would still be p!Leo and CJ and the PB&J duo + f!Leo and after that, the final fight would happen. How? Idk lmao, but it would still lead to p!Leo alone to fight Krang Prime and his self sacrifice. And it makes me wonder how f!Leo would react to his past self's decisions, knowing what he was getting himself into? Knowing he would have done the same? Understanding how CJ felt every time he made a similar decision in the bad timeline and barely made it out alive? Knowing exactly how p!Leo feels but also knowing exactly how everyone else feels when losing someone close? The dread of knowing that they're gone but not wanting to accept it? Thinking about how he is going to be the last of their family to die from the bad timeline but the first in this one? Then once a few minutes pass, Raph uses his comm to reach them.

And he tells them to get to Staten Island asap, his voice urgent and filled with worry, but not grief. Questions are asked and eventually Raph says that p!Leo is alive, awake (barely), but severely injured and needs medical attention like now. Then one of the four (either Splinter, April, CJ, or f!Leo) ask Raph how p!Leo isn't in the Prison Dimension anymore and he answers by stating Mikey made a portal with his mystic mojo and CJ and f!Leo's hearts stop. Because they think that Mikey died making that portal just like their bad timeline Mikey did.

So, the four of them head to Staten Island as fast as they can and CJ and f!Leo are confused but relieved to see that Mikey is okay and not dead (but they take note of the markings on Mikey's hands, Donnie's right hand, and Raph's left hand). Then, they see Leo's extremely broken body, they make their way home, and they ALL start their healing processes. How all of that may occur can go in many different ways and I'm down for any of them.

I'm sure others in the Rise fandom have also thought of f!Leo going with CJ to the past to "find the key and stop the Krang" but I just had that thought occur and I had to just talk about what that could entail and all my thoughts about it. Because there are a lot of works where f!Leo goes back in time but I don't think I've seen one where he goes back in time with CJ in order to stop the Krang and is there for the events of the movie. If any of you do know of something like that, would you mind sharing it? I'd love to see it.

Casey: Yeah!

Mikey: Have you tried it?

Casey: Yes!
