we've only had our new washing machine for four days and I've already done laundry more times than in the past two years combined 🙃
#in the place we lived first the washing machines were in a shared room in the basement#which meant 1. carrying the laundry down three floors and 2. other people (especially the very mean old woman who lived there)#so my husband always did it there#then we moved. but our washing machine got damaged during the move so it started always giving error messages accompanied by the loudest#most horrible beeping#and you had to keep pressing a button to get them to stop#but I found the noise so distressing that again. my husband had to do laundry all the time#but now? oooh I love this stupid washing machine!! the only thing that's stopping me from washing every dirty fabric thing I see is that we#don't have enough drying racks/it's not warm enough for everything to dry that quickly#personal

How To Wash Your Binder: The Quick And Easy Way
You’ve probably been taught at some point in your life to wash your clothes by hand. But have you ever considered how to wash a binder? If not, now is the time to learn. In this blog post, we will show you how to clean and dry a binder the easy way, without any harsh chemicals or scrubbing. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to keep your binder looking and feeling its best for years to come.
How To Wash Your Binder
If you're like most students, your binders are constantly filled with notes, graded papers, and other school materials. But don't worry—Washing a binder is easy if you follow these simple steps: 1. Remove all the contents of the binder, including any loose paper. 2. Place the binder in a large enough container to fit all of the pages comfortably. 3. Fill up the container with warm water and add a mild soap such as dishwashing liquid or hand soap. 4. Swish the binder around in the water for about 15 minutes to soak everything up. 5. Drain the water and place the binder on a drying rack or cloth towel to dry completely.
Tips For Keeping Your Binder Clean
When it comes to keeping your binders clean, there are a few simple tips you can follow. First, make sure to keep them stored in a clean and organized place. Secondly, periodically wash them with soap and water. And finally, use a binder pad to avoid sticking and smudging. Here are a few more helpful tips: Tip #1: Keep Your Binders Organized Keeping your binders organized will help you keep them clean and tidy. When you have a system for storing them, it will be easier to find what you're looking for and you'll be able to avoid messy piles of books on your desk. Consider using filing cabinets or racks for your binders, or try using a binder organizer that comes with pockets for each subject area. Tip #2: Wash Them Occasionally Regularly washing your binders will help get rid of any dirt, dust, or other particles that may have accumulated over time. Simply fill a sink with warm water and add some soap before soaking your binders for a few minutes. Be sure to shake them off before letting them dry completely. Tip #3: Use A Pad When Sticking And Smudging If you tend to stick or smudge your pages often when working with your binders, consider using a binder pad instead. These pads come in various sizes and styles, so finding the right one should be easy. Just place the pad over the spine of the book
Conclusion
Washing your binder is an important part of keeping it looking and feeling great. In this article, we will show you how to wash your binder quickly and easily so that it stays in good condition. Be sure to read through the instructions before beginning so that you know what to do and avoid any mistakes that could ruin your binder!

Very open ended! I will write some stuff, hopefully its helpful, if you have specific questions, please ask!
Making good food is mostly learning from experience, and trying not to mess up so badly that something is inedible in the meantime.
I've been cooking for a long time but only really learned some of this stuff in the past 2 years bc when you're going off a recipe you don't always internalize the reasons it wants you to do something. A lot of stuff that's probably common knowledge doesn't really get passed down bc its built through habit.
Cooking and baking are very different bc in baking if you mess up the ratios it will not come out right. Cooking however, does not have this problem!
A smidge= however much you like.
Which means start with a small amount and if you think it tastes bad, either add more or less next time. Dont be afraid to sprinkle some seasoning onto your hand and taste it. Decide which ones taste good together and which don't. If you look at multiple recipes you can usually see some patterns in which seasonings are paired with what style of dishes.
1: what to make?
So like a suprisingly about of meals are just protein + carb + vegetable. Like a guarantee, if you scroll through any recipe website, that will be the majority of what you see. Without direction, we focus on that.
So pick a protein aka meat or meat substitute (if you're vegetarian sorry not really my area of expertise)
Pick a carb: bread, noodles, potatoes
Pick a vegetable
AND pick a jar.
A jar you ask? Well, seasonings are complicated and I'm lazy. I cheat here. I don't do well with the whole 53728 spices in the spice rack and knowing what to use when.
What I do, is I did a quick search for flavor profiles I like, for example italian food, I find a recipe for Italian seasoning mixes. Then I put that seasoning mix in a small jar. Whenever I have italian food, I scoop some seasoning from the jar and onto my food whenever I categorize a meal as Italian.
This can be repeated for as many flavor profiles as you like.
Then to spice up the meal all you have to do is choose which jar.
2: how are you cooking?
Oven? Pan on stove? Boiling everything? Soup? Shoving it all in the rice cooker?(great when you have rice)
Same principles for all but how you cook it will effect the end result greatly. I personally hate oven roasted food. I think its dry and gross and it sometimes leaves little bits of char on my food and I hate it. (Except bacon, bacon is best roasted in my opinion)
Boiled vegetables tend to have a reputation for being soggy and bland but I love them.
Tossing them into a pan with butter=buttery food
Learn what you prefer and you'll enjoy your own cooking better.
3: oil
Use👏 oil👏 or👏 butter👏 or 👏something! Heat it in the pan for just long enough to melt the butter/for the pan to feel warm when you hold your hand above it. Then add your meat/veggies, this makes a difference I promise!
(Note: this does not apply to bacon)
4: onion and garlic
Dont understemated the power of onions when it comes to giving flavor. I made this mistake for over a year. Cook an onion with whatever your making. I cook a lot of onion over the weekend and put it in the fridge to quickly add a spoonful or 4 of onion to whatever meal I'm making.
Same with garlic. And to be clear, i mean cloves of garlic, not garlic powder or the canned garlic preserve. I thought I didn't like garlic for like all of my childhood bc my mom bought the garlic in a refrigeratable jar and just added spoonfuls. These are not the same as fresh garlic.
5:salt
Salt while cooking. While whatever it is is still raw idealy. (Do NOT salt bacon)
Just sprinkle some over like you do when you salt your already cooked food. You can always add more later, and removing salt is not usually possible. You will get the feel for this as time goes on.
(Fun fact, you will crave more salt when its hot out, keep weather in mind)
6: Add jar seasonings to food. Start with a small amount, scale up if it needs more. Or just go nuts with it? Spilled a jar once, all over my chicken. It was good, decided I needed to add more in the future. Idk, this is the big smidge zone. You gotta decide how much you like. Take notes if it helps.
SAUCES
Ngl I'm still working out a system for these but sometimes the only difference between 537 recipes on the recipe website is what sause they used. This is what elevates the boring meals of meat noodle veggies, into great meals. My brief time using hellofresh taught me that I could do all of it better myself if I just learned how to make sauses.
Most of these can be as simple as getting some chicken stock concentrate and a strong herb (like dill or rosemary or whatever you like I guess?) into the pan you used for your meat with a little sour cream and a splash of water to keep stuff from burning. Once melted and warm: sauce
Store bought sauses, too! Just today, pork rice and grean beans became teriyaki pork rice and beans just by dumping some sause on and mixing it up. I just cooked all that by throwing it all in the rice maker with some butter salt and garlic. Cost like 1 spoon when it could've been 6.
Anyway its almost 11pm here and I need to sleep so! Night!
Not op of that post, but tell me what you want to cook Scar, I will help best I can through the screen
Okay. I've got a kitchen. I've got ingredients. (We're missing rice) There is a pan and a stove.
What tf do I do.
#seriously hope this helps#theres a good chance you already know a lot of it#spirits of your ancestors is actually fucking around and finding out#if you didn't do this under your parents supervision unfortunately the steps remain the same as an adult#for realzies feel free to ask questions#everyone deserves good food

happy birthday — tsukishima kei
pairing | tsukishima kei x reader
genre | fluff
w.c | 1.6k
↪ part two of this
second chance // an opportunity to try something again after failing one time
tsukishima kei wasn't expecting anyone. sure, it was his birthday, but he did have work the next day, and wasn't very keen on drinking himself senseless into the witching hour.
since yamaguchi, his mother, and akiteru had taken it upon themselves to inform half of japan of his birthdate, kei had just spent the past four hours repeating 'thank you' to people ranging from his junior high schoolmates and strangers he had never met. he was certain that 99% of the players involved with the japan volleyball league had shown up, much to the amazement of his museum colleagues.
the bell rings for the third time, and kei is suddenly hyperaware of how annoying the sound is. he had just sat down, for goodness's sake— was it too much to ask for one minute of rest?
with his socializing energy at an all-time-low, kei nearly tears the door off his hinges, greeting his unwelcome visitor with a fierce snarl. "what do you want—" the words clamp down on his throat, breaking his airflow for a whole five seconds as he stares, utterly floored. "... y/n?"
"...hey?" you look sheepish, holding a small, one-cake-slice-sized box in your hand. he's known you long enough to know that you did your makeup on the fly— the tremble of your eyeliner is a sure giveaway. "... uh... is this a bad time? cause i can come back later—"
"no!" he blurts, hands slamming onto the door frame. he hadn't caught a glimpse of you in six months, ever since that fateful night when you walked out through the same door you were now standing in front of. there wasn't a single night in those six, grueling months that he didn't think about you, or the warm feeling of having you contained within his arms. sure, there were nights when you two fought, heading to bed with your backs faced to each other— but when morning came, you would somehow be in his arms, and somehow kei just knew that things would blow over.
except maybe they didn't.
left with too much time to think, he analyzed every little argument the two of you ever had, critically examining every word he uttered. perhaps the break was needed— the two of you needed to take a step backwards, re-assessing what you two wanted for each other, what you two wanted together. what you said that night hadn't be wrong— there were just too many issues being swept under the rug, too many things you weren't communicating about, too many problems he elected to ignore, in hopes that they would just 'blow over'.
"i mean," he clears his throat, lifting his hand off the doorframe, groaning at the paint scratch he caused. "would... would you like to come in?"
mentally, he smacks his forehead. you don't need permission to enter! in his mind, kei still considers the apartment your home, too. even if you haven't stepped foot within its grounds for half a year.
"if that's okay?" you smile softly, holding up your cake box. "you've probably had some already, but i bought your favorite. if you're full, you could have it tomorrow morning, before work?"
"no, no, i'm not that full." kei instantly assures, even though he's already brushed his teeth. on normal circumstances, he would leave it for the next morning, but what was brushing his teeth one more time if he got to talk to you for the first time in over a hundred-eighty days?
you narrow your eyes at him playfully. "don't lie to me, tsukishima kei. i can smell your toothpaste. i'll leave it in the fridge."
a fond smirk dances over his lips as you brush past him into your apartment, leaving your shoes where you always do on the shoe rack. the sound of your sock-clad feet padding past the living room brings a truckload of tension that kei didn't know he had off his shoulders, and all of a sudden, the house feels a thousand times cozier, even if nothing materialistic has changed.
he watches you from the sofa as you bustle around the kitchen, and he knows by the number of beeps on the electric stove that you're boiling water for tea— green, probably. the ration of tea packets are restocked regularly, because when you moved in, you brought your tea addiction with you, too. kei's been lured into drinking it on a daily basis, right after dinner, as a way of calming himself down after a day of work and practice. typically, tea would be accompanied with you, snuggled up against his side as he complained about the kids he met at work that day (you both knew that he had a secret fondness for them, but shhh).
"i hope you don't mind. i made tea." you say, bringing the glass teapot you were adamant on buying a year ago. it was one of the best purchases kei ever made in the apartment, because he was reminded of the worth every single time the two of you did your regular tea routine.
"of course i don't mind." he replies instantly, picking up his mug (the green one with tiny dinos on the edge). "this is still your home, too. you don't have to ask to do anything."
he pretends not to see the flash of surprise across your features.
"right." you murmur, pressing your mug onto your lips, blowing gently on the surface.
the two of you sit in silence for a while, sipping on your tea as the clock ticks onto eleven o' clock. suppressing the urge to ask you to stay, kei taps the surface of his porcelain cup rhythmically, forgetting that you know all his tells, front to back.
"is there something on your mind?" you ask gently, setting your mug down. he grimaces.
"ah... it's nothing." kei brushes off, not wanting to come onto you too quickly. for all he knew, you were just here to deliver the cake, not to reignite whatever was left of the relation he let simmer for too long...
"... right." the tone of your voice spells i-know-you're-lying-to-me,-but-i'll-let-it-go-for-now.
the silence continues, like a set prolonged. it's starting to get on kei's nerves when you (thankfully) speak again.
"happy birthday."
"thank you." even though he's said those words a thousand times that night, it sounds a comparatively much less robotic than it had for the previous thousand times. perhaps it was thousand-first time's the charm. "i mean it. thank you for coming over."
you wave it off. "i couldn't have not come. tadashi sent me an invite, but my boss needed me to work late and i didn't manage to make it."
ah, so that was why his best friend routinely glanced at the entrance nervously throughout the night. that explained a lot.
"i don't mind." kei takes a sip of his green tea, enjoying the warmth that courses through his chest. it isn't warmer than the warmth you give him, though. "i like it like this. ... just the two of us, i mean."
you contemplate him for a moment. "i like it like this, too." you confess quietly, as if whispering a childhood secret to him behind the karasuno gym.
he couldn't bear it any longer. he's always been patient, yes, but he's seen the looks his mother and brother threw him through the night, because they both knew that the one person that really mattered wasn't there. he was pretty sure his mother was just about to introduce him to some random girl before he excused himself for the night.
"will you stay?" he blurts, feeling very un-tsukishima-kei-like. it isn't like him at all, to be brash, and bold, but how can he? for the past four hours, he's talked to countless people— heck, half of them were volleyball celebrities— but not the one he wanted to talk to.
"do you want me to?" you ask softly, shyly, and kei knows that you're thinking if he wants you back— which is stupid, honestly. he knows that you're always thinking that you're lucky to have him, when it should be the other way around. kei doesn't think there's anyone else willing to put up with his dry humor, his hectic schedule, and his dinosaur memorabilia. if anything, he should be the one thanking the gods for letting him have you.
"don't be stupid." he snaps, cringing internally at how his tone came off. "of course i want you to stay, you're the best thing that happened to me. i won't force you, but—"
"i left some clothes here, right?" you cut him off with a hum, and when kei looks into your eyes, he just knows.
there's still a long, long, long way for the two of you to go. there's still plenty of things he needs to learn. there's a pile of issues in the store room that needed to be tended to.
for every million arguments there are a billion conversations where you two need to sit down and work out the knots. for every insecurity, for every misunderstanding, for every conflict, there is a needed effort to clean up the mess properly instead of just sweeping it under the floorboards. but for every tangle there lies between the two of you, there is a universe of room to grow, and change.
kei knows he's willing to make an effort, for you. kei knows that he's willing to do anything to make sure you don't walk out that door without looking back again. kei knows he's willing to do every single thing he can do (and can't) to make it work.
he knows.
he looks into your eyes, and he smiles.
everything is going to be alright.

I Got Everything I wanted...
Episode 1: Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience...
Pairing: Vision x Male Reader
Taglist: N/A
‼️Authors Note‼️: I'm finally at a point where I can write this story. I know that It is long overdue, so I hope this can make up for it. This story is going to be breaking the 4th wall a lot since they tend to do that in the actual show. Also, please let me know in my Inbox/Askbox if you would like to be tagged every time I upload a story to this series. While reading this, you may realize that it seems rushed, and that's because it was. I wanted to put this out as soon as I possibly could. Also since you guys voted that I just divide it up into parts for you to read. I will be uploading part 2 whenever I am able to.
Summary: (Male Name) and Vision struggle to conceal their powers during dinner with Vision's boss and his wife
Time Period: 1956 (So everything in this chapter is going to be colorless and in black and white)
Word count: 4k+
Word Key:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you ever dreamed of living the life you always wanted? Have you ever dreamed of something so bad to the point where you would do anything to get it. Have you ever dreamed of something so bad to the point where all of your care for others went out the window? Have you ever dreamed of wanting something so bad to the point where you would stop anyone who gets in your way.
"(Male Name), I love you so much. Please don't do this, cant you see that everyone is hurting, that everyone is in so much pain?"
"I'm sorry Vision, but I can't. I can't loose you...not again. I never meant for things to be this way, but now I can't go back. Not without you"
---REWIND MANY EPISODES BACK---
For a second, everything is black. The TV clicks on and a burst of grey static illuminates the screen. Everything is black and white, not a single drop of color is in the area. A happily little tune starts playing as a colorless 1956 Buick Special drives up a tiny hill and back down past a sign which says 'Speed Limit 35'. The camera angle changes to the back of the car, showing a banner above the license plate, 'Just Married'. Next, the camera cuts to us, (Male Name) and Vision, newlywed husbands.
It finally happened, we finally got married! Both of us turn take a quick look and smile at each other with nothing but love and glee, it seemed like nothing could go wrong in this moment.
🎵Oh~
A newlywed couple just moved into town,
A regular husband and husband,🎵
Vision turns his head back to the road and continues driving until we turn down a happy little neighborhood. Each house on the street has a pattern of different color greys with black roofs, their yards decorated with equally bland colorless flowers and grass. Children playing outside, and adults chatting with one another while they tend to their gardens, or while walking their dogs. Everyone is just so cheery and happy, even the mailman waves at us as we pass him. Everything is exactly the way it's supposed to be, perfect.
🎵Who left the big city,
To find a quiet life,
(Male Name)Vision!🎵
Vision drives into the driveway of our new home. We quickly hop out of the car and approach the house, but before we walk in I take notice of the 'For Sale' sign still in the yard. I quickly flick my hand and use my magic to change the sign to 'Sold'. After that I dust my hands off with a proud smile on my face as Vision scoops me in his arms bridal style, opens the front door, and carries me inside. I flick my wrist again and the front door closes and locks as we both move to the Livingroom of our already decorated 2 story home.
🎵He's a magical boy,
In a small town locale
And a hubby who's part machine,
How will this duo fit in and pull through?🎵
Once Vision puts me back on my feet, we start swaying with the jingle playing in the background while title cards pop up of written words that I don't care to read right now since I'm too busy enjoying this happy moment with my new husband. Vision then gives me a little twirl before wrapping his arms around my waist as we both dip into a loving heartfelt kiss.
🎵Oh, by sharing a love,
Like you've never seen
(Male Name)Vision!🎵
---SCENE CHANGE---
The scene suddenly changes as the lights flick on and cameras start rolling. You start the scene off by walking into the kitchen and start making your way to one of the grey drawers next to the oven and you grab one of your favorite aprons. Humming a little tune, you wrap the white cloth around your waist and start observing the kitchen to see what needs to be picked up or cleaned. Deciding to work on putting up the dishes, you raise your hand and the newly cleaned plates start levitating off of the counters and float off to the display racks, you then raise your other hand and a dark colored dish cloth floats out of the cabinet and it begins drying a glass cup. You then turn your back to the cup to observe if it had been cleaned good enough, suddenly you jump as a loud crash echoes through out the kitchen. Turn to see what the problem is, you only to find Vision looking up from today's news paper and glances at the shattered plate at the ground while a laughing crown erupts out of nowhere.
"My husband and his flying saucers" He says in his thick English accent (or is it British🤔), with a joking tone.
"My husband and his indestructible head" I reply back in the same tone as another laugh erupts from the crowd.
He then folds his newspaper and walked over to your direction, giving you a kiss on the cheek when he arrived, causing you to chuckle while twirling your finger, making the plate form back to it's original round shape before it floats off to it's designated spot.
"Vision, honey, what do you say to silver dollar pancakes, crispy hash browns, bacon, eggs, freshly squeezed orang juice and black coffee?" You say while walking over to the refrigerator, opening it and bending down, getting ready to grab out everything needed to make the meal for him.
"I'd say 'Oh, I don't eat food' " He says smiling at me, while the crown laughs again.
You look inside the fridge and hum to yourself in surprise while putting all the pieces together in your head before saying "Well, that explains the empty refrigerator then"
"(Male Name), my darling. Is there something special about today?"
"Well, I know the apron is a bit much dear, but I'm doing my best to blend in and have the 'Perfect House Husband' look." You say walking to meet him, assuming he's talking about the apron.
"No no, you don't have to try, you already are the perfect house husband." He says as he lightly grabs your chin with his pointer finger and thumb and lightly giving you a 'boop' on the nose. "But I was referring to the calendar. Someone's drawn a heart right above today's date." You then looked at him as you cluelessly try to figure out what he's talking about, so he puts his hands on your shoulders and turns you around to face the calendar behind you and he rests his chin on your head as you both look at the heart.
Trying to act like you know what day it is, you say "Well...d..dont tell me you've forgotten Vis?"
"Oh silly (y/n), I'm incapable of forgetfulness. I remember everything. That's not an exaggeration. In fact, I'm even incapable of exaggeration" He rambles boastfully.
"Hmm, well then if that's true, then maybe you can tell me what's so important about today's date"
He pauses for a second and thinks before he blows a slow puff of air out of his mouth, then deciding on saying "Uhhh...what was the question again? Oh well, no matter, perhaps you've forgotten yourself"
"Me? Heavens, no, haha. I've been so looking forward to it."
You both have actually been looking forward to day. Today you are celebrating...The first time you...uhhh...have ever celebrated this occasion before. It's a special day indeed, perhaps an evening?...of great significance?...to you both, naturally.. obviously...exactly! Well done for the both of you.
You two ramble on for a few more minutes trying to drill the other into spilling on what was so special about today, but you two couldn't since you were both obviously unknowing about it, then Vision remembered something.
"Well, sorry darling, that's me off to work, then." Vison says fixing his grey suit jacket and grabbing his suitcase walking to the front door. You quickly grab his hat hanging on the coat rack and place it on his head, fixing it to make it look straight.
"Also don't forget-"
"(Male Name), my dear how many times do I have to tell you I don't forg- oh you mean my face right?"
You nod letting him know that was what you were getting at. The audience laughs again as he quickly shakes his head and his face and hands transform from cold metal to warm flesh. Vision then puts his palm to his face and pretends to blow you a kiss, while you play along and pretend to catch it and put it over your heart.
Once he leaves out the door, you lock it a return to the kitchen, and make your way to the calendar, chewing on your polished nails (if you don't want nail polish then skip that part) as you try to remember the symbolism of the heart. Not even a second later your thoughts get interrupted as a loud knock at the door startles you back to 'reality'.
Going to go see who it is, you push the door that separates the living room and the kitchen, closer to the knocking. You quickly open the door and see a woman with a dark plaid dress and a styled black hairdo holding a grey plant in a white pot.
"Oh hello, dear. I'm Agnes, your neighbor to the right. My right, not yours" She says in a sing-song tone as she uninvitedly makes her way into the house. The eruption of cackles echo as you look at her in confusion as to why she decided to step inside, but decided to keep a calm attitude and not say anything about it.
"Forgive me for not stopping by sooner to welcome you to the block. My mother-in-law was in town...so I wasn't!" she says laughing with the audience once more as her dress sways with her movements. She rushes the potted plant into your arms and you smile and take it as she makes her way into the living room to continue her snooping. "So what's your name? Where are you from? And most importantly how's your bridge game, hon?" She says not loosing a single breath, and of course not giving you time to answer in between questions.
"Umm...Well I'm (Male Name)" You say reaching your hand out to shake hers
"(Male Name)? Charmed!" She joyfully says and returns the gesture.
"Golly, you sure do settle fast! Yes sir you did indeed! Did you use a moving company?"
"Why I sure did. Those boxes don't move themselves." The audience laughs as your inside joke, because let's be honest, the boxes did move themselves since you used your magic to decorate everything. (Damn (Male Name), you really are a powerful sum' bitch)
'"So (Male Name), what's a single boy like you doing rattling around this big house?" She says siting on the couch.
You laugh to yourself and dreamily look at the finger your ring should be on that Vision gave you to claim you as his, (He liked it so he put a ring on it.....sorry...anyways) but paused as it wasn't there. That's not right, because you could have sworn that it was there when you created this rea-
"Oh no, I'm not single I-"
"Well I don't see a ring
"Well I can promise you, I am indeed married...To a man. A human one and tall too! A a matter of fact, he'll be home later tonight for a special occasion just the two of us." You say putting emphasis on 'occasion' with a wink.
"Oh is it somebody's birthday? A holiday?" Agnes questions bouncing up and down in the couch with her legs crossed like a 'proper lady'.
"Well, no and no"
"An anniversary then?"
"Ye-uhh...yes, Its our anniversary!" You shout, finally able to remember what that heart meant.
Agnes waves you over to come sit on the couch with her and you obey, sitting down she grabs and rests both sets of you two's clasped hands on your apron.
"Sooo...tell me, how many years" She asks letting out a little squeal.
"Well..uhhh..it...it uh feels like we've always been together"
"You lucky man-" She shakes her head remembering about her own husband "-the only way Ralph would remember our anniversary is if there was a beer names June 2nd." She chuckles as the audience laughs from nowhere again. "So what do you have planned?"
"How do you mean?" You questioned her. I mean you never really did have time to come up with anything since you just realized, or assumed, what today was.
"For your special night, (Male Name)! A young boy like yourself doesn't have to do much, but it's still fun to set the scene. Say-" she says standing up to slowly make her way to the door "-I was just reading a crackerjack magazine article called 'How To Treat Your Husband To Keep Your Husband', and let me tell you somethin'...what Ralph could really use is, 'How to Goose Your Wife So You Don't Loose Your Your Wife'. She kidd's as her and the audience laugh. You look at her and shake your head trying to hold back your own laughter. "Hang on, I'll go grab it and we can start planning. Oh, this is gonna be a gas!" She shouts running to the door so she can leave and run to her house.
-----Time Skip---
Both Agnes and you are back on the couch, looking through her magazines trying to find ideas for the anniversary dinner you planned for you and Vision to share, when out of nowhere, the phone started ringing interrupting you two. You got up and rushed over to it hoping you don't miss the unknown caller, you pick it up and put it to your ear and then start talking.
"Vision residence how may I help you"
"(Male Name), darling I-"
"Vision, my dearest husband. How are you sweetheart?" You say cutting him off from his obviously panicked and frantic voice. I mean come on, you are just excited to hear your husband's voice after a hours of him being gone.
"Listen about tonight-"
You cut him off again, already knowing that he was going to talk about the anniversary. "Don't worry, dear, I have everything under complete control"
"Oh, well, that is a relief. I must confess, I'm really rather nervous" He says over the phone.
"Nervous? Whatever for?" You question.
"Well, you know, darling, I still get a little tongue-tied."
The audience coo's and aww's at how a dust of grey creeps up on your (dark grey/grey) cheeks. "Vis, after all this time..." you giggle out.
"There's a lot riding on this (Male Name)! If tonight doesn't go just so, I think this could be the end.
'Wait what' you think to yourself
"Well, it's just one night. There's no need to get dramatic." You say in a worried tone as you grasp your now queasy stomach.
Vision's tone begins to get more serious as the conversation continues in his attempt to express how important this is to you. "Look, I think the best course of action is to impress the wife."
"Well, first, I think you mean husband. And secondly I also think the best course of action is to impress the other husband too." You look over and give Agnes a thumbs up and a wink in her direction, and she does the same while sipping her martini.
"Glad to know we're both on the same page, love. Until tonight, then, my sweet little husband" Vision says making two smooching noises through the phone to you.
"Until tonight...my robotic husband" You return, whispering the last part so Agnes doesn't hear you. She couldn't hear you anyways, being too busy sipping her drink and flipping through the pages. You finally gently put the phone on the hook and return to the couch.
---Time Skip, Later Tonight---
Before Vision made it home, you set the big dining table that was next to the living room and tossed colorless silk scarfs on all of the laps in the room to set the mood and made your way to the bedroom to get dressed to surprise him for when he gets home. When you heard the door open and heard his voice, you tip toed your way out of the bedroom and into the living room, dressed a long fluffy white lingerie robe with white fur that wrapped around the arms of it which was trailing behind you, exposing both of your (dark grey/grey) legs. You then went all the way to Vision's black silhouette and gently wrapped your hands around his eyes, causing him to jump form the sudden contact.
The audience laughed again as they know your mistake. 'Where the hell is that laughing coming from, and whey is it happening right now of all times?' you thought to yourself in confusion.
"Guess who~" you seductively whispered to your husbands.
Suddenly the lights turn on and you hear Vision's voice that was filled with a mix of shock, embarrassment, and irritation at your recklessness. "(MALE NAME) WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"
You gasp and look in his direction. "Vision? What are you-" then it hit's you, if Vision is right there, then who's-
"Oh! Oh my stars, I'm so sorry!" You say to the man you mistook for your husband. You quickly uncover his eyes and stumble away from him as he stares at you in shock. Then you look down at your attire and try to cover your exposed leg as much as possible.
"What is the meaning of this!" The bald headed mad says appalled, as his wife stands behind him looking around cluelessly.
Vision interrupts with his stammering voice just as confused as everyone else. "Well..uh yeah (Male Name) what is the meaning of-" Suddenly it hits him and he tries to comes up with an excuse off the top of his head. "-Oh, the meaning of it! You want to know the meaning of it...and...the meaning of it is...that this is the tradition of (Random Foreign Country/Continent) greeting of hospitality. Uhh...guess who???" Vision says as he runs behind you and overs your eyes.
"Oh is that my host being me?" You say playing along.
"It certainly is, darling. Lovely to make your acquaintance" Vision says vigorously shaking your hand. "See i forgot to tell you my husband is from (Random Foreign Country/Continent)" he giggles along with the audience.
"Oh, how exotic!" The man's wife cheerfully laughs.
"I never knew such a place as that existed" He says in a dark yet serious tone.
"Oh hush Author, have you no culture. Oh and the robe, I absolutely love it!" His wife replies trying to lighten up the awkward mood.
"Thank you so much ma'am-" you march through the living room and snatch off the silk scarves from all the lamps and tightly grab Vision's hand. "-Can I just see you in the kitchen for a moment, sweetheart?"
You both then slam your way through the kitchen door and it swings closed behind you, leaving Vision's boss and his wife behind as they sit down on the couch and patiently (more like impatiently on Arthur's end) wait for your return. You then turn around and look at each other before throwing questions.
"Who are those people?!"
"What are you wearing!?"
"Why are they here?"
"What are you wearing!?" Vision questions again boldly
"Well, it's out anniversary, that's why I'm wearing this!"
"Our anniversary of what?" Vison says, desperate to know what the hell you were talking about. Eventually you had enough of these shenanigan's and throw the scarves down at his feet stomping your way to the kitchen chairs. "Well if you don't know, I'm not going to tell you!" you exaggerate, crossing your arms and pouting like a child
"(Male Name), darling! That...that man through there is my boss Mr. Hart! And his dear lady wife Mrs. Hart! The heart on the calendar was an abbreviation!" Vision whispers, roughly tapping his hand on the black heart drawn on the dull colored calendar.
You grab your head and shake it trying to put everything together. "Vision sweetie, you move at the speed of sound and I can make a pen float through the air. Who. Needs. To. Abbreviate!?"
Vision grabs both of your shoulders in an attempt to collect his thoughts and calm you down. "Darling, listen, it's all romantic to do the candles, the music, that stunning outfit. I don't wanna be unappreciative, but right now-"
"Your boss and his wife are expecting a home-cooked meal. Correct?" Vision nods his head while muttering 'exactly' while look around the kitchen in order to find somethin to serve to the unwarned visitation of guests. After looking around for a but, your eyes land on the mini round table that held a plate and food on it. "Well, does your boss and his wife have a hunger for a single chocolate-covered strawberry, split three ways?" Vision hisses while clenching his fists and shaking his head no.
"Oh wait, I might have better ideas" Without hesitation you raise both of your sands and snap your fingers, magically changing your outfit to the one you were wearing earlier that day, a pair of dark high waisted cuffed slacks and a white blouse to match (you can change if you don't like), and the audience claps in astonishment at your transformation whilst you tie your apron in a bow behind your back. Vision gives you a quick peck on the cheek and runs back to the living room to keep others company while you figure out what to serve everyone.
---Time Skip---
After minutes of looking, you couldn't find anything in the kitchen, and the refrigerator was empty, so you decided to call your good neighbor Agnes to see if she could pick up some things from the store and bring it over. A couple of minutes pass and you finally hear a familiar knock on the back door in the kitchen. As soon as you open it Agnes rushes through with her hands full of groceries stacked to her chin as she stumbles through the kitchen. Before you could even mutter out a 'thank you' she stops you dead in your tracks and puts all the food down on the table. "Before you can say anything don't think about it. I mean, what kind of housewife would I be if I didn't have a gourmet meal for four just lying about the place. Not that Ralph wants to eat anything other than baked beans, which explains a lot about his personal appeal, mind you." The audience laughs one more at her silly humor as you quickly render to her aid to grab some of the groceries before they could fall. Unfortunately, it seems like the Universe was not on your side since the large cooking pot crashed and hit the ground, echoing throughout the kitchen, while Agnes yelled out an overexaggerated 'oh my'.
You had to get rid of Agnes and as quickly as you can, so you decided to just push her out the back door despite her protests to help you cook. "Thank you so much Agnes but I can take it from here-"
"Are you sure dear, many hands make light work. And many mouths make good gossip too!"
"Oh ahahaha, you are so naughty! But-"
"Oh, shall I preheat the oven then? hmm?"
"That won't be necessary, thank you for your time!"
Somehow she managed to escape your grasp on her waist and make her way back to the counter to crab some kitchen tools to start cooking for you. "Well, I know you're in a pinch so this menu can be done in a snap." She says snapping her fingers before continuing her rambling. you run back over to her and snatch the utensils from her, setting them on the counter, and grabbing her arms to march her back to the door. "Lobster Thermidor with mini-minced turnovers to start. Chicken à la King with twice-cooked new potatoes for your second course, and Steak Diane with mint jellies for your main. Oh wait! Do you set your own jellies, dear?"
"Yes Agnes I do, now can you please-"
"Ah there you go, good boy! Recipe cards are all on the counter there. Bon Appétit!"
"Haha, yes will do, thank you so much again Agnes! Bye now!" You say slamming the door, making the audience laugh at your exhausted expression. Now that she's gone, you run to the middle of the kitchen and throw your arms around, making all of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen fly open, the dishes start floating out, and the food starts cooking. Out of no where the doors to the island bar swoop open to show Mrs. Hart, but before she could see Vision distracts her by breaking out and singing Yackety Yack by The Coasters, causing her to break out into a little dance, making her way back to the couch. Dear gods and goddess', how lucky are you to have a savior like him.
But little did you know, that the night was only just beginning.

It's a Downpour!
Mammon x Reader
Based on the conversation with Mammon when he comes from while it's pouring
Warnings: None, nice and fluffy fic
You sit idly, studying the pages Belphie recommended for the quiz next week. He was quite skilled with potions after all. A loud crack of thunder sounds as you turn to the next page labeled
(Mammoney)
His name lights up your screen. The second born has sent you a message and the screen lock of your D.D.D. catches your attention making you pick up the device
M. |It's a downpour!|
M. |I'm soaked!|
M. |I was even wearing my favorite jacket. What a waste.|
|I'll come get you.| Y.
M. |Don't worry about it.|
M. |You don't wanna get wet too, do ya?|
|I'll run a bath for you.| Y.
M. |I'd like that!|
M. |A little rain won't stop me now that I know I got you waitn' for me.|
M. |I'm on my way!|
You chuckle at his eagerness and push aside all the books loitering your bed. You'd studied enough for the day so spoiling Mammon for a bit would be a fun break. You hurry to his room and scavenge for a change of clothes that he could change into after his bath
All the spare clothes he'd left in your room were in a dirty pile in the corner waiting to be washed. There were a few similar piles of dirty laundry scattered about on his floor. But you found a clean pair of boxers, some gray sweats and a black tee shirt in his drawers and brought them back to your room
In your bathroom, you kept his clothes in your lap as you sat on the toilet cover. Setting up the water to be nice and warm. A bit hot actually so it wouldn't be cold by the time he got here. You got up and set the clothes on the toilet cover. Setting his spare towel on top of them, managing to see the bubbles Asmo gave you to try out. You grinned, pouring some into the tub and swishing around the water to froth up the bubbles
You waddle out of the bathroom and begin picking up the books and notes you were using to study. Gathering everything and setting them all down on your desk
With that, the front door opens and you swipe a small towel from the rack and grab Mammon's slippers on your way out of your room. You rush out, seeing Mammon's pout turn to a smug grin at the sight of you
You toss the towel at his face "Pat dry a bit so you don't leave a trail of water down the hall" he grumbled, nose scrunching. The pout from only a few seconds ago returning. He kicked off his boots and struggled to remove his socks. His toes curling by how cold the floor was, a visible shiver running down his back. You set his slippers down and smiled at him
Mammon quickly slipped them on and put the towel on his head to start patting down his hair. You grabbed his hand and led him to your room. His tanned hand unusually cold
"Oi human! My room's that way you know" he groaned, blinded by the towel still on his head and now disoriented. His muscle memory telling him they shouldn't have made that turn before the stairs
"I know~" you replied cheekily, dragging him into your room and shoving him into the bathroom and closing the door behind him "Undress and get in, I'll go make some tea and be back. I'll wash your hair if you want" you shouted through the door. Mammon's response muffled by the wooden door
You shrugged, taking whatever he said as his tsundere form of a yes. In the kitchen, Beel was raiding the fridge for his snack before dinner. "Hey Beel!" You smiled at him when he peeked over the fridge door to see who'd called his name. Beel, returning the smile in response to seeing you. Lucifer had brought back some human world tea from his last trip over there and so you wanted to prepare some Chamomile with honey for Mammon "Is there still honey?" You asked, pulling the box of the desired tea from the pantry
"Uhm *munch munch* Oh yeah" he handed you the half empty bottle and you thanked him. Heating up water in the kettle and pouring a couple spoonfuls of honey into two mugs. Cringing as it seeped into the tea bags making them look all sticky
You sat up on a counter and chatted with the famished sixth born waiting for the water to heat. When it did, you poured it into the two mugs. Slipping two coasters into your sweaters pocket to cover them with while they steeped. After the short trip to your room you set both mugs on your side table
"I'm back!" you yell out, moving to the bathroom door and knocking on it. You received no response and so you cautiously peeked in. Mammon stared at you with pastel colored cheeks. Then turning around when you entered the bathroom
He sank into the water blowing raspberries as you kneeled down behind him, his ears were scarlet now. You scrunched your nose, grinning at the adorable dork. Snatching a cup from the side of the tub you dip it into the water and then dump it on his head "H-hey!" He sprang right up turning to attempt to glare at you through the ivory locks sticking to his eyebrows and forehead
Without wasting a single second, you snapped a picture with your D.D.D. Locking it before he had a chance to snatch it away and delete the picture. "That's a keeper" you grin. Grabbing a shampoo bottle "Mine or yours?"
"Mine" he mumbled, flicking some bubbles at you. You switch out the bottle you were holding and pour a bit into your palm. It smelled just like that perfume he always wore. Devilish no.8 was it? No it's no.5 right? Yea, definitely no.5
Either way, you made him turn around so you could lather his hair. Gently rubbing your fingertips into his scalp. He eased back into your bathtub and rested his back on the edge. Somehow managing to nuzzle your hand as you washed his locks. After, you push him a bit forward and tilt his head back; filling the cup again and rinsing out the shampoo properly instead of dumping the water on his head again
You poke his cheek and he peeks an eye open "Finish washing up and get dressed" he pouts at you. You poke your tongue at him and leave the bathroom to finish up on reading the last labeled page of the textbook. The one Satan mentioned would be beneficial with comprehension of possible subjects covered
Halfway through the page "What'cha reading?" Mammon asks, you glance up to see him changed. Towel once again on his head. Placing the book on the side table and removing the coaster from on top the (f/c) mug and taking a sip from it
"Ah, I was just studying for the potion quiz" his face blanked "you forgot about it didn't you" he stammered for and excuse but it only made you chuckle
His face flushed. Embarrassment ever so prominent on his features. Both because of your laugh and his own misfortune "Don't worry, we can study over the weekend. Now sit" you patted the edge of the bed and he took a seat on the floor in front of you
"What's in the mugs anyways?" He looked up at you curiously
You uncovered the yellow mug and passed it to him. Taking to drying his hair after he took it "Human world tea!" You beam happily, gently patting his hair dry "This one's chamomile tea. It's good for sleep and anxiety among other things, probably" he scoffed
"Probably?"
You nodded. Laughing "I don't know, I mean tea is good for you right?" You both laughed. He got up a bit suddenly, a somewhat serious look on his face and got in bed and comfortable under the covers
You quirked a brow at him. Amused "The great Mammon is cold and as your duty as my human you shall warm me up" you shook your head, fighting back a cheeky smile and fixed both mugs on the coasters
You take a final sip and join him under the covers "We have some time before dinner" you murmur, cuddling the demon "Nap time?" He nods into your hair, wrapping his arms around you. He's already half asleep by the time you properly fix the covers on the two of you
~ Bonus ~
"Mccccc?" Asmo nocked and you stirred lightly. He peeped after receiving no reply "It's time for- oh?" He smirked. Snapping a picture of the two of you cuddling before attempting to wake you up
"Mc darling, it's time for dinner" Asmo nudges you gently making you awaken. Repeating himself when you look at him confused, still drowsy. He skips off and leaves you to wake up the second born
It's a picture he sends you over dinner. You in your full bed headed glory mouth a 'thank you' across the table and save the image to set at as a screen lock later

Blackpink Reaction To Their S/O Surprising Them W/ Dyed Hair
A/N: Hello, my lovely readers! Thank you guys for being patient with me on the requests, I really appreciate it. This is my first time writing a reaction, so let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy. Happy reading, everyone!
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Everything is under the cut :)
Jisoo
"Say hello to everyone," Jisoo requests through the phone, looking back up to the screen in front of her with that signature smirk playing on her lips. As fate would have it, she was in the middle of doing a live when you called. The fans love you -- especially since you're so funny and chaotic when you're around -- so you're happy to greet them.
"Hi, Blinks! I'll be there in a few minutes with a special surprise."
Jisoo lets out a shocked noise at this, considering you hadn't told her about your plans.
"Oye! Hurry home so we can see it." She says excitedly, lightly bouncing up and down on the bed. With a smile that's evident in your voice, you tell her goodbye.
---
In one swift motion, you scoop up a cheery Dalgom in your arms, laughing at how he licks your cheeks in greeting.
"I love you, too, buddy."
After setting your bag down on the couch, you make your way to Jisoo's room. Little do you know, she has a surprise of her own in store.
"BOO!" She shouts, keeping her phone steady to capture your reaction to the scare. You tense up and shout, nearly dropping Dalgom in the process, but you recover after a moment. Both of you break out into a fit of giggles, and you look over at the computer on the bedside table to find the fans blowing up the chat. Jisoo wipes the tears of laughter from her eyes, and looks at you again; only now does she notice your new hair.
At first, she's speechless -- only capable of looking at you with hearts in her eyes. Eventually, though, she finds her voice again. "Y/N! Wow, it looks gorgeous!" She smiles, running her hand through the newly dyed locks. Her accent made the compliment even more special, and you don't even try to stop the grin that tugs at your lips.
---
Now seated on the bed with Jisoo beside you and Dalgom in your lap, you flip your hair around exaggeratedly as you show it to the audience. The positive comments roll in, and you take turns reading some of them out loud. From her position against the headboard, she can see the different hues of your hair shine and shimmer brightly in the gentle lamplight; she can't help but admire you.
After half an hour or so, she decides to end the live. You pull Dalgom into your arms again and smoosh your cheek up against Jisoo's, making sure to crowd in enough to fit into frame. Something must have gotten into her, because she leans around to press a lingering kiss to the corner of your lips, right in front of the camera. You can only imagine how much harder the fans are going to ship you now.
With a final wave and goodbye to everyone, she ends it. She wraps one arm around your back as her other comes to rest on your thigh, reaching up every now and then to pet Dalgom's head.
"I'm so happy you like it." You say after a few minutes, breaking the comfortable silence that had fallen over the room. She lifts her head from its place on your shoulder to look at you. "Of course I do, Y/N. Did you doubt that I would?"
"Not exactly… I was just afraid it might not turn out pretty. You know?" She nods in response, but her heart breaks a little: you have no idea how amazing you are.
"I understand, but you don't ever need to worry about that. Everything about you is beautiful because it's a part of you. You make everything pretty." She gushes, tracing little patterns on your hip.
You attempt to dismiss her words, throwing a hand into the air while making a little "pshh" sound, but she doesn't stand for it. "I mean it, Y/N. I'm not just saying that. I'm glad to call you mine; you're so special." Her words affect you more than you thought they would, and soon tears are blurring your vision. Who knew dying your hair could lead to all this?
"I don't know what I did to deserve you, Jisoo, but I love you so much. You always know what to say." And it's true -- she does. She knows you get insecure sometimes, and she's always there to reassure you of her feelings when you need it most.
"And I love you." She affirms, allowing her head to rest on your shoulder again now that you're happy.
Feeling left out, Dalgom lets out a little bark; he wants attention too. In an instant, the room is filled with kissy noises and the sound of your high pitched voices as you both talk to him and shower him with love.
Jennie
"Jen, I'm home!" With a shrug of your shoulders, the warm material of your coat falls down your arms. As you hang it on the rack beside the door, a smile tugs at your lips; Jennie gave you that coat, and it's always done well in keeping you warm and comfortable when she can't be around to do so. You make a mental note to thank her properly.
With that, you amble into the kitchen.
"Yah, jagi! What took so long? I missed you." Jennie whines, her words slipping past the cute little pout that's surely adorning her face. She's preparing a snack at the counter, her back turned to you as she struggles to open the sauce jar.
"Here, let me help," you offer, approaching her.
As she hands you the container, she turns to look at you for the first time tonight. Her eyes widen as she does a double take at you. You don't notice, though -- your focus is elsewhere.
"Jisoo and I saw a new gaming store when we were out today and we decided to stop in. We didn't expect to be there for so long; we just got wrapped up." You tell her, answering her previous question as you finally manage to pop the lid open. Upon sliding the jar over to her and meeting her gaze, an instant blush begins to make its way to your cheeks. Her pupils are blown wide now, and her lips are pursed as she appreciates the sight of you. You never fail to send her heart wild.
"I'm convinced you can rock any color," she flirts, smiling widely at the reaction her words garner from you.
"Why don't you come a little closer and get a better look?" You ask, fighting the shyness that threatens to take over you. She quirks an eyebrow before sauntering over, swiftly moving to tangle her hands in your hair. "It suits you so well, babe." She compliments, toying with the soft strands that fall down into your face as you lean in closer to her. Her embrace is comforting, as always, and you sigh at the feeling of her fingers against your scalp. Before she can stop herself, Jennie leans forward and connects your lips in a sweet kiss. She tastes like fruit, and you can't get enough of the flavor. Working with a sneaking suspicion, you open your eyes and glance over at her work station. Now, with your fears confirmed, you abruptly pull away.
She groans at the loss of contact, but you're quick to speak up. "You made tanghulu without me?? Woooow, Jennie. I'm hurt." You tease, acting truly upset as you take a step away from her. She shakes her head, letting out a little chuckle; for a second, she worried you were upset about something serious.
"Shush, we can always make more."
You don't drop the act so easily, though, and the playful glint in her eye tells you that she's enjoying the banter.
"What else have you done without me today? If you watched that new drama without me then you're sleeping on the couch tonight." A guilty expression falls over her features, and she avoids your gaze.
"About that…" she starts, rubbing the back of her neck as a dry chuckle slips past her lips.
"JENNIE KIM!"
"I'm messing with you, babe. That would be treason." She pulls you into her arms again, raising a hand and giving you a sort of "scout's honor" gesture to prove that she isn't lying. After narrowing your eyes at her one last time to ensure she's being truthful, you give in and kiss her again.
"Fine. You'll just have to keep kissing me to make up for the tanghulu."
"Oh, really? I'll have to start making it without you more often, then." She laughs against your lips as you pinch her for that remark. Your mood brightens exponentially at the sound of her giggles, and you wrap your arms around her even tighter.
Rosé
“I'm home, my love!" You shout, slipping your shoes off and setting them beside the door. A content sigh leaves your lips as you undo the top few buttons of your shirt, finally able to relax and see Rosé. Her excited footsteps carry out across the house as she makes her way downstairs, Hank following right along. You crouch down to pick him up, smiling at the precious way his ears bounce around as he runs into your arms.
"Oww, my heart," Rosie exclaims with a grin, holding her hand against her chest in mock pain. Nothing can compare to seeing her two loves so happy and carefree. She pads her way over to you, and you kiss the top of Hank's head before setting him on the ground. Her arms wrap around your waist, and you pull her in for a warm embrace; the two of you stand like that for a minute, swaying back and forth. Eventually she pulls back to press a kiss to your lips -- something she's been dying to do all day -- and she takes your hat off in order to run her hands through your hair.
"I missed you, babe." The words come out quietly, accompanied by a frown. You peck her lips again until her pout turns into a soft little smile, and rest your forehead against hers.
"Me too. But now I have the next 3 days off, and I'm all yours." Her eyes look into yours lovingly, but quickly shift to look at your newly exposed hair.
A sound of surprise stutters past her lips -- you've truly taken her breath away. She has a special twinkle in her eye as she looks at you, completely in love. Her fingers skim across your collarbone and neck as they move to play with your hair.
"It's beautiful, just like you." You tut at her and bring your hands up to cover your face, taking refuge behind them. She's quick to pull them away, though, pressing a kiss to your knuckles and wrists before interlocking your fingers.
"I mean it, Y/N. You're always so stunning." There's no denying the effect her words have on you; even after being together for as long as you have, her compliments never fail to set your heart aflame.
"How'd I get so lucky, huh?" You ask her as you let your hands settle on her hips. She's clad in a crop top and jeans, and the soft skin of her abdomen against your fingertips is a wonderful contrast to the rough material of her pants.
It's her turn to blush now. "I love you to the mountains and back and to the far far hills--" your giggles interrupt her recital, and she just laughs along with you. "I love you, too, Rose. So much." She presses another kiss to your cheek before leading you up the stairs and calling out for Hank to follow.
Lisa
As you walk down the hallway of the dance studio, destination set on Lisa's rehearsal room, you can hear the strong beat of "Candy" by Doja Cat pulsing inside. A stray staff member passes by you, looking nearly entranced as you run a hand through your hair to readjust it and smile at her. She watches you walk away, incapable of taking her eyes off of you, and that simple act boosts your confidence tenfold. You had been a little nervous to see how people would react to your new look -- Lisa, in particular -- but all of the approval you've been receiving has eased your worries so far.
With one final, steadying breath, you release your fears and open the door.
Your girlfriend doesn't notice you come in at first, given that she's totally in her element, her body winding around as she performs the moves expertly. You lean against the doorframe now, taking in the beautiful sight. During one particular part of the song, she does a set of body rolls, putting the muscles of her abdomen on full display as she flexes them. The low lighting of the room sets the mood perfectly, creating just the right ambiance.
"Damn, baby. Am I crazy or are you somehow getting even better?" The words startle her ever so slightly, pulling her from the other world that she was just in. She glances at you from across the room, and a look of confusion crosses her face for a split second. After she registers that you're you and not some random staff member, her jaw drops to the floor.
Totally disregarding your previous question, she's quick to replace it with her own as she runs over to you. "Y/N! Oh my gosh, why didn't you tell me??" The words come out in a rush as she engulfs you in a tight embrace, and you snuggle into her warmth.
"I wanted to surprise you. I've been wanting to switch it up for a while, and somebody told me that this is your favorite color." You say, unwrapping one of your hands from her waist and bringing it up to toy with your hair. "Do you like it?" You ask, biting your lip as the nerves begin to creep back in momentarily. Lisa hasn't said anything yet -- she's just been studying your features with the hint of a smirk on her lips.
"No, I don't."
"Wha--"
"I love it, babe. You're so beautiful." She says as she rests her forehead against yours.
With a sigh, you nudge her playfully. "Hey, don't do that to me! I thought you didn't like it." You pout, avoiding her now incredulous gaze.
"Look at me." She commands, cupping your cheek gently as she lifts your head to face her. "Did you seriously think I wouldn't like it? You could be bald and I'd still be just as in love with you as ever. But that color looks absolutely gorgeous on you."
She always knows just what to say.
"I love you, dork." You grin, pressing a kiss against her soft lips.
"And I love you. Now, come dance with me." Her hands skim down your arms on their journey to your hands, and she interlocks your fingers. She walks backwards towards the middle of the room, doing a goofy little shimmy on the way. Her antics draw a giggle from you, and she reciprocates. Before long, the two of you are having a full on dance battle as another new song blasts through the speakers.

"Something isn't right, Namjoon. I just know it. I think she's relapsing again."
Taehyung's voice was a bare mumble, his eyes carefully trained on the staircase to make sure you weren't awake yet. There was no way Taehyung wanted you to listen to what was on his mind, he knew you'd get mad at him. Just because something is wrong with somebody, doesn't mean they'll always be very accepting about it. Taehyung's coffee mug lay idly on the counter, his teeth nervously gnawing at his lips.
"Keep an eye on her, Taehyung. Maybe, stay with her? Look, if she's really relapsing, I can't see her until after three days. Y/N would definitely not want to see me before her appointment."
Taehyung sighed, closing his eyes and massaging his forehead. He didn't have any choice but to listen to Namjoon since he didn't know how else to help you. Moreover, you were lying. Taehyung swore he saw that look in your eyes, that look you give when you're unsure whether to trust the person or not. It pained him to know that you felt the need to hide something from him, even when he stood by you for years. He was really hoping you have a good enough reason for that.
"Okay, thanks. I'll- I'll watch out." Taehyung hung up without waiting for Namjoon to reply. He placed the phone on the counter rather roughly, sighing in frustration and burying his face in his hands.
You groggily staggered out of bed, panicking a little on waking up alone. You didn't have much memory of last night but the bandages on your feet were enough to remind you about everything. One look at Jimin's painting and you were on your feet, not wanting to be alone in his presence. You were praying that Taehyung hadn't left, low mumbles leaving your mouth as you rushed down the staircase. Your feet ached, making you wince with every step you took but you managed to make it to the living room where Taehyung was hunched over the open kitchen counter. You didn't realize how fast your heart had been beating until you halted and took in a deep breath. Your eyes closed in relief, a hand going over your chest to feel the thuds of your heartbeat. Taehyung immediately looked up upon hearing someone's heavy breathing, his eyes widening momentarily on seeing you catching your breath. He stood up from the bar stool, walking towards you with a concerned frown.
"Y/N, are you okay?" He enquired, stretching his arms out to place them on your shoulder. It was as if Taehyung's touch had made you weak, for your legs gave away and you stumbled into his arms. A gasp left his mouth as he caught you, steadying you in his arms and making sure you weren't going to fall. With one hand on your back, he led you to the couch, helping you sit down before kneeling in front of you. "Hey, you alright?" He asked gently, rubbing your bare knee soothingly as you covered your face with your hands.
It took you a minute to gather yourself, your brain trying to convince you that you were definitely okay. You slowly pulled your hands away from your face and clasped them in front of you, your eyes falling onto your lap as you nodded. You hadn't noticed before but your hands were shaking, Taehyung's warm hands coming to wrap around your cold ones. Your eyes looked up into his eyes, guilt eating you up at the worry in them.
"I worry you so much, don't I?" You whispered in disbelief. How could someone be so messed up? If it were you, you would have probably run away by now, unlike Taehyung. You weren't even nice to him, so why the hell did he put himself through all this for you?
Taehyung smiled slightly, glancing at the floor before looking at you again. He inhaled deeply, leaning closer to you and cupping your cheek.
"Not really. It kinda feels all worth it to me."
Your heart fluttered and you pursed your lips. Damn it, Taehyung. Damn it for saying something like that. With a shaky breath, you lowered yourself from your place on the couch and placed your arms around Taehyung's neck, hugging him tightly. Your vulnerability took Taehyung by surprise, your body feeling so fragile under his touch that he couldn't help but frown. Something was really wrong, you were slipping away. Taehyung could feel it.
You clutched onto the back of Taehyung's t-shirt, your eyes blankly staring at the wall as you focused on the warmth embracing you. It really wasn't worth it.
Life really wasn't worth it.
Your eyes wandered across the wooden staircase, the shiny cherry wood coming to an end where you had placed the antique coat rack. Nan had complained about it, telling you how you shouldn't just trust people when they say something is antique. You waved her off, replying with some sarcastic comment that made her laugh. You remembered her as vividly as anything else and for a second, a very dreadful feeling washed over you. Your heart began beating faster, a lump forming in your throat as you tried your best to breathe normally. You were grateful that Taehyung wasn't asking you any questions.
As you began calming down, your breath hitched, eyes pausing on the raven haired man standing beneath the staircase. He was leaning against the wooden railing, arms crossed and eyes fixated on you. His lips were pursed in disapproval, eyes glinting with an emotion you couldn't decipher. No longer able to hold his gaze, you closed your eyes and buried your face in Taehyung's neck, hoping that Jimin would disappear himself. He had to, right? He was only an illusion.
Your whimper caused Taehyung to straighten up, his mind registering the way you were clinging onto him like your life depended on it. He leaned back a little, trying to pull away so that he could see what was wrong with you but you didn't let him. Your lips kept moving as you mumbled to yourself.
"I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy…"
"Y/N? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked, pushing your hair back from your face. You didn't budge, eyes peeking open to see Jimin stood there with a smirk on his lips. You sneered, immediately closing your eyes again and hiding yourself in Taehyung's arms again. Taehyung decided to take the harsher way around. He placed one hand on your shoulder and pushed you away, only for you to help loudly.
"No! No, please don't. Just a minute more."
You squeezed your eyes tightly, your fingers clawing Taehyung's back. Without a word, Taehyung hugged you back, assuming that you were gonna have an attack of some sorts. And he wasn't wrong. Because the next second, your breathing grew ragged and you started wheezing. Taehyung placed his one hand on the back of your head and rubbed your back with the other. "It's okay, Y/N. I've got you." He cooed, rocking you in his arms. You willed your mind to listen to Taehyung's voice, the deepness of it slowly pulling you back into reality. You let him whisper sweet things to you, your breathing inching back to it's normal pace. With your leftover strength, you opened your eyes, sighing softly upon seeing Jimin gone. His sudden appearance made you wonder if Namjoon's prescription was even working. You sniffled, pulling away from Taehyung and hanging your head low in embarrassment. Taehyung on the other hand, lifted your chin up so that he could look at you. He gazed at you as if you were the most precious thing in the world and you hated it.
"How do you feel?" He questioned, running his fingers along your arm. You swallowed thickly, trying to guess Taehyung's reaction on your sudden change of heart. With a shaky breath, you opened your mouth and blurted out the words you never thought you'd say.
"I wanna see Namjoon. I need him to help me."
Taehyung parted his lips in surprise, eyes widening momentarily as he took in your words. Your eyes were desperate and Taehyung could feel the confusion surging through him. What was happening?
Taehyung reluctantly nodded, stroking your cheek once before getting up and proceeding to call Namjoon.
____________________________________________
The same old walls stared back at you, your fingers playing with each other as Namjoon talked outside with Taehyung. Yet again, you had managed to surprise Taehyung when you said that you were gonna proceed with the day's session alone. You had confirmed his suspicions of you holding secrets from him. Unfortunately, he couldn't say he was hurt. This is exactly how therapy sessions were supposed to happen. He needed to get used to this.
Your eyes wandered across the polished table before you, the numerous papers scattered before you made you lean forward to take a closer look at them. These seemed to be the files of Namjoon's other patients. You knew you weren't supposed to be snooping around so you shook your head and leaned back on the couch, crossing your arms and patiently waiting for Namjoon to come back.
You had made your decision. You were going to talk to Namjoon about Jimin. He was your doctor and he was supposed to believe you. That's what he always told you. This time, you were trusting him to hold your secret. If he didn't believe you then…
You sighed in frustration, tapping your foot against the carpet and glanced over your shoulder at the door which was still closed.
What was taking them so long?
You turned back to the table, your eyes pausing on catching two words on a paper that was peeking out of a file. All air seemed to be knocked out of your lungs, your throat running dry and your eyes widening in shock.
Park Jimin.
Before you knew it, your hand was stretched out to pull the file towards you, quickly flipping the pages to see what this was all about. Your heart pounded in your chest, eyes hurrying over the information printed on the sheets. You realized this file belonged to a man in his 60s, someone who seemed to be dealing with PTSD too. You quickly looked behind you to see if there were any signs of Namjoon coming back but there were none. With a relieved sigh, you pulled out your phone and began capturing each of the pages to find out what this was all about.
All this was too much to take in, you felt your head throbbing slightly. There was no way this was a coincidence, right? How could two people see the same person? On hearing low murmurs and heavy footsteps, you tossed the file on the table, sitting back quietly as the door opened to reveal Namjoon walking in. You pretended to be bored as Namjoon sat in front of you. He showed you his dimples, glancing at the table with all the papers scattered across.
"Ah! I'm sorry, I was a little busy before you abruptly settled an appointment. But Y/N…. I'm really glad you wanted to do this." You gave him a tight smile, nodding in acknowledgement. Namjoon didn't know how grateful you were that he had left the files unattended. As he gathered the files to place them back in his cabinet, you slowly looked down at your phone, taking in the name of the man who was haunted by the same beauty as you.

You killed me Min. You killed me :') But thank you for my first ever ask girl, even though it was out of pity😂
Enjoy❤
Double Date?
Gruvia/Nalu drabble
Don’t you think Gray and Juvia have been getting a lot...closer lately?" Lucy questioned as she stared at the pair across the guild.
Juvia was blabbering away as Gray tried to look uninterested but nodded, confirming he was.
“It just seems like we haven’t heard from him in a while since he’s always around Juvia now. I wonder why that is.”Lucy hummed.
"I don't know, but whatever it is I'm glad it's keeping ice freak away. He'd stay away if he knew what was good for em'."Nastu grumbled out as he chomped on another chicken bone.
Lucy sighed. He just didn't get it. Lucy suspected the lack of Gray around was because him and Juvia were dating. All the clues pointed to it! After all, Gray and Juvia would always walk out the guild at the same time, and would even go on missions together. Of course he would still talk to her and Natsu, but he seemed different. He seemed...happier.
It was like he was a different person now. Like he would smile a lot more often. A genuine smile. And that might be because of love. What if Juvia and Gray were doing more than going on missions and walking home together? Lucy smiled as a mischievous idea popped in her head.
"Natsu, do you want to help me spy on Juvia and Gray to see if they are dating? Anything… even a kiss on the cheek will confirm my suspicions."
Natsu made a disgusted face as he swallowed his huge bite of chicken.
" Gray dating? No way! He wouldn't. He's too stubborn to ever date Juvia. Besides he's taking so long with Juvia, I wouldn't be surprised if her love faded away by now."Nastu snickered.
Lucy bopped him on the head with the Sorcerers' magazine she was reading earlier.
"You're lucky I didn't leave with how long you took! Everyone suggested I move on with my love for you because you were so oblivious!"
Lucy glared, shaking her head in disappointment.
Natsu growled as he glared back." How was I supposed to know you liked me when you're always hitting me!"Natsu retorted.
Lucy blushed and averted her eyes away from Nastu's gaze. She did always overreact a bit...she would have to get better with that.
" Anyway I think Juvia and Gray are dating, and I'm going to get proof. Are you in?" Lucy asked, still watching Gray and Juvia in the corner of her eye.
"I don't think they are dating. It will just be a waste of time!" Natsu frowned crossing his arm.
"How about...we make a bet on it? I will give you 100 jewels if I'm right, and you give me 100 if I'm right." Lucy suggested, with a smirk on her face.
Natsu thought about it for a second before giving his signature grin.
"You're on!"
Gray closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. He had hardly been listening to Juvia as he racked his brain for a way he could ask her out. Of course Juvia had always been the one to ask to go with him somewhere, but he had always agreed as friends. This time he wanted to ask her out himself. In a...romantic sense. Not as friends.
And he needed her to understand that after everything she had done for him, he would start taking her more seriously,as he promised. It already took him long enough to realize something very important. He loved all of Juvia. From the way she bit her upper lip when she was nervous, or how she cutely puffed out her cheeks when she was slightly annoyed, he finally understood that he really loved this woman.
She was selfless, confident, loving and everything about her was gorgeous. Something he had tried not to notice for a while. He had always turned a blind eye to it. He had constantly fought his feelings for her.
But he had to take this opportunity to claim her before she was taken away forever. He would never forgive himself if that were to happen. Gray had even decided on the place he would ask her to go. The aquarium. He knew Juvia would like it since she adored animals. Plus water. Like, duh.
He had been planning to ask her all day but he didn’t have enough courage. He knew she would say yes but it was...embarrassing. And he couldn't help but think of the worst possible scenario.
“ And then the puppy bit Juvia! But of course she couldn’t get mad because he was just too cute! So when-”
“Hey...uh, Juvia?”
“Huh? Oh,yes Gray~sama?”
Her gleaming sapphire eyes turned to look at him, and Gray felt his throat go dry. The nervousness grew in the pit of his stomach, eating him alive.
” Do you want to...go to the um...I mean-”
“Oh, Gray~sama an aquarium opened near the park! Did you want to go with Juvia?"
Gray’s mouth dropped open, but he quickly closed, determined to keep his cool.
"I mean there’s nothing else to do around here. Sure.”
Gray mentally face-palmed after he heard the words that flew out of his mouth. Why did he always have to make it seem like he was disinterested in everything?
As the pair got up to exit the guild, Lucy was silently following them with her eyes.
”Natsu! They’re leaving!! Let’s go!” Lucy excitedly shook the sleeping dragon slayer.
”Lucy stop- Alright I’m up geez!”
As Juvia and Gray walked down the cobblestone street toward their destination, Lucy and Natsu trailed behind. They occasionally hid behind a tree or bush they came across. She always had to pull Natsu down to hide with her, since he wasn't one for stealth.
Gray and Juvia finally came to the front of the building to pay for their tickets. Gray asked for 2 tickets and as Gray was about to pay, Juvia touched his forearm and gave him her sweetest smile.
" Don't worry Gray~sama. Juvia will pay for herself."
"But Juvia I can-"
"Gray~sama, it's fine."
She then handed the man some jewels she grabbed from her purse and collected her ticket. Gray sighed. The date was already not going the way he thought it would. That's if Juvia even knew it was a date. What if she didn't know it was a date, and thought it was just another friendly outing?
Gray internally moaned. Why did things have to be so hard when it came to Juvia? He had to tell her.
"Hey Juvia-"
" Come on Gray~sama! Juvia wants to see the fish!" She was excitedly jumping up and down, her curls bouncing behind her.
He just sighed and smiled to himself.
Lucy was hiding in a bush as she saw Gray and Juvia walk in the pale white building. Lucy gasped as she patted her pockets in desperation.
"Natsu, I left my money at home! Do you have some to pay for the tickets? I promise I'll pay you back for mine."
Lucy glanced over to Natsu as she seen him glaring through the bushes. He answered without even turning to look at her.
"Hell no. I spent all my jewels on food at the guild. Remember that chicken bone? I had to pay for it somehow."
Lucy groaned in irritation.
"Seriously what are you even good for!"
"Hush Lucy. I'm thinking of a plan to get us into that building."
Then Nastu's eyes lit up as a mischievous grin graced his lips. Lucy flailed her arms in panic.
"No Natsu! Whatever it is, I don't wanna!"Lucy whined in retaliation.
"Too late now." He said, as he slung a squirming Lucy over his shoulder.
"Let's go, Lucy!"
Juvia gasped as she looked around in awe. She ran up to the glass and pressed her small button nose against it, peering into the blue colorful mass of water. She had a glint of wonder in her eyes as if she were a kid.Gray smirked as he observed her. It was funny that Juvia still acted as if she had never seen water or fish before, yet she was a water mage.
"Gray~sama look! Juvia sees a shark!" Juvia pointed excitedly at the glass. Gray squinted through the water, and looked for any signs of movement.
He then spotted the gray blur.
"Oh yeah, that's a mako shark."
Juvia giggled in amusement, a sound that made his stomach fill up with butterflies.
"It's funny, because Juvia never really liked sharks." She whispered more to herself than Gray.
She smiled slightly looking into the crystal blue water.
"Really? I think they are pretty cool." Gray shrugged.
"Of course you do, Gray~sama. They are kinda like you! A bit mean acting, and bites a lot!" Juvia covered her mouth to hold back a giggle.
"Hey! I'm not that mean…sometimes..."Gray struggled retort.
" Of course not Gray~sama. Juvia was only kidding." She smiled and sent him a playful wink.
Gray scoffed with a roll of his eyes but hecouldn't hide the smile creeping on his face. Juvia looked forward, still watching the brownish shark glide through the water.
" Sharks tend to feed on fish that are weak, sick or injured. Even if that is the food chain, Juvia doesn't like it." She glanced down at the floor and smiled to herself.
" It reminds Juvia of her time in the orphanage. When the little boy's used to pick on Juvia for her rain she couldn't control. Or when the headmistress would punish Juvia because she flooded the crops a lot. Juvia was definitely weak back then…" She trailed off.
She still had that slight smile on her face, but her face was twisted in a hint of sadness. Gray could tell this was getting hard for her. He had forgotten about her bad past at the orphanage. How could he have forgotten something so important about Juvia?
"Juvia we can leave if you don't want to stay. I mean I didn't know that-"
"Juvia is really fine! She is over it...she just thinks of it sometimes, that's all." She put on a warm smile, but Gray couldn't help but notice the tears at the corner of her eyes.
The next thing he knew, he was holding Juvia in his arms. Her breathing halted, as her eyes widened.
She felt the warmth of Gray's, muscular, toned arms around her. The way he smelled of rosewood and lemongrass was intoxicating to her. Gray didn't want to let go. His arms around her just felt so...right to him. Her curly, blue hair was as soft to the touch as he always imagined.
He finally snapped back to reality and quickly pulled away. He blushed crimson as he ran his hands through his messy black hair. He couldn't make himself look at her. Not when his heart was going a mile a minute. And certainly not when he could still smell the scent of raindrops and roses. His cheeks burned as she stared up at him with confused eyes.
"Gray~sama…."
" Oh I heard they opened up another exhibit for a stingray. Let's go check that out." Gray mentioned, trying to change the subject. Juvia frowned as she trailed behind him.
"Natsu you better not drop me!!" Lucy cried as Nastu climbed in the open window on the side of the building, with her draped over his back.
"I'm not going to drop you Lucy! Stop whining already-" Natsu was cut off with Lucy squirming in his hold. Natsu's grasp started to slip.
" Lucy you're gonna make both of us fall! You're already heavy enough as it is!"
"That is so rude Natsu!" Lucy whined.
Finally they made it inside the building by sliding through the open window. They seen the backs of Juvia and Gray walking toward another room.
" This has to be a date! Gray wouldn't take just anybody here!" Lucy told Natsu.
" I bet Gray couldn't have thought of such a nice date place anyway." Natsu snickered.
"On our first date you took us to your dirty house to 'hang out'." Lucy said, staring at Natsu with a dead-panned expression.
"Yeah. It was great wasn't it Lucy?" Natsu replied.
Lucy rolled her eyes as she looked back at the pair. Gray's cheeks were really red for some reason. And Juvia had a slight pout adorning her pale pink lips.
"I wonder what's going on…" Lucy thought.
"Ughhhh,I'm bored! When are we gonna stop spying?" Natsu groaned.
"Hush Natsu! They are gonna hear us-"
"Hey, what are you doing here!!? I didn't see you guys pay up front!" They saw a man with the exact same outfit as the ticket collect outside, pointing an accusing finger at them. That must be another worker!
"Well time to go!" Natsu grabbed Lucy's hand. He sprinted towards Gray and Juvia, with a fumbling Lucy behind him.
" Are you guys dating? Hurry up, we are about to get kicked out." Natsu huffed.
Gray felt anger and a furious blush rise on his cheeks. Why would they ask them something so explicit?! Besides he never even told Juvia he had meant for this to be their date!
Juvia had surprised eyes and gaped open mouth.
"Natsu-san…" Juvia managed to croak as she covered her blushing face with her hands.
She waited for Gray to confirm what he always said. That they were just friends. This was normal between them. He was just being nice as usual. But if she went on a rampage like normal and claimed they were dating, it would push Gray away even more. But Gray didn't say a thing.
"Juvia...isn't dating Gray~sama! You're so silly Natsu-san." Juvia said as she plastered on an awkward smile.
Gray's heart dropped. He didn't know why he expected her to say something else. He had never told her this was a date in the first place, so why was he even expecting anything else?
"Yeah. I mean why would you think that? You know me and Juvia have only been friends for awhile Natsu. Stop being an idiot."
Juvia could feel the tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. Hearing it outloud was even worse than her assuming it.
"You have to pay to get in you know!" The angry ticket collector yelled, storming over to them.
"Let's run!" Natsu yelled behind him, already halfway to the open window.
"Natsu- hey wait!"
Lucy said breathless as she ran behind him.
"Gray~sama, let's go too?" Juvia gave him a playful smile as ran after the escaping Nastu and Lucy.
They finally made it outside and started sprinting away from the building. After a while, they finally stopped to catch their breaths.
All of them panting heavily Lucy looked behind her.
" Wow, that guy seemed really angry. I got scared for a second."
Juvia and Lucy met eyes, and for a second, they just smiled. Then they immediately started giggling. The boys looked at them like they had grown a second head. Then Natsu started to laugh. Gray let out a hearty chuckle as well.
"Juvia...doesn't even know...why she is laughing!!" She giggled.
"Me neither!" Lucy clutched at her stomach as she wiped a stray tear from her eye.
Everyone finally settled down and could stand straight again.
"Oi Lucy! Don't forget you owe me 100 jewels after this!" Natsu smirked.
Lucy sighed. "Darnit…I thought I was spot on with this one…"
" What's wrong Lucy-san?" Juvia tilted her head in confusion. Lucy shook her head, as she let out a slight chuckle.
"Me and Natsu betted earlier on if you and Gray were dating. But since you guys said no I owe him some jewels now…"
"Huh?!" Gray yelled.
Juvia clutched at her cheeks in surprise.
"Why would Lucy-san and Natsu-san think that?!"
"Well it's just…." Lucy thought for a moment, and her eyes lit up in realization.
" Well...it's just Gray has seemed happier lately, you know? Plus he hangs out with you a lot. And he takes you on missions and walks you home. In fact, you guys sorta act like a couple already."Lucy shrugged.
Gray felt his cheeks burn at her statements and he opened his mouth to retort, but came up with nothing. Everything she said had been true, and he had no excuse.
Juvia had been biting her lip as she looked down at the ground. She had to stop her imagination from going wild. She would always love Gray, but she wouldn't get her hopes up and think this was a date, when it was just Gray being a friend as usual.
" Actually it was a date. And you jerks ruined it, you know?" Gray replied.
Juvia's eyes widened as she whipped her head to look at Gray. He wasn't meeting her eyes, but she could tell he was embarrassed. Juvia gasped as her mouth hung open, tears threatening to fall.
"Gray~sama?! Juvia-" ''Well let's go on a double date! Lucy owes me money anyway, so she can pay for both me and her!" Nastu declared, a grin adorning his face.
"You dummy, Natsu! I won the bet! He just said he was dating Juvia!"
Gray finally got the courage to look at Juvia and her crystal blue eyes met his. Her eyes were wide as if she were frozen in shock, and a tear fell down her pale cheeks.
Before he knew, Juvia had her lips pressed against his in a passionate kiss. Gray finally snapped out of his daze and fell into the moment. He somehow had known her lips would be so soft. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him forward. Gray let his hands flow through Juvia's flowing curls. Juvia let out a small moan.
Their lips pressed against each other sweetly, making the taste of each other's lips linger as they parted, both panting softly. Lucy had already covered her red face in her hands while Natsu looked on in astonishment. Gray was frozen in place as Juvia smiled. She then turned to stunned Natsu and a furiously blushing Lucy.
"Where is this double date going to be?"
End-

Hey everyone! I recently completed my first semester of college with a full course load (18 credits) and all As, and I thought I could share some of the things that have (and haven't) worked for me these last few months. This is just going to be on dorm life, but I'll probably do some on organization and school work in the future. I do go to a pretty small school so my experiences may not be applicable to everyone, but I hope somethings on this list may help!
Roommates can be pretty hit or miss, and if it's the latter, talk to your resident assistant! My first roommate was nice enough but we had very different ways of living. I had become closer friends with one of my suitemates so we talked with our RA and managed to switch with little issue. If you're not satisfied with your roommate situation, it won't get better, so get help!
A great habit to get into is making your bed every morning. If you're rushing to a morning class, at least make it once you get back to your dorm. Your room can be spotless, but a messy bed can ruin the effect. A made bed will also make it less likely for you to get back in bed when you should be doing something more productive!
Make sure you talk with your roommates/suitemates about shared living spaces - when the bathroom gets cleaned, where everyone gets to store their stuff, etc. This will prevent future conflict if sorted out early in the year!
Leave your door open as much as possible! I know a lot of people recommend this, but it's really amazing how many people will stop by and chat, I've made a couple good friends because of doing this (plus it helps keep the room cooler if your window is open in the summer because the air can circulate).
A Keurig and/or a hot water boiler are really useful. Coffee shops on campus can get expensive even with the flex cash, and it's really nice to make a cup of tea at the end of a long day.
Fairy lights are your friend. My roommate and I hate the harsh, fluorescent lights the college gave us, so we picked up 5-6 strands of white lights and swooped them from wall to wall across the ceiling. They illuminate the room with warm light and make it really cute! We're a little extra sometimes but a couple of strands can go a long way.
Pillows are a must have. Whether your bed is on the floor or lofted like mine, they make the room so much more inviting and your bed way comfier!
You don't need a TV or a microwave, but the latter is useful. TVs just take up precious storage space and it's honestly easier to stream shows on your phone or laptop. Microwaves are super useful, but lots of people have them, so you can just make friends with other people on your floor - most of the people I know are really chill about letting others use theirs.
Get some shower shoes, please. I fortunately don't have floor wide communal bathrooms, but I do share a shower with three other people, and that floor is a breeding ground for bacteria.
On that note, make sure the bathroom gets cleaned at least once a week. Shower, toilet, sinks, the works. This really helps reduce the likelihood of getting sick, which can really cut down on your productivity. I really like Clorox or Lysol wipes - they can be used on practically anything!
It's also important to wipe down surfaces in your room every 1-2 weeks, plus it makes your room smell better!
College vacuums are nasty and smell bad, so it's a good idea to pick up at least a small hand-held vacuum to clean up your area each week. You'd be surprised how much can accumulate on the floor.
This one's optional, but a cute, durable rug can really make your room nicer. I got mine from Home Depot for around $40 which is a bit of an investment, but it's so much nicer than the old college carpet.
Lofting your bed(s) really does save space. I've grown up with a loft so the small under space for my desk and shelves isn't a problem for me. My current bedframe doesn't allow you to raise it up, but if yours does and you have enough floor space for your other furniture, that can be even more precious storage space.
Open your window shades! It's nice to get natural light, and if you get enough, you can even keep little plants on your window sill!
Some RAs put in more effort than others, but make an effort to go to floor or building wide events, you might have a great time. These are often on weeknights, so they're a nice break from studying.
Beware of air freshener. Yes, college dorms often don't smell great, but you will quickly be desensitized to the scents you choose, so it can start to smell too strong to others. I like using linen spray, it keeps your sheets and room smelling fresh but isn't too overpowering.
Make your desk area your own. My roommate and I are different in that she loves to be minimalist, whereas I love cozy clutter. I have lots of pictures and art of family, friends, and home on my walls and shelves whereas she has everything in neat containers or drawers, and a single tapestry on the wall. Do whatever makes you happy.
Your room should ultimately be the place where you can chill after a long day, so try not to do as much of your studying there. It's nice to get out and go to the library or a new coffeeshop for work so your room can just be for relaxing in. However, your room should still be set up in a way where you can be productive - especially during finals or when the weather is too bad to go out in.
This one applies to me mostly, but you don't need to bring all of your stationary and notebooks with you. There's not necessarily going to be enough room for it all. I'm still working on this, but you probably don't need eight sets of pens for college.
Invest in a speaker or speakers if you haven't already. I've made my room super homey, and one of the biggest ways is by having music almost always playing - not necessarily loudly but just enough that I'm not sitting in silence all the time.
It may be tempting to stock your mini fridge with ice cream and microwave meals but try to fill it with other things! Frozen berries, yogurt, chia or flax seeds, milk (or almond milk if you're lactose intolerant like me), some water bottles or cans of pop. It's nice to be able to reach for a healthy snack without having to trek over to the dining hall or campus store.
Decorating your dorm for the season or holiday can be really fun and a nice break from studying. My roommate and I hung tons of ornaments from the ceiling for Christmas which looked really cute, and we decorate our door for each month. It can be a bit time consuming, but it's just a fun thing to consider.
Take time at least once a week just to tidy up. Wash dishes, put laundry away, file papers, vacuum. For me, cleaning up helps reboot my brain, and I find myself to be way more productive with a clean area.
Those soft fleece blankets are really great for cuddling in when you're sick, tired, it's your time of the month, etc. (I have two but you probably just need one)
Don't do you laundry over the weekend unless you've gotten up early. Everyone does it then, so try to find a free morning or afternoon during the week to do it.
On that note, a drying rack is super useful. You can save money by not putting your clothes through a drying cycle, and just let them air dry. This also makes your room smell good!
I live in Michigan so summers get hot and winters are freezing. Fans (plural) are a must have if your dorm has no AC, I have a desk fan and a tall room fan. Blankets and warm pjs and slippers really help in getting through the cold season.
Make friends with someone who has a car on campus if you don't have one! This can be really useful especially for late night trips to Meijer.
At the end of the day, your dorm should be your happy place. Keep it clean, well stocked, and cute, and your college experience will be even better!
I hope some of these tips were useful! Keep an eye out for the next post in this series, and good luck in the new year to all of you!

Clint/rescuer prompt: Clint growled lightly “Not that I don't mind giving a good show once in a while, but doesn't this violate I don't know, some kind of doctors' ethics or something? Or don't I rate pants?” His rescuer/jailer laughed over the small fire in the corner of the cavern that they hid in. “You've only been fully awake for less than thirty minutes and what has you worried is not having pants?” “Hey I know where my priorities are."
run the world (girls), clint/darcy
Now on AO3. (if you can, please leave a review. It means a lot to me.)
AKA the one where the Avengers are all women, and I don’t mean gender-swap (inspired by this post)
Okay, I’m sorry this took so long. The muse started out on fire but left me high and dry by the end. Also I had to tweak the dialogue a little to make it fit. :)
Darcy fiddled with her bracelet for at least the sixth time, only to be rebuked by a stern voice in her ear.
“Darcy, you need to relax.”
She huffed and rolled her eyes in response. “I’m trying, Maria. This isn’t really my element, you know. I’m much more comfortable stealing things out from under someone in the board room. Except, you know, not literally.”
Another voice chimed in to reassure her. “Which you do very well, Darcy.”
Darcy rolled her eyes fondly. “Thanks, Pepper. Is everyone listening to me suck at this undercover thing right now?”
There was a long pause. With a sigh, Darcy eyed a nearby waiter who was passing out champagne glasses. She flagged him down and huffed, “I guess that’s a yes.”
“You’ll be fine, milaya,” the Black Widow purred in her ear. “Do you remember what your target will be wearing?”
Darcy accepted the glass from the waiter with a charming smile. She took a tiny sip of the champagne. Hiding her mouth behind the slim glass, she responded, “Yeah, he’ll be the guy in a purple suit. Seems a little ridiculous to me, but at least he should stand out.”
One of the Avengers—probably Peggy—started to admonish her for not taking the op seriously when a voice behind Darcy exclaimed, “Excuse me! Are you Darcy Lewis?”
The chatter from the comm abruptly ceased. Darcy turned slowly, hoping beyond hope that it wasn’t the guy in the purple suit. That greeting couldn’t even pretend to be in the same realm as subtle, much less stealthy. She caught sight of him, and—yeah, hopefully the nation’s security was not in the hands of this lost little puppy. He was cute, in a little kid sort of way. And luckily for her, not wearing a purple suit.
Which meant she had no time to talk to him about his superhero crushes. She asked coolly, “Can I help you?”
The young man—surely he wasn’t even eighteen—practically vibrated with excitement. “You’re Darcy Lewis, right?” Without waiting for her to respond, he gushed, “You work with the Avengers! Black Widow and Captain America, and—”
Darcy cut him off sharply, lowering her voice and enunciating clearly. “Look, kid. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m Vice President of Potts Industries, not a superhero.”
He nodded conspiratorially and winked. “Right. By day, you’re VP of Potts Industries, right-hand woman—” he snorted at his own joke, “—to Pepper Potts, who’s only the leader of the greatest superhero team on Earth.”
Darcy’s comm crackled to life. “I like him,” Pepper cooed, laughing under her breath.
Simultaneously, Peggy grumbled, “We’re co-leaders, thank you very much.”
Unaware of their reactions, the boy continued, “But everyone knows that your other job—”
A firm hand clapped the young man on the shoulder, gripping hard. “I think you’re making the lady uncomfortable, hotshot.”
It was the man in the purple suit. “You never said he would be attractive,” Darcy muttered under her breath to the rest of the team. And he was, in a rugged sort of way. He didn’t look like a rookie agent at all, as a matter of fact.
There was smothered laughter on the other side of the comm, but the guy in purple distracted Darcy by throwing her a salacious wink.
She tamped down on the attraction that fluttered in her belly and turned to the young man. “Look—”
“Peter.”
“Look, Peter. It was very nice to meet you, really. But I’m a little busy right now, so if you’ll excuse me.” She looked at him pointedly, hoping he’d get it.
He didn’t. “But this is a gala. How are you busy—oh. Oh.” He bobbed his head excitedly. “You’re busy. On definitely-not Avengers business. Right, right. Okay.” Peter danced away a couple of steps—the man in the purple suit looking onthe whole time—and then turned back and hissed altogether too loudly, “Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.”
He even waved and gave an exaggerated wink as he hurried away. Darcy rolled her eyes in exasperation.
“That’s not the tactic I would’ve taken to get rid of him, but to each their own,” the man in purple murmured, standing so close that his breath ghosted over the shell of her ear. Darcy flinched in surprise, but managed to refrain from a stronger reaction. Ignoring it, the man stepped even closer and grazed the outside of her arm with a calloused fingertip.
Throatily, he added, “Maybe you and I cold go somewhere more private and get to know each other a little better?”
At that, Darcy spun on her heel, ready to rip him a new one. At her expression, his eyes went wide and he took a tiny step back. He stuttered quickly, “Aww, shit. No, not like that. I just meant—if, you know, we’re supposed to trade—”
Darcy giggled at the transition from suave federal agent to bumbling puppy. Turning the tables, she invaded his space and purred, “Sounds like a great idea. Let’s find ourselves an empty room, shall we?” She stood close enough to watch his throat move as he gulped, and took the time to appreciate the spicy scent of his aftershave.
There was no reaction to Darcy’s flirting from the team, and she frowned in confusion. She knew better than to believe they would have nothing to say about her flirting, and was perturbed by the glaring silence.
And just like that, everything went to shit. One of the Avengers called, “incoming!” over the comm, and then an explosion rocked the mansion, rattling the opulent chandeliers. There was shouting from the upstairs balconies, and masked men started pouring down the stairs. Darcy’s companion took her hand and they fled with the rest of the crowd to escape the ballroom.
They raced down the hallways, almost making it to the main entrance before Darcy heard the telltale thump of combat boots approaching around the corner.
Thinking fast, she tugged the agent into the coat room. Sliding behind a rack of winter coats, they huddled together in silence and waited for the sound of footsteps to pass.
Once it was clear they were gone, Darcy turned and whispered, “Okay, dude. Tell me you have the flash drive.”
He raised an eyebrow at her but reached a hand into the inside of his suit jacket. “Dude?” he questioned, amused.
“Well I’m not going to keep calling you the man in purple, am I?”
“Agent Clint Barton, at your service—”
Whatever he was going to say next was drowned out by a voice in Darcy’s ear. “Darcy, I need you to get out of that building right now,” Pepper hissed frantically. “We have to go radio silent for a while, but keep your comm on and we will come get you when it’s safe.”
“Affirmative.” Darcy paused, then added, “Please stay safe. All of you.” At the agent’s—Clint’s—questioning look, Darcy prompted, “How’s your thousand-yard dash?”
He smirked at her and answered, “Not bad. You ready?” Darcy sighed and kicked off her high heels. She nodded.
Clint dashed out the door. Darcy followed, snagging her coat—a waterproof, insulated, expensive gift from Pepper—and winter scarf from a nearby rack on her way. The remaining distance was clear, and she and Clint made it out of the mansion with little fuss. He paused at the bottom of the front steps—suit already soaked through from the freezing rain—and waited for her to catch up.
Darcy got close enough to reach out and grab Clint’s hand, and—
All of a sudden she was on her back, staring up at Clint’s face as he covered her body protectively. An explosion billowed from somewhere behind them, deafening her in one ear. Then they were moving again. Clint gripped her wrist tightly and called frantic encouragements every so often.
She and Clint raced into the forest surrounding the mansion, but didn’t stop running. Darcy’s hair plastered to her face, icy and wet. Her fingers started to lose sensation, until she could barely feel Clint’s grip on her wrist.
Darcy looked at her companion in alarm; if she was numb even while bundled up in a warm coat, Clint must have been in really bad shape. Sure enough, his movements were sluggish. Even his attempts to blink away the icy rain from his vision were slow, as if he was moving through molasses.
Something had to give, and soon. Luckily, Darcy spotted an outcropping of rocks that appeared to form a bit of shelter. She steered them that way desperately.
Clint all but collapsed once they got there, shivering from the cold. Terrified, Darcy dashed back out to find supplies. When she came back, she immediately built a small fire—the light from the flames showed that his lips were almost blue.
“Strip,” she commanded, standing to take off her coat at the same time. Clint just stood there, looking at her in confusion. Worried at his lack of response, she moved over to him and assisted him in taking off his clothing—his fingers were too numb and shaky to do it himself, and his movements were jerky and mechanical. It was like he wasn’t aware of what was going on.
Once he was naked, Darcy stripped off her cocktail dress and bundled herself and Clint underneath the full-length coat next to the fire. Eventually, their shared body heat warmed them both enough that they stopped shivering. After ten minutes or so, Clint’s breathing evened out into sleep.
They lied there for approximately an hour before their tiny fire started to flicker. Darcy gingerly removed herself from the warmth of their cocoon and went to coax it into a full flame.
The absence of Darcy’s body heat caused Clint to stir and wake up. Sitting up, the coat pooling at his waist, he growled lightly. “Not that I don’t mind giving a good show once in a while, but doesn’t this violate—I don’t know—some kind of doctors’ ethics or something? Or don’t I rate pants?”
Darcy laughed, moving back from where she’d been stoking the small fire in the corner of the cavern that they hid in. “Two things: one, you know I’m not a doctor—it’s a good thing you weren’t shot during our escape or we both would have been goners. And two, you’ve only been fully awake for less than two minutes and what has you worried is not having pants?”
With a roguish smile, Clint joked, “Hey, I know where my priorities are.” The effect was somewhat marred by the full-body shiver that overtook him.
Darcy frowned, hurrying back over to him. “Alright, flyboy. Get back under that coat before you die from hypothermia.” Clint huffed indignantly, but shifted over enough that she could slide under the jacket with him. To his credit, Clint’s eyes stayed above her chest for almost the entire time it took her to shuffle under the coat. Almost.
Sliding an arm around her and pulling her firmly into his body, Clint teased, “Did you just use a Star Wars insult on me?”
Darcy stroked a fingernail across his abs, appreciating the definition she found there. Clint shuddered at her touch. She smirked. “You got a problem with that, laser brain?”
He grinned in reply. “Not at all, darlin’. I’m starting to think we’re made for each other.”
She lifted her chin at that, and caught him staring at her mouth. They were close enough that she could reach out and lick the faint stubble on his jaw, if she wanted.
Darcy met his eyes and saw that Clint had come to the same realization. He licked his lips, drawing her gaze back to his mouth. She shifted her hand up slightly to his chest and gave herself the leverage she needed to reach his mouth.
Clint met her halfway. The kiss was soft at first—mouths still chilly and slightly numb from the rain—and they took their time exploring each other. Darcy swept her tongue along the seam of his lips, and he opened his mouth to allow her in.
He groaned against her mouth, pulling her impossibly closer into his body.
Darcy’s comm crackled to life for the first time since their hasty escape. “You do realize that we can hear all of this, yes?” Wanda asked, chuckling.
With reluctance, Darcy drew away. Clint threw her a questioning look, and she laughed, “We have an audience. We’ll continue this later, flyboy.”
He nipped at her lip one last time and admitted huskily, “I’m looking forward to it.”
