I really like the idea of 37 being a self-centered, insensitive person that only has her own self interest and thoughts as priority with a hint of a god complex. Like many in the arcanist roster, it'd be nice to have more three dimensional characters with their personality not being fully "appealing" you could say.

Given the environment she grew up in after the loss of her mother, people truly did turn to her prowess like a messiah. While she's confident and clearly proud of her capabilities, easily filling the role needed, she's naive and childish, lacking in the "worldly knowledge of matters" and mainly focuses on her work and what she believes is important; numbers and things that can involve herself.

Doesn't help she's raised in a cultish community where her expertise in math is near invaluable, she's a prime number, and the only one that ever tried to see if she'd want to seek things beyond her realms of opinion is her childhood friend who immediately set that thought to the wayside to support 37's greater and more "divine" purpose of sorts.

Read a lot of the Vertin and Sonetto parallels between the two, but Sophia and 37 feels like a more terrible outcome version of the two in the sense that they've been confined too much into their roles and left no room for massive improvements. They're changing, but like their isolation in the island, it stunts their potential to grow in leaps and bounds.

Besides, I just think it's more appealing to have a wide arrange of "morally grey" characters in the suitcase gang who aren't so in it for the betterment of the whole world and just there for their own set goals and aspirations that just so happen to help said world (which there are some and I love the game for doing that).

37's self aware in most cases of people's disdain for her character like 210. (without him acknowledging the fact it's the caste system itself that has placed them in their position and he shouldn't be so bitter about 37 being born into her role like everyone in Apeiron) and I like how she could care less about people's opinions of others to the point she flat out ignores people's opinion over her own entirely. As well as the fact she's slowly learning to start caring about what people say. The baby step growth is what I like to see in these wild mix of complex characters.

I know the fandom will live and hopefully keep going on. But with so many things canceled... it sucks. I swear if Netflix says that it hasn't done well, I will fight because this show is amazing! I really wanted to read the third novelization, and I was so excited about it. Randomly canceling the panel sucks as well. The producers are working so hard and have made an amazing stellar show. Please, please, PLEASE, let it continue. Let us keep going!
